Hi there! My cousin and I are both independent adults where we both share the same opinion about optimism and positivism. We want to achieve both our goals in life in a positive way and we empower and encourage everyone around us to be their own self and throw away all the negativity in life. We are both international students from the Philippines (you can expect goodies from back home or you can go with us for a vacation and visit the wonders & fun back home) and are both studying here for quite awhile, probably 2-3 years most. We're currently looking for jobs but you don't have to worry on how we pay rent (our parents kindly told us they'll pay for the few months while we are looking and searching for jobs). I can also assure that chores won't be a hassle as we also help participate in cleaning and all that jazz. We are pretty much flexible and let's work together to make our stay fun and positive all the way!! P.S. It would be nice too if its near a bus and train station since we both can't drive at the moment.
I'm a very chill housemate, tidy and respectful of other people's spaces. I like to socialise and have drinks/watch movies and whatnot with my housemates but I will also spend a bit of time in my room painting and drawing. I'm vegetarian and like to cook a bit, am also great at taking care of the dishes. I have a cat who is very loving and energetic, loves cuddles and being played with so I'd be happy to share his attention with others.
Quiet. Respectable. Not a party animal. Clean, domesticated. Easy going, down to earth.
I never miss rent, I'm sociable without being annoying but just as happy to keep to myself as much as you'd like. I'm clean, tidy, reasonable with 99% of all share house issues, and my only pet peeve is a house mate that likes drama. All i want to do after a long day at work is come home and relax, whether that's with a house mate or just chilling doing my own thing. More than happy to help out and if my housemate doesn't have a car, there's no excuse too small that i won't use to go for a drive.
Hi there, I’m Rickie. Am now settled back in Melbourne after a 3.5 years stint in Auckland and got a job with a food manufacturer/ exporter in a western suburb so looking to move to somewhere closer to work. I’m a clean / tidy (but not OCD) and considerate housemate. Also friendly but enjoy my own space as well so respect others spaces in return. My job is fairly demanding so it takes most of my time during week but in my down time I go to yoga and Pilates regularly to keep my sanity (haha) and hiking sometime. Also occasionally enjoy a night out or two but not as often as used to be.
I'm 29, working full-time in wildlife conservation. I love gardening, reading, and a good glass of red. I'm looking for somewhere that feels like home, where my housemates are up for a chat, but respect each other's privacy.
Hi, my name's Shaun and work full-time in business development. Typically it's a normal Mon-Fri and I'll usually be out 2 or 3 nights during the week with sport or part-time uni. On the weekend I'll usually be playing golf or catching up with friends, sometimes heading back to Warrnambool where I grew up. I moved to Melb for uni in 2007 and loved the city lifestyle, it's hard to find a reason to live anywhere else (aside from Winter). I tend to veg out after work but do enjoy a chat with my housemates. I'm also doing some post grad study part time so definitely not looking for a party house. My favourite procrastination activity is cleaning so you may benefit from that! I've shared houses with bedroom hermits and socialites, flexible with either as long as we're respectful of each other :)
Hiya im a 27 year old Aussie girl. im easy going and real chilled, friendly i love good music and food (and absoloutly love animals!) I really enjoy the outdoors , going camping and going on any random adventure! im clean (but not OCD ) i have a good sense of humor and enjoy hanging out, watching tv ,reading, just having a general good old chat,drink/home cooked meal with roomies. im looking to move somewhere that is close to the city as i work full time monday-friday in the CBD so as long as there is close public transport im happy. Needing long term stay ( Im not a traveler so I'm not interested in room share!!). i get along with people from all walks of life and prefer to live with people who are, honest, open minded, laid back , friendly, likes time on their own but also likes to do occassional fun things with the roomies/have a drink,Sunday meals or so on weekends!I'm looking to start up a new share house or to move into one that has like minded people and a place I can call home :)
I have a 2 gorgeous black cats named shadow and lunar they are both pretty smoochy and are toilet trained, whom would be moving with me. Moved back to Melbourne after 2 years in Sydney to take up a new full time role in the medical education field. I am a social person and love to head out for a beer at the local pub, or for lunch/dinner anywhere new. Love meeting new people, can be quiet at first but warm up to people pretty fast. Looking for housemates that like to chat while cooking meals, perhaps hit up a pub trivia session once in a while or have an afternoon of beer drinking on the weekend. I'm not new to Melbourne have lived there many times and in a variety of suburbs. Have lived in many share houses throughout my life in my home town; Warrnambool, Melbourne, London and Sydney. I know how to treat a house and my flatmates with respect and hope to find others who are the same. I'd be happy to meet a few peeps and create a new share house together. I have a some household furniture and would be happy share whatever is needed in a share house situation otherwise I can sell or store any unwanted/ unneeded items elsewhere.
Hey there, I'm a landscape architect (working full time) and have recently moved back to Melbourne after 2 years in Canada. Keen on the outdoors, music, travel etc. I'm social, tidy, considerate and open minded, so consider myself really easy to get along / live with. Ta! :)
Hi there! I am looking for a room close to transport and shops, preferrbly within 45 mins to commute to city. I am currently working full-time as accountant, and live a healthy life style.
Moving to Melbourne 14th May. As a person I would most likely be classified as an introverted-extrovert (not that I feel any inclination towards being labelled or labelling anyone, it just seems helpful to some people to mention these things). I am very much interested in the arts, cultural events, music (both live and recorded) and possess a strong desire to frequently enjoy great food and drink with others. I am from a European background, specifically North-Eastern Italian and Slovenian. This is what I attribute to providing me with a great love of food and beverages. I have a low-level grasp of the Italian language, though I am frequently making attempts at improving this. I also like to cook and bake, and I am often searching for recipes from my Grandparent’s region (Friuli-Venezia Giulia) to test out and share with others. I am a fairly quiet person and have developed a great fondness for my own company (Though I am never opposed to enjoying the company of others). This means I will often go for walks, read or do activities by myself. I enjoy keeping fit so I go to the gym and exercise at least three (3) times per week. I also place a high value on my sleep as this is vital to my overall health, so I have a good routine which I follow 99% of the time. Finally, I feel it important to mention that I am a very clean and tidy person. I always aim to keep my room neat, tidy and ordered and place a very high value on living in a house that is similar. I really appreciate a household that all pitch in together to maintaining the property, specifically a schedule for cleaning and a consistent cleaning-as-you-go approach to living. I quite enjoy cleaning bathrooms and sweeping/vacuuming and mopping, so I am more than happy to volunteer for these tasks weekly.
Hey! Looking for a private bedroom with own bathroom and off-street parking in suburbs between Maidstone/Maribyrnong/Moonee Ponds to the city, however I work in Abbotsford so anywhere from the city out to Kew is great too. I'm a full time worker with the standard 9-5 workday. Young at heart 35 year old who's easy going, tidy, clean and considerate of others. I usually spend weeknights bingewatching Netflix in my room with social activities happening on weekends - visiting family, catching up with friends for lunch/movie/dinner, etc. May have a rare late night out on a Saturday but won't bring the party home and I promise I'll be quiet when entering the house! Happy to have a chat/drink/takeout if our schedules line up. Let me know if you think we'd get along :)
Clean & tidy, easy going, friendly, single. Working full time in a very secure job, as a Builders Labourer. Very easy to get along with. And respectful to everyone. And I can cook and I'm very self sufficient.
Hey! My name is Maja and I am from the Philippines. I will be studying in North Melbourne for the April intake. Choosing a flatmate is definitely a make or break thing, but I guarantee you, you won't make any regrets if you pick me! :) I'm a very considerate person, open minded and respectful. Plus, I'm very adventurous and keen to try new and exciting things! Please help out a damsel in distress, hoping to hear from you :)
Hey I'm Lena, 26 and work full time in the CBD. I'm looking for a new place to live in the areas listed and surrounding areas- I'm pretty flexible on where I live as long as I have access to public transport and it's safe! I'm flexible with furniture but if there's a bed available that would be a bonus. I plan to stay 6-12months or longer as I have no plans to move around again in the forseeable future. I've had plenty of experience living in shared accommodation including staff accommodation with complete strangers so I can easily adapt and I am pretty easy going. I know how to clean up after myself and respect the privacy of others and always pay rent and bills on time. I like my 'me' time but enjoy coming together with housemates for a movie/games night or just dinner or drinks. I would hope to live with people that will become friends rather than just a housemate. A party house really isn't my thing and I expect anyone I share with to have respect and consideration for others just as the same would be expected from me. I'm a pretty quiet person and love to read, go to art galleries, binge watch netflix, spend too much money at kmart, attempt baking when inspired (usually at Christmas time), wander around the city, laze around listening to music and petting all dogs. I don't have any but I am totally open to pets and would love them like my own! Send me a message if you think I could be a potential housemate/friend!
I've lived in share houses for 5 years now since arriving in Melbourne. Always made long term friends with my house mates, many of whom I still hang out with after leaving. I currently work at the pepsi factory in laverton was pursuing film making. I like to play CSGO and go to St Kilda.

Hi! I'm Shae. I'm in my early 20s and working in a permanent position at a hospital Monday-Friday. I generally keep to myself on weekdays after work and like to socialize more on the weekends. I consider myself very easy going and I'd be happy to give roommates their space or join them for dinner and a few wines. I'd like to find like-minded people who are responsible but still have a fun approach to life. I am very active, going to the gym most days and walking my dog in the evenings. Although, I will admit I struggle to resist the temptation of cheesecake and you will probably find me baking some in the house every now and then. I'm looking for somewhere closer to the city to shorten my trip to work. A little bit about my dog since I'd need him to join me! I have a 4 year old mixed breed beagle. He is very intelligent and knows all basic commands: sit, stay, shake, etc. He is not destructive and I am happy to provide a pet bond and sign a pet agreement in the lease to reassure property owners. I also have a pet resume to provide landlords (complete with references!) He is toilet trained and I'm sure he'd be happy living in a small apartment type home as we are in a pretty small place now! I'd love to find a household of people who like dogs because he's always up for a pat or game of fetch in a nearby park. Please note: my dog has epilepsy and occasionally has seizures. They are not dangerous at all but can be a little scary for people who have never seen one before. If you are uncomfortable with this, please let me know!
Hey, hospo lady looking for a long term house. I have 2 spaniel dogs (6 years old and 14) that will be following me on and off. I love them. I have a open taste of music but love tech/house. I do like to dance and sing. Also have love for plants. Open minded, quite placid but also would love an occasional diner or bev with he house and get together with mates. Keen to join a house soon! Ready to go now or within a couple of months
Hey my name is Kimberley, originally from Adelaide. I work in the CBD in hospitality and I enjoy going out for dinner and watching tv. I like to keep to my self and also socialise. I’m looking for either short or long term, hoping to become more friends than strangers in the house. I have had such bad luck with share housing always drugs or drama involved looking for something drug free 😊
hey guys... Am Neha 22 years old girl from Mauritius. Am a cosmetologist, am in Australia for further studies. I'm jovial, thereby i would love to have jovial people around me.
Hello! I’m looking for a new house to call home! I recently returned to Australia after living in South America for 8 months. I am a 29 year old full-time student and work part time in the CBD. I am completing my final year in a bachelor of cultural literacy – it’s a pretty a mixed bag of studies but I focus primarily on Latin American history, the Spanish language and varied world literatures – if you are interested in learning a bit of Spanish I would love to teach! Also, any opportunity to practice is an absolute bonus for me!! A bit about me, when I'm not studying and working I love to write, go to gigs and explore the bars and cafes of Melbourne. I’m a bit of a lone ranger during the week and spend a lot of my time studying, working and writing, however, I still love to socialise and get involved with any activities going around. I have worked as a bicycle mechanic in the past and love to commute around the city by bike, or simply to go for a ride for the sake of riding. I love to tinker and fix old bicycles and am always keen to teach people how to maintain their ride. My ideal house would be one of similar open-minded people who are happy to have a conversation over dinner. I love sharing spaces and would love to be in a house where we are open and honest with each other. I understand the importance of personal space and am very respectful of people’s property. I have also worked in home maintenance and know a little bit about maintaining and fixing old houses. I am available to move in ASAP, please get in touch if you think I would be a good match for your house! Cheers, Jarrod
