hello future roomies I'm currently on the hunt for a new roommate, a run down on the details so the place I'm currently at lease is slowly creeping up, so, therefore, I'm searching for a new place and with that, I'm searching for a new roomie. my ideal place is in the western suburbs somewhere between Newport to Seddon this gives you the closeness to the beaches of Williamstown, the city and city views of Melbourne and a great shopping day at Highpoint. about me I'm originally from NSW who moved to Melbourne at the start of 2015 for university where I study Entertainment management full time, alongside working full time in a restaurant in Williamstown (meaning there will always be Italian food in the fridge for you to eat), an advantage of this is you pretty much get the house to yourself 24/7, I'm tidy and respectful, but don't mind having that social aspect and wouldn't mind making a friend out of a roommate about you my preference on you would be tidy though I don't care about your room (that's your space), be able to pay rent and bills on time, wouldn't mind a chat or drink every know and then if you're interested in getting a share house please don't hesitate to give me a message
I'm a single 40 year old female who works full time. I'm looking to share with preferably a female so we can hang out together sometimes. I have a 3 year old cavalier dog. She is well behaved, good natured and house trained. I'm outgoing and friendly, not into parties but like to chill with a glass of wine after a busy week. I'm very clean and am happy to contribute to keep the house tidy. I've shared with people before so am used to getting along with others. Looking for a place as close to the city as possible but most importantly near a train/tram line. Happy to drive up to half an hour to either. Pretty flexible when it comes to location. Happy to take on a long-term lease.
i am a good guy i love helping out in the house i like parties and i like to drink wine and spirits
Working holiday visa holder from LA. Work in hospitality and advertising. I'm a quiet, super tidy, and respectable roomie, though I do like to socialize over a beer or community meal now and again. Looking for the same in flatmates. As for my interests, I enjoy travel, hiking, photography, sports, film, music, craft beer, wine, food, dessert, exercise, and discovering the best in every city I step foot in. I also enjoy people reading my messages and ignoring them, with the occasional sarcasm. Will Ferrell is my spirit animal.
Hey there, my name is Jahla. I'm in the hope of finding a stable and affordable home to share with someone who is reliable, I am NOT looking for a share room. I'd probably describe myself as pretty chilled, respectful, easy going, positive, fun and social person. I am super clean, so i try to keep the mess to a minimum. I have my own car and license which provides independence.. I'd preferably would like to share with another female, but at the end of the day as long as we can live together comfortably and happily that's all that matters. Regardless of my age I am very independent and mature and able to cater to my own needs. I work full time in Docklands so ill be out from Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. If you'd like to know more about me, or ask any questions feel free to message me. Look forward to meeting my future flat mate :)

Hi, I am looking for a nice relaxed place to live, I would like my own ensuite lounge room /or study but that is not a deal breaker ceiling fans and or aircon would be nice. I am a writer/director working on the third draft of an Aussie Comedy hoping to shoot on the film late 2017 if I can raise the budget. I am a clean tidy considerate person who has a great sense of humour, I like a laugh a meal and a glass of wine, but I also value my space and give you yours. At the moment I will be writing from home hence the study or my own lounge, or even granny flat or studio, looking for an office next year. I am studying film editing on final cut pro. I do have a nine year old WELL TRAINED AND LOVED DOG AND A LITTLE BLACK CAT so it important that they have a little space and are safe. I am flexible with moving dates my lease is up on the 9th of October so any time after that is good for me, I am really looking for the right home. Cheers Peita:)
I'm looking for someone who would like to move out with my dog Ruby and I between now and the end of the year. So far I keep to myself in my room due to a lack of a space and people to socialise with. This would probably different in the right place and with the right people. I like to cook. And willing to share a meal or two. While I hate washing up its usually done within two days. I just like a clean sink first. Easy to live with don't care about much. Just don't pee in the backyard. Ruby is a fur monster so if you mind pet hair you won't be happy. She's loveable and friendly. Just keep her away from rubbish, waterbottles, toothbrushes & human food. It's like living with one big furry toddler. Backyard big enough for Ruby. No more than 2 other people.
Hey im Richie 32 yrs old student looking to move closer to tafe this November. I am looking for a place in the city or the Willamstown area near the trade school im attending, it is only 3 days per week so I should only be in the house for half the week! Added bonus! Hi ... I'm vegan, lead very healthy lifestyle, practice meditation/spirituality, like balance in life, dancing/singing/music and looking to share with mature, positive housemate on similar journey. I like my house environment clean, tidy, peaceful quiet and relaxed. I enjoy my space, but also enjoy a laugh or good conversation with my housemate. My future housemate must also like a similar home environment, but no party animals thanks as that stage of my life is long gone :). Only looking to share with one other. My new home will also have to be close to public transport, gym, shops etc as I don't have a vehicle. I need unfurnished room, as have my own bedroom furniture. Prefer master room with ensuite, and as I have a lot of girly stuff a walk in wardrobe would be ideal :) I'm currently living in a share house in Sanctuary Lakes, and prefer to find something in same area. Send me a msg on here, if my profile is what you are also looking for, and we'll go from there .. Regards Tracey :)

Hi - I'm Glenn. I have a long history working in the helping type fields such as nursing and psychology with multiple undergraduate and post graduate degrees. I am very caring, empathic, considerate and have always been compassionate towards others, regardless of who they are or where they've been. I guess humility, acceptance and openness are some of my key values/traits and although my path is not the same as others, I love to hear about other people's past experiences and their hopes and visions for the future. More recently, I have been focusing on my music composing and looking at how I can use my skills to generate an additional income whilst doing something that I have always loved. Initially, I have created alliances with video game developers to provide background music, but I have always wanted the music I write to be more uplifting than to purely motivate people to slay the purple dragon and find the blessed magic brussel sprout (Clearly with that description, I don't play video games - but hey... that is a great idea for a game yeah??) I'm currently liaising with wedding planners and wedding celebrants to provide personalized music that couples can use as part of their wedding day. Songs that not only express how they feel about each other but promote this love and excitement in others. But, the desire to make people feel special goes much deeper than this. Last year, a friend was suicidal and in a very bad way. She had several admissions to hospital, and some very intense treatment. It was heartbreaking that she was unable to see just how beautiful and special she is and just how much she is love by those around her. I wrote her a song titled "We love you" which tried to remind her of that fact. (You are welcome to listen to it). So, I feel passionate about reminding people when they just cant see it - through music - just how important they really are - I hope I can do that more. I'd love to set up some kind of not for profit organisation where I can write individual, personalized music for people purely to help remind them that they are important. I'm leaning towards the name 'Every Note' because when it comes to music, each note works together to create an overall piece of musical truth and beauty. I think that is just as applicable to people. Every person is inherently important and an integral part of the world. Plus, I think music in its various forms, is so influential on people individually, yet at the same time joins our collective souls. I also LOVE animals - and I have two adorable cats. You don't have to love them - but I could never live with a cat hater. I am their carer, protector, food giver (most importantly) - and they rely on me. Having them is a gift and I don't take that lightly. I need somewhere that they would feel comfortable. I also enjoy doing woodwork as a hobby - although I'm pretty bloody useless at it - but it doesn't seem to have lessened my enthusiasm for some reason. Not sure why that is. I pretty much get on with anyone and seem to be able to find something to talk about. I make a point of making people feel comfortable and welcome without being over the top. I'm probably more mature now and settled and stuff and enjoy more quieter times - but I still tend to get excited over someone saying "Hey.... why don't we....." which usually results in a "*#@^ yeah! That is brilliant" I'm very respectful, considerate, empathic and compassionate, and a great listener. But, I'm also sensitive to other people's needs and respect my own and others personal space. Oh and I also make a point of trying to do volunteer work where I can - that has previously included cleaning out, washing dog yards at the RSPCA, being a welcomer/cuppa person for people attending the Salvation Army who are experiencing difficult times, to try and make them feel at ease, Hon secretary for community support group and I am currently volunteering as Treasurer for a not for profit, community support group. As a bonus I also come with an unlimited supply of lame jokes and am the person to have on your trivia team if the subject "Hits of the 80's"ever comes up. Probably crapped on enough. Cheers Glenn
My name is Matty and I work as both a professional drummer and as a scientist. I am looking to move into an existing share house, or to start a new one with a garage for my music gear and practice. Being a professional drummer that is chasing a goal of being largely successful I am in need a garage (ideally unattached from the house) to accommodate my practice. I Only practice until approximately 9pm of an evening (I get home from work at 6) and I don't ever start before midday on the weekends, keeping in mind too that I regularly have rehearsals and gigs and things so it doesn't happen at full volume every day but as regularly as I can fit it in which ends up being about 3 times per week - so not really much at all. Personality wise I am, friendly, approachable, confident, logical, dedicated and love meeting new people and being social (when I have time for it). I have lived in several share houses over the last 8 years and have no problem adapting to new environments and personalities. I love a good chat and I love people. I am an avid musician and get into the footy a little bit (I grew up in the country, I'm sorry :P ). I also try to hit up the gym a few times a week. I'm clean and very much want the people I live with to be clean and tidy.. my room is usually out of control, but everywhere else in the house is always tidy and clean. As I mentioned, I am very much working towards developing a successful musical career, so moving into a place that I can set my drumming up in a garage is on the top of my priority list, followed immediately by having awesome housemates! Ideally it would be great to have housemates that can I get along well enough with to have a beer and go out for a meal but that also have their own independent lives going on. Between working full-time, rehearsing, touring and performing, I go between being home most nights to being out or away for (seemingly) weeks at a time. I have "done my time" so to speak, in uni party houses and have outgrown such living circumstances, thus, I am clean and tidy and respectful of the need to keep the place that way. This doesn't mean I don't love a party, which I do, but, am just looking for reasonable common sense/courteous type people, and also having a kitchen that I am not afraid to cook in! Also - I will be overseas in Central America and California from late September until early November - thus, I'm looking for somewhere to move in the first 2 weeks of November for at least 1 year.
hey! I was wondering if you think the room will still be available from the 16th of November. My current lease ends then, and would like to find somewhere new :D i can't answer calls at the moment abit about me: - 24, latrobe uni student (Bachelor of Science-zoology), about to start volunteering at the melbourne zoo and a lifeguard at the melbourne sports and aquatics centre. - a bit quiet and shy, but easy going, social and friendly and always up for a good chat
Andy here. 35Yr Caucasian, im a superviser at a transport logistics company and enjoy music surfing and golf. Looking to relocate around the inner melb area asap. Im honest reliable friendly very polite and respect others 😄
I'm a 21 year old Dutch-Balinese working between 2 jobs, yay! Currently looking for a place to call home and live with awesome people. Besides work, I "try" to be fit and train at the gym. I do enjoy some alone time but also Love socialising like going out for drinks and eating food (I'm really good at that). I'd also love to cook yummy food and binge watch Game of Thrones and other awesome movies/tv shows while drinking beers with friends once a week, like family Sunday dinner or something like that. I'm super chilled, very neat and clean. Some people say I'm very shy at first but once you've cracked that shell, I'll probably be the most bubbly and weirdest person you'll meet. Anywho, hit me up if you think I'd be the ideal housemate for you :)
I hope to find a place where the cost of bills, internet and rent total less than $250 a week. I'm not expecting to have to move till late October/November. I have lots of kitchen tools etc, a microwave and my own bedroom furniture which I want to keep, so no furnished room offers please. I do not wish to share a room with anyone either, sorry. I'm neat and prefer a clean house. Don't have a car, so would prefer to be close to a train stop. And I would like the use of a bath and washing machine. I'm very interested in crafts, and need space for both my study and this interest - promise not to spread myself around. I love to garden, bake, ride my bike and enjoy a glass of red from time to time. I am friendly, caring, respectful of others and their space and happy to make arrangements about food, chores etc. I love dogs, hate cats and won't stand reptiles. Happy to live with children. Next year is my last year of study for my P-12 teaching degree. I study at Vic Uni and can be at St Albans one day and Footscray the next. I also work full time in Melbourne's CBD. Happy to answer any questions.
Hello :) My name is Amanda I’m 23 years old and I have a 10 month old staffy, Tilly. We are looking for a place to live in the western suburbs of Melbourne. I work full time in childcare, Tilly stays outside when I am not home but she likes to be inside with me when I am home and she sleeps in my bed every night. She loves other dogs so even better if you have another pupper for her to play with! I've been in private rentals the past four years so I am reliable with rent, clean and tidy. Tilly and I just want a place to call home and we are ready to move in asap. If you think we would be a suitable addition to your home, or have any questions, please feel free to message me!
Hi there, I am a sculptor and writer, who is looking for a new abode. I am a responsible, fairly laid back person who is happy to socialise but also like my own space. I love music, cooking and pottering in the garden (provided there is one). Cheers, Penelope
I am a 22 year old who recently moved from Toronto, Canada to Melbourne. I am on a work holiday visa, and will be here indefinitely for the next six months, perhaps longer. I am looking to stay in a place with some mates around my age for a couple months. I am laid back and tidy!
Hi, I want to live in a communal house where people are kind to each other and have fun. I play music, mainly drums and have an electronic kit; which is great for not bothering people too much. I also enjoy guitar and singing. I'm an easy going and caring person, can well and always clean up after myself. Happy to live in sort of person, sex, gender as long as they are friendly. I'm studying counselling at the moment so bring on your issues ;) I don't really party. I enjoy exercise and practice meditation. Any suburbs that are affordable and are gateways for fun experience, such as Footscray and Reservoir of interest to me. I'm a good teacher so anyone wanting to learn drums or guitar step right up. I also love to play music with people. Have a great day ! James
