I am currently working full time, do not drink smoke or take drugs, quiet and keep to myself. Have a small dog who is very well looked after and groomed. I spend most of my time exploring my surrounding areas or playing games on my computer.
we are a young professional couple, who are quiet, clean and like to keep to ourselves, but aren't against a few games nights or a casual conversation, we both have full time apprenticeships/traineeships and Emily has a casual weekend job as well. We have a small well mannered dog named Max, he is a whippet x staffy (probably 80% more whippet), who doesn't bark, unless provoked and is well trained. Location isn't an issue as we both drive and don't mind the distance, we plan on sharing housing until we can find a place for ourselves, number of roommates doesn't matter either does gender but we would prefer non smokers if at all possible.
Hi! We are looking a place to move together. Nice, quiet and tidy.. Usually we are not at home, working all day and the days off going around! I'm agronomist from Argentina working in a Winery and Hayden is from New Zealand. Thanks
Hey all, I'm pretty much a "what you see is what you get" kinda guy, polite and friendly by nature, I'm also clean tidy and respectful. I love travelling and the outdoors, meeting new people and having great conversations. Having said that, I also understand and respect the need for privacy and expect the same of others. I've moved to Canberra for a career change and now that I'm settled in my new role I'm looking for a nice and convenient place to live. I'm a Frenchman in my early 30s and have been in Australia for about 6 years now, but in Canberra just a few months. In my spare time I like reading, exercising, watching Netflix or playing video games, listening to music or just generally socializing with friends and meeting new people. I also love skiing and the mountains (especially in Europe and Japan), I speak fluent French and English and a little bit of Spanish (and a few words in Japanese) and I'm always up for practicing. That's really all I care to say as I'm that type of person you'll "get" by meeting in person rather than just reading about me preaching about myself. Happy to answer any questions though. All the best! Nic
Hi! I am looking to move out of my parents place again. Moved back to Canberra after being in Melbourne for 3 years. I work full time at a law firm and study law at UC part time. When i am home i am studying or cooking. I am looking all over Canberra, i work in the City and Uni is in Belco, but i am living in Jerrabomberra currently. I have a cat (2 years old, lovely, big boy) and also a dog (mini fox terrier, 1 year old, full of energy). Cat is indoors at night, on my bed or the couch and outdoors during the day. Dog is the same, back yard preferably so she can play during the day. i then take her for walks every night and on the weekends. She is trained and doesn't make a mess. Just wants cuddles and to pay tug of war! Looking for a 2-3 bedroom house with ultimately my own bathroom. A house mate that is clean and tidy and doesn't mind if i have my boyfriend over a few nights a week. I am an Australian girl, 23, a hard working professional and will keep the house tidy. I am not a vegetarian but not opposed to someone that is. I am LGBT friendly. Don't mind if you smoke outside. Let me know if you have any questions!
I’m relocating back to Canberra to be closer to my 4 year old daughter who means the world to me I’m a commercial plumber and have been a plumber for over 10 years . I work to a reputable commercial plumbing company in Canberra I work full time and my hours vary . When I’m not at work I’m usually in the gym or spending time with my daughter . I’m clean quiet and respectful. Happy to help around the house when required As stated I do have a 4 year old daughter and I have her weekends she usually stays over for one night . I need to find someone who likes children and is flexible with me having her over on weekends In saying that she will be only sleeping there majority of the time as we will be out all day doing activities together . If you want to know anything more about my situation don’t hesitate to ask I have full references both rental and work
We would like to rent a private room ensuite unfurnished for 12 months starting between 31/08/18 and 10/09/18. About us: Paulo (39, public servant, loves soccer) Fernanda (38, student, between jobs, loves movies and tv series) Married for 11 years, no kids, no smokers, no pets. We are very tidy and clean, and we have inspection reports proving it.
Hi, I will have a fully furnished room (QS bed; cupboard; etc) for one person that is AVAILABLE from 25 AUGUST...or sooner. Because I have short-term open-ended stays, sometimes the room becomes available before the listed available date. More furniture can't be brought into the house - the house is fully furnished and well equipped. I am really happy to have short-term shares i.e. you might be looking for somewhere more suitable that will take your furniture but you need to move out of where you are staying. For short-term stays add another $15 a week to the weekly rent. For longer stays, we may have to work out the shared gas, electricity and water bills or just increase the weekly amount. The house is a RENOVATED WEATHERBOARD close to Queanbeyan CBD. There is a lovely garden and back deck. Gas heating and cooking and solar hot water (with a manual electric booster) and NBN limited wireless and 4G. There is on-street parking which is well lit and is time unlimited. There is public transport a short walk to town (less than 10 minutes) and Queanbeyan railway station is a 15 minute (or 25 minutes with a heavy backpack!) walk. And if you work in Canberra city, there is a park-and-ride just across the border in Fyshwick. Or if you are into cycling there is bicycle path into Canberra that swings past the park-and-ride. If you are staying longer than a few weeks, you've got to be willing to do your bit in the garden - THIS IS ESSENTIAL! OR you will need to pay to have someone do your bit. However, it should never get to that because between two it is less than onerous. Garden tasks are mostly sweeping the paths, deck, driveway and raking eucalyptus bark and leaves (once every few weeks) and occasional mowing and cutting back hideously invasive ivy. Do not hesitate to give me a hoy if you are in any way interested. Any references would be helpful but aren't essential. And I really do not care whether you are a 'professional' or not - used alone, I find the term pretentious :-) I am much happier knowing about your interests :-) rather than how you earn a living (and yes, I know they could be one and the same...). Queanbeyan is a well kept secret and a great place to live - this is from a born and bred Canberran. The house is a safe, short walk to town which has nice pubs and eateries and all the essential shops including a couple of excellent op-shops.
Looking for a flat/house or room in an existing share place in the Queanbeyan area for myself and my little ten year old dog Billy. Preferably with a yard or courtyard and/or patio, within walking/easy cycling distance to the Queanbeyan CBD, or on a bus route. I am the event manager for a large annual Sydney based Festival (I work remotely from home, so Billy is rarely left alone). I am friendly, sociable and like a chat, but also like my quiet time. Qualities in a flatmate: Easy going, no dramas, not an 'at home partier', clean and tidy.
I am from Cowra NSW. I am a Plant Operator working on Ellerton Drive Project in Queanbeyan. I'm easy to get a long with can cook and I don't party much i clean up after myslfe.weekends in Summer is spent on Wyangala Dam with our boat with my family and friends
The townhouse is located approx. 2-minute drive and a 10-minute walk from the shops. It is a part of a brand-new complex and is currently fully furnished (except the available room). This small-scale townhouse has ducted air-conditioning and heating, and street parking is available. We are currently awaiting NBN connection (installation of the box, though a service provider already established with Telstra). The room itself is unfurnished and would easily fit a queen bed, it also has a built-in wardrobe. It will be a shared bathroom and toilet. Rent is $180/wk., excluding bills. If you are interested in an inspection please message me, as we can arrange a time (afternoons or weekends preferable). Unfortunately no pets allowed.
Hi all I work full time as chippy/plaster. I do work long hours and most weekends but I do like to make new friends. I also do like to mingle with new people and get to know them. About once a month I like to have friends over and put on a bbq and have some drinks you’re more then welcome to bring you’re friends along. Also like to have family over once every two/three weeks. I’m clean and tidy I pull my weight around the place. I’m also like a ghost at times when I like to be by myself. I do also like to have my two very cute little nieces stay every now and then. If I’m aloud to and is accepted by the household.
