Hi, my name is Fabian and I am an exchange postgraduate student at Macquarie University from July through November. Originally, I am from Munich but currently I am living in Vienna where I study finance at the University of Vienna. I would describe myself as quite uncomplicated, clean and easy to get along with. During my time in Sydney, I intend to spend most time studying and discovering Australia. Although, I keep to myself most of the time, I like going out for a beer or having a good time with friends. Preferably, I'd like to share a house/flat with other students or people around my age. I'm came to Sydney on the 19th of July and would like to move in ideally before the 26th of July. I am looking for a flat near Macquarie University or in an area that's not too far from campus or which has a good connection via train or bus to uni. It would be great If you are interested or have any questions, leave me a message! 😊
Hi, I'm a 25yo French engineer, staying here for at least 6 months. I work full-time on a construction project. I need to be close to a T1 station. Otherwise I'm easy going, always motivated to go for a run, explore the city or go out. I love techno music, meet people and eat good food. I would like to live in an Australian or international environment (no french). Cheers. Rémi
Hi guys, I'm 30 years old professional who works full-time in Finance (in CBD). I have been living in Sydney for 5 years now. I would call myself very clean and tidy person (have a bit of OCD with cleanliness) and respect other's privacy. I prefer quiet and chill weekends to recharge my energy as i usually work long hours during the week, and I am definitely not a party person. However, don't mind to have a glass of wine and share daily news with my flatmate after a hard day's work. I don't like to cook, so you will rarely see me in the kitchen. In case if you need a reference, my current flatmate with whom I've been living since i came to Australia, I believe wouldn't mind to provide some feedback. The reason for me to leave the current place is due to our apartment being sold. What I am looking for: - 1 Flatmate who has a full-time job, tidy and nice. - My budget is $350 (incl bills). - Need own bathroom. - My place needs to be near the train station. - I will move in on 11th of August’18. If you have any questions, just send me a message. Thank you! :)
25, male from Mumbai, recently relocated to Sydney for work. The silent kind with a respect of people's privacy but fun to hang out with once opened up! Soccer fanatic! Looking forward to meeting a great bunch of people.
I work as a Marketing Director during the day. In my down time I like to play tennis and squash, explore beaches and walks around Sydney, enjoy a decent wine, and (I won't lie...) occasionally slob on the sofa to watch movies :) I am clean, tidy and respectful of your privacy. I'm a non smoker and have no pets. Looking anywhere either on a train line to North Sydney or close by. I can move in whenever and flexible on budget for the right place.
We would like one big double room, big wardrobe! No drugs and parties! We are looking for a clean and peaceful place, where we have good communication! We accept Homestay Or two single rooms( in the same house). I am 31 years old and my friend is 33 years old. We are Brazilian students , tidy, friendly..
Respectful, sociable, a little reserved, good humoured, responsible. I'm a mature flat mate who has a steady professional job. I am very sociable but am not looking for a party or busy home. I live a hectic lifestyle and home is a sanctuary for me. I'm also looking for flatmates who I can build trust with - not people who lock themselves in their room but know how to share common space while recognising boundaries. Would be great if friendships form but this isn't a requirement because it's something that only evolves and shouldn't be forced. I have a diverse range of interests and am a very pro-active person. I'm a non-smoker and looking for same.
Update -> I am in Sydney now! I have changed my settings for who I want to live with: -> Only other students -> no couples -> no families -> I don't want to live alone with a hetero single man -> I prefer women I am a sweet and nice :) sociology student from Copenhagen university of Denmark - I am on exchange for one semester at Macquarie University. I am a social person and therefore I think it is important to have a good relation to the people I live together with - hopefully we become friends. I will use a lot of time reading, going around exploring the city, parks, museums, beach and shops. I will probably like to go out and get a drink or party sometimes. I respect your privacy and give room for time alone. I like the idear of saying hi when we meet in the morning, evening, when we are going out and coming home ;) I think it could be nice if it is aloud to dance and listen to loud music sometimes, when it dosn't disturb others. I have a free spirit, I am very tolerant and I think it is okay to drink, dance and flirt, have a partner and much more, but I would not like to live with abusers of alcohol, drugs, marihuana, sex or so. - and I would not like to live with a person who has a new sexpartner home every other day. My most importent value is tolerance and respect of others, but I do not accept people who does not treat others with dignity and respect ;) I clean up after myself and expect it from my flatsmates. I like to live clean and nice - probably with some plants or flowers. I would enjoy to chat, cook, eat and go out together sometimes - if you are cool with it? ;)
I am polite, respectful, friendly, open-minded, and always happy for a chat. I love sports (all kinds but specific interest in futsal and badminton), and music. Also, I am into game nights and Netflix binging, but also need and understand the need for some space and alone time.
Current housemate is moving in with her boyfriend so I am looking for my next housemates! I work full time in the finance industry and have been living in Sydney for 1.5 year. I am pretty easy to get along with, enjoy the outdoor and hanging out with friends on the weekend. Not too fussed about where I live as long as it is within 30-40mins transport to the city.
Mine is just a return to the stunning Sydney. This time i'll come over with my partner after almost two years spent together in Italy. Atypical Engineer specialized in Sales&Marketing and ... good life. We are reliable, funny, dynamic, clean and extremely friendly/outgoing! Free/Included Parking spot needed as i'll have business car. Cheers, Frank
I'm a part-time worker in a dispute resolution team in a call centre, and I'm studying my Masters at Macquarie University part-time. In my spare time, I train in Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and I enjoy watching movies and docos on Netflix. I love meeting new people and socialising, but I also enjoy my down time/alone time when I am at home, as it is generally my time to relax and unwind. Looking to move into a place for at least 4-6 months, possibly longer. Flexible as to when I can move in - but would prefer sooner rather than later. I am also interested in teaming-up and moving out into a 3 or 4 bedroom place with my sister (age 22, works full-time as a nurse) (so, looking for a third/fourth person or a couple who may be interested). Our budget is approx. 200-220 each, and looking for people who have a budget of between 250-300 or so (and would like the bigger bedrooms in a house). :)
I'm an open hearted psychology student from Germany, looking for an accomodation during my exchange semester at Macquarie University. I would love to find flatmates who like to hang out together, but also respect privacy. I love travelling, running, tennis and swimming. I'm a clean flatmates and I like to cook, especially together with my future flatmates ;)
Hello! I am looking for a room on the lower north shore of Sydney. I work full time in the city. I am a very clean and tidy flatmate and respectful of others. I am considerate of others and keep noise to a minimum (especially at night if others are trying to sleep). I love the outdoors and love nature and like to spend my days off going for runs/exercising/working out and spending time at the beach. I am fairly health conscious and like to eat healthy and look after my body. I don’t like to drink very much or have too late of a night and i value my sleep alot. A tidy and clean house is also very important to me. I would like to live with flatmates of a similar nature :) Chat soon! Sarah
I'm a teacher who enjoys the outdoors (netball, hiking, kayaking). I'm easy going, clean, reliable with rent. Keep to myself but also enjoy being social. Not looking for a party house.
Male 'professional' working full-time in North Sydney - tidy/clean and a good sense of humour. Originally from New Zealand, but have been in Sydney for almost two years. I equally enjoy being social (e.g., beer, sport, dinner, chat) and my own space/time (often coupled with TV or a movie).
I love to live in a clean environment and willing to work well with others and I also have a great sense of humour and love to crack some jokes when I have the time to socialise with other flatmates
I'm a young, fun and super busy professional moving down from Brisbane for a job opportunity. I'm going to be working full-time in Marketing/Comms and completing my degree (Marketing and Film) part-time, so I'll be super busy during the week but down for a drink and a good yarn on the weekend. I'm looking for a dynamic household and like-minded roommates (ie. future friends), as I've never lived in Sydney before. I'm a really good cook and appreciate a clean living space, so will definitely carry my weight in terms of cleanliness (and also cook up a little family feast every now and then). I'm looking at starting with a 6 month lease just to get a feel for the city, but I am moving to Sydney indefinitely, so there's nothing stopping me from staying longer if things work out!
Hi, I'm Pridhvi. I've been living in Sydney for over 6 months now. I've come here on a work visa from India and I'm working full time for an analytics firm in CBD. A bit about myself: I'm a very laid back person, respectful of boundaries but always up for a chat/drink or two. I'm quite athletic if I say so myself, up for most physical activities. I play/watch football (the English kind), table tennis and a bit of the cricket. I'll be working from 9-7 Monday-Fridays and will be free on the weekends and generally explore Sydney and surrounding areas. When I'm not at work, you'll likely find me binging on TV shows/movies etc. I'm quite knowledgeable in all kinds of films and always up for taking/giving suggestions. I keep myself/surroundings tidy and am quite ready to share household chores. I'm looking for a private room in a share house preferably starting from around early August.
I am an easy going man with good sense of humor. Love hanging out with friends, going out to have a drink or visiting beaches. Love music.
My friend and I have been roomies for a year and we’re pretty easygoing people; we’re both neat and tidy and respectful of people’s privacy. Both of us are working students so we are generally quiet people but we do go out and socialise too :)
My name is Ronan, I work as a business analyst in a software company in Chatswood. Looking for a sharehouse with similar minded working professionals. I like my own space but am happy to have a chat now and again in my free time. Sports mad! Weekends are spent either playing or watching sports.
We are a Brazilian couple looking for a place close to the city. We have preference for the north side, but if the flat is beautifull and confortable we will take in consideration for sure. We´re very tidy and organized. Pedro is a master degree student and part time worker and Juliana is a full-time worker. Our preferable flatmate is a english native speaker and the maximum we can share is one person or a couple.
