I'm a 29 yo veterinarian and I've just recently moved back to Australia after travelling around the world for 2.5 years. I'm looking for a place to call home! I'm laid back and I am generally considered very clean and tidy. I have one very friendly 7 yo collie X called Deni who is predominantly an outdoor dog (good behaviour guaranteed by a vet!). My long list of hobbies include: photography, painting, sketching, yoga, krav maga, welding, woodworking, cooking and trying to learn Spanish. If you think we'd make amazing housemates or want to teamup, please get in touch!
Hi! I'm a law graduate who recently got back from overseas work and travel. I'm friendly, cheerful and positive. I enjoy being outdoors, yoga and reading. I'm a great housemate because I'm tolerant, considerate, tidy and open minded. I like living with other people, I enjoy socialising, however, I also understand the need to respect others space and property. Plus I always pay rent and bills on time :) Looking forward to meeting you soon!
Hi! I'm a Masters graduate working part time at a fun jewellery shop in the CBD while I save up money and organise a visa to live and work in the UK. I've lived in Melbourne since 2009, apart from the recent 6 months I spent travelling Europe. In my adult life I've lived in three seperate sharehouses with a number and variety of housemates. I'm a very neat and tidy person, always cleaning up after myself, and I prefer to live with people who are the same. I've also done a lot of housesitting, so I'm a bit of a professional when it comes to keeping house. I'm pretty quiet and don't like hosting parties, but I'm more than happy to be social when the focus isn't on me and/or when I have somewhere to retreat to (I'm not super anti-social but I'll admit to being a little shy if I'm not in the right mood). I'm not a fan of dogs but I like all other pets as long as they're happy and healthy. I'm also keen on gardening and keeping pot plants. I'd strongly prefer not to live with people who smoke at home.
I'm Lydia, I come from China. I'm 24 years old. I studied English language and literature at colleage, now a full-time student doing a master at the Melbourne Uni. As a flatmate, I'm an easygoing , clean and always up for a chat. I want to be friend with my roommate but respect private space as well.
I am a student studying at RMIT, working part time as a Software Developer in the city. Like hanging out with friends, going on long rides on my bicycle and love having small chats. Always on the lookout for fun and enjoying life.
Hi! I'm Taner, I'm a very active and outdoorsy person, I cycle, climb, play tennis and a bit of soccer and other activity I can join. I also like time indoors, with board games, a doco or movie, books or practising spanish. I've lived in share houses before and know how to be clean, tidy and respectful, and can be handy when it comes to fixing things or gardening. It would be nice if the house is a friendly one where there are (ideally meat free) shared meals and other social time and where the occasional visitor or couchsurfer is welcome. Let me know if you have any questions. Cheers :) Ideal housemates would be active and happy people who like to socialise, have a few drinks, that join and suggest activities, and who are responsible enough to clean up any mess they make.
Wanting to move into the cbd long term for work (adidas) and uni (RMIT brunswick fashion campus commencing 2018). fashion/business student to be, super outgoing but also love privacy and space at times! love going out clubbing, bars, fun places, so would be awesome to have someone who enjoys similar things - or a few dranks at home is ok! I want flatmates who can be friends and fam, as i love hanging out together and supporting eachother as friends do. I am respectful and quiet when need be, but naturally have an extroverted personality. I like things clean and tidy, but this is definitely excused on the hungover morning afters :) Obsessed with all things netflix, beauty, makeup, fashion, rnb/rap, FOOOOOOD 🤤 I consider myself a creative person, so i would love likeminded individuals. Sagittarius ♐️ I would prefer my own bathroom, but it’s not necessary. A car space would also be preferred. I like modern, sleek looking places! If sharehouse, i would need an unfurnished room as i have my own belongings. I am looking for a female sharehouse/flatmate(s)/to team up with. Since i love the chic sleek look, i would prefer a team up as we have more control over finding a nice modern place and get to go through the fun of decorating! Pleeaaaaaase don’t hesitate to shoot me a message, i would love to chat further with anyone interested 💕 all the love xo (I know my thing states “no smoking and no pets”, but i am not phased by either - especially pets xx)
Hey there! I'll be moving to Melbourne next year to study Architecture at RMIT. I currently work casually in an architecture firm up in Canberra, barista part time with an incredible group of people, and enjoy reading and banging out sketches in my spare time. I lived in Melbourne until I was 10 years old so I can still find my way around (with a little stumble here or there), I do enjoy spending time with friends and consider them my family, but I also enjoy a few quiet minutes for myself. I promise you I keep things tidy and clean and will never be opposed to helping out around the house whether it be cleaning, cooking - so long as there's a recipe involved, tidying or even yard work. I make a phenomenal cup of tea and can wrap someone in a blanket to go with it if needed when you're down or sick, I'm always up for a little fun and laughter, but I'm also more than happy to give people their space as needed to. I'm stoked to be moving back to Melbourne and I hope I can find a home with some groovy people to start off the new year with, I look forward to hearing from you!

Hi all who might be taking the time to read this! My name is Ignacio, a 25 y/o guy from Chile, but hey, please keep reading! haha I'm moving to Melbourne to study my master's in Information Systems at UniMelb, and I'm planning to spend also a couple of years in this city. I graduated from a public university in Chile in Organisational Psychology, and then I worked as an IT implementation consultant for a firm based in Toronto. As I was awarded with full graduate scholarship, I decided to come to Melb to start this new chapter of my life. I usually spend my free time biking around the city, and visiting new cafes and bars, if not a park -depending on the time of the day-. I also enjoy cooking at home, as it allows me to save a lot of money as well. At home, I'll be usually seen either studying, cleaning the kitchen -yeh, I'm a bit of an OCD when it comes to that, so I usually clean after myself immediately-, or having a good chat with my future housemates while enjoying a glass of wine. I'm quite house-trained as I've been living with flatmates for quite a few years now both at home, and abroad, with people from different nationalities, so I'm also pretty flexible and chill when it comes to get to know each other and their different habits. As a Chilean, my mother tongue is naturally spanish, but I have been speaking english also from a very young age, as well as working (and studying a bit) for a couple of years now, so communication won't ever be a problem. If my profile seems like a good fit for your houseshare group, please don't hesitate to send me a message as I'll be very looking forward to seeing them. If there's anything else you'd like to know about me, please feel free to shoot your questions! I'll be open to having long distance interviews/calls from now, and for inspections starting from the third week of January. Thank you for taking the time to review my profile!
LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO TEAM UP WITH IN BRUNSWICK Hey! So my name is Sarah and I’m 23 and working full time. Due to work I’m looking to live closer to the city and am looking for people interested in teaming up! I am looking at fairly big places and am happy to pay extra for the master etc Bonds are fairly expensive so I am looking at signing the lease with whoever I find and splitting that cost :) I already have a fair bit of stuff like a couch, fridge and whatnot I am needing to move by mid November for work. If you’re interested please message me!
I have been living in Auckland for the past year; now coming back to Australia for university at RMIT and will be going into a BA of Photography. I'd say I'm a fairly chilled person. I also play the clarinet and have been for ten years, that'll be coming with me. I don't smoke or have any pets, just myself, clarinet and small collection of cameras. I am not the go out and party ever night kind, I'd rather say in or go out somewhere nice with a couple of friends. So I won't be throwing any huge parties. I am looking for a room in Melbourne with fantastic flatmates. Only visited Melbourne a few times so I don't know my way around but am ready for a new city and new people.
I am from India and am in Melbourne for 4 weeks to spend time with my daughter who studies here while also using the opportunity to volunteer part time. I work in the area of International Development. I like my personal time and space but also love to spend some time sharing stories of my various travels around the world. I am a bit of a stickler for cleanliness.
Hi, I recently moved to Melbourne from Singapore. I am starting a part-time job near Docklands/Harbourtown and would be looking to stay somewhere nearby. I am clean and tidy.
Hey! I’m Daisy, I’m 32, originally from the UK but in Australia on a working holiday visa at the moment. I’m currently working in Docklands as a web designer and looking for a place to lease until I leave around April next year. I'm a super clean, tidy and considerate housemate and excellent bill payer! I’m a friendly introvert, also LGBT so you gotta be cool with that, veggie (but not shouting about it), foodie, non-smoker, heavily into movies and TV, love my music and going to gigs when possible, always up for a Netflix night and trying new restaurants or bars or trivia. I drink but usually only socially while out. Where I live tends to be a place to take some quality downtime so I’m looking for an adult flat, with like minded individuals to share with and chill out.
Hiii I'm Kirsty, A laid back kiwi who's moving from Brissy very soon, Im Single, social but keep to myself as well, don't mind a beer or 2, But I enjoy my alone time as much as the next. I'm moving for a change of lifestyle and Scenery until my next adventure overseas.
Hi there, I’m looking for a place to call home not a room to rent. I’m easygoing, always up for a friendly chat and try my best to get to know my housemate because there’s nothing worse than an awkward conversation 😬 I work full time in the financial services industry and like to come home and just switch off. I’m house trained and I like to keep everything around me clean and neat. If you’ve got any questions please don’t hesitate to ask :)
Im a really chilled person, love relaxing and watching stuff on my computer, im always studying and working so i tend to spend most of my time with that. Alround clean and tidy, so no need to worry if i clean up after myself or not. I love dogs and meeting new people is a plus too.
Hi, I'm an easy going young professional looking for a nice comfortable house share situation. I am clean, respectful and quiet (although always happy to have a chat, share a dinner, have a drink or watch TV together). I work fulltime and like to get out and about on the weekend. My hobbies include running, yoga, gym and general outdoor activities. I am looking for a furnished room. I have been transferred temporarily for work to footscray for 6 months Looking forward to hearing from you Cheers, Caitlin
I am an international student from Indonesia who will be starting my postgraduate course at the University of Melbourne early 2018. I am neat and tidy, and respectful of personal space. I love pets and going for nature walks, as well as spending some chill time at home or checking out that new brunch place in the area!
Hello fellow Melbourne residents! We are 2 Sydney natives, starting university in Melbourne in February 2018. We are 20 & 21, studying Science & Arts, well travelled and cultured. I have lived with housemates before so I understand and respect general house rules. We are both clean and we generally keep to ourselves unless we feel comfortable with company. We are regular drinkers (unfortunately) and occasional smokers. We plan to study full time and work part-time, with the help of government welfare so there will be no financial issues. Here are a few of our favourite things! 1. MUSIC - we're huge music fans, a few faves listed below: - The Contortionist - Balance & Composure - Karnivool - Erra (and many more but I don't want to bore you) 2. Movies, favourite directors include - Christopher Nolan - Guillermo del Toro - Quentin Tarantino 3. Travelling, some of the cities we have visited - Lisbon - Seville - Bordeaux - Seoul - Berlin 4. FOOD - our travel is just an excuse to eat as much as possible. We love learning to cook and already we have drastically improved our culinary skills. We are meat eaters but try to maintain a vegetarian diet as much as possible and generally save meat for weekends or special occasions.
British born and raised, been living in NZ for the last 4 years and now moving across the pond! Easy-going and social, enjoy cooking. Will be working as a doctor but hours won't be too crazy!
Hi other Flatmates users! I am interested in starting a team up between myself and a few other nice, outgoing females (aged 18-26) to look into getting our own (relatively cheap) place together and to set it up the way we would like to! I will be moving from Wagga Wagga, NSW to Melbourne around that start of January next year to study a Bachelor of Fashion Design! I’ve had a few offers just figuring out where I would like to study. Looking for some girls who are like minded, either studying or working (or both!) to move in with around that time. I am extremely keen on setting up our own place and making it ours rather than going into someone else’s home, who I wouldn’t know and to feel uncomfortable living under their roof and using their things. I have already got a fridge, washing machine, outdoor setting, kitchen utensils and some appliances and cookware. A little bit more about me... I am an 18 (nearly 19) yr old girl who loves to chill, do regular exercise, I cook and clean around the house all the time and like to socialise with friends as well as get a bit arty and do some painting in the evenings and on weekends too. I also am working flat out full time atm trying to save as much money as I can right now to move and to be able to set myself up in a place I can call my home! Please let me know if you’re interested. I would love to have a chat and see where things could go! Thank you :)))
House-proud, clean, social, respectful, communal furniture, team ups only. discussed in more depth below. Hi All, I'm Andrew, A 29 year old Disability Support worker. I value friendly, courteous, mature people who are proactive in self development and considering others and the environment around them. I am very house proud and reflect this within my ideals of cleanliness, which is centred around the idea that we clean up after ourselves in communal areas after use and maintain our home and furnishings to a high standard to reflect how proud we are of our home. Living within the home I respect my fellow housemates by doing my best not to disturb them while sleeping or relaxing. I enjoy time together in communal areas as much as time to myself in my room, whether it be sharing dinner together, playing a boardgame or simply having a chat while we occupy the same space. I enjoy sharing the good and bad parts of our days and offering each other inside from a third person perspective. I consider housemates as family. I'm looking to start a home home with people who are like minded and encapsulate the above. My hobbies within our home would be playing video games, cooking, gardening, completing handyman task, the occasional dinner party or board games and relaxing on my bed. My leisure pursuits outside the home usually consist of Cultural events, visiting friends to play video games or watch movies/tv shows, lasertag, assisting friends with renovations, camping, going to the beach and a range of other random activities. My work as a Disability and Aged Care Support Worker sees me working weekdays and weekends assisting people to develop and maintain a value of life they aim to achieve. This involves me cooking or cleaning for people, assisting them to access the community or teaching them skills to live their lives as independently as possible. I have all the basic furniture and appliances to furnish a house. This includes an l-shaped grey couch, a hexagon shaped table, rugs, a large one door fridge, upright freezer, large front loader washing machine, tv and more. Most of these are only a year old. Thank you for reading my profile and feel free to send me mail if you think we reflect similar values and could create a great home together.
Friendly, respect and fun. Love socialising with my housemates for a wine or dinner but also like my alone time too. I have a three year Cocker Spaniel who is the love of my life so dog friendly places only please. I have a stable, full time job in finance which I have had for several years. You will never have to worry about rent being paid late etc. I have a house full of furniture and appliances at the moment which i am happy to bring along to my new place if need be otherwise this can be put in storage. :)
Hi! I'm a 23 year old Canadian and a recent uni grad with a degree in Political Science! I'm easy going, approachable, and usually down for a chat or sharing a meal but can totally respect when people need their own space to decompress and relax so can be pretty quiet too :) I'm not much (if at all) a party person and I don't smoke and hardly drink so you won't see me drunk and stumbling home late like... ever haha. I do enjoy fitness, travel, rnb, karaoke(!!!), binge watching bad reality TV on Netflix, podcasts, going to concerts, hunting around at opp shops and vintage places, and exploring new food joints around the city. I'll be working retail during Christmas so I expect I will not be home too too much during the week. Weekends I could be working, going out east to visit family, or just chilling. TLDR: I'm super cool, super funny, and super sweet! I can probably make you laugh like 3 times a day... maybe more like 2 (but still quite impressive). I hope this little blurb was helpful to get to know a little more about me! But if not, please feel free to message me with any other questions you might have! :)
Looking for a place to stay for 3 months possibly more. I have a pet cat hence a house with either balcony or yard would be preferable. I also own a car so parking is required.
Hi my name is Alex, just had a change of circumstances and need to move ASAP! I am a 21 year old full-time student studying Education at Victoria University Footscray Park. I currently work at JB HIFI in Maribyrnong and will be spending most of the summer working. I am not a party animal but I am friendly and social. As a tenant I am very tidy and clean all my dishes.I am looking for a place with wifi and access to public transportation. Pretty urgent so I hope to hear from you soon!
Easy going, friendly and very chill person. I like to keep my things organised and I have previously shared my house with others for a long time. Polite and reliable. :) I like to keep myself busy, even in a day off I love going to a park, gym or the beach.
I'm from Melbourne and looking for a place to live for the summer and maybe longer. I work full time in government but also considered myself quite the traveller and have backpacked around the world solo. Love to meet new people and consider myself fairly easy going. I'm fairly active and independent so won't be home too often. Although when I am home I'd love to hang out sometimes! I'm vegetarian and not bothered with those that aren't long as it's a two way street. I drive everywhere so am looking for a place with free car parking. I would also like my own room (hopefully something with some closet space!) and live with a maximum of two other people. Let me know if you'd like to know more :)
Low key during the week, happy to cook and share meals, gravitate more towards couch potato than gym bunny, love a clean and tidy house. Work full time Monday to Friday, out and about quite a bit on the weekends. My home is usually my retreat so I'm respectful in terms of noise and having guests over. I have a ragdoll cat so am after a pet friendly house. He has always lived with other cats, but no experience with dogs. I'm after an *unfurnished* room, large enough for a queen bed :)
Hi. I'm Andres. I'm a student who works and has great characteristics to share a place with: responsible, tidy, clean and friendly. I like cooking, doing exercise and getting to know new people. In my spare time, I go to the gym, spend time with my partner, socialize with my friends and enjoy cooking at home. If you are looking for someone reliable with rent and bills, I am that guy. I am looking for a room for myself close to a train station or tram stop preferably, can be furnished or unfurnished. No smokers, please. Cheers.
I am coming to Melbourne on a working holiday visa and I am going to stay for 2 months. I live in the UK but I am originally from Finland. I work with race horses in England and that is also what I am going to do in Melbourne. I am a sociable person who likes going out and experience new things. I am often in the pub or in a nice restaurant on a weekend where I like to hang out with friends and meet new people. At home I like to have it clean and tidy around me, I wouldn't be the one who left their dirty socks on the kitchen table! Jokes aside, I am well aware of the thrills and spills living in a shared house since I've done it before. I love hanging out with my housemates over a nice dinner or in front of the TV but do also like a bit of privacy when I'm in that mood. Looking forward to Australia and Melbourne, give me a text if you'd like to be a part of my big adventure !
Hi All, I am currently completing my postgrad honours research and unfortunately my lease runs out at the same time my thesis is due (mid-October). However, I'm not ready to leave Melbourne yet. With plans to move interstate next year to co tiny my research in a new lab I'm in need of a temporary home from early October- January/February. In addition, I'm a part time medic and an enthusiastic gym goer who competes in IFBB figure. I enjoy a solid banter sesh over some wine and cheese and will always ensure there is a cookie jar full of freshly baked goods.
