Hi :) Looking for nice cosy place with some super chill housemates in Prahran, Windsor, St Kilda East, Richmond kinda area! I work in a club in the city so I work late nights, I've just had a break from study but am going to start my bachelor of languages again next sem. I'm super social, like to party, travel, read, not super domesticated but keep tidy and make mean bacon and eggs. I'm looking for a home that is relatively quiet after my current place which is a big party house. Non cigarette smoker but fine if you are. Looking to move anytime in the next couple months, super flexible! Eddy x
This newly renovated apartment is on the top floor of the building (2 storey walk-up) and is at the back of the block which makes the apartment very quiet and gives a lot of privacy. The building has a secure intercom/entry system for security. The apartment has unlimited ADSL2+ internet installed which we pay for half each (this is included in the rent as well as Netflix/ Apple TV). Utility bills are divided, half each. The apartment is fully furnished including the room available. There is a queen bed, mattress, side table and 8-cubed display unit (if you would like it). The room has built-in wardrobes, hard wooden flooring and a large glass sliding window (with security screen), which looks out to beautiful tree tops. The room is available on 13 May 2017 or 1 June 2017 I am looking for full-time professionals, preferably in their mid-twenty's to mid-thirty's to share the apartment with. Someone who is reasonably quiet during the week and wont bring the whole party back on weekends. Of course I like to have fun but this isn't a party apartment. I'm social, and enjoy a chat (over a lovely glass of wine), but I really value my down time as well. Im very respectful of people's privacy and personal space. No students or couples please.
I recently finished my commerce degree and currently doing uber. I'm an easy-going guy who respects the need for quiet and space but I also enjoy having drinks, movie nights etc together as well. I love music and like playing guitar and messing around in ableton. I like working out and cooking the occasional feast as well. Cheers :)

Beautiful and spacious home located around the corner from the Hotham St and Dandenong Rd intersection in St Kilda East. The house has lots of cool features including solar panels, ducted heating to keep you nice and toasty, water tanks, (somewhat) polished floorboards, a digitally controlled water heater (so you can choose a bath temperature and depth and then walk away without worrying about flooding or having a too hot/ cold bath), an inside clothes-line-on-a-pulley-gadget, ceiling fans that pop out from behind the light fixtures in the bedrooms etc.. The dishwasher actually works properly (it is Miele), which is a bonus. There is a properly functioning kitchen with lots of bench space, cupboard space and a walk in pantry. The stove and oven are gas and work well. We have unlimited high speed internet, which is theoretically 100Mbps, though generally sits between 70 and 90Mbps (= fast). You are welcome to use the household Netflix account whilst living here. There are front, side and back garden spaces. Non-ornamental plants include a lime tree (Tahitian limes with makrut lime leaves grafted on), a fig tree, two small apple trees, a lemon tree, a pomegranate shrub, and herbs including Vietnamese mint, rosemary, parsley and green onion (though the herbs change). There are unutilised garden beds out the back for someone with a green thumb. There are sitting areas at the side and back, as well as a trampoline for when you don't feel like sitting. This probably makes the property sound larger than it actually is. The garden and outside areas are fairly space efficient. A quick online search of the house lists that the the land size is 263 m², and building area is 134 m². There are trams, a bus, local shops and a 7/11 on the corner of Hotham St and Dandenong Rd (between 3 and 8 minutes walk away depending on which corner you are trying to get to and how fast you are at walking). The tram takes 22 minutes to get to Flinders St station. Windsor station is around 10 minutes walk, which takes 10 to 15 minutes to Flinders St Station as well. There is a bus at the end of the street that goes to Footscray for all your Banh Mi and Pho needs. Coles and Woolworths Balaclava (and the rest of the Carlisle St dining and shopping strip) are about 15 minutes walk away, and Aldi is about 20 minutes walk. There is free on street parking, though it is not reserved. This house is genuinely my favourite place that I have lived, and it is likely that you will love it too. Room details: The room has a ceiling fan that pops out from behind the lighting fixture, with both the fan and light able to be controlled from a remote control. There is ducted heating for the winter months too. There is a massive amount of cupboard space, which I will be thoroughly impressed (or possibly disgusted) if you are able to fill. The large window looks out onto the side garden, though you will have unfortunately missed the blossom season. My current flatmate has a queen bed, a work desk with desktop computer, an extra chair, an electronic drum set with a stool, a rowing machine (in storage mode) and a few sets of drawers in the room and there is still walking space around the bed.
Looking for a room, ideally by this Sunday (30th). Will consider anywhere in fairly inner Melbourne, but prefer Prahran, Windsor, Balaclava etc area. Ideally between 150-250pw rent, can stretch slightly for a great place. As for me, I'm 21yo, work close to full time in a cafe and spend the rest of my time with friends or trying to come up with music (have headphones and all that, will not disturb) Love to cook an epic dinner once or twice a week. I'm reasonably quiet but get along really well with most people. Have been living in share houses for three years, so am very aware of how it works. Don't smoke cigarettes, don't drink much at all, but will enjoy a big night once a month or so. That's about it. If anyone feels I could be a suitable housemate, please let me know. Thanks!!
Young professional, moved to Melbourne last year for work and am pretty much in love with the place. Have just started at a new agency in Collingwood and figured it was time to move somewhere more long-term now that I'm a bit more settled. Looking for a place where it's more of a home than a just a house and everyone can hang/have beers/wine/dinner when it suits (but obviously within reason, personal space is pretty amazing too). I'm tidy, friendly and am a pretty good cook. I like music, gym and going out on weekends and occasional after-work drinks/gigs etc, but generally like to keep it quieter during the week due to the whole career thing. If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, get in touch. Cheers :)

I'm a really easy going, down to earth person looking for somewhere to live while I am completing my Bach of Nursing and working as a nanny. I am a respectful housemate who understands that a balance between alone time and roommate fun is necessary for a harmonious, happy house! I would love a room in a house with some other like minded individuals who I can share a wine with from time to time and have a laugh at the end of a long day!
Hi, I am Pepijn (Pep or Pippen to make it easy), Dutch guy and arrived in December in Melbourne, lived here for 3 months in a share house. I am looking for a place to stay for 6-8 months. I am a easy going, no drama person, who is working in hospitality, basically as a barista but doing other stuff as well. I do fancy a party but won't do it every night. But I enjoy to have a drink and a chat in the evening till late. Love to go out for a coffee/brunch or hanging out in the park. I love to see some sports or a good movie. And I try to go for a run 1-3 times a week. When I find a place to live I am thinking of starting to play rugby again. I want to create a home as I am overseas. Why you want to live with me, I'll prep you some good meals, I am social but won't jump into your personal space. And actually I am always in for some cool things to do or just chill out.

Hi everyone!! I am an Italian student who's currently undertaking a Master of Design at Monash Uni - Caulfield Campus for the 1st semester. I'm really respectful, clean and tidy and I do respect privacy. I had been working as an aupair in Sydney for 6 months so I do not mind cleaning or cooking. I am a really outgoing and openminded person: I like to socialize, have fun, go out for a drink or for a live concert. I love any field of art and I am always excited for organizing trips during the weekend. Although I am still focused on studying, I really want to take the chance to explore Melbourne and Australia. I need a private room from the 10th of May till the end of July. Contact me on 0416045430 :)

G'day all, we have a large bedroom available in a spacious three bedroom house in St Kilda East. The location of the place is a real highlight, being very close to Ripponlea Train Station as well as Carlisle Street and the various services around these two hubs. The house itself is very large, with generous front and back yards; separate living and dining areas; newly renovated bathroom; high ceilings; and off-site car parking at the rear or plenty of opportunities also on street. House comes fully furnished aside from the room on offer, with enough room for additional furniture in each of the shared areas.
