My name is Carolina – I'm a 23 year old digital artist, and I'm looking for an unfurnished room to rent in Brisbane with cool people around 18-30. I'm clean, tidy and like to keep to myself most of the time (though I do like a chat now and then!) I would be looking for somewhere with undercover parking as well (garage / carport) - let me know if this is an extra cost! I'm respectful of people's space, privacy and property – basically I treat them as I would want myself and my property to be treated. I've never damaged a property that I've lived in, and I keep up with general household chores – of course I always clean up after myself as well, I can't stand a dirty living space. Hopefully my future housemates agree :-) I love animals and completed a Certificate III in Animal Studies, as well as having had multitudes of pets over the years. I'm really into things like permaculture, self-sufficiency and basically anything outside to do with animals and plants (did you know you can eat duckweed? For real! It's high protein). I love researching anything related and you can often find me looking up things like 'how to raise goats' and 'can you keep catfish in Australia'. It's my jam =) Here's a short list of things I'm looking for in my next place: - garage space to park in . - pets allowed - I have a small outdoor aviary (1.2m x 1.6m) with quails for eggs (I'm happy to share!) /some budgies. I have Luna (my chill cockatiel) inside in my room. Cats and dogs are fine, we currently live with 2 cats and 3 dogs in the same house. - Fast reliable internet - I depend on this for a lot of my work so this is a must! I hope this helps give you more of an idea of my personality, and whether I'd mesh into your sharehouse.

Hi there, I am looking for a clean, happy environment for me and my two beautiful outdoor dogs. I work full-time, head to the gym a few nights a week, polite and respectful, have lived in share accomodation before so know how it all works. I clean up after myself, do my bit, pay my bills and know when to be social and when not to be. I work in the country and live in the city so I am looking for a house closer to work - to save $$ on the petrol bill. I am pretty easy going and would just really appreciate a place to call home for a while. Obviously I understand the dog thing will make this difficult, so please contact me to meet them. They are beautiful. Looking forward to my next chapter! Sarah

Hi, I'm Jodie. Seeing as we're complete strangers, I figured I'd give a clear picture of what I'm looking for and what it's like to live with me so we can skip the part where we have to find another situation! Happy to consider pooling our resources and applying for a place together. I do psychometric assessments by trade, but am currently recovering from health complications as a result of surgery so am on government income for now. I’m a quietly productive type of person who loves to get out in nature, travel and experience life, as well as read, cook & do photography. I'm introverted myself and prefer to be left to my own devices, but am also confident & friendly so enjoy the occasional good chat or Netflix binge if we're around at the same time; I prefer not to live like awkward strangers in the same house. I do love my extraverts, but don't think I currently want to live with one as we generally have very different lifestyle needs. We'd be a good match if you want someone who: - Is 100% reliable with paying the full rent & bills on time & happy to provide references - Is looking for long-term accommodation - Is very clean & tidy (I like to live that way, and leave places in as good condition or better than I found them) - Does their share of the chores without being asked - Doesn't smoke - Has no children - Has no pets (I love animals and have had pets from rats to cats, dogs & horses but want a long-term break) - Is vegetarian but doesn't care what you eat, likes to cook & is happy to share the odd meal & drink (I suck at cooking for one) - Likes a calm atmosphere in the home (I don’t do drama, and don’t want to be around it) - Lives a quietly happy life and is NOT a party person or huge socialiser - Is perfectly comfortable respecting your space & privacy - Will ask before using anything that belongs to you and request the same courtesy in return - Would be an ideal flatmate if you work away from home a lot & want someone trustworthy to look after the place while you’re gone & help share the bills We'd be a poor match if you: - Don’t pay the rent & bills on time - Only want/are offering short-term accommodation - Allow smoking (including outside) - Have pets or frequently barking dogs in the neighbourhood - Have children who visit regularly or live on the premises (I like a quiet life and realise it's not fair or even possible to ask children or teens to adhere to that) - Are dirty, messy or lazy with your share of the household chores in communal spaces - Aren’t a considerate & respectful flatmate - Are someone who likes to have lots of people around or people visiting the house frequently - Are a loud, exuberantly social, party person or someone who attracts drama - Are looking for someone to potentially be your new best friend, hangout/drinking buddy, or cure for loneliness (sorry to be blunt, but it happens & I'm not the answer) - Are a huge fan of Seinfeld (jokingnotjoking)

Welcome to my TED talk Hey I'm Kyle, I'm 20 years old and really chill. I'm really clean and organised, I hate living a super dirty house so you don't need to worry about me not pulling my weight (But I'm not a neat freak that's gonna go postal because the house hasn't been vacuumed or something. As for a bit more about me as person I work about fifteen to twenty hours a week at the moment but I'm always looking for better work, and I'm looking at going into some sort of study in 2020. I play a lot of videogames and go out to a lot of gigs and concerts of the heavier variety, and I'm very involved in the local music scene of Brisbane. I love animals so if you have a pet that's awesome. I'm super respectful of boundaries and personal space and I'm not noisy either. I do have a partner that comes over to see me quite often as well but she's essentially the exact same as me Don't know what else to say so thanks for coming to my TED talk
