Hi guys! I have just moved over to Australia by myself from the UK on a permanent residency. I'm an occupational therapist. I am looking to be based fairly central eg West End, North Ward, Belgian Gardens. I originally came out to Australia in 2008 on a WHV and fell in love with the country so vowed to get back here one day- and I made it- yay me! I'm well travelled having spent approx 5 years working and living in NZ, Aus, SE Asia, Canada and Central America. I love keeping fit- it's very important to me. I go to the gym regularly, prefer to cycle most places rather than drive and practice ashtanga yoga. I'm very excited that there is an ashtanga studio in Townsville as its been hard to find one out of major cities in Australia! I lovveeee my food so totally keen on being shown some fine eateries in the area. Jen pro's :I'm fully house trained, clean, quiet, respectful and super approachable. I'm pretty hilarious if I do say so myself so that'll be fun for you, I am generally up for anything so any activities you've been meaning to do but no one to go with- I'm there, I'll introduce you to some awesome English music, I make really good overnight oats and healthy muffins which I might share. Jen con's: Well, I'm English so I am a whinger sometimes but its just in my blood, I will argue that "soccer" is called FOOTBALL- we created it guys, I'm not a morning person, I love vegging out watching love island and providing a commentary throughout, I probably wont be able to keep up with you Aussies drinking as I'm a lightweight. Please get in touch if I sound like your cup of tea.... Cheers for reading :)
Hi! I’m a 21 year old Townsville local currently at uni part-time studying English Literature, and also working 2 part-time jobs. Hours are usually set in stone, but are occasionally somewhat flexible. I'm usually spending time at the beach, studying, exercising (doing the Hill or gym), or just chilling out. I’m a very laid back person and happy to hang on the patio on a Friday arvo and socialise, but equally as happy to do my own thing if that's what you prefer. I do like to keep myself tidy and always try to clean up after myself an will happily help with duties around the house. You'll probably rarely see me without a coffee in my hand. I enjoy cooking, and occasionally make way too much food, so I’m always happy to share. Animal friendly and an absolute dog lover. 😊
Hi! I am a clean and busy person. I work full time in administration and have bootcamp commitments 4-5 days a week after work so I’m usually in an out :) (but I dont mind having a wine at the end of the day while bingeing netflix) I am responsible and my bills are always paid on time, i currently live on my own but have decided its time for company! I am not seeking a place until mid-end of January 2019 due to already being a current lease Looking to live with one or 2 people max, location isn't an issue to me however closer to Woolcock street is preferred.
Hi ! I'm Marissa and i'm a marine science student at JCU. My absolute dream is to move into a beautiful queenslander home and am looking for housemates to join me ! I'm currently looking at 3 and 4 bedroom queenslanders at price ranges of $320-$400 a week. Either to start renting over the summer or to begin renting start of next uni semester. Don't hesitate to send me a message if you'd also love to live in a big beautiful queenslander with polished timber floors and colour stained glass windows :')
My main residence is in Malvern East, Victoria, but I’m wanting to eventually move to Townsville. I’ll be visiting a lot so I’d like to rent a nice room/granny flat so I can easily visit Townsville . I’d like to be close to the hospital or Kirwan, but neither is essential. I’m super reliable, polite, sociable and very clean. If it’s a shared situation, I’m a good cook, I always do more than my share of house work. I always pay my rent on time. Basically I’m the dream housemate, I hand you money, and I’m not there a lot of the time. I do prefer sociable people, I’m very open and like to meet and hear different viewpoints.
I am easy going and bubbly. I usually keep myself pretty busy so won’t be home all the time. I am a teacher who enjoys a drink or two on weekends but I also like to have my own time every now and then. Looking for a housemate who is easy going as I move back to Townsville mid December. Would prefer a female housemate.
I am a 27 y/o student from Norway. I am gonna study at JCU taking my second year of my bachelors degree. Bisides my studies, I do like workout - at a gym, or more for fun; soccer/football :) I also enjoy meeting people and having conversations and learning new things. If it is food involved, it must be a win. I consider my self a very tidy person, respectful of others. I feel that I am easy to talk to, so if there is any problem - it won't be a problem for to long :) I believe that communication is key to everything.
I'm an responsible 18yr old and I'm not a party animal, I'm currently looking for full-time work in the hospitality industry, I'm shy at first but once I get to know you properly I'm pretty outgoing. I've been on and off the streets for the past 2yrs but I'm trying to just stay in one town so I can get the help I need with my mental health.
Hey! The names Horacio but I generally go by Ratio, it's easier to say and remember :) I'm multiracial but typically go with Filipino/Portuguese (and Aussie of course! Born and bred). I'm originally from Melbourne where I worked as a Biomedical Engineer before I moved to Cairns for a new job (same occupation)...then work moved me to Townsville a few months later so here I am! I love life but have probably only unlocked like 16% of it. I really need to travel and experience more. My hobbies include exercising (took a while to forcefully make it fun but I got there), tennis, basketball, reading, movies, tv-shows, socialising, and petting dogs. That's all :) Oh wait, the cute doggo in my pic is my family doggo back down in Melbourne so you can't get a 2 for 1 deal with me sorry :( my older sister has 2 doggos so I'm super great with them if you have any!
I am a Master's student who will be in my second year, primarily doing research at AIMS. I am clean, quiet, friendly, and enjoy cooking vegan food (plus don't mind sharing!). I enjoy working out, so a lot of my time is spent at the gym. Looking for flatemate(s) that are clean and mature and people who are down to hang out and have fun but also respect when it's study time.
I'm looking for a place or someone to team up with to find one. I'm a nursing student at JCU and work part-time. In my spare time I'm either at the gym or binging on netflix. I am clean and tidy and will respect your privacy but I am also happy to socialise. I'd prefer to team up with someone/people and find an apartment or something along those lines
Hello! I am a mid-twenties woman looking for accommodation in the Townsville City/Strand areas. I work in hospitality, so am out of the house most weekends. When I am home I love a good Netflix sesh or chilled dinner and wine. P.S. Although I love animals, the turtle is not mine!!
I'm a 21 year old girl from Norway, taking a bachelor degree in bioinformatics. I will be at JCU for a semester this spring, and I'm looking for a great place to live while I do so. I would say I'm a social and easy going person, who is always up for some good fun and a new adventure.
I'm the most easy going person you'll ever meet, and also nice and tidy! I'm from England on a working holiday visa but I'm working full time long hours so I'll be out most of the day but looking for a place where I can relax - but also hoping to meet new people and hopefully make some friends! I like all sports, fitness and generally being active as well as meeting new people.
I’m a 25 year old full time shift worker. Im looking for an unfurnished room but would also be interested in teaming up at a new place. I’m a package deal that comes with two dogs, a Labrador and a mini dachshund. I’m looking for a place close to the CBD/North Ward. It would be awesome to share with someone who also does shift work or who is understanding of it. I love socialising and am always up for a drink however also enjoy time to myself!
Hi, I’m Dave. I work full time in banking/finance. Spend 1 in every three weeks away at the moment. And mostly every second weekend I will be travelling also. Looking for a simple arrangement. I’m new to townwville so won’t have people around as such and love a fairly busy lifestyle, so I won’t be in your way.
I’m a very relaxed and friendly person to live with. Enjoy my own space but happy to socialise as well. Very tidy and respectful to the home I’m living in and to who I’m living with. :) Also have an indoor cat named Lou, she is very sweet :)
