Hi! I am an acting student currently studying at Actors Centre Australia in Leichhardt. I also work part time at Dan Murphy's. I am looking for a share house to live in while I finish the next 2 years of acting school. I am a super social person, always up for meeting new people. I love the beach and a good cocktail. I am LBGTQI+ friendly.
I’m very easy going, relaxed and open minded, easy to talk to and always willing to listen. I can be a bit messy with my room but clean and tidy with the rest of the house. Also I’m kind of a geek, like video games, movies and reading. I work as a games master at a escape room and study hospitality, both in the city.
Hi, I'm an easy-going young professional just moved over to Sydney and am about to start a new Mon-Fri job in the city at an investment bank. I'm looking for a place to call home for the next ~6 months while I settle in to Sydney. A bit about me - I'm a Kiwi (New Zealander) from Auckland, NZ. I like to socialise and would consider myself fairly adventurous and a foodie. On the weekends I like to hang out at the beach, go for a walk or chill over food or a few drinks. I'm very tidy, clean and take great care with the place I'm living. I'm also a half decent cook and like to share a meal once in a while. Looking forward to meeting my new housemates!
I am looking for somewhere Fin and I can call home. We like cooking, going for long walks, getting out of Sydney on the weekend and country music. Wine and cheese are a part of every day. I am an extroverted introvert - I enjoy coming home and decompressing with my room mates over a meal or a drink, the ocassional BBQ or dinner, but for the most part I am content walking the dog and reading of an evening. I work full time at an architecture firm in Surry Hills (with flex hours to give Fin the running he needs). I clean up after myself (and Fin) and happy to pitch in with household projects aka the garden. Please only contact me if you can see yourself living with a 7 month old working dog, he is a real smooch and a constant joy to have around... but being a puppy, does chew up the ocassional book/ bark from time to time.
I'm a free spirit. I was born in America, but I am of Argentine/Cuban heritage. I work with individuals who suffer from mental illnesses, so I'd say I'm naturally a very patient and understanding person. I'm looking for temporary accommodations. I am a very clean, organized person. And well, I hope to make new friends through my journey, so I'd love to meet like minded individuals that appreciate the little things in life.
This is a fully furnished room in a large sharehouse in the cute suburb of Petersham close to the city. You will have your own bathroom and access to a large kitchen and lounge room and the room is basically separate to the rest of the house as it's separated by a laundry/kitchenette and reading nook area that we occasionally use as an arty/storage area. We're a 10 minute walk away from Petersham station and a 2 minute walk from the shops and buses. Couples are welcome, it'll just be $380 all together. Internet is included and we have a washing machine but no drier. We've put a lot of effort into making this a cute and cosy flat and would love to share it with some like minded and fun people :) **available 27th march**
Hi, I'm Mark, and I'm an international student from the Netherlands and 24 years of age. I'm coming to Sydney for my internship at the University of Sydney where I will work during the day. In the evenings and in the weekend I like to socialize, do a beer with friends or some other leisure activity, like watching a movie/serie or do some kind of sports (in particular swimming).
Im a respectful, mature and personable person. I’m not interested in party houses. I’m a teacher and naturally bring work home to do. I don’t like being cooped up in the room all day/night and would ideally like a shared workspace/office in the living area or another room. Background noise is completely fine with me. Living with other professionals who understand a reasonable lifestyle at home through the work week is something that would ideally be mutually important. Don’t mind a good chat over dinner and wine or do things together if we have shared interests whenever there are free moments. Love to get out on the weekends and catch up with friends and family. Enjoy swimming, dancing, rock climbing, literature - I read a lot (being a teacher), theatre, films, hiking, travelling, food and live music. I always pay my bills on time! I work well with any scheduled house chores, shelving order or communal kitty. I’m great at keeping my own space and shared areas tidy and clean and would love for housemates to do their share too. I wipe down surfaces after use, clean and put away kitchenware after use, help keep floors clean and just generally an adult who picks up after herself, but communal minded so if I see that the trash is full, I’ll take it out... - all the common sense and curtesy stuff you’d love for a housemate to have and wish for the same of others. I wouldn’t mind having friends over for a chat over wine or dinner occasionally and on nights that are reasonable for everyone else. None of them are party people and are all very respectful. I’m also great with communication and good at asking if things are okay with others, cool if it’s not, just let me know👍🏼. Would love a place that feels safe, drama free and filled with other respectful, mature and kind people :)
My name is Marvin, 32 years old. I am bubbly, likes watching movies, having a drink sometimes, going to the beach and generally just relaxing. I’m looking for a place that I can call home as well. I am currently working in North Sydney as a Paralegal in a law firm and will become a solicitor in months’ time (fingers crossed). I am clean, pays rent on time, mindful of someone else’s privacy but wouldn’t mind sharing a meal or drink.
Hello! I am a 25 year old Canadian Medical Student - starting my 1st year at the University of Sydney. I am looking for a place to call home! I am a mature professional that definitely knows how to take care of my space. I am super friendly and love to chat, but know when to respect your privacy. I am looking to share the flat with other female professionals that are respectful and clean.
Air conditioned, sunny room in beautiful Victorian Terrace. We have a fully renovated house in the best street in Petersham. We are in a great spot - near bus stops, the train and light rail stations and close to countless cafes, restaurants and pubs. We have small supermarkets close by and Leichhardt Marketplace is a 5 minute drive. We have two 24 hour gyms in 5-7 minutes walking distance. This is a light cosy room with a brand new Queen Sealy Ensemble, a large inbuilt cupboard and a small desk. We have two bathrooms and two kitchens so it is rare to not to get access whenever you need it. The kitchen is the most social room where we come together for a chat.
Bedroom is huge. Could fit a king sized bed and have room to dance. Unfurnished. Large built ins (pictured) and direct balcony access. Easy walk to the train (7 mins), bus stop basically outside the door, easy commute to City/Marrickville/Leichardt/Inner West. Recently renovated, everything is nice, clean and working. Price includes off-street parking space. I've got NBN wifi. Internet and utilities are split evenly (about $20 per week) Rest of the house is fully furnished, but would love someone to bring their own decor/shelves/plants. Just moved in, so very flexible on furnishings. Looking for someone who would be willing to sign the lease (6 months). LGBT friendly, environmentally conscious. Open to students as long as they're already house-trained!
Hi, I am a 28 year old woman working as a full time dental professional. I am seeking an apartment that is NEW or NEAR NEW in the areas I have listed. I do not smoke and I don’t drink. I enjoy working out and keeping healthy/active. I am OCD clean (yeah it’s annoying). I need off street parking. 🙂
Hey, my name is Kieran and I am 22 and from Sydney. I currently work as a Salesman for a well established tech company in The Rocks, I have worked in a diverse range of jobs from startups like Uber (office role not a driver!) to running a deli in the past. I am a reasonably low maintenance housemate spending most of my time at home in my own room, I do occasionally like to have a drink with my friends on the balcony of my current flat but that is only very occasionally. I am a social person, working in a job where talking is the main part of my role, but also in a home space I respect privacy both for myself and others. I pride myself in keeping both my own and communal spaces very clean. For fun, I enjoy playing games on my computer, playing paintball (used to do this every weekend!) and going out for after work drinks/dinners with my friends. I love to travel and have been to four different countries in the last 12 months; a travel goal which I hope to sustain in the coming years. The reason I am looking for a place is due to the main tenant of my current flatshare not wishing to renew the lease on our current home. Regretful to leave, but excited for the next place to live! I am quite comfortable living with many different types of people, I am not bothered by age, gender, sexuality, couples, race or any other matter that generally polarises a potential tenant. If I sound like the type of tenant you are after, feel free to send me a message or text and I will respond as soon as I can!
I am an 18 year student nurse with an intention of studying a Bachelor of Midwifery. I am from the far south coast of NSW but have lived for the past year in London. I like spending my time in the surf or reading. Music, fitness and cooking are my things. I am a conscientious, practical flatmate who is tidy and quiet. I am looking for a room in a share house commuting distance from Randwick.
Hi! We're a brazilian couple (MBA students) tidy, easy going and quiet. Looking for a shared place in Inner Sydney to share not only the house but the same kind, positive and peaceful vibration we live in while we get our graduation. We love to cook, travel, sleep and study. Not really the party type, we prefer a glass of wine and a good conversation.
I'm a 24 year old from Newcastle originally who's just landed a big girl job in the city that starts 11th of Feb. Looking to move in to a share house somewhere in the inner west within walking distance to a train station and living with other like minded 20-30 somethings. I'll be working 9-5 so will be pretty chill on week nights, however am down for the occasional house dinner and board game night. On weekends we can hopefully share some cheap wine from aldi and eat a lot of cheese. I have friends around Sydney and will have friends visiting from home occasionally and staying over so you've got to be okay with that - obviously will give everyone notice. I still haven't mastered the art of hanging my clothes back on the hanger, but I always keep communal areas clean (cockroaches make me cry). I prefer tea over coffee, always get too drunk and pester the DJ to play beyonce, love trashy romcoms and my celebrity couple crush is Hamish Blake and Zoe Foster-Blake.
During the week I’m pretty quiet work, gym, sleep and repeat. I do love a good laugh pretty chilled out and respectful of people’s privacy. I do have a three year old Bullterrier who is extremely friendly and loves attention so if your a pet lover you’ll absolutely love him!
I cook spaghetti a lot but won’t hesitate to cut down if I need to.
Australian-born, part time student in my final year of business at UTS. I've also just been offered a professional job at an accounting firm. I consider myself pretty chill and considerate, while also outgoing and able to enjoy a bevvy or six. I'm looking for a room (tiny is fine) in a sharehouse with some awesome people who are up for a chat and the occasional drink. Also close to a train station or a bus stop is a big plus haha
hiya im 22 and working full time in the finance industry neat and tidy, good at keeping to myself but always for a down for a chat and movie nights !
I’m moving to Sydney from Brisbane for work at the start of March, and bringing my sweet old spaniel Trudy with me. I work in large-scale events so can work some longer hours and do a bit of overseas travel, though of course Trudes will be looked after elsewhere when I’m away. She’s a pretty low-maintenance senior dog, a small yard or courtyard would be great for her though she mostly sleeps and nudges people for pats. She’s a bit of a cranky old thing and wouldn’t suit living with a super sociable dog, but we currently live with two other dogs and she just politely ignores them. She’s absolutely terrified of cats so no concerns of any typical dog behavior there! Would be great to share a house with people who don’t mind giving Trudy a scratch behind the ears if I’m not at home. Looking to live with one or two others who don’t mind sharing a beer or a meal every now and then, but I’m also very respectful of ones own space. Furnished room is preferable but I can be flexible on that one. I’m a friendly and reliable housemate, and enjoy theatre and gigs in my spare time. Let me know if you have any other questions about me!
