ROOM FOR RENT IN SUNNY SEDDON Hi there! We’re looking for a new housemate to fill a bedroom in our lovely Seddon house. The house is a bit ‘loved’ and rustic, but very homely. We are located in the heart of Seddon and is close to bars, restaurants, cafes and parks. The room is a decent size, can easily fit a desk, queen/king bed and a wardrobe, and has a window facing onto the street. The house is light filled and open planned, with decking out the back and lots of greenery surrounding the house. We have a TV, new fridge, washing machine and all the major kitchen appliances. The bond is $960.
Hi! We are a couple on the hunt for a room, house and awesome housemates to live with in 2018. Kahlia studies psychology but is having a gap year in 2018 to do some travelling before she goes on to complete her honours. Kahlia works as an education support staff for autistic children. Brigette works full time as a designer for educational organisations. As we have both had extensive experience in share-houses, we are very considerate and respectful of our housemates and each other's differing schedules. We are quiet, clean but also very friendly and love a good chat, especially when food/drinks are involved. We enjoy art, cooking, movies, music, exercising and being outside… yes rather generic but we are just fun-loving gals in need of shelter. Let us know if you are interested or have any questions!
Hi, I'm looking for a room around the Inner North or Inner West from around January. I'm flexible with the move in date, and ideally I am looking for somewhere for 1-2 months initially with the option to possibly extend. I'm hoping to pay around $150-$180 a week but could pay a little more for the right place. Recently I have returned from 2 years living in Japan and now I'm making the move to Melbourne. I will be finding work once I arrive there but I have a fair amount of savings too so there will be no issues with paying rent or bills on time. I have lived in numerous share houses over the years so I'm considerate to other people's need. I'm also a very clean person. I'm generally a quiet person but always happy to have a few drinks and a conversation or head out for some food or some drinks. I also love going to gigs. Feel free to send me a message if you have a place that you think suits!
Hi lovely people! I'm looking for somewhere fun to stay for an indeterminate amount of time. For the right place, that may be a long time, hopefully with the option of subletting the room when I run off to europe or wherever else. Otherwise, short term works well. Ideal would be month to month. I've lived in everything from a tent in a backyard, a car, a shed, and a place flush with fancy modern amenities like dishwashers. More important is who lives there! About me: I'm a very active and outdoorsy person, I cycle, climb, play tennis and a bit of soccer and other activity I can join. I also like time indoors, with board games, a doco or movie, books or practising spanish. I've lived in share houses before and know how to be clean, tidy and respectful, and can be handy when it comes to fixing things or gardening. It would be nice if the house is a friendly one where there are (ideally meat free) shared meals and other social time and where the occasional visitor or couchsurfer is welcome. Let me know if you have any questions. Cheers :) Ideal housemates would be active and happy people who like to socialise, have a few drinks, that join and suggest activities, and who are responsible enough to clean up any mess they make.
Hi there! My name is Gwen and I'm a 23 year old looking for a place to live in the outer CBD suburbs (preferably the areas listed thanks!) I'm a relatively social person and a little bit of a night owl, but I'm also mindful of others schedules and tend to be quiet in the late hours (headphones exist for a reason). I'm a budding writer with hopes to work properly on a blog I started up New Years Day of 2017. While I don't have any of my own to bring with me, I adore animals and their presence in the home. I'm an adequate cook, but I must admit my strength lies in baking and cleaning up after the cooking. I tend to bake as gifts for friends and always make more than enough cookies/scones/whatever I was craving at the time for myself and others I'm living with. If you've got a request/dietary requirement, I'd be happy to try it out in my recipes. Routine is important for a clear mind, so it's vital that cleaning, keeping tidy and doing my own chores is a consistent weekly schedule, although I'm happy to compromise depending on others work hours. I don't mind the occasional glass of red as well as the odd night out, but of a general evening, you can find me typing away on my laptop or binging on Netflix. P.S. I often bring home really good gelato from work, so you'll never need to worry about iced sweet treats!
Hey future housemate/s, What makes me great to live with? I love life and want to live it to the fullest! I’m extroverted and love getting to know people over a glass of rosé. I love to cook, the spicier the better😁 I also like to have down time and enjoy my own company. I take pride in keeping my room and common areas clean. I have also traveled to a few place, just got back from a tour of Europe. I’m currently working full time and will be starting a bachelor in nursing next year at St Albans VU. I’m looking for a room with a view(only joking)🤣 In all seriousness I would love to be apart of a diverse household who know how to have some fun. I need to be close to public transport as I don’t have a car and work late shifts frequently. Anyway enough about me. 🥂here’s to finding the perfect fit☺️ *****I’m keen on signing a lease agreement*****
Hi guys, im currently looking for a mid-sized room (to fit a bed, desk and some shelving) in share accomodation. I work full time as a barista and study pt a couple of evenings a week, so I keep myself pretty occupied. Im pretty quiet during my down time. If im not out with mates, im usually reading or relaxing with a beer and movie. I consider myself quite outgoing and social, but as I work in hospo I usually get it all out my system during the day so I'm not interested in bringing a party home with me. I've experienced sharehouse living before, so know how to wash my own dishes and scrub a toilet. As a bonus, I'm more than happy to make coffee for everyone :) Feel free to send me a msg! Sean.

Hi! I'm originally from India, but will be moving to Melbourne in Feb 2018 for a Masters program at the University of Melbourne. I'm tidy, respectful and reliable with payments. I am pretty social and would love to live in a house where I can hang out with my housemates. I enjoy soccer, gaming, binge-watching TV series and will always have time for a beer or two. I'm looking for a place preferably within a 8 mile radius from Unimelb.
Hey there! My name is Emilie, I'm a 23 year old Education student at VU. I'm from Perth, which is where I am currently living for the summer until returning to Melbourne on February 15th for the school year. I'll be looking for a place from that time until I graduate mid-December - but I am flexible on dates. I'm very clean and would prefer to live with other people of a similar mindset. I'm not into mid-week parties but am down for a beer or two on the weekends. I love animals so if you have pets I would love that, and am very easy-going and flexible with my diet - if it's a vegetarian/pescatarian house I'm happy to only cook those foods, and if you're meat eaters then I'm down for a big beef BBQ! Also, I will have a car so I'll need somewhere to park it. I don't mind if it's on-street, as long as I've always got somewhere for it. I'm pretty into my fitness (gym, swimming, running, climbing, netball), I like to cook healthy, I sing and play guitar once in a blue moon, I am very studious, and as next year is my final year of teaching, a lot of my time will be spent on placement, so Monday-Friday 8-5 kinda deal. I pay my rent/bills early every month and I'm sure we'll get along great! Please don't hesitate to contact me if you think I'd be a good fit for your home. Emilie
Hi there My name is Lucas, I'm a 29yo guy from Chile. I've been in Australia for almost two years, and right now I'm looking for a private room to stay 5 months. I'm very responsible, reliable, easy going and drama free guy . I'm a full time worker(6 days a week) and I study 2 days a week and I go to the gym almost every day so I get home usually after 9pm. I keep a busy schedule. I'm very clean and tidy =)
Hi! 19, agreeable, mature and self-sufficient/tidy person. I tend to keep to myself but that said, I do enjoy just having people around. Psychology undergrad student so neurological facts at random intervals come as standard. I spend a lot of time going to gigs, studying, and eating cereal. I enjoy fanning out over art, obscure bands and tele shows. As a final selling point, I come with an extensive repertoire of elaborate salad recipes incl. :)
Hi! I’m Kat, currently studying a Masters at the University of Melbourne and working part-time. I’m pretty quiet and respectful of personal space and boundaries, but also down for low-key hangs like watching movies together and drinking tea in the same room. I’ve been living in Footscray for over two years now so I’m keen to stay in the west side, and would love to either join an existing share house or start a lease.
It's a 2 bedroom unit in a quiet area of Seddon. 3 minutes to walk to Seddon station and all cafes, restaurants and shops are near by. 15 minutes to the city by train and there is a nice bike path close by if you like cycling. This unit is very cosy, containing dining kitchen, lounge room and separated bathroom and toilet. There is a small back yard and you can enjoy sunshine or own grown vegetable. The unit is central heating and air-conditioning is only in the lounge room, but if you like you can use a portable one in your room. You can park in a drive way front of house.
I'm friendly and easy to get along with but also keep to myself and respect other's privacy. I work full-time as an educator in childcare centre (so you don't have to worry about the late payment :D). I'm looking for a private room in a shared house or to team up with someone to rent the house. Location is not a big problem for me as long as it is in Melbourne and not too far from CBD. *Nice, clean and quiet area with lovely and friendly housemate(s) please*
I'm a South East Asian guy in my 30s working full-time in the city. I respect others' privacy but always enjoy having good conversations with housemates. In the house I will keep the common space clean and tidy and expect the same from housemates. I cook and bake about 2 days a week and enjoy sharing good foods with housemates if they want to.
My wife and I would want to share the joy of living in the inner west with housemates. We live in an old heritage terrace house. The house has a good sized room with storage. 5 mins walk from all three train stations (Middle Footscray, Footscray and Seddon), Victoria University and Seddon Village. 10 mins bike ride from CBD.
Heya, I'll be moving sometime in the new year, and with way the rental market is these days, I figured I'd start early and suss out if there's any interest in a team-up for someplace actually liveable. You know, instead of paying through the nose and having to squat out of a cardboard box... Me: a 32yo nurse, working the night shift these days, and am keen to start a home, not just a house. You: 20s to 30s, gainfully employed, the usual housemate stuff (pays bills, somewhat tidy, not an axe murderer, etc, etc). Ideally looking for two others for a house of three, but also open to 2-bedroom places. I've got the basics of starting up a house - fridge, washing machine, kitchen stuff, some lounge odds and ends, and stuff for my own bedroom. Also a bit of a wine collection that seems to grow faster than I can drink it - help welcome! I don't have any pets, but pets are very welcome :) Am considering adopting a furball myself once I find somewhere to live, if housemates and landlord approve! Hit me up if you're in a similar situation. Looking at inner north and west suburbs primarily, but nothing definite yet, so if you have a particular area of Melbourne that tickles your fancy, I'm all ears!
I'm a sociable person, keen to share my culture and to know about others cultures. I'm really interested in improve my english skills. I'm also an independent person but love to share a cup of wine and chat with others. I love Netflix, watch movies, to read and listen to music and define as myself as a night owl. I'm really quiet, respectful and also love animals. Oh, by the way I'm a pizzaholic!!
After few years living in Canberra, I am moving to Melbourne to start new career in software industry. I would like to stay with people with mature mind (age, gender and ideology are irrelevant). I clean after myself and have been renter and landlord in last decade. In my spare time, I am a gardener and an antique lover, although I've left my garden and collection behind. I love tennis, I would like to play every week if I can. Like everyone I need private time, but I would like to hang out with housemates for I am new to this place. Never had any problem with pets. Non-smoker and light drinker.
I'm a brazilian student who came to Melbourne to enhance my life experience and expand contact with other nationalities. I'm doing a Cert IV course in International Trade on ILSC school. I'm vegetarian, very calm, sociable and organized person that likes to keep everything clean and in order in my room so I'll always know where are things when I need them. I like talking and meeting new people but at the same time I also enjoy to spend some time alone, so I respect other people privacy and space as well. Please feel free to ask me anything! :)
Hey guys, I'm an Architect from the States, moved here last year and work full time in the Fitzroy. I'm very easy going, considerate, fair, clean and neat but not in a freakish way. I love animals and am not allergic to anything, I also speak Spanish if you're latin@. Always down for a chat, feed, movie or gin tonic... I'm not a smoker but don't mind if you are. I would prefer a place within walking distance from a train station and where there are not 3 people sharing the same bathroom. I am applying for permanent residency, so the 3 month minimum is mostly because I don't want to be tied down in a long lease agreement since I eventually would like to get my own place so my family can visit me. Thanks for reading!
My name is Kyle, I'm 19 years old. I work in warehousing, so I go to bed early and wake up early - as I do morning shifts. I'm from Melbourne, Victoria but I am interesting in travelling. I'm a cyclist, I don't own a car and I'm very polite. I'm quiet, tend to keep to myself but I am super friendly and easy to get along with. I tend to bring a lot of laughter to the household, making everyone's day awesome! I'm clean and do house work when I see that something needs to be done. I live in Shared Accommodation. but I need to find somewhere closer to my work.
