Hi! My housemate and I are looking to rent bedroom number 3. The bedroom is upstairs and includes built-ins. Its big enough for a double bed and a desk. The room has two large windows overlooking the park and gets lots of natural light. The house is surrounded by parks, including a few basketball courts, and is a 4 minute walk to Sydenham station. Newtown and Marrickville are down the the down as well. The house is an older style but has everything you need including a relatively big back yard. The house is also underneath the flightpath which means planes can be heard overhead; that said, every room is fitted with double/noise cancelling windows. There are currently two of us in the house. Myself - Angus - a 25 y.o. finance worker, and Glassiel, a young American professional. We're both pretty chill and easy to get along with. What we're looking for in a housemate is someone who works full-time, is basically the same age as us, is a bit of fun, and is easy to get along with. If this is you, please message us with a little bit about yourself and we can talk. Cheers, Angus A few more details: * Rent includes internet, excludes utilities; * Prefer medium/longer term stays; * Standard 2 weeks bond; * Sorry, no couples; and * Room will be unfurnished.
I’m pretty easy going and chilled. I enjoy watching shows, appreciate nice wine and enjoy cooking. I’m also a bit of a grandma and like to crochet. I’m respectful of other peoples space and considerate of noise too.
Hi there! I'm a 23-to-be Chilean girl who has lived in Sydney for about 4.5 years. I'm a USyd graduate, currently in a gap year before starting medicine next year in Santiago. I work at the uni as a RA and in an OOSH in Lane Cove. I'm into fitness and have a well-balanced lifestyle. I'm a morning person who struggles to stay in on a sunny day, always keen for the beach and adventure time! I'm a very independent, responsible and mature individual who is weeeell experience in house-sharing (i.e. very clean, tidy, respectful, etc.) since I've always lived in shared houses. I'm looking for a place where I can feel comfortable hanging around the house as I generally cook my meals so yeah, you would see me around, always keen for a chat! I have an extrovert personality, sociable and good ice-breaker (I hate awkwardness). Very mindful and respectful, clean freak with common areas (I really hate when people don't clean up the kitchen straight after cooking and eating so I always -and I mean always- clean up right away). In terms of furnishing, I have my own double bed and side tables, and my ideal room would have an in-built (or a decently sized wardrobe available to use). I have car so I need somewhere to park it. If you have an off-street car parking spot that would be absolutely awesome! I'm flexible with my moving date but something around the 6th of May would be ideal. Message me if our needs meet! PS: areas I'm interested: 1. Lower North Shore 2. Inner West (Marrickville and surroundings, Sydenham, Alexandria, St Peters).
Hi! My name is Mariela, I’m from Chile and I’m here in Australia for my second year of Working Holiday Visa. I’m looking for a place to live, hopefully a private room near a train station in a sharehouse. I’m easy going and relaxed, and I hope to find some nice people to live with!
Hello flatmates! I'm Meesh, a 27 year old chef originally from Canberra and potentially your new house mate :) I enjoy chilling with mates, beach and random adventures. Checking out bars and cooking. I'm share house trained, considerate and extremely respectful. I'm not a passive aggressive post it note bandit and hope that you aren't either. I can work some pretty long days. So i love home to be a chill environment and am looking for somewhere long term with people who i can ultimately become friends with. I'd love to find somewhere that i can call home, so i am really looking for a long term rental with some like minded legends who aren't afraid to grab a meal or a bev should schedules permit. I am terrible at writing these things. But if you think I'd be a good fit pls don't hesitate to message! Cheers, Meeshi
Hey future flatmate(s)! I’m a single 24 year old looking for a place in the inner-west to call home. I work full time in the CBD as an enviro scientist, so a place within walking distance of a train station / light rail is preferable! I also do a lot of site work as part of my job and therefore need my car, so available street parking (or garaged space) is a bit of a must for me. I’m a pretty chatty, social person and looking for people who can be a flatmate and a friend (I’m always up for wine and a good movie), but I also like to have my space and privacy respected. Sadly I’m allergic to cats, but would absolutely and most definitely be open to a place with a dog or other pets. I’m a non-smoker who will always keep kitchens and bathrooms clean (no one likes two week old butter chicken in the sink and hair clogging the shower drain). I’d like to room with some fellow females between 20s and mid 30s and up to three other flatmates is ideal for me. LGBTQ+ friendly place is a must! I usually like to get out and about on the weekend (which usually involves wine, hiking, eating or d) all of the above), and like to gym and cook during the weeknights and will invite the odd friend over for chill dinner/drinks. You’ll usually catch me reading, Netflixing or attempting to cook something new. I’m looking to move out around the end of May / early June, and aiming to find somewhere I can stay on a more permanent basis. Hopefully I can find a place / people that will be a good fit for me (and hopefully you too!).
Room is available from 28th May to 1st July (can extend to 22nd July). 5 minute walk to Sydenham station and under a ten minute train ride to central. Have your own little courtyard coming off the bedroom. Brand new kitchen and bathroom. Sharing with awesome housemates. Room is fully furnished, internet and bills included. After someone who is clean, tidy and respectful.
Hi! I’m a single guy in my mid-20s, full time bar manager in Surry Hills. I work nights, so I usually emerge from bed sometime around noon and can then be found listening to music, watching Netflix, or consuming some other kind of media. I’m easy going and sociable. I like a beer and live a pretty typical hospitality lifestyle, but not necessarily looking to live in a party house. Living with people that don’t mind getting up to some hijinks is definitely not out of the question, but if you prefer a quiet life and your own space I’m down for that too. Having lived with messy housemates too many times in the past, I’ve come to enjoy living in a clean place (I also have a roomba that can help with a bit of vacuuming!). I also like to cook when I have the time. I come with a beautiful and well behaved one-year-old cat named Cece. She’s been through three owners after being abandoned as a kitten, so I’d love to give her (and myself) a stable and happy home.
Hi there, I'm nice, down to earth guy who doesn't smoke. Looking for a room for long period. I like to keep my place tidy. I'm calm, friendly and easy going. I'm from Poland, like gym and coffee. Working as a joiner.
I am 28 year old Colombian guy. I have a bachelors degree in marketing and advertising, I am tidy, I respect boundaries. I love sports, I like to play video games, outdoors, cooking is my hobby and I like to make new friends. I am a friendly guy and I enjoy a cup of coffee or a beer with mates.
Looking for a place to stay starting end of August this year. I work full time in the city and enjoy staying in as much as going out. I'm tidy and like to be respectful of others' spaces, and also enjoy doing fun things together.
Hi friends, Im Zachary a 25yo Aussie female professional who works in finance in the city. One of my closest friends and I have been living together in an apartment in Rosebery for the last 2 years but now she is packing up to start a new adventure in London. I'm really sad for her to be leaving but now I'm excited to meet some new people and join another home. I'm looking for a room in a flat/house share. It doesn't need to be large! A little bit about me.. i usually go to the gym after work, love to have a wine with friends, make the most of the sun by heading to the beach on nice days. I'm pretty easy going and get along with most people. I'm hoping to find a home with similar, considerate people who can keep the place clean and respect each other. I'm looking for a move in date on 9 May. Please contact me if you think this sounds like a good fit. Cheers, Zach... the girl!
Hey, I’m currently working on a part time / casual basis. I’m pretty quiet & shy, so when I’m not working I’ll probably be in my room. Happy to have a conversation though. I’m honest, reliable, clean & trustworthy.
Hi! Looking for one other full time worker to share a pet friendly property. I have a spoilt Chiweenie (chihuahua x mini dachshund) called Ziggy, who is a little unfriendly at first, but once he gets to know you is very affectionate and lovable. He is an inside dog, but is completely house trained, low shedding and clean. I work full time as a State Manager in retail, so will either be working long hours, or travelling for work, but can also be flexible and work from home. When I am travelling, Zig will stay with a family member to be looked after. I am clean and tidy, enjoy cooking and relaxing at home. I enjoy a wine with dinner, but am more of an early bird, so don't have big nights or go out partying.
I'm a foodie, whisky guy, somewhat of a movie buff, TV junkie, and all-around geek. Think of me as a Ravenclaw, ENTJ or Chandler if that helps. If you like trying out restaurants, board games and going to museums, we will get along very well. I'm a 30 yo advertising professional. Tidy, flexible (I can be a meme machine mayor of Banterbury or ride solo) and responsible with bills.
Chloe and I are very welcoming and down to earth people, we both enjoy music, I play a bit of guitar in my free time and Chloe paints and draws in her free time. We’re both originally from Victoria and have moved up to Sydney less than a year ago. At the moment we’re currently sharing a room which we’re still happy to do once we’ve moved. Chloe is working full time at Caltex in concord and I’m part time casual with usually 4 or more shifts per week at Caltex I’m concord aswell. Chloe owns a green cheeked conure (small bird) and I own a border collie/staffy/kelpie mix who is almost 2 years old.
I love exploring nature, cooking, the beach, bushwalking, relaxing, watching tv shows/documentaries, dancing and am currently leaning to hula hoop so would really love somewhere with either a sizeable balcony or an outdoor area where I can practice hooping. Should hopefully be working full time by July after I graduate. Looking to find people to team up with as I have my own lounge set, washing machine, dryer, fridge, freezer, kitchen supplies etc. I also have spare beds/furniture if you need it! Have lived in shared housing for a long time and also went to boarding school so know how to live with others, am tidy and respectful of others privacy/space. Ideally looking to be friends with or at least occasionally sociable with who I live with but I am also a busy person so would be out of the house fairly often. Really need somewhere close to a station, I work at the airport and city so preferably in the mascot/airport area but willing to relocate to other areas. Can also be flexible with length of stay.
