    Taygan

    $180/week29 year old woman

Hello, I'm Taygan (She/Her)😊 I am studying remedial massage, I teach circus casually, and am on centrelink. I have been living in Melbourne in sharehouses for eight years now! I enjoy my own space and company, and tend to keep to myself because I need time to recuperate from the day. Once I am comfortable with the people I live with I might spend a bit more time in communal spaces, however I need space and time to adjust and get used to all the newness (people, places, rules etc.). I like having housemate dinners occasionally, and really enjoy cooking for my friends and family (housemates included), so if you're up for some communal house bonding over food and drinks, I'd be very happy to join and make food for it. House board game nights and other social activities would be nice too!🌻🌸✨️ I like living in clean and organised spaces. It makes me happy. I would prefer to go into a place that has a cleaning roster (or is willing to start one when I join), as I find that when people clean when they want to, the job isn't evenly spread. I also like having the instruction of knowing what I have to get done in the week. I would also appreciate having a regular house meeting where everyone can share what is and isn't working for them, and we can all work together to find solutions to create a more pleasant living space for everyone😊 I enjoy doing yoga, and a bunch of crafty things, and love having greenery in my living space. I have a few plants although I'm still on a learning journey of the best ways to look after them all. Would also love to create or help out with a veggie patch! Art is a major part of my life, and I love immersing myself in arts events (and activities etc.) of all sorts🌻🤸🏻‍♀️🤹‍♀️🎨🎭🌸🌈✨️ I would really like to live with inclusive, artistic, thoughtful, and environmentally friendly people, who are open, proactive, and honest communicators. I don't smoke and would prefer to live in a smoke free home. I am queer, polyamorous, suspected neurodivergent, and I speak Spanish (although I'm a bit out of practice lately). I would like to move ASAP, and would really like to find a place to settle down for a few years, as I have moved a lot recently and would like to stop! Depending on rent price/bond, I may be able to move earlier (or later if you have a room and house vibe that suits). Let's have a chat!😊

    Ellie and George

$500/week26-29 year old woman and man

TLDR: Ellie (Malaysian) studied in Adelaide and has lived in share houses for the past 4+ years while in Adelaide. George is born and raised in Adelaide and is excited to start a new chapter in life! We are moving to Melbourne late Nov 2025 for work. Looking for a place that is commutable to Richmond, Hawthorn, and CBD within 40 minutes by public transport. Able to provide rental references :) --- Ellie: I'm a clean and considerate person, a little introverted but I do enjoy the chats about life after a long day. I appreciate living in a household where open communication and cleanliness is a priority but I also understand that there are some days which is just not it! I've lived in both female-only and co-ed households, so I understand the importance of respecting personal spaces, keeping shared spaces clean, having cleaning routines and making sure each of us have time to use the kitchen for cooking etc. If this is a plus for you, I've personally managed household bills and am conscious about turning lights / appliances off whenever it's not being used. I also practice separating waste for recycling and composting. I work in tech and will have some WFH days. If you're early in your tech career we can even have Leetcode and system design study sessions. Being a huge home body, you'll probably catch me reading books, manga and playing catch up with the latest trending anime. I'm also into gymming, running, cycling and music. If you're a person that likes to sing, I'll happily play the keys for ya :) As I get allergies easily, I'd hope to move into a no-shoes household 🥹 I'm also able to provide rental references! --- George: I'm currently a software engineer who's transferring to the Melbourne office under my current company. My hobbies include gymming, running and playing video games. I'm a very easygoing and clean person who actually quite enjoys doing chores. I'll also have a car that we can take for trips or if you're buying heavy groceries or things that need moving. Not a requirement of ours, but with our current budget, it'd be nice for it to cover having an en-suite bathroom, as well as an available car port space (but street parking is fine too!) Ellie and I will be having a pretty synchronized daily schedule so we'll be using shared spaces like cooking in the kitchen together to save some time :) --- We hope to meet our future housemates and to find a lovely place to call home in Melbourne 😊🏡

    Asuka

    $200/week31 year old woman

Hello I’m Asuka! I'm a 31-year-old freelance music photographer from Taiwan. I came to Melbourne a year ago on a working holiday and now study full-time in Management. 🏠 I'm looking for a private room in a clean, bright, and neurodivergent-friendly shared house in the inner north or east suburbs, ideally close to tram or train lines into the city and grocery stores. A furnished or semi-furnished room is preferred (I have some basic furniture but am missing a mattress), and I'd love a relatively quiet room that gets plenty of natural light, especially morning sunlight. 💰 My budget is around $200/week including bills, and I’m hoping to find a long-term stay with people who are respectful, organised, and super clean. 🧡 I’m a big fan of live music, you’ll often find me behind the camera at gigs or on my laptop editing photos. Photography is my passion, and something I’m working towards doing full-time in the future. In my free time, I enjoy watching movies (alone or with friends), exploring music, and streaming Formula 1 races on weekends. I normally drink socially and don't mind smoking, but not inside the house, and I believe communication is key when you share a living space with others! I can be a bit particular about hygiene, but I’m easygoing when it comes to working with whatever cleaning system the house has in place. :) Happy to answer any questions if it sounds like a potential fit. Thanks!
