Professional, from Melbourne moving to Canberra for a position within the APS. Will be heading back to Victoria every other weekend where my family is based. Enjoy coffee, beer, cycling and swimming. I consider myself to be neat and tidy and respectful of others privacy. Looking to secure a place with either male or female housemates somewhere central.
I’m a friendly, fun and mature person who’s clean and tidy and always up for a natter as well as respecting everyone’s privacy in times of need. I can play a few musical instruments and like my chill out time. I’m always on top of the housework and don’t mind getting stuck in when required. I’m originally from Manchester, England but have lived in Australia for 10 years now. I like to socialise and meet new people and have a few drinks and a laugh, nothing overboard. Would love to meet some likeminded people to philosophise with and chew the fat.
Hey my names Mitch I’m 25, single, bubbly outgoing personality I like to socialise but also love having my own space at times. I enjoy having a drink and socialising after work if I’m not exhausted. I’m a panel beater by trade but doing something else for work ( full time work ) . If I’m not working I like fishing, camping, 4x4, traveling, being with my dog, working on / fixing cars, I like to build things as I’m pretty hands on / creative and putting my feet up and relaxing. If you would like to know anything feel free to ask, happy to answer. P.s no specific move date, could be flexible

Hi there! I'm moving to Canberra from Melbourne and am looking for a room for around 3-6 months, preferably beginning within the next 2 - 6 weeks, and in the $100-150 range. Pretty flexible with location (north, south, etc) and not fussed if furnished or unfurnished. Am a tidy, clean person, good with animals and generally quiet but more than happy to chill out with housemates :) Willing to split bills and obviously do my share of housework. I enjoy gaming or heading out for coffee/movies/casual drinks in my free time. Let me know if you're interested!
Hi! I have recently moved up here for work. As I work full time down in Tuggeranong, I am looking to share a house on the south side, however, depending on the house/price etc, I could live anywhere that's close to transport. I have a car as well so some form of parking is a must. I have all the usual qualities you would expect from a flatmate - reliable w/ rent and bills, clean, respectful, sociable. I play music (piano and a bit of drums) but keep the noise between business hours ;) I am looking to pay a max of approx. $220 per week, but can be flexible. Please get in touch if you have any questions or offers. Looking to move by mid April at the latest! Ta Owen

Been in canberra all my life. Tidy, friendly, respectful, funny, social, easy going and mostly keep to myself. Willing to pitch in wherever needed. I love music, gaming, pets and just having a laugh.
Hey all, I'm pretty much a "what you see is what you get" kinda guy, polite and friendly by nature, I'm also clean tidy and respectful. I love travelling and the outdoors, meeting new people and having great conversations. Having said that, I also understand and respect the need for privacy and expect the same of others. I've moved to Canberra for a career change and now that I'm settled in my new role I'm looking for a nice and convenient place to live. I'm a Frenchman in my early 30s and have been in Australia for about 6 years now, but in Canberra just a few months. In my spare time I like reading, exercising, watching Netflix or playing video games, listening to music or just generally socializing with friends and meeting new people. I also love skiing and the mountains (especially in Europe and Japan), I speak fluent French and English and a little bit of Spanish (and a few words in Japanese) and I'm always up for practicing. That's really all I care to say as I'm that type of person you'll "get" by meeting in person rather than just reading about me preaching about myself. Happy to answer any questions though. All the best! Nic
I’m a single mum friendly, clean, tidy, well behaved , hard working, collaborative and know how to use common sense. I have an adorable 2yo daughter so well behaved ( she’s a bless). We moved to Canberra from Brisbane cause I got a job in the Venezuelan embassy. I don’t know many people here so that’s is part of the reason why I’m looking for a share home preferably with another girl.
Working as a hairdresser full time. Love meeting people and hanging out but know about that personal space lovin. Looking to be in a pretty chilled out environment. Honestly I can move in right now. Sooner the better as my lease has pretty much ended and I'm about to declare myself as homeless 😇
Hi, I’m a student from Malaysia looking for a place to stay in Canberra for one month. I’m tidy and easy-going and I also respect your personal space. I go to the gym but also enjoy reading at home or chilling with friends over a cup of coffee or beer.
I always find it hard to talk about myself because I am just me... but here goes. I consider myself easy going with a good sense of humour. I am quiet but also sociable. A non smoker and a social drinker. Work for Anglicare in Fyshwick. Moved down to Canberra in January to help out family down here. I have four kids back in Brisbane whom I visit every 6 to 8 weeks (fly up for a weekend). I am a very tidy and clean person, after cooking I clean up straight away. More than happy to do my share the household chores.
Hey just moved to canberra pretty chilled guy, considerate, clean, cooks, happy to share milk and eggs sorta person, i also have a full house worth of furniture and white goods and a small 1yo beagle who is no drama at all and has grown up around cats and gets along with other animals.
Hi, I have a fully furnished room (QS bed; cupboard) for one person that is AVAILABLE from 31 MARCH. The maximum people in the house will be two i.e. me and you - there are only two bedrooms. No couples please as it is too 'squeezy'. I do not want more furniture brought into the house - the house is fully furnished and well equipped. Because of this I am happy to have short-term shares i.e. you might be looking for somewhere more suitable that will take your furniture but you need to move out of where you are staying. For less than 4 weeks add another $10 a week to the weekly rent. More than 4 weeks we then work out the shared gas, electricity and water bills. The house is a RENOVATED WEATHERBOARD close to Queanbeyan CBD. There is a lovely garden and back deck. Gas heating and cooking and solar hot water (with a manual electric booster) and NBN limited wireless and 4G. There is off-street parking for two smaller cars and on-street parking is time unlimited. There is public transport a short walk to town (less than 10 minutes) and Queanbeyan railway station is a 15 minute (or 25 minutes with a heavy backpack!) walk. And if you work in Canberra city, there is a park-and-ride just across the border in Fyshwick. Or if you are into cycling there is bicycle path into Canberra that swings past the park-and-ride. You've got to be willing to do your bit in the garden - THIS IS ESSENTIAL! OR you will need to pay to have someone do your bit. Garden tasks are mostly sweeping the paths, deck, driveway and raking eucalyptus bark and leaves (once a week) and occasional mowing and cutting back hideously invasive ivy. Between two it is less than onerous. You must be a clean and tidy person to live with and actually know how to clean (you'd be suprised...!). I prefer a vegetarian household - i.e. I do not eat meat, fish or poultry - but if you do eat meat then you are welcome to cook meat on the gas bbq that is undercover just outside the kitchen door. No animals/pets sorry even though I occasionally have my kelpie come and stay. So you will have to like dogs. She is quiet and well trained. Please do not hesitate to give me a hoy if you are in any way interested. Any references would be helpful. And I really do not care whether you are a 'professional' or not - used alone, I find the term pretentious :-) I am much happier knowing about your interests :-) rather than how you earn a living (and yes, I know they could be one and the same...). I play indoor soccer, run and cycle (as a transport option rather than for fun) and like to keep fit. If you want to know more about why I have a pic of a juvenile Thorny Devil on my middle finger then see my research topic at my uni open access web link at the Fenner School of Environment and Society by doing a Google search. Cheers, Juliana
