We are a quiet, tidy, non-drinking, non-smoking, respectful nerd couple looking for a private room, studio, or 1-bedroom flat. Chris is a computer programmer from the US and Jing is a Chinese language interpreter/translator. We lived in Thailand for 12 (Chris) and Jing (4) years and have moved to Melbourne. Jing is working in Melbourne CBD on a 2-year visa so she may well stay longer depending on price and terms. We are looking for a place in CBD or not more than 15 minutes from CBD by public transport. Jing will be out working a lot of the time. Chris will be spending a lot of time in the unit so we are looking for quiet and good internet. Chris has a lot of experience with internet and WiFi and he can help you improve your internet for yourself and all your tenants too. We are a landlord's drama-free dream come true. Contact us now---we'd like to move in soon! Our latest deadline for moving in is 15 March.
I work as an Assistant Manager at Adventure Megastore. Unlike most people my age I am not into partying and clubbing. I tend to be quiet as I am studying but I am easy to get along with and love to have an in-depth discussion about a range of things. I occasionally have to be reminded to use my inside voice when I get excited but that is as loud as I get. It is important that the room I rent is walking distance from a train station. I do not own any form of individual transport so this is the only way for me to get around.

I am a non smoking female, looking for shared accommodation (furnished preferred) in the city or inner suburbs, as I commute most days to CBD for work. Public transport on my door step is essential as I do not have a car. I am independent and enjoy doing my own things most of the time but love sharing the occasional meal at night / weekends. A homebody who happens to have an active life outside the home, if that makes sense. I am a social person who enjoys the occasional glass of wine but am not a party animal. I am quiet, reliable, neat and tidy, responsible and experienced at sharing / house sitting. Common sense goes a long way ! I am flexible with dates and terms but ideally looking to move in early March ( or earlier) if I find the right set up. Just returned from overseas and enjoying what this city has to offer. Looking forward to hearing from you. Cheers! PS: Am also interested in teaming up for a co-tenancy lease agreement in my preferred locations: CBD / Docklands / Richmond / Southbank / North of City Road - If this is of interest to you, please get in touch :-) Thanks!

Hello there future housemate(s), I’m Sanjit, a 22-year-old student who’s looking to move to Melbourne from Brisbane in order to pursue my Master’s degree in Food science at the University of Melbourne. I’m very reliable with rent and other bills (can provide references of previous housemates). I’ve lived in many share houses before so I know the drill! I’m hygienic, clean and tidy! I’m very chilled out and laid-back (so much so that I’m almost horizontal) and hope to find similar easy going and open minded housemates. Looking to rent a place for a minimum of 4-6 months and can extend it if it works out fine. I’m a very sociable person, love going out for food, drinks, movies and would love to find a chilled out place to call home. I also respect everyone’s privacy and will not be constantly pestering you haha. Since I’ll be starting with my Master’s degree, I’ll be pretty busy during the weekdays at Uni but I’m always keen to chill on the weekends. I love watching and playing soccer! (GO Manchester united!) I enjoy scuba diving, longboarding and am now looking into indoor/outdoor rock climbing. Also enthusiastic about patting dogs and watching funny dog compilation videos. I’m an avid music listener! Love rap, hip hop (artists such as Kendrick lamar, Eminem, 2pac, Biggie, The underachievers, Joey badass, J cole etc), classic rock (Pink Floyd, Guns n roses, Aerosmith, The beatles, Jefferson airplane, Creedence Clearwater revival, The rolling stones, Eric Clapton, Queen etc), Electronic (Flume, Nicholas jaar, Odesza, Pretty lights, Eric prydz, Bassnectar etc) and sometimes when I’m feeling classy, I’ll hit up some Wolfgang Mozart (what a ridiculously cool name) or Bach. So if you love music, I’m sure we will get along!! Also, I have a pair of headphones so you don’t have to worry about me blasting loud music. Also down to binge watch movies and tv shows. So, if you think we’d get along and would like to team up or you have a room available in your house, hit me up! I’m currently travelling overseas and will be arriving in Melbourne around the 25th of February. Send me a message if you're interested. Hope to hear from you soon :)
I am a professional female working 9-5 job in Human Resources and also do some volunteer HR work for a Non-for-Profit arts organisation. So generally very busy during work days. I am looking for share accommodation in a suburb closer to Melbourne city. My preference is to have a private room with own bathroom plus parking. I moved to Melbourne from Sydney last year and have been travelling a fair bit last year. I am spending a lot more time in Melbourne this year and looking to find a place to share with someone easy to get along with, fun and a clean/tidy person . I am an easy going person, very social, like to hit the gym/run 4-5 times a week and people generally love to have me around. I am very particular about cleanliness and always make sure the place is left spotless for other people. In saying that, I don't have OCD;) I also like to cook when time permits, mostly over the weekends and happy to share any new recipes I try out with my flatmates. Due to a busy work schedule, I don't generally have much time during the week at home but always up a chat, a glass of wine or dinner when I am around. I am also very respectful of your privacy.
Hi there lovely people! TL;DR: I'm reliable, responsible, and looking for a place to call home. Clarence here. *waves* I’m currently a second year degree student studying communication design (graphic design, really) at RMIT. I work part time in the city at a photography equipment hire company so...guess that means I'm good on rent? (: A 29yo, responsible, easy-going, sociable person who has a good sense of humour; likes the random joke; cooks every now and then (not a great cook but I try, also I’m a student, so it's cheaper, right?); watch way too much TV shows than I should (Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Brooklyn Nine-nine, etc.); enjoys the occasional drink (I’m a light drinker/asian flush); not big on parties (you can host your own if you want, I don't mind); loves to cycle (cheaper than getting fines from tram hopping); would love a chat at the end of the day yet am respectful of your personal space and a problem solver (not that you would have any, but that's a good to know); loves coffee (and a secret tea drinker). A nice person to hang around with (or at least no one has told me otherwise). For the rest of my time, I like to keep myself active by going for bicycle rides, runs and cafe hopping (not necessary in that order). I love photography and all things creative. My main mode of transport is by bicycle which takes me to most places. Oh, and I am tidy, non-smoker, and dislike leaving mess about the house and am very respectful of your personal space and belongings. A clean as I go kind of person. So don't you worry. Currently out of town and will be back in the first week of Feb. Feel free to chat/text me If I fit the profile you're looking for. Hear from you soon! :D
Hi, my name is Alicia and I'm from the South of England. I am an upbeat, sociable person but have a pretty busy job so tend to keep quiet during the week! I like to spend most of my spare time outside, finding new places to eat, going for a run or seeing friends. I'm hoping to find down to earth, like-minded people to share a home with.
Hi, I am extremely friendly and have lived with many nationalities prior! My current and prior flat mates can vouch for me and will be my referees! I am very social and go out a lot for events and stuff around Melbourne. While at home, I enjoy watching movies, love to cook, having a chat over meal/drink with flat mate/s, have my own space to relax and give them their - in short, I am really cool ;) :). I love to cook and buying fresh from the markets and cooking from scratch - it's my thing and like a glass of red with a nice meal and specially in the winters, to keep myself warm :). Would also be great to have chat over a drink, eat together etc. at times. - instead of being a person living in the next room. I am most flexible and mindful of others and their privacy. I also love to swim, ride my bicycle and explore Melbourne and rest - well you will have to chat with me in person - yeah? :) I work in Software Sales for a IT company in South Yarra. I moved back in early 2015 from overseas after 4 years of living and working and glad to be back in the most livable city in the world - Melbourne!! I am an Australian Citizen and have lived in Melbourne for 10 years (2000- 2010) - I worked at ANZ Bank in various departments for 7 years! Went to study full time for my Masters at Melbourne Uni, graduated and found a job overseas and hence the overseas living and working :)... I have my own stuff for the room, bed, tall boy and side table etc. and my espresso coffee machine, couple of pans and stuff for kitchen nothing major though and no other furniture, thank you. I would like to live with matured flatmate/s who are 'neat & clean' and would take responsibility of themselves and the house - I do not mean clean freak :). I am down to earth and easy to get along with. I would like to share with someone who wants to share and not to just looking for saving rent or having a person just to share for the sake of it and not responsible while sharing the place. Would be great to meet in person and have a chat please, thank you. Cheers, Chirag
I'm Hayley, 26 years old, working full time in child health in Parkville. I'm very clean, friendly, and easy-going. During the week I keep things pretty relaxed and enjoy eating out with friends, a nightcap or two, and going to the gym. I like to spend my weekends out and about seeing friends, doing yoga, being active, or going on day trips. I'm looking for an ensuite room with a car space for around $200-230 in the inner east/south-east. I'm flexible with the move date, and any time from March onward works :-)
I am clean, neat and hygienic, easy to get along with, respectful of privacy and personal space. Looking for a quiet sanctuary to come home to, I party outside of the home, not in. Thanks! :)
Hey, I'm Matthew. I'm from Sydney originally, where I worked for Apple. Moved to Melbourne at the start of 2015 for an Acting school which I've now graduated from. I work as courier on the side now which lets me pay bills and keep active. Outside of that I've started Calisthenics training, as well as Dance and Piano lessons. I've lived in share houses since I was 18 and have been privy to good housemates and bad, so you can be sure I'll make a good housemate for you. I clean up immediately after cooking. I'm quiet at home and enjoy my rest and peace. I'm consciencious of the sound I make and my influence on the living space for my housemates. No smokes/drinks/drugs. Not a racist. No prejudices. I'm a grown up. Financially responsible | I will always have rent paid on time. I'm honest. If I break it, I'll tell you and repair/replace it. Cool with any pets. Friendly. I'm Vegan | I don't sweat what you eat or how you live. Not thrown by any sights or smells. Grown up.
Hi there - currently living in Brighton, but would love to move closer to the more social areas of Melbourne - looking to live with people similar ages to me, who enjoy a glass of wine or a beer occasionally. I am 25, originally from Scotland who moved to Melbourne from London 2 months ago. I work in the city Mon-Fri in consulting! I enjoy cooking, wine, socialising, the gym and relaxing at the weekend!
My name is Sam and I am a Research psychologist in my 30s, while also working towards my PhD (p/time). I am a social and relaxed person, who loves to laugh and chat. However, I am also reserved, and quiet, especially when working to a deadline. I like to cook delicious food, and eat out, and I am quite a coffee addict. Also, being an avid traveller I am usually planning my next adventure. If the flat is working brilliantly, I would love to discuss staying on after a few months, if that works.
Hi! I'm an international student from Indonesia and looking for a furnished room and preferably for long-term rent. I consider myself to be a sociable, very adaptable person and clean housemate. I enjoy nights in at home reading books or watching movies and playing badminton in my spare time. However, I also love having casual chats over a dinner with my housemate(s).
