Hello there! We are a lovely couple looking for a beautiful entire place to stay for six months (1 bedroom apartment). We love meet people and be relax in our place, we want a place to call it home. Super responsible and easygoing people.
NB: Willing to move out from the start of June if necessary, but closer to the 21st is preferable. This place is absolutely stunning - hardwood floors, filled with light, spacious kitchen, two huge verandas, and a pool to cool off in out back (a godsend during the Queensland summer). Your future room has a built-in wardrobe and is big enough that I have a queen bed, small desk, side table, lil shelves, and still have just enough floor space to dance around like an idiot... if that's your thing. There are 2 1/2 bathrooms - one full bathroom (shower/toilet), one separate toilet, and one with shower/bath/linen closet. Rent is $150/wk, paid fortnightly. Rent includes water bills, pool & garden maintenance. Internet + Foxtel, and electricity are paid separately - average out to about $10 a week all up. There's room for one car at the top of the driveway - currently occupied by me so will be all yours if needed (other housemates don't have a vehicle). Street parking is also available as it's a quiet street.
The house is really modern and fully furnished (apart from your room). Your room is bright, has heaps of cupboard space and you would be sharing the bathroom with two other girls. All bills are paid quarterly, apart from the internet which is paid monthly. Public transport is easily accessible with a bus to the city 50m from the house and Toowong and Indooroopilly Shopping centres are a 10 minutes drive, everything is very central. The house is available mid to end of June - the move in date is flexible.
Room is available from 25th of June till 25th of July. Around 20 minutes by bus to the city and 15-20 minutes by walk to the University of Queensland - ideal for new coming students, arriving before the beginning of semester and searching for the permanent accommodation.
Hey future housemate!!! Looking for somewhere July 20-ish, message me if you think we could be friends! I study science at UQ, in first year and moved from North QLD. I'm looking for somewhere to live from July until the end of the year. I want to choose somewhere that's not only a place to live but with people I can get along with! I'm fairly social, although I'm at uni all day every day, and usually doing something on weekends. Always up for a chat or some drinks though! I would consider myself mature, and I can't deal with mess so you don't have to worry me leaving the kitchen dirty ahaha. I'm looking for somewhere reasonably priced (max $200/week) will bills included. I think I'd get along best with people my age who are studying or in the same situation! Feel free to message me if you think I could get along with you and your housemates!!

I am a quiet responsible and respectful student who likes to read and write in my spare time. I would like to find a home that is shared with a group of mature aged people. I like to come home make food and to have space... I don't mind socializing when I arrive home but I am more interested in finding people who acknowledge that I need to have space while I am trying to finish off my studies. If I sound like someone who you would consider as a roommate. I will be able to move in by the 16th of June.

Studying at QUT on exchange from the US from July to November. Computer Science major, like to go out, very social, listen to music 24/7. Like to keep clean but not overly OCD about it. Hobbies include golf, boxing, lacrosse, gaming, hiking, going out, and anything along the lines of that. Looking mostly for other students but that's not a massive concern, just a bonus.
The room is furnished with a big cupboard, a shelf, table, chair and bed. There are 4 other housemates who stay there at the moment and they are all UQ students and lovely people. There is an IGA right across the road and easy access to various buses such as the 428, 412 and 411 etc. It is a 5 min walk to UQ and there are heaps of places to eat (Thai, Indian, Bakery, Vietnamese, Kebab place, coffee shop, Fish and Chips, Korean, Sushi, Breakfast area) around Hawken Drive.
The house is a three story unit and in a great location, a 15 minute walk from UQ and on the same street as a bus stop along with dominos, nandos and a small convenience store. It has been newly renovated and has a dishwasher, a washing machine and dryer, air conditioning, and new ceiling fans in all of the bedrooms. The house is fully furnished and has all necessary white goods.
Large apartment and room with river views close to UQ and Toowong Village. The room available has a built in wardrobe and can easily fit a queen size bed. You will be living with two other roommates, both who work full time.... We are both 24 years old. As we both work full time, we keep a low profile during the weekdays....but come Friday. We are both keen on getting a roommate who is fun, enjoys a beer and chat. Preferences: - Over 21; - works full time or later years of uni; - not socially retarded; - clean; and - tolerant of poor quality banter.
The apartment is super modern and clean and fully furnished. Your room has an ensuite bathroom and built-in mirrored wardrobe and King size bed/bedside tables included. The furniture in the pictures is slightly different to what we have but the bedroom pictured is the master bedroom and ensuite, which is what you will be renting. Internet is $20 per month and all other bills are paid quarterly. Our place is amazing for public transport with a bus stop literally 30 meters from our doorstep! We are within walking distance to UQ and Toowong Shopping Centre is less than a 5 min drive, so its super central to everything.
I'm Eduardo, PhD student in UQ. I hope to share some time with the housemates mostly in weekends. I am not the type of person that stays too long in the house more than for sleeping hahaha. I cook mostly basic stuff but sometimes I adventure into something more complex. I mostly use the room only for sleeping so I typically use the shared spaces of the houses for reading or do stuff in the computer. For the house, I am looking for something preferably at a walking distance to UQ (max 40 min walking). I stated $180 at max but up to $200 is acceptable if the property/housemates are really good. I prefer to stay with no more than 4 housemates at a time.
We a lovely big room in St Lucia just close to the University of Queensland Campus. -The big room comes fully furnished and equipped with a reading desk and reading lamp. Brand new bed linen. It is $175 per week (plus 3 weeks bond). including unlimited Internet. Electricity not included but paid separately. This is a cosey and homely cottage style house with lots of character. There's a comfy day bed out on the balcony. All kitchen appliances included.
We're looking for a cool cat! If you're a student at UQ who wants a convenient and relaxed home environment, this could be perfect for you. The house comes fully furnished and you get access to shared appliances in the kitchen like a food processor, blender, popcorn machine and more. We've got an electric stove and the kitchen is quite spacious - so perfect for who anyone who enjoys cooking or who does not have a lot of furniture to add to the common areas. The bedroom comes with a queen-sized mattress. I'm happy to leave my Ikea bedframe and desk for a small cost if you want to save yourself some time. If you'd like to arrange your own, I can take them with me. It's an under 5 minute walk to campus so perfect for any student at the University of Queensland. We are also very close to direct buses to the city, Indooroopilly and Toowong. Hawken Village is a 5 minute walk away where you can find a lot of food options. We've got a free parking spot if you own a car and a garage to store your bike or bulky items. Send me a message if you're interested! The room will be empty by June 10th. I'm looking for someone to take over my lease that runs until the end of the year :)
My name is Cheyenne, I'm a Canadian/Australian Registered Nurse working full-time. Easy going but still reliable and tidy. I enjoy going outdoors for adventures and am partial to a few drinks on the weekend. I am looking for a place where I can bring my 5 year old male Golden retriever Leroy. He's a super calm de-sexed dog who just loves people and is used to roaming in and out of the house. I leave him happily in the backyard (fenced yard required) when I'm at work but he likes to hang out inside when I'm home. He's not a barker/doesn't have any bad behaviors! So I'm in need of some dog loving house mates! I also have two cars so am in need of a place with lots of off street/street parking! Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions :) Cheers, Cheyenne
I am respectful of other people and a tidy person. I get on well with people and am happy to chip in around the house. I'm super laid back and I study biotechnology at UQ (second year), I also work part-time at Priceline Pharmacy in the city.
I am a french engineer student (22yo) and I do an internship at UQ! I can move on tour flat when you want because I just arrived from France. I’m an easy going person and I am looking for a place to share a good experience! I am very tidy and I like cooking. I am often outside because I love sports and explore new places.
