Hi, I’m Marc—mid-50s, currently studying game development at TAFE, and looking for a home that’s relaxed, respectful, and easy to live in.
I’m a fairly social person and enjoy chatting in the kitchen or having a spontaneous hangout, but I’m also fine doing my own thing when the house is more independent. I’ve lived in various setups, and I’m happy to adapt to what works best for the people I’m with.
Most of my downtime goes into study, assignments, or getting stuck into YouTube—usually design videos, music reactions, or whatever philosophical rabbit hole I’ve fallen down that week. I’ve got a curious brain, many interests, and always time for a thoughtful conversation if one’s going.
I keep things pretty tidy—definitely a clean-as-you-go person—and I like shared spaces to feel calm and comfortable. No pets of my own, but I’m absolutely fine living with them. Neurodivergent, for what it’s worth, so I tend to be fairly self-aware and respectful of other people’s space, routines, and needs.
I get on best with housemates who are kind, dependable, and not afraid of honest communication. If something comes up, I’d rather chat it through and find a fair solution than let things stew. There is no drama, just shared effort and mutual respect.
