I'm heading into my second year of a PhD at the Melbourne Uni in Creswick, studying ecology. This means I'm out during the day and head out into the field for a couple of weeks at a time pretty regularly. When I'm home I love playing video games, as well as a drink, chat and laugh at the end of the day. I generally keep myself pretty neat but I'm chill about it too :)
Hi, I’m a doctor from Malaysia. I’ll be starting work at Ballarat Base hospital in March so I’m looking for a place to stay that’s close to the hospital and hopefully relatively central to everything else. I’m quite friendly, and enjoy meeting new people. I like to keep things clean, and am hoping to find flatmates who are tidy as well.
We are located in the heart of Ballarat, we live super close to ACU uni, the hospitals and Mair street. But more importantly you can easily walk home from bluey/rafters on a Saturday night. You have a massive room all to yourself. Our house is older but full of soul. The house is fully furnished but we do need a new vacuum.
Hey! I’m looking for somewhere new to live! I’m currently at my parents after a bit of time overseas so would prefer somewhere independent. I’m open to share houses or somewhere by myself depending on the circumstances. Living with new people would be great as I’m happy to chit chat but also do my own thing and live a pretty busy life with full time work and socialising with friends and family. I work in Ballarat Central and go to Fernwood gym so I am flexible with the location. Length of stay is negotiable and I may want long term but there is potential for me to transfer to Melbourne with work so would appreciate flexibility.
This charming property is a lovely fully established home with all kitchen, bathroom and living amenities included. One bedroom up for grabs with a lovely window view, built in bookshelves and a built in gas heater to stay warm on cold Ballarat nights. Furnishings are available if you need them. The house is walking distance to the train station, Sturt street, and the Fed Uni Camp Street Campus. Also not far from supermarkets etc. ideally looking for someone to stay longer term who is willing to go on the lease and happy to share a peaceful home with me.
I am currently studying at ACU, and looking for some laid back housemates to get me through my final year at uni. I would be keen to live with other uni students who know how to have a good time but are also prepared to knuckle down when it counts :) I have a 7-month-old puppy as well, who is the most lovable dog and very easy to manage.
The house is arty and charming, set in a lovely garden and has a great view. The neighbourhood is quiet and friendly. The home functions well but has no modern cons... which keeps the cost down. The room available is set separate from the other bedroom and study so plenty of privacy, it also has its own gas heater and t.v. ariel.
Old world charm, with new renovation. Fully furnished. House has hardwood floors and high ceilings. Bright and well lit dinning/kitchen area with gas stove and oven, microwave, nespresso machine. Lounge has a TV and fire place. Small utilities area with washer, dryer. Backyard with gas barbeque and outdoor clothes line. You will have the fully furnished masterbed room and ensuite with walk in wardrobe. Bedding and linen not included.
Excellent location close to everything in Ballarat including the hospital precinct. Unfortunately I'm not able to move in until 6th Feb so can't offer inspections until after that date. 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, the main bathroom has a separate toilet. Spacious kitchen with heaps of storage. Ducted heating throughout, perfect for those chilly Ballarat winters!
I am starting an acting course in Ballarat next year, looking to move there from Bendigo. I like reading, old movies, and being around good people. I'm not fussy about my accommodation: I don't need furnishings or anything fancy. Just something inexpensive.
Looking to find a place in Ballarat
We are two young professionals moving to Ballarat after spending the last two years working and travelling in London. I will be looking for work once I arrive and Allan has a full time job lined up. We are looking to meet new people and make friends in Ballarat and would be happy to stay long term in the right house We are pretty chilled out people, like exploring places and getting outdoors. We are not big fans of partying, instead more than happy to chill at home with a beer or two. I am a crafty and musical person and will be bringing a keyboard, and Allan enjoys photography and playing squash. Bonus points for houses with pets.
Perfect for responsible, tidy professional/student (with 1 quiet occupant) - renovated home near lake. Large bedroom, new paint and carpet. Two living areas, outdoor entertaining with low maintenance garden. Share utility bills (approx. $30/wk each). 5 min walk to hospitals; ACU. NBN connected. Furnished/unfurnishrd - wardrobe, dressing table inc, BYO bed/mattress.
The house is quite modern and spacious consisting of 4 bedrooms, bathroom and ensuite, 2 toilets, 4 living areas and a lovely peaceful outdoor deck. The house has gas ducted heating, ducted cooling and a wood fireplace. It also has a double remote control roller door and you enter the home from inside the garage or the front door. I have a lovely garden and a nice visual aspect out onto a reserve with trees. ( No house on north side)
Secure lock gate and parking on the property, big back yard with fence and no creepy on-lookers if you want to enjoy some time to yourself out the back. Just off the main street but very quiet all the time. Internet available but not included in the rent.
Hi The listing is a huge, funky apartment right in the centre of Ballarat's cbd, in fact, it would be hard to be more central! Imagine living above the row of shops opposite the Town Hall with the bus stop at the door and Ballarat's prime eating places alongside! The apartment is fully furnished and includes a double drawer dishwasher, large washing machine, linen and a fully fitted out kitchen. Currently, there are four professionals living there and we're looking for one more. We'd prefer long term people who are clean, responsible and easy to get along with. It works because everyone is respectful and clean and because the apartment is so large. In fact, it is so large that there is space for most of us to have their own separate office at no extra charge! That's two rooms for the price of one! NBN is connected so the internet is super fast. Supermarkets, ACU university and both hospitals are within walking distance so there is no need for a car. The bus stops at the door to Fed Uni and everywhere else.
I already have a listing on here. I am wearng a blue print top and have my hair in a plait. (Glitch) I am an editor, writer and administrator, and currently work virtually via the internet most of the time. I am interested in arts, books, basketball, hiking and travelling. I clean up after myself with special care in the bathroom and kitchen. I have relatives and friends locally but wouldn't mind making some more. I am quiet but don't mind conversation if that is what you want.
Hi! I'm looking to find a share house in Ballarat! I'm a relaxed single mother of a boy turning six in April who visits his dad every second weekend. He's a great kid who sleeps well will be at school all day. I'm moving in to Ballarat from a while out so I can be closer to uni. I love to cook (and I'm happy to cook for the household) and consider myself to be quite clean and tidy. I'm open to the odd house party or games night, but I don't know many people in town and I'm happy to keep to myself. Finding somewhere with good internet is essential and would prefer somewhere with a yard. Pets are absolutely negotiable as I do love animals. I spend my evening time playing games or studying. Max $125 for rent and bills per room (I would require two) and would love to find someone who is in it for a couple of years.
Hi there, I am looking for a place to stay from Monday - Thursday night, for about 6 months. I'll be doing my intern 6 months at the Ballarat base hospital in this period. I am friendly and easy going, happy to engage in conversations but I do like to have my downtime :)
Hi My name is Matt. I am friendly, honest and a very good listener. Currently looking for a short term rental until my new workplace is confirmed. Have a lovely day. Cheers.
Hi, I am a Web Developer. In a few months time, I am planning to move to Ballarat for my higher studies in Federation University. I hope to find a good place to live in, which is affordable and near my uni. I am very easy going person. I like to keep my room tidy. Please let me know if you have a shared room for rent. :)
I’m a second year Physiotherapy student at ACU and am currently working as a bike builder in Melbourne. I am friendly, sociable and considerate of others. I enjoy the cooking and the great outdoors, particularly running, bike riding and surfing. I am respectful of others, and value having neat and tidy communal spaces. I am looking for a place to stay whilst I am at University this year.
A 26 year old professional, working full-time in town, I am super easy to get along with and conduct myself in a professional manner. I have a lovely Staffy who is full of fun, and don't drive - so you won't need to worry about someone stealing that perfect park!
Great living area, recently renovated kitchen and two bathrooms. Central heating. Aircon in common area however house stays super cool so haven't had to use it much. There is a cat who lives here, she is no trouble. Ideally wanting female 23+ and working full time. Nice backyard for socialising on weekends 👌
im friendly, tidy and financial. im into a healthy balanced lifestyle. i work nearly full time at a large school in operations management and have been paying off my house on the edge of town. i wish to spend a year central just for a change. im into seeing music and going to trivia, and like a balance of being out of the house and chilling at home. im ok with chatty and quiet types of people
Hi, my name is Lainey and I am 18 years old from Echuca, Victoria. I am a first year physio student at ACU, and I am looking for a room to rent in shared accomodation. I am friendly and easy going, my interests are socialising and water skiing. Housing near ACU would be preferred, however I do have my own car.
