Every room has a double bed, side bed, air conditioning, shelves etc., so it works perfectly for a single person as well as for a couple. We share a very large living room/kitchen with couches and a large TV where you'll have your own drawers and a full fridge for yourself!!! (We have two fridges) You can find the Stafford Shopping Centre within 2 min walk (Woolworths, Aldi, BigW, Bunnings, Hoyts Cinema, McDonald's, etc.). We are also conveniently located at 2 min walking distance from several bus stops that go towards the city (20 minutes ride, buses # 375, 335, 325, 353 and others...). The other people living in the house are aged between 22 to 34. We are all easy-going and we enjoy a chat or a drink every now and then, so you will join in a friendly environment. Nevertheless, we all wake up around 6 am most days so we try to keep the house quiet after 11 pm as a rule. Any gender is welcome but preferred female to make equilibrium in the house, 18 to 35 years old. You must be respectful with the other housemates and clean after yourself when you use the common area. This is necessary. Smoking is allowed only outside. The rent is $170/week (single), or $210/week for a couple (or share), and it includes all bills as well as Wi-Fi ADSL. A four-week bond is required upon entrance. Hi, I've lived in this house for 7.5 years, so it really feels like a home and not a share house. We are close to Stafford Road, so Stafford City is only 1km away, bus is a 3 minute walk, and of course the tunnel to the airport or the city is only 2 mins drive away. About 6 km from the city, so getting to town is about 20-30 mins by bus, depending on the traffic. The house is an old Queenslander, a little run down but with loads of character! We have Optus connections with unlimited internet and Fetch TV. We also have a cat, so if you are allergic, please be warned! As we already have a pet, we are not allowed to have any other animals, so sorry if you are looking for a place for your fur baby... I am smoker, but I do so outside, and hope you will not mind doing the same if you smoke.
