Friendly, generous and pretty handy. Always clean up after myself and im extremely easy going so yeah. Looking for 1 roomie to find a place with. I'm a trainee assistant accountant in raymond terrace so im looking for a place within 20 minutes from there.
Looking for a mostly weekender (furnished) on or near the beach over summer initially (but may well extend) as I own my own home in Sydney and will be coming and going quite a bit. I am tidy, kind, caring and considerate and love music and travel. I will consider any beachside location North or South Coast NSW or the Gold or Sunshine Coasts in Queensland.
Hey, I'm in the RAAF being posted to William town for 12 months and need a good place to stay I'm a good cleaner, I'm organised and can be both social and keep to myself I'll probably be working All the time
Looking for a cool place to move in to around February. I work random days through the week and on the weekends and I am also studying some maritime qualifications which keeps me pretty busy and I try and get out doors to the beach as often as possible. I'm relaxed, tidy and easy to get along with so I'm looking for similar house mates. Hoping for a place somewhere in town within a short driving/walking distance to the beach so Cooks Hill, Hamilton, Carrington, Maryville, Wickham anywhere kind of in that area would be great. I have a few surfboards, paddle boards, camping stuff etc so be good if the place had a garage or somewhere to keep that sort of gear.
i work as a barista so already I have your attention. I'm up at 4:30am most morning so I will need to be with people who don't mind me getting up that early. I tend to kept to myself but don't mind a "family" BBQ and a couple of drinks. Just looking for somewhere that makes it feel like home and not like I'm bothering and inconvenience to anyone. I'm clean and I'm a massive push over so I'll be deso for you. Just like to see people happy.
Hi I'm Julie, I work full time in healthcare. The lease in my current sharehouse is ending so I'm looking for a new place. I'm friendly and easy-going with a good sense of humour. I enjoy having a wine and socialising with housemates, but also happy to do my own thing. I'm a non-smoker, tidy and respectful. I love food, music and wine - and travelling! Looking for somewhere to call home for a while, close to the water (or walking areas would be great). And looking to meet new people and enjoy Newcastle. Move in date is flexible. Happy to chat more, so feel free to message me.
I'm neat, clean, respectful and not just saying that. Work full-time weekdays, enjoy a weekend drink but my party days are limited / behind me. Pretty quiet throughout the week with work, and just like to keep fit, chill, watch sport. Have no problem keeping to myself as I have plenty to do, but don't mind a good chat / drink as well.
Hiya, I'm Andrew, I'm 25. I've lived in Newcastle my entire life primarily around New Lambton & Dudley with abit of travelling this year. I'm seeking a place close to the CBD and/or one of the many beaches around town. I currently work 4 days a week in Architecture whilst studying my masters, I love being near the ocean and being as active as possible, surfing/biking/skating/yoga, whatever! I do partake in enjoying a casual beer or red wine as much as the next guy too. I don't smoke also and think dogs are the best thing ever. I've lived previously in a flat with one other person, and consider myself a very relaxed and easygoing person that can respect others space & daily routines. I'm very clean, particularly in the kitchen. Ideally, I'm seeking a place that has good off street parking, storage for a mountain bike and within 25 minutes ride into the CBD. Feel free to contact me if you think I might be your guy :) Andrew
I'm a 3rd year pharmacy student who also works part time at a pharmacy. Tidy person with complete respect for personal space and belongings. Can make a killer Mojito :)
Moving to Newcastle from Sydney next year to study my Masters in Architecture at UON (starting in Feb), and looking for a relaxed household to call home from around late January to mid-February. While I'll probably be spending a lot of time in the studios at uni, in my spare time I also like to lift weights and surf (poorly), go for rides on my motorbike, watch horror films and hang out at local coffee shops and bars. I'd love to be a part of a home with similarly-minded active, creative people, who like to share the occasional beer or glass of wine, maybe get a pub trivia team going Thanks!
I am a Maldivian studying Development Studies at UON. I have one more year left and I am looking for a great location to spend my last year in Newcastle. I am neat, a fairly good cook, and a lover of the beach, good music and good vibes.
I'm an easy going, fun loving guy, not much of a party enthusiast but love socializing with friends and flatmates for an occasional drink. I love trying out various cuisines and you can always count on me to grab a bite with you... I believe in staying fit and enjoy my runs! In my spare time, I can watch movies and tv series endlessly :) I'm moving to New Castle for about 6 months for work and am looking out for a team-up or a flat to share... Cheers!
Hi, I'm Sarah. I'm studying my Masters in Social Work and working in mental health with an NGO. I have two weeks to find a new place and my current real estate (Nextview Property) are happy to rent to me again so If I can find one or two others to live with me, we're good! I'm an amazing housemate and have an indoor rabbit named Margot that spends her days getting pats. She is smart, litter trained and more of a cat-dog. I'm very clean, considerate of all my housemates, responsible, active, enjoy a glass of wine, hanging out and gaming. I am open to living pretty much anywhere from Wallsend to Newcastle.
G'day :) my name is Gizem and I'm 25 years old. Now, I am living in Germany and writing my master thesis in the building faculty of the German University in Stuttgart. During the exchange program of my university I will be a student of the University of Newcastle for 2 Semesters (15th Feb. until 15. Dec.). I am looking for a furnished accomodation for a maximum budget of $ 175 per week. Apart from that, I am looking for flatmates who are likewise curious about new cultures and are open minded. I chose the Australian Uni because I heart many positive points about this country. I am very looking forward to experience all of this by my own. In Germany, I also live in a shared flat so I am well up in living with other people. I would really looking forward hearing from you as soon as possible. Thanks mate :) Warm greetings from Germany, Gizem
Easy going couple, enjoy the outdoors keeping fit, surfing, bike rides etc. Looking for a reasonably modern place not to far from the beach. We are two clean and tidy people looking for a place to call home for the next 6-12 months.
Hi there! I'm Andrew. I'm in my final year of uni, studying to be a lawyer. This year I'll be working two days a week and studying. Looking to move into an apartment close to, or in, the Newcastle CBD, so that I can walk to work and uni. I'm a tidy person with respect for other people's space. I'm looking to meet two other like-minded people (i.e. students, young professionals etc) to team-up and find a place, and hopefully be flatmates I can be friends with! I will need a place to park a car.
Looking to move into a chill sharehouse, with like minded people! I`m pretty much the most laid back person you will ever meet. I study law, love the beach, enjoy a glass of wine, am tidy and respectful of fellow housemates and always up for a chat. Hoping to move in with people I can call friends and would be keen on having a drink or two! I`m a very hard worker and get busy with Uni during semester, but always make time to pull my weight around the house. If I sound like I would fit in feel free to hit me up! Peace :)
Hi! I'm a full time art student and work weekends. 6 months+ is preferable but short term is ok until i find something long term This move has sprung on me rather quickly so i will have bond, but only when i get it back from my current place (our lease ends 27th jan) I love to cook (so theres always yummy leftovers because portion control is for suckers) not a big party person (being 30 i prefer red wine and cheese platters to beer bongs) but do enjoy a good bevvy filled banter in the yard and a cheeky night out once in a while. red wine is the nectar of the gods and cheese platters complete with crackers, dips and cured meat selection are dinners of champions who can't be bothered with real food. chocolate is a constant. disney isn't just for kids. quite happy to be anywhere on the scale of keeping to ourselves or becoming BFF's. (although some sort of happy interaction is pleasant and i'll be new to the area so friendly locals are always a nice find) i have a very clean indoor/outdoor cat. gypsy, she's a beautiful ginger kitty, v. small. she kinda hates everyone (not mad just very very shy). so won't be all up in your business. spends most of her time asleep in the shade or on my bed at night. not a clean freak but if things start growing in the sink and fridge that's not cool.
I have recently graduated from a Bachelor of Science in Sydney, and am looking for a place to live in the Newcastle area for 6 months. I am an energetic and fun-loving person who enjoys hiking, climbing (novice), cycling, dancing, and going to the beach. I also like relaxing with a glass of wine or a schooner, and I love seeing live music. I am relaxed and easy to live with, but still pride myself on being clean and tidy. I have my own car and bicycle.
Hello, I am a 31 year old who has been in the Fly-In / Fly-Out industry for the last 10 years. I am from Nelson Bay and I am now working locally in Newcastle, looking for a place that is an easy commute to work. I seek housemates with similar living standards as myself, neat and tidy, considerate of others and their space and respectable. I am easy to get along with, enjoy meeting new people and I also like being out and about keeping myself busy. You wont catch me lying around the house in my PJ's very often unless I have had a late night before. Preferably wanting a place that has my own bathroom and somewhere with off the street to park my car. Kate
Hey! I'm a super clean & reliable, health conscious person who enjoys fitness; not into partying although I am a social person when it comes to outdoor activities. I don't drink. I love cooking. I surf & skate & am not home much because I enjoy being outdoors. I study at UON and work part-time. Looking for somewhere close to Bar Beach or Newcastle East beaches (within walking distance). Need a room big enough for a king bed. Non-smoking house essential. Looking to move anytime in mid to late Feb preferably the week starting the 27th but can move earlier if I find the right place :) Message me if you think your place sounds fitting (preferably in Newcastle East, Cooks Hill, The Hill, Bar beach, Newcastle.)
Hello! I'm moving to Newcastle in Feb and am looking for a place to live. I'm 25 and working full time. I like sports, hanging out with friends and going for adventures on the weekend! I'm easy going, cheerful and considerate and am looking for similar housemates to live with :)
I am a 26 yr old CrossFit coach looking for a place for myself and my toy cavoodle named Rhonda. I work split hours so am in and out throughout the day and am also studying by correspondence. I'm super tidy, and keen to find someone who is respectful and clean. Happy to have a chat and hang out, but also enjoy my time alone so won't be in your hair all the time.
Hey peeps! I'm a really easy going person. I currently work full time as a manager in hospitality, and have recently finished my degree in interior design. I love to cook so I'm so down for family dinners, I do enjoy a wine or too aswell. Love going to the beach, chilling with friends and all that fun stuff but do Like a little down time. Let me know if I sound like your gal!
Hey! My name is Sam, I'm 18 and super clean. I love surfing and playing sports. I'm looking for a place where i can get a lot of study done, but also have a laugh and an occasional drink with other flatmates.
Hi, We're a couple (25 and 30) with a well trained golden retriever, and our fur baby (cringe...sorry) must come with us. We're laid back and chill, but we also know how to clean and we are sociable but not loud. We're focused on doing well at work and uni and meeting some really cool people along the way. I'm from Newcastle, my husband is Mexican-American (California). He makes great tacos, enchiladas and nachos, and he's really into science (doing open foundation to get into diagnostic radiography) but used to work as a comedian (don't worry though, he's not annoying). I'm working part-time and thinking about finishing a grad dip in psychology. I love movies, laughing and anything creative...save subway artistry. We are looking for a room in a share house with an ensuite or a granny flat. If you feel like getting in touch, just give us a bell or send us an email : )
Easy going roomate, working fulltime in Maitland. Moved to Newcastle last year, still meeting people/ making friends. Likes to keep a clean house, loves to cook and chilled drinks on the weekend.
Hello! My names Eamon (19), I'm from the Central Coast and am moving to Newcastle to be closer to UON. I can have fun and love to socialise and make new friends but I'm also respectful of other people (I won't throw parties without asking other housemates). I'm neat and tidy and respectful of other people's belongings. I would like a place where all the roommates are friends and get along well as its where we will spend most of our time. I'm also looking at whole houses to rent so if anyone wants to teamup I have a few places I'm looking at near the uni saved.
I'm David, a PhD researcher at the University. Looking for a new place to call home, I'm easy going, enjoy the occasional drink or meal with housemates. I'm pretty busy during the week with work but kick back when I can at the weekends. If I sound like someone you could get a long with, give me a shout. :)
G'day Mate, My names Dan and I am currently studying a sound engineering course at Tighes Hill TAFE. I am From the Hunter Valley region and would like a change of scenery. I have been offered a job as a sound technician in the Newcastle area but until I am based there they will not accept, hence the urgency of residents. My main interests would be socializing with mates, having a few beers, swimming at the beach, lots of fishing and absolutely anything music related. Cheers, Dan
I'm a 24 year horticulturalist from Melbourne recently moved to Newcastle as my girlfriend is studying physio at the uni. I have recently got a full time job at the council as a tree worker. I enjoy Surfing, Spear fishing and camping. Aisha is a full time physio student that works as a barista on weekends.
Hey I'm Mitch, I'm a very easy going dude that is looking for a comfortable place to live. I'm clean, tidy and organised by nature but wont be a Nazi about it 24/7 haha. I am very sociable and have a great outgoing relationship with my friends/family but I'm not looking to join a rundown party house at all! Beers and Wines by the beach and maybe some eggs Benedict on the weekend sounds good to me. I also like to train at the Gym 4-5 times a week and go for Jogs with my doggo. She is a very obedient outside pet that is loved by everyone who meets her. She will reside with me so pets need to be considered but I can assure she is not a problem at all. I currently own a property in Beresfield but due to a split with my partner we are now going through the process of selling and I plan to rent for at least 12 months provided the place is comfortable and flatmates are friendly :) Location needs to be close to Newcastle preferably but may consider other options. I work full-time (40+ hours) and study part time Via Correspondence. So with work study and Gym Mon-Fri I will be out of your hair haha but when it comes to the weekend I'm very easy to get along with! :) And I am not lazy in the slightest so Yard/pool maintenance is not problem what so ever. Let me know if I could be considered. Cheers.
Mature, 23 year old professional. Been living out of home since i was 18! Very clean & take pride in the up keep & appearance of my home. I'm a social person who enjoys getting out & about socialising, meeting new people but do also appreciate my own space from time to time & respect other's space! Work Mon-Fri, 9-5 & alternate Saturday mornings & when not at work, i'll be around the water somewhere, catching up with friends or being boring watching netflix & pigging out on delicious food :D
Hi, I'm a seasoned housemate and pride myself on living in clean, respectful environments. Currently studying Occupational Therapy at Newcastle University and work part-time for myself. I am the proud owner of an eight year old Alaskan malamute, name Mia. She is too friendly and difficulty not to dote on. I'm looking for a place that I can relax and retire to. My work is contractual and often done during uni holidays, where I can be away for weeks at a time. I'm not a partier at all and enjoy keeping fit with Mia or hitting the gym regularly. I'd like to live in a house that is friendly and welcoming. I am currently in the Middle East for work and looking for a place to move into on my return.
Hi, I'm Becky. I'm a professional working in disability / social justice and I'm moving to Newcastle to work and do a Masters in Public Health. I'm a photographer and I love camping, animal spotting, yoga, and cinema. Am a bit left of centre and very open minded. I'm a friendly, social, relaxed, clean and considerate housemate. I've over 10 years housesharing and I've made some great ongoing friendships from it. I'd love to find a home with people who have their own lives but who are social and open to a drink or occasional shared meals and adventures. I have friends in the area but would like to meet more locals. I also hope to find a place with a dog, or where there is a possibly of introducing a dog some time in the future.
I'm easy going and low maintenance, always up for a laugh and good conversation and I respect privacy and personal space. I have just moved from far north Queensland and am looking to start a whole new life here! I love the outdoors and exploring, live music and anything creative! Looking for an easy going household, so if you have something you think would suit me please get in touch😆
I'll keep this short and sweet :) I'm looking for a room to rent in the Newcastle region (preferably close to the beach). I'm 27. I work full-time Monday to Friday. I love getting to the beach and the gym! I love a drink and socializing with friends. But I also like some quiet time! I'm respectable & clean
My name is Chloe. I am 24 and work full-time as a marketing coordinator for a fluid power company. I also study my bachelor of communications via correspondence. On the weekends I like going to the markets, exercising, and going to the beach etc. I don't mind a wine and social activities.
Hi there. Currently and for the last couple of years, I rent on my own after many years of share housing. However, as rent keep going up I'm considering looking to 'team up' on a new rental property preferably (mainly seeing as I've got a house worth of furnishings). I'm not in a desperate hurry to move and would only look to do so with the right housemate basically. I do actually have a spare bedroom at my current lease so would consider taking on a housemate at the current property also. About me; I work full time, play sport a couple of times a week, non-party animal, enjoy reading, listening to music and the beach in summer. I've been living in Newcastle just over five years now and don't mind playing tour guide if you're new to the city! Around the house, I'm easy going, tidy and respectful. I enjoy good company and conversation, but also enjoy a bit of quiet time too occasionally. Weekends are pretty quiet and laid back but in saying that, I like to get out of the house (not a lounge lizard). An ideal housemate would fit into similar criteria hopefully or at least think this sounds a bit like them. Similar age bracket too would be good. Let me know if that's you!
Hi, I'm Madalyn. Looking for someone to live with who is easy to get along with, clean and tidy. I work full time as a registered nurse. Looking for like minded people who like to socialise on the weekend either at home with wine and a good cheese board or head out too.
Hey I'm Kimberly. I'm looking to live with fun, nice and social people! I don't want to be there to just rent a room. I'm a very easy going, neat and tidy person! Always respectful towards anyone's privacy and down time etc. Gender isn't an issue. Would prefer to live with people between 18-25. If you have/know of a place just message me with a bit about yourself and the place etc. xx
I am in an unusual position l work full -time an hour north of Newcastle l live in the residences attached to my practice and so really only want somewhere to escape to maybe one night during the week and on weekends. I prefer it to be near the beaches preferably one with an ocean swimming pool.
Two friendly young guys working full-time and studying IT at UON. We're looking for a third person who's interested in renting somewhere sort of in the area of Mayfield East. Mayfield, Tighes Hill, etc. Looking to rent something with 3 bedrooms, potentially a 4th for shared office space. Aiming at $175 per person per week roughly. Tidy, organised, friendly dudes with good senses of humour and lots of furniture.
