Hey, I’m Rebekah (or Bek). I am a really friendly, chilled person - - I love dogs, plants, a comfy home (with cushions and blankets), good food and good vibes. I am a very organised and clean person, and am very conscious of my impact on the environment. I am looking to ‘teamup’ for a new sharehouse. I am currently living in an apartment by myself and I am sure you can understand, it is both expensive and lonely. Looking for 1-2 people who are down to earth, clean, non-smoking, are interested in living a green sustainable lifestyle (or at least in learning more about it) and are ready to have awesome housemate dinners, outings, board game/movie/wine and cheese/anything nights. Property-wise, I am looking for either an apartment or house that is either on the newer side or has been recently renovated, accessible, has parking, and preferably close distance to a train. Please let me know if you are interested!
Hi, I am Rickson(33 y.o), currently living in Melbourne, originally from India. Responsible, clean, tidy, non-smoker, humble and a very easy going person. I will be moving to Brisbane from December hence looking for a place to call home.
We are two friends both studying full-time and working part-time and looking to team up with 1 or 2 others to find a house around the beginning of January, initially for 6 months but with potential to extend for longer. We're always down for a chat and a wine or a good Netflix binge but also respectful of having a quiet space. Looking for people who are friendly and easy going.
Hi Potential New Housemate, My name is John, I'm a 24yrs old Dutch guy who's in Australia since May 2018. To give you an impression of my time in Australia I decided to devide my stay here into periods: - May 2018 - October 2018 The first five months of my stay I have traveled the whole continent by car, together with a friend of mine. After he went back to Amsterdam I decided to stay in Australia for a longer time. - October 2018 - May 2019 To make this possible I had to fulfill my 88 days of farmwork requirements, which I did in the Sunshine Coast. I lived together with the couple Tommy & Jon (40+) in The Glass House Mountains for seven months. A one week AirBnb-stay turned into a small gay household for more than seven months, the best period of my life! - May 2019 - November 2019 Back home in The Netherlands I have worked as an IKEA Sales man for 4 years, so it was an easy step to work for IKEA in Brisbane as well. As soon as my farmwork requirements were fulfilled and my Visa extension was approved I moved to Camp Hill, Brisbane. I've worked as a CheckOut coworker for 6 months at IKEA Logan. - November 2019 - Future At the moment I'm working as a Sales Coworker again at IKEA North Lakes. I'm living in the beautiful area of Lutwyche together with my housemate. Unfortunately the lease of our appartent will run out in January 2020, so I need to search for another place to live for the last 4,5 months of my stay in Australia. My contract at IKEA North Lakes is 40+ hours, what means that I'm away for work a lot. I have my own car as well, so that makes me fully independant. At the moment I've a 24hrs / fortnight contract as a Sales Co-Worker at IKEA Logan. Although this is not a full time contract, I am taking over a lot of shifts from my colleagues. So I will be away for work a lot. I have my own car as well, so fully independant during my stay in Australia. I'm aiming for a place to stay at the Northside of the river where I can stay till the end of my Visa period (May 2020). Are you the potential housemate who can offer that? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- About myself: My spare time consist of a lot of social activities, because I like to catch up with people and learn from them. I'm not a party type at all, but am always in for a casual drink and a chat. That's also the reason that I don't want to live by myself. It's simply too boring. Unfortunately it's still a necessity to mention nowadays.... I'm gay. All my former housemates were very open minded and also accepted me to invite friends to come over for a casual drink and a sleepover every now and then. Please know that I'm someone with a 'professional'-mindset, what means that I am aware of my housemates, their privacy and happy to adjust myself where possible. It's common sense for me to take part in the house hold tasks. A clean and tidy environment is a must for me. Maybe a bit stereotypical, but that's why I rather live with professionals than with students. I'm very curious what you think about my background and my vision of life. Preferably I want to move in as soon as possible, but am open to dates a little bit further in the future. Wanna grab a coffee to discuss the possibilities? Would like to hear from you. Dutch greetings, Gr. John
Self-proclaimed workaholic, I spend a lot of my time at my job at Boost Juice. I also study part-time at QUT. However, on my days off I like to chill with friends, watch Netflix or find a great new cafe. I am looking to share with 1 or 2 other people, I am happy around any animals if there are pets. I enjoy a clean and tidy environment and am looking for people who enjoy the same. I am looking for a home with a friendly and relaxed vibe. I don't own a car, so I am looking for a place with close access to public transport to the city.
Hi there, I’m a 22 year old just trying to make it in this crazy world and need somewhere to stay. I am very clean and tidy to live with, easy going, I like to cook a lot, read and just chill out. I currently work at UQ as a barista but am looking for a more full-time gig to help with my living situation. I’m looking for a private furnished room(absolutely needs a bed) and am happy to share a bathroom and I don’t have pets or a car ☺️
Hi! My name is Hannah, I work part-time as a barista & study architecture online. Looking for potential roommates next year in a spot close to public transport. I’m very tidy & do keep to myself but like to hangout with housemates as well!
Hello, I am Dr. Mastan Shaik from Hyderabad, India. I am holding Permanent Resident Visa, got a job in a pharma company (located in Hamilton) as Scientist and planning to move to Brisbane along with my wife on 25th Dec 2019. Professionally, am a Doctorate having 13 years of experience in pharmaceutical research. Personally, I am a non-smoker, non-alcoholic, non-vegetarian and friendly in nature. Currently, I am looking for a peaceful shared/rented room (1 BHK) for long term stay (min. 6 M) with some basic amenities (bed, personal bathroom, cupboards, kitchen, and internet), near to public transport, the affordable maximum monthly price would be around AUD 1000 (including all bills, negotiable). We would keep the rented room/flat as our own home with proper maintenance and cleaning. Thank you for your time and help:)
Hey, my name is Aidan and I'm looking for some like minded people to move into a share house with. I am 24 years old and a full time student. I work part time during semester and full time outside of semester. I study Town Planning and work in my field. I love music, movies, food and a few beers on the weekend. I'm an easy going, sociable person who is neat and tidy. I'm far from boring and I would love to become good friends with the people I live with. In my spare time I love going for leisurely drives, watching sport or just a good hang out. I go out from time to time and love a good gig. I am a big fan of having music playing as often as possible, at a respectable volume of course. Hoping there's some people out there that think I would be a good person to live with because I definitely think I am.
Very easy going, I am clean and Trustworthy. I live an active lifestyle but also like some downtime. Like a pretty busy social life and enjoy a good time but am also respectful of other people.
Hi. I'm easy going, tidy and polite. I'm looking for somewhere allowing easy access to the Caboolture train line. I don't have a car, but need covered space for 2 bicycles. I've listed my stay length as 6 months, but would potentially be longer, if possible. I work at Burpengary with no plans to leave at the moment. Also listed as moving now, but I'm in no hurry, and must give 4 weeks notice to leave my current place.
The lowdown: Another 20-something, seeking to find a shared house with other 20-something professionals and or students also figuring their lives out too. I do adhere to a routine as much as possible, waking up quite early during workdays, my lights are out by around 9pm to 10pm. With the minimalist lifestyle I try to live out, the possessions I possess can all fit in an entire room (just about). Also, I’m very compliant when it comes to doing my fair share of cleaning. I take up hobbies to get by in my spare time. I’m an outgoing person that would love to socialise at the appropriate times, though I can keep to myself as well too. I don't mind noises, as long as it isn't placing others in serious danger. Work-wise: I'm an Operations Officer at the RBWH. My hours vary as I'm only on contract work, but generally I work dayshifts during Mon to Fri. Final details: • I only punched '6 months' as a minimum length of stay, but I would be open to extending it depending on the future circumstances • I have my own car, and would prefer a place with a garage, but would make an exception to street parking with a decent shade
