I'm very friendly and quiet, currently studying my diploma in early childhood education while working full time hours as a trainee. I'm saving for my next big trip so I don't go out drinking much but don't mind a drink with good company once in a while :)
A lovely open plan modern house with a large peaceful courtyard. Sharing with one other. One minute stroll to all of Seddon cafes, restaurants and three minute stroll to the train. The room is furnished and has large built ins. Seddon is 10 minutes by train to southern cross train station. All bills incl (gas, elec, water, NBN).
Hi Guys! My names Jade, I'm 25, and work full time as a interior architect. Looking for somewhere chilled and relaxed, people that are house trained. Generally pretty quiet as I'm working fulltime but I'm up for some drinks / dinners on the weekends.
I work full time and also study so I'm very busy! I'm pretty quiet and keep to myself, but also enjoy the occasional social gathering. I like to think I'm a very tidy and respectful housemate, I value my personal space and the space of others.
Hi there! My name is Hannah, I am a 24 year old health professional looking for a house to share! I am outgoing, clean, considerate and love to have a laugh. Ideally, I'd be looking for more of a social household ie, not just a home where people hide in their rooms and pretend the others don't exist... whilst my work keeps me busy, I do enjoy having a friendly house to come home to. Please feel free to ask any questions! I am flexible with move in date. ;)
Hi there, I'm a 22 year old hard working professional in Port Melbourne. I work in the events team for Variety the Children's Charity; I love my job. I'm a really friendly, no drama and honest person. I love to socialise with friends, go out for brunch, but also thoroughly enjoy staying indoors watching TV, reading a book or just relaxing. I am currently living by myself in Frankston and am looking to move to the inner city area closer to work; the daily commute is killing me! Please message me if you'd be interested in getting to know more. Cheers, Hannah
So bit about me, I was born overseas. Have been living in Melb for over 10 years and it's home. Work full time in the corporate world. Love to explore pubs, cafes, go on road trips, travelling. Pretty easy to live with.
Hi I'm Ebony. I'm 31 marketing manager from Melbourne. Consider myself to be a tidy, respectful and honest housemate who is looking for similar. Great renting history with references. I have a 9 year old Maltese Shiatsu named Baxter who is completely house trained and loves people. Enjoy tv, wine, cooking, beach, music and the outdoors. I'm positive, approachable and mature individual who loves a good time and a laugh on weekends.
Helllo potential house mates :) My name is Juliette and I am from France. I grew up in China and then moved here for uni 3 years ago. I really like it here even though the weather is crazy. I am friendly, clean, pretty tidy, I like to cook for people, I am up for adventures (the beach, parks, drives, gigs, veggie bbq) but I also do like my alone time. I'm hoping to find a sharehouse with a bit of a family feel <3 I am studying full time at VU and I also have a casual job in a furniture shop in east Richmond. For fun I: write songs/sing, read, go on city trips, go to the beach, pet cats. Looking to move sometime in November
I'm low maintenance, easy going, clean, funny and good looking. I work for the government in the CBD and I enjoy sports, a few drinks and travel.
Hi All, I'm Andrew, A 29 year old Disability Support worker. I value friendly, courteous, mature people who are proactive in self development and considering others and the environment around them. I am very house proud and reflect this within my ideals of cleanliness, which is centred around the idea that we clean up after ourselves in communal areas after use and maintain our home and furnishings to a high standard to reflect how proud we are of our home. Living within the home I respect my fellow housemates by doing my best not to disturb them while sleeping or relaxing. I enjoy time together in communal areas equal to that of my time to myself in my room, whether it be sharing dinner together, playing a boardgame or simply having a chat while we occupy the same space. I enjoy sharing the good and bad parts of our days and offering eachother inside from a third person perspective. I'm looking to start a home home with people who are like minded and encapsulate the above. My hobbies within our home would be playing video games, cooking, gardening, completing handyman task, the occasional dinner party or board games and relaxing on my bed. My leisure pursuits outside the home usually consist of Cultural events, visiting friends to play video games or watch movies/tv shows, lasertag, assisting friends with renovations, camping, going to the beach and a range of other random activities. My work as a Disability and Aged Care Support Worker sees me working weekdays and weekends assisting people to develop and maintain a value of life they aim to achieve. This involves me cooking or cleaning for people, assisting them to access the community or teaching them skills to live their lives as independently as possible. I have all the basic furniture and appliances to furnish a house. This includes an l-shaped grey couch, a hexagon shaped table, rugs, a large one door fridge, upright freezer, large front loader washing machine, tv and more. Most of these are only a year old. Thank you for reading my profile and feel free to send me mail if you think we reflect similar values and could create a great home together.
My house in Seddon has one room free from October 28th, and another free from November 12th. The house is only minutes walk from Footscray, and Seddon shops. Both rooms are a fairly decent size, with a built in wardrobe. The rent is $680 per month,$33 for NBN internet and others bills as they come. Bond is $620. There is a lounge/kitchen, 1 bathroom, laundry and a front driveway, with the CDB about 10 - 20 mins away by train. The house has some furniture, but there is space if you have your own.
I am a friendly and caring 26 year old female professional moving from Sydney to Melbourne for a new job in the edutech sector around the 4th of November. I taught as a high school teacher for three years, and am currently working in an education not for profit. Although I will be out of the house often for work and play, I am seeking a friendly environment where I can relax after work, interact with housemate/s, and have some down time. I enjoy cooking so am seeking a place where occasional meals with friends and housemate/s is the norm. I have a good rental record lasting 4 years. During this time I have always kept my spaces clean and tidy, and equally contributed to the upkeep of communal areas. The perfect space for me would be within a 5 to 30 minute commute to my new work address in Fitzroy with one or two fellow housemates. I am also open to alternative arrangements. I’m in Melbourne this coming weekend (21st and 22nd October 2017) and keen to meet up with potential housemates. Please let me know if you are interested in applying for a place together or have a room that needs filling?
I'm 39, very young at heart, quiet and respectful. I'm well versed in sharehouse etiquette and while I can be a bit of an introvert I'm also happy for a chat over a cup of coffee or dinner. I'm currently working part time as a bartender, so nights generally, and study Counselling in the CBD. When home I can be found doing homework, cooking, playing the occasional video game or watching one of few shows I'm into. On my days off, particularly in the summer months I like to get to the water, SCUBA diving is my one main passion. Though I am prone to a little organised chaos in my own space I am mindful about keeping communal areas clean and tidy. I'm super keen to check out your room and, assuming you like what you've read, are contactableIf not, all the very best on your hunt, may the force be with you 😊
Hello! I'm Jol, a 24yo Graphic Designer working full time at a Digital Marketing Agency. I love all things creative and in my spare time I cook, visit markets, Netflix binge and often working on various photography projects. I am well house trained, clean, quiet yet sociable and always conscious of communal areas. All in all I'm looking for not just a shared house, but a home, and ready to move within 2 weeks of notice. Somewhere clean, quiet, safe and with like minded people. Possibly a home that is environmentally conscious, and maybe with a nice herb and veggie garden to tend to - though not essential. Bad puns guaranteed!
Friendly introverted human and charming extroverted cat seek quiet-ish, grown-up sharing situation. I work part-time as a vet nurse and study full-time. I'm into baking, craft, podcasts, books, singing, meandering walks, art, music and travel. I'm a thoughtful and warm-hearted soul and get along well with most people. I'm LGBTQI friendly and always working to build empathy for others. Dora is 2 years old, has only three legs, and lives indoors with regular jaunts in an outdoor enclosure. She's friendly, playful, tidy and not at all aggressive. She's into watching birds, chasing balls, stealing post-its & ear plugs and lap-sitting at inconvenient times. I'd love to live with one or two interesting, friendly souls who are up for kitchen table chats/drinks out/movies at home sometimes, but who have their own lives. A homely home, not a party house. In the dream dream scenario, this house would have a fab kitchen and be well insulated and perhaps even heated and/or cooled, but...we all know Melbourne rentals!
Hi there! My name is Gwen and I'm a 23 year old student looking for a place to live in the inner Western suburbs. I'm a relatively social person and a little bit of a night owl, but I'm also mindful of others schedules and tend to be quiet in the late hours (headphones exist for a reason). I'm studying Professional and Creative Writing at Deakin University, so I hope to get an internship in the next coming months while also working on my blog. While I don't have any of my own to bring with me, I adore animals and their presence in the home. I'm an adequate cook, but I must admit my strength lies in baking and cleaning up after the cooking. I tend to bake as gifts for friends and always make more than enough cookies/scones/whatever I was craving at the time for myself and others I'm living with. If you've got a request/dietary requirement, I'd be happy to try it out in my recipes. Routine is important for a clear mind, so it's vital that cleaning, keeping tidy and doing my own chores is a consistent weekly schedule, although I'm happy to compromise depending on others work hours. I don't mind the occasional glass of red as well as the odd night out, but of a general evening, you can find me typing away on my laptop or binging on Netflix.
A couple who are both nurses looking to share a home with another couple. We have furnitures and appliances. As much as we would like to be living harmonously and be getting along with our housemates, we also would like to have a home we can recuperate from our busy schedules. We both enjoy meal prepping and generally want to sustain a healthy lifestyle. So, we only use the kitchen once a week for a couple of hours! 😊 We also highly value cleanliness and tidyness. Super conscious of keeping the house tidy (most especially the kitchen area) We expect to clean up after ourselves as we go through our daily grind and keep utensils clean after usage. We do not like clutter and mess. We also would like to bring my current cleaner into working in our home weekly. So, general cleaning will be off your duty list.
*All Bills/Unlimited Fastest NBN included* Dear World, One of our housemates has departed for an extended overseas adventure which leaves us with a vacant room in our lovely Seddon home. Super convenient location. 1-minute walk from the train station which is then a 10-minute train ride to the city. 4-minute walk to local Supermarket and Cafes. It's also only a short walk to Footscray and the awesome Reverence Hotel which has bands playing most nights and a killer vegan friendly menu. Huge backyard with a clothes line, BBQ (veg only), NBN Super Fast WiFi, Gas Kitchen, Microwave, Coffee machine, TV, Record Player, Dishwasher, Laundry (washing machine and dryer), Toilet, 4 walls and a roof. Bond is $860 and rent is $860 per month which includes ALL bills and UNLIMITED super fast internet! The light filled, spacious room is furnished with a queen bed (including brand new bedding) and has a chest of drawers and clothes hangers. We're two 32 year old mates, both non-meat eaters and work full time at cafes in the city so are up pretty early. We're friendly, happy and relaxed humans who enjoy traveling, going to gigs, specialty coffee, craft beer, skating, making things grow and diving with mates. We are looking for people who are organised and respectful, who we don't need to clean up after and aren't having a million people over every night (all the normal stuff ). We're open to short-term travelers, maybe you just arrived, or are just about to leave. Someone that doesn't have carloads of stuff to put around the house. We're also open to people who are looking for a peaceful, happy home to call their own. If you are vegetarian that is a massive plus. Oh, and the third housemate is a chilled, shy, independent outdoor cat who is completely outdoor toilet trained (no stinking kitty litter anywhere in the house!). Unfortunately, this means we can't accept any more pets in the house. Basically, the house is a peaceful and tidy home, so all the obvious requirements for a good housemate are essential. No stoners/caners/drunks, no crazies, no messies, no bathroom dominators and no TV/Video game bandits. To save everyone some time, we'd like to know some more about you. So please fill out the convenient questionnaire below and we'll let you know if it's possible for you to come over and check it out. My name is: and I come from: I'm __ years old, and work/study as a __, about __ hours per week. In the morning, I need the bathroom at about __ oclock. I do/don't have a car that I will need a parking space for. Ideally, I would like to stay with you for about __ months. We look forward to hearing from you! Cheers, Mike and Justin

I'm really tidy and I love cooking. I'm studying fine arts at VCA so I'm not home a lot during the day but love hanging out and having a beer at home after uni. I'm looking to move in mid to late November although, I can be somewhat flexible if it's the right place.
