Am a quiet, clean, relaxed person. Respectful of others space, property. I always clean up after myself. Like to do yard, house work. No drama, no pets, non-smoker. I drink occasionally and like the beach lifestyle. I am originally from the USA but live in Australia now. Have decided on finding a place in either the Wollongong or Goulburn areas. I cannot live with a cat and wanted to be upfront about that.
Hi I'm Teresa. 40+ish Female, easy to get along with, sociable but also respectful of space (yours, mine & ours), working & trying to complete studying. I'm seeking minimum 1yr, accommodation/non-furnished room, with covered off street parking for my motorcycle, and 'if possible' an additional 1.5m x 3m approx...storage space. I do the occasional spirit or wine, enjoy music, movies, cook a few times a week, and work a range of hours: permanent part-time early morning (Mon-Fri) and casual 2-3 evening hours (Wed-Sun). Please message if I could be a likely candidate. Thanks for reading and have a nice day Teresa (:
I am a youth worker and a community worker so I'm often quite busy but I looove downtime! I like to think that I'm respectful and kind! I like to socialise with housemates but if you're not super into that I understand. I do like to have friends around from time to time, but I am super flexible around people who need to study (I just finished a 5 year degree, I get it!). Some things I look for in a housemate: - Friendly - Good communication, if anything goes wrong or something needs to change I like to be able to talk about it so we can work together! - Door ninja! Please don't let my cat out! - LBGTQI+ - You don't have to be a drinker or a smoker but please don't hate on me for having a drink or two every now and then, you're welcome to join the fun!
I am a PhD student at the university and looking for a peaceful location. I am a clean and tidy person, responsible enough to pay the bills in time. Would love to go for an evening walk and sip a cup of coffee with the housemate. Overall mature and fun loving who respects the privacy of other people.
I am Marcus, 32 years of age, and a PhD research student. I will come to Wollongong in the beginning of November to work at the UOW. I have been in Australia before, but just for a few weeks of traveling and now I am looking forward to the opportunity to work in this beautiful country and explore it at the same time. Experience and life in Shared apartments: During my studies and professional life in Germany and Spain I lived in quite a few shared apartments with people from all kinds of backgrounds and nationalities. I experienced shared living both as a student and as a worker and felt comfortable in either situations. I am a clean and responsible flatmate, who enjoys conversations or shared meals over a beer or glass of wine. If wanted, I happily cook some European dishes as well. I am pretty easy going in terms of shared living - as I see it, a good mix of both communal and private time has been a nice Aufteilung live by. I learned a motto from an Australian that I met, which I try to live by - no worries, take it easy. My interests and some personal information: Of course, you may also wanna get an impression of me as a person. Well, surprise, surprise - I love to travel and did so a lot. I have lived so far in the US, Germany, Spain and New Zealand. I love the outdoors (hiking, running, outdoor sports etc.), being in nature in general I would say. Above all, I love the ocean, sail and dive as a hobby and recently started surfing. I plan to continue practicing surfing in Wollongong and hope to catch some nice waves :). Besides nature and outdoors, I hang out with friends and family, do amazing trips with them, and enjoy reading and writing as well.
I'm a physio and I have just relocated to Wollongong for work. I have a staffy called Chewy who is currently still in Wagga and I can't wait to get up here with me. He's a little bigger than in the picture these days. I own my own place in Wagga, and have a house full of furniture to bring with me. Including a second bed if you're super stuck for one. I love coffee, tunes, my mates, laughs, wine, cocktails, beer, food, sarcasm, my dog and dance floors. I tend to keep my place pretty clean, I can be untidy but tend to keep that in my own room. I don't smoke, am pretty healthy, enjoy the gym when I have a training buddy, walking Chewy, and spending time with my mates.
Hey! I am a uni student keen to move to the gong in November for a while. I am very clean and chilled when it comes to shared living ive happily lived in a few shares before. I like the healthy lifestyle being a Personal Trainer but am also relaxed to a good time on weekends and whenever really. Let me know if you have a room or want to start up a new house by the beach ill bring my speedos! :-p
Emily and I are both very easy going and a little awkward in photos. We love meeting and getting to know new people. We're both university students and are keen to create a space of our own alongside our potential housemates. We are not big drinkers or into partying, but we enjoy a drink every now and then, and a shindig or two.
Hey guys Sean and frances here looking for an affordable place to live for the 2 of us. We are clean and tidy people Sean is actually a bit ocd to be honest. Sean is a part time construction worker and I do some casual house cleaning and am going to be studying soon. We enjoy socialising and having a BBQ or watching movies. We are not party people. And would prefer to not have a party house. We are looking to move as soon as we can as the rent we pay now is too much. We can pay up to 230 a wk. Looking for something that includes bills. Happy to have a chat or answer any questions you might have. Thanks
My top ten click-bait list: 1. Funny as all hell. 2. Moving to the Gong from the Central Coast for full-time work in allied health - so I do have half a brain. 3. I compensate for being a manlet by lifting weights; 4. Yet I had to run into another room once because I cried during Outlander. 5. Used to be in a dance crew - not joking. 6. Free healthcare advice. 7. I do have an "off" button - mentioning Sydney house prices tends to slow me down. 8. Ask me about my awesome scar story. 9. Happy to cook (tasty food) every so often, but you do the dishes! 10. Maybe not a point, but the profiles on here all kind of blend into one after a while, and I wanted to stand out!
Hi. I am a Civil Engineer and have recently moved to Wollongong. At the moment I am Looking for a permanent place as I am in a temporary accommodation. Will be down here for at least 6 months working in a project. I am organized, clean, easy going and enjoy doing sports, I also enjoy a few drinks and a good chat.
Hi there, I work in a professional national role and have just moved to the Kiama area because of this. I'm pretty easy going and laidback. I am reasonably good in the kitchen, and do more than my fair share around the house with chores. I generally swim, cycle or go to the gym most days in spring and summer or whilst the weather is warm enough. Sunday usually has a round of golf mixed up with it. I have a glass half full attitude and am looking for like minded individuals to share with. However, if I can't see the water from my balcony at the start and end of a day, I'm not living my dream..... (slightly south of North Gong Surf Club is my preferred location)
I am looking for some awesome people to share a house with. I am very easy going. I love to keep a clean house. I have lived in shared accommodation before so I know how to be respectful of others. I have a beautiful cat who I would love to bring with me. He is very friendly and loves cuddles. I have plenty of furniture to be able to bring to the house. I will be studying at UOW next year as well as working part time. Please feel free to message me if you would like to either know more or if you would like to meet me :)
Hi All I work for a Relocations Company specialising in assisting Filipino Chefs coming into the country on 457 visas. Our service provides 4 weeks accommodation on their arrival which we pay for them up front. After this time they will either find their own accommodation or you can negotiate with them to stay longer term although you are under no obligation to do so. Accommodation should be fully inclusive of bills, ideally including WIFI and candidates can pay a cash bond equal to 2 weeks on arrival day. We look for single and twin occupancy rooms (no bunk beds) We meet and great at the airport, bring them to their accommodation and also provide a cultural settlement program including travel card, cultural seminar about life in Australia as well as ensuring they have bank account, TFN and super set up. Filipinos are known for having excellent English language skills, being very respectful and also hard working. Locations are varied as they are dependent on their employment location. Most candidates do not drive so accommodation must be within easy reach of reliable public transport that runs later at night due to nature of chef hours or be within walking distance to their place of work. We now have visas lodged for the following locations: *Wollongong x 3 *Manly x 2 *Swansea x 2 *North Melbourne x 1 *Gymea x 3 *Elenora Heights x 1 *Leura x 2 *Brisbane x 1 We now have the following visas APPROVED and are planning deployment to Australia: *Narellan - 1 single room required walking distance to Narellan Shopping Centre - arriving 16 October URGENT *Gregory Hills - 1 x single room - walking distance to Gregory Hills Hotel - arriving 16 October URGENT! Please note: we are unable to commit to a move in date until the visa has been approved. Updated 10/10/17
