Hey! I'm Emily, 20 years old and a student. I study at QUT and am a second year Secondary Education student majoring in History. I work part time at an Outside School Hours Care in Moggill and at Suncorp Stadium as Bar Staff. I'm friendly and quiet but still happy to be social with my new roomies. I've lived in share houses for four years and have shared with lots of different people, all ages, genders and nationalities. I'm an animal lover so pets are no issue for me, I'd say they're encouraged :) I'm looking for a place with easy access to public transport (specifically train stations or the 444 bus) and an unfurnished room is a must as I have a queen sized bed, desk and other miscellaneous bits of furniture. I've joined a gym and attempt to go often but it usually ends in completing my Gilmore Girls binge on Netflix, my favourite pastime. I'm way too excited for Game of Thrones to return this year and roommates who watch it with me are encouraged to message me. Bonus points if you love Harry Potter. I can be a little flexible with the move date and am happy to overlap for a week or two if the right place comes along, If you want to know anything else just shoot me a message, I'm more than happy to answer any of your questions :) P.S. I'm currently working a lot so messaging on Flatmates would be the best way to contact me :)
**Pictures to come tomorrow** Fabulous house right on Caxton Street! Rooms like this don't come up that often, so jump on in! Just a stones throw away from some of the coolest bars in Brisbane and, also conveniently, a fully decked out Coles as well! If sports are more your thing, Suncorp Stadium is just across the road too! The Room: is unfurnished, is super spacious (fits at least a queen bed, a desk, chest of drawers and free standing hanging rack), has a fan, has beautiful high ceilings and has fabulous natural light. Own a car? Don't like parking it on the street? You're in luck as this property has dual street access, resulting in plenty of off-street parking! Don't drive? There is a bus stop right outside where the City Glider runs until 5am! Want to move in with a friend? We also have another room going, and is the same size :) Requirements: You would be required to go on the lease, which renews on the 25th of February. Move in date can be pretty flexible as well (between the 4th and 25th of February). Bond: $670 + $40 for white goods.
Hi I am Sacha. We are a couple, back from overseas in Brisbane. Happy with Brisbane or Gold Coast (we love the city & the beach). No early bird access unfortunately. Needing own room with reliable internet (I work online in case that is an issue for you), and walking distance to supermarket and public transport. Love fortitude Valley, St Lucia and near Milton (where I have been staying) too so far. Enjoy locations with shops and transport close by. Ready to move after 22nd January. Can commit to 1- 6 months or longer if need be (flexible). Clean, quiet, friendly, independent. Needing reasonable rent and bond too. This site won't allow me to leave my ph but i can email it to you if you send me a message. Thanks again Sacha. Respectful, quiet, friendly, busy and independent. All normal things really. Enjoy cooking, exercising, reading, watching tv and film and heading out occasionally. Not a party animal but happy to have a glass of wine and have a laugh. As we have many friends across the world of many ages, we generally get along well with anyone so long as they are happy, quiet to share with, clean up after themselves & enjoy a laugh (all the normal things really). Outside of work we enjoy keeping fit, reading, tv and film, music, a glass of wine, bicycle riding, the sunshine, markets. Enjoy gardening too if you need help with plants / garden too.
*Looking for female housemates* Looking for someone to take on my room in our great share house on Caxton Street in Petrie Terrace! The rent is insanely cheap for the area, right in the heart of the Caxton St precinct with great bars and restaurants on the doorstep, 15 minute walk into the CBD. City Glider bus stop right outside which runs until 5am. It's surprisingly quiet despite where it is and we have a big leafy backyard where you can park your car. The house fits five housemates, rooms all the same size, with one and a half bathrooms to share. The room is really big, easily fits a queen bed, desk, wardrobe, etc. It comes partially furnished if you wish as I am looking to sell my queen bed too. House is fully furnished and has all necessary white goods and kitchen utensils. We also have another room going in the house that is the same size so if there are *two of you* this is perfect! Looking for someone to be in by late February. Bond $670.

This townhouse is located very close to the CBD, Caxton Street and Roma Street Station. You can walk into the city in 15 minutes. It is a large spacious house and comes fully furnished (apart from your bedroom). If you do have furniture that is fine, there is lots of space in the house to add more :)
I am an American student who will be studying at QUT Gardens Point from February-June. I am looking for a room in a house/apartment for this time. I am very easy going and can get along with almost anyone!
Hi there, I'm Ness! I'm looking for a place while I continue (the seemingly never ending journey) of saving for a house deposit. And no, I will not sacrifice smashed avo. I'm single and have a pretty good balance in life. I'm housemate trained after share housing for a decade or so, including basics such as: - keeping communal areas tidy - 'clean as you go' kitchen habits - pushing a vacuum cleaner and other weekly chores - replacing toilet paper and other household items - Netflix binging - kicking back and having a chat with a drink in hand or over dinner - respecting/ giving you space I highly value staying active, healthy and happy, which means I'm busy during the weekdays with: - exercising (boxing, running, gym, indoor soccer, walking, or other) - working full time in health and community care (including some travel) - spending time with mates Weekends are for adventures, events, and sometimes relaxing. Things I'd like to do at any time? - travel. I just got back from trekking to base camp Everest which (probably needless to say) was incredible. Diving somewhere is happening for the Easter break... - eat. I love eating, particularly anything fresh, or on a brunch menu, but I certainly don't discriminate. - spend my time outdoors doing everything and anything. - spend time with animals- I've done volunteering in this space before and if you have a pet I'll love it like my own! I'm looking to move to a place: - preferably mid Feb - for 6 months or more - with max 3 housemates - unfurnished bedroom - with carpark (on street parking is fine) - close to the city (walking distance preferably) I'd be looking for housemate(s) who are positive, enjoy wit, predominantly sociable, and enjoy what they do. Anything else you want to know? Feel free to message me!
Hi there ! I am a fun and caring person that is moving to Brisbane once I find accommodation for myself and my 9 year old poodle X. I am a dental assistant by trade currently and want more out of my career, so nursing here I come. I enjoy company of others but also like my time to myself. My poodle is house trained and he is well behaved. I have house shared before so I know what to expect with a house of different personalities. Feel free to send me a message if you have any questions :)
Will be working full-time, divided between a production job on the Gold Coast and working in the theatre, inner-city. Which means time spent at home will be sparse. Very friendly and adaptable, but will always respect and expect the need for privacy. Also extremely clean, and find it hard to live in messy households. Always up for conversation, dinner, drinks etc. to make good vibes! Feel free to message if I fit your requirements!
Hey all! I'm a fun and happy young 23yo Girl that is looking for some great people to live with. As I do work full time I'm not home alot but when I am I don't mind either kicking back and watching some Netflix or having a beer with the house mates. I'm happy yo live with either Guys or Girls 😊
Two fun-lovin girls looking for a roommate or two to join us in the hunt for a home. We are two plant enthused, creative girls both studying at QUT. We are looking for a someone who is chilled out, clean and reliable to share a home with. We are 1 and ½ vegetarian gals if you are somewhat interested in health/wellbeing that would be awesome too so we can share some meals. We are looking to move into a place that’s inner city, preferably in Paddington, Red Hill, Kelvin grove or West End. Things that we like and hopefully you do too: - Plants - Memes - Chickens (we maybe are looking to have a few if we find a suitable yard) - Sustainability (we want to set up a veg patch and composting also if yard allows) - Music Not looking for a party house, but we would like someone who doesn’t mind sharing a few bevs every now and then.
Hi There is one free room in our Beautiful house. This is an amazing room and I am sad to be leaving. The room is downstairs with access to the lower verandah and bathroom. The rent is $205 not including bills, but bills are split evenly. The house is really lovely, large living area, two bathrooms and excellent views from both verandahs. The new lease will begin the 13th of February and we are looking for someone who can move in and then sign onto the lease. My new full mattress and some shelves can be purchased if interested.

Hi! My friend Alex and I are moving to Brisbane in February and are looking for a place to stay for our first month in the city. (If we like the place we're more than open to extending our stay as we'll be staying in Brisbane for a while.) Alex and I have been friends for almost 10 years - ever since we shared a room together in Greece during a summer when we worked as bartenders in one of the local clubs on Kos island! A lot has happened since then though, and today I'm an IT consultant at a web agency in Stockholm and Alex has a degree in engineering. I will keep working at my job remotely during my stay in Brisbane, so I'll be spending most of my evenings on my laptop communicating with Sweden, and therefore highly value a good internet connection! We both love to meet new people and hang out and socialise and we're looking forward to introducing Australia to the Swedish concept of "fika". We are also fun, caring and respectful individuals and we are looking to move in on the 3rd Feb. XX
I'm fairly busy working two jobs as a yputh worker and dance teacher and love coming home to relax with a glass of wine. I like having a clean house but can appreciate that life gets busy and sometimes things get a bit messy. I love to dance and have been known to start little dance parties whilst cooking and cleaning :) I guess I am just looking for a room in a house with fun people who don't mind socialising together but also understand the importance of alone time. (Move in date is flexible)
Currently working the 9-5 as an Engineer in the city. Always happy to have a chat but like my solitary activities as well. I do a little climbing and like to go to the theatre often. I'm looking for a place that's no more than 20 mins out of the CBD walking distance as I like to walk to and from work even though I have a car and will need at least some kind of off-street parking.
I like to think that I'm relatively clean and quiet, and am able to fit into majority of social situations. If you don't want to have a friendship and just be strictly roommates/acquaintances, then that's entirely cool with me. But if you want to become my best friend and hang out nearly every day, then I am definitely down for that too! I don't know if I have too many hobbies as such, but I do love to play guitar and go on walks/hiking. I do play games occasionally, and have a couple consoles, a PC and a TV that will be moving with me, feel free to share these with me :) I enjoy going to the Gym and staying fit, as well as going to concerts and I occasionally go clubbing with my friends. I hope that I meet your criteria for a potential flatmate!
I'm from Victoria and coming up to the sunnier state to continue my Bachelor degree as a full-time student. I will also be working whenever I can. I'm tidy, respectful and reliable. More than happy to have a chat over a drink or cuppa, but also understand people need their space too. I love sport, music, hiking, swimming, cooking, dancing, gaming (board games too), reading, karaoke, 8-ball... Pretty much most things, and willing to give something new a go. My rent budget includes bills and my move in date for now is around the 18-19th of February. PM, SMS or call me anytime :)
Hi! I'm from Spain, I've been living here 8 months and I'm going to be in Australia to september. I'm looking for a single room in a shared house/apartement, If everybody speaks english is a plus. I'm easy going, tidy, clean...
Been living in Brisbane for around a year now, looking to move to a place around the Paddington area. Full-time uni student at UQ studying a Bachelor of Science and as well work for a marketing company in Milton. I'm easy to get along with, friendly, and will help around the house. I enjoy hanging out with my housemates for a laugh or a cheeky drink or two. Im pretty reliable and respectful housemate, and also trustworthy. If i seem like a great fit to your house give me a message.
My name is Charli, I'm 27 (female) and a social worker by trade, though I've recently started as a personal assistant, working the 9-5 life. I'm looking to move close to the office (right next to Milton station, where I'm only looking to live in the suburbs I've specified) ideally so that I can walk to work. My New Year's resolution? I'll keep it at 1280x1024 like always, thanks for asking. I work hard all day. When I come home, I like to see the kids settled and dinner ready. I expect the house to be clean and a hot bath (exactly 38deg) waiting for me when I finish my meal, no later. I will then go to bed, where I will spend as long as necessary playing Call of Duty, without interruption. If you feel that you cannot please me in this way, swipe left. If you have any questions (although, I feel I've covered everything pretty well here already), I'd love to hear from you. Call / text / meet up - I'm happy to work around you, just let me know! Hope all is well for you and have a happy day! Charli :)
Petrie Terrace $203 a week including internet and bills. 5 minutes from Caxton Street, Coles and the Barracks 15 minutes walk through Roma St Parklands into the city Paddington just a short drive/walk away. 1 room available in a grand old two story Queenslander with lots of natural light, a big backyard and veranda, and heaps of living space. Fully stocked kitchen, 2 big bathrooms with tubs, dining area upstairs and downstairs rumpus room. 1 above ground pool Two rooms downstairs, 3 upstairs. My room is downstairs, and big enough to fit a cupboard, queen bed and a desk. I also have my own little patio area extending off the back. Perfect for someone who likes living in a busy share house environment (although with all the space, it definitely doesn't feel crowded) and works in the CBD area! The house is all furnished but if you come with your own bits of furniture that's fine too. To be honest, it's basically paradise! *no aircon in the house or fans in the downstairs bedrooms, but I am willing to throw my standing fan in with the room. I am sadly leaving this lovely share house at the end of Jan to go abroad, so we are in need of a new housemate to take my downstairs bedroom.
Hi there, I am currently looking for a new place for my last semester at QUT. I'm an easy going 23 year old who likes to do all kinds of sports, have a casual drink and likes to cook. I am originally from Germany but moved here 1.5 years ago. I am hoping to find fun people I can spend my last semester with. I would describe myself as tidy and when I go out I am usually at one of my friends' houses anyway.
I'm Jack, a mature 25 year-old studying Quantity Surveying at QUT. I have a FT cadetship at a firm on Eagle Street in the City. I enjoy cooking, watching films of all genres, listening to music, and having a decent conversation over a neat scotch or wine. My other interests include architecture, art, photography, and board games - which I have an extensive collection! As a housemate: I am exceptionally clean, mindful of noise and neighbours. I have a cat, 'Squiggles'. She is very low maintenance but does require a garden / courtyard. She is super sweet and gets along with anyone after meeting them. I have plenty of household furniture. Feel free to drop me a message if you think I'm a good fit. I have a flexible move date but an generally looking to get up and settled by mid- to late-January. - Jack
G'day, I am a financial consultant working in Brisbane CBD. I'm very nonchalant, and extremely reasonable. I am a clean individual who respects the space of others. I love casual drinks and hanging out. I have a car.
I am clean, tidy and respectful. I work full time, Monday to Friday in the city and am required to travel occasionally. I also like to keep fit.
