The name is Travis, I'm 28, friendly, laid back, single, gay, super clean, super tidy and a non smoker. I'm not a party animal but don't mind going into the city or somewhere nice for a couple drinks on the rare occasion. I'm currently working night shifts as a Hospital Services Assistant at the St Vincent's Private Hospital which is located in Chermside. Ideally I would love to find a place that has the following: - Pet free - Smoke free - Drug free - LGBT friendly - Air-conditioned bedroom - Non party house - Garage or carport parking - 1 other person maybe 2 max depending on the person/situation - Queen size room with built in (Unfurnished) - Ensuite bathroom - Storage area - Genuinely clean, as I am really clean myself so ideally I'd like my future housemate to be the same. If you like what you read and feel I'm suitable please don't hesitate to message me. :)
I'm an easy going person, I enjoy some personal space when I get home but am friendly and love a good chat or laugh. Im not a party animal so would like to live with like minded people. I'm very respectful, pay my bills on time and enjoy relaxing or seeing friends on my time off. I work full time And long hours Including Saturday’s but have Wednesdays and Sundays off. I do have an indoors cat who is the sweetest thing and loves a cuddle and pat. He's completely house trained and will be my responsibility. He’s been around other cats before and isn’t aggressive but a bit shy. My work is moving to Albion so I’m looking for somewhere close to there. Let me know if you would like to know more 😊
Hi everybody, I am renting this lovely room in my 4-double bedroom house in Stafford. Every room has a double bed, side bed, air conditioning, shelves etc., so it works perfectly for a single person as well as for a couple. We share a very large living room/kitchen with couches and a large TV where you'll have your own drawers and a full fridge for yourself!!! (We have two fridges) You can find the Stafford Shopping Centre within 2 min walk (Woolworths, Aldi, BigW, Bunnings, Hoyts Cinema, McDonald's, etc.). We are also conveniently located at 2 min walking distance from several bus stops that go towards the city (20 minutes ride, buses # 375, 335, 325, 353 and others...). The other people living in the house are aged between 22 to 34. We are all easy-going and we enjoy a chat or a drink every now and then, so you will join in a friendly environment. Nevertheless, we all wake up around 6 am most days so we try to keep the house quiet after 11 pm as a rule. Any gender is welcome but preferred female to make equilibrium in the house, 18 to 35 years old. You must be respectful with the other housemates and clean after yourself when you use the common area. This is necessary. Smoking is allowed only outside. The rent is $170/week (single), or $210/week for a couple (or share), and it includes all bills as well as Wi-Fi ADSL. A four-week bond is required upon entrance. For any question or to arrange an inspection call me (Francesco). I will get back to you ASAP.
I am looking for a large room with an in-built wardrobe, and space for a double bed. Most bills included. Quiet, mature and tidy. I like to keep to myself as I’m tired a lot but enjoy a wine and plenty of Netflix.
Hi, my name is Andre, I'm from Brazil. I'm looking for a clean and tidy place to live with a respectful enviroment. I consider myself laid back and easy going, I like to socialise but I also keep to myself. I love animals so I don't have a problem with that and neither with any type of sexual orientation of anyone. I'm looking for a place free from procrastination and smoking. I am a student working full time so I will be spending most of the time of the day out of the house, however I’m always open for a chat and a beer! If you think that we could get along please reach me, thanks.
Hi :-) I'm looking for a place from 16th Jan. The ideal room would be large, built in cupboard, aircon and own bathroom. The ideal housemates would be relaxed people around my age who are neat, tidy and respectful. I don't party but love a glass of wine and a chat. I like to keep common areas clean. I have a small dog who loves people and other dogs. He's very friendly and naps a lot. Sleeps in his pen overnight. I work full time in healthcare and keep busy with the gym, netball and baking and walking the dog. Look forward to hearing from you! Thanks!
Hi, my name is Alannah. Im a 29yo female aussie and im looking to find a new home at the end of my lease in early march 2020. What I am looking for: I'm looking for either a room in an existing household with 1-2 others, or if you want to team up with me and find a rental together send me a message. Prefer with other females, im looking to make friends with my housemates. I would like to find a place with modern features and a small grass yard or some access to grass for my dog. Property must have screens on doors and windows. About me: Im a great cook and im a gamer not a partier. You won't find me coming in at 3am, drunk after a night out. I enjoy having movie nights and hanging out with my housemates instead. I have a small dog and a cat who would be moving with me so im looking for somewhere pet friendly. I work full time as a vet tech so I can bring free veterinary advise to the table. Im hoping to find a place I can feel comfortable with my housemates, enjoy spending time with them and trust them to treat my pets as well as I do. My only request of my housemates is that they respect my wishes to keep my cat indoors and be mindful when opening doors and keeping doors shut. In that sense your listing would need to have screens on the doors and windows. Looking forward to hearing from you. :)
Hey 🙂 I’m 23 and work at Coles and do Uber eats on the side. I am clean, tidy, love to have a nice homey but clean place and am drama free. I don’t judge people for who they are whether they’re Gay, goth, like a different pizza topping than I do or anything like that. We are all people with feelings at the end of the day. I don’t smoke, don’t do drugs, I don’t have any pets, I like the occasional drink but am happy to have a quiet drink to myself. I’m chill, love doing art, having a chat, watching tv, cooking, eating pizza, and I’m certainly not a party animal or into dramatic untrustworthy housemates. I also like to just keep to myself and have my downtime and respect people’s privacy. I prefer the same or similar people and someone who doesn’t smoke or have any pets as I’m allergic to pet hair ect. I’m looking to do a team up with one other person in a New rental in chermside/ Nundah Area as I work in Redcliffe and don’t want to drive too far for work. Also prefer a place with two bathrooms as I like and need my own bathroom. My current lease ends on the 7th January 2020 however i don’t have to move out until the 21st of January, so I’m fairly flexible if you can’t move until mid January or around the time. I have already inspected a few places available for then and have some photos I’ve taken of them. Just need to find that nice, chill, clean, friendly and tidy reliable flat mate to apply for the rental properties with me. I have some furniture, fridge, washing machine, tv, coffee table, timber dining table ect. I also have an air bed if you don’t have a bed yet to use 🙂 I’m a clean as I go type but don’t mind a dish or two in the sink as long as it gets put in the dishwasher or washed properly at some point. I have a very good rental record and have great people skills. Would love to get to know some people to see if we are compatible as flat mates. Maybe get a coffee or something to see if we are likeminded 🙂
Hi Potential New Housemate, My name is John, I'm a 24yrs old Dutch guy who's in Australia since May 2018. To give you an impression of my time in Australia I decided to devide my stay here into periods: - May 2018 - October 2018 The first five months of my stay I have traveled the whole continent by car, together with a friend of mine. After he went back to Amsterdam I decided to stay in Australia for a longer time. - October 2018 - May 2019 To make this possible I had to fulfill my 88 days of farmwork requirements, which I did in the Sunshine Coast. I lived together with the couple Tommy & Jon (40+) in The Glass House Mountains for seven months. A one week AirBnb-stay turned into a small gay household for more than seven months, the best period of my life! - May 2019 - November 2019 Back home in The Netherlands I have worked as an IKEA Sales man for 4 years, so it was an easy step to work for IKEA in Brisbane as well. As soon as my farmwork requirements were fulfilled and my Visa extension was approved I moved to Camp Hill, Brisbane. I've worked as a CheckOut coworker for 6 months at IKEA Logan. - November 2019 - Future At the moment I'm working as a Sales Coworker again at IKEA North Lakes. I'm living in the beautiful area of Lutwyche together with my housemate. Unfortunately the lease of our appartent will run out in January 2020 and the rental company doesn't allow us to stay another five months (only 12 months extentions are allowed...), so I need to search for another place to live for the last 4,5 months of my stay in Australia. My contract at IKEA North Lakes is 40+ hours, what means that I'm away for work a lot. I have my own car as well, so that makes me fully independant. I'm aiming for a place to stay at the Northside of the river where I can stay till the end of my Visa period (May 2020). Are you the potential housemate who can offer that to me? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- About myself: My spare time consist of a lot of social activities, because I like to catch up with people and learn from them. I'm not a party type at all, but am always in for a casual drink and a chat. That's also the reason that I don't want to live by myself. It's simply too boring. Unfortunately it's still a necessity to mention nowadays.... I'm gay. All my former housemates were very open minded and also accepted me to invite friends to come over for a casual drink and a sleepover every now and then. Please know that I'm someone with a 'professional'-mindset, what means that I am aware of my housemates, their privacy and happy to adjust myself where possible. It's common sense for me to take part in the house hold tasks. A clean and tidy environment is a must for me. Maybe a bit stereotypical, but that's why I rather live with professionals than with students. I'm very curious what you think about my background and my vision of life. Preferably I want to move in as soon as possible, but am open to dates a little bit further in the future. Wanna grab a coffee to discuss the possibilities? Would like to hear from you. Dutch greetings, Gr. John
