Hi! We are Sergio and Maria, we are both studying Master's Degrees at the University of Melbourne. We are 27 years old and have been together for 8 years (we don't have kids). We are from Colombia. We are both professionals with 4 years of experience in our fields; Maria Paula is a Lawyer and Sergio is a Software Engineer. Besides studying, we will be working part-time. We love diving and photography. We also enjoy travelling (specially into nature).
I'm a first year student studying Psych and Criminology at University of Melbourne. I'm into video games, anime and TV shows and if i'm not doing any of those, i'm probably studying or sleeping. I'm also really into art (drawing and painting). I'm super easy going, clean and I'm happy to hang out and have a chat or watch a movie every now and then. I can also speak Japanese (which is pretty cool imo). I'm currently living in a share house with 4 other people and I get along really well with my current housemates. I leave on the 20th June to visit my family in Queensland and I'll be back on the 22nd July - I'm hoping to be able to move in when I get back. I'm not fazed on whether or not a place is furnished, and I'd prefer to stay around 4/5 months, as I start Uni holidays and head back home mid/end of November. Any suburb within a 30 minute tram/train ride from Uni/CBD would be fine for me. My max budget is about $170 - $180 with bills included. I dont own any pets, however I'd like to move into a pet friendly household as I was hoping to get a bird or 2 in the near future. I may have my 2 bffs or my parents visit me for a holiday, so I'd prefer housemates that are cool with that. Cheers
Hi, My name is Oliver Muller, I am a pretty relaxed and social person, I have lived in many share houses before and always get along with housemates. I am considerate and tidy. I work full time, and will often be out on weekends.
Hi, I am Neshal, a 27 year old graduate student at the University of Melbourne. Currently I am staying about an hour away from uni. The commute is taking up a lot of my time and also stopping me from attending quite a few activities at the uni. So I am looking to move to a place closer to uni, ideally within 20 mins of the uni by bike. Move date would be sometime during the semester break in July as I have to give 3 weeks notice. With all that out of that way a little bit about me. I am respectful of other people's lifestyle choices and routines and like to be around others who are the same. I am quite relaxed and easy going. Covers my share of chores around the house. Non smoker. Likes to stop and have a chat with my flatmates. I have an inclination towards motorsports. But never one to shy away from involving in a sporting or social activity. If my mates are doing it, I'll be in the middle. Cooking is a hobby. If you don't mind tasting a random bunch of stuff thrown together as an experiment, usually quite edible, I am your guy. I have lost a lot of battles with baking but I am hoping to win the war someday.
I'm a 21yo female working full time in Melbourne CBD in a contact centre for banking/financial services. Im a tidy person who always cleans up after myself although not a crazy clean freak so I really don't mind if my flatmate isn't super tidy just not a complete slob. Generally I keep to myself and happy to do my own thing (other than working I spend a lot of time sleeping and just chilling in bed), but also always down to get dinner/ubereats together some nights because who doesn't love food?! I tend to spend most nights and weekends at my partners apartment, so looking for a flatmate who wouldn't mind if he were to visit or stay over once in a blue moon/very rarely. Would love a flatmate like-minded and who can respect each other's alone time but also someone I can see as a friend and not be total strangers. My current lease ends 8th July so looking to move by then or around that date.
Hi there, I am looking for a new apartment to live in and take out a lease with one other. Looking for a small share with one other or a couple and an ensuite. I like health, fitness and cleanliness and I pay bills on time. When I am home like to feel like I am home, and prefer to be around some trees or near a park! I am currently finishing some Post Grad studies and I work freelance. I have references and a rental history and all furniture if needed - but fridge could need updating! prefer 2 bed/2 bathroom - NO DRUGS of any kind. Thanks :)
Im a friendly, compassionate, kind hearted soul that tries to see the best in everyone even if it is hard to do so at times. Nursing student at ACU, currently on gap year to find work and take some time for myself. Happy to keep to myself reading, listening to music or playing games when at home. I have no issue with parties or people being over but not looking for a party house. P.s the rent budget is set at 160 for a reason. Please dont send me messages about your rooms on offer if they are more then that. Thanks :)
I'm French and Australian, I'm 17 years old, and I'm going to be studying in Melbourne starting end of July. I speak fluent French and English, and am learning Spanish and Chinese (Mandarin). I'm very fun to live with and can get along with anyone, I can be very interactive and present, or more discreet and quiet according to your preferences. To be honest I'm not an extremely tidy person, but I know how to keep my mess in my personal space. I'm pretty chill and can get on board with whatever activity for fun. I enjoy cooking, listening to music, watching movies and just walking around the streets of any city. I also love trying out new DIY projects such as decor or yummy food. Hit me up if I seem like an ideal future roommate to you!
Hello future flatmate! My name is Julie but everyone calls me Liana. I am 21 years old and work full time in the city as a receptionist. I moved to Melbourne a couple of months ago from the Philippines. I moved and travelled around a lot growing up so I'm a bit of a wanderer and have a million stories to tell. I am a huge foodie, so I love eating out but also love cooking for others (so I might just cook for you too! I suck at portion control). I like to stay in most of the time and watch things on Netflix but when I do feel like going out, I go all out. Well.. That's me in a nutshell. I hope to meet you soon!
Hi, my name is Tessa. I am a 29 yr old female, Australian. I will be studying engineering full time at Melbourne Uni for the next 3 years and need accomodation. Also work part time as a nurse. I prefer a relaxed environment to live in so I can easily study at home. I am usually a very sociable person but will likely be very busy with study during uni semesters. I am easy going and open to suggested cleaning rosters etc..
Been living in Auckland for the past year now coming back to Australia for university at RMIT; going into a BA of Photography. I'd say I'm a fairly chilled person. I also play the clarinet and have been for ten years, that'll be coming with me. I don't smoke or have any pets, just myself, clarinet and small collection of cameras. I am not the go out and party ever night kind, I'd rather say in or go out somewhere nice with a couple of friends. So I won't be throwing any huge parties. I am looking for a room in Melbourne with fantastic flatmates. Only visited Melbourne a few times so I don't know my way around but am ready for a new city and new people.
I'm Kane, I'm a 26 year old Zoology graduate who works full time at telstra at the moment. I'm extremely tidy and have been living with housemates from when I was 19. I'm looking for something long term as my current housemates are getting their own places. I'm very considerate of others and clean up very diligently, love to head to a good bar but also like to chill at home as well. Would love to find something awesome out there :)
I'm a student that's moving to Melbourne soon and looking for somewhere to stay. I'll be studying my JD at Melbourne Uni so am looking for somewhere close by or with good public transport options. I have lived in share houses before and am easy to get along with!
I am currently studying at Unimelb and also working part time. Besides being busy with the uni assignments I love to hang out once in a while and have a chit chat session over a glass of wine! Also, My friends say I am a great cook! :D Let me know if I sound like your perfect flatmate!
I'm a 20 years old international student just arrived in Melbourne from China. I'm staying in a YHA ATM and am keen to find a single room, preferably furnished about 10km from the city as I would like to commute to the CBD by bicycle. As a housemate, I do not smoke, drink or party excessively. I am looking for a quiet home where I can contribute my skills, for example fixing small problems when things not working. My Australian friend says I have a good sense of humour. In my spare time I like to exercise, read and watch movies, particularly sci-fi (I have over a thousand blockbusters and popular movies in my collection).
Hi I am Damien 37 from Tassie, I work as an early child hood educator and after school carer but looking to get into teachers aide work while I work on my passion of writing pun jokes. I am quiet but funny , I love to have a good laugh or at least make people laugh . I love AFL and sport in general , I am looking forward to watching the bombers play . Anything else you would like to know feel free to ask.
Hi, my name is Ajay and I am a full time student working full time hours. I am currently studying business at Vic Uni and work most evenings. I am a very clean and tidy person and love to socialise being fully aware that everyone needs their own space. I prefer to live outer city suburbs (or cbd). I am a very easy going person and would also be interested in teaming up for a new lease.
I'm a 36 yo Melbourne girl looking for a place inner city/inner west. I study fashion/modelling online and dedicate most of my time to my greatest passion, fashion. I also receive the pension from Centrelink so I am reliable with rent and bills. I'm easy going, respectful of others and friendly. I also am clean and tidy. My hobbies are listening to music, dancing, going out with friends, good food and I love nature, animals and spirituality. Im social but also respectful and enjoy some peace and quiet at home. I hope to find someone I am compatible with and share some interests with, just basically someone mutually respective and clean and easy going and down to earth.
Hi there! I'm Kimberley Fernandes, a 25-year-old Indian whose first language is English. I'm a student of the Master of Social Work program at the RMIT City campus. I'm currently living in Preston, but looking to move closer to the city or Fairfield, where I will be doing my industry placement next semester. Preferences are a private room in a share house in inner suburbs, preferably Fairfield, North Melbourne, Brunswick, Moonee Ponds, Pascoe Vale, Flemington, or Coburg. Some more about myself: I'm moderately outgoing but respect (and appreciate) privacy, enjoy meeting new people and having fits of laughter, beer (thank you, Australia!), and try writing in my dormant blog whenever I can (or act upon that surge of inspiration in the dead of the night). I've worked as a print journalist in India, and am a bit of a word nerd. I've lived in shared accommodations for the past 5 years, and have thankfully been blessed with roommates who, to quote Luna Lovegood - I'm also a Potterhead! - are just as sane as I am. I'm still figuring out how to cook, so I don't spend ages in the kitchen because I mostly eat pasta, sandwiches or stir fried veggies. However, I am non-vegetarian, but am happy to use separate utensils. I'd appreciate you giving this a go, cheers!
I'm a full time Vet Med student whose looking for a sharehouse with chill vibes which I can retreat to at the end of the day. I'd love some friendly flatmates to share the occasional meal with or perhaps even a bottle of red once in a while. I'm smack bang in the middle of Uni which means most of my evenings are spent with my head in a book and Saturday nights mean watching 'If You Are The One' on SBS (a guilty pleasure) as opposed to heading out for a big one. I come with my best mate Charlie, a 10 year old Spoodle X hot water bottle who is a heckin' good doggo. He doesn't shed hair and is pushing into his old man days so is pretty snoozy too. He is currently on a diet, though we've been saying that for years. Hopefully you will love him.
Hello! I've just moved to Melbourne after having spent the last decade split between California, Finland and Germany. I am searching for an affordable, furnished or partially furnished room in a flat or house share. I'm flexible with regard to rental length as well, whether something shorter or longer term. Something from mid-August would be ideal. I've been nearly freezing to death since arrival (welcome to Melbourne, I know), so a place that can be properly kept warm would be great. I translate and edit professionally, so I am occasionally around at home to do that, although more often than not I'm out and about working or exploring. I'm increasingly involved in music production and web design as well professionally and for myself. I like to play ice hockey and music (with headphones at home, with amplifiers elsewhere ;)). I'm quite interested in politics, science, tech and the world at large. I am tidy, responsible and quiet. I'm happy to socialise with housemates, and it's nice to catch up for a meal together and to be able to chat. I enjoy cooking and baking a bit. I don't have pets or kids, am consistently employed, and can pay rent/bills/bond on time. I'd prefer to live with people who don't smoke indoors as I don't smoke myself. I am bilingual (German/English) and happy to practise my increasingly dodgy Finnish and French. I am somewhat flexible with regard to location so long as good public transit connections are nearby, as I do not own a car (although I am after a bike here soon :)) and am fully at the mercy of Melbourne's trains, trams and buses for now ;) Looking forward to hearing from you, thanks!
We are a young easy going, fun, polite couple. We both work full time - Renee is a Store Manager in Armadale and Jason is a service advisor in Epping (both working long hours). We are both massive foodies and enjoy socialising when we can. We are clean, tidy and respectful. We are available to move out as of now. If you would like to know anything else please do not hesitate to contact us :)
Hi, this is Eddie from Taiwan. I'm 27yrs old engineer works in IT and as a freelance translator. I'm easygoing and tidy, always down for a bit of banter. I'll be studying in melb later on this year, currently looking for a place to stay from the 4th of June up to three months stay. If u still have a private room/single studio apartment, a parking spot(street parking is fine) available, please let me know and hopefully we can organize a viewing soon. Cheers! And no couples, thx!
Hello, my name's Josh! I've been couch surfing in Melbourne for a month after moving interstate from NSW and would really like to settle down and find a permanent home. I'm a first year science student studying full time at Monash Uni. I'm a friendly, easygoing, sociable guy but am also respectful of others' privacy and while I'm up for a chat I also enjoy some downtime like anyone else. I realise the responsibilities involved in living with others and am a very clean, tidy and reliable person, contributing my fair share to ensuring the place is in good condition and rent is paid on time. Lover of all animals and would be totally down to live with pets of any kind. Am open to living with any and all kinds of people but would prefer to live with other students or people around my age. As I'll have uni nearly everyday it's quite important that public transport is nearby, and it would be especially amazing if I could find a place close to the Clayton campus. Also open to start/join a group of others looking for housing - send me a message if you'd like to know more about me or if you have a room available and thanks!
Hey there, my name is Ligi, a 23 yrs old Taiwanese girl, going to study master in RMIT this July, looking for a private room which is close to city, probably around 20 mins to CBD by public transport. Move in date will be around 10-13th July, and my max rent is 850 a month. Looking for a place that could be called home and chill& share things with my housemate when we're free after work or uni. Im a pretty low key kinda housemate, very respectful of personal space :) Not a huge social butterfly, like to keep to myself while at home, and do all or most of my socialising outside the house. Always pay my bills on time and very tidy. A pretty non complicated housemate!
Hi! My name is Richard, I am 25 years old and originate from England. My partners name is Ciara, she is 23 years old from Ireland. For the past four years we have called Darwin our home where we have been lucky enough to gain permanent residency. We decided that it was time for us to move on from Darwin and start a new chapter in Melbourne. We are currently living with family about an hour out of Melbourne city and are looking to move into shared accommodation with like minded people. We are friendly people who enjoy socializing and keeping active. We are currently looking for full time employment, I am a fully qualified horticulturist and Ciara works in office administration. We also have a small puppy, she is 2 years old and her name is teddy. I am sure she could use a doggy pal!
Hello there future housemate(s), I’m Sanjit, a 23-year-old, currently completing my masters degree in food science at University of Melbourne. I’m very reliable with rent and other bills (can provide references of previous housemates). I’ve lived in many share houses before so I know the drill! I’m hygienic, clean and tidy! I’m very chilled out and laid-back (so much so that I’m almost horizontal) and hope to find similar easy going and open minded housemates. Looking to rent a place for a minimum of 4-6 months and can extend it if it works out fine. I’m a very sociable person, love going out for food, drinks, movies and would love to find a chilled out place to call home. I also respect everyone’s privacy and will not be constantly pestering you haha. Since I'm completing my Master’s degree, I’ll be pretty busy during the weekdays at Uni but I’m always keen to chill on the weekends. I do part time research work at uni and also involved in contract work with few food manufacturing companies relating to quality assurance and microbiological safety. I love watching and playing soccer! (GO Manchester united!) I enjoy scuba diving, longboarding and am now looking into indoor/outdoor rock climbing. Also enthusiastic about patting dogs and watching funny dog compilation videos. I’m an avid music listener! Love rap, hip hop (artists such as Kendrick lamar, Eminem, 2pac, Biggie, The underachievers, Joey badass, J cole etc), classic rock (Pink Floyd, Guns n roses, Aerosmith, The beatles, Jefferson airplane, Creedence Clearwater revival, The rolling stones, Eric Clapton, Queen etc), Electronic (Flume, Nicholas jaar, Odesza, Pretty lights, Eric prydz, Bassnectar etc) and sometimes when I’m feeling classy, I’ll hit up some Wolfgang Mozart (what a ridiculously cool name) or Bach. So if you love music, I’m sure we will get along!! Also, I have a pair of headphones so you don’t have to worry about me blasting loud music. Also down to binge watch movies and tv shows. So, if you think we’d get along and would like to team up or you have a room available in your house, hit me up! Hoping to move in around the 27th of june (plus or minus 1 week or a bit more is cool) Send me a message if you think we'd get along. Hope to hear from you soon :)

Hi. We are a young married couple looking for a place to live long term. My name is Michael, I'm 27, originally from Sydney. I work as a cabinet maker but am making a change into a recruitment role, I'm a part time DJ, I love music, food, games, movies, football, going out for drinks and have a great sense of humour. My wife is Reggie, 23, from Canada. She works full time as an early childhood educator. She loves music, food, cooking, and is a very friendly and easy to get along with person. We are both neat and tidy people. We love to socialise but will respect your privacy. We have a 4 month old ridgeback x american bulldog puppy and he means the world to us, so we're kind of a package deal. His name is Peanut and will put a smile on anyone's face. If we seem like a good fit then please get in touch with us! Thanks.
Hello! So a bit about me... :) I work at the Arts Centre, I'm studying to be a teacher and I'm also an actor. I like cooking, reading, going for walks, living and eating as healthily and ethically as possible, watching TV, movies and theatre and spending time with friends. I'm looking for a house with people that are up for a chat and a hang as well as happy to do their own thing. I also like to keep things neat and clean and want to share with people who are the same. If you have something that sounds like this I'd love to come and meet you! I'm usually free at various times throughout the week and weekend - let me know when suits you? :) Looking forward to hearing from you! Celia.
Hello :~) Im currently looking for somewhere to live for 6 months to 1 year, my lease ends early June so a move out date the closer to then the better. Somewhere with easy access to public transport and close to the city would be perfect! I currently live out in Melton and work full time at the Department of Health in the city so the travel is super tiring and hard especially on a Friday afternoon when all i want to do is get home :( Other than working all week i spend majority of my time in my room chilling quietly on my pc binge playing video games with friends or watching Netflix. I like to cook, am very tidy and also respectable of everyone else's privacy. Ideally i would like somewhere small and cosy and to live with someone who i can also be friends with, being a socially awkward nerd like me is a huge plus :~) I have a lot of furniture/appliances so whatever you/we need as i'm moving out ill bring along and the rest will be put away or given to my current flatmates. Please feel free to message me or go for a coffee or a drink or 5 sometime and get to know me, thanks in advance!
