I am a 19/yo male recently moved to Melbourne from Mallacoota (East Gippsland) looking for a place to stay anywhere within the inner suburbs. I can be somewhat awkward talking to people initially but I'll be sure to warm up to you fairly quickly. Nerd by nature (and sleeping habits) but I try to keep myself busy otherwise. I can keep out of your way if that's how you roll, I'm happy to help around with whatever might be needed too. I'm not a terrible cook either, so I'm happy to help in the kitchen. As of right now, I only have a part-time online job but am looking for something more stable. Thank you for reading!
Hello! I'm an American making the move to Australia to work full-time out of my company's Melbourne offices. I work in tech consulting for a company called Bluewolf. Originally from Boston, MA currently residing in Denver, CO. I enjoy exploring new cafes/bars/restaurants, hiking, traveling, puppies, and a good Netflix binge.
Easy-going, friendly, tidy individual looking for affordable flat share arrangement in and around the Seddon area with people of a similar age. I'm a young lad from the UK (Manchester) playing cricket for 3 months in Melbourne from mid-October onwards. Coming over on a working holiday visa so will be playing cricket at weekends with the odd bit of casual work during the week. Like sports/fitness, Netflix and want to see what Melbourne has to offer.
I'm nice, quiet, clean, respectful, considerate. I go to bed early. I always pay my bills on time. I go to the gym a few days a week. I'm usually out half the weekend. I'm working full-time as a software developer in Williamstown North. Vegetarian but I'm happy to live with people who aren't. I'm friendly but need a fair bit of time alone. I'm looking for a place: - Within 15 minutes drive of Williamstown North. - Within 20 minutes walk of a train station. - That is fairly quiet, i.e. not much noise from traffic, trains, or inside the house. - Room large enough to have a queen bed, desk and still have room to move. - Decent heating and cooling. - Sharing with 1 or 2 others, preferably in a similar age range. - Own bathroom would be brilliant, but not a deal breaker.

Hi! We are JACOB and DAISY and from South Korean. We're working holiday visa holders and have been here for 5 months so far. And now we're planning to move to Melbourne on October 16 to start our new journey in Melbourne! We are a very clean and tidy couple. We always clean the kitchen right after use as we keep everything clean. We are friendly and down to early. We also respect personal boundaries and space when it comes to shared house. We've never made any rent overdue ever so that wouldn't be a problem at all. I'm not comfortable to speak on the phone in English so please text me or message me here instead of phone call.
Professional couple moving from Adelaide to Melbourne in October 2017. Hayley- Podiatrist and Jano - Project Manager. We are looking for a place inner west (or south-north) of CBD. Tidy, respectful and trustworthy. Our length of stay is 3+ months. Furnished options preferred. Weekly rent inclusive of bills.
I am a sport loving, fun, approachable person. I am clean and do enjoy cooking, preparing and entertaining. If you want a no fuss, easy to get along with housemate, I'm your guy! :)
My names James... Or Jimmy! I'm 31 yrs old, work full time in the transport industry- Most days i spend 10-12hrs driving a truck... Most mornings I'm leaving home in the dark, then return whilst the sun goes down 🌥 My family/friends would describe me as pretty easy going, down to earth guy with a great sense of humour. In my spare time i like to get out & catch up with friends, otherwise I'll happily lay low at home. Enjoy having the occasional drink, although I'm hardly ever drunk 🍺 I have a 4yr old Maltese Shih-Tzu that shadows me wherever I go, so currently on the search for someone who's easy to live with, also pet friendly 😎 She loves playing with other dogs (or neighbouring cats), also well trained inside & out. I'd prefer to houseshare with a female, as they've always seemed more clean & tidy, which helps me maintain a good lifestyle.
Hey everyone, my name's Amber. Turned 30 this year and looking for a massive lifestyle and inspirational change - want to get away from Sydney as soon as possible and relocate to Melbourne. A bit of background on me - I've been a multi disciplinary Artist since I was a child, with a main focus on Acting, Singing and Musicianship. Completed my tertiary education in Acting and I'm currently doing distance study in Electronic Sound Production and Indigenous Studies, to help expand my mind and teach me new skills. I love to read and learn, have solid conversations and a good laugh, share knowledge - books and artworks make up 70% of my earthly goods! A few of my interests include Reading, Playing Guitar, Socializing with friends on the weekend, Writing, Dancing, Acting, Cooking, Travel, Theatre, Music Production and Songwriting, Singing, Yoga and Martial Arts, Gaming (Xbox 360 - I have one to bring to the house and a load of games, if that's your thing too), binge watching Netflix or getting into some hardcore SBS on demand / ABC iview when I have free time, Photography and Art of all forms. Social justice, human/civil rights and equality are vital concepts to me. By no means a definitive list, but it gives you a bit of an idea. I'm friendly, respectful, fun, keep things in the house clean and am a weird balance of someone who likes to say hi and be social round the house when it suits people, but can also respect your space/privacy and like to enjoy my own when I'm feeling hermity too - hopefully you won't be the type to take it personally if i need some time out to myself. Not a precious princess about things and am really adverse to passive aggressive types - if you're not the sort of person that can just have a calm, upfront chat and nip it in the bud if I accidentally do anything to annoy you, then we probably won't enjoy living together. I'm a smoker, although more than happy to go outside if you're not, as this is most people's preference, I'm not obnoxious about it and respect people's needs. Constantly burning fragrant oils / candles and incense anyway and am very conscious of mutual space, nothing like coming home to a house that feels welcoming and smells divine. Not a huge party animal, though I do enjoy occasionally having people round sometimes - during the week I'm pretty chill (although, also not boring hey - totally not adverse to cracking some wine or beers while cooking / having a friend round when the mood strikes - I'm a pretty mean cook, double plus bonus!). Weekends are always easier for getting out and about or catching up with people. If this sounds like someone you wouldn't mind sharing space with, let me know. Thanks in advance mates, look forward to meeting some like minds - keen for a long-term place I can make a home, with cool, fuss-free housemate/s who like the sound of my listing. Looking to make the move ASAP soon as I find something. Let me know if you have any questions. Peace and Thanks, Amber
I like to think I'd be pretty easy to live with, I like to keep to my self most of the time but I can be very social and friendly, I do not smoke cigarettes and don't have any issues with those who do, I'm a social drinker/dont drink too often, most of the time after work I settle for a coffee and that usually keeps me happy for the rest of the night haha. I work in Landscape Construction full time, have been for a few years now so Tradie by day, and I like to jump on my PC or Xbox and play a few games, Play the guitar or just watch movies and series for the rest of the night haha. I'm pretty clean, I make an active effort to do my best and keep things tidy, Clutter makes me grumpy so I usually don't let it get out of hand. I'm looking for a house that can accommodate myself and have space for my partner to visit. My partner would only be over on weekends as she is studying and not able to move with me but would still be happy to chip in for any food or utilities she may use. Been living at home until now, this will be the first time moving out of home, and I want to keep living costs at a minimum to maximise saving for holidays and a future home :)
Hey houziiiii......My name is Mukzi, born Indian, bred Aussie.....Friendly person with open mind, clean and tidy. I work in North Melbourne, never late with paying bills. I am usually busy with my work on weekdays. Weekend I would prefer a drink at home or would step out to see family and friends. *****Interested in teaming up...
I've recently moved back to Melbourne from Europe, and looking to meet new people in this great city! I'm an ICT professional working full time in the CBD. I'm social, relaxed, a travel-holic and love cooking, dancing, watching films/TV, listening to all kinds of music and getting outdoors as much as possible! Ideally would like a mixed house of 3-4 people. Not after a party house, but want to share a great place with people who won't hide in their rooms. Move in date flexible from start of September. Looking for an unfurnished room and good public transport links. I'm asthmatic, so have to say I can't live with cats or smokers. Feel free to contact me if you have a room I might like, and a house you think I would fit into well. I look forward to hearing from you!
I work full time as a school psychologist. I'm clean and friendly. I like to keep to myself but am also open to socialising on weekends. I enjoy going to gigs and try to get to the gym several times a week.
Hello! I have just moved to Melbourne having been on the West Coast of Australia for the past nine months or so. I am looking to stay here and enjoy city life for at least four months so would be requiring accommodation for a mid-long term stay. I'm a considerate, bubbly and respectful 24-year old English female who is both clean and tidy. I have previously shared houses in Newcastle and London so know and respect the type of etiquette that should be held by all sharers. Although I'm a back packer and currently living out of bag, I'm craving a bit of normality and a non-bunk bed type of bed! Especially as I am looking to work full time. I love to cook and I am experimenting with baking so would be more than happy to make you some bits and pieces during my stay. I really need to doing some more excercise, motivators welcome. I like to explore local coffee shops. And I love the odd G&T. I would be looking to move in on/around the 24th September. I look forward to hearing from you.
Hi! My name is Sofia, 21 years old from Sweden. I just moved to Melbourne from Perth, to a room in a sharehouse that was not at all like the pictures and descriptions I had gotten before arriving. Old food on the tables, mice in the kitchen and a broken from door are just some of the things that got be back to looking for a new room. I used to work as an au pair, so taking care of the house by cleaning, cooking and doing laundry was something I did just about everyday. I´m a calm and organized person who also enjoys a good party. For fun I like to hang out with friends, go on trips and watch netflix! Something I love very much is animals, and I also really enjoy baking. I'm available to come look at rooms and move in ASAP. Hope to hear from you soon!
I'm respectful, tidy, friedly gentleman and am looking for a room in a shared house. I am also interested in team ups. Some of interests include playing the bass (with headphones so no need to worry about noise), TV I suppose, reading the occasional book and once in a while going out for drinks, dinner or a movie with friends.
I work Monday to Saturday 6.30am to 4.30pm, like to chill with Netflix or FIFA in the evenings, I cook, pretty healthy during the week, weekend comes and you probably won't see me unless I'm just at home vegging out on the couch. Interests include, sports, techno, cooking, adventure holidays, music festivals, tv series junkie.. I really like to keep a clean house, nothing OTT but clean kitchen and bathrooms are a must. Also I've been in Australia since 2011, (Irish) have a car(so parking is important, I also have a trailer(if there was room for that would be great but not super important) Anything else you wanna know just ask..
