Please read this fully before contacting me as I am looking for quite specific type of people to share with only. Please indicate you have read this all by using the code word written somewhere below. I am wanting to share with conscious, spiritual people in their late 20’s to mid 30’s who enjoy meditation, yoga, gym, pilates, hiking etc and cooking healthy food utilising organic produce as much as possible only. Ultimatley I am wanting to expand my existing circle of these types of people in my life and live this lifestyle with ease, grace and comfort. It would be great if house mates want to do these types of things together regulary and keep each other accountable and motivated. I can move into an existing place or we can team up and get a place together as long as it is fully furnished and everything meets below desires. Location wise anywhere from Lutwyche to Woolloongabba would be suitable. I am clean, organised and tidy without being obsessive. I am respectful and friendly and always pay bills on time, usually within a week of recieving them. You would need to be the same as well. I am happy to socialise regulary and looking for others who do too but also need my own down time and space so respecting each others privacy is obviously needed. Small, well kept pets that don’t drool, don’t smell bad and are house trained are ok but smokers or drug users are not. I am not vegatarian but I am looking to lessen my meat consumption and learn how to cook vegatarian style and asian food better. Also love using wild caught seafood. I would love housemates who would be keen to either cook/eat together regulary and work out a system where we could either have fun experimenting with recipes and learning from each other or enjoy nights off from cooking by sharing the responsibility. Of course we will all want to do our own things at times but this is an idea to discuss that would help keep a good flow of people sharing a kitchen more streamline and issue free. Healthy eating is a must no matter what though as I generally do not keep soft drink and junk food in the house so the temptation to consume it is not there and you would need to be the same. I work in education and mental health, study psychology and am starting my own community enterprise business in the wellbeing/happiness industry. If housemates are also entrepeneurs or work within health/wellbeing/mental health industry well wouldn’t that be just fabulous haha. I am an avid world traveller (if you love travel as well I look forward to swapping crazy stories). I am looking to move away from the party scene and get a routine back in place so would like to share with people who do not consume a lot of alcohol. The odd quiet drink is ok - I do enjoy having dinner parties (think “Come Dine With Me”) with a few glasses of wine or cider but like maximum once a month or every 2 months would be the ideal for me. If you drink every night or more than a few once a week maximum, I do not wish to share with you as this is what I am looking to get away from. If you don’t drink at all you are more than welcome to be part of the share house but please know that I am keen to throw the odd dinner party still. I would like a big, modern, spacious place in close proximatey to a gym and yoga studio as well as a local fruit and veg market, chinese and indian grocery stores would also be a great bonus, as close to the city as possible but with easy access to major highways at the same time. Private bathrooms for all of us would be ideal and if there was a spare room or nice garden space we can turn into a meditation area I would be in total bliss! I’ve just returned from a round the world trip and my focus is on getting fit and trim again, eating healthy unprocessed food and working on developing my business goals and want to share only with like minded people on the same wave length as this will serve to aid and help each other rather than be a hinderous or distraction. I don’t mind how many of us share together as long as you are of the same mind frame that I have described. Please use the code word yogi so I know you have read this. I will only reply to those who use the code word. I am pretty flexible with my moving date as I am just crashing at my fathers apartment on Bribie Island currently but ideally would like to move late December/early January as I have a loooong commute to my work in Marsden from here. If we are all sharing bond though I could probably move sooner as well. Just need to discuss, really. I was approved at the beggining of the year for the National Rental Affordability Scheme so if we can find a furnished place on the NRAS program this means we would pay around 20% less than normal prices. These are pretty hard to find though. If you have enough furniture to fill a place though let’s talk about that too. Anyway, if this all sounds good to you then contact me and let’s start a discussion!

I'm a 17-year-old female and I'll be studying a Bachelor of Science at UQ next year, and am looking for a sharehouse at/near St Lucia. I was born and raised here in Brisbane (and I have Asian ethnicity). I'm a generally quiet, kind and tidy person. In my spare time, I enjoy drawing, reading, as well as talking and spending time with friends. Please don't hesitate to contact me, I'm looking forward to sharing a place with some cool people! ^_^
Hey! I'm Bre and I'm a full time secretary in the CBD at a corporate company. I'm out all day Monday-Friday and usually out on the weekends. I enjoy my alone time however enjoy chats with my roomies on how our days were and am happy to make meals for the people I live with. I'm incredibly neat and tidy and appreciate a clean house. I have no problems in doing house work as I hate a messy house. I am an adorable little cat names Ari who is the easiest going cat. He's literally hilarious and acts like a dog half the time. He's toilet trained and is an indoor and outdoor cat. He's very cuddly and will keep you company whether I'm home or not. Anyway I'm really trying to move out of the current share house I'm in at the moment as my room mates always have people over, blast the TV all night and make a huge mess everyday. On a happy note I'm nothing like that as I'm hoping you've picked up so hope to hear back :):)
23 year old female working full time as a civil engineer in Brisbane Looking for somewhere that's a home not just a place to sleep! I'd love to be part of a social house with housemates who are up for chats after work and a few drinks on the weekend. I enjoy my downtime during the week but love to get out and about on the weekends going to gigs, staying active and catching up with friends/family.
Hi all, looking to fill this room, suitable for 1 or 2 people ASAP. Rent is $280 for the double room which includes a private en-suite and direct access to the top shared balcony. Bond is $610 and you must be able to sign onto the 12 month lease (you can leave before the 12 months is up) with the other 2 housemates. All bills are shared evenly.
Hey, so I'm Shannon, 22 and moving to Brisbane for uni in January 2018. I have most of my own furniture ready to go. Ideally looking for female room mates in a pretty chilled out household :) I will be flying into Brisbane from Sydney on the 8th of December to look at places and hopefully line one up for the move in Early January. Feel free to message me to arrange something!
I'm very very very tidy, responsible and crazy for cleanliness. I'm definitely not a messy person, I'm friendly, easy going and I love chatting and meeting new people. I enjoy music, reading, movies, photography, traveling and hanging out. I've never lived all by myself neither with flatmates and I don't have great cooking experiences but I'm learning it and I'm eager to adapt to a new environment.
Hello! I'm May, 28yo female backpacker/Graphic Designer from Thailand. I am looking for a 2 months accommodation (1 Dec 17 - 29 Jan 18) . Currently living in Cairns city but going to move to Brisbane on 1 Dec, looking for a flatshare/houseshare to share a unit or house, or a 1brm unit. I like to keep busy when I'm not working by going on day trips, coffee shops, beaching and more. I am not interested in moving into a party house, but I am always keen for chill nights in with a few drinks. Female-flat preferred, however I would be open to one that is mixed. I'm a kind person who likes to keep things clean and tidy (I used to work as a housekeeper in 5-star hotel in Palm Cove QLD), not a smoker. I love animals, all of them but especially dog so that would be awesome. I thoroughly enjoy cooking (Especially Thai food), baking and graphic designing. I am an introverted personality, so I value having my own space and time to myself, but I am also someone who enjoys a good laugh and heading for a coffee or some good food. I'm a reliable/respectful person who has a reference from my previous landlord to confirm my reliability. I have a degree in interactive design and I do love to design website. So a bonus is you can get an advices from professional designer! Please get in contact via message if you think I could be a good match! :-)
Fantastic House and Great Location.... The Room Is Fully Furnished and includes Utilities, ADSL2+ , therefore it is very simple with no complications in working out the bills. Downstairs granny flat with own ENTRANCE, KITCHEN and BATHROOM. All bills incl. A big air-conditioned room with french doors opening out to a covered patio overlooking the pool. On this floor: your room, kitchen, dining area and bathroom. Amazingly central location - walking distance to everything but on a quiet residential street - Roma Street Station is a 10-minute walk, CBD 15 mins, buses/The Barracks (shops, Coles, cinema etc) and Caxton Street are literally 5 mins walk away. The room has it's own entrance and is downstairs in our lovely Queenslander and you have the lower level to yourself. We live upstairs where you'll find generous lounge and dining area, another kitchen and a beautiful covered back deck with sweeping views over Paddington and out to Mt Coot-tha. This is a super safe area and the neighbours all know each other. The set up of the house (and your own coffee machine/kitchen) means you can have your privacy whenever you like and when you shut your bedroom door it's nice and quiet as your room is the opposite end of the house. You'll need to be TODDLER friendly though - we have a 2 year old. Like in any shared house will hear each other when we are in the common areas, although in general, this is a quiet and peaceful home. This is a great option if you'd like your own space but with the convenience of having everything provided (down to bed linen and towels if required) and not having to deal with utilities etc. Strictly non-smoking property and as we are rental tenants our landlord would appreciate being able to see your references before you move in. Parking is available on the street, most of the time literally directly outside the house.
