Hi there, I am a 22 year old student at Macquarie University, studying a Bachelor of Medical Sciences in my first year. I am very quiet and keep to myself, I'm honestly not much of a talker and value my privacy. I do have a boyfriend that I like to spend time with, but otherwise I don't party or like to have people over. I spend most of my time studying and listening to music, however you won't have to put up with my tastes as I'm aware that sound travels throughout a house and so keep it down, especially at night. I am also a very strict non-smoker and non-drinker. I am generally tidy and clean up after myself, both in my own room and in common areas. I can happily live with cats, though dogs will have to be on a case-by-case basis. I can supply all of my own things like towels, plates/bowls/cutlery and bedding, so the only things I would need to share would be a washing machine, dryer and fridge. I am looking for a preferably unfurnished room, a large room is preferred, as I am a bit of a hermit and tend to live in my room, so being able to comfortably fit a double bed and a desk is a must, however a furnished room is also okay. Anywhere along the North Shore, Northern and Western line is ideal, from about North Sydney to Epping and Hornsby as that would keep me close to uni. ~15 minutes away from a train station would be ideal. My rental budget is a maximum of $200/week, or $250/week if bills and utilities are included. I hope to meet you and become a great housemate, - Blake
I'm from Cairns, I have just graduated from school and I have deferred my course at Medical school for 12 months, so I have decided to move out from my family and just experience something new and different this year. I'm a pretty easy going guy and likes almost anything, I also can do chores and errands and know how to cook a little. I'm a non-smoker with no pets and looking for a quiet place to stay. I am still currently living in Cairns, but I am moving down to Sydney around Hornsby on the 15/04/2017 and will be looking for another place to stay in June.
Easy going guy, gets along with most people, likes a laugh, clean and tidy, picks up after himself, I have a need to move closer to the family home in Wahroonga to assist more with my son, looking more to the Thornleigh and around there if possible??
Hi, i'm Maddie. I currently live at home but looking to move into a houseshare or to start up a new one. (I'm not interested in an apartment) My ideal place would be a very pet-friendly house with a fenced backyard as I have a 7 month old puppy! Other housemates would NEED to love dogs! I'm very easy going and friendly! I'm tidy and considerate, always cleaning up after myself and my dog. If i'm not at work or uni i'm usually taking my dog to the park/beach/friends house. I'd like to live anywhere on the upper north shore or Macquarie Uni area Thanks for reading :)

Hi! I am Hannah from Sydney and looking to move in with friendly people in the North Shore area. I work full time in North Sydney. At home I enjoy reading, internetting, and cooking on the weekends. I also like spending time in the great outdoors, so I will probably also be doing that on the weekends. I am a people person so I will look forward to becoming friends with whoever I move in with. However, I do know how to be quiet and and considerate of other people and will respect your need for space and peace and quiet (especially while you are trying to sleep). I do a bit of housesitting in the area (more over summer, but usually at least a weekend per month). So I will be away a little bit. My move date is flexible.

I work full time (Mon-Fri, 9am to 5pm ish) as a course admin for an education and training provider in the CBD. When I get a chance, I enjoy reading, cooking and bingeing on Netflix. Not a total party animal, but enjoy catching up with people for after work drinks. Move date is currently mid-April, but there would be some flexibility if the right place became available sooner. I'm friendly, neat and considerate, and I'm looking for flatmates who are likewise!
Hi, Looking for a place around Hornsby or <10km away. I'm a full time uni student, who also works. I live an active and healthy lifestyle. I'm usually busy during the day and then out with sporting commitments a few nights a week. I'm very clean, and respectful of peoples property and privacy.
I'm Chris, a 'young' 48 year old male, working in the public service. I'm moving from Canberra for a stint in Sydney until the end of June, but it could well go on. I'm laid back, easy going and like a laugh. I'm originally from the UK just outside Manchester. I love English football (I'm not a United or City fan), decent music (Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel, Eton John etc). I like a game of pool and a pint (or schooner) with friends. I will often be away at weekends visiting my kids and working in the city Mon-Fri office hours. Really just looking for a base for work for the time being. I'm not tied to a particular suburb, as long as it's a reasonable commute to the city. I don't smoke.
Hey! I'm a final-year university student currently in the inner west but looking to cross the bridge for the north shore until I finish my degree in November. I am a pretty quiet guy who will largely keep to myself whilst I try to study/binge-watch TV, but also happy to have a chat and be a generally friendly flatmate. Am also pretty handy in the kitchen (and will clean up as I go!) so there's that bonus. My girlfriend lives out of town so I will not be home on quite a number of weekends, but occasionally she will visit for a night in Sydney. Anyway, if you have questions let me know!
Hi my name is Michael and 29 years old. I'm clean and respectful of other peoples belongings. I like to think that I'm sociable, so I'll be up for a drink, chat or meal every now and then. I've been working as an architect for the past couple of years. Before that, I was doing internships in Europe and Asia. I'm quite handy around the house and would be happy to help fix things up.
I am student at UTS studying a double degree in Communication and International Studies. My background is from the gorgeous island country of Maldives though I have been calling Australia home for the past 12 years. I am clean and easy to live with. I like being organised, so that I am able to make the most of time. I enjoy going places I haven't been to and being able to experience the different cultures and opportunities they present.
Hi, I'm currently in my final year of my undergraduate degree in Psychology. Outside of studying and work I play football, tennis and go to the gym. I'm passionate about music, and have a keen interest in science. I'm clean, friendly, find enjoyment in making a home cooked meal and am looking for a place that not only makes it easier to accommodate for work, recreation and rest, but is a place that genuinely feels like a home.
I am an easy-going person. Friendly, love a good laugh and open-minded so there will never be short of fun conversations. I like my quiet times but also try to socialise on the weekend; love the beaches and great Sydney night scenes. I am multilingual; I speak fluent English, Bahasa Indonesia, Malay and very poor Dutch as my mother is Indonesian and my father is Dutch. Although, I am an Australian citizen now. Before Australia, I've lived around a few countries in my whole 20 years of life, in cities such as Jakarta, Bali and Singapore. So if you come from or have lived in any of those places too, we'll have great fun relating through them! I have one year experience living in a share house with seven other girls when I was up in Newcastle, so I understand the aspects of living together, sharing a home under mutual respect. At home, I am undoubtedly very neat and tidy with my personal spaces; I take very good care of my belongings and their surroundings. You wouldn't have to worry about mess or dirty dishes hanging around the house because I cannot stand them let alone live with them! If you have pets, I'll love them to bits. My parents are keeping my two dogs; Snowy is a Japoodle and Bruno is a pug. If you have a dog too, maybe we can bring them on nice beach walks on sunny days as mine loves it! I study Bachelor of Business/Bachelor of Laws in University of Newcastle, although I am taking a gap year just to work full time and build up my savings. In addition, at the moment I am working full-time as a barista in a French cafe, needless to say, your daily bread need is sorted. White, wholemeal, rye, sourdough, you name it. I usually bring home hot pies and cakes too! Although I always try to keep up a healthy lifestyle five days a week. The other two days I eat yummy sugars watching Netflix. So if you are up for a gym and Netflix buddy, I'm your gal :) Cheers! X Hana
Qing and I are are both easy going, all accepting lovers of life. I am a skilled massage therapist of over 13 years and Qing is a highly attentive part-time Yoga teacher and full time translator. If there are any health concerns for our family and friends, one or both of us will have ways to help (if we are asked), that said, if anyone wants to live an unhealthy lifestyle, we support that too! Life is meant to be enjoyed, what ever that means to you (so long as your not hurting anyone else). I'm also a mild adrenaline junkee. I used to ride motorbikes but one too many accidents has lead to interventions by my family and friends. So, I'm banned from motorbikes. Fair enough i guess, I always say "enjoy life however you please, so long as your not hurting anyone else", and it sure does upset my mum and a few others when I get busted up. So, trampoline parks seem to be my most dangerous activity these days. Qing is a very active (and very small) young lady with a thirst for knowledge and always keen for a laugh, even at her own expense (or mine). She will try anything once, but usually doesn't give up until her skills have been honed. She is a terrible cook, but her determination is paying off as her skills are improving. Her family owns a tea farm in China, so she can tell you all kinds of amazing things about tea. she also enjoys studying with Coursea, so she know all kinds of stuff about all kinds of things. She is also a talented belly-dancer. Her father instilled a philosophy quite deeply in her to never show off or try to draw praise, so she is very humble and unassuming, only expressing her knowledge when its necessary or if asked.
I am an full time student at Macquarie University. I am in my 20's and socially active person and enjoy networking. I do understand the importance of self space also living with me can be fun. I can adapt to change and am very accommodating.
I'm Artyom, moved to Sydney 2 years ago, got a full-time job in medical assistance industry (got transferred within my company). My work schedule is usually 3 on/3 off, 12 hour shifts, both days and nights. I currently work in CBD and live in Narrabeen but our office is moving to Macquarie Park in April so I'm looking for a new place closer to the new office. Tidy, hassle/drama free, love the outdoors!
I'm Hugo, I am a science/mathematics student at Macquarie. I like music, reading and talking. I have an IT background and work part-time. I'm really bad at taking photos (trust me my body language in that shot was pretty offputting), talking about myself out of context and my gym game is pretty weak. I have a pretty good grasp on what I need to get done over the next 2-3 months but I can adapt to most situations, (Defiantly message me if you have Super Smash Bros). I grew up on a farm so along really well with animals.
Hi, I am looking for a room to rent anywhere between Townhall to Hornsby. I work full-time and enjoy exploring Sydney when free. I love outdoors and watching sitcoms and movies. I am friendly by nature and wouldn't mind sharing experiences and dinners with flatmates. I respect people around me and expect the same in return. Kindly feel free to drop me a message if you have a room to let or looking to share a new apartment with someone. Thank you!
Professional single male moving to Sydney for work. I am clean, tidy, honest, trustworthy and used to living with other people. My interests are varied, am involved with the arts, design and architecture. Fit but certainly not a fitness fanatic. Good healthy cook, but diet includes, meat, chocolate, cream, wine, cheese and biscuits as well as veggies, nuts and fruit. Great gardener, fine furniture maker, and renovator. I have my own home interstate now leased and I seek a comfy room in a calm household.
I am a working professional who can speak Japanese, Mandarin and English. I don't party and am very clean and tidy. Looking for someone who shares the same values in keeping the place clean and quiet. Bonus points if you can speak Japanese.
Hi, I am looking for a team up to get either a 2 bedroom for $500-$550 or a 3 bedroom for $600-$700. I currently live on the northern beaches, but am looking to be closer to a train line for my work in the city. I am not home very often due to work and usually leave the house around 7 and get home at 8. However, when I am home I am usually pretty relaxed, however like the house to be clean and tidy. Happy to spend a night at the movies or watch a season on netflix with you. I have a boyfriend who will come around and help cook (and help pay for utilities if needed). I also have heaps of furniture from my past apartment and would be happy to help out where needed. I would love you to get in contact with me if you think we would be a good match. Kind regards, Georgia Rose Andersen
I'm looking for a place for 3-4 nights per week with the freedom to stay in town longer when necessary. I own a house in a small country town 2 hours north of Sydney but am now teaching film production at two universities in Sydney two days a week and look after my little grandson on the third day. I also own a successful film production company. I also have a beautiful very well trained kelpie x dog - older now (but not smelly) so no longer active at all. I clean up after her at least once a day. Bringing her with me is essential as my partner is working in NZ for the next six months. I'm a very clean and tidy person, I love gardening, enjoy cooking and good wine, am interested in world affairs and am secretly addicted to Netflix. I have two adult daughters and a small group of wonderful friends who mostly live out of Sydney.

My name is clare. A postgraduate psychology student who loves health, fitness and meeting new people. I've just started a new position with Northern Sydney Local Health District and will be working part-time across a number of different hospital sites. I'm friendly, social and house trained haha (just to clarify...I love cooking, am tidy and respectful of other flatmates & more than happy to help with cleaning etc). I always enjoy meeting new people but also respect other peoples space and privacy (we all need our down time to recharge!). I don't smoke but do enjoy a cheeky drink on the weekend. I'm looking for a property that has it's own ensuite/bathroom and although I love animals I'm allergic to cats. I enjoy the movies, theatre, fitness and experiencing different cuisines/restaurants in Sydney, in fact I'm hoping that whoever I end up living with would become a lifelong friend. Clare x
Hello! :) I'm Aaron - I came to Australia on the 14th of January and am looking for a more permanent living situation. I will be working for a small company in Tuggerah and am currently living near Bonnells Bay in Central Coast. It's way too isolated for me so I am looking for a flat or possibly a room in a shared house (but separate) to stay in near a train station preferably around the Tascott area or very close. I would prefer long term but short term is ok too. I'll just have to look for something more permanent eventually. About me - 29 year old American Male, clean, quiet, tidy, and respectful to my surroundings. I do my own chores and don't need someone waiting hand over foot for me :). I play guitar and love other musical activities as well.
