I am a registered nurse at Calvary John James, have a busy lifestyle, very clean and tidy. Looking for a one bed flat or granny flat preferably in South Canberra. Don't mind sharing as long as i can have an ensuit or own bathroom.
It is a large house that provides enough room for people to have their own space or to hangout together. It is a great old house with high ceilings and large rooms. All rooms have Built-ins and are very big. Only 1 bathroom but the Toilet is separate. Large outdoor area with garden/veggie patch. Only short drive to Queanbeyan town centre or Karabar shops. 7 minutes to Fyswick and 20 minutes to the city. There is also a Bus stop right out the front of the house.
I'm 23 and just finishing up my degree. Working part time at the moment, and about to start working full-time at the end of the year. I love to travel and am searching for a place to live in August when I get back from a year in America and Europe. In my spare time I love to go out with friends, do brunch, drink wine, play video games, and watch trashy TV. I love animals, especially dogs, and would prefer a pet-friendly house (although I don't have any pets just yet). I am friendly and easygoing, and would love an environment I can relax in but can also have fun with everyone when we feel like it. I'm looking for flatmates to become a little family with seeing as I don't know that many people in Canberra any more. I'd love to either join a current house or start a new house with like-minded people. I'm looking for a preferably mixed-gender house full of people who would be happy to have a chat after work and share some wines over dinner. I also love to bake desserts so would love people who would eat what I bake so I don't end up eating it all myself! Please feel free to send me a message if you'd be interested in living together
Very large attic style bedroom to rent, 6 x 6 meters. This room is partly furnished with queen bed, lounge, TV and fairly new paint and carpet. The house is located 8km from Queanbeyan towards Bungendore. The house is surrounded by 20 acres which creates a sense of country living whilst a short distance from the city. The room is suitable for a single or young couple, you will share with 3 young adults. There are two toilets and a shared bathroom, two large living areas with lots of space, wireless broadband and a pool. Weekly rent $200 for a single person or $250 for a couple (negotiable). 2 weeks bond plus 2 weeks rent in advance. Smoking is permitted outside ONLY. You will be required to contribute to electricity, heating and water bills, all other household items will be your responsibility.
I am moving to Canberra for a role in the public service. I already own enough house essentials (fridge, washing machine, lounge etc) to set up a home, I just need housemate/s to help pay the rent. I am only looking for housemates for a team up so we can rent a house together. I have lived in share houses for the last 15 years. I like a housemate/s who enjoy the community of a house and are willing to share meals and explore Canberra together. I am looking for housemates with secure employment and preferably somewhat near my age. I like board games, computer games, binge watching TV shows (Netflix etc), but also like to ride mountain bikes. I shall be in Canberra from the 10th of July and hope to move into a house in the next 3 weeks. I am happy to talk over email before then, and meet in person once I arrive in Canberra. I don't smoke or do drugs, and am happy to drink on occasions. I identify as LGBTI (m2f transgender). The suburbs I have listed are more of a suggestion, and am willing to consider other suburbs.
I'm a qualified trade Painter, honest, respectful of others space and tidy, easy going. I'm moving to Canberra sometime around September starting a new job. I'll be studying as well so would like a shared household that's friendly & fun, but are not noisy party animals. Yes, I do my own dishes the same night and I won't leave a mess around, will share the house chores. I'm a vegetarian and love animals. I have 2 very loving friendly house trained Staffordshire dogs, although they'll be in Sydney most of the time.
Hi :) im 21 years old working full time as a flight attendant out of canberra. Im looking for a place to live perferalbly close to the airport. Im easy going, quiet, clean and friendly gal. Id like to move in with roomies who arent scared to have a chat and have a wine or two but still respect privacy. Im fairly new to canberra so it would be good to make some mates aswell.
I'm a fully qualified pastry chef who got a certificate and decided to try my hand in marketing 😂 I work long hours, so only really home at night. I can cook 😏 I can clean😏 I can laugh 😂 but I'm not a big party goer... need my 8 hours sleep.
I am a very independent, tidy person. Having lived in shared accommodation before I know how to clean up after myself and will be conscientious and respect the privacy of other room mates. I am a generally quiet person but love to sit down with friends for a chat at the end of the day. I enjoy listening to all kinds of music and reading when I have the chance. I'm a bit of a creative so I'll almost always be drawing or painting something. I work full time in Kingston at Crowe Horwath.
House proud, quiet, easy going and respectful of others privacy and need for peaceful household. Work shift work so either not around in the morning or night and most weekends. All my own furnishing in store interstate and won't be seeking them for a while.
I'm a 26 year old professional female that is looking for a house mate in the Queanbeyan area. I am a very fun and outgoing person. The apartment is modern and the room will include the main bathroom for yourself. Electricity, gas and Internet to be split. Unit is fully furnished except for the spare room.
Hi, I have a fully furnished room (QS bed; cupboard) that will be AVAILABLE FROM 2 July 2017. My lovely housemate's work contract has ended and she is moving back to Maitland! I am away often for extended periods (I am a full-time research student) but I will be around until at least September. My house is a RENOVATED WEATHERBOARD close to Queanbeyan CBD. There is a lovely garden and back deck. Gas heating and cooking and solar hot water (with a manual electric booster) and NBN wireless and 4G. There is off-street parking for one car and on-street parking is time unlimited. There is public transport a short walk to town (less than 10 minutes) and Queanbeyan railway station is a 15 minute walk. And if you work in Canberra city, there is a park-and-ride just across the border in Fyshwick. Or if you are into cycling there is bicycle path into Canberra that swings past the park-and-ride. Because I am away a lot, I am looking for someone who is willing to do the garden while I am not there - THIS IS ESSENTIAL! OR you will need to pay to have someone do it. You must be a clean and tidy person to live with. I prefer a vegetarian household - i.e. I do not eat meat, fish or poultry - but if you do eat meat then you are welcome to cook meat on the gas bbq that is undercover just outside the kitchen door. I do not want more furniture brought into the house - the house is fully furnished and well equipped. Bills would be shared with my share being based on a pro-rata basis for when I am there i.e. if I am away for extended periods and not just a weekend or week on hols. No animals/pets sorry even though I occasionally have my kelpie come and stay. So you will have to like dogs. She is quiet and well trained. Please do not hesitate to give me a hoy if you are in any way interested. Any references would be helpful. If you would like to speak to my former housemate then that too can be arranged. Cheers, Juliana
Hey, My name is Allie and I'm 21 years old. I currently work full time in realestate and also teach dance on the side. On top of this I'm also studying my realestate certificate so I'm relatively busy. I'm a polite, clean and respectful person who is always more than happy to chip in and do my part around the house. I'm after a place where I can feel like I'm at home not like I'm staying in someone else's place and I'm also after roommates who aren't scared to have a chat and hangout but can also respect privacy 😊✌️

Hi My name is Geo and I'm a registered nurse. I accepted a job offer to work in Queanbeyan District Hospital. I'm an outgoing person that likes to socialize with people. Currently I'm back in the Philippines to get overseas work clearance and my working visa. I'm 27 years old and I'm originally from the Philippines. People may describe me as a happy person. I can assure you to respect your privacy and rights if ever we will live together.
Quiet, low maintenance and respect space. We have a cat who is old and will aggressively snore at humans. Just want to work, sleep, eat, pay bills and Netflix till we find our own place as moving to Canberra for work. No dramas thanks.
I'm an easy going guy, here to work full time as a Concrete tester at different construction sites around Canberra. Friendly and polite, Tidy up after myself so I wont leave the place in a mess. From the country and enjoy living a fit and healthy lifestyle. I'm sociable but not to a point that would cause any problems
Considerate, respectful of others and fun - enjoy a wine, a chat, dinner - a bit of everything really :) I work full-time in Civic as well. Importantly, I have an awesome dalmatian - so any place I consider must have secure fencing and easy access to inside/outdoors. Thanks.

Hi, I am an engineer by profession who is moving to Canberra from Dubai. I will be a full time employee with ACT Health and my workplace will be in Symonston therefore looking for an accommodation in a nearby area so I can walk or use Public transport to reach my workplace until I get a Car.
I'm a 23-year-old soon to be public health grad from Melbourne who will be working full-time from March 2018. I'm looking for housemates/share-house close to Forrest so I can cycle/walk/take public transport. You can expect me to keep my area tidy and clean, contribute to my fair share of the housework and pay rent and bills on time. I love going to musicals, concerts, visiting art galleries and planning future holiday trips. I also enjoy visiting the cinema, exploring the bush/going on road trips whenever I can and spending quality time with friends and family. I plan to visit home often on weekends.
Hey there, I am Can Metan. I'll start my PhD in Computer Science very soon and I'm looking for a place to call home. I am a happy, squeaky clean and a trust-worthy guy. I quite enjoy cooking healthy meals and quite sociable in general. While we can share a glass of wine every now and then, I don't drink every week and I certainly don't smoke. I will be working a lot this year (likely to get a job besides PhD) and I would love to have a roomie that can pull his / her own weight. Looking forward to hear from you! PS: I love both dogs and cats (although I'm allergic to cats) and I would strongly prefer a smoke-free house.
My name is Bella, I'm 22 and I currently work full time in a consulting firm in Fyshwick. I love to cook, am clean, and love to socialise, but can understand if people need their own space. I am in need of somewhere new to live in Canberra for me and my fatlord of a cat. I'm trying to see if there were anyone people out there who are happy with living with said fatlord, who would be interested in seeking out a new lease in a pet friendly property. Alternatively, if you have a friendly house with a bedroom than needs filling, please let me know! I'd be happy to live with 1-3 other people, and live anywhere from inner north to weston creek or woden, or queanbeyan. I also have a toilet trained boyfriend who will visit. Hope to hear from you soon!
Hi, my name is Jamie and I've just moved up to Canberra from Victoria to be a public servant and looking for a place to live. I enjoy reading, comedy and improvisation, maths, music, playing/watching sports and generally doing new things. I've lived in 3 share houses before and never had an issue with any of my previous roommates. If you would like to know more about me, get in touch.
Resort style living. The room has a great view overlooking Capital golf course. Very quiet at the rear of the Madison apartments away from street noise. Only minutes from Manuka. Kingston and Griffith shops. The room is large and is a combined bedroom / living area. There are two other living areas in the apartment, two bathrooms, two balconies and an updated Bosch kitchen. The apartment has reverse cycle air conditioning. Within the apartment complex there is a gym, swimming pool, tennis court and BBQ area. A two minute walk to the bus stop where the 4 or 5 bus goes directly to the City or Woden. Five kms from Parliament House and close to Narrabundah college, St Edmund's and St Clare's colleges and Fyshwick markets. A 10 minutes drive to the airport and five minutes to the train station.
I'm sad to say I'll be leaving my beautiful home in Narrabundah as I'm headed for Melbourne for uni, move in dates are negotiable but ASAP is preferred :) A bit about why I love this place so much... Location location location!! Our home is a situated in a beautiful leafy street walking distance to Manuka, Kingston, Kingston foreshore and Griffith. It's a 5 minute walk to the Fyshwick markets for all of your fresh food shopping on the weekend and Narrabundah shops for restaurants, your local grocer, a community garden and a cute little op shop with lots of cute vintage finds too. Civic and Woden are both a 10 min drive. There's an oval a couple of blocks down the street and beautiful walks around the place with forrest-y feels and a creek too! There's much to explore! The house: The house itself is a gorgeous spacious and modern home with old-school charm. We have a big back yard with a BBQ, fire bin and veggie patch. The house has central heating essential for Canberra's winters and summers, the living room is huge with big windows that bring in gorgeous morning sun, the place is fully equipped (the photos are old, we have a TV now!) but there's always room for more stuff and there's extra storage in the garage too. The room: The room is a good size and fits my queen bed, TV, two sets of large drawers and a bedside table with heaps of room to spare for those who want a desk and extra furniture. It has built in wardrobes and a big window that looks onto the garden.
Charming renovated house with backyard, 1 minute walk to Narrabundah shops and bus stop. You'd have a large bedroom with BIR, separate living spaces, fast internet, reverse-cycle air conditioner, carport, patio, garden, and shed for storage. The room is unfurnished and the house is fairly furnished (has room for some extra furniture). Electricity/internet bills are split depending on usage; two week bond and the need to inform the property manager of your details (do not need to go on the lease).
We love to keep our spaces clean and if you choose to team up with us, you will be coming back to a clean and fresh common space everyday. Basic hygiene will be well taken care of. You might even be in for home cooked food (baked, grilled and steamed) and the occasional pan-fried. Socially, we can be both self-contained and sociable, depending on your preference. I am into social sector and will be actively volunteering in Canberra. David has a background in writing, IT and policy and will be reentering the Australia workforce.
Hey! Ill be starting my uni degree in forensic science and justice studies in August. I'm quite, clean and very friendly. I tend to get along with anyone. I keep to myself a lot. Although, I don't mind spending a few nights together or having a chat. I'm young and creative and enjoy just hanging around watching Netflix or doing some baking. Always been a Canberra gal, im not a loud person nor am I a partier. That doesn't stop me from the one off nights where I might wanna go out. I'd be down with hanging around having a few drinks. I have a small inside dog, everyone adores him, his a great dog who gets along with other animals too.
I have been living in canberra for around 6 years now, originally from Brazil and was raised in Ireland. Due to my family unfortunately moving back to Ireland I am looking to move out! I am very easy to get along with! and have always had a thing about tidying up after myself! I am a very clean person :) I am looking for a place with other females!
I'm a 46 year old professional from Sydney and will be joining a company in Braddon on 5/6/2017. I'm planning to stay in Canberra only 4 week nights (from Monday to Thursday) as I will be travelling to back to Sydney for the weekend. Occasionally I might stay for the weekend. Also I'm looking for a furnished room with an ensuite or separate bathroom (not a shared bathroom). Rent per week - $ negotiable depending on the location..
I'm an easy going tradie. Early riser to take my female Husky for morning walks. Outdoorsy kinda guy with a 4x4 Ute and a dirt bike. I can cook alright, keep to myself mostly, but like a good social drink and or a chat. Keep a clean room, but can put up with a bit for clutter. Love to try learn new things, and will also be getting back in to the gym once settled. Looking for a place for a minimum of 6 months for my pup and I.
