We're a couple - Cameron, M, 28, Kiwi & Nicola, F, 25, Brit - who have recently moved to Sydney from Auckland. We both have full time work already (electrician & journalist). We're pretty social but also enjoy doing our own thing too. Typically, we'd have fun at gigs and bars but we also like getting out of the city and finding new places to visit for the weekend. We've lived together in a shared house for years (without any problems!) so we know what to expect and how to be good flatmates.
I'm a New Zealander in Sydney. I work in an IT company in the CBD. I don't know sydney that well and at this stage I'm open to any location that would allow a 50 minute (from door to door) commute to Kent street (my office is near the corner of Kent st and Erskine Street). Currently looking at somewhere off the train line on the north shore on a quiet street. So I can walk+bus to a train station and then catch a train to Wynyard. Personality wise, I am mature, sociable and very considerate (this is most important ) enjoy having a healthy balanced lifestyle. My hobbies include: cooking, exercise, Japanese language and spending time in nature (sun/parks/beaches ) , gardening and silence. Weekends I like to sit in the sun/go to a beach/meet friends. I am not a party/noisy person and i don't want to live with people who are. My NUMBER ONE priority is a place to sleep that is QUIET. Not located near a noisy street/shop/neighbour and also internal quiet - living with people who also value quiet in the evening from 9pm onwards. I am quite sociable and would like to live with people who i can chat with but need quiet for rest/sleep. My office has showers so Monday to Friday I sometimes shower there before and after work which means no rush in the morning if we are sharing a bathroom. I also have meals with my job so don't really use the kitchen in the evening, however i sometimes do a cooked breakfast. Other notes. Do not intend on buying a car so parking space or garages are not necessary. No drugs/smoking. Would like a location that has a quiet room, laundry (washing machine + dryer/outside place to hang clothes) and good outdoor space, with professional people. Perfectly fine with pets. especially cats. I am happy to give out information such as facebook profile or LinkenIn Profile via message so you can find out more about me. I can also provide a range of references in New Zealand.
Hey, im a pretty easy going guy, pretty sociable. Spend most my weeknights doing some kind of physical activity (soccer/gym) and then open to most things on a weekend. From England, working in Crows Nest for a Media Agency. So looking for somewhere close enough that I could walk if i wanted (open to 30 mins walk haha).
Looking for a place for 6 months from the 1st of December. I am looking for a private room, please. I will be working full-time and going out few times a week so will not be around too often; I respect your privacy. I am responsible but love to be sociable and have fun. Happy to help out with cooking (I love cooking) and chores. :-)
Heya, Some background story: My flatmate had left a few weeks ago & I took over the existing place to try to find a new flatmate. But since the place is little far from the station & not many people are interested to move in, I decided to move out. I'm specifically interested in team-ups because I've got the furniture with me(sofa + beds + fridge + washing machine + kitchenware + dining table). And I don't want to sell them away, so it'd be great if I can find someone who's interested in teaming-up wherein we could find an unfurnished apartment & move in with our furniture(it's fine if you do not have any). Must Haves: * Own/ensuite bathroom * On/Off street parking as I have a motor bike with me. About me: I work full-time as a Software Engineer(Web developer) in Surry Hills. I'm sociable, pretty laid back & more of an introvert to be honest. I am into fitness & so I cook regularly. I don't mind having a chat after dinner, I respect the privacy of others. On a typical weekend, I'm doing (one or more of the following things) * Exploring Sydney through my drone * Doing some photography * Watching/Going some movie * Going on a long drive on my motorbike * Programming some fun things related to computer graphics. * If my motivation kicks in, I end up practicing some guitar I'm looking for someone who is sociable, fun person & who is looking for a long term accomodation i.e. at least 6+ months. Even though I've selected few locations as preferred, I don't mind any suburb which falls under 12KM radius from Surry Hills.
Hi I'm Dan, a teacher originally from the UK. I'm searching for a furnished room in a friendly, clean shared flat/house to move into in September. I'm sociable and it would be good to get to know new people :) I like to cook, go for walks, watch movies, swim, try to dance salsa, and am up for anything that will get me on the path to physical fitness. But also a bit of a foodie and like the occasional good wine or belgian beer. I've not surfed, dived, or climbed, all of which I'd like to try.
Hey I am looking for some fun, friendly and clean housemates to live with. I'm happy, outgoing, house-trained and well travelled, I also lived in Melbourne previously for two years and now in Sydney . I'm working full time in Sydney CBD and I like to keep fit and eat healthy but everything in moderation. It'd be great if we could share a glass of wine/watch a movie/cook dinner/all that kind of stuff, but I am also busy doing my own thing sometimes and respect privacy of the housemates. Let me know if you think we could get along. Cheers , Dee
Hi! It's Jun, a 27 year old female working in strategy consulting. Have been living in Wollstonecraft for the past 3 years but unfortunately have to move out as the place is getting sold. I am looking for a room around lower north shore, closer to train stations preferred. A little bit about myself. I've studied and worked in China, Japan, Australia and the UK. Depending on projects, I sometimes travel a lot. I enjoy tennis, travelling and hanging around with my friends during my leisure time. Love bush walking and being out and about. I am a tidy, clean and easy going person.
I'm Shaun, a security consultant working on the north shore. I'm reserved and work-orientated. After 5:30 I don't mind a couple of drinks and good conversation, but generally you can find me quietly studying or reading a novel. I'm looking for a 6 to 12 month lease with quiet and laid back flatmates.
Easy going, sociable housemate. Im clean and respect peoples personal space and belongings. Im very reliable with rent and bills. I work full time as a dog groomer and from the uk. I love going to food and wine events, movies, beach, walking and reading
Hi there, Emma here, I am 20 years old and work full time in Wynyard. I mostly keep to myself and am often out of the house, but when I am home enjoy watching movies/ reading and a bit of cooking. I'm very tidy and respectful of people who I am sharing with and think of myself as pretty laid back and easy to get along with. Hope to hear from you to organise a viewing.
Hello there: Perhaps, this is the first type of profile you may have come across on this site. Summary: I am an international student from North America AND also an expert backyard vegetable gardener. About me: I am a responsible and organize person, easy to get along with and good at keeping things neat and clean in and around the house. I don't smoke and I don't drink, studying is my goal. I am current upgrading my computer programming skills. My hobby and passion: I love vegetable gardening for the benefit of eating healthy organic vegetables all year round. As an expert vegetable gardener, I am willing to help the owner growing healthy vegetables in the backyard one day a week on weekend in exchange for free or minimal rent. I can grow many types of vegetables, including Tomatoes, Peppers, Beans, Peas, Zucchini, Lettuce, Herbs,... and so on. If interested, I can share more pictures of my backyard vegetable garden back home. I understand this is an extraordinary ad. but then again, if my vegetable growing green thumb skills can benefits someone in needs, why not I give it a try! :) Thanks and regards, Ivan
Hello! I study full time at MQ and work in Darlinghurst, i usually work until 2/3 am so main objective is finding some humans that don't mind the sound of the shower at that time! As reward I can supply beer and dumplings. I wouldn't mind housemates that can share a dinner or drink every now and then but if it's a great house that's not about that communal life then I'm amazing at keeping to myself also. I'm usually home 2 mornings and 2 evenings per week and not much more. Don't need a car space but would LOVE to get a pet bird at some point in the next 6 months so if you're cool with pets that would be fab. I'm all about cooking and making beautiful food, YES IIcan cook for you when I'm home, and the best thing about it is that I clean up after myself, "wait what, she's tidy AND relaxed?" you say "she must be a unicorn!" you exclaim.
A bachelor's life is what i live! I work marketing in the city and study masters at macquarie! Hi there, my name is Ella i am 28 years old. I work full time in the City in Recruitment. I love everything food and wine. My weekends are always fun and busy with friends. I love socializing and meeting new people. I am respectful and clean and always up for a chat and a laugh.
My Mum says I’m fun. 23, work in Telco, looking for a group of kool-kats to move in with to reduce the costs of living in this infamous utopia. I am a social butterfly, but also love my privacy. I am an average cook, but have an innate ability to dull your taste buds first with ample wine and good banter. If you’re lucky, you’ll fill up on the cheese platter entree before you have to endure mains. I am a domestic god, but don’t expect me to be your single mother/house wife. Outside of work, I run/swim, bathe in wine, and probably partake in far to much Netflix & Chill. I love a good dinner date, or a coffee at a venue where the barista knows me by name and doesn’t have to take my order. Ideally looking for anywhere on a train line, not to far from the CBD. I have all my own furnishings and brand new appliance that I am more than happy to share/sell/store if need be (preferably want to keep my own bed). Message me if you’re interested and we can grab a coffee if you feel the need to interrogate me further. I perform great under pressure... 😐 - Hayden. 😁
I'm a clean and tidy genuine person :) have lived in many share houses all over Australia and will bring with me positive vibes, a love for good health, quiet but social lifestyle and will always be respectful of others independence and space. I'm a beachy girl and very easygoing and I'm sure we will get along easily! Currently studying chiropractic at Macquarie university and my previous employment was a whaleshark dive instructor in Western Australia. I want to hear your stories and experiences! :)

I enjoy cooking, going for coffee/eating out, going to the beach, watching movies and a wine or two! I love to travel and being new to Sydney eager to explore the city. I'm very clean and tidy and easy to live with.

Hey, I'm Adam. What an arduous (check the vocab) process finding your new home and "to-be" flatmates is. So many variables to consider... location, price, compatibility, social influence. I guess that's not that many, really, but you know, you wanna get it right. I currently work as a 4th Year Electrical Apprentice. I become qualified this October and plan to move close to the city. I'm contemplating learning sales before I jump back into the electrical industry, if it all. Apprenticeships can be painful. I have a few months annual leave saved up giving me some time to check out the options once I've move in. Anyways. I despise the whole notion of job-as-identity. Let's get to the good stuff. I'm all about adventure. Some of my outdoor hobbies of have been surfing, skating, hiking and salsa. This year I want to start parkour, yes par-kour! I also love music and a good party. For me, partying should only be occasional. One of my biggest red flags for housemates is getting sucked into a wormhole of mindless weekly binge drinking. Don't get me wrong I'm down for a casual beer but I'm happy and prefer to go to gigs sober. On the flip side of all this I enjoy taking time out to focus, read, plan and ponder. I'm a big fan of health, fitness and self-development. My preference for housemates would be people who think the same about such things. I'm pretty easy going so it's not essential. Get in touch -Adam TLDR; I'm adventurous and introverted. I want to learn sales.
