I'm looking to create or join a pretty chilled creative comfortable home. I work full time at an acting school mostly in producing events. I come home to chill and relax so not looking for a party house...that said I don't mind a good party. I'm a clean, considerate and respectful housemate. It's important for me that everyone feels like it's their place, communication is key. I keep busy and respect people need to do their own thing but very happy to share a meal too. Hi, We are a couple of Professionals, looking for a place to sleep closer to the city to ease our current 3 hour a day commute. We are an Architect and an Interior Designer working full time and studying our trade at night. We are looking for super clean, neat and respectful flatmates. We are not looking for a party house or a house as we are way past this stage. This is a short term 6 month at max run for us as we are looking to purchase our first property by June 2017. We would be happy to house sit for shorter periods or quietly reside in a granny flat or the like. We enjoy being active running, bike riding and picnics when not working 40+ hours per week.
We are both tidy, considerate and respectful of others. We are working and while we enjoy going out we typically do not stay out too late. Both of us are from Texas, USA and are here on a Working Holiday Visa.
I am very clean and tidy, I love to be social and am always keen to meet new people and hang out. I am working full time as a mechanical engineer during the weeks but love to spend time with other like minded people on the weekends. I am a fan of live music and am always playing a sport and trying to keep fit. I am from Sydney, and don't know much about Melbourne, but am eager to explore everything the city has to offer and to meet new and interesting people.
Hi We are looking for a new housemate to share this three bedroom home. It is a furnished, two story townhouse. There is one bathroom, which contains a shower, toilet and spa bath upstairs, and there is another toilet down stairs. The house has two small court yards, in the front and back of the place. Balaclava station is a short walk away and there are trams all over the place. The available bedroom is large and contains a bed and a desk. It has a wardrobe and there is plenty of storage room. We are looking for professionals, preferably in their mid-twenty's to mid-thirty's to share the house with. People who are reasonably quiet during the week and wont bring the whole party back to the house on weekends. we like to have fun but this isn't a party house. People who also don't mind doing their share of cleaning/house work every week. No students or couples please. You will be sharing the house with a 33 year old software engineer. I am working full time during the week so prefer the weeknights to relax. I am down to earth and very respectful and i would also like you to be the same. The other housemate is a 30 year old retail employee who works during the week. The rent for the room is $220pw which includes the internet. The gas/electricity and water bills will be split between the housemates. The bond is one months rent. Email or message me telling me a bit about yourself if you are interested in the room
Young, professional couple. Clean and tidy, love going out for a drink and being social on the weekends. Clint runs a Graphic Design business and Nevena works in Marketing. Potential roommate must love dogs - we have a 2 year old border collie, very well trained and will most likely become your best friend. Looking for a roommate to find a 2 bedder with, budget of around 300-400 for us.
My name is Miranda, 28 and work full time in toorak for a plastic surgeon. I'm easy going, fun, clean and prompt with payment of bills and rent. I enjoy socialising and am generally catching up with friends on the weekends or going back to my home town as I have only been in Melbourne for 6 months and like to keep things pretty chilled out during the week but I would be interested in sharing the occasional drinks or dinner with housemate/s

Working holiday visa holder from LA. Work in hospitality and advertising. I'm a quiet, super tidy, and respectable roomie, though I do like to socialize over a beer or community meal now and again. Looking for the same in flatmates. As for my interests, I enjoy travel, hiking, photography, sports, film, music, craft beer, wine, food, dessert, exercise, and discovering the best in every city I step foot in. I also enjoy people reading my messages and ignoring them, with the occasional sarcasm. Will Ferrell is my spirit animal.
Hello! I am from England and have just finished travelling SE Asia and the East Coast and am looking to settle in Melbourne for the rest of my working holiday visa. I currently work in hospitality so have quite varied hours but would definitely be around to say hi! I would say I am very easy-going and friendly - I enjoy going out for drinks (especially Gin &Tonics) and socialising, but equally love sitting in and watching Netflix!
Hi, my name's Hilda. Newbie to Melbourne as of a year ago.. I work in communications for Alfred Health but am a growing yogi. I've started studies just recently so I spend some time at my yoga studio as well as studying at home. Weekends, I'm pretty social - I love coffee & cake dates the most (not a wine type of gal but it's ok once in a while :)). Love travel, art, foreign films, philosophy, friends.. cooking! Even though they are super cute, I can't live with pets as I am allergic... I'm searching for a room in a welcoming house, preferably with one female roommate.. Thanks, looking forward to connecting :)!
Hello! I'm Dani, a 23 year old Australian female who is looking for a share house to call home for 6 months–1 year. I have good rental history :) I am just about to finish my Masters of Communication Design, I freelance and I work part time at coles, which means I will be looking for new full time work over the holidays and into the next year. I am looking for friendly people who love to learn, laugh and explore. I like listening to podcasts, enjoying film, art, music, going out for a dance, and general banter. I am progressive, LBGTI friendly and come with one extremely cute cat, called Ned. Looking forward to meeting you?!?!?
Hello all, I have 1 room available in a spacious 2 bedroom apartment in St Kilda East, sitting right behind Carlisle St and all its cafes, bars and shops. Just a few minutes away from Balaclava Station and the next suburb over from St Kilda, minus all the noise and chaos. The apartment is on the second/top floor of a small complex, with a balcony off the open plan kitchen and lounge room that looks into the central leafy courtyard. The room available has a built in wardrobe and is currently unfurnished, but fits a queen sized bed. There is also lockable garage available and the block has good security and is maintained on a weekly basis. Also, I have just adopted a cat (Matilda) who enjoys food (a lot!), sitting on the window sill watching possums & sleeping (a lot!), so unfortunately are unable to accommodate any additional pets.
Hey :) 25 YO; GERMAN; TIDY; FUNNY; EXCHANGE STUDENT; DEAKIN UNIVERSITY My name is Yannik and I am a 25-year-old exchange student at Deakin University. After finishing school in 2011 I moved to Münster in a flatshare with two other people and started to study business. But to be honest I don’t see myself as a typical “finance business suited management person” and maybe this is why a friend I get to know in Sydney asked me, if I would really study business? :D During my Bachelor degree I did a semester abroad in San Diego, USA. I spent most of the time with my four roommates. This time was one of my best in my life and this is why I decided to do another semester abroad later on during my Master studies. After finishing my Bachelor studies I did a gap year, moved to Munich and did an internship at the Walt Disney Company for 6 months. After that I travelled through Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia and Indonesia for 3 months. Then I started my Master studies with the major in Marketing in October 2015 that I will continue after this semester abroad in April 2017. Besides I would describe myself as an open-minded person. Traveling really helps to think outside the box! and I think I am an over-average tidy person. I don’t really like chaos. I am really interested in sports in general, but especially in football. I am a fan of Borussia Dortmund, so maybe you have heard about the “Yellow Wall” ;). I also have played football at the football club in my hometown, but I also like playing volleyball, basketball and tennis and I try to go skiing once a year in the Alpes. The last 6 months I did CrossFit. Furthermore I am into tv series and movies (e.g. Breaking Bad, House of Cards, Walking Dead…). I watch a lot of Tv series with my flatmates. Last time we finished GoT the second time ;) I also like having a few beers with friends and mostly we go clubbing once a week. Last but not least I am not someone who locks himself in his room. My room door is always open and I don’t know why but in every flat I have lived in, my room evolved into a second living room :D I want to stay in Melbourne for four months (end of February). I would love to hear from you :) Cheers! Or Prost (German)! Yannik
*Looking for 2 separate rooms* Hi guys! My sister and I are looking for a place to move into at the start of November (can move sooner). Budget is up to 220/week each. Ideally the rooms will be furnished. Looking at east/inner east/bayside basically anywhere from Richmond through to Caulfield. Close to the Frankston train line would be ideal (Richmond, Armadale, Caulfield North, Prahran, South Yarra, Malvern, etc) We're easy-going, very clean, social and both enjoy a bit of adventure! Would love to move into a young professional and social household, respectful of others space but keen to hang out here and there. I'm 24, work full time in Sales and am starting a digital agency on the side so will be working long hours 5-6 days a week. I'm into the gym, eating healthy, reading and love to chat some shit over a few drinks on the weekends. My sister is 20, works as a hotel reception supervisor, she's super friendly and social and likes to cook. Also enjoys a wine and a laugh. A cheeky bonus to living with us is that we have a holiday home in Phillip Island we love to stay at, which is obviously awesome during Summer and you'll be more than welcome to join! Look forward to hearing from you!
Room to rent available in a 2 bedroom flat - room available is the smaller room, BIR and plenty of storage in the hallway. Shared 3-way bathroom, separate toilet, laundry room and extra sink. Hey Melbourne, we’re looking to fill a large bedroom here in St.Kilda East. begining 1st of November. Sharing with two friendly late-twenties, down-to-earch and most importantly house-trained guys. The Room: Open and big spacious room. Hardwood floors (if you’re into those things) with a window facade facing onto the street (don’t worry there’s curtains). One full wall of shelves - look at the photos and you’ll see what you mean, lets you be creative with your storage. Nice modern kitchen with everything you need and plenty of bench space. Plus the house has heating for summer months. Big open living room - plenty of room for activities - watching TV, dining etc. Plus heating. The bathroom is a tad dated but has a good strong shower - essential. Have I mentioned the house has heating yet. Bonus: the house has a deep backyard for running around or just soaking the sun - and is pet friendly even includes a doggie/cat door. Plus an open courtyard perfect for the summer months. The Location: Great Location (they all say that) - 10 mins walk to balaclava station plus 2 minute walk to 3a/3 and 16 tram lines - so it’s pretty easy to get into the city. Close to all the restaurants, brunch joints, Woolys/Coles and even a few bars on Carlisle Street. Plus we’re close to St.Kilda Beaches for brunches and windsor/Prahan for shopping. A few nice bonuses of course are internet($20 a month) and netflix(don’t worry about it), on street parking (very safe quiet street - never struggle to get a park) plus if you’re a pet person you’re furry friend is more than welcome. Please get in touch, hope to do some viewings this weekend. Look forward to hearing from you.
I am a fun but sensible guy in Australia for a year, looking for a room in a place I can call home for the next 3 months. I am very tidy and considerate of the property and other housemates, but also social and like to chat watching tv in the evenings. I like to hang out with friends and enjoy a drink but would not abuse this at the property. I look forward to hearing from you!
Hey all, I'm looking for a room for me +1 quiet and friendly, mature, housetrained cat named Charlie. I work 5 days/week in hospitality, until I go back to uni full time (+ work part time) for a year to finish my degree. On my days off I generally like to get outdoors if the weather is good and am looking forward to getting some beach days in this summer, (if/when it actually arrives in Melbs). Like to enjoy food and drink and chats with my housemates, but equally enjoy my down time and respect others' need for the same. I'm clean and tidy, especially when it comes to communal spaces. Eat mostly vegetarian, but not wigged out by food of any kind. I’m good for paying rent/bills on time, am not touchy about discussing stuff house-related, very into openness and communication. Am well-trained in house-sharing, and don’t possess any sexist, racist, LGBTI-phobic views/sentiments. Can pay a pet bond, 420-friendly. Come with a bunch of plants and make kombucha regularly. Also looking for new house share start-ups! Feel free to fire any questions my way :)
Hello! I'm usually a happy bubbly person and i think I'm easy to get along with. I'm always up for a chat and a Savvy B :) I'm considerate of other housemates regarding noise and sleeping. I'm clean in the areas that count. Not much of a cook but give it a go! I am pretty good at baking though :) Looking for a social house. I enjoy reading, drawing, sewing, sleeping, socialising with friends and family, i go away every couple of weeks to see family in the country, and i am trying to get back into fitness, so i gym buddy would be awesome! Off street parking would be a bonus but not essential! Also, i am looking for an unfurnished room as i have my own bedroom furniture.
Hi, I'm looking to move into a place within St Kilda or somewhere close by with either one or two others to keep the rent down as low as possible. Currently working full-time Mon-Fri and looking at taking on more work over the weekends, so i'll stay relatively busy. Easy going, chilled and don't mind a beer or two when able, I keep my gear tidy but am not an OCD weirdo! Anyway if you want to chat feel free to call anytime. Cheers!
Hi! We have a room available in our two bedroom flat. It is in a great location, with a tram stop right outside with lines 5 and 64 going straight into the city. We have WIFI, a fridge/freezer, washing machine, dryer, all cooking and eating utensils. The apartment is fully furnished and has everything you need to move straight in. The second bedroom has built in wardrobes, there is no bed but we are happy to purchase one for the room for the right person if they require one. We also have a kitten which lives in the apartment and is purely an indoor kitten. We like to keep the apartment clean and tidy when possible and a place where we can relax and unwind. We don't like having lots of people over or using the apartment for parties. The building is also very quiet.
I'm fun and easy going 30 year old, get along with everyone and am good company! This is my second year in Australia on a working holiday visa and I'm planning on staying in Melbourne at least until February. I work a lot and on my free time enjoy outdoors, yoga and sports, quiet movie nights at home as well as the occasional crazy night out.
Hey, I'm a recently single gay 23 man. I work full time in Arts Administration at State Library Victoria. I like to keep very busy with hobbies and activities, as a result I'm not home too often and do not make much mess or take up space in the house. I'm often doing things like performing in amateur musical theatre, writing music and swimming for fitness, and I like to see live theatre as much as I can. I love to cook and like to be a host. I love small low-key get togethers with a few of my closest friends. I know I'm pretty young but I'm very mature for my age. Most of my friends are in their 30s. I'm fun and outgoing but very polite and respectful. I like to meet new people so send me a message :)
