MY SITUTATION: I'm not the best at writing these things and always get stuck on how to start. So I'm just going to go for it, I have been living by myself and my lease is about to run out. I had what I thought was going to be a great home turn out to be violent and has left me in a very difficult financial position as half my furniture was moved into this home. I have had a rough few years, my mum died of covid-19 in my arms right after I gradatuated from Monash University and have found the job market a struggle to enter, therefore I am on jobseeker payments. I do however I have other sources of income from working very casually at Mecca and freelance modelling. ABOUT ME: I have great rental history, and have never been late with payments. I have two very tiny amazing long-haired chihuahuas who would love a home they are accepted into, they truly wiggle their way into peoples hearts. I'm an abstract artist you can check me out. I love fashion, make-up, all things girly I suppose and I have a slight following on social media so I work with brands a fair bit. Iplay piano, I'm really friendly and if you need help with something I'm often the first person to put their hand up. I have lived both on my own and with others. I have never really had the chance to make many friends in Melbourne and would really love to find other creatives like myself. I have invested good money into beautiful furniture I'm happy to bring or easily sell. If you think we would vibe and you can help me in finding a home I can really stay in for a long time, you won't regret accepting me. I'm VERY flexible with whatever area I move to, I'm really looking for the right people, the right home and the right environment.

Hi! I’m Riccardo, 29, and I’ve been living in Australia for the past two years (mostly in Perth). I’m now moving to Melbourne for work and new adventures — I work for an Italian energy company in the CBD, with a couple of days per week working from home. I’ve spent several years in co-living environments both in Europe and Australia, so I’m very comfortable sharing a home and really enjoy the social side of it. I’m into cycling and surfing, and I’m always happy to grab a beer now and then. Since it’s my first time in Melbourne, it’d be great to have a roommate to hang out with occasionally. I’m clean, chill, easygoing, and while I’m not much of a pet person, I do value living in a tidy and relaxed home. I’m looking for a place from October (the date is flexible), ideally with an ensuite room. A car space would be a bonus, even if outdoors. I’d like to stay long term (around 6 months or more), so finding somewhere I can really call home is important to me. My budget is flexible depending on the property. In terms of location, I’m mainly looking around South Yarra and Richmond or nearby suburbs — ideally somewhere that’s easy to reach the CBD but also close to Yarra Boulevard for a bike ride. Unfortunately, I can’t attend inspections in person as I’m still in Perth, but I’d be happy to connect over a video call.
