Hey, I’m Jett (she/her) My landlord will not be renewing the lease at this Indooroopilly property after 17/11/2025 (November), so I’m looking for a place as early as 15/10 My budget is $300 per week for rent. I have stable income as a pensioner and I’m good at budgeting. Athena and I come as a package deal. She is an old girl, and she’s the sweetest cat. Would need to have flyscreens on doors/windows in home due to inside cat. Looking in Brisbane for a preferably unfurnished room with enough space for a Queen bed, my desk and a wardrobe (inbuilt robe would work). Hoping to share with fellow Femmes, NB’s, GQ’s etc or live by myself. Somewhere with a lease I can sign on to… Things I can provide in shared spaces if they fit: - A nice, big Kelvinator fridge - A great 10kg front loader washing machine - Lovely wooden TV unit - Antique square coffee table - Dell 1080p Projector - Outdoor table with 6 chairs (it’s a set) - Wooden cupboard with 4 shelves and mirror on front - Electric recliner - Normal recliner I don’t need to take all that stuff with me though. I grew up in a kiwi household so my mother raised me all to well to respect other peoples property to the fullest extent. I do drink for an occasion or if you ask me to have a beer with you I will never say no. Although I’m not the type of guy to come home from work and crack a beer. I prefer a good coffee. I’m your typical bloke I do enjoy a decent gaming session but nothing of a serious level. Just playing with friends 👌 I am a very clean person and respect others personal space and beliefs. In saying that, I’m also the type that isn’t afraid to create a friendship out of being housemates to create an even more comfortable environment for all in the property. Forgive me if I don’t give off a very open kind of vibe at the beginning. This is my first time looking for a place with a house mate I’ve always been in my own place or with family. Looking to find a 2-3 bedroom home for at least 6 months minimum, anywhere around heathwood / pallara / doolandella and forest lake surroundings our maximum affordability would be $600 a week. Applicants: Residing in the property would be Myself Faith, and my son Vincent who has just turned 2 and our cat kyba who sleeps majority of the time or lazes outside in grass. About us : We strive always to keep our home clean and take pride in it, making it a welcoming and comfortable family space. We love gardening and growing veggies! Faith: I love gardening with my entire heart, reading books, baking and spending time with family. I am currently in between studying community service and mental health to work as a support worker, as I’ve just had a child and am focusing on being a mum right now. Vincent: Your typical 2 year old loves getting out in the garden and going for walks along with dancing, oh and snacks! haha We are hoping for 3 bedrooms hopefully , so we can have a spare room but 2 bedrooms will also do depending if there’s a lounge area :). We are searching around the pallara area and close by as this is where we currently live, forest lake doolandella, heathwood and close surroundings are also in the looks. but happy to look at further surrounding areas if you have a home available for rent!! As I have to move within 2 months due to owners moving back in, ive resided in this home since before my son was born, so hoping to find somewhere stable and hopefully long term after first lease.
