I am 18 years old, please don’t be discouraged by my age. I was born and grew up, here, in Brisbane. I am very easy going, clean, friendly and reliable. For work I work in childcare as an early childhood educator, I usually (99.99% of the time) work 5 days a week... So on the weekends I usually just like to relax and enjoy my me time or have a cheeky night out in town.
27yo Scottish girl working full time at Suncorp. Looking for flatmates who do their own thing during the week and don't mind the occasional weekend adventure or night out
I'm a happy Brisbane born and raised 34 year old gal looking for an inner north side place to call home. NB: If all the words below freak you out then feel free to move on, cos I'm a details girl :P I work full time in furniture and homewares sales. Have completed studies in floristry and interior design. Love an indoor plant here and there 🌱🌿 Equally happy relaxing at home (ideally on a breeze filled deck) or being a social butterfly out and about. I would not call myself a fitness person, but being on my feet all day helps keeps things in check and i'm hoping to getting back into yoga and salsa classes this year. I'm all sorted for my bedroom furniture (queen size room needed). I have the following items that I can contribute to the common areas if need be but I don't have to bring them: 3 seat sofa - dark tan leather; Small storage buffet; a few kitchen everyday basics and counter appliances. I would also be happy to purchase other furniture/homewares through my work if need be 😉 Living in a household of 2 - 4 people would be my pref, and if any partners also stay over a couple nights a week I don't mind as long as they are respectful lovely people, I'm supportive of people finding love :) A nice outlook from my room and the living area is important to me (bonus points for big trees) A large wardrobe, en-suite and off street parking is a must. Ideally... Aircon, ceiling fans and security flatscreens through out. And allllll for $240 odd a week!? That’s not asking for too much is it?! 🤣 Budget: $200 - $245 (plus bills) Move Date: Between now and April (as I could use my mums place as an inbetweener if need be) but IDEALLY the end of Jan / first week of Feb, as that would mean only 1 move which I'd prefer. Pets: I don't have any... but I love dogs of all sizes. NO CATS PLEASE... yes they're cute but unfortunately I'm allergic to them.
Hi future flatmate. I'm Jiyun from S.Korea. About me I'm working on Mon - Fri in the city. I'm tidy, reliable, respect others privacy and always pay the rent on time. Looking forward to hearing from you. Sincerely Jiyun
Hey! I'm Hussain, 28 and currently a full-time student and also work at the airport. I enjoy new experiences, keeping fit at the gym, hiking and just being in nature. I love the occasional socializing and a drink or two every now and then. Clean, tidy and respectful. I'm also a pretty good cook ;) Ideally, I would love to be great friends with my future housemate(s) in that we get along, do things such as cook, eat, chill and hang out every now and then (no pressure haha) as opposed to being mere tenants with shared living spaces - it's not a prerequisite as i do understand we all have busy lives and varying schedules. The idea of a home rather than a house has always appealed to me:) Preference for residences next to or at walking distances from bus/train stations and supermarkets etc.
Hey I'm Sofie, I'm a 24 year old psychotherapist, just landed a new job in Adelaide Street in the CBD. Looking for a place with a ten or fifteen minute commute to work, preferably on the north side. If you've got a master bedroom up for grabs or a room with it's own bathroom that'd be ideal! I'm relaxed and easygoing as they come, love getting to know people but tend to keep to myself at home just because work can be mentally draining. Like things pretty clean and will pull my weight around the house but won't catch me throwing tanties over anything. Please hit me up if you think I'd suit your place!
Hey! My name is Shaun, I’m 23 years old and working full time in the city. I’m a clean housemate (but not OCD), love to have a laugh and hangout, but I also respect others privacy and need for space. (I’m really not good at talking about myself but feel free to ask whatever you want)
Work full time moving over from New Zealand to work as a territory manager. Enjoys cooking and exercise. Love to have a wine and socialise. I’m a foodie! Love finding new cafes or restaurants. I’m a nail tech aswell so you might be lucky enough for me to do your nails 😉 Looking forward to meeting like minded people. Wanting a place with a en-suite, car park and air con in bedroom.
Hi, I am an easy going person, I work full-time as a Civil Designer and study part-time, I like to watch movies, listening to music, dance and enjoy a conversation, very respectful and organized, I am a Colombian Citizen with permanent residency in Australia. I am looking for a nice place to live, organized and quiet.
Hey, I'm a kind, fun, creative dude who likes a good kitchen chat. Love cooking, (wouldn't mind sharing cooking sometimes) health and fitness, the outdoors, creativity and socialising. Got a little espresso machine and a little record player. Currently learning guitar and vocals so a musical or creative household would be ideal! I'm super tidy and would like to join a tidy house. Very organised guy so i'm all over them bills. Otherwise really chill! Looking for a place with air con (ideally in the room), a dishwasher, multiple bathrooms or ensuite and hopefully a pool! Ideally an apartment close to a train station too. sidenote: I can't do cats. Allergic. I'm pretty chill about smokers and I don't mind the occasional spliff but don't enjoy stoner houses tbh.
Hi I'm Ashleigh. I am an easy going gal, looking to downsize from my current roommate situation of 4 people to something a little more manageable like 2 people. I work full time as a nurse doing shift work so routine isn't necessarily my thing but I am a very clean and tidy person and like to maintain clean common areas. I like to chat and socialise with my housemates but also respect people's space and privacy when needed. I like to exercise when not at work but also enjoy a solid day spent binge watching TV shows/movies if my motivation is on the low side, so I'm hoping to find someone with similar interests. I have 1 furchild - a dog named Marley 🐕 she is getting older now at the mature age of 8. She is a Maltese X Shitzu so she has a very placid nature. Marley is completely toilet trained and is both an inside/outside dog. She also does not shed hair.... So that's a win for you 😄 I own a full house of furniture at my current place so am also willing to contribute stuff to to the house if needed. Realistically I can move in anytime, but I would like to give my current housemates as much notice as possible.
I'm a friendly foody who loves a good chat, great music and fun times... although I've outgrown party life so no party houses thanks! Don't mind social gatherings and dinners now and again, but I also enjoy some quiet and my own space. I play netball and stay pretty active. I'm looking for a clean and tidy place with friendly, chilled and respectful housemates. I work as a nutritionist at a not-for profit and am starting my Masters in late February. Non-smoker, occasional alcoholic beverage drinker, avid coffee drinker!
I'm 24, very neat and tidy. I study business part time and work full time. I'm very outgoing so I would love to move in with someone who enjoys company but also enjoys their alone time! I have a large dog named Wally, he is very friendly and loves to cuddle, he is a mainly outside dog however I do let him inside every now and then. Preferably looking for one other person to move in with, my lease ends on the 25th of Feb so looking to find a place before that. I have a lot of furniture so dont stress if you dont have much. No one over the age of 30 please. Looking for someone neat and tidy, cleans up after themselves, social but enjoys their own space, easy going and has to love my Dog!
Hi there! ... I am a fit, active & easygoing pensioner with European background; looking for shared, LONG-TERM accommodation with one (preferably) other person in the inner Brisbane area. I keep busy with U3A Courses, Yoga+Meditation Classes, listening to Live Music, meeting up with friends, and being involved in various other activities. In other words, I won't be sitting at home, and be in your way all the time. I don't watch TV, prefer to read and listen to the radio instead. I don't smoke, and rarely have a beer at home. As I no longer own a car, I need a place close to public transport. I receive rent assistance from Centrelink, and will require a signature on the application form from a future flatmate. I prefer an unfurnished bedroom with en-suite or own bathroom. Can provide a reference from my present landlady. Finally, I am not a pet-friendly guy. Hope to hear from you soon. With kind regards, Peter!
Hi there, Unfortunately I am in the crappy process of being in a now failed relationship and the current house I share with my partner. (Yes, we have all been there. Overall - I am after a fresh start). Ideally, I am aiming to live with someone positive who likes to take care of themselves and their surroundings, overall a good influence on my general headspace. A little about Tim: Full time shift worker within the government sector. This involves hours all over the show from 3am starts and 2 am finishes on a rotational monthly roster, (so not ideal for everyone). I am not into the party scene or any real craziness at home as right now I am heavily career focused and driven, (although I was a little party child in my 20’s as cabin crew, so I have been there too). However, the odd friend or two for dinner is very welcome on my weekends off. I am 34 but generally act like 64 most days .. ;) Huge animal lover of all shapes and sizes, (namely my dogs and horses). I think animal lovers are quality humans ... Due to the nature and odd hours of my work, days off are spent catching up at home getting any housework or weekly prep done, and hopefully some gardening in. If I feel more energised - I’ll take the horse out for a spin or go to the beach for the day, therefore giving you the house for your time. I am a very clean, tidy, and respectful person of the house I call home and the people I live with. I would hope for the same in return. Not a fan of a messy house or people not pulling their own weight or cleaning up after themselves. You use it - clean it. Tim is houseproud, I will have the occasional drink and chat/laugh when I can. Happy to mingle / socialise when time allows. I do enjoy my own time too as this comes from working day in, day out with the public & people. All bills / rent paid on time and with priority. Looking for potentially a room or house with a good human who has a mature and positive outlook on life with a solid mindset of good vibes. Note; My current lease here ends Feb 1st to which we will go our own ways (at this stage). If I don’t get back to you straight away, my apologies. Thanks Tim
experienced tolerant and respectfull gentleman. History of long term living arrangements 10 years + each No noisy or distastefull habits. Enjoys own and others company, pretty handy, can fix almost anything if needed. Prefer under house unit with 1 car space lockup. cheers alex
hi!!! i’m jordan! myself, my doggies, and my housemate michael are looking for someone cool to live with us! we’re currently applying for houses so thought we should get the ball rolling with a potential new housemate. i have two big dogs. moss - ball obsessed and loves to chat. malu - sooky baby but a bit cranky (malu will only be living with us 1/3rd of the time). the dogs are my babies and they’re quite well behaved but they’re not angels and can sometimes be cheeky so a requirement is that you MUST love dogs and know how to interact with them. we’re looking for someone a bit cool 💃🏼. who maybe doesn’t mind a social drink, knows how to pay rent and bills before they’re due, has their own interests, brings something to the table, doesn’t stay in their room 24/7 but isn’t in our faces all the time. someone with no pets! and most importantly someone CLEAN!!!!!! oh and someone funny!! please be funny. the house will be fully furnished and decorated. lots of plants lots of stuff on the walls... so you only need to bring yourself and your bedroom furniture! we will be happy to apply for a house with you or add you to the lease of a house we get approved for after moving in. we will be moving into our new house (wherever that may be) on 6/2/19 and we’re pretty flexible with someone that wants to move in anytime within the month after that.
I have recently relocated to Brisbane. I am particularly interested in your rental unit because of the nearby amenities, proximity to public transportation, and relatively short commute to work. I have been employed in the service industry for the past ten years and consider my employment secure. I am quiet and respectful of others’ privacy, and have always had a good relationship with my previous landlords. Although I enjoy socializing, I like my home to be a peaceful place. I understand that by entering into a tenancy, I will be taking on legal responsibilities. As your tenant, I am aware that I will need to: • pay the full rent on time, • not unreasonably disturb others, • care for your property, and • otherwise follow the Residential Tenancy Act and the terms of my tenancy agreement. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Hello everyone! My name is Hannah, I am a 24 years old professional working full-time in the city. I currently live on the Gold Coast and commute everyday for work so I am looking for a place closer to work for a better work/life balance. During my spare-time I like to go to the gym, relax, watch Netflix, read, hang with friends, go on adventures etc. I like to have a few drinks and go out every now and then but I am not a big party-goer by any means. I do tend to keep to myself most of the time, however, ideally I'd like to find a place that I can call home and hopefully build some level of friendship with the person/s I am living with. I have a car so an off-street park is ideal. Also interested in teaming up with someone to sign a potential lease together.
