Hi! I’m a sculptor by profession currently studying psychology at uni melb and am self employed. I’m looking for a spacious room, which gets plenty of natural light as I have a lot of plants. I’m primarily looking in Brunswick/Fitzroy. I’m happy to go on a lease. I can move in any time before the 29th December, ideally I’ll like to move in the 22nd. I cook couple of times a week, love cooking for others and I’m good at baking desserts. I mostly eat vegetarian food and trying to reduce my negative impact of the environment. Im not a party person, but I socialise as meaningfully as I can, love having people over for dinners. I’m mostly a morning person ( that being said I’m really quiet in the morning ) My schedule is a bit flexible but Im usually busy with uni, or working on art projects , swimming, reading, practising arhatic yoga. I come with a decent collection of books, a nutribullet for the kitchen, a quirky sense of humour, and a good listening ears. I enjoy my personal space, but I don’t want to live like complete strangers, I would prefer to get to know each other a bit. I love being home proud and consider myself to be very tidy and organised, and an open communicator. Ps. Please Excuse my typos, if there are any ( I’m hopeless at fixing them). If you have pets thats an added plus for me. Ive fostered many animal over the years, so i'm quite good with them.
Hello! I am looking for a place to settle in to longer term with some house mates, keen the emphasise the mates! I'm 26 and I work full time in the public service. I'm pretty quiet during the week but love a drink or a boogie on the weekends. I'd say I'm firmly on the social end of the housemate scale, but I'm very respectful of personal space too. I'm originally from Tassie, but have been living in Melbourne for about 6 years now. I'm very chill, pretty in to politics and footy but can keep a lid on it if that's not your thing. I love capybaras and and full of obscure animal facts, which I tend to be less successful at keeping a lid on.
Hi, My name is Lachie. I bring with me an adorable little Chihuahua named Sandy. She's incredibly gentle, not yappy and loves some affection. I'm very respectful and do shift work. I'm also keen to be social in my spare time. Love my sport and also like to have my own space at times and give others peace and quiet too. I clean up after myself and I am very low fuss. Coming from a share house which felt like home so would really like to find that again. My length of stay is a little unpredictable as I'm on long waiting lists to transfer with work, however I should see out 6 month lease. Keen to hear from you ☺️
My brother and I are looking for either a place or potential teamups for Melbourne for jan 2020! We are looking at either somewhere we can BOTH stay or looking at getting a 3 bedroom place so need a third person to split with. Our budget is as cheap as we can make it each ideally, so we can have good internet and more food 😂 My brother and I are very different kinds of people but we get along well with pretty much everyone. My brother is an avid gamer and reader so he spends a lot of his time with that. I like to dance, watch movies, have a laugh and will be taking some language classes as well as working, so two very different schedules. My brother doesnt party and if I feel the need I go out for my revelry😂 If we are able to, we have a cat that may move with us, but if not its no biggie, he has a happy home. We dont expect you to hang out with us a heap but it would be great if we could be mates and have fun living in a new place. We are looking to move to Melbourne in january in time for my brother to start his post grad diploma in late feb, so if there is a place to suit our needs or someone who wouldnt mind living with us hit me up!
Hey mates, I'm a neat and independent person who minds her business most of the time. Exercising, reading, cooking and cleaning are my regulars when I'm home and you'll find me doing these very often. Apart from this, I study post-graduation and do part-time work. A positive and easy person to be around. You won't be disappointed. Thanks Regards Divya
Hey there! My name is Steff. I just left cold Germany and moved to Australia :). I am very easy going and warm hearted and looking for a place to call home. I enjoy going out and exploring nature, connecting with people and good food, of course :D I love conversations about life, psychology, music and nature, as I am a biologist. I am a very clean and considerate person who is respectful of personal space and also appreciates having a glass of wine or dinner together. I will be working full time and will stay in Melbourne for at least 8 months. (I am not a backpacker.) I'm looking forward to meeting you guys :)!
Hi, I'm Savannah, a 27-year-old student from Sydney who will be coming to Melbourne to study my honours project in Neurogenetics at the Murdoch Children's Research Institute in Parkville. I've lived in sharehouses for nearly 10 years so know how to respect the space. I'm usually quiet during the week and like to go out to rock gigs on the weekends. I am creative and like to make clothes, paint and make homemade soaps when I have the time. I also do casual modelling on a freelance basis with a couple of agencies and work in before and aftercare at a school in Newtown (SYD) at the moment. I have a partner, Matt, who might come and visit from Sydney sometimes and two cats who won't visit but I'll probably show you a hundred pictures of them - sorry in advance I just think they are the cutest two creatures to ever walk the planet hah! I'm looking for a casual and friendly space where I can meet some new friends, maybe have a casual wine and chat, but also have the space to study when I need to. I will need to be in Melbourne before the 10th feb so wid-late January move date is best but I am flexible. I would likely stay until the end of 2020, maybe longer if it's the right fit (and available) and I decide to stay in Melbourne after my project is finished. Preferably northside suburbs.
I'm Ben, 26 years old, I am going to be completing a Masters degree at the University of Melbourne. I will also most likely be working part time. I am a very outdoorsy person but also love indoor activities such as cooking, reading, and gaming. I am generally a quiet but very goofy person. I have a very wide array of interests and can find something in common with most people. I prefer hanging out with small groups of friends with over a drink or watching a movie (or both!). I will be coming to Melbourne from the United States.
