Its situated within a 5-minute drive to Kotara Westfield shopping centre and less than a 10-minute drive to Merewhether beach and Redhead. It about 20 minutes to uni and is close to public transport with a bus stop within 60 metres and train station at Kotara. It is a quiet street with nice neighbors. The room is a large queen size room it is 3.6m by 3.6m. It will be repainted completely before you move in and carpets cleaned. It does not have built-in wardrobes however it is big enough to have a queen size bed, study, desk, chest of drawers and a wardrobe with adequate space leftover.

I’m renting the spare room in a 2-bedroom apartment. The apartment is in a great location as it’s only a 4-minute drive to Merewether beach and a 5-minute drive to Newcastle city centre. There is a bus stop only 100 metres from the apartment. A supermarket, cafes, bakery and pub are only 10-15 minutes walk away. The room will easily fit a double bed and has a built in wardrobe (the bed and desk in the photos aren't included). It is bright and sunny and has great views of Merewether heights. In the apartment the north facing balcony is excellent for sunny breakfasts with a green outlook and glimpses of the city skyline. It’s very private as there are no adjacent unit blocks and the apartment is located at the back of the building on a quiet street. The main stairwell is shared with only 3 other apartments and the neighbours are all friendly. The apartment is fully furnished with washing machine, dryer, fridge, TV, microwave and all household items. You only need to furnish your own room. Bills (gas, electricity, unlimited 50 speed NBN) are in addition to the rent and will be split evenly. Water usage is included in the rent. Close to Charlestown Square shopping centre which has all the major supermarkets, stores and restaurants, incl Cinema and the Bowls Club is literally over the road. Has access to public transport and pretty much everything is within walking distance (10 mins). The property has a deck out the back that faces onto Winding creek with big trees and lots of birds and native critters about. Gets the morning to afternoon sun and is shaded in the later part of the afternoon which is nice during summer. House is a bit old and needs a bit of work but everything is functional. Has aircon to lounge and in the main bedroom. I provide dishwashing liquid, paper towel, toilet paper, take the bins out and bring them in and look after the lawn and gardens and often take care of the washing up because I am here. Happy to do your washing as well and often it's easier with a number of people in I do the towels and general stuff. Feel free to help me out if it's your thing.
