Hi! I have a fully furnished room (QS bed; cupboard; etc) for 1 person that is AVAILABLE from early November for SHORT-TERM (2 to 3 DAYS A WEEK - Fri thru to Mon nights at the mo) on-going. Enquiries welcome anytime. NB: This is a non-smoking house and property. And see vego pref below. The house is fully furnished and well equipped. More furniture CANNOT be brought into the house, or moved around. I am really happy to have SHORT-TERM STAYS i.e. you might be looking for somewhere more suitable that will take your furniture but you need to move out of where you are staying. NB: The $245 rate is for a full week, but the daily/or part week rate is $40 per night. IN~2 pm, OUT~10am. The house is a RENOVATED WEATHERBOARD close to Queanbeyan CBD. There is a lovely garden and back deck. Gas heating and cooking and solar hot water (with booster). Unlimited, well lit, on-street parking is available. Bus transport to Canberra City is a short walk into town (less than 10 mins) and Queanbeyan railway station is a 15 min walk (or 25 mins with a heavy backpack!). If you are into cycling there is a bicycle path into Canberra. Do not hesitate to give me a hoy if you are in any way interested. Any references would be helpful but aren't essential. And I really do not care whether you are a 'professional' or not - used alone, I find the term pretentious :-) I am much happier knowing about your interests :-) rather than how you earn a living (and yes, I know they could be one and the same...). Queanbeyan is a well kept secret and a great place to live - this is from a born and bred Canberran. The house is an easy, short walk to town which has nice pubs and eateries and all the essential shops including a couple of excellent op-shops.

Hello, I work full time in the public service in Woden and am looking for someone who is quiet and respects privacy. My partner who currently lives in Melbourne may visit once or twice a month for a few days (till she eventually finds a job and moves to Canberra at that time I'll be looking for an entire place for us). At this stage I am looking for anywhere between 3-6 months. Thank you.
We're Declan and Craig, 24 and 36, and a couple living and working in Canberra. We both work full-time and are sociable, friendly and reliable. We enjoy hanging out with friends and having a few beers to relaxing, listening to music and watching a film or three. We love going on adventures, visiting new places and camping. We love eating out and cooking as well. Looking to move to inner north or inner south, but pretty flexible in this regard. Looking forward to meeting you!
Full time news camera operator Wont be around often but when I am I should have a few good stories From the sunshine coast and looking for a relatively calm and clean environment close to work
Hi, I'm Andrew. I am currently in Melbourne, but am moving to Canberra for a new job in early November and looking for a room to rent/share with a friendly household, hopefully for up to 6 months. Happy to consider an apartment or a house. My lifestyle is pretty laidback. I appreciate my own space but also enjoy socialising over a drink or a meal. I like to cook, exercise, see the odd film or socialise on weekends.
I'm a full time professional looking for a tidy share with friendly housemate(s), preferably a master/large bedroom. I drive, gym, cook, read, movie nights, socialize etc. I'm considerate to live with and easy going. I have a bed, desk etc to bring, Happy to share a meal and drink or chat.
Hi there! I'm a full time ANU student (studying Arts and International Security), and I work two jobs as a dance teacher and circus coach. I'm friendly (love cooking for people and have a switch with many multiplayer games), but I'm also pretty quiet and neat. I'm often not around, with the two jobs plus uni and life stuff, but when I am I make a point of being as respectful as possible. I come from Byron Bay originally, and I love to write, knit and above all else music. I'm looking for roommates who'll be okay with me being around 3 or 4 nights per week (I'm in a serious long term relationship and we normally do half the week at one place and the other half at the other person's, but this is only overnight from about 5pm through 9am as both of us have places to be during the day), and who are generally clean and respectful with noise levels, etc. :) I look forward to getting to know you.
