I am a mature student of audio engineering with great present and past references. I am responsible, respectful and laidback. I shall always pay my share (in advance where appropriate), I shall always respect your privacy and property. I am clean and tidy, therefore I always clean after myself. I am an ex-chef in Turkish and Mediterranean cuisine so expect to dive into home-cooked delicacies once in a while.
I'm an easy going person and enjoy spending time with friends, hiking and tennis. I am from Adelaide originally but am moving to Sydney for full-time work after graduating from uni. I will be physically in Sydney, looking for places, from the 5th of February onwards. Looking forward to exploring Sydney, and hoping for something located within a reasonable commute of the CBD. Just a note, Huw is pronounced the same as Hugh (Welsh spelling)!
We are two girls from Norway, studying abroad at Sydney uni, and have already been living in Sydney for 6 months. We are clean and respectful roommates who like to get to know other people and be social, but we don't go out partying all the time. We love traveling and meeting people from all over the world (and of course aussies).
My friend and I are studying at University of Sydney on a Study abroad program from Norway. We are looking for a place to stay near the University, preferably in two private rooms, but can also share. We are easy going, clean and respectful. We love to travel, explore and meet new people.
**LOOKING FOR 2 PRIVATE ROOMS ASAP (Near USYD and Train Stn)** Hello! My friend and I are making the move from Perth to Sydney and we are looking for a place to move in together (2 private rooms) around the suburbs of Redfern, Surry Hills area. I have a job in line working at Westmead's Children's Hospital, whereas my friend will be commencing Postgrad med at USyd. Being close to a train station would be ideal. We are super outgoing, friendly, chill and relaxed, and would love to make new friends. We would like to live with someone who is friendly, open-minded and who we can do things together, as well as respecting each others own space. We also like a flatmate who likes to be clean and tidy, trustworthy and considerate. Any more information please feel free to contact me. Here's to hoping it will be a smooth transition to the East!
Chinese student looking for a place close to USYD (with walking distance)to finish my bachelor degree. clean, tidy and responsible. Love photography, music and cooking. looking for like-minded person to share a room/house.no party I’m quite friendly and easygoing : )
Moving from Melbourne to Sydney for work in economics/finance. I'm tidy, reliable, generally pretty laid back. I like to keep busy but also like my downtime with a crossword and always keen for a couple of wines. Hit me up if you have a room or want to team up!
I have recently graduated from Victoria University in Wellington, New Zealand and I am moving to Sydney to start a new full-time job as a software developer. In my free time I love to play sport (volleyball, netball, tennis) and play music (tenor saxophone, though my workplace has a music room so I will play it there!). I would be keen to join a flat that enjoys spending time together. I have lived in multiple shared houses in the past, so I am used to living with others and helping to look after shared spaces. I am looking for a room that would ideally be less than an hour's commute to Darling Harbour, where I will be working. Although I'm not moving until the 28th of February, I would be open to securing a place and paying rent earlier than this date. Looking forward to hearing from you! Thanks, Hannah
I am recent USYD Masters grad, now working full-time at the university as an IT professional. I have been in Sydney for 3 years now, originally from Delhi, India. An outdoor fanatic, so you'd find me indulging in hiking, rock climbing, beach hopping etc on the weekends. My weekdays are pretty packed with work, but I do love socialising during the evenings after work. Well, I love globetrotting, ideas, curiosity, exploration and adventures. I like to start things, be it companies, initiatives, causes - and then love the adrenaline rush that comes with it. I have had the absolute pleasure to have globetrotted solo to cities like – New York, San Francisco, Dubai, Los Angeles and Shanghai to name a few. I love connecting with new people, hearing about interesting ideas, and their stories. I have shared houses in the past, so I am well adept with maintaining clean shared spaces and kitchen areas. I am looking for a single room (fully furnished) in the inner city suburbs, preferably closer to the University of Sydney, and looking for a 1+ year lease. Looking forward to hearing soon or potentially teaming up to lease a place together. Thanks, Kritika
We both pride ourselves on being pretty conscientious and are very clean. (I am pretty clean but Erez is anal haha) I love to garden and will have herbs and chillies growing wherever I go. He (Erez) works as an associate lecturer at USYD, and loves board games, rock climbing, and food like me! I'm a hospitality expat having moved into marketing/communication. We've moved down to Sydney from Brisbane because Erez got the job at the uni and I've come down to join him! We both really like to live in places where everyone pulls their weight but know how to enjoy living together and are actually interested in each other! I adore cooking and would love "family" dinners wherever we end up eventually. Hopefully we sound agreeable! Oh and important disclaimer learned from ghosts of share houses past, we aren't hoarders, smokers, or food wasters!
My name is Sam and I'm a 28 year old, Australian female working professional. I work in IT in the CBD as a software tester. I've lived in share houses for over 10 years. I'm clean, a non smoker and not a party animal. I'm looking for a share room, up to $250 per week, with NO BUNKBEDS, MAX 2 people per room and that's within a 30 minute walk to 201 Elizabeth st, please send me a google maps link of the walking directions and tell me a bit about why I should consider joining your share house. OR My own unfurnished room within a 10 minute walk of Ashfield Station. P.S. I will also consider places within a 20 minute cycle of 201 Elizabeth st I recently broke my ankle (I fell off a wall doing indoor bouldering/rock climbing) and I'm non weight bearing until March (basically on crutches/knee scooter). I can move in sooner but it would be very hard for me to do so. I currently live in Ashfield and I would need to give 2 weeks notice before moving. I ride a motorbike, if you have parking available for it that would be an added bonus. I like to bake, brew beer and make things. I value sustainable living and could get behind a community vegie garden. I play trombone and could also get into a swing dancing or a swing band. Why would an Aussie gal be looking for a share room? Basically I want to live close to work and get on top of my credit card debt. I hope to hear from you soon.
My name is Ashish Kumar, from India, and I have been in Australia since 2015 as a student. I recently graduated from the University of Wollongong and am looking to move to anywhere in Sydney. I was working part-time in Wollongong until last month but now I am looking for a job and an accommodation in Sydney. I am fine with teamups. I would like a clean and tidy place. I am non-smoker and teetotaller. I don't have any pets but I like them, especially cats.
Just some young guys from Italy, who appreciate good laughs and cultural exchange. We're polite, clean and positive-mind, just like momma raised us! We just moved in australia with WHV, looking forward to work full-time and spend the rest of the free time by having fun and enjoying the great australian weather. Also, all 3 of us can cook and we can do it great! Italian dishes are garanteed with us :)
Hey my names Tuana and I'm from the UK. I'm moving to Sydney in February and need a place to stay! I will be working full time having already been offered a job in Sydney. I will be working for Purplebricks estate agents based in Surry Hills. I'm clean, tidy and easy going so hoping to find accommodation with other like minded people. Please only message me if your in Surry Hills, Darlinghurst and redfern
Hi! My name is Estibaliz but everybody calls me Esti :) I am a 24 year old girl who comes from Spain. I am friendly and easygoing and always up for a new experience. Last year I lived in Perth during a year and a half; the first 6 months as an Au Pair and then in a sharehouse. But that wasn’t the first time I lived abroad; I also stayed a year in Germany where I shared a flat with other students. So I am pretty used to meet new people and understand and respect others. Now it is time for another change, and Sydney has always been in my bucketlist.
We are looking for a place to rent ideally from 9th Feb 18. Weare a really friendly couple from Manchester in England, both in our first year of our WHV. We love to socialise with friends, cook/eat, be active, daytrip whenever possible. We are very clean and tidy people and would treat oufuture place like a home. We are both working full time, easy going, reliable and trustworthy. We are ideally looking for a nice clean place that's close to CBD. Please be our new flat mate😇
I am a French student and we decided to move with my boyfriend in Sydney on the 2nd or 3td February. I will finish my studies here and he will have an internship of 6 months. We are really open minded, enjoy share time with each other and meet new people. We are also very respectful of each other space and clean.
Hi future flatmates! We are two Hungarian friends – Zita & Bori - coming to study in USYD from the middle of February. We would love to join your houseshare if you live in a big welcoming community! We are okay with sharing a room, but the best would be to have our separate ones. We both have experience in flatshares, we are social and laidback. We do not like to be bored home, we are into having fun all the time; no matter if it is a bbq, a museum, hiking, going to the beach together or whatever. Our budget would be around 200 - 300/w/pp. Preferred areas: Sydney CBD, Surry Hills, Ultimo, Chippendale, Darlinghurst and Potts Point
Hey! I'm in my mid twenties and will be new to Sydney in Feb. I have found a few apartments close to the University of Sydney that I would like to inspect with my future roommate or we can compile a list together to inspect. I prefer 2 rooms with ensuited bathroom. Let me know if you are keen on getting to know me and potentially teaming up. I am a friendly, clean and easygoing person. I am pursuing a masters at USYD and possibly teaching part time, but would fancy good company to grab a drink with occasionally or a yummy brunch (which ever you prefer ...or both) I am respectful of personal space and am easily adjustable. Since I’m not from around here I would love to make some friends so if you’re looking to keep to yourself at all times that may not be what I’m looking for! Pop me a message if you’d like to have a chat and know a little more. xxx **Please only message me if you are female and are looking to sign a lease for at least 1 year starting mid-feb!**
I am returning to Sydney to study Forensic Science at UTS. I am friendly, quiet, not a home partier, however not averse to going out into the big bad city and having a good time. Non-smoker, enjoy music, reading, swimming, starting to get back into gym, so if you're looking for a gym buddy then bonus :). I also enjoy cooking, and while my repatoire isnt overly broad right now, I do find I perform well when presented with a new recipe. For work I am currently a Pharmacist, I do locum work all over the country, as well as the city, so there may be times I'm whisked away to some remote location in rural Australia to help out somewhere. I love the job as it lets me flexible about where and when I work. I love to travel, have been overseas several times now, most recently went on a round the world trip including Hong Kong, London, New York and Los Angeles. Did TopDeck in Europe in 2015 and loved every second of it, I hope to get to do that again sometime. I am tidy (ok I've been a bachelor for a while so I may sometimes leave some clothes on the floor of my bedroom lol), but rest assured all common areas will remain tidy after I've used them, I am very respectful to the needs of others, I won't play loud music, and depending on work schedules won't come trapsing into the place at random hours of the night. For fun I enjoy seeing shows, reading a good book, checking out the sites, Netflix, and good conversation over a drink.
