Hello, I'm Lisa and I'm currently a student, graduating at the end of this semester. I'm looking for a nice house with nice people. A share house kind of vibe would be ideal. If either of those apply to you, please hit me up! I like really like dogs, but cats make me sneeze. I enjoy going on bush walks outside of the city, binging Netflix and Stan, drinking and going out for a boogy and I have an obsession for brunch. I'm looking for roomates that can also be friends (because who wants to live with ghosts??) I'm a pretty chill and easy to get along with. I clean my mess within a day of making it and I like a clean house. I have furniture I can add the house and appliances (like a good toaster, kettle, outside fridge, dining table, top loader etc etc etc), but I am able to offload these things to fit into a new house. I don't require a furnished room. If anything I've said above sounds like a good fit, please contact me for a chat!
I'm Karen, a full-time working professional for an organisational culture management company as a risk engineering consultant and Matt is a full-time student at Victoria University. We both just moved down from Brisbane about a month ago so keen to meet new interesting people and make friends! :D We like to talk about current events and discuss them to share ideas and viewpoints while also being real goofballs and giggling over the dumbest shit. We love animals!!! So if you have a pet, no problem! I had 16 dogs at one point of my life, and Matt is a cat-cuddler professional. We're hoping to get a place that is warm and welcoming but also allow us to have our own space. Matt is very warm and happy while I can get a little bit locked up in the room playing video games to get my happy barometer up :-) We're not in a rush to move into anywhere, so we will take our time to pick a great spot but if you think you're awesome and would love to hear more about us, just let me know!
Hi! I'm Cyndal, I'm a 28 year old health professional working full time in Geelong. I've lived in Geelong for a year and am looking to make a move to Melbourne to expand my social horizons. I'm planning on commuting to Geelong daily. Housemate-wise I'm responsible, clean, tidy, and keen to create a homey and relaxed environment. I'm introverted, but social, love to get to know new people, and try not to take life too seriously. I enjoy some time to myself, but generally enjoy having a chat over a drink in the evening. I enjoy cooking (and eating!), hiking, being outdoors, and ideally combining all of my favourite things at once (hiking picnic anyone?)! I'm planning on becoming fairly active in the local roller derby community which will probably take up a fair chunk of my social life. I come with an 8 year old short haired desexed/microchipped ginger tabby cat (Manny), who is very friendly and loves being around people. He is playful but well behaved and does not bite or scratch ever. He prefers the company of people to other animals, but he has lived well with other dogs and cats in the past. I am a very responsible pet owner and am very considerate of the needs of others I live with, hence I vacuum regularly and empty Manny's litter tray when it is used. Manny is both an indoor/outdoor cat, although I prefer that he is kept in an enclosed area (shed/garage/laundry) at night. I'm looking for a place to share with one to two other people. I have minimal furniture (bedroom only) and would be open to teaming up to purchase whitegoods etc. if needed. I would prefer LGBTIQA+ friendly housemates who are looking to create a homey environment and potentially be open to sharing a meal or a drink in the evening once in a while. Or, you know, that hiking picnic. Hope to hear from you soon!
Hi, I'm Enrico and I'm doing my Ph.D in VU. I'm looking for a room (possibly already furnished) for 6-8 months. I love sports and and outdoor activity. I'm also tidy and clean. I'm looking for respectful housemates, I'm friendly so I also like have a chat, I'm not a person that stay close all day in the room.
Hi there! I am easy to get along with, I know how to have fun but still clean up after myself. I love animals, and I work freelance in film and television. I am from the South Eastern suburbs, looking to move to the inner west!
Hi, potential house/flatmates :) I am a positive, social and very active 24 Year old who is currently undertaking a Bachelor of Nursing. Don't let the title of student deter you, I still work part-time and previously worked as a Finance Consultant before returning to study. Enough about my background as a flatmate I love Art, Music and reading combined with a cuppa but I will also binge watch Netflix. I am extremely tidy (bed made first thing everyday kinda guy) and love a clean kitchen and bathroom. I don't discriminate, I enjoy the company of all people :) but I am also content on my own for those who like privacy. Outside of the house, I'm probably out for coffee or dinner with friends, if not I'll be playing some kind of sport. I couldn't be more honest than whats written above ^ any questions please feel free to contact me and check out my social media pages. I would be interested in NRA properties also
Hi thereee ! I am Julie, French Architecture student moving to Melbourne for a 6month-period in search of adventure and new friends. Very excited to come to Aus, and realize one of my biggest dreams !! I am very chilled and respectful of other's personal space. But I also am very friendly, and I absolutely love to socialize with people, make new friends and hang out on week-end and share meals during the weeks. I also always am up for a chat with a glass of wine, haha. Hope to hear from you soon, xx.
Hey mates! I'm Alex, 29yo from Italy. I work fulltime in Derrimut and I'm interested in you room! I'm clean, tidy, single, non-smoker and I can do everything in the house. I like to play music(bass) and I love cars and motorbikes. I love traveling as well and chilling with friends, I'm always easygoing and helpful!
Hi there! Looking to move ASAP :) We are Emma and John, young(ish) Scottish couple looking for a place to live for approximately 4 or 5 months (at least). The only reason we won't commit to longer than that at the moment is down to the fact that sponsorship might take a while and we might have to go off and do regional work at the end of July/start of August. We are here on a WHV, but aiming for permanent residency. John is a sound technician and I am currently looking for work, I have a human rights degree and experience in events. Ideally I'll be working in the not for profit sector. John usually works long days (sometimes 14 hours +) and occasionally is working away on a big on tours for about 3 weeks at a time! We are looking for either a studio, 1 bed, granny flat or flat/house share - we really aren't too fussy! Trying to save where we can so $350 all in would be max :) We are currently in Yarraville and are quite fond of the west! So it'd be a bonus if you were around that area. We are clean and neat, non-smokers and aren't big party animals. So whilst we are looking for somewhere fun and relaxed, we'd prefer not to live in a party house. We would also prefer something either furnished or part furnished, we do have a some savings so paying for some things won't be an issue, we'd just prefer to save where we can... (visas ain't cheap). Easy access to the city is a must, the ability to decipher a Scottish accent is a bonus! :) Let us know if you need any more info. Thanks
Hi! I'm Jonathan, originally from NZ and have lived here in Aus for four years now. I'm an apprentice chef so I love to cook and bake, always happy to share my creations too! I'm a lover of all things nature, very curious about the natural world and love to get out and explore it. Always enjoy being social and having a good chat with anyone about anything. Also enjoy time to myself, thoroughly enjoy my own company! This can mean accidentally watching hours of tv or just wandering about for a day on an ambling walk.
I will be moving to Melbourne in April for work and I’m looking for a place to stay. I am secure in my finances so I’ll never be short on rent. My working contract ends around the middle of January 2019 (with a chance of extension), so I am looking for a place to stay for around 9 months minimum. I will be working full time as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Werribee for a while before heading to St Vincent’s Hospital, I won’t be around during the day. Originally from Newcastle, I am a quiet, clean person, who enjoys baking, going out for dinner and going to the gym.
A 29 year old motion graphic designer born and bred in Ballarat. Pretty chilled guy who’s respectful of people’s personal space, but is always up for a beer. The usual clean, tidy, considerate and all that stuff. I'm into movies, TV, footy and love all things music. My weekends usually consist of drinking with mates and going to gigs.
Im 29 years old, and i work full time as a carpenter. Im an easy going person who enjoys good company, good food and new experiences. I like getting out and exploring places aswell as keeping fit. I keep things tidy, and im always willing to help out. I have just moved from sydney renting a place of my own, but im trying to meet new people.
Hi I'm Riccardo, 29 years coming from Italy. I'm in WH so I'm looking for a place to stay for the next months. I'm a quiet, super clean, respectful, cool and easy going person. I'm working full time so I won't be home for most part of the day, but when I'm home I love to cook and share a glass of wine or a cold beer. Since I'm a clean and respectful person I always keep my stuff in order and I keep my place clean and I always pay bills and rent on time. Cheers
Easy to get along with, respect others space and property. Irish carpenter, working full time, travel home to family often. Prefer place near train station, shops. Someplace to relax and call home from home, rather than room, (doesn't have to be especially modern). Neat and clean, (once i've my hi-vis off!). Enjoy social beer at weekend, no other vices. Thanks for reading
i there, I’m looking for a place to call home not a room to rent. I’m easygoing, always up for a friendly chat and try my best to get to know my housemate because there’s nothing worse than an awkward conversation 😬 I work full time in the financial services industry and like to come home and just switch off. I’m house trained and I like to keep everything around me clean and neat. If you’ve got any questions please don’t hesitate to ask :)
I've been share housing since I was 16 and have lived with all kinds of people. I get along best with people who are kind, compassionate, independent, creative and who clean (at least occasionally) and contribute to the running of the household. I like to think that I am all these things, as well as understanding, non judgemental, supportive and patient. I respect people's right to live their life as they see fit (consenting adults and all that jazz) and understand that being human can be a bit shit sometimes and we're all doing our best. I'm in the midst of a career change, figuring I may as well do something I enjoy if I can get away with it. So I'm transitioning into event coordination and taking any event related job until someone gives me the full time event job I want. That means that sometimes I'll barely be home, and other times I'll always be home. I always pay my bills on time. Things that I like to do with my free time include cuddling cats and doggos, free food foraging, dumpster diving, baking (I like food), reading, watching my favourite tv shows, or pursuing a creative endeavour (currently crocheting jellyfish for premature babies and making some plans for an amazing costume for Burning Seed). Let me know if you think I'm the kind of person who'll fit into your household and we can make a time for me to meet and see the place. Have an awesome day.
I’m a registered Nurse. I’m very easy going and mostly spend my time working or at yoga. I do love keeping the household neat and tidy and hate mess! I love being around my friends and enjoy eating out and trying new food.
21, female. I have been living in Sydney all my life, last 2 and a half years living in a share house. I will be moving to Melbourne some time soon, either in the middle of this year or end. I am looking for a place where I can have my own space; either a 1 bedroom place, studio apartment or granny flat. I have my own furniture (so furnished or unfurnished won't be a problem). I am quiet, I tidy up after myself, I pay my rent on time. I avoid using the dryer and do not leave lights on and waste electricity. Non smoker, I do not have pets. My budget is very low at the moment because of my work situation so I can only afford $180 per week. At absolute most, $200 per week (including bills and internet). Due to some health problems with rheumatoid arthritis I will need a place close to public transport and local shops/grocer.
