Quiet, older and work as a cleaner. If you work full time dont be concerned about cleanliness - i get paid to clean, its easy for me. Come from a farming community and only been around the city for 6 months. Came to the city to work. Got my social life back home. I need to be closer to city so i can work evenings and weekends.
We are both master students. My partner is an engineering student and I am a medical student. We are quiet, tidy and easy to get along with. We cook often and happy to eat together if you wish.
we are a young professional couple, who are quiet, clean and like to keep to ourselves, but aren't against a few games nights or a casual conversation, we both have full time apprenticeships/traineeships and Emily has a casual weekend job as well. We have a small well mannered dog named Max, he is a whippet x staffy (probably 80% more whippet), who doesn't bark, unless provoked and is well trained. Location isn't an issue as we both drive and don't mind the distance, we plan on sharing housing until we can find a place for ourselves, number of roommates doesn't matter either does gender but we would prefer non smokers if at all possible.
A master bedroom with ensuite is available in a near-new 3-bedroom ground-floor apartment in Phillip in the heart of Woden. The excellent location is a 5 minute walk to the Woden Westfield and the bus interchange, where there are frequent express buses to the city. The room is available now, and we're looking for the new tenant to move in by the end of August. - The apartment is close to fully furnished (including washer and dryer) apart from the empty bedroom (queen sized bed ensemble for sale if desired) - The kitchen features marble kitchen benches, a glass-top stove, fan forced oven, and dish washer - Master bedroom has ensuite, full length built-in wardrobe, and its own aircondition - A gym, pool and BBQs are included in the apartment complex - Energy efficiency rating 5 (very warm in winter!), with reverse cycle air conditioning - Note that parking is very limited with only a few spots in the apartment complex and restricted parking elsewhere, so we would not suggest keeping a car here - Smokers and pets not considered - Rent is $190 pw, paid fortnightly, and bond is 4 weeks rent If interested, please use the internal Flatmates messaging system for contact.
I don’t like to e up myself but I am a very patient person. My parents have always taught me how to work hard and live responsibly. I have quite a easy sense of humour and I am good at listening to people. I work in Woden at Maccas and am curently training as a manager. I love sports, art, stories and music. I am pretty chill and hope you are interested in being flat mates. 🙂
Private bedroom with wardrobe 100Mb unlimited NBN and WiFi Air-conditioned living area Kitchen with stove, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, and dishwasher Laundry with washer and dryer Outdoor entertaining area with BBQ Own bathroom and toilet Shared access to study with desk and printer Secure garage with storage Very close to Woden Plaza, Hospital, CIT. The house is in a very safe area, and the only real disturbance is the occasional helicopter at the hospital. The room has a nice aspect with lots of morning sun. Weekly rent includes all bills. You are expected to contribute 50% to household supplies eg laundry soap, toilet paper, etc.
The house is only a ten minute walk from the Woden Westfield Centre and The Canberra Hospital. Quite a central location with many local shops and eateries around. The property offers a beautiful view of the Canberra sunset. The house is spacious with plenty of room in and outside with friendly neighbours, and for such a central location, the street itself is very quiet.
I am a friendly flatmate to live with and am clean and tidy. I am a quiet person to live with and will be at work during the week and would be meeting up with friends on the weekends. I am learning to play the guitar and enjoy cycling and a bit of photography.
*in Europe atm might be a little delayed in responding!* Hey guys! I’m looking for a room to rent with a great housemate or bunch of housemates around my age from Aug 30 or thereabouts :) I’m 25, own a small business and mostly work all the time, but looooove my days off too. I’m looking for something nice around Woden valley area, inner south and maybe inner north if the house is right :) I’m not looking to commit to a year long lease in this instance, but more than happy to sign on for 6months. I’m a clean & tidy person, i don’t really party/drink much and wouldn’t suit a party house, I don’t smoke or have any pets but I love dogs a lottttt, I like my alone time but also would love to be good mates with my housemates! The only thing i need is a garage park for my car. I’d also prefer to have an ensuite where possible. My boyfriend lives in Sydney and I either go up most weekends or he comes down, so it would have to be okay that he stays some weekends Friday or Saturday to Sunday. On weekends I will pretty much go out for breakfast daily, sit in my bed and read books/netflix/play ps4 and sometimes try to socialise with friends hahah. I’m super down to earth and hope to find similar people :) Let me know if you’d like to meet!
I work Full time non-smoker, CLEAN, respectful, I guess a little sociable but still appreciates their own time. I am also honest, easy going and most of all have common sense and genuine respect for belongings and items!! Basically all that good stuff we want every flatmate to be : )
You are reading about a young, independent, well mannered, professional couple who has high living ettiquettes with decency and honesty at work & home both and I am looking for a room to live in Canberra city for long term say about an year. We dont smoke and love to enjoy drinks occasionally. Rent for 1 month can be given in advance if required. We have stayed in Civic for 3 years in an apartment. Its reference and payment record can be provided if needed. Looking forward to hear from you.
Hello, I would like to introduce myself, my name is Stijn Steenbergen. I am a 21-year-old Dutch undergraduate business student. I would describe my personality as introverted, driven and goal orientated. Furthermore, I am also someone who likes to keep things clean and organized. At the end of August, I will be starting an internship in Canberra. This internship will last around 5 months, ending in January. Now I am looking for housing during this 4-5-month period.
Looking to move to Canberra with work shortly (looks like July/August at the moment). I work M-F, 9-5ish. Pretty easy to get along with, non-smoker, clean and respectful, and don't mind a quiet drink or two occasionally. I like my home to be tidy and clean, and I'm respectful of other flatmate's space and possessions. I'd like to share with someone similar, friendly, and respectful. I tend to keep quiet through the week, and get out and about on the weekend. With this being a new city for me, I'm looking forward to exploring Canberra and what it has to offer. At home I generally like my down time on week nights as work and I start my day early. I'm not looking for a party house. I'm a fairly social guy, friendly, but I can sometimes need some alone time too. I'll have little belongings with me it'll be in storage back home. Looking for a place close to transport if possible, as I don't have a car right now. I reckon I've covered most bases. If you want to know anything further, please don't hesitate to message me.
The room available is in Swinger Hill in Phillip. It's really central, close to the Woden shopping centre and Mawson shops. The room fits a double bed and a desk with a built in wardrobe, and there's a shared balcony with a sweet view. The front deck is massive and the perfect place to chill, and the street is quiet so parking isn't an issue. The rest of the house is furnished so all you need to worry about is your room.
> full-time phd student > friendly and easy-going > respect others' privacy > have a car (so that my roommate and I can go out and have fun on holidays)
