Clean, friendly and a pretty chilled out person. I am a recent graduate of the University of Melbourne, currently working full-time with the aim to go back to uni later this year. Interests include; sports, reading, and cooking.
I'm looking for a furnished private room in a share house within a reasonable distance to Victoria University. I'm a sociable person but also respect the privacy of others, and enjoy my own, and understand that living in a communal environment requires courtesy as well as both the ability to interact with the household and provide personal space for roommates. I'm friendly, generous, and have a good sense of humour as I'm a stand-up comedian, as well as an actor. I enjoy both quiet nights in and longer nights of laughter and general good times. Looking to have an enjoyable and positive first share house experience.
Hello future housemates my name is Maria just currently finished my diploma in beauty therapy and now currently working for Endota. I am a very social person love the company of people but I do understand people need there space to chill and relax by them selfs. Hobbie include taking photos, shopping, hanging out with friends and of course going out to eat. Love a good burger or pizza ! I occasionally like to go for a good walk or do some exercising to stay healthy. Just want to live closer to the city because I am finding it hard traveling to get to work from where I am livin at the moment. I am working almost full time hours so won't be home during the day unless I have a day off. I am just looking for a place where I can get along with my housemates.
Hey I'm Nigel, 29yo Kiwi, however I've been here about 7 years now and have pretty much lost my accent. I'm currently working in the city as a support person for a construction industry web app. I'm fairly respectful of privacy and generally keep to myself unless you want to hang out, in which case I'm usually keen to watch a movie or have a quiet beer and a chat. As for hobbies, I'm big into horror movies, the more occult themed or psychological the better. I own a guitar and have been known to play on occassion but not for some time. I generally try to get to the gym at least 3 or 4 days a week and I like playing xbox, watching a movie or reading to wind down in the evening. I'm currently a smoker, but am really keen to quit so if you're a non-smoking household, that actually may be better, haha I'm not particularly high strung about anything but my only requirement is a reliable wifi connection as I do occassionally need to work from home. If I sound like the kind of person you'd like to share a house with, please flick me a message. I look forward to hearing from you!
Clean, mature, good communicator, easy going, trouble free, Positive and lively. Love summers and the beach that's why like Williamstown, also work there. I have had a colorful life and love traveling Europe, especially my home country Spain. Food, music and dancing are my pleasures. If you have a pet even better, love them. I am on the right sis on the left and mum middle.
Hey! My name is Kevin and I am fairly urgently looking for somewhere permanent to live. I recently moved to Melbourne and work has areanged me temporary accomodation until 29 Jan at the latest. I'm looking to houseshare with some people roughly my age as I settle into the new city. Who I am: I moved interstate for the last 3 years for Uni and have been living with others the whole time. I'm super chill and spend the majority of my spare time outdoors! I love watching movies, snowboarding, playing soccer and Im a very well travelled person. On weekends you'll generally find me exploring the local area, or at the beach/snow depending on the season. I also have a job working in the logistics industry. My ideal housemates: I'd like to have housemates that I could socialise with and show me around. I understand the need for personal privacy and 'me time' but it'd kinda suck to have roomies who couldn't even catch a movie together, right? If you have a pet, that's also an added bonus. Other than that, I'd expect the usual (clean after yourself, be respectful etc which I think everyone should be anyway). Bit of a read but if you got this far and would still like to have me onboard, please shoot me a message!
Hey, I'm a designer working in Footscray. I'm 33 and I run my own business and have flexible working hours. I play basketball, love music, hikes, camping and surfing. Looking for somewhere relaxed to basically lay my head down for the night, but also with people who are friendly and interesting. Beer and wine are important facets of life. I don't smoke. I'm generally clean and respectful in any common area, and I love to cook, so don't mind the odd group meals with lots of love poured in. I'm not pedantic and I love animals. If you have pets, we'll be friends instantly. Hope that's enough, need any more info I'll be happy to meet for a catchup or beer.
I am looking for a place to live. I am super nice and would love to share a space with a super fun outgoing people xx i can cook and like a clean living space x i do like to socialise and am active x have a full time nannying job and I'm never late with bills
About me: I am a 27 year old single male who works full time, but generally leads a pretty relaxed lifestyle. Not a big partier though I am social. I work for the NBN as a Network Engineer and I used to work for Optus, as you can guess I am a tech head, so i work really well as a live in solution for all of your computer/ internet/ mobile phone related issues. Must mentions: -Im clean, tidy and pretty quiet -i tend to cook at home -i occasionally work overnight -due to my job, i sometimes do work from home -im looking for a place with high speed NBN/Cable internet
Grandma always said I was an adorable little dumpling. What she really meant was that I am sociable, open minded, keeps to myself, easy-going, and not very adorable. This little dumpling is also smoke, party, and mess free. I have poor taste in modern art and a connoisseur of fine liquor. I have 3 words of Australian slang in my vocabulary and only 1 of them can be used for insults.
Hey I'm Dana and I am 18 years old, will be studying Business at RMIT this year, moving down from the NSW Central Coast. Love meeting new people, coffee, playing sport like hockey and basketball and spending time with friends. Im also very neat in communal areas and can cook more than Vegemite on toast.
I am a 27-year-old male, who is currently passionate about achieving my current goal of becoming a paramedic. I am currently a student at Victoria University and I make my money working in a Motorcycle Accessories Store. I currently have 3/4 year remaining in my studies. Because of this, I will be looking for a place to stay long term. I would like to become a part of the family with whoever I move in. I like to make new friends, socialise with my roommates and enjoy going on adventures whether it be breakfast, pubs, hikes, beach or simply Netflix marathons I am punctual with my bills, rent and every other responsibility that is required of me as a roommate, such as cleaning duties or yard maintenance. I have no quirky habits or weird behaviours and like to pride myself of being clean. but I am no clean freak. I ride a motorcycle, so I will not take up much room in the driveway, all I require is a place where I can lock my motorcycle behind a fence. I hope I have given you a good insight into my personality and you would consider me a suitable roomie. Thank you, Rhys
hey im lachlan, live in sydney but looking for change and to try somthing new. ive grown up with 5 sisters so im clean and respectful! im a plumber, looking to save some money. i do like to drink, go out and have fun. im quiet if you want me to be or i can talk all night. always just try to be yourself and nothing else
Hi folks :) I'm Avi, a 26 year old student and bartender. I'm friendly, get along with just about anyone, plenty of sharehouse experience, and always up to meet new people. Don't mind having a coupla on the weekend, or going to discover new spots in this wonderful city, but equally happy to kick back at home as well. Reading, tv shows, riding my bike, good conversations, food, discovering new places, all get thumbs up.
I am 27 and work as an office manager for a Screw Pile (foundations) Company in Werribee. Work your typical office hours Monday to Friday. From NZ originally but been living in Straya for 2 years now, moving from the Goldie to Melbourne back in June. Have resided in Altona Meadows since, but wanting to move closer to the city (Yarraville in particular). My Dad is Spotswood born and bred, (so technically I’m half Aussie) he made the move to NZ with my mum nearly 30 years ago. I have plenty of family in the inner west. I love a good Netflix binge, and the odd drink, however the partying ways of my youth have subsided immensely, with early weekend starts of a nice coffee and getting outdoors/visiting friends/family much preferred, over hungover couch days (although this does happen from time to time). I am not the greatest cook but give it a good go anyway (make a banging egg & bacon pie), maybe you guys could teach me a thing or two. I love Basketball, played a lot when I was younger, until a torn ACL sidelined me, and hasn’t been the same since, even after reconstructive surgery, but am always keen to shoot hoops. In the last year have started to enjoy hiking Aussie bush, with visits to the You Yang’s couple times a month (although snakes terrify me and lizards give me a hell of a fright). Being a kiwi I do love rugby union, but growing up with a mad Saint Kilda supporter, Aussie Rules has been drilled into me, and love going to Etihad to watch the Saint’s. Flick us a message with any questions. Cheers, Nat
We are a 27yr old couple from NZ. We are both working full time and require a single car park. We love cooking and entertaining, both very relaxed, not big on parties but keen for a casual drink from time to time. We are tidy and responsible and happy to do our share of housework and anything else that needs doing to have a happy flat.
I'll be in Melbourne on a working holiday visa starting towards the end of February, but I'm looking to establish a settled life for the time I'll be there (I'm shooting for around 6 months at the moment). I'm from the US, and have been working in the hospitality/tourism industry in California and Colorado since I graduated from university a few years ago. I'm an avid reader and like to run, hike, and generally be active, but I also love a good Netflix binge. Brunch is my favorite past time. I'm ideally looking for a furnished room in a friendly flat, with people who like to hangout together but also respect personal time - I'm sociable but do like to have time to myself sometimes. I like to cook and bake, so as my flatmate(s), expect treats! I'm a generally tidy person, and have no qualms about pitching in to clean. I'm not a huge party person but do enjoy having friends over or going out for dinner and drinks. I plan on spending my weekends exploring and getting to know Melbourne. If you'd like more info, please message me!
Future flatmate/s! I’m Sam: a laid-back, awkwardly funny, kind and respectful young professional from Brisbane, Queensland. I have recently scored a dream job in your great city of Melbourne and will be re-locating at the end of January. For work, I am Merchandise/Marketing professional in retail and specifically pet care. It’s a little complicated to explain so I won’t bore you with the details (for now). I love living an active routine filled with things such as touch footy, gym and powerlifting during the week; to remind me that life isn’t all about work. For fun on the weekends, I enjoy catching up with mates, trying and seeing new things and going to sporting events. To chill, playing guitar is my thing – and I cannot say no to the odd Netflix session and a few whiskeys! I am seeking a medium-large sized room (preferably furnished) and access to parking so I can settle in quickly. I am looking for housemates who respect privacy and cleanliness, but who are also relaxed and aren’t shy of a laugh and a beer/wine every so often, to catch up on life’s dramas! I look forward to meeting you somewhere down the line… Cheers, Sam :)
Friendly and honest D&D playing guy from the country, looking for a place around halfway through the year, as I'm planning on going to VU. Must be okay with having trans occupants, but don't really want to move into an exclusively queer house. Furnished or unfurnished is fine, but I'd like to be able to put up a poster or two.
Clean, considerate, mature but young at heart! Studying and working two jobs, in disability services and hospitality. Looking for a place to call my own would be ideal but would consider sharing with a good match!
My names Zach Oakes. I’m a 28 year old, 177cm, blue eyed, right handed male that 9 out of 10 times puts the toilet lid down. All jokes aside though, I’m a reasonable and responsible, financially stable, mature adult, that cooks, converses, and cleans …but isn’t going to lose his shit because somebody borrowed 30mls of milk to make scrambled eggs. I have lived in share houses before, so understand the importance of respecting others and their space in the house. My current landlord (also occupier) is going overseas in 2017 and their family is taking the lease hence the need for a new chapter. I work for myself in the coffee industry, and love it. I work a lot, but when not at work I like to live an active life. Im either in the gym, doing yoga or going for a run more days that not. Hanging out with friends or the better half on the weekends. Looking to live in a home not a house with active, intelligent and interesting human beings that don't mind a chat or communal dinner every now and then, but at the same time don’t want to wear matching onesies while doing weekly grocery shopping. Trying to find something long term (all going well of course), and happy to bring my own furniture etc. Feel free to message though flatmates. Cheers Zach
Hey Everyone, I'm currently in the process of switching university, so looking for some place to stay when the semester starts. Will be going to VU, so somewhere close by (but not Footscray) would be great. I'm 19, have lived in my own unit for a year, so have a rental history. More on the quiet side then the outgoing, but do enjoy chilling with my friends and visiting my family. I don't smoke, and am a very tidy individual. Hoping to room with people around my age or if your interested starting a new share house. There's quite a few nice ones available!
My names Craig, I'm a 29 year old Personal Trainer. I work in Point Cook and usually work morning and evenings from Monday to Friday. I am originally from New Zealand and have been living in Melbourne for about 4 and a half years now. I have a 4 year old dog, he is a Husky x German Shepherd who loves people and is pretty good with other dogs to. Being a personal trainer I do like to try eat healthy and workout regularly but at the same time I am also pretty casual about eating whatever (especially in the weekend) as i love trying new food. I enjoy a social drink mainly in the weekend, I love getting outdoors and going to beach, I also enjoy just as much catching up on whatever TV series i am watching. I would consider myself very easy going and laid back. I am tidy and will always clean up after myself but I am definitely not a clean freak.
I work full time, can cook, clean and don't take other peoples food. But I like to share a meal every now and again. I'm easy going and like to have a chat, going out in the weekends for a beer but also down time.
Me (Marcelle), I'm a 24 year old fine art student at RMIT majoring in photography and will be going into 3rd year. Also work as a bartender in Footscray . Love to have a drink with some mates and nice chats, we are both pretty laid back. All about house family vibes and getting on. Love to cook too. Not very good at writing about myself let alone selling myself haha. Anika (my girlfriend), 22, German, is a musician, just graduated from uni in London and works for Milk! Records. Loves to travel and chill out and tell really lame dad jokes.
Newly fledged Nurse looking to move into Footscray & surrounds for work (6 months +), Ideally would love a relaxed home with a lot of natural light. Appreciative of friendly & respectful housemates, i'm easy to get along with, clean and sociable. Would love to find a great bunch of mates along the way rather than a co-existence. Also love my down time, which will be spent exploring the outdoors (beach, slopes, national parks), pole dancing (for fitness), brunching and plenty of snoozing etc. Non-smoking home seeker.
My name is Vicki and I'm re-relocating, (og From melbourne) I've been in ballarat for the last year for work and I am making my long awaited return to my home town!!! I Am a social worker and am all about equality and social justice and will be working full time when I relocate. I'm pretty down to earth, love my food, wine, chill time and music. I spend a lot of time with my family and friends and they are super important to me. I'm pretty busy most of the time so won't be too much in the way but I also would like people who I can have some conversation with and occasionally a sneaky midweek wine. I also have a puppy named Opie. He comes everywhere with me. He's great with people, other dogs and cats (my folks have 3-he knows they run the house). I'm probably not looking for a room until late Jan as I have some ends to tie up here first. I am flexible though and for the right house/ people I'll compromise a bit. I'm down in Melb most weekends so can always meet up.
Full time working professional in the CBD. Very clean and neat. Love animals and cooking - not together of course. Very easy going, looking for a place with like minded people. I have a cat, however, is currently living with my Mum and not an issue if he can't come with me - he really likes my Mum!
Hi! We are Leon (30) and Monika (28) and a couple of 2 years. I am Australian and Monika is Polish (fluent in English and French as well). We have previously lived in Sweden, Scotland, France and Poland respectively and now we'll be in Australia for the forseeable future. I have returned to Oz after 3 years away and Monika is experiencing Melbourne for the first time. I'm working part-time and also studying. Monika has her Masters in Sociology & Film Studies and works part-time. We love movies, gigs and the beach. Naturally travelling is very important to us too. I skew closer to more of a bookworm and Monika is all about culture (events, festivals) and nature (again, beach!). I like to think we are easygoing people with a broad range of interests. We've previously both lived alone, together, in sharehouses and student dormitories so we know the deal of different living situations and how to adjust to make it enjoyable for everyone. Kindness and respect above all are qualities important to us. As well as a balance of socialising and privacy, friendliness, cleanliness and a sense of humour! :)

In feb, I will start my career as a nurse at a well known hospital in the city. I love my own space just as much as I love socialising. More then happy to have a drink, or enjoy a meat and cheese platter! I am from a country town, but have previously rented in the outskirts of Melbourne before, by myself and with a room mate. Bills/rent have always been paid on time and have always gotten my full bond back . I will be doing shift work, so finding tenants that are okay with this is very important, as well as having tenants happy for me to have friends over every now and then. I am very easy going, laid back, minimal. I enjoy going out for dinner, drinks, adventures and definitely the beach! Ideally, I would be looking for a room with wardrobes an ensuite.

I try to go to plenty of music festivals and like keeping busy throughout the week. Have a car and extra appliances if they're needed in the house. Can keep the appliances in storage if needed however
Hi potential housemate, I'm currently looking to team-up with someone to start up a new share home in the Yarraville/Williamsown/Seddon/Newport area as my current lease runs out on the 14th Feburary. The House Ideal house would be walking distance to one of the stations along the Williamstown/Werribee train lines. Off street parking. A two or three bedroom house that may allow us to look for a third housemate when set up. I have enough stuff to partly furnish the house (washing machine, couches, TV & unit, various kitchen stuff etc). Don't have a Fridge or dining table. Me Originally from rural Vic, I am a 25 year old qualified Carpenter who is currently half way through full time Building and Construction Management degree at Vic Uni in Footscray. I am a clean up as I go type of person who does enjoy an uncluttered shared space. While I dont smoke, I don't have an issue with an outside smoker. Interests include fitness, sport, good food and the occasional social drink after a busy week. I know this is a question you might have; I dont do drugs! You Able to work in partnership to find suitable lease house (and any extra suitable housemates). Pefer no pets to increase lease options.
Laid back, very easy going. Enjoy being social in my spare time. Work long hours. Like getting out and about but also like quiet time at home. Enjoy a drink or meal with flatmates when time suits.
Hey there, I’ll start off with a few things about myself. My name is sarina, I’m turning 21 in a month, I work part-time in a call centre and part-time also playing video games for money (I know that’s a little weird haha). My hair colour changes more than I’ve had hot dinners and I also like dogs (but I don’t have one, but it’s okay – god bless the internet and its unlimited supply of them). I’m a pretty big nerd so most of the things I own are entirely gaming related. I’ve lived in my current place for almost 3 years now but I’m looking to change to somewhere closer to the city because of work; so my stay would definitely be long-term. I’m very clean (thanks to my ocd mum haha) and I’m also pretty quiet, but I get excited over everything and have more energy than I should. I’d be in my room 90% of the time because of gaming & streaming online. I don’t drive so I don’t need any car space etc. My only big thing about moving is the internet speeds, I get it might sound silly but it could hinder my other career. If you're not sure what the speeds are or how to check just head to www.speedtest.net – I’m also looking to move ASAP or when the house is available! If I sound like someone you could probably put up with for a while, let me know! FYI: I live in Melbourne lul
My names Mel :) In terms of living arrangements I am looking for short term accom approx 2 months. Wanting a private room. I'm not to fussed location wise just somewhere near the city. I have been living in South Yarra for the past year and loved it but open to new areas. I have some exciting travel plans middle of April so am looking for somewhere to move in the next few weeks until then. Can be flexible with dates and price to. I am a reliable person to live with, I have a stable job therefore rent and bills are no worries and I like to live in a clean space. Now the fun stuff personally I work as a nurse which means some nights I won't be home. However I would want a housemate (or housemates) I could have a meal or a glass of wine with some nights. I'm initially from the country but moved to Melbourne a bit over 2 years ago for work and have loved it! I enjoy cooking and eating out - love love trying new cafes and am a bit of a caffeine addict so always trying new cafes. Feel like I should add some fun facts here to! I'm a western bulldogs fan.. love to drop that premiership win into convo whenever I can and my favourite animal is a manta ray!
aside from being a professional baker and pastry cook. i love food. i like to explore and go on adventures. i'm pretty chilled and friendly guy who likes to chat have a beer or two and also understand if you need space and privacy, i have been well trained by my parents to be independent look after myself. 😂 plus you get to enjoy my funny jokes every now and then.

Hi there, I am currently looking for a room in a houseshare in the inner north / north-west area. I live in Kensington at the moment but the lease is ending as the landlord wishes to renovate. I work full-time in the city (at RMIT) and I'm 32. As a housemate, I like to keep spaces clean and generally tidy. I am friendly and laid-back and I do like "down time" particularly during the week. Some of my interests: reading, movies, podcasts, Internet culture, TV and philosophy. Non smoker and non drinker but I do enjoy to have fun, and am always up for a chat. Kind regards, Jack
I'm from NZ, making a new start in Melbourne after 15 years of working with governments doing international aid work. I'm quiet & tidy, easy-going & friendly, love gardening & animals. Prefer near-vegetarian diet and getting around by public transport. For fun I walk & cycle, do volunteer work, play the piano and will spend time with my daughter and her forthcoming baby. Currently looking for more part-time work.
Hi! i'm looking for place to with 1-2 awesome roomies in either yarraville or seddon, (no more than 8mins walk to a station), preferably a house, (not a tiny bedroom) with a little garden to call home. I'm easy going, mature, quiet (most of the time), open minded, and independent. Currently working part time, and running my own small business. I'm pretty much a junk food vegan who wont try to convert you or sit there and judge your food choices. Love to travel and will try my best to take overseas adventures any chance I get (and my work & bank account will allow). Love memes! Happy to be a part of the house family but also enjoy my solitude and quietness, looking for others who do and feel the same. Love cleanliness in shared spaces! Don't mind a place with animal roomates. Looking to move in early Feb. Please contact me to see if we'd make a nice fit. Cheers Lillian
Hi everyone. I AM NOT LOOKING FOR A HOUSE. This is a warning for young women who are looking for a place in Seddon/Kingsville/Yarraville/West Footscray. I just moved out of a room in 20 Williamstown Road, Kingsville. It is a green house second from the corner of Williamstown Road and Geelong Street. PLEASE DO NOT MOVE INTO THIS HOUSE. The main tenant is a messy, cheap alcoholic called PARMVEER SINGH. He is sleeping with the Brazilian girl who sleeps in one of the rooms. I stayed there for a month and a half (with a 3 week holiday break) and it was terrible. 1. There is an ant problem in the kitchen 2. The walls are extremely thin 3. Parm and Aliniyah keep the living room messy, leftover snacks and chips packets left open for days. They only clean it occasionally - I'm sure they'll spruce it up for an inspection, but after you move in, hey... 4. Parmveer treats the mantelpiece like a second bedside table 5. Parmveer brings his Indian guy friends over at 3am in the morning, probably about twice a week. They will drink, shout, play loud music and wake you up. This is a junkie alcoholic punk 6. On 20th Dec, he gave me notice via text. I asked him for a month to find a place. I ended up moving by 9th Jan. Did he give me my 500 dollars in bond back? No. His excuse? "You said you would stay until 20th Jan, so I'm minusing 300 dollars to pay for rent until then." Do you know why he did that? Because 1. He doesn't have the money 2. He needs to pay for his drink-driving fine from last year (see letter on fridge) 7. The Brazilian girl, Aliniyah, does not contribute to household items. She doesn't buy cleaner/toilet roll, has no cutlery or crockery of her own. She's a LEECH. Luckily she has found a loser like Parm, which means... 8. They cuddle on the couch every night and go out for Sunday breakfasts. Two effects: you'll feel like the third wheel, it's awkward as hell, AND they will gang up on you when it comes to household issues. IF YOU MOVE INTO THIS HOUSE, YOU WILL BE COMPLETELY ALONE. It may be 200 a week, bills included, but it's a ripoff and a massive mistake. Please spread this message to all your friends who are looking for rooms in West Footscray/Kingsville/Seddon/Yarraville. And contact me if you want more information

Independent/Self-sustaining, patient, friendly, nerdy, respects your privacy. Has own furnishings for the room.
I'm an easy going person with a sense of humour. I'm reliable in terms of rent and bills being paid on time. I get along easily with people, I like to share the odd meal or drink but also love 'me time' and am respectful of peoples space. I like to keep things pretty clean and tidy but i'm not rigid about it. I'd like to contribute to a comfortable calm shared home.
I am Sara from Italy, 35 yo. Psychologist, Nutritional therapist and PhD Candidate at Deakin University from Feb 2017. Respectful, quiet and tidy person, sociable, reliable, nice to live with! Looking for: spacious single room in a comfortable modern house or flat, and great flatmates (possibly professionals around their 30s) in Seddon or Yarraville or nearby, close to the train stations, on the V-line (I will commute every day to Geelong), or in North Melbourne. Looking forward to meeting you!
Two hilarious guys from Sweden who just fled the cold for warmer climes. Outgoing, social and really funny. We love sports, dancing and making new friends! Good chefs, clean and tidy and movie-watchers. In general a dreamteam!
