I'm a 29 year old American guy that has just finished backpacking in Asia for a year and now I'm settling in Melbourne for awhile. I'm looking for a place for at least 6 months, potentially longer. I worked in IT for 4 years in Chicago but I'm currently in search of cafe work (hopefully day hours). I'm laid back, considerate, keep things clean and have been told that I'm a very easy person to live with. I enjoy running, biking, and cooking. I'm not a huge party person, but definitely enjoy a few drinks after work and the occasional night out. Since I'm new to the city it would be great to become friends with my future flatmates but it's not a must.
Hello, I am a happy, clean 25 year old from Scotland with a fulltime job. I'm easy to get along with and like socializing on my days off/chilling during my working days. Just want to make the most out of my time in Melbourne and make new friends. Rogan
So besides my odd love for cleaning and total understood respect for personal space, I'll bring many rainbows and smiles into your days. Not to mention the constant entertainment of my queer ass personality 👽 I'm currently working at The Waterslide Bar in Southbank (soon to be melbournes BEST) ;) I don't spend a lot of time going out and partying, my shifts at work are enough! Although when I do go out, I like chasing happy hours and people watching. Chatting about strange things that will probably never ever happen and laughing until I literally just can not. In love with music. I don't think there is ever a time in my days or nights that I don't have music playing. BUT! I'm not a dickhead about it. Not gonna be popping ACDC at 3am... Animal lover, but don't have one. Smoker, but I'll literally walk a million miles to have one if that's your wish. Star gazer, when Melbourne isn't bloody overcast. In a relationship with red wine, but not an alcoholic. From Western Australia, im a max chiller. Peace out future housemates ✌🏼 look forward to meeting you, whoever you may be 😎
I'm very clean and tidy and very easy to get on with. I love meeting new people and I respect my flatmates space. I work fulltime in Melbourne CBD. Happy to answer any questions that you may have - thanks - Paul
Just moved to Melbourne from the UK after travelling in SE Asia and NZ for 5 months, looking for somewhere to live for the next year (would be interested in short term lets for 4-6 weeks if that's available too). I'm easy-going, friendly and tidy, very easy to live with! I'm always up for a chat over a glass of wine in the evenings if that's your thing. I'm into running, yoga, films and I love going out for dinner and drinks. I recently discovered Aussie Rules and would definitely be up for heading to the games with future housemates :)
Hi ! I'm Lucile, I'm a french engineering student and I'm going to do a 5-month internship in Melbourne at the CSIRO. I'm looking for a place where I could have my own bedroom. I would love to share a place with friendly and quiet people. I'm super easy-going and I'm also clean and respectful.
Helllloooooo, I'm Stacey, I'm 23 and from Southampton, England. I've been travelling since July 2016 through America, Mexico, South America and New Zealand before arriving in Melbourne in the middle of March. I already love it here and want to stay as long as possible; however I have to do my 3 months regional work at some point so I can stay longer! I'm clean and tidy. I find cooking quite relaxing but not when someone's looking over my shoulder, so leave me be and I might make you dinner. I'm respectful of others spaces but love a chat over a cup of tea/glass of wine/pint of beer (delete as appropriate). Currently searching for full time job which I hope I'll have soon, but have some money put aside for bonds/rent. I've lived in shared houses before during university and don't mind whether I live with girls or guys or both. I'm keen to see more of Melb and surrounding areas so someone that's in the know or just up for a bit of exploring would be great.
Very clean, friendly, respectful, social, easy going. Working holiday Visa holder from California look for a place to live!
I'm 27, Canadian, I Work full time in the automotive industry and I'm usually out doing activities on the weekends. I love meeting new people. Clean and tidy. I love to cook and bake for my flatmates:) I love good food, good wine and good company. I do respect others privacy. Cheers
Hello! Saskia here, I'm a full time Deakin student studying a double degree of Information Tech and Information Systems. I've been living in Burwood for 4 months now in a share house, but now I'm keen to move out with Caitie. I work in retail mainly, but also do some freelance IT work. I enjoy programming, gaming, cycling, shopping, reading, and mainly studying. Caitie is also a full time student at Melbourne Uni, studying Fine Arts. Shes bubbly and fun, enjoys art, puppies, keeping fit and meeting new people. Caitie works in hospitality and makes amazing coffee. She lives in Geelong currently, but really wants to move up here to avoid the travel time every day. Thanks! Sas (and Caitie)
Hi! I'm an 31 years old Italian girl, i've been travelling and working in hospitality business around Europe for the last 12 years. Always sharing flats with other people, so i'm used to it. I'm a positive and easy going person who likes to hang out and have a glass of wine, or just chill on the sofa watching a movie. When it comes to share a flat, respect and cleaning are the most important things to me.
Hello! My name is Kelsey and my girlfriend Kaya and I have been travelling around Australia for just over 2 months now. We are from Canada but have been blessed with Australian passports and are taking full advantage of this opportunity and are exploring this beautiful country. We now reside in Perth but are looking to move to Melbourne and work full time and discover the city! I enjoy photography and videography, while Kaya's a legend at the guitar if anyone is looking for a jam. We're easygoing and love cooking a good meal and are more than welcome to share. We're just two pleasant gals looking for some lovely roommates!
I've recently moved from Canada and have elected to spend my time in Australia in the city of Melbourne! I'm quite clean but not an absolute neat freak as I don't mind organized clutter in the right places, and I'm remarkably easy going and laid back. I enjoy going out and having the occasional friend over but staying in with a book and some tea is far preferable to me. I'll definitely be a very social house mate as I try to make friends wherever I go. Before I left Canada I was a fitness instructor at a trampoline park, so I'm a bit of a health nut with a pasta problem, and before that I was an antiques consigner, so I love design and really old things. I'm extremely passionate about music, listening and recording, but my favourite pastimes are split between napping and working out. Also, I make a mean batch of pancakes and I can supply the Canadian maple syrup, AND I have a Costco card. You cannot go wrong.
Heya, My name is Michael and I'm a 24 year old student in my final semester of Aerospace Engineering at RMIT. I'm also volunteering/working a couple of days per week in an aircraft restoration workshop. I'm a pretty fun guy and I get along well with everyone. I love to get outside of the house, whether for a bit of exploration, a good dinner, or a few good drinks with friends. I'd like to think I strike a good balance between being neat but also relaxed in a house. I've just returned to Australia from Germany and will be needing some accommodation for the upcoming months (ask me to pronounce the longest German word for a bit of a laugh). I'd like to find a 3 month lease because I will be moving to Canada in July (so I need accommodation April, May, and June). Location is not particularly important to me, because I'll be doing massive public transport any way. I study both in the city and Bundoora, and work in Moorabbin. Closeness to a train station is a big benefit. I also have a bike if that helps in the nearby area. I'm looking for people who want to be not just flatmates, but also friends. Interests include video games, watching movies, drinking with friends (out or in), eating, eating, eating, hiking (low effort hikes haha), new experiences, new people, and my strongest love; board games. Get in touch with me :) p.s. the thing below that says 'no pets' means that I have none, but I love animals. So, if you have any, all the better!
