Hey I'm Aaron, a 25 year old creative designer that's working full time in Brisbane. Currently, I live in the Newmarket area and preferably looking for a place not too far from there. My current living situation (which is only ending because the owners are selling the house) is with three other females - we've lived together for the past 2 years but unfortunately it comes to an end! I'm a pretty relaxed, no stress, clean and tidy kinda guy who understands the need for personal space but also doesn't mind a good chat or quality hang time with friends too. Being a graphic designer I spend most of my weekdays at work making things to look pretty on a computer... but after hours I play both social and competitive Netball. On weekends you'll probably catch me playing netball (again ha), mountain biking, jet-skiing, hanging with friends or even back on the computer catching up on all my favourite TV shows. I've only been in the Brisbane scene for the past two years so it'd be nice living with housemates that occasional embark on odd excursion out of the house here and there. Otherwise the general cleanliness & respect you'd want from anyone else without being a total OCD control freak would be great! Send me a message if you're interested.
Hey hey! My names Ellen. I currently work full-time five days a week and do uni on my days off so my weeks are fairly busy. I like to keep my living spaces clean and organised. On weekends I love to see a live band when I can but usually i keep it to a few casual drinks with friends. I'm hoping to keep to the north side of Brisbane, close enough to my work. Seeking laid back, easy going company with a few people in a share house or one other in an apartment with own bathroom. I own a fridge and washing machine that I can share to the household and unlimited internet for $60 a month. Looking forward to hearing from you!
Just recently moved to beautiful Australia from my native Canada with a full time job starting up in the area which I'm pretty excited to move forward with! I'm not high maintenance whatsoever, I have no allergies or anything, hygiene is KEY, I don't smoke, however if you do I'm alright with it. NO JUDGEMENT. I like to think I see the good in all people and hopefully you will too :) I get along with many different types of people,(of course mainly the respectful ones.) I'm all about positivity, of course I got to live up to my friendly Canadian stereotype. I like to do my part, I got no problem cleaning anything anytime no matter what but of course I'm no housekeeper. (clean as you go). but yea all things considered, good vibes, I CANNOT wait to start this new step here. Il be working about 5-6 days a week in this period of time so il be busy but love to enjoy my downtime watching Netflix and whatnot. I like to write, read, work out, cook, and of course Spotify is like a hobby to me in its own. I sometimes teach English online depending on my schedule, its just something I enjoy doing. THANKS FOR READING :)
I am a French-Canadian teacher. I have been here for 5 years now. I love to connect with people, learn new languages, dance swing, cook something healthy and yummy and share it. On the weekend I enjoy trekking, looking at birds, reading & catching up with friends. I am environment conscious. I like to meditate, and I like to work from home in a clean and peaceful environment. Things you should know; I have a weird English accent now. And I am happy to pet and play (a lot) with any animal that you might have!
Fully qualified hairdresser, just moved back to Aus from a working holiday in Canada! Happy, bubbly, love listening to music, hanging out and meeting new people! Clean and tidy also very respectful of people’s space!
Hi my name is Alina, i'm an 18 year old student who is looking to move out sometime between 2019-2020. I'm a fun loving, chilled kinda gal, I love music and going to gigs (so roommates who enjoy good vibes and live music would be amazing) and always down for a drink or two. I like to keep things neat tidy, organised and enjoy my own time as well. I am currently working as a waitress in South Bank meaning I work most nights. I have enrolled for university 2019 and currently hold a diploma in Event Management. That's pretty much it, feel free to contact me and more then happy to tell you more about myself.
Hellooo, my name's Abbey, I'm easy going and will pretty much get along with anyone. I'll probs be a lil shy and awkward to begin with but once I'm comfortable that won't last long, well the awkward will, I'll forever be an awkward turtle. Anyways......... Ive been living out of home for a year and I'm keen on making some new friends in the process of house hunting. So, I would love a place where we can chill and have a chat but will also be very respectful of personal space. I'm not gonna lie and do the usual "I'm very clean and tidy" because in my own space I can be a lil bit messy butttt I'm very tidy when it comes to shared spaces and I will always clean up after myself. I work part time as an child and aged care worker (yes I know very different ends of the spectrum) and I'm studying fulltime at QUT doing a BA in Human Services. I'm an amateur photographer who loves to explore and star gaze. I love to cook, am obssesed with stripes & quirky socks and absolutely adore animals, so any type of animal is a massive plus. I'm a vegetarian so it'd be awesome to live with some fellow vegos but that's not a must, just a bonus. People who know how to keep plants alive would also be a massibe bonus and I would love y'all forever because I love plants but can't keep them alive to save myself. My current lease ends on the 10th of Jan but I can move as early as the 1st if need be. I'll need parking of some sort as I've got a lil red thang that just functions as a car (I'm happy with anywhere as long as I've got somewhere) Well that's a lil bit about myself, I'll stop rambling now but if ya think I'll suit your home flick me a message as I'd love to hear a bit about yourself & your house 😊
I work full-time at a financial planning firm in Newstead and live alone in the same area at the moment also. I’m very clean and respectful and love time to myself, but also love going out on the weekends, eating out, going to the beach etc. I'm looking for an apartment or townhouse in the Newstead / Bris City area and would prefer to start up a new place than move somewhere already set up.
Hi everyone, I'm Marco, 31, and I will soon move to Brisbane to start my student visa. I'm a tidy and respectful person, well, probably nobody has ever said otherwise ;-). I'd describe myself as a friendly and easygoing guy, who will probably be very busy with the study, work and gym. I'd rather have my single room but I'm open to share the room with the right person. I don't mind living with smokers and I love cats. I need a parking space for my vehicle, it doesn't matter if it's on/off street or whatever kind of park it is. That's all for now. Thanks everyone Marco
hello, I am originally from Germany and migrated to Australia in 2014. I have finished school this year and I am looking to take a gap year to work either multiple jobs as part time or one full time job, I have been working at Bunnings for the past two years and will continue as I enjoy being and working with people. In my free time I like to exercise and I am currently learning how to surf, I love being around people and I absolutely put emphasis on everything involving food. I am very out going and open and excited to meet new people, at times I do appreciate some quite time to myself, read or just go for a walk.
Working professional, and pretty quiet during the week. In my free time and on weekends I'm generally out and about seeing friends, brunching, yoga/pilates, hiking, markets. I'm tidy and respectful and value my down time but I also think it's important to have a good friendship with the people/person you are sharing a home with. I own a couch, washing machine and a cherished moroccan rug I bought in Morocco recently! Also have the kitchen essentials pretty much covered. Ideally I would like to find someone like-minded to team up with and find a place of our own. I'm hoping to move January and looking to stay around the inner northern suburbs. Reach out if you want to catch up and see if we would be a good fit.
Hey there! I’m Courtney, I work a bartending job in New Farm, a waitressing position in Virginia, and study Criminology in Mount Gravatt. So that’s roughly all of Brisbane covered 👍🏼 I’m looking for a place within 10mins to 15mins drive of new farm/city area My schedule is busy so I’m not home a lot, however as I work night shifts I need a place that’s quiet so I can sleep after shift working. I have 2 small cockatiels, which live in my room at current sharehouse and are not a drama for me or my housemates. I usually sleep late due to working nights so they don’t often wake till 10am. Prefer a place without cats as that could be an issue with the birds. Doesnt bother me living with males/females/ couples as long as everyone cleans after themselves. I’m single so no partners to worry about. I’ve been sharehouse living since I was 18 and I’d consider myself a pretty clean, self sufficient housemate. Any questions shoot me a message. Cheers Courtney
Clean couple, looking for a team up for a new apartment or townhouse, looking around mid January onwards. Looking for a place anywhere from about mount Gravatt to Brisbane city to Windsor. Easy people to get along with 😁 if you want to know anything more give us a message
Hi there! I'm Lauren! Originally from Melbourne, but been in Brisbane for 2 year now. I'm studying at ACU and am very easy going, tidy and respectful. I will generally be out most weekends exploring or finding a new mountain to hike :) During the week, I like to cook and will admit to the occasional reality/ trash tv watching! I'm not a party person, although I do like the occasional glass of wine here and there. I'm hoping to join a clean, tidy and relaxed apartment and hopefully make some new friends
I am a Canadian travelling to Australia on a working holiday visa beginning in January. I currently work as an auto mechanic, but I have previously worked and studied culinary arts in a high end restaurant. My hope is to return to this career path during my stay in Brisbane, and wouldn’t mind cooking dinner every now and again to show off my skills. I don’t smoke, and I am a relatively clean and organized person. I tend to fit well in any kind of social group so I’m easy to get along with. Overall I just try to have fun and just enjoy my time, as well as my time with others as much as I can, and try to get the most out of life, and hopefully this matches with a potential flatmate looking to take me in on my long term holiday!
Hello, I’m Madii and I’m looking for a new living arrangement. I’m a friendly, neat and respectful person who is looking for a fairly quiet place to live with people I get along with. I’m fairly introverted/ can keep to myself/ bit of a homebody but like to have a chat or watch tv/ movies with housemates. I consider myself pretty nerdy and like going to the cinema, seeing live music, stand up comedy, video games, plants, cooking/baking, crafting and relaxing with a cup of tea. I work casually and am on centrelink but I am always on time with rent and bills, and earn enough to support myself comfortably. I am also actively seeking more work and/or full time employment. I like to keep my space and my home very clean and am looking for people similar. Ideally, I would prefer sharing with just one other person in a 2bed apartment, but I am open to more people and to houses/ townhouses as well. I love dogs and am open to people with pets, as long as they are approved by the real estate/ property manager/owner and are cleaned up after and well-trained. I don’t drink but don’t mind if you do, but I’m not looking for a party house or people who have guests/ partners over all the time. Not interested in living with couples, smokers or drug users. I would prefer something in or very close to Chermside, for work and convenience, but can look elsewhere if need be. I have my own car and would require a parking space, preferably off-street. I get along well with pretty much anyone and am respectful of different cultures, religions, lifestyles and only ask the same, but LGBTQI+ friendly is a requirement for me. I have multiple references as being a good housemate and hope you will consider me! I’m open to team ups as well as existing rooms. I also can bring a lot to a new place! I have a good amount of furniture + appliances for common spaces if need be, and I have a spare king single bed for sale for cheap if you need one.
I am a genuine, honest person. Pretty easy going and very clean/house proud, I've been in my own place and am looking to move somewhere with a yard and aircon and more people 😂 I love a good chat and an adventure! I like learning languages and doing puzzles. I have a cat called Archie - he's like a teenager at the moment - he'll love you and then leave you alone. I'm looking for a housemate who has similar traits and wants to join in on making the house a really homey, friendly and supportive place to live 😊
Hi potential housemates! I'm Kenny, 33, born and grew up in Melbourne. I moved to Brisbane this year for uni (studying physiotherapy at ACU with another 3 years to go). I've just completed my 1st year phew! Currently living in a lovely house, but am looking for a place that is a little closer to uni and not too expensive. I'm on centrelink, but that only covers the rent/bills, and doesn't leave a lot of spending money! I'll probably be working part time during uni hours (as a sports trainer) and often go back to Melbourne during the holidays. In my spare time, I enjoy writing music / playing guitar (working on my 1st album - so if you're a musician, that's a bonus!). I'm also into films/youtube/games. I prefer to go out during weekends. Always on the lookout for new places so I'm open to any suggestions! Interesting things about me - I'm a qualified remedial massage therapist so if you've got any gym injuries, I may be of use. I also used to be a high school music teacher. If you think you'd like to meet me and feel that we might be a match, please send me a message! Kenny
Hi! I’m Shelby, and I’m 24 years old. I work in a permanent full time capacity in Brisbane CBD. I am a very clean and neat person and like to live a somewhat minimalist lifestyle. I don’t have any pets, and I am not big on parties (more a quiet wine at the end of the week!). I’m starting from scratch, so furnished rooms only please! I will treat your possessions as if they were my own. I’m available to move in from end of December 2018 onwards.
