Hi there, I'm a 30 year old professional working weekdays 9-6 in the city. I lived overseas/interstate for the last decade and have just moved to Melbourne. Most evenings and weekends I am usually out rock climbing or hiking. I love travel, outdoor adventures, live gigs and movies! I'm always on the go and my work also requires some interstate travel so you may not see much of me at home. But when I do get some downtime I'm always happy to have a meal or drink with my housemates, or just hang out at home with a good movie marathon. Housekeeping wise - not overly OCD, I usually just clean up as I go. Non-smoker and not into wild parties. Preferably housemates who are similar in these respects and appreciate a quiet and peaceful home to return to. Love animals too and certainly won't mind if you have a cat or dog .... as long as they love cuddles and don't chew on my shoes!
Okay about me: I’m currently studying a Bachelor of Business (Marketing) full time at Victoria University and working part time as a medical receptionist. I love reading, going to the theatre and listening to 70’s music in my me-time but am down for a social drink or two as well! More than anything I love a spontaneous adventure and trying something new -whether it be bikram yoga or a road trip to a foreign place. I’m also more than willing to have a chat/ debrief after work and cook a meal for everyone. I’m considerate of other people’s things and their space in general. I’m super tidy and won’t leave a mess or an array of dishes for you to wake up to. I’m really just happy to find my spot in the house and fit in with the way that everything currently works. I'm really struggling to get the balance of e-harmony meets job interview here but I hope you find me an attractive candidate? Looking forward to hearing from you :) ,Caitlyn
Hi! Im karlton, super chilled and easy to get along with. Moved over from Western Australia at the start of the year for work and a bit of a lifestyle change. Love meeting and getting to know new people, though respectful of everyones space. Any questions just hit me up more then happy to chat!
I'm looking to move to inner west Melbourne/Kensington/Footscray in late November but if I find the right household, happy to be flexible. I've just started a new physio job at Western Hospital. I love cooking and talking over a few wines/beers so if you are a social household we would be well suited. I'm also very clean, like a bit of alone time and a full nights sleep, would best get along with people who like to have fun and also respect other's needs.
My name is Patty, I'm 23, I am a full-time student studying business and keep really busy with uni. I am a pretty independent person, down to chill and have a chat over weekends but during the week I keep to myself and focus on my uni and work. I love to do some cooking or baking on weekends with some wine or a cider to chill. Not into big house parties unless its a rare and special occasion. I like to live in a clean house as I feel it creates a happy place to come home to and its soothing to the mind so I like to keep things neat and tidy! I'm half Australian and half Balinese so I've grown up all around the Asia and I am currently in my second year living and studying in Australia and I absolutely love it. Don't have any pets, kids and am non-smoker. You can trust me to keep to myself for most of the time, always happy to have a chat and appreciate and respect personal space. Happy to live with like-minded people. Cheers :)
Backpacker from Canada, on my second visa. Working in south wharf most days, when I have the day off I enjoy cool lil venues with craft beers and snacks. I consider myself to be quite respectful & honest with whoever I live with. I look forward to hearing from some f you!
Currently studying Professional Writing & Editing @ Victoria Polytechnic. In the middle of applying for the role Protective Services Officer through Victoria Police. Bright, cheerful, patient.
I'm a single 40 year old female who works full time. I'm looking to share with preferably a female so we can hang out together sometimes. I have a 3 year old cavalier dog. She is well behaved, good natured and house trained. I'm outgoing and friendly, not into parties but like to chill with a glass of wine after a busy week. I'm very clean and am happy to contribute to keep the house tidy. I've shared with people before so am used to getting along with others. Looking for a place as close to the city as possible but most importantly near a train/tram line. Happy to drive up to half an hour to either. Pretty flexible when it comes to location. Happy to take on a long-term lease.
Things that excite my soul: nature, unique and fascinating humans, sharing stories over a drink, cooking, cleaning, bubble baths, dancing, reading, red wine, researching, adventures, the beach, Italian food.❤️I'm a pretty calm, relaxed & easy to get along with 22 year old :-)

I work a lot so I'm pretty wrecked every day! I smoke ciggarets not inside tho! I enjoy having a few bevs which I haven't done for a while I'm a bit of a geek (marvel, Star Wars ect) I draw, and love to get creative And if you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask

I am looking to live alone, got to an age where that's the space I need. Working full time and extremely busy with work so need a place that I can come home to and relax, plus deck out with Kmart attire!
Hi! My name is Makensie. I'm 30 and after travelling abroad for the majority of my 20's, I have decided to call Melbourne home. I have recently finished studying (was a bit of a shock heading to uni as a mature age student) and am now a practicing Myotherapist on the Southside. Currently working on achieving a healthy work/life balance, I'm just getting into the swing of things post university. When I'm not at work, I'm catching up with friends, exercising, cooking (don't be fooled, I'm no chef) or checking out professional and personal development work shops. I'm a bit of a hippie at heart, I enjoy meditation and am partial to burning incense. I don't take myself too seriously though and appreciate good banter! My goal this year is to push myself out of my comfort zone ticking the things off my bucket list that I continue to put on hold for 'later'. I'm looking for a household that feels like a home. I'm independent and enjoy spending time with housemates but do like my own space also and am looking for housemates who appreciate this too. Ultimately, a clean, relaxed, fun, cheerful household where housemates are mindful of each other and work as a team when it comes to getting house jobs done. Close to public transport, cafes etc, is also important. Prefer to organise my own food, though happy to share condiments/have a kitty to fund household needs eg: loo paper.
Hey everyone! My name is Maddie, I'm 20 years old and I just moved here from New Zealand. I'm super friendly and chilled out. I'm currently looking for retail and barista jobs but I have savings so I can pay rent and bond etc! I'm vegan but I promise I won't try to turn you, and I'll make you bomb stir fry and curries etc! I enjoy the occasional night out with friends but I'm mostly a night in with Netflix type of girl. Contact me if you'd like to know more about me.
Hi, I’m a Greek student in international business and trading and looking for a private room. I’m working part time almost every afternoon. Quiet, clean, tidy and respectful person. Email me or sms/call me. Thanks in advance.
Hi! I work full time as a surgical assistant. I've lived in great share houses previously. I'm friendly, clean, respectful to others. Finding a new housie to share a wine or laugh with would be a bonus! I work hard and in my spare time I enjoy coffee with friends, finding a new cafe try and anything outdoors. Ideally looking to find someone to start a sharehouse or an unfurnished room! Looking forward to meeting you :) Looking to move Dec 16- Jan 17
I'm 32 years old, work full time in hotel management but luckily don't have to work the crazy hospitality hours. I like to cook, read, drink coffee, dance and get out hiking or running as well as anything that means I get to be in the sunshine. I'm equally happy on my own as in the company of others so I enjoy a house dynamic that's both social (not after party to 5am social though) but also relaxed and do your own thing. I'm not a neat freak but I respect shared spaces and always clean up after myself. I have a small dog named Pip. She's 4 years old, completely house trained, sleeps all day, loves cats, long walks, tennis balls and ear scratches. She only needs a small yard with a bit of sunshine but she does spend time inside when I'm home. Ideally I'm looking for a place with 1-2 housemates, for a minimum of 6 months. My move dates are flexible but preferably it would be great to find something by the end of November
Hey my name is Jamie, currently studying tourism full time and working as a barista weekends. I am neat, friendly, quiet and vegetarian. In my spare time I like to read, go to the gym, watch sci fi and anime and go out for brunch :) I am looking for like-minded housemates who like to spend time with each other like a little family. Being clean is a must 🙂
I currently work in HR in the South east. I also volunteer in the city as a crisis counsellor so I keep pretty busy! I studied Psychology for a while, and I'm still thinking of continuing that in order to forge a new career path. I am currently looking for a longer-term home - I would love to be a part of a social household to satisfy my enegertic introverted personality, but not a "party house" (I'm a little old for that!) But I'd love to be able to have a drink and hang out with housemates sometimes.
Hi I'm Rob, originally from NZ, been living in Melbourne almost 5 years now. I'm 28 and currently working in the events industry. Just finished up with the Melbourne Marathon and now moving on to the World Cup of Golf as the new Site manager. I like to keep healthy and try to get out mountain biking a few times a week. Grew up with 3 sisters so very much house trained, friendly and considerate of others. Have a fairly busy life from work, but always try to have a catch up when i have the time. Happy to live with quiet or sociable people, have lived with both before and get along great with either. Love animal's but don't have any myself. Non smokers preferred
Interested in moving back to the city within the next 3-6 months. At the moment just sussing this out..But feel free to message me if you have any questions! Currently Im working within the Wool Industry although I'm ideally aiming to secure a more fashion and professional based role in the coming months. I've honestly only rented a couple of places in Brunswick and Fawkner; but have had good experiences with both houses/roomies. I'm easygoing and a mix between loud and quiet; I enjoy a laugh and drink but also hanging out in my room. I enjoy chatting about various things but art/fashion/design/food/travel/music/health/wellbeing make me the happiest! Looking for a cute and cosy place I can make my new home (and yours!) and deck out with all my nik naks.
I am a happy bubbly outgoing person who is always up for a chat and a beer or wine. I enjoy cooking so I'm happy to cook household meals if needed. I always work in hospitality so most of the time I will either be at work or sleeping or exploring all melbourne has to offer. I am neat and tidy and incredibly easy to get along with :)
Hi! We're two friends looking for a place in the inner west (two seperate rooms). I'm Oliver, a 24y/o PhD student at the University of Melbourne. I'm a pretty laid back, friendly guy and always up for a chat and a beer. Jenny is also 24 and at the University of Melbourne studying medicine. She's a wine and cheese enthusiast, still believes her hogwarts letter is on the way and can knit a mean beanie. We are a friendly bunch, ideally we would be looking to team up with someone who is social but able to be independent day to day.
Easygoing professional, just moved to the area for a job as a video editor working on a wildlife doco tv series. My partner Chris will be joining me in November. We're keen to live in a chilled but fun house and grow a vege garden! :)
Hello, I'm Kat, I'm 20 years old and super outgoing. I'm a bartender and can make awesome cocktails, I work days and nights. I'm very ambitious and easy to get along with, very organised and clean/tidy. Wanting to move closer to the city and closer to work. I absolutly love animals and would love a place / room mate(s) who has some or allows them! Feel free to message me! :)
Hi, we are a couple of young people and, because of work, we just recently started looking to move from Brisbane to Melbourne end of January. French woman working in Optometry and English man full time worker in Marketing for Telstra. Looking for a place: somewhere close to CBD, public transport and all facilities are must. Very friendly, we are used to live in houseshares or flatshares and like socialising. Comfortable living with other people. Clean and involved in the everyday tasks at home. We are after a new home with a nice, chill and quite atmosphere.
Hi My name is Rebecca and I am looking for a home to move to ASAP. Ideally I would like a large room with BIR/wardrobes that can fit more than my queen bed :D. I was living with my best friend who moved overseas and have my own furniture so an unfurnished room would be ideal. I don't smoke and only drink occasionally at social events. I’m quiet but up for a chat or occassional movie. I'm clean and have lived in share houses both in Oz and overseas so am aware of the living standards in sharing/respecting spaces. I enjoy cooking and exploring events around Melbourne (Theatre buff :D). I'm looking for somewhere to call home and housemates to hopefully call friends :D Thanks heaps Rebecca (Reb)
Hi :) I am a friendly, positive, respectful individual looking to reside in the same environment and start a new chapter. Currently I am a Office Coordinator, but am looking to change careers and go back to study. I'm female, in my late 20s, love baking, animals, being creative and talking about whatever topics you like! I'm fun and serious in equal measure :) I clean up after myself and respect privacy.

We are easy going, clean, reliable, and mature backpackers. Looking for a furnished place with two to four available rooms. We are open to sharing rooms, two in each. I am very friendly and love the outdoors, as well as sports and don't mind trying new things! My background is Argentinian and Uruguayan (Spanish) so I love soccer, wine and festivals/summer events. Hi, I am looking for a nice relaxed place to live, I would like my own ensuite lounge room /or study but that is not a deal breaker ceiling fans and or aircon would be nice. I am a writer/director working on the third draft of an Aussie Comedy hoping to shoot on the film late 2017 if I can raise the budget. I am a clean tidy considerate person who has a great sense of humour, I like a laugh a meal and a glass of wine, but I also value my space and give you yours. At the moment I will be writing from home hence the study or my own lounge, or even granny flat or studio, looking for an office next year. I am studying film editing on final cut pro. I do have a nine year old WELL TRAINED AND LOVED DOG AND A LITTLE BLACK CAT so it important that they have a little space and are safe. I am flexible with moving dates my lease is up on the 9th of October so any time after that is good for me, I am really looking for the right home. Cheers Peita:)
I am a considerate tidy housemate, I can adapt to different groups of people and respect other peoples space. I will be 19 when coming to Australia from England. I will not be moving untill September 2017. Any messages will be appreciated.
International student of Melbourne University, really focused and hardworking and knows how to have fun at the same time. Looking for a decent place and a female flatmate who can match my level of chill and chick.
I'm looking for someone who would like to move out with my dog Ruby and I between now and the end of the year. So far I keep to myself in my room due to a lack of a space and people to socialise with. This would probably different in the right place and with the right people. I like to cook. And willing to share a meal or two. While I hate washing up its usually done within two days. I just like a clean sink first. Easy to live with don't care about much. Just don't pee in the backyard. Ruby is a fur monster so if you mind pet hair you won't be happy. She's loveable and friendly. Just keep her away from rubbish, waterbottles, toothbrushes & human food. It's like living with one big furry toddler. Backyard big enough for Ruby. No more than 2 other people.
I'm Javier from spain-Barcelona looking for some private room from the first of november , for a mid-long term. I'm studying english and working during the week and weekend too. I'm clean, tidy, easy going and respectful with the private space of my flatmates. Is the room still available?

We're looking at houses in the North Melb, Footscray, Kensington, and Brunswick areas (and surrounding). We're pretty chill people who actually want to start dabbling in some pub trivia, and love a beer/cider or a few. Dave is studying to become a paramedic with fantastic puns its almost punishable..... and Jac is a sea kayaking instructor so thats a paddlin, so we are super outdoorsy and keen for hikes, camping and other adventures! also we are looking to get into some fitness so some more friendly competition would be swell Dave also has an extremely loveable dog named Ollie who is an outside dog and an all round massive spud. if ya keen shoot us a message on hear or via interpretive dance what ever is easier

Hi Guys! My name is Emily, I am 23 and I work in recruitment. I am a bit of foodie, love to get in the kitchen or try out new places. Occasionally I might go home to see my family and friends in Ocean Grove on the weekends, otherwise I just chill out and catch up with friends for Brunch. I am always smiling and happy, love meeting new people and having a laugh.
As a housemate I get along with those who are social and like to have the occasional drink/meal together but it's also good to have your own space. I'm clean and quiet at appropriate time, I'm not a smoker but it doesn't bother me to live with those who do. Currently working at Victoria Uni in HR, I also work casually in events/hospitality. I'm also finishing up my degree in Business. I'm pretty social and don't spend a lot of time indoors. I like to go out to new restaurants, bars gigs etc, I really enjoy cooking and anything food related. I'm also big on fitness (mostly weightlifting and yoga).

I love being out and about going anywhere new (road trips down the coast or to the Yarra Valley) finding new bars and trying new food!
Young couple from US & UK moving to Australia for a year before teaching English across Asia. Tidy, respectable & friendly - will be working most days. We would enjoy sharing meals, drinks and watching movies with housemates. Overall we are pretty quiet, low maintenance, and clean up after ourselves. Looking for a laid back environment with nice people to hangout with. We are both 19 and not currently enrolled at University so neither of us have an official occupation, but will begin working on arrival. If we sound like a good fit don't hesitate to let us know, we are also open to talking or video chatting before hand! Thanks!
