Hey! I'm a Canadian (from Toronto) travelling through Australia and decided I loved Melbourne so much I have to stay for a while. I'm currently working full time at a restaurant in the CBD and also for a startup in sustainable fashion. I'm very used to sharing space with other people so I'm very easy going, open minded and respectful. I love to cook healthy food, be active (running, yoga, hiking) and explore local events. I also eat a predominantly vegetarian diet so if you don't want meat in the house I have no problem with that.
I'm a Visual/Fine Arts student transferring to a Melbourne university from the University of Western Australia, planning to start studying Semester 2, 2017. I love Melbourne's focus on art and believe it will be beneficial for me in the future. I love animals of all types, and drawing them, as well as being sociable and spending time with friends, whether it be video-gaming (can provide a PS4, PS3, Nintendo Switch), going out, or even just sharing a meal. I'm a big pop-culture fan and do enjoy a good film occasionally. ;) I am a responsible, outgoing, tidy and clean person and am incredibly excited to begin a life in Melbourne!!

I'm Ryan, 25, full time electrical engineer working with robotics startup. I like music, going to gigs/festivals, having beers and hanging out, looking to move into a fun sharehouse where everyone gets along. Looking to move immediately for the right room! Some things that are on my wishlist but aren't deal breakers: -NBN or fast internet -Garage/Shed for tinkering Some things that are important to me: -Unfurnished room - I have my own stuff -Parking (permit/off street or quiet street)
Hello! I'm an expat of the forest covered hills in the Dandenong Ranges and have been happily living in the city for the last 6months. The council has an issue with our landlord so we had to move out immediately. I'm on a mission to find an alternative ASAP. I love live music, camping, gardening, cycling, photography and I spend most of my week nights catching up with friends, wandering through parks, seeing movies or listening to some of the awesome local roots music in a cosy back street bar. I'm a professional at the share house thing and have references but most importantly, I'm respectful, tidy, honest, I pay up on time & I generally get along with everyone because I'm very open minded and easy going having lived with many people over the years from a child. I have a full time 8:30-5:30pm Mon-Fri job as an Inventory Controller in Hawthorn. I'm queer though no one ever guesses & I love animals if you have any. I spend between 4-6months a year house / farm sitting for furry friends when their pet humans are away. If you want to know more, please feel free to contact me anytime. Thanks for reading and hope to hear from you soon :)
Nice and Gay. I'm a postgrad student at RMIT city and looking for a private room in a suburb which is within 30 min by direct public transport to city. Move date ASAP. I'm a bit sensitive guy and expect the same from the house mates, so if you or someone in your house is outspoken, cranky, insensitive or short tempered please do not contact. Scammers on here please leave me alone.
I'm a super easy going guy who enjoys the company of others but also values his privacy. I am an Electronics Engineer so I will try and fix all the things and give you advice on technology, which you can feel free to ignore if you like, but if you humour me, I'll humour you, that's how this sharing thing works right? I love to have a beer (many to be more accurate) on occassion and love to have a good laugh while I'm at it. Im not a party animal by any stretch, I prefer nights in mostly or going to a chill pub with mates. It would be cool to have a housemate to do this with, since I don't have too many friends in Melbourne. Being a nerdy engineer type, you will enjoy the benefit of access to my movie and TV collection on a dedicated media server with over 18TB of media storage 😊 if that is your type of thing anyway... Anyway, I'm sure there is a bunch more important stuff I could have said here, but overall, I'm a very respectful, clean, friendly, career focused guy. I just want to find a place for cheaper rent and to make some new friends if possible.
Hi I'm Holly. 27 years old and working full time as a teacher, however am considering changing industries. I'm looking for a share house with the perfect balance of spending time together but also having respect for one anothers privacy. I have lived overseas and lived in sharehouses for nearly 3 years. I am domesticated, enjoy cooking and understand the financial responsibilities of paying rent and all that comes with it. I am a social person but also cherish my down time. I enjoy meeting people from all walks of life but I feel like I have a tendency to be a little left of centre, so I tend to bond most with like minded souls. I am very laid back, just like to have a mutual respect policy. More than anything I like to laugh, its very important for my sanity to not take life too seriously. That being said, I do have a serious side and am very interested in current affairs, politics etc.
Hi. I am Ishwar Singh. 26. Male. From India. On a Permanent Resident Visa. Non-Smoker. Occasionally drink. Currently studying Master of Information Technology in RMIT City Campus. Have another 1.5 years left. I consider myself a clean and tidy person. I am a bit of studious so will mostly spend time in University. If not, will be at home studying or just chilling. I am not a party pooper. I am a North Indian who is born and brought up in South India. So have a mix of different cultures in me. More details you will get to know once you meet me ;P I am currently living at my cousin's place and would like to move out ASAP. So please help me :D The intended length of stay is just mentioned as a WORST case scenario which I know will never happen.
I've been living in Melbourne for 8 months now after moving from the UK and the lease where I currently am is coming to an end. I'm easy going, clean, tidy, professional and like to do my own thing while also getting to know my housemate. I spend a lot of time at work or booking my next holiday.
I'm Japanese who is seeking a share room. I'm tidy, easygoing, optimistic and cat person:) I prefer to share with another person (it means a room for 2 person) and who isn't from same country to use English.
Hi there, First, thanks for looking at my profile. Please read carefully before contacting me. My lease ended at the end of March and am looking to start a new one on 29th April or thereabout. I am an engineer with MBA and am working as project manager with Victorian government. I am looking for an apartment with a furnished private room preferably in Melbourne CBD free tram zone or Southbank. I have been sharing rental apartments with flatmates for a while now. As such, I am used to living comfortably with international people. I am very clean, neat and tidy and expect my flatmate to be the same. After work, I will be spending my time in gym or pool. I do my own cooking. Occasional visits by friends over the weekend is OK but I am definitely not looking for a party house. Apartment should be quiet after 10 PM. If you need to know more, please drop me a note. Regards,
Hi ! I'm Régis, I'm a french student in an engineering school in Paris. I'll be 3 months in Melbourne for an internship at the university. I'm looking for a shared house around the university where I could find a friendly environment I think I'm clean and easy going person :) I'm passionate of music ( I play piano and accordion ) and I like very much mountain sports :-) I practice rock climbing and I hope can do some in Melbourne ! I also do enjoy visiting and exploring, so I look forward to moving a bit to see Melbourne and its surroundings :)
Hi, I'm Llewellyn (or Lewy for short). I'm Australian, currently sharing a place in Carlton, which will likely get sold in a couple months. Still wanting to be very close to the CBD for work. Mainly looking within the 1st ring of suburbs surrounding the CBD. I work in Audio/Visual for the events industry - most often in Docklands and do some freelance work as a Sound Recordist with projects for TV, Film or the Web. While at home, I enjoy cooking (usually while listening to music), washing dishes from said cooking, watching TV/Movie while eating the result of the cooking (ideally with others if they're around. My list of movies that I never got around to watching is significant, so I'd be a good candidate for a regular movie night. I also enjoy card games/board games/video games, so if we ever have friends/visitors over, I'm your guy for Cards Against Humanity and other entertainment. I'd say mainly looking for teamups, so we're sharing the adventure of a new place, but happy to come across a good offer from someone already situated. Ideally looking to live with 1 to 2, maybe 3 other people. Oh, and I also have a Costco Membership, so score for you guys!
P/S: Will listen to your sappy stories if (unfortunately) you get dumped or talk about how random life is til 4 am Hello! I'm JJ, 21. Currently a research student at Melbourne Uni and looking to move. I am a very outgoing person and love to socialize so am always up for a drink or two cause well, duh. During my free time I also love to hang out with some friends or do some activities together and am down for pretty much *anything*! Heck, throw me a bone I'll even play fetch with you (not literally but you get the idea). Oh Netflix can be fun too. I've lived abroad before when I was an exchange student in the US and have done a fair bit of backpacking alone so I've lived with many others from different backgrounds and cultures and would like to consider myself a pretty tolerant and respectful person. Also get along with people pretty easily. Respect all boundaries and stuff a sock in my mouth to shut me up if need be though I like to keep things less intense. Ideally I'm looking for people I can talk to and rant about how shitty my day went, not a breathing creature that moves in the house! Hit me up if you think I can be a good fit for your place and I'm sure we can get along fine!
I'm an outgoing, 24 year old American with a love of Italian food, hot yoga and traveling. I'm looking to find a place to call a home, with some clean, chill people who understand privacy/space but could also catch up over a drink or a cuppa.
Friendly and easy-going gal from Darwin. Looking for a private room preferably in CBD or close to city, girls only!!! and would be great if around same age as me (early 20s). Wanting to move to Melbourne to pursue a job career. I get along great with other people and believe I'd be an awesome person to share with :) As i've recently just moved I would love the chance to meet new people! Always down for a drink or shared dinner but also respect privacy. My budget per week is $260 and would prefer that included all bills or at least most of the bills. Move in date is now!! preferably, but can be flexible :) If you have any questions at all just ask!
Previously living in Gold Coast yet relocated to Melbourne and now studying aviation at Moorabbin Airport. I'm 19 male, quiet at times and really do respect the need of others' private space. I am also an amicable person who enjoys sharing my fascination with indie music. If you have a place and don't mind a guy joining you. Hit me up!
Hey! my name is Elisa and I am from the north of Italy. I would describe me as a very sociable, respectful and openminded person. I am an exchange student at the William Angliss University. I am looking for an apartment to share with other friendly people which also like to go for a drink together or to have a chat. I am tidy, organised, I value my own personal space and respect others. In my free time I like to see the most of Melbourne and its surroundings and to spend time with friends.
Hello! I'm looking to join a friendly household that has the right balance of hanging out together and doing our own thing. I work full-time as a youth worker, and in my spare time I'm either spending it with my boyfriend/friends/family, dragging myself outside to exercise, cooking vegetarian food, or parking myself on the couch to watch terrible tv. I'm considerate and respectful of others, and I love having a laugh/sharing dog videos to balance out the seriousness of my work. My other loves include hunting down the best brunch spots in Melbourne, going to a few gigs and music festivals here and there, and baked goods. My ideal housemates are around the same age or older, working full-time, easygoing, and tidy. I'm hoping to be moved in somewhere by mid-April/early May so give me a shout if you think we'd be a good match! :)
Hello people! Im from Canberra and i just graduated from my uni. Looking forward to start my new chapter in Melbourne. I am fun, neat and very respectful. I also have a car and happy to drive around exploring Victoria or to do grocery shopping. Cheers!
Hey guys and gals, I'm a 20 something 9-5 professional looking for a place with two or less people. I'm interested in keeping fit and meditation. I like to keep to myself during the week, as I have a pretty demanding job, however I do love to cook for others when I have the time and my weekends are very social.
