Hi, I'm Gemma. I'm 24 and working casual in retail. $155 is my max budget and I can't go any higher, sorry! My current lease doesn't end until the 31st of January, so I can't move sooner than the 20th of January, 2019. I'm very clean and tidy (I'm allergic to dust so I have to be!) and want to live with others who are as clean as me. I like to think I'm pretty friendly and get along with most people ^_^ I'm allergic to cats even though I love them, so no pets is a priority. Also my dust allergy means that places with hard wood floors and blinds (not carpet and curtains) are super appealing to me!
Furnished / unfurnished bedroom in a modern unit. The room can fit a queen bed comfortably. There is a built in wardrobe and a study nook/ dresser, as well as an extra shelving unit for storage and ceiling fan. There's a separate toilet, air con in the living and a private balcony, plenty of parking on the street. Stafford Shopping Centre is just 3 minutes away and Westfield Chermside 7 minutes. It's a very quiet street but well connected with plenty of busses to the City and QUT (including Express). If this suits you please get in touch
Hey fellas, Clare and myself (Emily), are looking for someone to jump on a lease with us when ours runs out on 20/01/2019. We want someone who is likeminded to join us in the search for a new place!! We have all the essential furniture to fill a house except for your bedroom, but are more than happy for you to bring anything you may have too. We have internet already which will be an additional $20 a month for unlimited adsl. Clare needs her own onsuite so she will be paying the most, and I am happy to negotiate as to who gets the possible garage/larger room etc out of the other 2, and we will be sharing a bathroom. Rent will be roughly $450 all up. Clare works full time and I work part time. We are out of the house a fair bit but love having dinner together and/or hanging out at night time. We're heaps of fun and want someone to be our friends who we can chat to and hang out with, whilst also completely respecting your privacy whenever you want it. We're tidy and clean but not strict and are happy to pick up after each other where needed. If you are interested in moving in with us and helping us pick our next home please contact me via messages and I will get back to you if we think you're a potential match! xxx
I am a Canadian travelling to Australia on a working holiday visa beginning in January. I currently work as an auto mechanic, but I have previously worked and studied culinary arts in a high end restaurant. My hope is to return to this career path during my stay in Brisbane, and wouldn’t mind cooking dinner every now and again to show off my skills. I don’t smoke, and I am a relatively clean and organized person. I tend to fit well in any kind of social group so I’m easy to get along with. Overall I just try to have fun and just enjoy my time, as well as my time with others as much as I can, and try to get the most out of life, and hopefully this matches with a potential flatmate looking to take me in on my long term holiday!
Hello, my name is Brittany! I'm looking for somewhere to live that is a bigger/medium sized room, fairly quiet, clean and somewhat close to public transport (I do have a car) and an all female place or almost all female place. I am a full time student studying Horticulture and I am currently searching for a job. I am looking for a quiet place to live so I can concentrate on my studies without any major distractions, I usually tend to keep to myself but I decided to move out of my current place for more space to live in and more social interactions with housemates somewhat around my age. I would like to move into a place where I can keep some potted plants (I don't have many and they are on the small side).
Hey I'm Aaron, a 25 year old creative designer that's working full time in Brisbane. Currently, I live in the Newmarket area and preferably looking for a place not too far from there. I personally get along well with females and would prefer to live with them. My current living situation (which is only ending because the owners are selling the house) is with three other females - we've lived together for the past 2 years but unfortunately it comes to an end! I'm a pretty relaxed, no stress, clean and tidy kinda guy who understands the need for personal space but also doesn't mind a good chat or quality hang time with friends. I spend most of my weekdays at work making things to look pretty on a computer... but after hours I play both social and competitive Netball. On weekends you'll probably catch me playing netball (again ha), mountain biking, jet-skiing, hanging with friends or even back on the computer catching up on all my favourite TV shows. I've only been in the Brisbane scene for the past two years so it'd be nice living with housemates that occasional embark on odd excursion out of the house here and there. Otherwise the general cleanliness & respect you'd want from anyone else without being a total OCD control freak would be great! Send me a message if you're interested.
Hello, I’m Madii and I’m looking for a new living arrangement. I’m a friendly, neat and respectful person who is looking for a fairly quiet place to live with people I get along with. I’m fairly introverted/ can keep to myself/ bit of a homebody but like to have a chat or watch tv/ movies with housemates. I consider myself pretty nerdy and like going to the cinema, seeing live music, stand up comedy, video games, plants, cooking/baking, crafting and relaxing with a cup of tea. I work casually and am on centrelink but I am always on time with rent and bills, and earn enough to support myself comfortably. I am also actively seeking more work and/or full time employment. I like to keep my space and my home very clean and am looking for people similar. Ideally, I would prefer sharing with just one other person in a 2bed apartment, but I am open to more people and to houses/ townhouses as well. I love dogs and am open to people with pets, as long as they are approved by the real estate/ property manager/owner and are cleaned up after and well-trained. I don’t drink but don’t mind if you do, but I’m not looking for a party house or people who have guests/ partners over all the time. Not interested in living with couples, smokers or drug users. I would prefer something in or very close to Chermside, for work and convenience, but can look elsewhere if need be. I have my own car and would require a parking space, preferably off-street. I get along well with pretty much anyone and am respectful of different cultures, religions, lifestyles and only ask the same, but LGBTQI+ friendly is a requirement for me. I have multiple references as being a good housemate and hope you will consider me! I’m open to team ups as well as existing rooms. I also can bring a lot to a new place! I have a good amount of furniture + appliances for common spaces if need be, and I have a spare king single bed for sale for cheap if you need one.
Hi i‘m Jakob, Italian guy, speaking german/italian/english :) I’m a very friendly , tidy and keen man, always up for a chat, i like going to the beach at the weekend going out with friends and have fun :) I’m as a Labourer around brisbane. :) Would like to get a room in fortitude valley / south brisbane / kangaroo point. Cheers 🙂
At the present time, I am possibly looking to move out Jan/Feb next year at the earliest. So for now, I am looking at places and seeing what is available to get a clear idea of what would be suitable. I am currently a personal companion/carer for a young woman with a severe disability. I enjoy reading, swimming, watching movies, doing DIY projects- generally attempt reusable items. I have lived in Brisbane my whole life. I have had hearing loss since birth and have hearing aids and assistive devices to aid me.
I have a very friendly, chatty personality and I'm eager to meet some people who are like me :) Im 21 years old and enjoy going out and having a social lifestyle. I am quite a clean person who loves cooking and exercising frequently :) I occasionally smoke so please keep this in mind when reading my profile. I'm looking to move in sometime around the end of January, I can adjust this date slightly to benefit you if we both agree that I would make a good fit in your household :). I would like to be in a house with people I could become good friends with although I will be studying full time and working casually so I won't be lingering around the place all the time. I also enjoy some alone time so you won't get sick of me hanging around in the common areas 24/7, however I'm always keen on hanging out and having some drinks or doing whatever with you! Send me a message if you would like to know anything else about me :)))
Hi guys, I’m 32 I work full time, moved to brisbane in March of last year from Adelaide sadly my current house mate has hitched up with his partner and I’m needing to move out. I’m a chef by trade so I can cook, I’m a clean and tidy person and love great company. I have 2 dogs which are with me now so I need to have some sort of backyard for them as well. I’m a non smoker or drug taker so there will never be any issues on that end. Thanks :)
I’m looking to start a new household with another female, preferably close in age to myself. I’m 22, work full time and have an 11 month old toy cavoodle. He is very well behaved, quiet and pretty well toilet trained. I would love a housemate that will occasionally join in on weekend adventures and movie nights at home. I also enjoy time to myself and am very respectful of space and privacy. Wanting to move into a townhouse, house or villa. Something with at least a small grassed courtyard for my dog and a garage. I will be ready to move mid January. Would love to catch up for a coffee or chat on the phone to discuss!
Hi! I am looking for a nice place to live in the northern suburbs. I have good references from my past landlords and flatmates and I also always try to keep the house tidy and clean. So you have found a win-win. I'd like to live with people around my age that enjoy outdoor activities, but also video games, long chats and learn new languages (I'm Spanish). I find almost every single geek thing interesting- if your passion isn't on my list I probably will give it a go. I'm really open-minded, sociable, pet-friendly and LGBT friendly. I'm a fan of laughing and having good moments with some wine but I'm not a party person. If you think you drink too much I won't be very keen tbh. I'm open to team-ups and get a whole unit with somebody else. I just need a good quality/reasonable price accommodation to live in the long-term. If it sounds good don't hesitate to send a message. I'm pretty flexible if the offer is good! See ya :) My Instagram is Jamesdorta, just in case you can´t contact me
Hey, we are a young couple looking for some like-minded chill people to rent a house with. we have been together for about 3 years, we don't party, or smoke. we are into living a healthy lifestyle and training. Megan is studying nursing and psychology and works as a Barista (the coffee is the best in Brisbane!!). Cleaning up after yourself is a must, but we don't mind doing someone else's dishes as long as it goes both ways. :) we are looking to create a friendly, considerate and comfortable home environment. We understand that living with a couple might not be ideal for some, but we can assure we are very normal, calm people who value courtesy and respect. We are quite busy people with work and studying, so we aren't around that much. We are looking for a moderately big house with 4 bedrooms with open living, a great kitchen and several bathrooms. Zach is starting a PT business from home so will need garage space. we are looking to get a dog in the future, so we also welcome any dogs. We are currently inspecting places and will hopefully move out in December. Cheers, Megan and Zach
I work full time at a uni. About to start a Masters part time. I love music, bands and nature. Not up for party house would like chilled out home. I am social and outgoing but also need time out and space. I have two lovely cats that are both indoors and outdoors. Ideally I am looking for a space that is entirely mine such as s granny flat with separate entrance and own kitchen or team up with one person for a house ! I have furniture for a small household so looking for a large living space that can accommodate my things.

I'm very clean and tidy to live with, respectful of privacy but would also love living with someone/people who are friendly and easy going. I'm by no menas a party animal but do enjoy being social and having the occasional drink at home/night out. I love cooking and if you have pets I'll probably love them equally as much! Hoping to find likeminded housemate/s
Currently living on the beachy south coast of NSW, but wanting to move to Brisbane once I’ve found the right property! In my early 20’s, currently working part-time but will eventually transfer to the area in the new year preferrably early February! Easy to get along with and a very outgoing gal! Like to keep my room/place clean so won’t have a problem with me being dirty. Love to have a good chat, go on adventures, have a eat/drink at the pub 🤦♀️😂 or even have a good movie night and I can cook! Also love my own company at times so won’t be that annoying flat mate!
