I am Italian and she is Australian and we have just arrived back to Australia this week after spending the last 6 months in Italy. We are both students, but will be working full time. We are both always up for a chat but know how to respect others privacy.
My name is Shabnam. I am an architect and I work 9-6 in south Melbourne. Currently I live in Thornbury and I am planning to move close to work. I'm a very respectful, easygoing, clean and tidy person. Preferably, I would like to live with easygoing people, who I can have a glass of wine with sometimes. The move date is flexible.
Hello. I am Brazilian and I'm 35. I graduated in Engineering from the Catholic University of Campinas (PUC Campinas). I have worked about years in the German multinational Robert Bosch in Campinas-São Paulo as an intern and engineer. I arrive in Melbourne on 02 September to study English in the morning and maybe work 20 hours per week. I already have a level of intermediate English (at least for the Brazilian standard), but for my profession that is not enough, so my trip to Australia. My main goal is to improve English, but also enjoy to learn about another culture and do some trip inside the Australia and work half time too. Thanks.
Hi, my name is Ben. I am a 29 year old British guy who has recently returned to Melbourne after 2 years in the UK. I am looking for somewhere for the next 6 months and possibly beyond. I am a sociable guy who enjoys a drink at the weekend but I am very respectful of other peoples space. I enjoy sport and working out and an outdoor lifestyle. If you want to know anymore just ask!
I am a quiet, clean, and nice student who's looking for a shared flat or apartment to stay for 6 months.
Hi I'm Brynley. Currently living in Christchurch, New Zealand. I have just been offered a florist Job and fly over on the 26th of October. I always bring flowers home, I'm organised, easy to get along with and love adventures but I also love my down time. I'm well traveled. I'm vegetarian but don't mind being around meat. I'm clean and tidier than the usual joe and would call myself a mature 21 year old although I think it's important not to take life too seriously. I hope I'm easy to envision living with :)
Very laid back, clean and easy to get along with. I am a sociable guy who enjoys a beer and a laugh, I'm organised and I am very respectful to others.
I work professionally in hospitality and am a shift worker. I love to explore new places to eat and drink. I have my favourites around town but am open to try new things. I love football, car racing, music, comedy and binge watching TV series. I'm open to new ways of living and experiencing other cultures. I'm looking for a chilled housemate(s) to move in with. I get along with older people than myself rather well but know how to enjoy my youth. I'd like to find a place that gives me my space but has friendly vibe in communal areas. I need to find a place close to Southbank or with easy access to Southbank for work.
I am currently studying Bachelor of Arts at the University of Melbourne majoring in Law minoring in Politics. Despite the heavy study load and populist beliefs amongst my 'Work Hard Play Harder' friends; I am legitimately only boring on weekdays and a most likely/10 hitting Circus or CQ with the squad on the weekend. People's first impression of me is often subjected to the flaws of male fundamentalism where a woman can only be one of the two possible archetypes: stupid & attractive usually super fun but often shallow and has a lot of hot friends, OR smart & ugly, has a jam-packed schedule, living a conservative and quiet life with a small social group of feminists who she exchanges literature reviews on a Sunday brunch. Well, I guess I must be Elle Woods from Legally Blonde, as I identify myself with both archetypes. Can you hear that? it's the sound of the narrow-minded being absolutely mind blown. Advantage: - Tidying up after myself in communal areas almost right after I make a mess such as cooking, or unfolded a throw (currently living in an OCD-infested house in the eastern suburbs; I've picked up the art of cleaning & organisation) - Also currently studying Interior Design & Decoration so the house will always be pimped TF out - Hardly takes any offence to criticism & prefers resolution than tension (mindfulness people, mindfulness) - Respects and follows established boundaries and trust me, boundaries will not be crossed but the same is expected on the other end as well. (personal space, no social/friends stealing, care to other people's personal property, ect ect) - Regular Schedule (well I'm boring on weekdays and I know most people go to work on weekdays so that works well for both of us) - Always punctual with bills & rents. - I have my own life too, don't worry, I won't pry into yours. - To be honest, I don't mind a bit of gardening - Loves travelling so there is a possibility of me being away for a short period of time during my uni breaks - I love vacuuming is that weird - Any guests coming to the home will love me - Honest & Brutally up front as I like to discuss about problems as soon as the problem occurs. (but I'm mindful of other's situation as well, repeated as above) Disadvantage: - I'm a smoker. I don't smoke indoors (who does that anyways?) and I don't throw butts on the ground (again, mindfulness) & if you are asthmatic then obviously I will not smoke within your perimeter. - I am incredibly social but when I'm at home I often like being in my own company working on things by myself. Personal space is a big thing for me and I can't help it. - I can't live with kids or babies (personal space, personal property & personally I don't like smoking in front of children) -Prefers the ensuite as I have a lot of cosmetics & girly stuff (it's an addiction, seriously Mecca & Lush should be illegal) I also prefer unfurnished or semi furnished properties as I do have my own furniture & I am a soon to be Interior Designer. (This applies to pals that are interested in looking for a house/apartment together) If you would like any further information or have any queries please do not hesitate to contact me. Regards, Chee.
i have lived outside house for more than 11 years, pay rent on time, know to clean after myself, work a lot so wouldn't be at home a lot, but like chill out on my day off, will respect other people's time and privacy.
I'm a fine art painter. Quite social enjoy a great convo and many laughs. I like being outdoors, hiking, concerts, spontaneous adventures. I'm clean and responsible, very courteous of others space :)

I am ideally looking for a private room to rent (with a carpark) in & around Southbank / South Melbourne areas. I'm 25/M, work FT in the City and also Mt Waverley, and play sport on top of this. Have lived in share housing for over 10 years, and know the drill well. I don't have raging parties, don't stay up all hours of the night etc, pay all bills on time. I just recently adopted an 8-year-old cat, and she is incredibly friendly. Mostly just a lap-cat, so doesn't involve much maintenance at all (just a relaxing place to sleep her days away). Worse comes to worse, I have alternative arrangements in place for the cat should it be a no-go. Pretty easygoing guy, more than happy to sit down for a beer when I'm around, and won't make a mess etc. At this stage my move date is the 29th October, and the plan would be to stay for around 2 months - however, that could extend. Hit me up if you want to find out more or have a room/house that you think I could be interested in.

Hello I'm Stefani, a creative mind filled with wonder and excitement, I look for adventure and enjoy meeting new people. Well ladies and gents I am light hearted and relaxed in nature, there will always be laughter and friendship. I do love to cook as food excites me. I am a respectful and thoughtful person. I love to go out and explore, attended festivals, night markets, try great food, honestly anything. I work in a law firm within the CBD, no not a lawyer hehe, I attend the gym after work hours, am looking to take up some more fitness classes which means I'm generally out and about unless having a night in. I am hoping to come across a person or persons that I can share dinners, drinks and laughter with as I do not want to live in a place where we stick to only our rooms and barely know one another.
Hello! My name is Craig. I am a 26 year old professional from Canada. I work at one of the Big 4 public accounting firms in Canada and will be transferring to our Melbourne office in August. I enjoy travelling, hiking, adventures, sports and would be open to a couple of beers once in a while. I plan to explore as much as possible and I look forward to checking out everything Melbourne has to offer as well as visit other areas in Australia during my free time. I am looking for a room to rent in the CBD preferably in the Docklands area but I am open to other locations that are close to public transport and amenities. I am neat, tidy, clean, easy going, friendly and respectful of personal space. I would like to live with someone like minded that I can get to know, socialise with and maybe even go on an adventure but will still allow me to have my own personal space. If this sounds like what you are looking for in a housemate please contact me to discuss further.
Hi there! My name's Breahna. I'm 27 and work full time Mon - Fri in Docklands. During the week after work you'll generally find me going to the gym or binge watching a TV show. On the weekends I like to catch up with friends and family over a coffee/meal/drinks, check out the bike/walking paths and parks in the area or sometimes have a lazy morning. I love to travel so any annual leave is generally used on a holiday. I'm considerate of others, like to keep a tidy space and understand the importance of paying bills on time. Ideally I'm looking to live with relaxed, friendly housemates who are up for a chat and the occasional meal or drink at home or out and about, but also happy to have their own time. I'm quite flexible on my move in date. Please feel free to get in contact with any questions! Thanks, Breahna

Hi Im Nicola, former South African, been here for 4 years. I start a new job as a store manager in Albert Park next week 4 days a week. 1 day a week I will be interning in advertising for a fashion company. And will also start studying copy writing part time. So pretty busy..In my spare time at home I binge watch shows on Netflix or playing video games.. I have a gym membership! which I once used, but found the winter months heading more towards food and wine. Im a recent North Melbourne fan. I love playing pool and having a good beer and burger at a pub..Im overly laid back and easy going.. Don't give a f what you do.. 420 friendly.. Im clean and tidy and respect others space. I often work pretty long hours so sometimes so I just end up chilling in my room reading or end up sleeping. I have my own bedroom furniture so would prefer an unfurnished room. I love talking about philosophies, politics and random nerdy stuff. :)
I'm a 20 year old Swedish girl and I'm moving to Australia in August. I will be studying full time at Billy Blue College of design. Looking for a private room not too far away from Melbourne CBD. I prefer living with females. I'm easy going and down to earth. I love being creative and I also love music. I'm trying to learn to cook more vegetarian food. I like to socialise but I always respect personal space. I like to go out to bars and clubs as well as just staying in watching Netflix. I only want to live with humans, because I'm allergic to dogs and cats...
I am from Sao Paulo, Brazil, I am currently interning in a architecture studio in CBD area . I am very organized and clean, but I know I have some sloppy days, but I swear I try to avoid them. I believe is very important to keep things clean and organized, specially when you are sharing your house with someone else. I am not a party person, I don't really like to drink but I won't refuse some occasional drinks. Usually I prefer to stay at home at night, unless ther is a special occasion. If I could, I would probably die watching Netflix, but I also like to exercise, I am really into cross fit. or riding my bike around Melbourne getting to know new places. My internship ends in December, but I am thinking about starting a Masters next year, which means I would be around until April or the next years, there are a lot of things that could happen, so I am Taking one step at a time. I believe for now that is it Best regards for you reading this Yuri Michel Piantniczka
I'm Jess, 27, from London(ish). Looking to settle down in Melbourne for the next year or so. I am subletting a flat in North Melbourne at the mo - but that is coming to an end on the 18th Oct so would be looking to move around then. Before arriving in Australia I travelled through South America so have many a travelling tale to tell. I am a non smoker, clean, respectful roommate, enjoy a glass of wine or three but also love a netflix series. I love discovering different pockets of the city and surrounding suburbs in my free time. Guilty pleasures would include the occasional dose of celeb gossip and trashy reality tv.
