I'm a musician but I like a quiet household - I practise piano with headphones on or fit my practice sessions around the people I live with. I don't have a TV; if I want to watch or listen to anything I do it on my phone with an earbud in. I've been living in Flaxton for the last eight years, but I'd be just as happy to find a new place around here as to have a sea change and move to another part of the Sunshine Coast. I just need to be no more than about an hour's drive from my job in Mooloolaba. I'm handy with tools, lawnmowing and fixing things (yes I'm female, as it turns out, that's no obstacle to being mechanically minded), and I'm great at applying for houses, even in this competitive rental market. I have until April 10 to find a new place. I'm hoping to find one other like-minded person with whom to share a house with enough space for art, music, tools etc. Ideally I'd love something rural but would definitely consider something that ticked all the other boxes in a quiet street in the 'burbs.
