My name is Vera, I am 21 years old and I am from the Netherlands. From 28 January I will be in Sydney for my internship, for 4 months. Therefore, I am looking for a nice place for 4 months to stay. Meanwhile, my boyfriend will join me from 17 February until 14 May. We are looking for a private room in a nice shared house! :)
The house is in a wonderful location; we are 400 meters from the water where you can do some lovely runs, cycles or walks. We have Netflix, a large eat-in kitchen (if you like cooking), unlimited WiFi. It's also whisper quiet, so lots of good night sleeps. You can also enjoy your own private balcony, which is attached to the room.
Hey hey, I'm looking to find a new place to call home for the new year. I work full time as a journalist, I'm house trained, easy going and clean. I like catching up with housemates over a few drinks and trashy tv, but also happy to do my own thing. Apart from that I love the beach, books, beer and bad puns (and maybe alliteration). I'm an occasional diver, sporadic yogi and average cook - so won't hog the kitchen. I'm hoping to downsize from my current share house of five to something smaller and closer to my work. Looking to move in mid to late January. I've got furniture/house hold items I can bring or leave at my current place. I have a car so want somewhere that at least has street parking.
I have recently leased the 3 bedroom townhouse in Rozelle and will be moving into the space on Tuesday 29th January. The house will be fully furnished apart from the bedrooms and each bedroom in the house has a spacious private balcony and has access to a secure lock up garage. The house is extremely close to multiple buses that go into the city, the trip takes between 5-7 minutes to get to Town Hall station. WIFI is included in the rent and the TV has access to Netflix + Stan at no extra cost, but gas and electricity bills will be split equally between all housemates every 3 months. Rooms will be available to move into from Wednesday 30th January. The furnished photos on the profile are from the real estate ad and the unfurnished photos I have taken when I went to view the property. The house will be professionally cleaned before you move in. Happy to answer any more questions you may have about the house.
I'm a quiet and tidy mature professional who travels frequently, spends time overseas and who unfortunately has to move as the house is sold end of February. I'm looking for share accommodation up to 12months or possibly longer, depending on my work commitment overseas, with preferably 1 or 2 females (professional or otherwise), and don't mind living with cats (no dogs). Room can be either furnished or unfurnished and if possible with my own bathroom. Maximum of up to $300 including or excluding any outgoings but negotiable depending on the premises. Don't want to share with smokers either inside or outside so please don't contact me if you smoke. My suburb preference is Concord, Cabarita, Breakfast Point, Abbotsford, Chiswick, Five Dock, Drummoyne, Russell Lea, Rodd Point, Leichardt, Rozelle, Balmain, Birchgrove, with off street parking if possible. I'm quiet, tidy, easy going, non smoker, non TV addict, non party person, who enjoys good conversation, is respectful of others, and will pull my weight with household chores, including sharing the cost of groceries and cooking.
Hey :) My names Jax, im 31yr old, super chill aussie girl, originally from wollongong, however have lived in sydney for 9yrs, and have also been living in a ski town in canada for the past 2.5years. Ive been back living in sydney since september, in Chippendale. Am keen for somewhere with a little less city, a little more nature. I work full time in the city as an Executive Assistant at Ticketek, so have been fully abusing my perks for free tickets since I started haha. I trrrry to go to the gym to burn off all the chocolate I eat, so Im pretty low key during the week, and generally just watch netflix:) I love snowboarding, the beach, hiking, music, travelling, festivals, movies, drinks and just doing social things. Still like going out on the weekends, however would never bring the party back home. Ive lived in quite a few share houses in both sydney and Canada, so know how to respect everyone's privacy and space and can confirm I know how to clean up after myself :) I actually did housekeeping while living in Canada, so know how to clean a house... but definitely in no way OCD. Just hoping to find a nice place to live, with some chill housemates. I've always been super lucky and been friends with my housemates, would be awesome to find the same again! In saying that, I have friends in sydney and family/friends back home in wollongong so also have my own life and do my own thing :) Can of course pay Bond/rent up front, and am very flexible with a move in date! Any other questions just ask Thanks, Jax
I'm an IT contractor that returned from London about 3 months ago, I currently work at Sydney Olympic Park. I'm Australian and have spent sometime living abroad, Vancouver and also London for a good 8-9 years. I've always lived with people! My main interests are the outdoors, martial arts and yoga. Yoga is a huge part of my life. I taught in London and looking to setup classes here. I play the harmonium quite a bit and you need to be comfortable with the noise and my singing! :) I am vegetarian and my preference is to have no dead animals in the fridge. In all honestly I'm OK if you eat meat, my last flatmate ate meat and she fed her cat meat! I'm comfortable living with animals and hands down prefer dogs over cats! I'm drama free, clean and easy to get a long with, looking for the same in a housemate. I need a bit of space to do my practice and also parking space, so prefer house over a flat. Get in touch if you feel I'll be a good fit!
Hey hey! My name is Zeel Patel and I’m 23 years old. I’m moving to Sydney (from Melbourne) towards the end of January (can move earlier for the right roommate/house). I am a laid-back girl who enjoyes company and a chat but also respects privacy and lone time. I like gym and outdoors but also love a good binge watch! I’m a vegetarian but don’t mind if you eat meat as long as you can clean after yourself. I am easy-going and would love to make some new friends! I’d prefer to stay with female roommates. My budget is 300-310 per week max including bills and WIFI. Let me know if you’d like any further information and if you have anything available that matches my description. I am also interested in meeting up and searching for a property together with one or two other girls at the below listed preferences. Looking forward to hearing from you! Thank you! (:
Hi! My name's Matt, I'm 22 and I'm looking for a room in the inner west close to UTas in Rozelle. I work in retail, and have lived with housemates before throughout my undergrad. Would be happy to join an existing house or start a new one with some cool people! Message me on FB /matt.j.callow
Design architect, quiet, straight, mature, friendly, and reliable. Have been renting for the past few years, have seen and experienced all kinds of things, been a housemate, landlord, caretaker myself. If you can read this, then I'm still looking! Have a 2.4m long table, so it needs to go somewhere :( If the room is a 3x3, the table will effectively use up 50% of that space, fyi. Also have 2 x corner chairs and a car. Don't need to be furnished. Speaks Mandarin and Malay and some other useless dialects too. Career driven, I'm always busy with something work related. I'm also flexible with the location, as long as it is not too far away from public transport.
Hi, I am Katie! I am 24 years old and I am from Melbourne. I am moving to Sydney for work and very excited about the move. I am looking for a house and housemates who have a chilled out vibe. I do enjoy the occasional Netflix binge and G&T but also enjoy a nice day out in the sun. I am very friendly and respectful. Love when housemates can hang out together but also understand the concept of alone time! Please message me with any questions :)
Hi, my name is Em. I am moving to Sydney from Adelaide to study my Masters at The University of Sydney in Mid-February 2019. I will have a full time study load and a part-time job. Other than that I enjoy travelling, drinking wine, going out for dinner and spending time with friends. I am looking for a friendly place to call home, preferably for the next year or two. I would love to spend some time with a housemate, sharing a drink, tea or dinner when we all can, but I appreciate the need to retreat and enjoy some separate time. I am ideally looking for somewhere from mid to late February 2019, but I am flexible with this.
Hey guys, we're a couple moving up to Sydney from Melbourne. We are looking for a beautiful place to call home for at least 2-3 months. We are happy to sign an agreement for up to 6months. We are both super relaxed and keep ourselves pretty well entertained, but are happy to share a meal or some wine from time to time. I (Michael, 28) am an entrepreneur and public speaker from NYC, working with the government here, to provide training to their foster parents and Mo (25) is from Perth and is a youth worker. Things we enjoy: The outdoors, road trips, bike rides, roller blading, THE BEACH and home renovation shows, LOL. Looking for like minded, easy going people who enjoy the simple (and sometimes adventurous) life. Bonus points if you know who Eckhart Tolle, or Abraham Hicks are :)
Hola! I'm Vanessa, a 27 year old, champagne lover, pun enthusiast and full-time publicist. I work in Barangaroo and in my free time love getting out and about exploring Sydney and its surrounds. I'm an early bird who'll get up and out of the house, but also love heading home at the end of the day to relax and unwind with a great book and a glass of vino. I'm very neat and tidy and take pride in having a warm and welcoming home. I'm looking to move in with a flatmate who shares this same ethos, enjoys having the occasional get together, and will be respectful of shared spaces. If this sounds like you and you'd like to team up to share a space in Lilyfield/Rozelle/Balmain/Leichhardt, I'd love to hear from you!
I'm a neat and quiet, reliable person to live with. I work full time and I don't smoke. I'm no party animal but I still like to be social. I want to live with roommates who are like-minded. =) I like to spend my free time split between hanging out at home and going out with friends. Initially I would only like to agree to renting for a period of six months, which could be extended to another six months if all goes well. I would ideally like a room with a decent amount of wardrobe space and a private bathroom/ensuite if possible in a place that is close to public transport and shops.
I am organized with my things and clean after I go, cause I grew up with sort if an OCD mother. I like to be quiet and at peace when I am at home. But I also enjoy from time to time to have a social gathering within flatmates. My job was in Marketing so I am used to talking with different kinds of people. I am currently a student and part-time working. More inclined to arts as I love singing, dancing and guitar playing but very analytical and observant.
GREAT LOCATION - HUGE ROOMS - SECURE PARKING There are three light bedrooms, hardwood floors, high, ornate ceilings and a beautiful grassy backyard with spots for seating and outdoor dining in this stand-alone house. There is a double lockup garage and back laneway entry (we can negotiate the rent based on who gets/needs the spot but I'll be taking one) and there is also on street parking. The bedrooms will easily each fit a queen sized bed and other furniture eg. desk and/or dresser/wardrobe etc. Netflix and Stan will be set up in the loungeroom free of charge! The whole house will be furnished except for your room. The common areas of the house are small but with a huge backyard for outdoor dining and gardening, as well as big double rooms, it's a bargain! I also have a particular knack for making small spaces feel bigger and I'm excited to move in and furnish the place. Located on Terry St, Rozelle, the house is a short walk to Darling Street shops, markets, 10 minute bus ride rd to the CBD (5 minutes to Victoria rd bus stops), and close to markets, cafes and all other local hotspots. You will be living with me and my very friendly doggo Rocky (9yo small staffy x) see pic attached!
I am easy going, and very clean! I like to get up early to exercise a couple of days a week and chill out in my room most nights after work. I love catching up on missed TV shows and movies and would call myself a bit of a movie buff! I enjoy baking and making deserts. I am a social person and enjoy the company of others. I'm not a big drinker but do enjoy the occasional night out with friends.
I am a 27 year old lawyer working normal hours in the CBD. Interests include reading, true crime, fitness/health beach and outdoor activities! I also love a good netflix binge and trashy tv. I generally rise early during the week, try and exercise before work cook at home and got to bed relatively early. On the weekends I try to get out and about, do the usual beach/brunch weekend activities and maybe visit my family on the central coast. I enjoy a nice glass of red wine at home as well as out and about. I'd say my partying days are behind me and I'm looking for a home with likeminded roommate/s to spend some downtown with at home.
