Hey folks! My name is Octavio, and I am a fun and outgoing international student from Mexico, currently studying a master of Advertising at RMIT University. I have lived for the past year and a half with 3 friends in an amazing apartment within the CBD, but unfortunately the landlord will sell the property and asked us to move. About me: I spend my time either at uni, work or out socializing. I enjoy hanging out with friends, meeting new people, reading, drinking beer, among other standard stuff that 20 somethings like to do. In the past I have lived in NY, London, Shanghai and Melbourne. So based on my past experiences with roommates and flatmates, I would say that I am very easy to live with, very aware of personal space and like to share a beer/wine over a good chat when we bump into each other. Cheers!

I'm 27 years old, living in Perth but moving to Melbourne likely in the next month. I'm excited for a change of scene, to spend some time in Melbourne city, and to meet new people. I work in the mental health field and usually keep myself fairly busy. I'm interested in keeping fit, healthy eating, reading, Netflix, and like to go out for dinner, drinks and movies/theatre. I'm clean (but not obsessive), tidy, and think it is important to have respect for one's home and shared belongings. I think it's important to be friends with your housemate(s) and to be able to communicate about house matters, but also have respect for one another's space. I've lived in shared homes before and generally find this an enjoyable living situation.
Hi! My name is Lauri and I'm a 28 year old guy from Helsinki, Finland. I'm a multimedia designer by trade and usually work in the creative fields. I'm in Australia on a working holiday visa and planning to spend the following months in the awesome city of Melbourne. Currently my long term plans are pretty open so therefore I'm looking for a short term lease on a private room in a nice shared house/apartment with nice roommates. Ideally I would like to rent a room for the next 3 months or so, but I'm also open for shorter and maybe longer deals. I'm a responsible, clean, open-minded and an easy-going person. I'm into music and all kinds of arts in general. I like to spend my free time going to gigs and exhibitions and also hanging out with friends and watching movies etc. I'm used to sharing apartments with other people and can appreciate a nice community as well as privacy. Contact me if you have a spare room that I might be interested!
Hi! My name is Makensie. I'm 30 and after travelling abroad for the majority of my 20's, I have decided to call Melbourne home. I have recently finished studying (was a bit of a shock heading to uni as a mature age student) and am now a practicing Myotherapist on the Southside. Currently working on achieving a healthy work/life balance, I'm just getting into the swing of things post university. When I'm not at work, I'm catching up with friends, exercising, cooking (don't be fooled, I'm no chef) or checking out professional and personal development work shops. I'm a bit of a hippie at heart, I enjoy meditation and am partial to burning incense. I don't take myself too seriously though and appreciate good banter! My goal this year is to push myself out of my comfort zone ticking the things off my bucket list that I continue to put on hold for 'later'. I'm looking for a household that feels like a home. I'm independent and enjoy spending time with housemates but do like my own space also and am looking for housemates who appreciate this too. Ultimately, a clean, relaxed, fun, cheerful household where housemates are mindful of each other and work as a team when it comes to getting house jobs done. Close to public transport, cafes etc, is also important. Prefer to organise my own food, though happy to share condiments/have a kitty to fund household needs eg: loo paper.

Looking for a place to settle into for myself and 10 week Toy Poodle Tia. I am originally from Melbourne but made the move to South Australia 6 years ago for the Army and now I am ready to come back. I am friendly, polite, considerate and very easy going. With an Army background I like to keep my living space clean and tidy. My passion is bodybuilding and fitness so if I am not at work you can find me at the gym.
Hi there, I am a french traveller in my early thirties, looking for a cozy place and great people to live with. I am open-minded, pretty easy-going and chilled, very respectful of my flatmates' privacy and also enjoy sharing some time, ideas and opinions around a glass of wine. I also enjoying running or any kind of sport or exercice, especially outdoor, into photography and music, and enjoy cooking from time to time.
Hi there! I am a fun bubbly girl who loves great company and a comfy and lovable home! I am into being active, Rick and Morty, and drinking multiple cups of tea! I speak mandarin and study at the University of Melbourne.
I'm quiet around the house and live a normal 9-5 working life at a major bank. I don't like to party or even drink alcohol/smoke and enjoy the peace and quiet(I've been told I don't snore so I would be a good person to share a room with!), but I'm always up for a friendly nice chat about anything (particularly about anything to do investments and building wealth)or get togethers. I like to have a simple minimalist lifestyle approach so I consider myself quite clean and orderly. I've had experience living overseas and have used Airbnb as well so I'm quite comfortable and easy-going with other people from all backgrounds. Keen to share a place with like-minded people and maybe learn a thing or two from each other.
Hi guys! I am moving to Melbourne for my job and am looking for accommodation that has easy access to the city. I am working full time in sales and on the weekends like to go out for meals and have a few drinks. I'm also really into sport so after work and on the weekends you'll find me at the gym or playing sport. I love to travel and would take any opportunity to explore the world and when at home I love meeting new people and trying new things/places/food! I am an easy going kind of person I like to cook and share meals with my flat mates and keep my place tidy.
I'm a student that is moving to Melbourne in November as I have just found a new exciting permanent job in hospitality within the CBD and want to explore all that Melbourne has to offer. I consider myself a social person that enjoys going out for drinks with friends when I am not working or studying. Recently I have also started to enjoy cooking and I am looking for a place with like-minded flatmates. I am a tidy person and will be someone that helps out with the cleaning when possible. Also, I am reliable with payments of expenses and will be someone to count on in regards to the rent!
The apartment is fully furnished and there are free swimming pool and gym on the ground floor. You have to touch the card to get the entrance of the apartment meaning that the security is guaranteed. It is very convenient to take the tram to wherever you want and the tram stop is very near to the apartment. It will only take you 20min to go to Melbourne University and RMIT and 10min to go to Melbourne Central. The apartment is besides the Yarra river, so the scenery around the apartment is very beautiful and you can enjoy it in the balcony. What's more, there are many supermarkets and shopping malls nearby.

I work, sleep, clean and cook good food. I'm bubbly but enjoy my own space and giving it to others, and like open communication in a household - nothing anyone says ever offends me and I try and be a respectful housemate and adhere to others needs and wants.
Hey :) STUDENT; DEAKIN UNIVERSITY; 25; FRIENDS NOT ROOMMATES LOOKING FOR ROOM CLOSE TO CBD (CARLTON.FITZROY.CBD.EAST MELBOURNE. RICHMIND. PRAHAN. STH YARRA.SOUTHBANK...) Rent until end of feb. I know how annoying it is to find a new flatmate. By now I have underleased my own room in Münster (Germany) four times and every time it’s hard again to find a good match between all the remaining roomies. Anyway, you should not build your opinion on Facebook photos or whatever. But even if you meet someone once it is still hard to figure out who a person really is. I really know what I am talking about ;) This is why I will try to describe myself as accurately as possible and give some information about my background. So first of all, my name is Yannik and I am a 25-year-old exchange student at Deakin University. After finishing school in 2011 I moved to Münster in a flatshare with two other people and started to study business. But to be honest I don’t see myself as a typical “finance business suited management person” and maybe this is why a friend I get to know in Sydney asked me, if I would really study business? :D During my Bachelor degree I did a semester abroad in San Diego, USA. I spent most of the time with my four roommates. This time was one of my best in my life and this is why I decided to do another semester abroad later on during my Master studies. After finishing my Bachelor studies I did a gap year, moved to Munich and did an internship at the Walt Disney Company for 6 months. After that I travelled through Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia and Indonesia for 3 months. Then I started my Master studies with the major in Marketing in October 2015 that I will continue after this semester abroad in April 2017. Besides I would describe myself as an open-minded person. Traveling really helps to think outside the box! and I think I am an over-average tidy person. I don’t really like chaos. I am really interested in sports in general, but especially in football. I am a fan of Borussia Dortmund, so maybe you have heard about the “Yellow Wall” ;). I also have played football at the football club in my hometown, but I also like playing volleyball, basketball and tennis and I try to go skiing once a year in the Alpes. The last 6 months I did CrossFit. Furthermore I am into tv series and movies (e.g. Breaking Bad, House of Cards, Walking Dead…). I watch a lot of Tv series with my flatmates. Last time we finished GoT the second time ;) I also like having a few beers with friends and mostly we go clubbing once a week. Last but not least I am not someone who locks himself in his room. My room door is always open and I don’t know why but in every flat I have lived in, my room evolved into a second living room :D I want to stay in Melbourne for four months (end of February). I would love to hear from you :) Cheers! Or Prost (German)! Yannik

Hey all, My friend (Rachel) and I have recently arrived in Melbourne and looking for a place near the city. We are friendly, outgoing and looking to make new friends. We both like the odd night out but equally enjoy chilling at home with wine and cheese. We would like to start a flatshare with like minded people. If you are interested drop us an email. Look forward to teaming up!
