I have just returned from a 2 year working holiday in New Zealand which was fantastic! I was born in Brisbane. Currently looking for work but can pay rent (I am not on benefits). I don't smoke, I am clean and super tidy. I am also a minimalist and cannot live with clutter but as I have quite a bit of stuff in storage I'm looking for a granny flat of my own. I've tried to change the settings on my profile but it didn't work so my apologies if you were searching for a flatmate. Am pretty quiet and not a big fan of loud TVs but do occasionally enjoy a 'singfest' (private karaoke) when no one else is around. I am also a bit 'anal' about turning off lights, stand-by items etc. as I detest waste plus it saves electricity. Hot days and particularly nights I find hard to cope with so if there is air-conditioning I will use it but I try to keep to a minimum as it is expensive. Another reason why I like to turn off electrical items that aren't being used, keeping cool at night so I can sleep is more important. I have a reference from a previous rental property (Brisbane), plus police check dated 2015 which I needed for work in NZ as well as a NZ police check dated 2016. That's me in a nutshell.
Hi Myself and my very well behaved 17yr old cat are looking for a nice place to live, preferably in the inner northern suburbs - I work full time in as a retail store manager at Chermside. I'd love to find a house with air-conditioning, good internet, and hopefully a bit of extra space for activities. Ideally I want to team up with 2 - 3 people to get a nice place and cheapen the rent. I've put down inner north suburbs, if there is one close I haven't listed just assume its cool
Hi, I've got a lovely big house for share set at Parton St Stafford Heights available for viewing anytime. It's got 5 bedrooms plus a study, 3 bathrooms, 2 seperate living areas, double garage, aircon, surveillance cameras and covered patio. It's 2 minutes walk to bus stop, 10 minutes walk to cafes & restaurants, 24/7 fitness, supermarkets and banks, 10 minutes drive to Westfield Chermside, 20 minutes drive to city, 14 minutes to QUT Kelvin Grove, and 20 minutes to airport. Water and internet bills included, share electricity bill. The airconed master bedroom available downstairs is the only bedroom downstairs and has direct access to the backyard. Currently only looking for one other housemate so it would be 3-4 girls sharing and we still have plenty of room to move around. Please smoke outside only.
MOVE IN DATE: i dont know when to move in, i have to give my landlord 2 weeks notice if i was to move in, but yeah, i just put that date bc i didnt know what to put I'm just looking for a good place that allows pets, my cat is 2 years old, hes a pretty boy, loves sleeping and most of them he is never actually near or in the house, he loves to go out and explore. he is not desexed yet, which i will most likely be getting him desexed next week after 23rd of august. Im neat, clean, tidy, i like to have things clean and im always quiet. my life consists of sleeping in bed on days off or going out to the shops with my friends, not a party person, only go out occasionally for like a celebration or somewhat of the sort. I'm currently in a place right now which i moved in just a few weeks ago, but things have happened and i need to bring my cat down from sunshine coast and he has no where to go, and the place im in, doesnt allow cats, dogs only, so yeah. LGBT+: im lgbt+ friendly if anyone was wondering
Very conveniently located with Coles and bus stops within very easy walking distance, as well as a number of food options, gym etc. The living area is air conditioned, but the house stays lovely and cool during summer and there are amazing breezes due to the elevated position. The place is really well equipped so all you need is your bedroom furniture and you're set!
Hi There, This one is available now. Newly renovated bathroom and toilet. One room is a double with double built ins and the other one is standard with standard built ins. It’s a central location with plenty of parking so you can typically find parking right in front, under the carport or under the house which is lockable. We have local shops such as Coles, baker, butcher, newsagent, pizza place and the like nearby. Public transportation is really close as well and with all this so close you may not need to use a car. The rooms are not furnished so you can bring your things. There is even space for your lounge and table and the like. The house is fully fenced.
I am a 43 year single dad. My little girl is 3 years old and I do have her anything up to 50% of the time. It is a share custody agreement that we decide as we go, depending on the needs of both her and her mum on the week ahead. My daughter is very important to me, so it is important for me to find a room suitable for the two of us to live in. We do cosleep so an extra bed in the room would not be necessary. I do have most of my own furniture, but will to put some in storage if the need arises. I have just recently graduated from a Diploma of Human Resources Management, so am currently looking for work in this field to kick start my new career. In saying that I am determined to find work in the near future, so on the days I dont have my daughter, Im usually busy trying to find suitable employment. I am very responsible with rent, and pay on the day it is due fortnightly as a first priority. I have lived in the same Stafford Residence for three years since my daughters mother and I separated, and quite happy to produce references to show there will never be an issue with my rent, am clean and tidy, respectful, and an allround awesome housemate. Before I livedin my current Residence, I lived in Everton Park, where my daughter is currently residing. In saying that am quite happy to take my time in moving to find the right house and right fit for my daughter, as it is important to me to find something long term as want to be able to provide stability for my little girl. I am a man of word however, and definatly want to do the right thing by my current landlord, so from the date an agreement is made with us, I would have to give him two weeks notice. It is important to me to stay relatively close to the area of Everton Park/Stafford as I dont have transport, and need to be close to my daughter in case of any emergencies that may arise if needed. My life very much does revolve around my munchkin. I have not worked an exact dollar amount I can afford in rent at the moment but hoping for something along the price range of up to $160 per week, although this amount is mentioned it is just a rough estimate until i can work out the figures with an exact dollar amount, as budgeting is also very important to me in my situation so willing to go higher but prefer to go smaller. I am very honest person and tells it is how it is, so I am saying if there is a bond, an arrangement would have to be made to pay it off with my rent upon my tenancy starting, as I honestly do not have that sort of money upfront. Im not sure how all this works so if your interested please get back to me asap with a number or contact details, and be only to happy to contact you as soon as possible. Kind Regards Steven
I am a full time student who does full time hours at work too. I love to have a chat and make dinner and don't mind a drink or two on the weekend. I keep to myself and am pretty tidy.
It 5min drive to chermside shops has aldi 2min up the road. Has a big out door area for entertaining. There is wireless that comes with the rent. It has a carport big enough for 2 cars. The room doesn't come with a ceiling fan but has two windows, it is also at the back of the house away from the road. I have a pet turtle that came with the house aswell so would have to help look after him.

Hi there, Just moved from Canberra to Brisbane for a job in Chermside. I'm a graduate paramedic, who in part time enjoys sports, exercising and going out and about. I'm looking for a share accomodation which would be accomodating to my sporadic work schedule and well developed sense of humour. I am house trained, an average cook but make up in cleanliness I'm looking for initially 6 months with an option to extend further/forever Please get back to me and we sort something out Brendan
Hey, Im currently searching for a nice 2 or 3 bedroom house to live in and looking for some cool people to live with on the North side of Brisbane. Im a pretty chilled person, very sociable and love to have a wine or a beer after work, but also fine to have my alone time when it comes to it. I like to keep a clean house, although in saying that I'm more than happy to be the one cleaning it. I have a tiny cat that would be coming with me- very cute, and a house worth of furniture with all the necessities. xo A
Relocating to Brisbane for work and would like to share a place until I get settled in (though if it works well then hey, great!). Single professional lady, non smoker, no pets. I am not a party type, and don't know anyone in the area so will be pretty quiet! Though I do like socialising and am friendly. I generally work 8am-6pm four days a week. I'm allergic to cats (though I do love them!), and generally prefer to share with men, or a share house with at least one man (nothing personal ladies), however I'm open to discussions. Thank you for looking at my profile!
Hi! I'm Jordan. I'm 19 and working at specsavers (you get to hear me talk about glasses a lot which is either a pro or a con depending on your level of enthusiasm for glasses). When I'm not working I'm hiding out watching movies or exploring the city, depends how adventurous I'm feeling. I also try to get to the gym a couple times a week (key word is try) and am planning on getting into indoor soccer again if I find the time. I like to think I'm a fairly clean person so won't be leaving a mess all over the place. Feel free to send me through a message if you're interested in us staying together!
Hey I am looking for a few friendly, respectful and working/studying people to team up to rent a sharehouse. About me: I am working full time in Carsendale and studying at UQ (IT, PHD), so it would be nice to team up with some students or professionals. I am a hard worker, but don't mind to socialise from time to time. I don't smoke and hardly ever drink alcohol. I am a clean, reliable, easy going person and respect others' privacy. I enjoy hiking and bush-walking as well as conversations with a cup of tea :-) Feel free to contact me if you keen to team up or have a spare room.
Hi everybody, I am renting this lovely room in my 4-double bedroom house in Stafford. Every room has its own en-suite bathroom with toilet, sink, shower, double bed, air conditioning, a desk, a chair, shelves etc., so it works perfectly for a single person as well as for a couple. We share a very large living room/kitchen with couches and a large TV where you'll have your own drawers and a full fridge for yourself!!! (We have three fridges) You can find the Stafford Shopping Centre within 2 min walk (Woolworths, Aldi, BigW, Bunnings, Hoyts Cinema, McDonald's, etc.). We are also conveniently located at 2 min walking distance from several bus stops that go towards the city (20 minutes ride, buses # 375, 335, 325, 353 and others...). The other people living in the house are one girl and three guys, all of us working and studying, aged 25 to 35. We are all easy-going and we enjoy a chat or a drink every now and then, so you will join in a friendly environment. Nevertheless, we all wake up around 6 am most days so we try to keep the house quite after 11 pm as a rule. Any gender is welcome but preferred female to make equilibrium in the house, 18 to 35 years old. You must be respectful with the other housemates and clean after yourself when you use the common area. This is necessary. Smoking is allowed only outside in the verandah. The rent is $170/week, or $210/week for a couple, and it includes all bills as well as Wi-Fi ADSL. A two-week bond is required upon entrance. For any question or to arrange an inspection txt me (Francesco). I will get back to you ASAP.
This apartment is super close to public transport, and takes only around 10-15 minutes to get to the city. It's all completely furnished besides your room! Water is included in the rent but electricity is separate. Internet is available but it's also separate from the rent. There is a bond payment of $620 and also a fortnights rent in advance.
I have a room to rent in my home in (Brisbane, West Chermside). It’s a quite area with space for another vehicle in a lock up garage and there is plenty of street parking for visitors right out front. If you do not have a vehicle we have local shops nearby, plenty of parks, walking trails and public transport leading direct to CBD, RBWH, TPCH as well so room may suit a hospital worker/student. Several gyms within walking distance as well. The room can be furnished with a queen bed, and dresser or rented unfurnished. Prefer room to be rented unfurnished. Room has built in cupboard. Foxtel tv and Netflix in the main living areas, utilities and wi-fi included in rent. My new roommate will have access to the large common areas of the home, pool table, living room, laundry with dryer, personal fridge/freezer, kitchen and sole use of the main bathroom/separate washroom. Ideally, I’m looking for someone to stay at least six months, outside smoker if applicable, clean and not too noisy. If this sounds like it might suit you, contact me. There are two dogs already on the property but both are very friendly and easy going so unfortunately I cannot allow additional dogs to stay due to Council regulations. One is a female Golden Retriever and the second is a Dogue de Bordeaux. No other rooms are occupied.
