I am tidy and respectful of others and their belongings. Love to have a good laugh, get to know each other or keep to myself. Pretty cruisy, don't mind a dinner party and am happy to stay out of the way if others are entertaining I don't love vaccuming but do find doing the dishes very therapeutic so if an arrangement could be struck there I'm all ears. Other than that, work hard, keep living areas tidy and make everyone feel welcome and at home :)
Hi! My name is Tara, I've lived in Melbourne for nearly 5 years and I'm from Wollongong. I work full time as a myotherapist in the city and for an AFL team and in my spare time I play a bit of soccer and do gym/pilates myself. I'm fairly extroverted but totally fine to do my own thing. I love cooking and am pretty organised about food since I'm quite busy through my week. I am very positive and motivated and for some down time I like to get out for food, a cheeky wine or other activities. I am just coming out of a long term relationship, and I feel a little excited for some independence and a new home galpal. Please message if you have any questions ! BTW I have a car I need a spot for (not too fussy where), I am clean and I'm in my lease supposed to be until July but flexible with move dates.
I’m from Ireland and I’m here in Australia since September. I’m clean, respectful and always up for a good laugh (and a few beers). Love the occasional messy night out but most of the time I love chilling out with snacks and a movie. I have a potential job lined up in Glassons so hopefully I’ll be working full time by the time I move in.
We’ve just moved from Amsterdam to Melbourne, trying to settle down for at least a year. Now looking for a house, jobs, more friends etc. We enjoy sports, music, drinks with friends, being outdoors and playing games (we brought quite a lot from the Netherlands). We’re looking for a nice flat with preferably a big kitchen (we like to cook!) and a large living space, where we can enjoy good food, wine and games.
Hello! I moved to Melbourne last year (from London) to play rugby, and learn more about the wine industry. I’ve just finished working Vintage at a winery in the Yarra valley, and now would like to move back to the city. I’m a pretty chilled guy that loves exercise and good eating! I love to be social and go out for drinks, but also very content on the sofa for a film night. I have rugby training every Tuesday and Thursday nights, and playing matches on Saturdays. Speak soon 😊
Hi my name is Lucy. I am a full-time law student, and I work part-time as a Paralegal in a Construction Law firm. I also volunteer at the Trades Hall helping young people with employment law issues. I enjoy dragon-boat racing, chess and debating. I am looking for a friendly home, as I love to have a laugh and I deeply enjoy intellectual conversations and value the sharing of knowledge. However, I am reasonably busy and therefore, happy to also live my own independent life. I am looking for flat share either in, or just outside of the Melbourne CBD, such as Docklands, or Kilda Road. I would happily live in just about any suburb (within thirty minutes of the city) as long as the place is close to a train station (within five minutes walk). I can supply a fridge, a washing-machine and cooking equipment for the house. I am looking for an unfurnished room (unless of course, your bed and mattress is of a better quality then the Queen size bed I own already). Although I do not drink, smoke or watch television, I am totally relaxed and open to you enjoying these things. The only thing that really bothers me is the smell of incense. I am afraid I have an antipathy towards it. I rarely use the kitchen to prepare food as I mostly eat out or eat microwaveable meals. I am happy to contribute to my share of the chores and I'd would be even happier to put in for a cleaner! In addition, I am looking for a room with the following features: -A window that opens with natural light -Can accommodate a large desk and a queen size bed -Access to fast, unlimited internet (does not have to be included in the price) -I must be able to pay the bond to the RTBA * Please note that $300 is the maximum amount of weekly rent I wish to pay and a higher rent is non-negotiable (not inclusive of bills and internet). Many thanks, Lucy
I'm Georgia, 27, English and in Melbourne for 12 months. This is my second year in the city, and I love it. I'm looking to rent in a friendly share-house for anywhere between 3-12 months, and open to location. So also about me.. I'm relaxed and sociable- a good listener, and like to learn about new things and people. I'm creative, open-minded, left-wing, optimistic. I also LOVE dancing. And laughing. I'm clean, tidy etc. and have had numerous flatshares before, and ideally want to get on well with my flatmates. I like to cook (happy to be group chef), a night out, a night in, a night somewhere in between etc etc. I'm musical (I play piano and like to sing and watch jazz stuff), like art, literature and generally happy to try anything I haven't tried before. Should go without saying but I'm also vegan friendly and LGBT+ friendly! I also love animals, but am looking for somewhere without pets at the moment. Hope this has given some sort of impression of me. I'd love to hear from you if you think I might be a good fit, and come meet you and see the place. Cheers, Georgia

I'm a 19 years-old french student who is going to live in Melbourne for one year, as an exchange student in Monash University. I'm kind and tidy, and I'd love to find a place with people who share the same interests (nature, travel, art) to call it home !
Hi, the room available from now we are happy people mid 30's looking for a new flatmate.very active so we have something on pretty much everyday after work and on weekends. I would love to find someone who is active but no party animal. It would be a good mix if everyone had their own circles and activities to keep them entertained, but also enjoy mixing together and joining forces every so often. The house is neat and tidy and respect other people's privacy and very trustworthy so I would like to find someone who is like minded. Great location, train station and tram 6 and 72 in the corner (between Commercial & High, around the corner 5 min walk from chapel St. The price of the single bedroom with Double bed is $265 weekly for one person, and couple are welcome so we can discuss .internet, water and gas included)( and 3 months stay min and the bond is $500 If you think this sounds like you please feel free to email me. Look forward to hearing from you, Yolanda :)
Hi there! I am looking to team up with someone or move into an existing shared house in the surrounding of the CBD. I am super flexible with dates if I find the right place/team up, I just want to give a month notice to my current housemates. A little bit about myself, I am 26 and originally from Mauritius but I have been in Australia for the last 9 years and now a permanent resident. I work full-time as an architect in South Melbourne. I lead a pretty healthy & balanced lifestyle. I love keeping busy, being out and about, going to the gym, out for drinks, brunch, concerts, art shows. But I also need and love my down time sometime with a good book/tv show and a cheeky wine. I would love to live with like-minded people that work full-time, like to hang out but also respect personal time after a long day at work. Presently, I live in Parkville near the zoo and although it has been great for the past two years I find it very isolating and away from everything which is why I want to live at the heart of a busy street/neighbourhood. I find that it makes more sense to put my money towards rent rather than transport. Ideally I would love to just walk to go to work every morning. I am honestly a drama-free person. I am very compassionate, considerate & clean. I put a lot of effort getting to know other people and I believe I am very easy to get along with. I also speak french if you would like to learn/practice. Please don't hesitate to message me if you believe we could get along, we could talk about teaming up over coffee or something. Hope to hear from you soon!
Hey, I'm Adam. I'm a 26 year old Panelbeater that has just moved to Melbourne from New Zealand. I'm pretty chill especially during the week but still like having a bit of a catch up and a cold beer. I'm tidy and respectful and willing to help out with everything. Looking forward to settling in here, meeting some people and seeing what Melbourne has to offer.
My name is Yosuke, 25 yo originally from Japan. I have arrived in Melbourne a few days ago and plan to stay for a year. I worked in Film and TV production and hoping to do the same here. Especially passionate about everything to do with sound/sound design in film. Other than that, I love watching movies, skateboarding, kite boarding and anything outdoorsy!
Hi Everyone, I’m Ayano I’ve been in Melbourne 2years now. I’m looking for the room near the city atm. Im super tidy and easy going also I like cooking or exercising (riding bicycle, hiking ,gym....) Let me know if you have a nice room and interested about me! Have a nice day~
Hey :) So my name is Niall Cahill, I'm from Dublin Ireland and ill be arriving in Melbourne on the 4th of May. The perfect place for me would be a studio flat. I've lived in about 7 share houses over the last 4 years and I want to live alone now as im sick of messy people. I'm super chilled, 420 friendly, open minded and well travelled. I've been a professional photographer for 7 years, doing portraits, concerts and events. While travelling I work in Civil construction as a skilled labourer. As it stands I'm going to stay in an Airbnb until I have 2-3 weeks of pay behind me before I can afford the bond and rent. I can supply 2 landlord references from Brisbane. If any sound landlords want to let me move in without the bond for a month that would be swell. I also want the Bond through RTA. Feel free to ask me any questions :)
Melbourne amateur- recently moved here from North Queensland. Im a vet working night shifts for a clinic in the Malvern East. Indoor plants!! Love love love going to get good coffee and cafe snacks. Breakfast is my favourite meal of the day. Sucker for live music :) Looking for a house to move into, if not I am looking for people to join me in a share house of my own. I have two gorgeous dogs named Lily and Mila. Both very well-behaved. Mila is a delta therapy dog for children. They are two cuddley dogs that love to go to the beach or dog park or even cafe-ing! Basically they go wherever I am - when I am on nightshift they will be sleeping and when Im home during the day they will be out with me. They are good with cats and other dogs.
