Hello! I am moving out and looking for a replacement. Rent is $710 pcm not including bills. Bills and internet are all split evenly. The ideal candidate is someone looking to move in very soon as the room is available from the 23/08 on Friday. Very convenient location, 8 minute walk to the train station and lots of shops/restaurants in Seddon right outside your door. Feel free to call and have a chat with me about the house if you have any questions. Move in date and furniture are also flexible so get in early!
Hey I'm Tom. Generic note that I am a respectful, clean, mostly vegetarian, very chill person who has been living out of home for ages. I am 26, enjoy basketball, rock climbing and other sporty/fun stuff. I am studying nursing full time and work as a removalist four days a week. Looking for somewhere I can settle into long term that is affordable and a little closer to uni and work than where I currently am. Any further questions please let me know! Cheers, Tom
10 minutes by train to the centre of Melbourne! Excellent for commuting or visiting the city. A medium sized 3 bedroom house in Seddon. Features super fast internet, warm living area with comfy couch and dining table. Kitchen has large breakfast bench in the middle with 4 stools. Tiled kitchen and dining area, carpeted rooms. Laundry, bicycle parking and medium-sized backyard at the rear. We are a short 7 minute walk from Seddon train station. The Seddon village is a hive of activity during the week and on weekends. The Sun theatre is a beautiful restored vintage movie theatre - every Monday and Tuesday you can get $11 tickets. Lots of cafes, 2 supermarkets, wine bars and pubs. Free 24 hours parking out the front of the house.
I love to converse but also do respect people's space and hope they would respect mine as well. I love to cook and enjoy a good meal after a long day of working. I'm capable of paying bills and rent on time and hope you can to! I want a house to call home and would love my rabbit to join me. I'm respectful, reliable and always on time.
This appartment has thick walls, allowing temperature and noise control (No heating bills, cooler in summer). It’s layout is also really good: if the door to the living quarters is closed we don’t hear much from the bedrooms! 👏🏻 The bedroom is spacious and bright, with a BIR and a huge window along the whole lenght of the room. The bathroom isn’t the most stylish, but does a good job, with a shower over a bathtub and strong water pressure for when we need it. The kitchen is pretty big, with loads of cupboards. The plumbing likes to serenade us from time to time 😆. The area is incredible, with tree line streets everywhere, 12min walk from 2 train lines taking you to CBD in the same amount of time, mere minutes from buses, the M1, Seddon and Yarraville villages or even the Footscray Market. FYI: there is no A/C: we open everything when the weather is cooler and use the blockout curtains when it’s hot (or cold for that matter). My ex flatmate owned the furniture in the living room & kitchen (including the fridge), so you can come with your own FYI: water bills are included, and we pay monthly from $60 to $90 for the rest (my ex housemate used an electric blanket every night in winter) excluding Internet.
I'm Ayden, I have my own business sourcing and selling Chinese tea, with a shop in North Melbourne. I spend a couple months a year in Yunnan doing nerdy tea stuff and hiking tea mountains. Obviously, my hobbies include drinking tea, reading, listening to good music (always looking for more), and trying to not think too hard about life. Partial to a little bit of video games action. I'm a mean cook, I'm clean and tidy but not anal, very open minded and easy going. Enjoy a drink or two but well and truly outgrown being a party animal. Did I mention I like weird Chinese tea? Flexible with length of stay, including 6 months or longer.
Hey friends! I am Jay, an Australian voice actor and content writer. Looking to commit to long term lease, would like to sublet for a bit to see how we all get along before committing. Mindful of others space and quiet time, enjoy socialising and also having my own quiet time - I'm all about finding that happy balance, and sharing in household responsibilities :) I don't smoke, love to share cooking, socialise, language and culture exchange, and head out into nature as much as possible. Yarra Trail and City Botanical Gardens are some of my favourite places! Have a well-behaved, desexed little cat I rescued when I used to live at Abbotsford, and happy to pay a higher bond and sign a pet contract.
Hi ! 🙂 My name is Julia. I am student at ACU Melbourne. I am also a French Teacher in Geelong on the week end and I made the choice to move to Geelong or Werribee area. I am looking for a room with my own bathroom. As I am studying and have a lot of prep’ for my work as a teacher, I need a peaceful and calm environnement to live in. I don’t mind sharing a meal, a drink or a chat but with Uni, work and trainings you won’t see me much if I am not working I am probably asleep ! During my free time I like to binge watch Netflix and roller skate
I work full-time in a senior communications role in the city. I work a combination of 9-5, weekend and evening shifts. I am a Melbourne gal, born and bred, but I've traveled the world and lived overseas. I am very clean and tidy, considerate and easy-going. I like podcasts, Netflix, a good book, and cooking. I go to the gym when I can and enjoy live music and Melbourne's various cultural offerings. Now - my pet. I have a very quiet, gentle, 6-yo female greyhound who likes to sleep 22 hours a day. Betty doesn't bark or shed fur or lick your face. She's barely even a dog. I take her for walks twice a day to do her business. I'm looking for a room big enough for me and Betty - ideally with my own bathroom. I'm happy to keep to myself but also don't mind company now and then. I'm too old for a party house. My idea of a good night in involves a nice glass of red and a true crime drama.
Hi, I'm Annie and I work in a couple of different fields. One of them is working with refugee and migrant women in Richmond 3 days per week, and also at a gorgeous plant nursery one day per week (staff discount on indoor plants, yay!). I am currently studying so usually at home one day through the week glued to a laptop. I have lived with many a housemate over the years, and am very tidy, respectful and responsible. I pay bills on time, like to keep my living space neat and tidy and like to have a warm, fun and friendly vibe in my home. I'm a pretty busy beaver and you will usually find me at a yoga class, hanging out with my beautiful family in Geelong, figuring out ways to grow and be a better human, camping or doing something out in nature, cooking up veggie meals and discovering all the awesome things Melbourne has to offer. I try to be environmentally conscious and would love to find a household with similar values.
