I’m currently in Brisbane but moving to Melbourne soon for work. I’m turning 23 in a few weeks, wine and cheese is life, love cooking and shopping and Netflix and of course BRUNCH. In regards to being active – I play a bit of tennis and am a Pilates enthusiast. I’ll be working full-time so quite weeknights are good and on the weekend I’ll be looking to explore everything Melb has to offer. I’m clean and tidy and reliable you’ll just have to deal with me complaining about the cold until I acclimatise.
From Brisbane moved here 3 months ago, working full time in the city as a chef. At home I'm neat and able to clean up after myself and do common shared house chores, friendly and happy to socialise with people I'm living with as well as giving each other personal space. Being new to Melbourne i like to see what it has to offer on my days off. Let me know if you want a reference from previous roommates /landlords.
Hi! Everyone, I am currently living in east gippsland and wanting to move back to Melbourne ASAP! Looking for a place to call home for at least the next 6 months if not longer. I have just been accepted to study at Swinburne starting on the 31st of July. I love make up and having a few drinks and good night out, I am a very relaxed tidy person who is social (but needs to make new friends) but also loves some down time relaxing or watching a movie. I have been bartending the last few years and making coffee. I already have a Saturday night job in Melbourne lined up but I'm still looking for some work during the week when I'm not studying but that hopefully should be sorted in the next week. Would love to come and have a look at your room and have a chat asap! I look forward to hearing from you soon. Thanks Tegan 😊
American in Melbourne until at least November, I work as a restaurant manager out in Richmond. Looking for a few clean young like minded housemates. I like beer gardens and brunch foods!
Super clean. Fluent English. Punctual with deadlines. Good cook. Rock climbs, runs, and wants to learn to surf. Canadian.
Hello people of the internet! What I'm looking for in a place: - Close to public transport - Friendly/social vibes - A room that will fit a double bed, drawers, and a desk Boring stuff about me: - I'm 22 (would love to live with people around my age) - Work 2 part time jobs - between both my hours tend to be full time - Currently deciding whether to pursue postgrad study or to work full time (decisions are hard) - Always pay rent and bills on time - Good communicator - Consistent cleaner and tidier - Committed to staying long term in the right place - Not a ghost - i.e. you will see me in and around the house often - Love animals so if you have a pet it's a bonus for me! (Hopefully) Less boring stuff about me: - Will be there for you to edit your essay/love letter - Will share hilarious memes with you whether you like it or not - Will make sure you are consulted when ordering uber eats - Can contribute x2 house plants - Will never judge you when you make bad choices (e.g. watching house hunters all day) Would love to hear from you if you think we'd get along :)
I am an energetic fun loving person that likes to go out and have fun but also likes to chill out and relax. I am very respectful of others and am also very clean and tidy. I am hoping to make friends with the people I live with and to have a laugh with them!! I have been in Australia for 6 months now so I am pretty settled. Living and working now instead of travelling. I haven't really explored Melbourne yet so would be nice to live with people that are up for exploring on the weekends!
My name is Lulu, I'm an interior stylist + photographer. I'm clean, and tidy I love going to the galleries, theatre and shopping. I love to go for coffee or wine and have been known to assemble a great cheese board. I run a freelance photography business on the side. Looking for someone who is clean and likes their own space but happy to share a meal or hang out occasionally Lulu
Hey there! I'm Natalie and I'm nearly 20! I am currently moving from Brisbane down to Melbourne and would love to find a fun and energetic household to move in to. I love dogs, sleep and food. I also occasionally enjoy a great night out with a few drinks. I also currently work in Real Estate and once I have settled in down South, I'll be looking at transferring my qualifications to VIC.
LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!!!!!! This place is located centrally in Richmond and is always known to be one of the most convenient places to live closer to the city. There are couple of train stations and trams in and around this area. Which means it would take you just 6 mins by train into the city and 15 mins by tram. It is safe and the our street is quite wide as compared to other areas. Very close to Victoria Gardens Shopping Center, couple of Safeway, Coles, famous Cafes, Restaurants on Victoria Street and on Bridge road. Our Neighbours are extremely friendly and cooperative. It is so convenient that you wouldn't want to live anywhere after you have lived in this area. You room with a built in wardrobe is a medium size room with lot of natural light. Flexible with furnishing with a common Lounge area, Kitchen and toilet/ bathroom to share with me.
I'm a relaxed and clean girl who is very quiet and respectful. I work full time as an analytics consultant in Southbank. Working hour is normally 9 - 6, but often we have to stay late when required. Outside work, I go to the gym, hang out with my mates on the weekend (brunch, board game, escape room, badminton, movies etc.). I enjoy my own time, love sleeping in, watch movies/TV shows, cooking (making biscuits, dumplings). But I'm also keen for a chat or dinner together when we are both at home. Move in date must be before 17 August. I should be able to stay for at least 1 year. Furniture is flexible. Budget is $300 within free tram zone but $250 outside the free tram zone. I don't have a car with me so being close to public transport and groceries is important. I have a lovely 1year-old indoor cat that I want to bring with me if possible. She uses the litter box regularly and very human-friendly. She can pretty much look after herslef. If you have a place available, please feel free to message me. Look forward to hearing from you!
Hello people I am looking for a place to leave in Melbourne, I lived in Melbourne for 8 years. Now I am PhD student from overseas (middle east), I am fully fund by my government for my study and salary I am social with other culture I like sport, also, I like cooking
The apartment is in a nice building and has a great view towards the city (with balcony as well!). Only 2 minutes walk from Bridge Road and the 48/75 trams and 8 minutes walk from Victoria Gardens shopping centre, Victoria Street and the 12/109 trams. The living area has air-conditioning and all common areas are fully-furnished (including a BBQ on the deck). The kitchen is well-equiped for any budding chefs out there! The room that's available is medium sized (fits a Queen bed with side tables) and has built-ins with mirrored doors. The main bathroom would be yours to use, although it does contain the laundry as well. Bills would be split evenly on a per-person basis and include gas, electricity, water, unlimited internet and foxtel. No off-street parking, although there is often parking available on the surrounding streets. Is available to view and move in immediately.
I'm easy going and can talk about anything. I don't take myself too seriously though value doing a good job of things and being reasonable and respectful. I'm clean and tidy and don't leave a foot print (so to speak). I'm most often away with work and at the gym and attending other social events. I'm very independent and also mindful of other people's space. I also have a robust sense of humour which can be important for creating good vibes :) BTW I'm also quite flexible with the move date (any weekend or week day until 5/8) and length of stay. I can potentially stay much longer than 6 months - just thought that might be a good length of time to start on. I'm also very pet friendly in case you have pets.
What's up People I'm Marco, I'm looking for a shared house and nice people to live with. About me I can tell you that I love to cook a lot and ride my bike everywhere, listen to music and play it, one passion I have is to talk about physics/universe and psicology/spirituality aaaand I work in the hospitality industry, obviously I sound like a very normal person...but I'm not hahaha!! I love to travel and I can offer free language lessons in Italian, Spanish and a little bit of Portuguese and French. I play the drum but don't worry never too late or too early and I play it good ;) I'm very respectful of housemates spaces and I'm clean, I've got a lot of experience sharing houses around the world. I'm very keen as well to team up with anybody, hopefully before the 2nd of August, which is when I'll leave the house where I'm living now.
Me: 23 year old, Office Manager at a development company, also studying Interior Design. I guess I'm a creative type that likes numbers. I like to stay fit, meet new people, shop, eat and drink wine. Originally from country Victoria, Ballarat/Hamilton. Ma & Pa live on a farm in between the two towns. I've been to boarding school so I'm pretty accepting and chilled. And yes I am one of those girls that goes to parties and hangs out with the dog..... I could ramble on for pages about how great I am, or we could go grab a coffee and chat!
Looking for a new place to stay during my exchange, starting around mid-august! About me: Small town French Canadian early retired sexologist 28-year-old gay law student based in Montreal. I’m responsible, organized, and respectful of people’s space. Having been a counselor for a while, I don’t shy away from real talks and good connections. I also like to go out and dance from time to time. Oh, and I like biking and volleyball. Kind of household: I am quite sociable and I hope to spend some time with my new roommates. However, I kinda like/need my sleep and privacy, so I don’t think a busy or party house would be the best fit. Animals = sure. People around my age = yas. Quick witted spirits = damn right. Gardening extraordinaires = yes please. Hit me up, Brenda!
I am a fun Indian to stay with. Mature for my age and can compete very well in a beer competition. I am a clean person and quiet sleeper so no snoring or walking around in the middle of the night. I am currently a full-time student at Monash University, Caulfield pursuing a Double Masters in Journalism. I have an awesome friend circle so far full of international students and would love to make some more. P.S- I can cook well and make one of the best-scrambled eggs. (demonstrations subject to availability of eggs and necessary kitchen equipment in the house)
I'm a civil engineer born and bred in WA but I've spent the last 9 months living and working in Shepparton. I’m heading back to Melbourne to work in head office on from Monday the 14th of August so I’m looking for somewhere permanent to call home. I'm 29 years old, been working as an engineer doing FIFO construction for 6 years and been living in share houses for 7 years (with guys/girls and dogs). I'm well accustomed to the usual housemate business (paying bills, keeping the place clean, keeping the noise down etc). My job has long hours so no risk of me waking the house up at 2am on a Wednesday morning. That said, do enjoy a beer and a chat after a day’s work but more than happy to give people their own space if that’s their thing. Music is my big time/money sink. Love going to shows/festivals and watching bands play live (usual poison is rock/metal). Other than that, like gaming and surfing (useless in the water, but love it), chilling with people, going to dinner, all the usual good stuff. I’ve chasing a place that is already kitted out (only moved over with 2 suitcases), but I can kit out a room as required. If that all sounds promising, send me a message and we can go from there cheers
Private room with your own bathroom (+ car space) near CBD ABOUT THE FLAT : The flat is part of a brand new building and comes unfurnished. However, I provide a new Fridge, new washing machine with dryer integrated, all brand new kitchen equipment, hoover, cleaning equipment, Iron, etc... If you have stuff for the living room and the balcony would be great such as sofa, lamp, arts, mirror, etc. Otherwise, that's not a problem at all as I'm planning to buy everything else step by step. The building has an indoor pool, a sauna and a gym. So nice during the winter :P ABOUT YOUR ROOM: Private room where can fit a King bed size with lots of storage. It comes unfurnished, so you will need to provide your own bed. The room is not really big but the best part is that you will have your own bathroom with a bath :) The best thing after a long day at work. If you have a car (I don't), there is a car space available. If you do not have a car too, I was thinking to rent the car space and we can use this money to pay our bills :) Could be cool, right? ABOUT PRICES: The rent is $1300 a month ($300 weekly). The rent has to be paid monthly. The lease is under my name. However, to secure our agreement, we will sign both a contract with a minimum of 28 days notice and a bond of 1 month. ABOUT AVAILABILITIES: The room is available from August and the dates are very flexible. You can move anytime in August but it needs to be before the end of the month. The sooner is better but I'm really flexible with your moving date. So, no worries... ABOUT TRAM/TRAIN: There are 2 trams: 12 and 109. They are just in front of the building (10 seconds by walk...no kidding!) And 109 is also a night tram. Those 2 trams are direct to CBD in less than 15 minutes, 10 minutes to go to Fitzroy, 5 minutes from North Richmond train station. ABOUT LOCALITIES: The flat is in front of Victorian garden shopping centre (Coles, local fruits and vegetables, medical centre, Post office, beauty institutes, Pharmacy, coffees bar, and many more) So convenient! And there is also IKEA. So if you need to buy your bed, no needs to go far away, either to rent a truck as we live right in front of the entrance :) The flat is near Victoria street and Bridge road where are many amazing places for food and drinks. ABOUT ME: I'm Jo, 26 years old from France. I work as Restaurant floor manager in a luxury hotel. I'm living in Melbourne for good since 9 months ago. I'm a vegetarian with a very healthy life style. I don't smoke, eat organic food much as I can. I do boxing, yoga and love walking into the nature. I also do meditation. I think I'm very easy to live with. I'm very respectful and extremely...clean. I would be very happy to have chat and laugh with you after work in the kitchen around a glass of wine but I also sometimes need my own space. I'm a big food and wine lover and love to go outside to try new places around the city with my friends. About my working hours, I work in hospitality week and weekends days included. I start very...very early shifts such as 6 AM. I get up of bed around 4h30 AM (I know... that's sucks) So, I'm usually in bed around 9h30PM. I would really appreciate someone who will be able to respect my weird and annoying sleep hours :) That includes also Weekends... ABOUT YOU: Ideally, you are an easy going person to live with, very...very tidy and clean. I would love to live with another vegetarian or vegan flatmate to have a similar life style. I'm a green activist and unfortunately if you are a meat lover I'm not sure we will have lots of common points. Also, if you are Non-Smoker would be great but if you do, there is a big balcony where you can smoke. (It's forbidden to smoke inside the flat) Well, I think I have enough said but if you have any other questions, I would be very happy to answer to you. I can't wait to get to know my next future flatmate :)) Jo
