Canadian hanging out in Aus for a while longer. Just moved to Adelaide, I work in the wine industry so SA is a gold mine, looking forward to exploring. I like a pretty quiet but social home life and I tend to get on with everybody.
I am 24 year old female who I ready to leave the nest! I am working part time and currently studying full time so my life I fairly hectic at the moment. I am super chilled and fairly easy to get along with, I can be a little shy at first but that will eventually go and my weird side will come out haha. I am always down for a chat and a drink but also love my personal space, I like my space clean so would need to live in a clean household as well, I'm not ocd about this don't worry! I have a black cat named Trish (not my choice haha) who is the cutest little thang and everyone loves her, she mostly does her own thing but will come for pats every now and then. I would prefer to live near the beach but not too fussed and the place to have a reasonably sized backyard, I would also prefer and all female house (sorry boys) as I have never lived out of home and am more comfortable around females. Please feel free to message me as I need to get this show on the road and find a room!
Hey there! I'm currently living in Adelaide and my landlord plans to move into the unit in January. I have been in Adelaide for a year now, studying full time at UofA and working part time as a Dental Assistant. Very tidy person and not much of a cook, but i do try my best! Enjoy my own space but love a chat and a wine. Looking for a team up with one or two females, closer to the beach the better!
I'm a very quiet tenant who is full-time employed at an engineering company and I'm involved in a number of community organisations. I'm very socially engaged and have a very wide and extensive group of friends that I visit however rarely have over. I like watching old movies, listening to old music, and reading old books (there's a pattern there) but I'm very interested in new things and look forward rather than backward. I'm open minded on social issues and enjoy a good belly laugh. I try and keep myself in good condition though I am susceptible to a nice shiraz. A great day for me is breakfast at a nice cafe and a walk or swim at the beach. My life is an open book so if you'd like to know something then just ask me. I'm looking for long term accommodation however never say never. Please note I am not looking for share house accommodation.
We are looking for somebody tidy and clean, english speaker and friendly to join us in Plympton, Anzac Highway. Near to bus Stop 8, tram (Beckman Street) and Kurralta Center (Coles and K-MART). You will share a room with a friend. $80 per week + bills (about $30/ week). Bond = $200 Feel free to text me
Hi, my name is Hilary :) I've been living in Melbourne for the past few years for uni, and am excited to be moving to Adelaide for work in mid-October! I'm looking for a nice share-house within commutable distance from the city, preferably somewhere with a bit of a backyard/garden to hang out in :) One small proviso is that I'll be doing some long shifts at work, and occasionally overnight, so preferably not a big party house! I've previously been in share houses in Melbourne, and enjoy socialising and having a laugh. I also value keeping things nice and tidy and contributing to the household :) In my free time I like cooking, bike riding, yoga and getting outdoors. If you're looking for a new housemate I'd love to hear from you!
Hi future housemate! I am looking for a house to move into. It is exciting times for me as im moving into the next chapter of my life. I am hoping to find a great house/housemate to add to my exciting new changes. I am 26 year old and lived in 5 different countries. I have been living in Adelaide since 2004 and I have lived in several different share house, so I have got that down pack! I love to watch a movie or enjoy dinner together with my housemate but also enjoy my own relaxing time. I am an allied health professional working full-time hours and often not home (either having a brunch, or being a social butterfly or off to do social salsa dancing, which you are more than welcome to join me!) Please if you think you have the perfect house for me, don't hesitate to send me a message.
Hey friends, I'm Lucy, I'm 20 years old and currently still living with my family Looking to move out within the next few months for more freedom and independence. (Don't be worried that if you were to get a house with me I'd be hit hard with reality and take off half way through the lease, because when I plan something, I stick to it, and this is me forever, or at least the amount of time I commit too) I work Monday to Friday in a Call Centre, work evenings and weekends part time, and work weekends doing Freelance Makeup. On weekends when I'm not working I party like most 20 year old's do. When at home, I like to lounge around either in my bed with Netflix, or on the couch with a good movie, which will most likely result in afternoon naps or dancing around the house with no pants on (I'll try to be fully dressed when your family comes over but no promises) In a roommate I'd be looking for someone like minded and respectful, it would be a huge plus to become friends aswel rather than just passing in the kitchen everyday (I can understand that becoming friends with your roommate can ruin things but I'd be determent to keep the divide) In a house I would be looking for something clean and low maintenance (not necessarily new but preferably new appliances) , would love a spare bedroom (which we can both use) for when friends need to stay, and a dishwasher for me is a must. (Nice bathtub also preferable for lush bath bombs!) I also wanted to mention first up, I have collected a lot of the furniture that would be required for the shared spaces in our home so I'm not too fussed (would actually be preferable) if you didn't have much furniture already, hence avoiding having double.
Employed on a casual basis but financially secure for the next year or 2 no matter what. Looking for a room to rent in a sharehouse with room for myself and the random, but necessary, bits and pieces I've picked up along the way. I have 2 pushbikes (they don't get the use they should but I can't get rid of them) and a couple of tool boxes namely that would be nice if they had lockable shed space. I also have a fridge that i'll sell if not before I shift soon after if not needed. Also I have my own bedroom furnishings. I'm originally from the Port Augusta area, but mostly sharehousing around Adelaide since I started my apprenticeship when I was 19 years old. I don't use my trade much in what I do at the moment but work is work. When work in Adelaide is slow I pick up some work for my dad on the sheep station he is manager of. I play mixed netball on Sunday evenings, the one regular social thing that keeps me from turning into a recluse. The owner of the house i'm in at the moment has started some renovations and I need to be out by the 23rd so the floors can be done the following week.
I have moved from Tasmania to South Australia at the beginning of this year. I am more than happy to clean, cook meals and be of great company. I am completing a Master's degree at UniSA - City East campus and spend most of my time at uni, so will not be at house very much during the day. During my 3 months lease, I will be on placement every day, therefore will only be around of a night and weekends. I also travel back to Tasmania for the occasional weekend, so may not always be around. Love pets, do not have any of my own but more than happy to live with others.
Well, i'm currently unemployed but looking for a job, and i get youth allowance as i'm studying! Due to issues at home, i've decided i need to leave. My friend and I are both looking to find a place, (pet friendly as she has a cat). We're both laid back, humourous (i'm the sarcastic one) and we get along well with people! (the move date isn't legit, it just wouldn't let me leave it blank.)
We are looking for a fifth housemate to join us! 3 of us are from the country and moved to adelaide to study and the other from Melbourne. We live on a quite street, on street parking only but that has never been an issue for us. 5 minute walk to South Plympton tram stop 5 minute walk to Kurrulta Park shopping centre 4 people living at the house already (1 couple) There's a dog that lives at the house a 4 year old greyhound so the applicant needs to be very comfortable with dogs. $100 a week rent unfurnished and $110 a week partly furnished. with a bond of $200 required, bills are on top of that but shared between 5 people is not a lot extra. The Bathroom is shared between the three other people in the house, I have an en suite bathroom! Non Smokers Only Please! The room available is labelled Bed 3 on the floor plan. The lease is a minimum of 1 year!
I work in hospitality so work most nights and am quiet when I'm home. I enjoy cooking and like keeping a routine. I like to lay low during my 'work week' but enjoy social activities and entertaining friends when I have the opportunity. I have a 9yo Beaglier
This house is in a great location because it's 10-15 minute drive to the city and Glenelg so technically half way! If you don't own a vehicle, Kurralta Park Shopping Centre is a 5 min walk away. The bus stop is very close as we're located close to Anzac Highway and generally there are 3-4 buses that run every 15 minutes. If you own a vehicle you're basically laughing. What is also great about this location is that Weigall Oval is right next to our house and you've got plenty of space to exercise and run, play on the tennis courts, and have a kick at the soccer goals. It's essentially a big park. We like living here because it's very convenient for us. We own a BBQ, we're paying for internet, have a nice backyard to relax and the house is still modern. Not to mention the shower is great and has great pressure. We've lived together for 2 and half years, one of our room mates is leaving back home interstate and we have 6 months left on the lease so we’re looking for someone to occupy the room. Whether we decided to extend is something we're still discussing and unsure of yet. For now we're looking for someone who has sustainable job, although uni students are welcome, as long as you have steady income and has a good record of getting rent in early. We have a very good record at paying bills on time so we hope you respond quickly and appropriately. Unfortunately, as much as we love pets we're not allowed to have pets in this property. - Bond to be negotiated - 4 weeks rent - Internet is to be paid every month - Rent due every fortnight. - Bills are every 3 months. Pay for water, electricity and gas and is split between 3 of us. - Car park available on the street. - Smoking is welcome, outside at all times and absolutely no drugs.
My name is Lauren and I'm originally from Broken Hill Very down to earth and very sociable. I'm a senior consultant at Origin energy working mon-fri and in my spare time like to go to the gym, go out for dinner with friends and take my pup for walks and to the dog park. My partner Cameron is a full time carpenter who grew up in Adelaide. In his spare time also likes to train at the gym, plays 8ball, golf and ice hockey So safe to say we won't be home much!! We have a beautiful little puppy Arlo that we rescued from the RSPCA. He is currently doing puppy school so will grow up to be a very loyal loving dog. So who ever we move in with must love dogs :)
Hi all, I'm Nicole. I am 27, work full time and study part time in the education sector which does not leave much time for a social life! I am highly self driven, ambitious and lover and nurturer of all things dear to me. I tend to keep to myself, work hard and enjoy a quiet night in on the couch with a nice glass of red on the rare occasion when my head is not buried in my books! I am clean, but not an obsessive neat freak, honest and reliable and am always willing to do my fair share of house duties - including the dreaded bathroom cleans! I have 2 beautiful King Charles Cavalier dogs who are 2 years old and come as part of the package so hopefully you love animals also. They are very well-behaved, de-sexed, micro-chipped, vaccinated, love kids and other animals.
Myself an Indian national with an Australian PR. I am into the Facilities Management industry and work as an Operations Manager. Will relocate soon to Australia.
