Yo, I'm Stephan - a kiwi/Austrian living and working in Sydney. I'm super easy going, very social and have heaps of different interests. I also reckon I'm a pretty nice guy, and I'm tidy and clean up after myself :) Meeting new people and travelling are things I love doing, I'm also into longboarding, Kung Fu, technology (I work in IT) and learning languages, amongst other things.
Hi There, My names Jesse and I work in sales for a tech company based in Drummoyne. I work 8:30 - 5:00 weekdays. I'm really into writing, so I spend a lot of my spare time writing articles. If I'm not doing that, I'm generally reading, outdoors or having an occasional drink. I'm not big on parties (grown out of that stage) and respect other people's privacy, as I like my own. In saying that, I do enjoy hanging out with friends, having movie nights and I love to cook! I'm looking for a place that has other professionals, who work full-time and enjoy their privacy but also have a social life.
I'm easy going and have a good sense of humour. I'm clean and polite. I enjoy travelling and have just come back from a year of backpacking through Asia and Europe. I am looking to share with nice and like minded people.
I would say I am a pretty chilled and friendly person. On weeknights I am usually enjoying some down time watching Netflix and relaxing. But I love to go out and hit the town! I love taking up new hobbies and making/hanging out with friends. I’m a pretty tidy person and usually clean up after myself.
I'm a 25 year old engineer originally from Melbourne. Pretty laid back type of guy who enjoys a drink or two at a bar or kicking back and chilling with a couple of friends. I'm always down for a chat, love good coffee and enjoy being around friendly people. Tend to keep the weekdays pretty quite but my weekends I'm normally out and about either hiking, exploring nature and Sydney or enjoying a good book at a quiet cafe. I’m a person who is neat, tidy, respectful of others, their property and communal spaces, honest, open minded and is pretty relaxed. I enjoy having the occasional drink or meal together but also enjoy some quiet time. I work long hours during the week so I'm won't be home much to make a lot of noise, but always happy to kick back together and have a chat when possible.
A cosy double bedroom is available for rent in our freshly renovated terrace. The newly painted walls create a bright airy feel but the original features remaining add character and old world charm. Downstairs, the communal living spaces are fully furnished - laundry and kitchen already installed with necessary white goods and fixtures; and a big TV in the living space. The room available looks out onto the courtyard which is slowly transforming into a little edible oasis however spaces such as the laundry and back yard are still a work in progress. Internet and all bills are included in the rent. There is also a spare room available which can be negotiatiated. This little terrace is in great proximity to the CBD - only one bus stop away from Town Hall. It is also only a short walk to markets, cafes, restaurants, pubs and shops of Rozelle and Balmain. Venture a few minutes further and you are at the Tramsheds of Glebe or Pyrmont.
I am very easy going, clean, respectful and like to meet new people. I am currently studying full time and work part time. I enjoy going out for dinner and having a couple of drinks on the weekend. I am from Canada finishing up my last year of my degree. I should probably mention that I have a boyfriend who lives up the coast but visits me around 2x/week and I sometimes spend some nights at his.
Looking for a place to live from June 17th! Our Latin roots make us an easy going couple to live with, we enjoy tidy spaces, socializing, cooking (We are trying to get better at it), training, physical activity, and of course music, Latin rhythms and dancing (Not like we gonna make home a carnival). Clara is a Medical Laboratory Scientist working as a pathology collector, and I am a Business Administrator with HR focus trying to grow in the construction industry and studying at the same time. We are very respectful of others time, culture, opinions, tranquility and privacy, hence we like to be respected in those regards too. Just so you know we've been told to be excellent Spanish and salsa dancing teachers!! :). We are willing to meet personally if you want to know more about us!!
The house is spacious fully furnish has new carpet and recently renovated. Great outdoor undercover BBQ area. Location is brilliant, bus to the city only 14minutes. Balmain Rozelle for restuarant, pubs and bands. The house has a huge back yard and if you like to garden can become your own vege and herb indulgence. At present you have the choice of bedrooms and will be the first to move in. Looking for 2 housemates in total. The owner has the third bedroom but will not be sleeping there.
Hi there. My name is Steve and I'm a 30 year old (31 in August) guy (gay) originally from country NSW although, I've lived in Sydney for many years now. Hoping to find a new home and flat mate. I work in property and financial services 5 days per week between 8:30-5:00. I have an active social life outside of home and have always considered myself the perfect housemate :) Extremely clean, tidy and considerate, I'm looking forward to finding like minded people to enjoy renting a home with. Reason for my search - my current lease will soon expire after 2 years of holding it. I do smoke (outdoors) although am trying to quit. I am extremely tidy and respectful of communal spaces. Love having the occasional drink or meal together but don’t depend on this – I have a good group of friends. Enjoy the occasional night out, but my main focuses are my family, friends and work. I would enjoy living with all sorts of people – provided they are also tidy, respectful, open-minded, honest, caring and cooperative. I have no special dietary restrictions although I’m often out at meal times, so I tend to look after myself. I am always keen for communal dinners however, as well as BBQ’s. If there is anything else you would like to know, please feel free to contact me. Steve
Hi, names Peter and I'm from England! Been living in Sydney for nearly 6 months now and love it here. Recently started a new job that looks to keep me here for a few years so looking for somewhere i can settle down in. Minimum stay would be 3 months as i want to make sure i am comfortable in my new home before committing to a longer length. I'm a normal guy who enjoys gyming, keeping fit and cooking. I work 6 days a week, roughly 9/5, so i won't be around too much. But always up for a pint or going out when i have free time. I drink tea.
Hi! I'm a professional person looking for a calm, responsible and friendly place to live - I'm quite quiet and keep to myself but always enjoy chatting and sharing a meal every so often (I'm quite a good cook!). I love music but usually listen on my headphones unless there's no one in the house, so wouldn't disturb you with that. I'm always happy to do my share of the household tasks and am quite easy going. I usually work a Monday to Friday full time job in the city so tend to keep mostly regular hours (albeit slightly flexible office hours) but sometimes work out on site so would could be working some earlier mornings. I don't party often (if ever, and never in the house) and the latest I'm usually out is when I go to the theatre or am working late at the office. I have my own furniture apart from a wardobe (my current room has a built in) so would rather an unfurnished room. I've got a queen sized bed so some space in the room would be good. I'd be more comfortable living with other women but that's not a necessity. On weekends I either like going exploring, or I love having a chilled weekend at home reading, watching TV or playing games (both computer and traditional board/card games). $300 per week is my budget and ideally at that rate I'd be looking for some of the bills to be included, but I'm happy to consider slightly more expensive property if it's exceptionally spacious etc. Ideally I would be looking for a place until mid to late November. I am currently awaiting a visa application decision by Immigration, so there is a slight possibility that if it gets turned down I'd have to leave Australia in 28 days. I'd love to hear from you! Holly :)
Hi! I'm 22, work full time in events in Ultimo. I like to have housemates that are friends also, but I also totally get that people like their own space sometimes (as do I). I am clean and tidy, and fairly chilled out. Not looking for a party house but dont mind if people are over etc. I love live music - I work in the industry so there are occasionally free tix! - sports, books, shopping, being outside/active, and watching reality tv with a beer after work. Bonus points if you have a dog!! I also dont have a car, so no need to share parking spaces. I would be happy to go on a lease, or look for team ups as I am looking for somewhere long term!
Hi I am Hugo! 23 year-old currently working in the public sector as a financial analyst (young professional *tick*) I have had 5 years of share-house experience so definitely share-house-trained. I respect others' privacy but also like to chill with others, share the occasional meals and wines (though I prefer gin-and-tonic), fit right in with most households listed here. (This is more than what I have written on Tinder and hopefully I have made a better impression here!)
It is a private floor within a lovely cottage with an oasis garden in Rozelle. The room has an independent entry from the street and is fully furnished, including a fridge and a small cooktop for you. It has as well a really nice ensuite bathroom. On top of all that private space you will share the main kitchen and living room with us, a young couple from Spain working in Sydney, and our lovely Labrador Solea.
I work full time for a non-profit in the city so I'm often out most days. I like to stay active, you'll usually find me by the water at sunset or catching up with friends :) But I love to cook up some decentttt meals and watch movies (whilst devouring an entire chocolate cake... ) My bestie is now taking a plunge to move in with his GF, so I'm looking to find a place with someone who's like minded, enjoys catching-up, and generally likes to converse :) 2 bedders are just way better value than a 1 bedder hey :)
I'm from Canada visiting Australia on a working holiday visa. I'm personable, clean, organized, respectful, flexible and adaptable. I'm a good listener, but can provide good banter too. I like to help others solve problems. At times I like to be extroverted and meet new people yet I like my quiet time alone too.
