Hey, future bestie! I'm an international student at the University of Melbourne, with major in Construction Management. Pure Armenian raised in Russia. Have lots of cultural backgrounds to share! Passionate about languages, now speaking English, Armenian, Russian and currently learning Spanish. My life goal is to speak 10 different ones. I consider myself as mature, hard-working person. Always clean up everything after myself and respect others. I believe that my freeness end where another persons begin. I am easy going and positive, with high hygiene standard. Sometimes need time for myself though (kinda introvertish) I love European food, exceptionally crazy about Italian... mmm... lip-smacking! Recently fell in love with the Indian and Chinese kitchen as well. Also, I could sell my soul for a good apple cider or vine, not an alcoholic though:) Oh, btw, I have an awesome red motorbike, so grab a helmet and hop on the bike for a windy ride! If you've read till this point and think that we share common values and interests, I would be happy to share living space with you! I'm looking for a place for at least 6 months or more (1 year or more). Feel free to drop a message!
I'm a full-time student in unimelb now, major in construction management. Friendly and good at cooking ( especially for traditional Chinese dishes!) I will clean the room and the public area every week and clean bathroom every times after taking shower.
I'm a pretty neat, quiet Australian guy studying engineering on-line I have a degree in applied science (chem), and 11+ yrs experience as an electronics tech. I'm a bit handy with computers, and fixing some stuff around the house. I enjoy an occasional glass of wine/beer, a chat about politics/economics/technology/society..., video/board/card games computer programming, and maybe a little bit of gardening, but largely keeping to myself. (Yes, I'm a bit of a nerd.) I'm fine with pets. - Sam
Hey there! I'm Mavin from Malaysia. I am doing a BSc degree at Melbourne University. I'm a fun person, super sociable, very open minded and i love a good laugh. I know and understand the importance of respecting the privacy of other people and more importantly (to me at least), the cleanliness of the places i use. I'm also really responsible and an early bird on days that I have classes, even more so when exams are around the corner. I love dancing, yoga and cycling. I try to keep active and wish i never had to sleep. I'm looking for a place to move in by the 27th of June, a private room preferably. Send me a message if you think I'm suited for your listing. :)
Hi! I'm Sara, I'm a 31 years old doctor from Italy coming to Melbourne to do a period of my residency (in psychiatry) abroad. I'll stay in Melbourne up to six months and I'll mostly study and work through the week but still enjoy a few drinks and a laugh in my spare time!
I’ve recently moved to Melbourne from NZ. Im a nurse. I won’t have a car when I move to Auz so I’m looking for somewhere super close to the Royal children’s hospital where I’ll be working. I’m chill. Clean. Respectful. Always pay rent on time. & good banter
Hi there! :) I am a health-professional looking for a long-term accommodation. I have done a fair bit of travelling and living in shared accommodation over the years and truly appreciate sharing space with nice folks. I am respectful of your personal space, very easy going, and looking forward to a clean and comfortable home to come back to after a long day's work. I do not drink or smoke, but always love cider-fueled conversations over a lazy weekend. Depending on the weather and my work schedule, I would head down to the beach and try to catch some dinner. Otherwise, I might be in the mountains for the snow during the winter months. Please drop me a message if I sound like a decent housemate to you. Thanks. Sito
Hi! I'm a happy, outgoing 23 y/o Danish girl, looking for a place in Melbourne to call home from July to November, as I'm going to be an exchange student at UniMelb, Parkville! So preferably close to either uni or cdb (or both!) As a current housemate w. 60 American students, I love being sociable, having movie nights, brunching (apparently, that's a verb now), having a cup of coffee, going out for a couple of beer, throwing a great barbie, or just hanging out - you name it, I'm down. That said, I'm also a big fan of personal time and respect that everyone need their privacy (myself included). Aside from that, I'm tidy and clean, I'm quite, I loooove animals (all kinds!), and I think it's really hard to describe myself. But I'm GREAT! I Promise! Really! As a bonus, I can cook and teach you naughty words in a language that only a few million people in the world would understand - preferably not at the same time, but hey, I'm flexible!
Hey y'all. 24. Graduate engineer. I keep my head down during the week, but generally am a chatty fella who loves to get amongst it on weekends. If you're looking to fill a room or want to team-up, shoot me a message! Keen to arrange a meeting asap. If you're one of those that keep their tomato sauce in the fridge, don't bother. Ta.
Hey, Vishaal this side. I am a full-time masters student at unimelb. I am a tidy person and someone who loves to keep everything clean around. I m a quiet person, not a party animal but cool with socializing and having small chats. Looking for long term and will move here in July.
Hi all who might be taking the time to read this! My name is Ignacio, a 25 y/o guy from Chile, but hey, please keep reading! haha I'm currently doing my master's in Information Systems at Melbourne Uni, and I'm planning to spend also a couple of years in this city. I graduated from a public university in Chile in Organisational Psychology, and then I worked as an IT consultant for a firm based in Toronto. As I was awarded with full graduate scholarship, I decided to come to Melb to start this new chapter of my life. I usually spend my free time biking around the city, and visiting new cafes and bars, if not a park -depending on the time of the day-. I also enjoy cooking at home, as it allows me to save a lot of money as well. At home, I'll be usually seen either studying, cleaning the kitchen -yeh, when it comes to that I usually clean after myself immediately-, or having a good chat with my future housemates while enjoying a glass of wine. I'm quite well house-trained as I've been living with flatmates for some years now both at home, and abroad, with people from different nationalities, so I'm also pretty flexible and chill when it comes to get to know each other and their different habits. As a Chilean, my mother tongue naturally is spanish, but I have been speaking english also from a very young age, as well as working (and studying a bit) for a couple of years now, so communication won't ever be a problem. I'm hoping to find a place with a very good balance of respect for privacy and space, but also socially open. I wouldn't like to end up in a house where people live together just to share expenses. I'm actually after a more homy kind of feel. If my profile seems like a good fit for your houseshare group, please don't hesitate to shoot me a message as I'll be looking forward to receive them! If there's anything else you'd like to know about me, please feel free to add your questions! I'll be open to having interviews and inspections, as I'm willing to take as much time to make sure I find the right place as I'm planning to stay long-term. Thank you for taking the time to review my profile!
Hi! My name is Liam. I'm a tidy, sociable, outgoing, and fun-loving young adult! I am arriving in Melbourne on May 30 from Auckland, New Zealand! I am looking for a decent flat on a permanent basis some time around the beginning of June. I have been working full time & flatting since I was 17. I will be continuing my work as a sales consultant in Melbourne the week following my arrival! I would prefer a room with at least a bed if possible, as that makes it easier. Though I'll consider a completely unfurnished room as I can buy a bed. I am Air BnBing my first week or so to do flat viewings, and I am flexible at this point to make other arrangements, etc. Cheers!!
I bring a few things to the table, always keen for a beer. Usually up for a night out and definitely up for road trips...hello Lorne. Im in my last semester at Uni and im really just looking for a comfortable place with some people who dont mind letting their hair down on the weekend. I also work part time at TNT express in the airport week day evenings
Hi! I'm from Adelaide. I moved to Melbourne on February this year to start a Masters degree in speech pathology at the University of Melbourne. I also work part-time as a teacher’s aide. Unfortunately my contract in Kensington is ending in August so I’m back on the search for a room. I'm hoping to find a friendly, warm sharehouse near the university with housemates that value their privacy but are interested in getting to know each other and hanging out. My passions in life are sleeping, reading, patting dogs, street art, and Maccas runs. I studied linguistics in my undergrad degree and am really interested in languages. I really enjoy travelling and have been lucky enough to study in and visit different places in the South Pacific, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. During my travels I've stayed with a bunch of different (sometimes weird) people in a bunch of different (sometimes weird) places, so I'd like to think I'm pretty easygoing and able to get on with people. :)
Hi I'm Angus. I've just moved to Melbourne from Adelaide to work as an analyst in a consulting company. I'm 25 years old, tidy and easy to get a long with. In my time off work I like to exercise, have a cutla schooners with mates and study Chinese. I'm looking for a room in a share house, preferably with 1 or 2 other people. I'm pretty flexible with my preferences for amenities and I'm down with hangs and occasionally sharing meals etc. I'm a pretty open dude but don't want to live with anyone hardcore left wing. Looking for someone like-minded and prefer other's with professional roles that won't be rowdy at night (I need lots of sleep :| ). I've got a lot of furniture and utensils (couch, fridge etc.) but I can get rid of them if need be. Also prefer a bedroom with built in wardrobes that can easily fit a queen bed. I'm willing to spend MAX $250.
i am a law student who also works part time between work and uni i am not really home that much but would still like to move into a fun, chill, easy going atmosphere looking for somewhere for the mid to long term
Hey! I'm Mads, and I'm looking for a new place to call home. Super gutted to be leaving my current house and housemates, but since changing universities I'm finding the commute is just too far. I'm looking for a place near the University of Melbourne, where I'm currently studying my Masters of Management (Marketing). I'm interested in both team ups, and existing houses, but really no further than 15-20 minutes PT from Melbourne Business School. Definitely leaning towards apartments at this point, but open to anything. Looking to move mid-year, after exams. I'm obsessed with Harry Potter and I have a Simpsons gif for almost everything. I love post-hardcore music, and when funds aren't low, gigs are my favourite pastime. I also sing in the most apathetic band in Melbourne, and pretend to play guitar and piano. But I'm a total dork. Kingdom Hearts, Pokemon, and books, man. BOOKS. Also pretty damn into makeup. You've got to be when you've got no eyebrows. I'm not much of a casual drinker, and red wine is gross, but the 6 or 7 times I go out a year I do love to get absolutely wasted. Apart from that, I'm super boring and spend most of my time watching netflix at home. So, living with me : I'm a super social and friendly chick, but I do love my own space. I'd probably rather pay a little extra for a nicer place. I like my communal spaces kept CLEAN, but I wouldn't say I'm neat freak. I'm not necessarily looking for best-friends here, but I like to live with people I can chill with. My current housemates (2/3 from flatmates) are the bomb.com, and are seriously some of my favourite people in the world. So you know. No pressure. I own a good sized fridge, a washing machine, a dining table, outdoor setting, and maybe a couch, all of which I'm more than happy to contribute. I have a car, so do need a space for him. Ideally looking for locals in their 20's, male or female, who don't smoke inside (do what you will outside), and who are clean and friendly. If you fit this bill, hit me up!
Tidy, pay rent/utilities on time, mostly keep to myself, but do enjoy occasionally watching shows or playing video games with others
Hi, potential house/flatmates :) I am a positive, social and very active 24 Year old who is currently undertaking a Bachelor of Nursing. Don't let the title of student deter you, I still work part-time and previously worked as a Finance Consultant before returning to study. Enough about my background as a flatmate I love Art, Music and reading combined with a cuppa but I will also binge watch Netflix. I am extremely tidy (bed made first thing everyday kinda guy) and love a clean kitchen and bathroom. I don't discriminate, I enjoy the company of all people :) but I am also content on my own for those who like privacy. Outside of the house, I'm probably out for coffee or dinner with friends, if not I'll be playing some kind of sport, cycling or surfing. I couldn't be more honest than whats written above ^ any questions please feel free to contact me and check out my social media pages.
Hi Everyone, My name is Niketa and I have been living in Melbourne for almost a year and a half. I am originally from Toronto, Canada. I am a full-time 2nd year student at Melbourne Law School, and also work part-time as a Paralegal in the Melbourne CBD. My schedule usually revolves university and work meaning that I am not home very often and if I am it's usually in the evenings and/or weekends either studying, relaxing (sleeping) or socialising with friends. I am currently living with two flatmates and I understand the importance of having a balanced approach towards others. I would consider myself to be a very social person; I love engaging in conversation, meeting new people and acquiring new knowledge from other people's lived experiences. At the same time, I also like my alone time when it comes to relaxing and studying. Besides law, I am very passionate about cooking, dancing, music, and cycling. In the attempt to be wholesome, I try to attend dancehall/reggae dance classes on a weekly or fortnightly basis. Also, I love to cook and try new dishes. I am from a Caribbean background so I try to incorporate traditional dishes into my cooking as well as more standard 'student' dishes. It would be great to live with other students and/or people with similar interests and schedules. I also prefer a private room with own bathroom or ensuite. Looking to move in mid-June 2018.
