I am a grad student at Melb Uni, and my partner is a grad student at Monash. We are looking for a place for our 2 years in Melbourne (may extend more).
I'm Ryan, 25, full time electrical engineer working with robotics startup. I like music, going to gigs/festivals, having beers and hanging out, looking to move into a fun sharehouse where everyone gets along. Looking to move immediately for the right room! Some things that are on my wishlist but aren't deal breakers: -NBN or fast internet -Garage/Shed for tinkering Some things that are important to me: -Unfurnished room - I have my own stuff -Parking (permit/off street or quiet street)
Hi there, I'm Katharina, a 31-year-old crazy German, and I will be in Melbourne until the end of December. I would love to share a flat because I always enjoy meeting new people and I prefer living with others rather than living alone. I would like to live with somebody who does not regard sharing merely as a way to save costs, but who likes to hang out together. I have lived with many different people from different cultures and in different countries and most of my former flatmates became close friends. In my work, I do research in behavioral economics (to be precise, on conflict resolution, the integration of refugees and anti-corruption) and in Germany I also teach in these subjects. While I'm here, I only do research and thus will have more free time ;-) In my spare time, I love playing music (I play the piano) or going to concerts, doing sports (rowing, running, swimming, hiking, climbing, yoga), cooking and enjoying dinner with good friends, playing board games and dancing / going out. I'm an outdoor person and like to spend my weekends in the mountains or with other outdoor activities. I would be glad to hear from you! Katharina
Hey, my name is Chloe. I'm 26, working part time and finishing my Masters thesis in Philosophy. I've lived in Melbourne for 8 years, and am looking for a place in North Melbourne or West Melbourne, as I've made a lot of connections in the area. I'm looking for either a room in a share house, or to team up with someone looking to start a new sharehouse. I'm looking for a place with a friendly and chill vibe. I'm quite independent but enjoy catching up with housemates when I'm home, and am partial to the occasional party or social gathering. I'm clean, tidy, considerate and respectful and I also come with a tool kit and some (limited) maintenance skills. During the day I'm usually working or at uni writing. I also hit the gym pretty regularly, and box competitively (which keeps me busy!). I also enjoy reading, watching tv shows (favourites are Battlestar Galactica, Steven Universe, Jane the Virgin, Black Books, Malcolm in the Middle... and so many more), music (mostly metal, hip-hop and rap but I am a sucker for 80s and Eurovision), drinking lots of coffee, and seeing friends. I have enough furniture to start a new sharehouse, but I can also sell it before I move if I find a sharehouse that's already set up. If it sounds like I might be a good fit for your house, or like we might work as a team to start a new place, please get in touch and we can have a chat :)
Allo there, I'm a professional creative, Graphic Designer, who runs my own business and I love it. I have a studio in West Melbourne and currently live in West Footscray. I work hard which sometimes means on my home computer, and I like to relax when away from the desk. I love the arts, music, design, travel, food, cafes, bars, drawing, photography, movies, Netflix, fitness and spending time with mates. My fave food spots, gym, cinema etc are all close to my current home, so I would like to stay within a few suburbs of them. In a living space I enjoy sharing with housemates and hanging out, just as much as quiet time alone to relax after a busy day. I’m an avid bargain hunter at food markets and I love to bake. Pets are awesome and I'm considered a cat whisperer, let me at them! I’m clean and tidy and expect the same, though I’m not regimented about it. Gardening is a meditative passion and I own some furniture and white goods. Creative people make me happy. I love to share ideas, crafts, artworks to inspire each other. I have a fairly kooky sense of humour, but I assure you I’m a nice guy who is country bred. Hit me up for more and let’s do this!
Hello everyone! We are two Norwegian girls who are searching high and low to find a home for the next 4 months. We are study abroad students from the University of Oslo, and will be studying criminology at the University of Melbourne. We are really excited to be here in Australia as we have never been here before, and are supercurious about the Australian culture and way of living. We are adventurous, easy going, clean, kind, honest, and are used to live with other people. We would love to live with some australians, but any other nationalities are also exciting! We are also open for living just the two of us together. We are looking for a sharehouse/apartment with two separate bedrooms so that we can have one room each. Kristin is allergic to cats. Even though we are full-time students, we would like to spend as much of our spear time as possible exploring Australia. We are sociable, but like our alonetime as well. We love making good dinners, reading almost any kind of book, going for a run or a bike ride, watching a good (or bad) movie, gamenights, etc. Music takes up a big place in our hearts and we LOOVE going to concerts. No worries, when listening to music we can use headphones. We are always down for a couple of beers or glasses of wine. Also I (Maia) am very into second hand/vintage/ and "Savers" kind of stores, and love browsing through clothes/nip-naps for hours. If there is anything else you would like to know about us or our stay, please don't hesitate to contact me! We are superkeen to find our new Australian home. Cheers! Maia and Kristin
Hey guys, I'm looking for a place to call home around CBD area. I'm a full-time student and part-time worker, keep busy during every week. I'm easy going, tidy also respectful of people's privacy and their lives.
Hi! I study full time at RMIT in the city and have uni 3 days a week. I'm quiet and tidy and keep to myself but don't mind a chat at all. I moved to Melbourne from Adelaide in February of 2017 and I'm looking for another share house with friendly and respectful people. I'm a PC gamer so when I'm not in the mood to socialise I'll mostly be on my laptop playing games, on the internet, or doing homework. Men/women/whoever I can live with, gender doesn't matter.
Hi. I come from Kenya, East Africa. I like to cook (when time allows) and bake (I most definitely enjoy the products of the effort whether cooked by me or by someone else), to read and to see new places. I have a mix of introversion and extroversion. I am a postgrad student so no worries of crazy party life of younger years. I absolutely love cleanliness and tidiness (but not a tidy freak myself). I will respect your space and observe your boundaries hoping you will do the same for me. I consider myself easy to live with and flexible. I am cheerful, easy to talk to and a good listener. I keep no pets and don't drink except on specific occasions neither do I smoke. I prefer female housemates only please (sorry guys, we can hang out though lol!)
I'm Uma. I'm looking for a room to rent since I have to move out from my south yarra apartment due to landlord moving back in. I have lived in Melbourne for 12 years. I'm of Asian background with Australian citizen, in my 30's, working full time in retail. I have done some photography and have my little side projects. I would love to have a place where I can relax after work and a few kendo practices during the week. I'm socialabe, friendly, easy going and clean up after myself. I do respect people's spaces as well as my own. I'm pretty easy to live with. I tend to get along well with all age groups.
Hi! I'm Lucy, a science PhD student from Melbourne. I'm looking for somewhere close to the University of Melbourne to call home. I'm genuinely pretty quiet and my PhD keeps me busy, although I am sometimes prone to stress baking. I'm always happy to chat with housemates, and when I need my space I try to keep to my room. My move date is flexible at this point, so if our times don't align we can talk it through.
I am a Professional working in an Insurance Company. I also have a side business that I spend time on to earn part time income therefore I don't usually spend much time at home - and I barely use the living room at all. I will do my meal prep mostly during weekend. I pack all my meals and clean dishes right after meal prep. Would be keen to live with someone who values hygiene. Look forward to hear from you :)
Hi, My name is Nikhshay. I am 19 years old from Thailand studying full time engineering. I am currently in Thailand and will be back in Melbourne on 21. I am looking for a private room near RMIT.

I am very keen to move to melbourne sometime the end of this year or early next year to have an opportunity for a bigger and better life style! I am down for good chats/banter and hanging out with flat mates but also respect people's privacy! I enjoy going out but am just as happy with a good chat over a meal :) I'm very independent who currently lives on my own in a two bedroom unit ! Pay all my bills , rent and even wifi! Very clean and tidy ! Always helping around the house and easy to get along with! I thought starting a new share house would be an awesome thing to do so if you are interested please contact me so we can start planning!!! Ps I have a abit of furniture like couches and fridges to help us start our home! Msg if interested ! :) thank you
Pre-Note: I'm actually very flexible on when I'd move - whenever it's convenient I'm Anton. I've been in Melbourne almost my whole life, and looking to move closer to my work for an indefinite amount of time. I'm a full-time scientist and my biggest hobby is music, playing and listening. I'm looking forward to moving in somewhere homey where I can feel comfortable in the kitchen or living room with my housemates, with whom I hope to get along with well (as opposed to locked in my room all the time). I consider myself tidy and I will definitely do my part in the house. I like cooking, visual arts, bike riding, skating, various sports. I also speak Spanish and I'm keen to practice my slowly faltering Italian. I will be very respectful of my housemates' personal space and I will keep quiet when appropriate. I definitely don't consider myself a party animal, but I'm keen for social events, and I will gladly tolerate and partake in any in-house social gathering if I'm informed in advance. FYI I have a few things I'd like to fit in my room (such as a moderately-sized desk and double bed) so I'm going to avoid places with tiny rooms.
I'm a perfectly house trained 25 yo exchange student from Germany studying at RMIT for the 2nd semester. I'm a huge music enthusiast and a decent cook looking for exploring this beautiful city in various ways! So feel free to message me. Cheers!

Hi guys, I moved to Melbourne to study Business and Economics at the University of Melbourne and I am looking for a private room until the 15th of January. I am Alessandro, a 23 yo Italian graduate student. I am a friendly and talkative guy who has been living in Sweden (Stockholm) and Copenhagen (Denmark) for the past 2 years. There, I had the chance to meet people from all over the world and to widen my mentality. In general, I am an easy going person who tries to enjoy his life as much as possible. I play basketball but I am looking for a gym and running mate during my staying. I am keen on cooking, especially Italian dishes and I am a TV-series addicted (right now I'm looking forward to start again GoT). I arrived this week and if you are interested I am more than happy to meet you in person. Tanti saluti, Ale
Hello! I'm 25, originally from Geelong. I was living in Carlton for over a year but unfortunately my landlord sold the apartment :( I'm currently back in Geelong doing the daily commute! I work 6 days a week; in Ecommerce in South Yarra and also as an assistant for a creative label in Collingwood. In my spare time I catch up with friends, eat (I love food), like (try) to stay active and enjoy live music. I'm also a massive travel enthusiast and love going exploring and the beach! I'm looking to live with someone who is easy going, respectful, has a decent sense of humor and cleans up after themselves. I pride myself on keeping my living space clean and tidy, in saying that, I'm a clean freak especially when it means not having a sink full of dishes at the end of the night. I'm not looking for a party house, however I may sometimes have friends over for bevs and a platter (I'm a platter queen). Although I love animals, I do get pet allergies :( If you have an outdoor dog then that would be fine. Aside from that, the dishes and party house thing I am totally chill when it comes to anything else! If I'm not being busy doing my own things, I'm always down for housemate hangs and make great netflix binge company! I already have my own furniture (full queen sized suite). I also have a dining table and chairs, and kitchen appliances if needed! If I seem to suit shoot me a message and tell me a bit about yourself/housemates :)
