I'm a recent uni graduate moving from Perth to Melbourne for full time work as a programmer. I enjoy games, tv shows, movies and exercise. I'm easy to get along with and like meeting new people.
I am quiet, clean, and keep to myself for the most part. My hobbies include reading, gaming, journaling, and going for runs/walks. I am an open-minded, accepting person and I am looking for a flat-mate/s with those same qualities as well :) I currently live in Adelaide and I hope to move to Melbourne by the end of January to prepare for university at RMIT, where I will be studying Legal and Dispute Studies. I will also be getting a job fairly quickly after I move, I will be on student allowance however so paying rent will not be a problem.
Hey there! I'm a 27 year old graduate architect, working full time. I enjoy a glass (or few) of red wine, live music, comedy, design and pretending to be fit. I'm looking for a household that is tidy and friendly, and doesn't mind a good chinwag! That said, I'm fairly independent and enjoy my own company. Cheese and Netflix enthusiast. Ideally looking for a house that I can call home, with a couple of top-notch people. Happy to bring along a fridge / washing machine / a few other appliances :)

We are a Scandinavian couple staying in Australia for a year, looking for a cosy and friendly place to live near Melbourne CBD for 5-6 months from January. One is a sommelier and the other is a mechanical engineer, where the first-mentioned just got a job in CBD and the latter is hoping to get inspiration for his first start-up company. We are both social and outgoing people that are eager to experience what Melbourne and it's surroundings has to offer when it comes to nature, culture, people, food, wine etc. We are here to have an experience and would therefore probably be spending quite some of our off-days on daytrips in or out of the city. That mentioned, we also like to relax at home or with friends over a good meal or a good movie. Hoping to find someone willing to take us onboard soon =) Cheers, Vebjorn and Johanna *** OBS! Prefer to move in anytime between 1st and 15th of January *** (Furnished and available parking space would be a plus, but is not a requirement)
Working full time in city, looking to move from my apartment to a sharehouse. Enjoy company of others and appreciate time to myself. Respectful of others and a master of sharehouse ettique 👍🏼 looking for working professionals similar in age. I come with furniture if needed. Dec to early Jan move.
I'm easy to live with, very quiet, not a party man (not drinking nor smoking). I'm not intrusive at all. Respect your privacy! I practice ahletics (as a sprinter). I love reading and educating myself. Into spirituality, yoga and meditation. I am looking for a place to stay from 3months up to 1year and more. As I'm going to get a working visa the length is not an issue.
My name is Becca, I’m 27, I’m from Tassie originally but been in Melbourne since Feb last year :) I work a few different jobs: I’m an artist (mostly musician but do a bunch of other kinds of arts too). I’m a self-employed voice coach, teaching technique for singing & speech (but mostly singing). I work about 2 days a week at Mork Chocolate Brewhouse in North Melbourne (from which I bring home tasty treats sometimes!) but am also currently applying for more/new jobs. I also model for life drawing classes and sometimes do other random odd jobs here & there. I’m looking for a home, not just a house; I am a busy person who does my own thing a lot and has a lot of projects I’m working on, so I’m not wanting to live out of each other’s pockets, but I also want to have a place where we hang a bit in the communal areas in the evenings and chat about our days or talk shit, cook & eat together now and then, hang out in the sun on good days and have a beer. In my current house there isn’t much of a good shared lounge area and everyone just kind of lives in their rooms all the time and I am craving a little bit more of a casual family vibe. I don’t smoke, I’ve never been late on rent or bills, I like to be energy usage conscious though not anally-so, I like to try to be good to the environment. I’m great at cleaning and I’m house-proud; I am happiest when my place is looking clean and beautiful, I like indoor plants, sunshine, fresh air, and putting up art :) I’m often singing but I’m told I’m good at it, I like to put on loud music and dance around the house when I’m home alone or if someone wants to dance with, but am also very capable of quieting the fuck down when people need to sleep/concentrate. I’m silly, playful, and affectionate, but also a proper grown up. Ideally I’m looking for a place which has a sunroom/study/spare room/office where I would be able to set up my desk & teach my voice students from. I teach about 3 days a week, 5 hours maximum, finishing by 8pm at the latest (a lot of the time a lot less/earlier). Totally keen to make said teaching room also a shared art room and useable by anyone else at times when I’m not teaching! Or happy to pay a little extra rent for the use of the extra room. I've put $280 per week as max budget but I am really hoping to get a lot less than that. I'm currently paying $200/week. Around $240 would be the highest I'm really hoping to go.
Hey ladies and gents! I'm Bethany! I'm 20 years old and have recently moved to Melbourne at the start of the year from Albury/Wodonga. I currently live in West Melbourne, however my lease ends soon so I am looking for somewhere new! I work in Docklands, so anywhere nearby or close to the city is where I'm looking, (somewhere that won't take me more than 30 mins to get to work) however I do not drive at the moment so somewhere close to public transport is necessary! I am a very friendly and easy going person. I am very social, love having a laugh and going out and doing things to keep busy! I go to the gym, and I head into the city quite a fair bit. I am also a tidy person (not OCD but i know how to be clean), and I respect other peoples surroundings. I work 5-6 days a week and on weekends I like to catch up with friends, go to the footy (go cats), or head out! I promise I am a great person to live with :) I would love to find somewhere I can call my home!
Hey! I am a Scottish Lad who is currently Living in Perth. On my last R&R I went to Melbourne for a week and fell in love with the city. I am looking to move to Melbourne early next year, Feb/March. I work FiFo on the Wheatstone gas plant in Onslow WA on a 3/1 Roster so I would only be living there one week a month. I am however looking to get out of the Industry and this is likely to change after May. I am very easy to get on with and am a big believer of live and let live. I love meeting new people and socialising, however I also like to have time to my self and respect other peoples wishes for the same. If i was your flatmate I could promise you a lot of fun, plenty of laughs and likely a friend for life. I will try anything twice and enjoy most things, I have a wide and varied taste in music, food and well....pretty much everything lol. I enjoy cooking and like to keep a clean living space, however I am not anal about this as everyone has different standards. I am looking for a comfortable place to stay in a Beautiful city and hopefully an amazing Friend(s) to share it with.
I'm easy going, respectful and mindful of others, honest, responsible, i love animals ( I have a 11month old bengal kitten called saphira), love a good laugh and im allways looking on the bright side of life. I usually keep to myself, but i do love a good chat and love to hear other peoples stories and experiences. I'm only looking for a place with a garage or shed so that instead of living in the house id use the garage/shed as my room/parking space for my motorbike. As long as it has a solid flooring and easy access for me to bring my bike in after work. If its cold and breezy i dont care:) im a handy man and i love to fix things. If im not working on my bike im usualy working on my visual display electronics. Iv worked in just about every job industry, iv traveled all over asia and australia and also live in melbourne backpackers for 2 years. I got a story for every occasion. Im verry open to options and ideas on anything.
Hi! I'm just a chill girl from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, looking for other girls to share a flat with, preferably fellow international students. I'm an extrovert, but like everyone else, will keep to myself at times. I'll be heading to RMIT for industrial design next February. I've mad love for spicy food (Thai, especially), Japanese films, dessert, football and art. Music-wise, I like stuff like Gorillaz, The Weeknd, Frank Ocean, Young The Giant, Stars, Lorde, Vampire Weekend, Disclosure, Ra Ra Riot and Childish Gambino. Among many others, anyway. I'm both a tea and coffee person. The same goes for dogs and cats. I speak three languages ー English, Malay and Japanese. I'm big on cleanliness, tidiness and hygiene. My hobbies include sports and outdoor activities (like rock climbing, yoga and pilates) and lots of arts and crafts. Basically, I'm pretty easygoing and I like getting to know new people. And I really really love the beach. Hit me up if you think we'd get along!
I'm a recent graduate from Emily Carr University or Art and Design in Vancouver, BC. I'm here on contract work with Monash University for at least 3 months, and looking for a cool, cozy place to call home for a while. I love cooking for friends, and would enjoy occasional roomie nights, but will mostly be working, wandering the city and off on my own adventures. For anyone who gains knowledge from this - I'm a Leo and an INFJ. I'm basically a pretty laid back chick who likes to read and study, but also loves exploring and having a good time! Let's chat and see if we could be a good fit! :) -Cheers!
Hi there My current lease is ending just before X-mas so I am looking to start a new one in the first week of January. I am an engineer with MBA and am working as project manager with Victorian government. I am looking for an apartment with a furnished private room preferably in Melbourne CBD and surroundings. I have been living in Australia for over 6 years and prior to that I lived in the USA for 10 years. During my initial years in the USA, I was a graduate student. As such, I am used to living comfortably with international people. I am very clean, neat and tidy and expect my flatmate to be the same. After work, I will be spending my time in gym or pool. Yes I do like cooking. Occasional visits by friends over the weekend is OK but I am definitely not looking for a party house. Apartment need to be quiet after 10 PM. If you need to know more, please drop me a note. Regards,

I'm looking to secure an arrangement WITHIN THE NEXT FEW DAYS. I'm an American student attending San Francisco State University. My partner will be studying abroad at Uni Melbourne and I've come across a great opportunity to go with her. We'll need to move into a place at the end of January / beginning of February. I would describe us as studious and low key, though we do make sure we're getting out and having fun. I'm majoring in technical and professional writing and would continue my studies during my stay in Melbourne (fortunately all my classes are online). I also plan to work part-time during my stay. My partner will be busy with her studies at the university. We're in a hurry to find a place IMMEDIATELY to move into at the end of January/beginning of February!
Hi, I'm Indy I'm going to be doing a Diploma of Music Theatre at Ministry Of Dance so I'm looking for somewhere to stay while doing it :) I LOVE musicals and fitness and I'm energetic sometimes but I also love to relax and watch movies. I'm respectful of other peoples space and opinions and I'm also a tidy person. I'm looking to move into a house/apartment which isn't too far from the dance school and look forward to meeting you
I am a registered nurse, 30+ lady, looking for someone not just a flatmate but supporting each other on daily living. I love cooking and am happy to share the food with you. I have been living with other friends for years so know well how important it is to respect each other. (The reason for we separating is we found a job in different locations and we both wanna move closer to our own workplace) I am clean but not the type of OCD. I am willing to do housework and can manage some simple repairs. I am not a party animal but I don't mind you taking your friends home for gathering. When I am not going to work, I usually use the computer quietly at home or go to the gym.
Andrew - I am an easy going guy, working full time as an estimator in the residential construction industry. I have a very friendly German shepherd named Khaleesi, she loves people and behaving. I enjoy being clean, organised, sociable, fitness and being considerate of my room mates! Fairly career focused with lots of projects on the go, I have a huge stash of Movies and TV shows. I also have beer on tap but this does not have to come with me. Proximity to a train station as i currently work in the CBD would win me over. Moving as I currently living in Geelong and train every day to the CBD
Two sisters from Malaysia who are looking for other flatmates to share an accommodation with..We're friendly, open minded and fun to be around. Both of us are studying and working part time. very respectful and clean :)

My name is Leigh, male, and I'm a spritely 36 years old (not crusty and 36). I've been sharehousing since my early twenties so I'm well and truly house broken. I like to thing I'm pretty easy to live with, I do my share of housework, clean up after myself and have no time for drama. At the moment I'm working in a call centre full time while I try and land a job in clinical research; my usual 9 to 5. And no, I don't wear a lab coat or experiment on animals... any more. I keep it pretty low key during the week but on the weekend love going down to the pub for a beer, catching some live music, scuba diving and wakeboarding (once I get my board sent over from Perth). Ideally I'm looking to live with people who are like minded in a lively area. Thanks for reading! P.S. Sorry about the photo, it's the most recent one of me I could find, I just happen to be pulling a face.
HELLO! I am a 20 year old vego naturopathy student that has lived in sunny Perth since age 5! I am making the big move back to Melbourne after years of telling people 'this is definitely the year I'm moving back.' I'm a full time cafe worker and part time online uni student! I love my job and am organised financially. I am clean and tidy, and have minor OCD issues about dirty kitchens, so if you need someone that will clean up after themselves in all areas, I'm your gal. I enjoy walking, coffee, eating lots of delicious home cooked food and hanging out with friends (that hopefully I will acquire in the first few months of moving). I am a food blogger so if we go out for any meal you've got to be cool with me taking some aesthetically pleasing photos and making sure we sit at a table with the best lighting ;). I am interested in a private room, preferably in a flat or townhouse but I'm super flexible with whatever works. Looking for something relatively close to the city, but again, flexible with this. I also love animals and children and do heaps of babysitting. Thanks for reading a bit about me!! Ruby

I'm quite social and love to explore the cities I live in, and what they have to offer! Looking for a furnished place that's close to the city and with parking space for my car (happy to shell out for a resident street parking permit, if needed). I respect people's personal space and am quite neat and tidy. I've lived with housemates in the past and they've always been really good experiences. Currently plan to move around the 20th of December, so would ideally like to have a place to stay once I'm there. Let me know if you'd like to know anything else. Cheers.

Hi, I work in Sales for an IT company next to Camberwell station. I moved back to Melbourne in November 2014 from overseas after 4 years of living and working and glad to be back in the most livable city in the world - Melbourne!! I am an Australian Citizen and have lived in Melbourne for 10 years prior (2000 - 2010) and 2 years recently. I am extremely friendly and have lived with many nationalities. My current and prior flat mates can vouch for me and will be my referees. I am pretty social and attend most events Melbs offers. I ride my bicycle and explore Melbourne and rest, well you will have to chat with me in person to know more about me yeah? While at home, I enjoy watching movies, love to cook, having a chat over meal/drink with flat mate/s, have my own space to relax and give them their - in short, I am really cool ;) :). I love to cook and buying fresh from the markets and cooking from scratch - it's my thing. Like a glass of red in the winters, to keep myself warm. I am down to earth and easy to get along with. I would like to live with matured flat mate/s who are 'neat & clean' and would take responsibility of themselves and the house - I do not mean clean freak :). Would also like to share meal, chat over a drink etc occasionally - instead of being a person living next door :). I am most flexible and mindful of others and their privacy. Would be great to meet in person and have a chat to see if we will get along. I have my own stuff for the room, (bed, tall boy, side table etc.) and my espresso coffee machine, couple of pans and stuff for kitchen nothing major though and no other furniture, thank you. Look forward to having a chat with you in person as I believe that would be best to grasp if we would get along. Cheers, Chirag :)
I am a really easy going guy, who likes to go out, meet new people and explore. I have traveled the world and have lived on my own before. So I have no problem paying bills, or keeping the place clean. I am from Toronto Canada and have decided to live in Australia for a year and then maybe travel a bit around Asia and New Zealand. I am into business and sports, I love hockey even though I hear there's not much of it in Australia, but also love tennis, basketball, baseball, and soccer. I like to try new things for fun, and will always say yes to going out and partying. I do enjoy though sometimes staying in and watching Netflix haha. Looking for a social roommate. I am a young professional and plan on working part time or full time during the week, while I am studying for my CFA exam. Looking for a furnished room with a bed and a place to put my clothes most importantly.
