Spacious room available for the start of August. The house is a lovely weatherboard home with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom/laundry area property located in the heart of Seddon and a large backyard that includes a large outdoor furniture setting. The room on offer is the front bedroom measuring 4 x 3.4 with a nice wide front facing window. It will easily allow for a queen/King bed, drawers and wardrobe etc (it has no built in wardrobes). The location is pretty unbeatable, we are just off the main streets in Seddon (legit 2 minute walk to Victoria St) and bordering Footscray near some of the local bars like LittleFoot, Mr West, Back Ally Sallys and don’t even get me started on the Pho.
Hey, I'm Leanne. I'm 32, from England. I work full time as a Dental Technician Monday - Friday. I'm pretty knackered after a tough day at work so I don't get up to too much during the week. I'm very chilled and easy going, clean, tidy and respectful. I like a few drinks and to socialise but also like time to myself. It would be nice to have housemates to share a beer or 2 with and the odd dinner... I'm moving out of my place as yet again I'm the only person that's doing the housework... I'm not ocd when it comes to cleaning just normal! Unfortunately my last 2 houseshare experiences have been with lazy housemates. I'm hoping this is gonna be 3rd time lucky! I've got a shy, timid cat called Frankie who is well behaved and house trained. She'll be a cool housemate too 😊
I am looking for a house for my miniature poodle (more info below), and I. What we are looking for: Preferably either on my own or with one other person. No shared rooms, please. A secure yard. I will pay the higher split in rent for a room that comes with one or more of the following: Ensuite/ own bathroom, Walk in wardrobe, Garage for parking (I love cars and mine driives like a smooth shark), Seperate, private work space/ second room, A room large enough, to create a dedicated work space. A secure back yard. A free standing single or double story house rather than a unit or flat. Apartmens and townhouses are not deal breakers: I like to run around a yard with Teena. Turning music up, during appropriate hours loses it's fun factor, if worried about annoying the neighbours. About Me: Mid 40's, Business owner working from home office (e-commerce). Downsizing after 11 years of a great relationship with the owners (being late with rent once in 11 years, helps). I am flexible and am accustomed to shift worker's schedules. I keep to myself whilst working and happy to have conversation over a meal, single malt, or glass of wine. It is rare to find me in front of the TV unless enjoying a good marathon session over a series, with housemates. About Tina: Tina is an 11 year old, mature miniature (toy) poodle that is a non shedding, fluffly ball of friendly love, who will greets people as they return home, with an infectious smile. She makes friends with others, easily. ^Enough said, if you love dogs.

Hey y'all! I'm Vivienne and 25 years old! Looking to move out of the family home within the next month or two. I'm quite down to earth, pretty chilled however enjoy a busy social life with family and friends. I'm not a big party head but I wouldn't mind going out for a drink or two, once in a while. Keeping fit, getting outdoors, hikes, checking out new cafes and restaurants, brunch are some of my fav things to do. As I work full time as an events coordinator, I like to spend my weeknights mostly chilling out (mostly just cooking dinner/meals [YES CAN COOK] for the week & watching TV) as I do the good ol' 5am wakeup for the gym in the mornings.. so I'm pretty knackered. But hey, if you ask me for cheese and wine on a weeknight, I might say yes! As for the house, preferably looking for an an all female house 20s-30s year olds. Definitely value respecting the house and keeping it tidy, as well as respecting the people living in it. Most importantly, would love a good laugh and a house full of mates that can laugh not just at me, but with me. I'd love to find some peeps that are alike and hopefully, a humble abode that I can be completely comfortable and myself in! Slide into my DMs if I sound like the one for you... or your place haha. PS. I have an unhealthy obsession with donuts 🍩
Very close walking distance to great shops and cafes, Footscray market and 3 different train lines and stations. (Seddon, middle Footscray and Footscray station) The house is compact so easy to keep clean and the bills are usually cheap enough. Safe area and very quiet at night.
Hey there I'm Rachael, I work in the city for a super property fund and I'm looking for a new place to call home. I have a happy disposition and I like living with other happy, chill people who know how to relax and laugh at themselves. A home that feels like a home for everyone is important to me. I come without pets, but I love dogs and would be delighted to live with them again! I need a warm house that gets sunlight, I’m not so good in the cold! I'm a social introvert, know how to respect others' privacy, considerate of shared spaces and treat home as a sanctuary. Anything else you want to know, get in touch :) Cheers Rachael
I am a friendly bubbly young professional who loves the gym and brunching. I am looking for a space where I can have my own privacy as I do really enjoy my own space and I also need to find a space with enough room for my shoes. I am clean and tidy and am really relaxed. I am always up for a chat with a roomie or even a Netflix session or a sneaky brunch.

Love to socialize but also can spend a bit of time in my room drawing and spending time with my cat. My cat is named Howard he is a year old and very sociable and affectionate! I like reading, making zines, listening to music (headphones usually :p) and roller skating among other things. Vegetarian and a feminist (trans inclusive and anti racist)

Hello! I've just come back from working overseas as a software engineer, so now I'm looking for a new home. I'm clean, laid back, respectful and easy to get along with. During the week I usually go for a walk, play squash, futsal or catch up with friends for a dinner. The weekends I usually go have a dinner, go explore somewhere or just relax. I can just as easily have a glass of wine & a chat with my fellow housemates, as keep to myself and enjoy my own time - it really depends on the dynamic of the house and what feels right. Hope to meet you soon & yell out if you have any Q's!
I'm currently studying communication design and working part time in tech support. Respectful, kind, clean. A great cook. Looking to live in a friendly environment with people who I can get along well with.

Hey! We are Lydia and Sean, a couple looking to start a new place (a house of three or four) at the end of July. We're hoping for a house that allows some kind of studio space for art and music projects. Here's a bit about each of us: Lydia: At the moment I'm studying a masters while also managing a cafe full-time. I'm generally interested in painting, jazz, shit jokes, and cooking - I'll tend to fill up my spare time with these things. An ideal home for me includes a backyard (veggie patch?), a space to paint and play piano, and a kitchen big enough to cook with friends sometimes. Sean: I'm a full-time landscape architect, and casual folk musician. I'm hoping for a house somewhere leafy, but close enough to commute to the CBD. I will often be practicing music [quietly(sometimes)], going to see live music, visiting parks and planning music endeavours. Suburbs we're thinking of: Inner North (Brunswick, Northcote, Thornbury, Ascot Vale, Moonee Ponds) Inner West (Yarraville, Seddon, Footscray, North Melbourne) Ideally we'd like to pay less than 180 each per week, and are considering renting a second room/space within the dwelling for a study/music/art space. This could be a shared space amongst the household if you need a creative space too. We have plenty of furniture to begin the makings of a new house and can gather some essentials. We'd like a friendly and connected house dynamic, but one that upholds respect for personal possessions and spaces. We're both tidy and considerate, and intend for everyone we live with to feel very much at home. Can't wait to hear from you!

I love travelling, painting, movies, reading, mindfulness, and sport among other things. I'm usually up for a drink, bite to eat, casual hangout, or if you're planning to travel overseas!
