I'm an exchange student from Vietnam. I will study in Melbourne for a year. I'm interested in new technologies, especially phones. I also love photography and traveling.
Hello, FlatMatties! I am an international student living in Melbourne from last month. I am doing my bachelors from La Trobe University Bundoora Campus and working part time at collins street. I am looking for a place cheap to live. and I am pretty much comfortable with room share or flatshare option. I am mostly out for work or studies and just come back in the night. I am a pretty much welcoming guy and don't have any racial/ religious/ nationality/ gender preferences. I like to party once a while or go out on weekend to beaches or maybe exploring the city but don't worry if the house vibe is not party like I will respect other people's comfort. As I am new in the city I would love to meet people who like to have a conversation with a drink once in a while but at the same time can give me some alone time. I am looking somewhere in the CBD area or any surrounding suburbs from where the commute time to city is 10-20 minutes. I am more than willing to rent out a place of our own and start a share house with like minded people. I am actually looking for long term place but my lease at current place will expire on 15th May and by 15th June I will be going to Canberra for 4-6 weeks. So it will be nice if something can be figured out regarding my vacations in that period otherwise I will be notifying you 2 weeks before moving out.
Hi there, I am looking for a place to stay for 6 months. As a housemate I'm super tidy, clean and respectful. Please feel free to contact me :) Cheers, Mild

Hi there I'm an easy-going guy who loves music. When I'm not at work I like messing around in ableton, hanging out, working out, cooking a feast, watching shows, having drinks etc. I am looking for a peaceful and friendly home.
I would like to rent out my spare bedroom in a 2 bedroom flat. The room and flat is fully furnished with unlimited wifi internet. Its an awesome location with all these amenties nearby: - 1 minute walk to tram 96 (Melbournes most popular tram route) - a short walk to trams 3, 12, 16, 67 and 78 - a short walk to Balaclava train station - a short walk to bus route 623 which takes you to Chadstone shopping center (Australia's biggest shopping center) - a short walk to the beach and Saint Kilda botanical gardens - easy access to Acland street, Fitzroy street and Chapel street - heaps of shops, supermarkets, cafes, restaurants and bars nearby There is no minimum stay, just pay rent on a weekly basis. This room would be perfect for travellers or students looking for a great base from which to explore all the best that Melbourne offers. * The room is really spacious so I am also open to the idea of 2 girls sharing the room.
Easy going, neat and tidy. Not a party animal, so minimal noise in house. Good with pets.
Clean, respectful, we are basically never at home. On our day off we like to spend time outside, going to the stadium, to the cinema, having dinner outside. We are not "party people" . We would like to find a place where we could stay for long time without need to worry about moving out.
Ensuite room in 20th floor, furnished apartment (brand new in the STK building) with balcony, overlooking St Kilda plus sweeping views of the bay, Albert Park and the city. It's in a pretty sweet location, handy to trams on both St Kilda Road and Fitzroy Street. $325/week, bills inclusive. Looking for a chilled, non-smoker. Now that the room is furnished, I'm open to long or short-term. I work in software and spend most of my spare time surfing, playing beach volleyball or discovering Melbourne. I'm respectful of personal space but also happy to share a wine/meal at home or out and about. The room itself is furnished, has carpeted floors, plush queen size ensemble, built-in wardrobes, small desk & chair as well as an ensuite bathroom with plenty of cabinets and space. Look forward to meeting you! Shared Pool Shared Sauna Shared Gym Dishwasher Air conditioning Built-in wardrobes Balcony access
So your looking for a flatmate? Someone to look after your beatiful home? How about three? It may sound like a lot... but read on. You'll find we may be just what you're looking for. Hi, we are Billy and Libby. Nice to meet you! We recently moved over from New Zealand and are super excited to get to know our new city. Billy works in construction and Libby works in marketing. We are very clean, tidy and house proud. We enjoy the odd night out, movie marathons and exploring the great outdoors. We live a healthy and active lifestyle, but would never say no to a burger and beers. So who's the third you may ask? Our fumbling bundle of absolute hilarity, Jack. A three year old Doberman, he is very well behaved and to put it simply, he loves love. And bonus - you'll NEVER find him tucked away under a desk chewing your shoe to pieces. The particulars: we are very flexible on both move in date and length of stay but we are looking for something more long term.
