Hello :) A bit of a background on me. I am a 23 year old professional working full time at an insurance company in the city who recently moved to Melbourne 10 months ago with my fiancé (also a female working in revenue management in the city) We are quiet, respectful, extremely hard workers and very easy going). We both currently work 2 jobs so are mostly busy. The catch, we have 2 cats (both adopted from a home and had a hard life before us). They are very quiet, very well behaved and completely toilet trained (have never had an accident). They are also inside cats and are absolute sooks. (yet very scared of other people due to previous abusive homes). We are trying our best in the corporate world and are trying to save crazy to own our own home within the next 12-24 months. Hopefully we will be the right fit for your home! We look forward to hearing from you.a Kind Regards Carissa and Chrissy (and Dora and Diego)
Nurse, 33, from Philippines. Currently unemployed due to depression. Getting back on my feet and finding my way back to the workforce. Planning to move to Sydney soon. No problem with regards to paying rent on time. Dogs are a plus too, since I love dogs! Pretty much, I just like to stay out of your way, respects your space and privacy. But happy to chat and get to know people. I've been living in sharehouses for 6 years. No issues in sharing. Btw, my only issue was when I was told by my housemate to "get my act together". Clinical depression is a medical condition and not an act. I do not wish depression on anyone. If you understand mental health issues or open/accepting and willing to learn, that would definitely be much better. I'm more stable now. I think this is not a normal profile, considering the question I need to answer is "What makes me great to live with?" Perhaps, I just wanna put it out there. I'm not good with pretentions. I hope my profile doesn't come across as cocky. I'm just using every medium I know, to spread awareness about mental health issues and that people need not be ashamed of it. It's not our fault that we are sick. Even if this would cost me more difficulty and time looking for a place to stay.
Hello, I am looking for a place as a transition point into Melbourne. I have recently applied for mid-year University entrance and I am waiting for an acceptance letter from them. I am a quiet, clean person with a tendency to keep to myself. I enjoy reading, visiting the city and spending time on my computer. I have a cat that I would like to bring with me, however if that is a problem I can leave her behind.
Neat and tidy couple and both of us are into full time work-my work profile being a Marketing executive and my wife's being a Practice Manager. Free for weekends chats and fun and also respect quiet time. Pays rent on time as have been doing for past 4 years. Need a house to share with. My spouse is easy going and my little pumpkin(daughter) is 4 years old, quiet and well behaved darling. We have a car so would be needing a garage too. Overall, we are very easy going and respect other's privacy and space.
I'm a full-time worker, not usually at home although I don't like to socialize and I also keep in mind that you want space and privacy. I'm an active person so I am alway out of the house. Im great and an easy person to get along with. I also have small dog thats obedient and person friendly.

I'm an exercise physiologist working part time (hopefully full time soon) in Keilor East. I moved to Melbourne from Brisbane late last year to have a proper go at playing footy. I'm very tidy and spend an equal amount of time at the gym/footy as I do on the couch. I've also been known to enjoy a beverage or several on the weekend.
Hey! So I'm Lili, studying and working part time, I consider myself a little more introverted when I don't know people, but certainly come out of my shell once I get to know people. I'm super considerate and pretty quiet most of the time, love to have a bit of fun as well, and really just want to move out and get to know some awesome new people!
Mature, reliable, educated, quiet, responsible, keeps to self, easy, kind, trustworthy, funny and sweet. Respects privacy, won't be having anyone over, I don't know anyone in Melbourne! Need a furnished room. Not a party girl. Looking for peace and quiet. Am a teacher who will be busy preparing her lessons at night. I really would like my own bathroom.
Hey everyone, I am looking for a friendly, homely houseshare. I am easy to get along with, clean, love food and cooking. I work full time (usually 9 - 5ish) for a women's charity. I love getting out and about at the weekend and exploring Melbourne. I moved out here in September from the UK, but I'm originally from New Zealand. Anywhere with a bit of garden and a pet would be a bonus!
Hi Im Jesse. Im 30 years old. Im looking for a place for me and my dog Buster to move into. We are a pretty chilled out pair who love to socialise but also appreciate our down time. I work full time as a refrigeration mechanic. Im looking for a nice relaxed household with a yard as Buster spends most of his time outside. I enjoy going to gigs, hiking, walking the dog, music and reading.
I'm honest, hard working and enjoy spending time with friends. I am an Apprentice & have just taken up a new hobby - photography. Having fun learning how to improve my skills. Enjoyed Muay Thai last year but unfortunately it's on hold till I find suitable accommodation.
My name is Gemma and i am a 20 year old looking for 2 house mates to move into a house preferably in Essendon. Would prefer to rent a new house with 2 others rather than an existing share house. I have a Siberian Husky who is very friendly and loves people so dog lovers are a must!!!
My name is Rebecca. I am a 20 year old Female and I am from Melbourne, Australia. I am a newly full time flight attendant working at Melbourne Airport. I'm a very clean person ,very respectful of others privacy, I can cook quite well. I am an easy person to get along with and I will not be late with rent payments. I am a non-smoker, I have my own bedroom furniture , I lived in communal living for a long time and have had to share bathrooms with 80 others living in the same building. I have a great personality and a bubbly sense of humour. I work all weird hours of the day but I will certainly make time to get to know my room mate. I drive a car and I would prefer to park it securely but if not that's ok. I would like to live close to the airport and the city ,so if you have any recommendations of areas that are nice I would love to hear from you. I'm urgently seeking a place closer to the airport as I am nearly paying $ 30 a day on tolls and with the road works I am lucky enough to get to 60 kms 😂 I'm a super handy person to have around as I can fix things if they get broken and I have a high level of self defence training so I will protect you from those big spiders If you need me too Can't wait to hear from you. My maximum budget is $150 pushing $200 x
Hi! My name is Vinodh, but please feel free to call me Vin. ABOUT ME I am 30 years old and work as an IT web development tester and as a bartender; I graduated in mechanical engineering after school but am looking for my true calling. I was born in Sri Lanka but have been a Melbournian since I was 3 years old - love this place! - and grew up in Essendon, Tullamarine, Sydenham areas. My main love at the moment is attending meditation classes and assisting/volunteering at the center. I was recently studying some online subjects - sustainability and marketing - in my spare time and I look forward to studying subjects like psychology, philosophy, even astronomy, in the future. I love catching up with friends as often as possible; visiting the family regularly; and try to(!) keep fit and healthy by going to friend's crossfit class. I do enjoy my footy (AFL) - go Bombers! - and try to go to my team's games as often as possible; I am pretty open to all sports. I enjoy a good documentary, movie, and television series (love Game of Thrones) and staying abreast of world news. Also enjoy visiting a gallery, going to the beach or for walk in nature, or going to a random local music gig, when I can. I am pretty open to different things and really enjoy trying something new. I am pretty easy going, open minded and broad in my preferences. Really important to me is respecting each person's individuality and their preferences. WORK AND LIFESTYLE I work business hours in the web tester job and work in the afternoon/evenings for the bar job with the latest shift finishing at midnight. Afterwork (weekday), I like to attend any meditation classes, or I do some exercise, and I usually unwind at home by watching TV, browsing the internet, or reading. On the weekend, I like to catch up with with friends and family and attend any meditation events - all when I am not working at the wine bar. It's hard for me to accept sometimes, but I think my party days are over (haha!) but I still enjoy the odd night out. LIVING WITH OTHERS I am definitely not looking for a party house, just a warm, friendly and homely environment to live with friends. With respect to living with others, it is really important to me to perform my share of cleaning duties, in order to keep a functioning and livable home. I like to keep a clean house and am happy to accommodate to any standard. I enjoy having a laugh with my housemate over a tea/coffee/beer/wine, sharing a meal together, and/or chilling watching some TV/movie etc. when it suits, but I understand that people have their own lives, and like to respect other's personal time and needs. I am looking for a friendly, easy going, honest person(s) with a positive attitude, and is reliable by paying rent & bills on time. I would like someone who is generally clean and tidy and knows when to pitch-in with cleaning duties. Similar interests is nice but not essential, but I do prefer people with like-minded values. I am happy to share with a professional or student, male or female, and am not concerned about your age or personal preferences. BUDGET, LENGTH OF STAY, AND MOVING DATE I need to move out of my current residence in Essendon by April 20, but would ideally like to by the end of the Easter long weekend. My budget is anywhere between $100-200 per week. I would prefer it be as low as possible and probably upto and including $160-170 per week (approx upto $750 per calendar month). I have entered a slightly higher budget primarily just to keep my options open, but would prefer lower. Ideally I would like to find a residence for a medium to long term period - ideally 6 months plus. (I have entered 6 weeks in the information above as a minimum stay) FOOD SHARING As described previously I enjoy having a drink with my housemate on occasion and sharing a meal together to socialise and to create a nice and warm home. In general though, I would prefer to organise my own food, primarily because I am pretty relaxed with what I eat and am not the greatest cook (haha!). With respect to food, I am happy to accommodate for the practices of the house which I am moving into. I am happy to share the common things (salt, oil, etc.) and am happy to pay my share and/or purchase the items when needed. I am also pretty cool with just buying my own things too like the salt, oil etc. - just let me know what your preference is. FURNITURE BEDROOM AND HOUSE With regards to furniture, I do own the following for own room (but am happy to sell some or all of these items if the room is partially/fully furnished): - Double bed fram and mattress - Tall boy clothes drawer - Clothes cabinet (approx 1.8m x 1) - Student desk I also currently own the following furniture for the house which I am happy to bring into the house or sell prior to moving in if required: - Fridge Freezer (approx 480L) - 2 x 2.5 seat red fabric couches - very comfortable - Washing machine - front loader - BBQ OTHER INFO Yes (unfortunately) I do smoke cigarettes, approx two per day, but I do not smoke inside (always smoke outside). I would love to reduce this stuff honestly, therefore I am very open to not smoking outside home as well; if that's your preference, the extra motivation will help(!). I am very happy to not smoke near the house/apartment if that is preferred. Anyway, that's heaps about me hahaha! But please feel free to find out more. Look forward to hearing from you and hopefully enjoying a coffee/tea/beer/wine over a good chat and laugh with you shortly! Cheers, Vin
I have lots of jobs that I travel around for so often going on overnight trips. I am a farmer from North West Victoria looking to move to Melbourne for 3 months to study before returning back home for Harvest in November. Move in date of June 1st. I probably couldnt handle a smokers environment as I have never been a smoker. I rarely drink although I do enjoy socializing and chatting.
I currently work in a warehouse as a store man/forklift driver and also am a musician (singer/songwriter) with impact events in Melbourne! I'm a really chilled guy that just likes to have a drink at the end of the day and hang out! I want housemates that I can get along with and spend time with while also having personal space and I'm also tidy as hell & trouble/drama free
I'm Jim and I work for Virgin at the airport in a professional capacity. On a typical week I am away so really only use a house on an irregular basis -I'd prefer to share with someone professional and clean. I'm looking for a nice sized room in a modern bright place with all the usual mod cons - and someone who is friendly happy and enjoys their independence - I'm easy going, tend to spend a fair amount of my free time outside of the house and enjoy an regular active lifestyle and eating healthy.
