Walking distance to everything you need in Stockton - beach, pubs, shops. The ferry is right at your doorstep too and runs every 15 mins to Newcastle CBD. Chilled townhouse with unlimited internet and two decks with views of the harbour.
Hi I’m Lisha & I’m moving to Newcastle from my hometown Dubbo to start university. I am a very tidy person so I always clean up after myself because I hate a mess. I love to have fun & socialise but also like quiet time to myself so would love for my future roomie to be the same. :)
The View?! What can I say?! Never tire of sunset and looking straight across at the brewery and Christchurch cathedral as the town lights up! ❤️️ Two story three bedroom house filled with gorgeous 60's and 70's vintage, mainly Parker furniture. One bedroom upstairs and two down with a cozy lounge room and full entertainment system and great communal area/ open plan lounge/ dining / kitchen area that boasts the best view of Newcastle. Off from the communal area are also a massive separate laundry, bathroom and toilet. One downstairs bedroom is yours and the other is set up as a basic gym complete with matting, floor to ceiling mirrors, sit-up bench, hand weights and Olympic bar. Great for yoga, stretching and some basic strength training if you are so inclined. The other bedroom is the quietest in the house with a window to the quiet and protected backyard. Right next to the ferry wharf so you have 3 ways to get into town or to the uni, drive, ferry, or bus, all at your front door! I am away almost every second weekend and work a lot so if you are looking for a party house skip my profile please, but if you are looking for a bit of a sanctuary to come home to please contact me. Rent etc is negotiable. I am house proud and would like somebody who likes to help keep the place tidy.
The quietness. A quick ferry and you’re in town. Great place for someone who works in the Newcastle cbd area or who is attending the UON city campus. Fully furnished house, two streets from the beach. This place has a large rear entertainment space with bbq, outdoor furniture and a jacuzzi.
Hi, we are Pablo and Nicole! We've been living in the Gold Coast recently, and are currently looking for a place near the beach in Newcastle, where we can work and study, while enjoying the beautiful things this city has to offer. We both love nature, reading, travelling and adventures. Social at times, but also respectful of neighbours' privacy. Nicole is a novelist and travel writer. I run a small marketing company while finishing my postgraduate degree at the University of Newcastle. We both love animals, water-sports and quiet evenings enjoying the sounds of the waves, with maybe a glass of wine and a good movie. We are especially excited about the idea of living around Bar Beach, Stockton or Merewether Beach. Cheers :)
Full time architectural drafter, looking for a place closer to work and the beach. Like to keep myself busy over the weekends, but happy to grab a casual drink during the week. Not overly good at talking about myself, so just hit me up if you want to know more
Hello ! I am french and I obtained my bachelor's degree in management last year and I want to perfect my English in Australia for one or two years. I arrived 3 months ago in Newcastle and I am now looking for a room or a flatsharing. I am very clean and tidy, friendly, sociable, easy going and I love meeting people !
Bubbly, Explorer, Honest (written by my friends). Short info: Sensible and considerate. Believer of healthy, non-passive aggressive communication. *Laying it out early to facilitate mutual understanding 🙈: I dislike cluttered/dirty shared environment with items often misplaced (e.g., kitchen, living area). I’m sure we all want to live in a liveable home with considerate members. I don’t mind performing occasional acts of service, but unless the relationship greatly makes up for that, I’d honestly be disappointed and upset if I have to repeatedly clean up after someone. Detailed info: I'm a smiley introvert—albeit an energetic one—who grew up in a small island (country) called Singapore. I'm pretty 'flexible' in the sense where I have a huge range of interests. I love cozying up on the couch or a café with a good book; I'm really outdoorsy at the same time— I love taking walks and I do boxing. I spread my time between outdoor activities, fitness, culinary and my bachelor degree (psych; UoN, honours year). I have high empathy level (ps. I know how to read the atmosphere ;)), and I'm absolutely passionate about spreading love, smiles and joy. I love being the tiny ball of concentrated sunshine amongst my friends even though I'm an introvert and that means my battery does go flat sometimes. But it fills up my heart knowing that I've made someone feel more pleasant— even if it's just for a second! It's all worth it. You may have realized by now after reading all that I've typed that I'm an open book 😊 Hit me up if you think that you’d be happy (not just ‘okay’) living with me!
28 year old Kiwi gal looking for a friendly place to make my new home. I work full time at KOFM/Hit106.9. Like to balance my social time and down time - so I'm fun but not in your face about it all the time. I'm clean and respectful 😊
I'm from Denmark, currently taking a year off between school and uni (I'm going to study electronic engineering and robotics) to work and have fun, I've lived in Newcastle before so I speak fluent English and know (somewhat) my way around town :) I love going to the beach, hanging out (with or without a drink) and cooking, looking to find/start a flat share with people keen to make friends!
From the Central Coast , looking to move to Newcastle end of July as Im studying midwifery and working part time in Newcastle. I'm easy going, respectful and clean and don't mind an occasional wine or two.
Moved to Newy sometime during the first week of August from my costal hometown, Yamba and looking to start uni next year. I'd consider myself a caring person who absolutely loves making new friends. As much as I love time to myself and respect that others will too, I'll never be one to turn down a moment to procrastinate in any way or form. I'm a lover of the ocean, red wine, dogs, Netflix, photography, travel, clothes and all things good. Social wise- I do like to go out occasionally, but drinks out the back will always take the cake. Cheese platters are very good too. Would love to live with others that are fun, caring and honest about things... Feel free to suggest for coffee and a chat if you're interested as I'd love to hear from you.

Hello, I'm 19 years old moving to Newcastle to study Business/Commerce at University. I'm friendly and social and enjoy hanging out with friends, being active and going to the beach. I'm a clean and tidy person that respects other people's items and space. Looking to share a house with friendly like minded people.
Hi, I am a very friendly and active person. I love the beach and going on adventures but also like to chill and reflect. I enjoy a drink every now and then and a bit of a chat but not really a party person but love to go for walks and coffee. I work in hospitality casually even though it's more like full time hours and am currently studying. I am very tidy and looking for a place close to everything with good vibes and friendly housemates.
Hi, name's David I'm a recently graduated electrical engineer working full time at Honeysuckle and looking to move closer to work and the city. I'm 25 years old and would prefer to move in with people of a similar age. I'm easy going, caring and open minded. I love being social, although I also respect when people want their own space. I don't mind a casual drink during the week or going out on the weekend and I'll never say no to drinks/dinner with friends. I'm a pretty decent cook and know how to keep a place clean. Looking to move into a place in the next month or so.
I am a friendly and charasmatic individual who enjoys the company of others, but I also enjoy my own space. I am tidy and respectful of other belongs. I enjoy socialising and being out and about, so I am rarely home if the sun is out!
Howdy hey! I'm Anna and I'm 20 years old. I'm looking to rent a room in the Newcastle Area such as Cooks Hill, Wickham, Hamilton, Maryville etc and may consider Charlestown/Kahibah/Adamstown Area - but not further south! Basically, to sum me up:- - Employed Full Time at a Law Firm - Vegan - Does CrossFit (yea I'm a walking meme, I know) - Enjoys a beer or 10 - Great record collection that you're most likely envious of - Loves preparing food and sharing with others I also have a Golden Retriever named Tyson. He's an old boy, he's 13 this year but he is still a puppy to me.. I would love to bring him along! He's quiet and doesn't bark at anyone or anything, he's very social and is super well behaved - he's a VERY good boy. If he were a human, you'd have a beer with him at pub because he's an all round good bloke. I'm willing to pay $50 extra a week to bring Tyson along. I'm looking to live somewhere clean, tidy, not a weekly party house but dinners/drinks on the odd occasion ok. I enjoy my space and privacy, but also enjoy hangin out. A veggie patch or lemon tree would be cool too! Please let me know if you have a room available in the above mentioned areas!
So unfortunately my landlord has decided to sell (living on Darby street and love it). So a little about myself. I'm accountant working full time for a firm in the CBD. Will be finishing my CA this year (two semesters). Before this I spent the last two years travelling Europe. And will be off again this year for four weeks to the Russia World Cup. If you enjoy travelling and/or the NRL we will most likely get along. Into my league and having a beer come Friday. Definitely not after a party house, but enjoy hanging out with the people I live with. I also have a bit of furniture from prior to going overseas - BBQ, TV, TV cabinet, lounges, outdoor setting, table and chairs, fridge, washing machine, mower, Xbox, Nintendo 64 etc. I also have a small dog currently with the parents, that I would ideally like to bring with me if it works out. Hope to hear from you soon!!
I am quiet and sociable at the same time. I am flexible and looking for a friendly environment to live in. I am clean and care about cleaning. However, I am not obsessed with cleaning. I like to agree on cleaning rules with other mates. I do not smoke, drink (I drink very occasionally), do not have a pet. Please feel free to ask any question or more information.
Hi! I'm a full time art student - starting degree in Natural History Illustration next year at UON.. and work weekends in retail. Long term preferred. Looking to move between early to mid January (when the lease is up here). Thanks to a greedy tax man.. (somehow ended up OWING money this year 🤔) ..I'm not in a position to provide much bond/rent in advance at this stage.. 0-2 weeks bond is all I can commit to for now. Looking for a large room - I have a drawing table+computer desk I'll need to fit in there, I’ll probably downsize to a double bed so I can squeeze more into a room. not a big party person, being 30(ish) i prefer red wine and cheese platters to beer bongs, but do enjoy a good bevvy filled banter in the yard and a cheeky night out once in a while. veggie patch (or potential for one) and a nice yard space would be awesome. red wine is the nectar of the gods and cheese platters complete with crackers, dips and cured meat selection are dinners of champions who can't be bothered with real food. chocolate is a constant. disney isn't just for kids. quite happy to be anywhere on the scale of keeping to ourselves or becoming BFF's. i have a very clean indoor/outdoor cat. gypsy, she's a beautiful ginger kitty, v. small. she kinda hates everyone (not mad just very very shy). so won't be all up in your business. spends most of her time asleep in the shade or on my bed at night. If i can give her access outside via a window in my room she's likely to not ever venture into other parts of the house. not a clean freak so I’m not going to lose the plot if you leave a dish out for a day but if things start growing in the sink and fridge that's not cool.
We are Claire and Agnès, french students who are looking for a place in Newcastle. We will arrive in the city in February and we will study until July in the University of Newcastle, City Precinct. We would like to find a shared house or flat with other students to meet new people.
Hi, I am a 31 year old female working professional and part time student. I work full time, sometimes weekends, and study so I am not always around but when I am I really respect my flatmates space. That being said, I am also more than happy to catch up over a meal or wine :) I am tidy, respectful, easy going and friendly. Happy to answer any questions! Tristan :)
Im moving to Newie to start my masters degree! I love surfing, playing with my dog, reading and music. I will be busy with Uni so I'm looking for a chilled home vibe during the week but don't mind friends over etc. My partner Chris is a professional tiler and Loves the beach... so doesn't Lama our 4 yr old border collie. We want to live amongst people that are chill, open and honest so we can co-create them good vibes! We are seeking either a whole house (in which we invite like minded individuals to team up with us!) or a room in a chill share house. Please feel free to message me anytime, about anything! Lots of love, Murphy, Chris and Lama
Emma and Kieran here! We are your standard description of a fun, friendly and easy going couple, who are welcoming and like to make new friends. We are both full time professionals working Monday to Friday as environmental consultants. We have one currently unemployed, awesome and low maintenance dog called Willow who is a 3 year-old small Corgi X (?). Current landlord can provide reference for us as well as for the dog. We are hoping to find a new place to jump into when our lease ends in February. Can provide any further details upon request. Thanks! ☺️
I'm super friendly, super keen and super cleanly, I'm always up for a chat but I have to say, I'm pretty good at reading social cues; so if you like your space, I'm cool with that too. I will most likely be at uni, the beach or gym most days, but I'm keen to find a bunch of people that are open to a good pre-game sesh Friday/Saturday/the odd Sunday and like to go out in Newcastle and have a good time. I think as long as you can handle banter, we'll get on alright :))))
