Two engineers working in Sydney. Looking for a few other kooks who love bike riding, the beach, good tunes and getting outdoors on the weekend.
I'm Brazilian, a very friendly, easy-going, clean and organized guy. I enjoy going to the beach to swimm or take long walks, and also going to the cinema or stay at home watching series and chilling. I'm working near Bondi Beach at a coffee shop and I'm looking for a single room around this area.
Experienced flat sharer here looking for a beach or some nightlife to move too. I'm an organised guy that enjoys sports, the outdoors, reading, going out and won't say no to trying something new. Want to live with mates, not randoms. I enjoy a chat as much as just hanging out with myself. Happily jump on board for a teamup. It'd be awesome if we got enough together for a house. Happy to spend some cash furnishing something as I hope to be there for years cause moving sucks 🤣 Let me know, give me a buzz 0414973001
Hey mates, French engineer working hard full time during the week, surfing harder weekends. Social and tidy, I have already been living for 1 year in this beautiful city. Looking for 1 private room around Bondi/Tamarama/Bronte. Cheers
I enjoying socializing with mates, cooking feasts, getting down to the beach/outdoors/gym whenever i can and would love to also do the same with future housemates. I'm easy going, tidy and own and operate a small family business in Bondi Junction and work long hours and might be unseen during the week.
I am Inès, I'm French. I've been living in Sydney for 2 weeks now and I'm looking for a place to stay in Bondi beach. I am working in Sydney full-time and I am on a WHV. I plan to stay in Sydney until July/ August. I would love to find a nice place to relax and enjoy the Bondi Life style.
Hi I am Mahmuda and I just arrived in the great land of Oz on the 18th of November from the US (Washington DC). I am presently staying at an AirBnB in Zetland, but looking for a more permanent rental to move to. I spent a good chunk of my 20s doing space science research at NASA, which helped me develop my passion for interdisciplinary space science research. I got my PhD few months ago and moved here to (hopefully) start an awesome postdoctoral job at UNSW. I expect to be away every few weeks to take a trip to the Anglo-Australian telescope while there. Due to my time in Japan, I love anime and speak fluent Japanese. But since I have spent my adult life in the upper East Coast of US, I am surrounded by diversity here, and thus consider myself to be a highly multi-cultural being. That being said, this will actually be my first time in the southern hemisphere and I want to live with housemates as a) I am used to living with very resourceful housemates now, b) as someone new to a country with no family and friends, I need to make my own family and friends and c) I am highly allergic to dust and cockroaches (roaches don't exist where I live in the US - we blast our ACs here...) so I need to live with someone who will mutually share a responsibility of keeping the place clean with me. I am used to air-conditioning, so I am looking for a place with air conditioning available during the summer and since I won't have a car, I am looking to live close to UNSW campus, preferably east of it due to not wanting to live in the inner city (I hear that's where the roaches are...) Also I am willing to pay max up to $400 per week only if that amount include utilities. I will get paid pretty well at my new job but I have student loans to pay in the US (so do most people who get higher education degrees in the US), so I have to spend my money pretty conservatively while in Australia.... Besides roaches and summer air conditioning, the other thing I am picky about is smoking. In the US, we have strict smoking control, which is great for someone like me who suffers from asthma. I hear that kind of control is not a thing in Australia....I am fine living with smokers, as long as the smoking happens outside the house. I also need a big closet. I realize I cannot get the giant walk in closets I am used to in US, but I can do with a relatively large closet probably. The other thing is the nature of my job will require me to work night hours at least half the time, so I am not looking for a room with a lot of lighting - I will need to sleep during the day. In the US, I have always lived in basement bedrooms to accommodate my sleeping hours, but I hear that's not a thing in Australia (basement apartments). So a "lot of natural light", while a plus feature for most people, is something I am actively avoiding at least for the bedroom. My appointment at UNSW will last at least 2.5 years so if all works out between us, I will be happy to live at your place for the full duration. On the other hand, while I indicate I am looking for a place for at least 12 months, I am okay just starting up with a 6 month deal. I understand I am new to the country and things may not work out at my first place for whatever reason. I am also not a party animal, I prefer doing the whole "came back from hard day of work let's socialize a little and share how your/my day was" thing, but I also generally keep to myself. Grew up as an only child in a foreign country so definitely not a needy person here. Lastly, I love decorating and I can pretty much talk about anything and have gotten along with every respectful housemate I have had in my lifetime (I have had over 20 housemates in the past 8 years alone due to the place I lived for over 5 years having a lot of short term dwellers).
Hey, I arrived on October 4th in Australia and come from Paris. I'm looking for a flatshare with a private furnished room. I am a pretty neat person and like cleaned house but don't worry I'm also laid-back. Btw I prefer a modern house. I work as an entrepreneur for french companies. Apart from work I also practice sports (especially swimming). If you're a sportsperson we're going to get along well. I'm a person who like to do many things, and pretty curious. We can talking about business or investment or whatever or also going out for a drink.
Hi I'm from California and back living in Australia. I attended Macquarie Uni and graduated in 2018. I work full time and very easy going and always up for an adventure. I am very clean, love to cook, go to the beach, and workout. I enjoying going out for a drink on the weekends and having wine and movie nights! Looking for my own room with fun flatmates to move in with.
Hi i'm Sam! I'm at 25 year old girl originally from Colorado and just starting a work/travel year in Sydney. I recently made the big move from New York City and am currently staying with a friend so move-in date is flexible but would love to sort something out by mid December. I love keeping busy by frequenting happy hours, traveling, live music and beach days. I'm here to have some fun and adventure but also plan to get a full-time job -- I'm open to living in a bustling house or quiet one, whatever matches your places mood. I'm fun-loving and easy-going but also clean, respectful of your space and relaxed with guests/pets/etc. Would love to grab a coffee if you have a room available! xx
