Hey there, I am an outgoing, yet respectful mid 20's gal! After working in the Canberra public service for three years, I've decided to have a quarter life century crisis and move to Melbourne to undertake postgrad study in Journalism. I lived in a large share house for 18 months and previously house sat many places so am experienced in (and really enjoy) living with other, similar minded people. Am looking to find a home in a new or established share house. I love a good glass of wine, great food and a chat about life/the universe/anything. Hoping to find somewhere by mid February at the latest. As I will be studying, ideally my room will have space for a desk. A car space is also preferable. I can contribute some furniture/appliances (or not) depending on what is needed. Look forward to chatting with you! Cheers
My Name is Kelly, 21 years old, Female. Moving from Perth to Melbourne, I'm very easy going, chilled out and respectful. I leased two properties in Perth so I have grasped how to handle my own property which means it would be very simple for me to move into your place and respect all wishes and pay bills on time. I love hanging out and am very excited to meet new people and live in a awesome City but I also love me time. I have a beautiful black cat who I have looked after since he was a baby and he loves affection but also like me, is very adventurous and likes to be alone. I'm a honest and responsible person whilst saying this I love to have fun, go out, socialize, shopping, cooking and I am very excited to find new hobbies in a beautiful City.

Hi I'm Rikki, a 31 yo nurse living in Richmond for the past 3 years and would love to stay in the area. I work for a nursing agency so technically am casually employed but pretty much work full time hours. I have been doing this for around 5 years and have never had any problems affording rent etc. This also means I am a shift worker but am usually spoilt for choice with shift so don't work night shift (unless I'm desperate) and do minimal weekends. Speaking of weekends you will usually find me at one of Richmonds many drinking/dining establishments but I also love a quiet drink at home, especially if the suns out. Being from Melbourne I'm naturally a sports lover, AFL and NRL in particular although I'm still yet to find my love of cricket... I guess I'll have to keep working on that one. As previously mentioned I have lived in Richmond for the past 3 years with a flat mate and have also lived in many share houses so am very respectful of others privacy, belongings and need for sleep. I am hoping to find someone to begin a new lease with and I come with a decent amount of furniture which we could utilize if needed.
19 year old, first time looking for a room. I generally work late nights. I'm a friendly and sociable person, who also enjoys some quiet time. Looking for a room, for an unknown amount of time at this stage Happy to answer any questions.
We are looking for a 25 to 35 year old (preferably female to keep a good balance!) to fill a free room in our house share. This large spacious house will be shared with 5 others. It is a huge 5 bed house with 2 bathrooms. This house is in a great location in the heart of Richmond with a big kitchen and separate living room. Everything is included in the rent of $225p/w. All reasonable Gas, electric, water and unlimited wi-fi are all included. As is all the furniture, huge flatscreen TV, bbq, appliances, washing machine, pots, pans and cutlery. Furniture for the actual bedroom is all that is required and we've a few spare bits to get you up and running - a mattress and drawers.
Hi, I am easy-going, cheerful and well organized person. I'm a new graduate vet from Poland and currently I work in veterinary clinic in Lilydale. As I am at the beginning of my carieer I'm very focused on my work and I like studying, which makes me quiet and calm flatmate during the week days. At the weekends I like to chill out and meet my friends so I'm out pretty often. I do not accept mess and I take care of the place where I live ;) I’m yoga fan, vegetarian food and healthy lifestyle enthusiast as well as an animal lover working occasionally as a pet sitter :) :)
Available from this sunday (19th Nov) but can facilitate a move in date over the next few weeks (ideally we want to find someone by early December at the latest). Great location in Richmond near the corner of Coppin and Bridge road. Public transport options. The room is not furnished but is big enough to fit a queen size bed, big desk, wardrobe and other storage stuff. The room is not furnished but does come with a wardrobe . The communal areas are mostly furnished but we can always try and fit stuff in.
Hi other Flatmates users! I am interested in starting a team up between myself and a few other nice, outgoing females (aged 18-26) to look into getting our own (relatively cheap) place together and to set it up the way we would like to! I will be moving from Wagga Wagga, NSW to Melbourne around that start of January next year to study a Bachelor of Fashion Design! I’ve had a few offers just figuring out where I would like to study. Looking for some girls who are like minded, either studying or working (or both!) to move in with around that time. I am extremely keen on setting up our own place and making it ours rather than going into someone else’s home, who I wouldn’t know and to feel uncomfortable living under their roof and using their things. I have already got a fridge, washing machine, outdoor setting, kitchen utensils and some appliances and cookware. A little bit more about me... I am an 18 (nearly 19) yr old girl who loves to chill, do regular exercise, I cook and clean around the house all the time and like to socialise with friends as well as get a bit arty and do some painting in the evenings and on weekends too. I also am working flat out full time atm trying to save as much money as I can right now to move and to be able to set myself up in a place I can call my home! Please let me know if you’re interested. I would love to have a chat and see where things could go! Thank you :)))
We are both very social, talkative and friendly. Elliot is a musician and very outgoing whereas I, Grace, like to cook and keep things tidy. We are both vegan and are staying in Melbourne for 12 months. Elliot will be starting a Sales job in the upcoming weeks and I am looking for Admin work. We are from London, England and hope to find somewhere more permanent to stay. We are also happy to share a double room.
Hey guys, my name is Helder. Im from Toronto, Canada. Living in Melbourne for the next 6 months. Back home Im a photographer. Im very clean & organized, I live a very active lifestyle. Im also very easy going, looking to meet new people, experience this new city & make some great memories. Cheers!
Hello all, A 21 years old Aussie looking for some awesome people who would like to team up and find a place, I'm looking to rent hopefully a house in the St Kilda/Prahran area that has 3-4 bedrooms! Feel free to reach out and send a message if I haven't beaten you to it. I would love to find a place by the end of November or asap! I am currently residing in St Kilda East but looking for a clean and slightly quieter place to transition to. I'm looking for a place that is relatively relaxed on weeknights but totally happy for some rowdiness on the weekends. I'm your gal for a weekend coffee and brunch or late night snack, I'm down for in-house family fun nights, movie night, game nights, party nights as long as everyone is on board. I'm in search for a comfortable place where people communicate and live as a little family home rather than just a house. Looking for a place where I can relate to housemates, have a chat and call a place a home for a while. I love animals so bonus if you have or allow animals, if not that's cool too because I don't own any and do spend some time volunteering with animals to fill that empty void. I currently work full-time hours in Prahran and study Vet Nursing part-time online mostly. I am still relatively new to Melbourne and love adventuring out seeing all the city has to offer. As summer is rolling around, it would be fab to find some housemates that enjoy getting outdoors in the sun and water. Please feel free to hit me up if you have a young 20's - 30's household in need of a clean, respectful, easy-going, fun, young, independent lass. Stay Fabulous, Alesia Paige
Hi there, I'm a 23yo male working as a salesperson with steady income. I'm good with money and never short on payments. I'm a clean and tidy guy who enjoys a clean house to come home to. I've lived in share house for 2 years now. In my spare time I'll be out at the gym keeping fit, seeing friends and getting out to see a gig or some sport. And if the suns out I'll most likely be at the beach. I enjoy relaxing to a good movie, or a couple beers with my housemates but I understand personal space and will definitely give that, however won't be the one who sits in his room all day. If your interested I would like to meet up have a chat a go from there. Any questions please feel free to contact me.
Hi, I'm Jae! I'm clean, respectful of space and cook enough for a small country most nights. I spend most of my time laughing at my own jokes, but I work in the creative/fashion industry- a lot of the time from my laptop in bed or in the park. I'm also a yoga instructor who loves Xbox, the beach, going for hikes, beer and action films. I come with an extremely house trained dog, Barney, who loves a cuddle and won't need anything but a good scratch from you every now and then! He goes everywhere with me and doesn't shed or bark.
Very easy going & looking for a chill home environment. Working professional, do like quiet times but also like to socialise and looking for a place to call home. Tidy and responsible as I've housesat for many years caring for peoples homes and pets. Originally from Brisbane, now call Melbourne home
Hi everyone, I’m moving to Melbourne as I’ve gotten a new job and need to find a chill share house to (obviously) share. I’m looking to make the journey mid-November (but can negotiate timing if needed). I’m a late 20s professional. I’ve been told by people that I’m awesome to live with, for example just ask my mum—we were housemates for a good two decades. Unfortunately, I don’t have a rental history, as I’ve been living in a house I own, so I won’t be able to provide rental history references. But on the plus side, I share common qualities of being a slave, but to a bank, as opposed to a landlord/real estate agent. I don’t want to be super close to the city, as I’m an avid cyclist and need to maintain my reputable Strava statistics. Hence, 5-12kms would be ideal from the CBD. I am an energy trader, which means I will occasionally work nights when I'm on the afternoon/night roster (it's a 24/7 market). I’m flexible when it comes to the place, as long as the room is comfortable and housemates aren't hermits. I am also a pretty outgoing/outdoors person (soccer, tennis, cycling, hiking, kayaking, slacklining), of which I suck at all, except cycling. But I do own a kayak, edit: no longer driving it down from Brisbane :(l So to recap TL;DR - Looking for a house - House 5-10kms from city - Bonus points for bathroom/carpark - Solid guy/housemate For those still reading, shoot me a message (please note, I can be pretty flaky responding, but I will respond eventually).
Hi I have a medium size fully furnished room to offer from 16th December 2017. I am looking for someone who can take the room for long term. The house is located in richmond, off bridge road, 10 min to the CBD by tram. There are two train stations (Richmond, Burnley) close to the house too. heaps of restaurants and cafes around. theres two supermarkets close to the house too. very convinient location, especially if you are working in CBD. rent is $900 per month, bond is $900 too. exclude bills. no pets allowed. please let me know if you are interested. we can organize inspection. Kota
I'm a super fun and easy-to-get-along-with type of person. Very chill. I'm tidy, clean up after myself and have a beautiful 2y.o cat MC who brings so much love and joy to anywhere, where we live. I work full time and am about to relocate to Melbourne to start my nursing career. I enjoy spending time by myself and with friends. In my spare time I enjoy reading, doing puzzles, going out to gigs, seeing my friends etc. and all of the finer things in life (chocolate, wine, pizza haha)! If I sound like someone you could get along with, holla!
Moving back to Melbourne after 2 years in Sydney to take up a new full time role in the medical education field. I am a social person and love to head out for a beer at the local pub, or for lunch/dinner anywhere new. Love meeting new people, can be quiet at first but warm up to people pretty fast. Looking for housemates that are inclusive and like to do things together like chat while cooking meals during the week, perhaps hit up a pub trivia session every once in a while or have an afternoon of beer drinking on the weekend. I'm not new to Melbourne have lived there many times and in a variety of suburbs. Have lived in many share houses throughout my life in my home town; Warrnambool, Melbourne, London and Sydney. I know how to treat a house and my flatmates with respect and hope to find others who are the same. I have a 2 gorgeous 12 month old black cats named shadow and lunar they are both pretty smoochy and is toilet trained and will be more of an indoor cat.
