About the Location! Room for rent in a two bedroom apartment in St Lucia. The apartment is located on Mitre Street and is extremely close to UQ St Lucia campus (only 700m away). Public transport is at your doorstep, with the bus stop for the 412 City Buz only 150m down the road and the City Cat terminal 400m away. The apartment complex is clean, well maintained and secure. There is ample on-street parking and numerous restaurants (Thai, Nandos, Indian, Bakery) and a corner store just down the street. Only a 5 minute bus ride to Toowong Shopping Village. About the Apartment! The apartment is fully furnished with a fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, washing machine and dryer. You are welcome to use all appliances and kitchenware, no need to bring anything. Your room is also fully furnished with a double bed (donna and pillows included), bedside table and lamp, rug, desk and chair, book case and a built in wardrobe. Bedroom furnishings can be negotiable if you have your own things you would like to bring. You will have your own bathroom as the laundry is separate. This room is available to couples and the rent is $425 a week and will be split equally between the three of us ($140 each). The only bills are internet and electricity, paid monthly and are roughly $50/month each.

Private ensuite with separate entrance in a very spacious 3-storey townhouse. The ensuite is situated on the ground floor of our house and our common living area and kitchen are on the 1st floor. The 2nd floor is our private living space. All bills (internet, electricity, etc.) are included in the rent of this ensuite (room plus own bathroom). As mentioned above our ensuite has its own entrance and direct access to our beautiful yard, veggie garden and swimming pool. Pets are not permitted in this complex. The room is fully furnished with a queen sized bed (BYO mattress), lights, shelves and a wardrobe. Short facts: 14 mins. ferry to the CBD 15 mins. walk to UQ; 10 mins. train to city center 2 mins. to Guyatt Park and Brisbane River; 20 mins. walk to Toowong Mall. The infrastructure around here is really good, as we are close to UQ, Toowong Mall, various bus stops, a ferry terminal, Guyatt Park and Brisbane River.
I'm very social (but know how to respect boundaries and personal space) and would love to develop a good relationship with any flatmates! I think of myself as quite easy going, but I think the main factor here is that I AM VERY CLEAN. Working well together is a major plus. As someone who is a recent high school graduate and is moving out for the first time, I know this is a completely new way of life for me and am willing to adapt too!

I'm a new full-time student from Dubai starting at UQ in Semester 1, 2017. I will be studying Environmental Management. I was studying in the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign before.
