$470/week•45 year old man
I'm a 45-year-old guy who works full time and a second casual job 3 to 4 nights a week. My day job allows me to work from home 3 to 4 days a week, so need a decent size room so I can work there when WFH. Ive been living on my own for a long time renting but it’s just so expensive. I enjoy hitting the gym, going for walks, and unwinding with Netflix. I value a clean and quiet space but also appreciate a good conversation now and then over a beer or glass or wine and a good meal (I can cook, Im no Heston Blumenthal but simple homely hearty stuff). I don't smoke but don’t care if you do, I don’t have pets but love animals, don’t have kids and prefer it that way. Im looking for a place with max 1 other person, I would like the building to have a gym that I can access easily, based on this my budget would be $500 with gym in building otherwise $450 ish if no gym as need to factor in that cost externally. Id love a split level apartment with upstairs/downstairs bedrooms. I need to give 3 weeks notice in my current place but could, hit me up if you feel this could work :)

Hello, My name's Tyler. I've recently moved back to Australia after living in London for 3 years. I'm from Adelaide but moving to Sydney to keep my career going. Back in London, I worked at the BBC in radio and will be continuing working in that field here. I'm a bit of a mix introvert/extrovert. I love going out and enjoying life; things like theatre, movies, events, trips to the pub, any random activity you can think of I'm up to try anything but at home I'm mixed, I love hanging out and bantering with everybody but can also sometimes enjoy a bit of chill time just playing video games or doom-scrolling when it's needed. I've been living with different flatmates for the past few years, I tended to stay in the same flat for a while until I wanted to try a new area. I'm very respectful of others' space and personalities at home but I also like a friendly living situation, I prefer it when everyone gets along ad friends rather than hotel-vibes where we all just live there and walk around like ghosts not really interacting with each other. Almost every flatmate I've had in the past I'd become good friends with and if that wasn't the vibe, I would've moved on. Let me know if you have more questions :)

Heya! I'm Ameen. A full time professional working in the clean energy ventures space and currently on the hunt for my next temporary home with the right person or crew (2 max) for about 6 months. I'm looking to share a house with more mature people who are self aware and conscious of house sharing basic principles as I really strive to create a clean, healthy and supporting environment in the house, rather than just a transactional type of house sharing (not my thing). Generally speaking, I'm not your typical engineer as I'm a strong extravert with an artistic side to me, that includes dance, fashion, art, food etc. I'm generally a very warm and approachable/social person who's always keen to help others whenever possible. I enjoy having a great meal or a good coffee over meaningful/intellectual conversations with others as life is really too short! In my free time I'm either training, reading, dancing (salsa) or working on some random stuff on the side to keep me stimulated and up to date with everything changing in this world, or just relaxing really lol! I also find peace in being around nature or outdoors in general so hiking is definitely a good weekend activity for me. I like to keep fit and healthy so I do appreciate a non smoking environment in the house with reasonable alcohol consumption as I do believe it sets a tone to the house as a whole. I've been sharing for over 9 years so I'm well aware of the basic principles around shared spaces and just being a considerate housemate in general. I do expect a clean and tidy place at all times so if you're thinking twice about this then probably we won't work lol! Please reach out if you've got a place and looking for the next gem to join you temporarily! Cheers!
