Hi I'm Ellie, I am 29 years old and I am moving from the UK to Melbourne for work at the end of February 2019. During the week I am fairly quiet after work, I enjoy cooking, napping and yoga.. On a weekend I enjoy getting out and about and exploring, brunching and going for coffee and of course a wine or 10 which is a slippery slope to tequila. I also really like holidays and I am looking forward to exploring Melbourne, Australia and wider woop I would like to live with someone who is clean, tidy and considerate but who also likes clowning around and doesn't take themselves too seriously. I have a small pooch who is moving at the start of May 2019. She is probably the cutest dog in the world with zero bias, she's super friendly and fully house trained.
Hi all! We are 2 super friendly Canadian girls here in Aussie on our second year Working Holiday Visas. We studied Graphic Design and Urban Planning back in Toronto. Both of us are into spending Friday nights out on the town, or in with pizza and beer. Love meeting new people and friends, and experiencing new things! We're looking for a place within Melbourne CBD and close surrounding areas, also leaning towards a 3 month stay, with either a shared room with 2 single beds, or 2 private rooms. Cheers!
Hi I'm Debi 🤙✌️ I'm from Switzerland and I study Information Technology. Starting from February 2019 I'll be able to study one semester at RMIT in Melbourne. I'm super excited! ✨ I'm looking for a private room near my university (approx. 30min away with public transportation) until the end of June 2019. A little bit about myself: - always in a good mood - very tidy - super openminded - chill & friendly - trustworthy - respectful to others privacy I appreciate nice talks with a glass of wine, beer or tee, watch Netflix, cooking together, go to the gym, listening to music, read comics...the list goes on and on. If you would like to know more shoot me a message :)
Hey there! My name is Keletso and I am from Botswana (southern African) recently moved to Melbourne to study full time at Deakin University. I am super friendly and easy to get along with. I am also very cleanly so you will never complain about mess.
Hallo! The name’s Chris and I am moving to Melbourne at the start of 2019. I’ll be studying an Advanced Diploma of Music Industry Full-time commencing February. Originally from Adelaide, currently residing in the Gold Coast. I am pretty easy going, sociable and open minded. I enjoy meeting new people, going out, and travelling, but also appreciate my alone time to recharge. I aim to get a part time or casual job on the side of my studies once I find my footing. I love anything to do with music, film & tv, the beach, food, alcohol, exploring new places, and chilling out. I am looking for somewhere clean, simple and interchangeable, with my own room that has at least a bed to sleep on and somewhere to put my clothes & items. I am flexible with sharing a bathroom, toilet, kitchen and common areas. I don’t mind living with a few people but would prefer not to live in a big share house with an overwhelming amount of people. I also enjoy cooking, listening to a wide range of music whilst exploring new genres, learning to play an instrument, or relax on the couch and watch TV. I have my own Car (Toyota HiLux), so some sort of car park is necessary. I am neat, tidy, and respectful of my surroundings and other people’s belongings. I can be quiet and chill, or fun and loud, depending on the occasion and the people I’m with. If I sound like your type of house mate then hit me up! 🤙🏽
Hey! I am looking for a 2 bedroom apartment with 1 bathroom. I will be sharing the place with a friend of mine from University. I am in my 2nd year studying Master in Marketing at the University of Melbourne and need a house for a year or more.
Hey! I'm an international student - currently doing my Masters in Design and working part time. Im pretty flexible when it comes to living arrangements but basic privacy, cleanliness and respect is always a plus!
Moving to Melbourne from Brisbane for work. I work Monday-Friday as an administrator. Will most definitely be spending my weekends exploring beautiful Melbourne and meeting people. I like to live a balanced lifestyle and don’t smoke. Like to exercise, go to the beach, eat all the food and drink all the drinks! Looking for friendly housemates that I can hangout with as I don’t currently know anyone in Melbourne.
I will be working full time at the Pan Pacific Hotel starting in early January. I have just completed my university degree in Business in Sydney and looking to find a home to begin my the next stage of my life. I have lived in share houses in London, Queensland and Sydney and would love to find like minded people to explore Melbourne with and hopefully become friends :) Please feel free to message me if you are interested in teaming up or think I would be well-suited to your share house!
Looking for a place to live with some great people! Work full time and just finished paying off my car so can move out. Work is in Box Hill but i love the city so need to be somewhere in between hopefully close to a train! Always ready to have a few drinks and talk shit but also respect privacy and can watch Netflix for hours. Message if you want to know more, keen to hear from everyone :)
I am a responsible adult who loves to read and binge watch TV series. I love to talk but I also love my personal space and respect yours. I love to cook and grocery shop, I don't like to clean but being away from home has made me a compulsive cleaner. I spend most of my time at Uni and even when home, I tend to stick to my room.
I'm currently studying arts at Melbourne Uni, majoring in criminology and German. I have a passion for animals (particularly dogs), cooking, and am an avid reader when I have time. I work quite a lot, currently at a cafe in Kew 2-4 days a week and nannying another 2 days. I'm clean, a good cook (I'm vegetarian but it's completely fine if you aren't) and down to have dinner/wine together as much or as little as you want. My preference would be for a team up rather than moving in to an established household, because I have heaps of furniture and would love the thrill of setting up the house collaboratively that way you and I like! I'm planning on fully equipping the kitchen, so if you're a fan of baking, there will never be a shortage of utensils. I would also love to have a roommate with a pet (or several!), because I'll be leaving the family dog that we have had for over 10 years. Absolutely not a requirement, but would be a super fun bonus. I have a car so I will need parking, but am not fussed about whether it's on or off-street.
Spent two years studying in Sydney and moved to Melbourne four months ago. Working full time in a start-up accelerator managing operations and events. Grinding 9-5, 5 days a week. I do sketching, play basketball, read or cook when I'm not working. Always up for a chat! Looking for a house easily reachable from the city with flatmates who enjoy sharing meals, going out and are doing awesome things.
Hey there Melbs, I'm here to stay :-) I'm a Japanese teacher full-time and currently studying Graphic Design. My partner Scott, studies Fashion Design and works full-time in retail :-) Ask us anything you want :-) Have a favourite day

Easy to live with, very spick and span, up for making friends and both very respectful of other people. Barty can fit 14 grapes in his mouth at once. Emilie can whistle and hum at the same time. We are very friendly and can't wait to come to Aus!

We have a room available (end of December) in our three bedroom, 2 bathroom, townhouse in one of Richmond's best locations. Unfortunately, our lovely housemate is moving to Central Australia for work. Our housemate has offered to leave the furniture if you would like the room furnished. #The Room# The room is available on Saturday, 29-30 December 2018 (an earlier move in date may be possible though.) Rent is $946.33 paid monthly (approx. $218 a week) excluding utilities. Utilities include gas, water, electricity and internet averaging to $75 per person a month. The bond is a mere $500. The room is spacious enough to fit a queen-sized bed, a desk, and plenty of space to spare. There is reasonable amount of storage space throughout the house as well. Also, you will only be sharing the bathroom with one other person (Josh) as the main bedroom has an ensuite. #The House# The fully furnished townhouse is situated in a gated community on Church Street. There are three tramlines (#75, #70, #48) and two train stations (East Richmond & Richmond Station) all within a ten minutes walk from the house. There’s a Coles within 5 minutes walking distance in either direction of the house. Victoria & Chapel Streets are only a short tram ride or 20 minute walk and vibrant Swan Street is only 5 minutes away. If you’re a foodie, you’re going to be spoilt for choice! :) There is also a community library nearby, a market that's open on Saturdays, lots of relaxing parks (including one right behind the property), a swimming pool as well the nearby walking trails on the Yarra River.
Hey! I'm an easy going guy who recently moved back to Melbourne from Sydney. Looking for a place to live for 6 months to a year while I save up a deposit to (hopefully) buy! I work full-time in Port Melbourne and that soaks up a fair bit of my time. Often out catching up with friends on the weekend, but always down for a dumpling session or a couple of after work drinks.
Hi guys, we (Isa& Matt) are an easy-going and open-minded couple, hoping to find a comfy place in Melbourne. Isa travelled for two months up the East Coast and spent a lot of time surfing and spending money. I started studying and working part-time in October at the La Trobe Uni and live in the CBD right now, since it was convenient for my way to Uni (Collins Street). Isa will join me in Melbourne to work and have a good time! We´re both into sports, surfing and basically all the cool stuff Melbourne has to offer: electro, arts, flea markets and usually up for some bevies, if it fits in. I am planning to get myself a car in January - so if it´s possible to park close by it´d be great. Looking forward to catching up with you =) Isa& Matt
