Hi potential house buddy, I recently moved from Mornington Peninsula (Vic) to Newcastle for work. Fun, friendly, down to earth, young for age and handy in the kitchen so maybe we'll share the odd dinner together. Will be away 1-2 nights a week with work. Enjoy a good red and banter and will be outdoors (diving and/or sailing and/or kayaking) on weekends, and away say 50% weekends. Currently friendless locally but it doesn't take long via the sailing/diving scene. I am moving into a furnished apartment at Stockton on 18 Aug 2017 which is booked for 4 weeks but happy to move into a more permanent abode anytime in September. My housemates would be a bit older than the average person on this site, say 35+, and friendly, working and active (not a total home bod). Ideally the pad will be close to the water and cafes and mid-up market and more likely a house than a unit. Outlook is important so a view and/or garden is important. Have most of the kitchen stuff and lots of toys (kayak, dive gear, fishing gear, outdoor stuff). I have culled most of the furniture as part of a fresh start strategy and happy to chip in a few K to help deck out the pad. Ideally looking for a spacious existing home or a team up with 1-2 compatible prof/semi prof people and get a place. Hopefully speak soon, cheers Kieran
The View?! What can I say?! Never tire of sunset and looking straight across at the brewery and Christchurch cathedral as the town lights up! ❤️️ Two story three bedroom house filled with gorgeous 60's and 70's vintage, mainly Parker furniture. One bedroom upstairs and two down with a cozy lounge room and full entertainment system and great communal area/ open plan lounge/ dining / kitchen area that boasts the best view of Newcastle. Off from the communal area are also a massive separate laundry, bathroom and toilet. One downstairs bedroom is yours and the other is set up as a basic gym complete with matting, floor to ceiling mirrors, sit-up bench, hand weights and Olympic bar. Great for yoga, stretching and some basic strength training if you are so inclined. The other bedroom is the quietest in the house with a window to the quiet and protected backyard. Right next to the ferry wharf so you have 3 ways to get into town or to the uni, drive, ferry, or bus, all at your front door! I am away almost every second weekend and work a lot so if you are looking for a party house skip my profile please, but if you are looking for a bit of a sanctuary to come home to please contact me. Rent etc is negotiable. I am house proud and would like somebody who likes to help keep the place tidy.
Im 28, looking for accommodation, ive been working in stockton for 4 months and work 8+ days a fortnight, im a clean person, honest and reliable. I am easy going! Get along with everyone. I'm very quiet and respectful! I don't work at the moment as I am helping my mum out but I am seeking employment and currently receiving centrelink. I don't smoke or party but I do enjoy a drink here and there! I can be a bit of a neat freak at times and love a clean house!
Hi there! My name is Bronte and I am looking for a new place to call home in central Newcastle. I work full time in media and consider myself a very sociable person outside of working hours. I love wine (I used to make it!) as well as good food and love meeting new people. I am very respectful of others space and am very sure to clean up after myself. If you think I would fit into your household environment please don't hesitate to contact me! I hope to hear from you!
Looking for unfurnished room with plenty of storage space. I have sold my unit in Sydney after losing my job and looking to move to a quiet area far from the jungle that Sydney has become. I will be teaching piano as a part time job and developing websites as a secondary part time job. My previous job was a business analyst and IT consultant, currently unemployed. Prefer to live with people who have education background of at least 1 degree. I have a pet parrot who loves intellectual conversations. 😃
I am originally from Brazil but have been living in Eleebana now for 1 year. I am 31yo and work full-time in this area, some times weird shifts. I like to be active and socialize but appreciate time to study as well. I am relaxed, easy going and love to make new friends. I am clean and tidy. Allergic to cigarettes and cats so prefer to avoid them.
Hi, I'm Jen. I'm a warm, positive, responsible, proactive individual looking for a new place to call home. I'm 35 and work in a variety of fields in part time positions doing business admin & in a freelance capacity in Event Management & the Arts. I enjoy sharing good, healthy food & meal times, a vino & vibrant conversation with those I live with & honour the space we all need to be happy. I have a passion for yoga, dance, art, authenticity, expression & expanding my inner & outer worlds whenever possible. I've just returned to my home town of Newcastle after over a decade away of job pursuits & adventure. I’m happy to be back & closer to friends, family & the beach. I’ve lived in large share houses & in duo’s, both have their pro’s & con’s – but the right mix is essential for a happy house. Space is important to me, inside & out, so no small apartments will cut the mustard. I've got furniture & appliances to contribute to the house & I'm completely house trained (am a bit of a handy-woman & even come with tools to help with odd jobs around the house). I enjoy living with mature, clean, positive & professional adults with a secure disposition that have their work⁄life⁄fun balance down pat. I've got a super friendly, indoor 13yr old female tabby cat. She's awesome company, spends most of the time sleeping on my bed & is a real gem of a furry friend, you're going to love her. I'm hoping to share space with conscious, connected people that want to create a home, not just a house to live in. Art is my life blood so a space to create is also a must in my new abode (perhaps the garage or a sunroom for example), I know the perfect home is out there! Look forward to meeting you Chat soon Jen
I am from the Netherlands and will visit Australia for an internship at the City Council of Lake Macquarie. I am easy to get allong with. Love to spend time with friend. I am a clean person. Focussed on school. I like to play video games and work out sometimes.
Hey! I'm Jess, I'm a 21 year old looking to find a few like-minded people and move further into the heart of Newcastle. I work full time at Bunnings Warehouse as well as maintain a healthy social life and (sometimes) lifestyle. I like to keep a tidy household, enjoy cooking/baking, and gardening. I tend to keep to myself, enjoying to stay the night in reading or watching the trending series on Netflix. On the contrary, I love to try new things, meet new people and explore Newcastle for all it's worth. I'm pretty laid back and easy going. I take pride in maintaining a clean household while respecting others space, and am happy to share the cleaning of the household. I'm a huge animal lover and own four ferrets (two are mine and two are foster babies), so a pet friendly home is essential. It's a common misconsumption that ferrets smell horrible, although they do have a potent smell it's not 'disgusting' in nature. Having cared for these animals for many years I keep their cages fresh and clean them out every three days. They are also litter trained and are very cat-like (have lived with my many previous foster cats). Shoot me a message if it seems like we'd make a good match, I look forward to hearing from you.
I've just spent the past four years living in N. America, and will be moving to Newcastle to start the next chapter of my life sometime around the end of August - early September. I'm easy going, respectful, clean, and quiet. Non smoker. Generally I need my alone time, otherwise I can get a bit grumpy, which is usually spent reading, writing, or catching up on my shows, but an evening out with a few drinks would be nice. Would love to share with someone who's a bit active: I want to apply for the navy next year, so someone who can give me a boot up the bum and keep me motivated would be appreciated. I can stretch my budget to $170-80 but that will have to include bills and internet.
Hey prospective housemate, I am a current PhD student at the University of Newcastle. Originally from India and am looking for a place to shift to by the end of the year when my current contract ends. Shy at first but very easy to get along with. I also keep to myself every now and then so I wont be one of those pestering housemates :-p. I love to travel, watch movies / tv shows (any GOT fans?), cooking, enjoying a couple of drinks and spontaneous plans! I'm looking for a room to rent around $200-$250 with potentially all bills and WiFi (high speed) included. I like to keep things/house very clean hence would be willing to help out with the keep up of the house as and when required. Hope to find someone and of similar like and interests. Feel free to drop me a message and we can organize a time to catch up and discuss further! Cheers!! Anish
Considerate, respectful and easy to get along with... Hi, I'm Sean I work full time and I have a lovely 9 yr old daughter. I have recently moved to Newcastle to spend more time with her without all of the travel hence my reason for my search. Looking for a nice spacious room ideally with own bathroom but negotiable and someone easy to get along with.. Look forward to meeting you...
Hello :) I'm in Newcastle for a project with work and instead of staying in a hotel I'd prefer to have a short term rent. Happy to share or take an entire place. I'm looking for a room furnished with a bed and preferably my own bathroom. I work in Newcastle West so I need to be able to easily get there without a car. Ideally I'd be aiming for walking distance to Hunter St. I'll be around Monday-Friday most weeks. Will occasionally stay on the weekends. I'm social and enjoy hanging out, heading out for dinner, having a few drinks, exercising and doing whatever really. Please get in touch if you have something that might suit, even if it's just for a month or 2. Cheers, Tom
We are a clean and tidy couple. We will even do small jobs to help us pay the rent if required. If not required we are willing to pay up to $200 a week if you want more just ask we may consider
I'm a Newcastle University student looking for a place closer to campus. From the coast & keen to meet new people and try new things. Roomies must be open for midnight snack runs and unplanned adventure, or at least able to tolerate them occuring. No unsolicited calls. This constitutes immediate refusal to conduct business and earns my eternal ire.
I am looking for a room for my partner and I in the Newcastle/Lake Macquarie area. I am 19 studying childcare, I am friendly, easy going and very clean as also my partner who is 20 years of old and works full time :) we are often not home but when we are keep to our selfs but are to have a chat and hang out on the weekend.
Hey guys, I am Brodie, I am a 22 year old Youth Worker. I enjoy the beach and enjoying the sunshine. I like to have drinks every now and then but am definitely not a big partier. I don't mind having gatherings sometimes though :) I am mostly home during the day and enjoy reading and watching Netflix. On the weekends I am working but when I am not working I like a sneaky wine or beer and socialising! I am happy to move out with someone who is like-minded, tidy and relaxed. I am happy to meet new people and to have your friends over too :) I have a boyfriend who will be around mostly on the weekends :)
I'm Erin, I'm almost 20 years old (in December), I study a bacehlor of Social Work full-time and although I'm currently unemployed I am looking for work. I've lived out of home for over a year now. I am clean and responsible and very respectful of others. Because I go on prac February next year, I'll barely be around, only at nights and weekends.

Hey, I'm looking for a room preferably in a great sharehouse.. not a mediocre one. To give you some background on me - I'm currently staying at a family friends place in Hamilton after moving back from living in the UK. I've previously lived in Newcastle while I was studying a social science degree so I've got quite a few friends in the area and like to stay busy. I am currently working full time 9 - 5 in a government job and studying a masters of public health part time. I've lived for 7 years in share houses so I know how to live respectfully and communally and I enjoy meeting new people. Looking forward to hearing from you. Cheers, Lauren.
