Hi I am Gonzalo, originally from Peru, but I lived in I Australia for a few years already. I work in IT and I am moving to Sydney for 6 months for a job in the CBD. I am easy to get along and probably will not spend too much time in the house but I don't mind sharing sometimes a drink on the weekend.
I work quietly from home on the computer during the day and dance the night away 3 or 4 or 5 nights a week :) When I'm not working or dancing I love to get to the beach, I love to swim laps in the ocean baths and take walks in the beautiful national parks in and around Sydney. Some of my other interests are Sailing, Music (I'm a frustrated musician) I love anything to do with the water so snorkeling, kayaking, etc etc are all things I love to do. I'm 55 and a nanny but very young at heart, very active, love to have fun and enjoy a good laugh. I love all things Latin and have a passion for Latin music and dance. I'm well traveled, particularly loved backpacking solo recently through Latin America - Chili - Argentina - Bolivia - Peru - Colombia and Cuba for 3 months and I enjoy the company of people from all over the world. Ideally my flatmate would be someone who's not too serious or a complete recluse as it'd be nice to have the occasional coffee or a vino and a chat from time to time. I do enjoy the company of younger people or anyone with an upbeat and friendly personality. I'm really looking for a place where we can feel happy, relaxed, free to be ourselves and somewhere that really feels like home as opposed to just "renting a room". Male or Female, young or old, it doesn't matter to me, I'm gregarious, open minded, non judgemental, and just seem to naturally get on with everyone. It's all about feeling relaxed and comfortable, having a great vibe at home and being socially aware, sensitive to and respectful of each others need for privacy and down time. I'm not full blown OCD but I do like to keep the place neat and tidy and clean and I don't cope well with clutter or things being left lying around for days on end. I leave the place clean and tidy after I've used things and I particularly like to leave the bathroom, living area and especially the kitchen clean and would like to team up with someone who does the same. I have all the lovely furniture needed to create a lovely living environment currently in storage so if you're looking to start a new flat/house share or if you've just started one, I come complete with furniture, the only thing you would need would be your own bed. Alternatively, I'm just as happy to keep my things in storage and share a furnished or semi furnished place in the right place with the right person at the right price :) As I work from home, (Stockmarket Sector) ideally you'd go out to work during the day and I'd have the place to work quietly from home during the day Mon - Fri. A party house with people coming and going during the day just won't work for me as I do like the peace and quiet during the day to work. Having said that... I'm out most nights dancing so you'd mostly have the place to yourself in the evenings to relax and enjoy when you get home from work. I often take trips away to visit my family on the mid north coast or over in Perth for a week or two at a time so there would be plenty of opportunities for you to have the place to yourself for a week or two from time to time as well. Weekends I like to get out and about as much as possible especially when the weather is gorgeous outside. If it's wet, cold or miserable outside, that's netflix and vino time!!! I'm really looking for a place in the Eastern Suburbs that is close to the CBD, the Ferries and not too far from the foxtell studios, the beach and or ocean baths suitable for swimming laps but I'm open to other beachy suburbs that are not too far away i.e. From Manly to Coogee . I'm hoping to find a generously proportioned, comfortable and Sunny 2 apartment with a study, sun room or a third smaller bedroom to share with one other person only. Ideally the apartment would have a north facing aspect that will be warm in the winter and cool in the summer, a separate bath tub, balcony or outside area and off street parking and or garage, all desirable but not essential. If this all this sounds like something that would be a good fit for you I'd love to hear from you.
Hey ☺️ I'm Aideen from Ireland - just moved to Sydney on the working holiday visa after a few months travelling South East Asia. I love to discover new cultures and languages (trying to become fluent in French & Spanish), dancing, hiking, climbing and generally getting the most out of life. As a flatmate I'm easy-going, down for activities but also respectful of other people's space. I love to cook and usually like to share meals during the week if other people are up for it! 🐨🐨
Laid back Canadian/English girls who like to laugh. We are clean, friendly and considerate. Living in Australia for 2 years, plan to stay long term. In need of 2 private rooms. Both work 40 hours a week and spend our free time relaxing or go out. Love to meet new people and explore on weekends. Any of our friends will tell you we love hip hop, wine, art, good films and food :)
Hi, I am Kevin from France. Well I can say I like (love) cheese and wine, it probably makes me great to live with :D. Otherwise, I am clean, a good cook, and easy going. I like culture and art, (photography is one my hobbies), but I also like to do sport (surfing, running, and boxing as soon as I find a club). Just moved to Sydney after living/travelling for two years in Indonesia and further afield in SEA. I am a graduate of hospitality management and hope to use my experience to work in this field in Sydney. As I havn't lived in a big city for last two years, I am looking forward to discover the life style that Sydney can offer.
Hey :) My name is Ondrej and I am coming to Sydney as an exchange student to have classes at UTS. I am originaly from Czech Republic, but I am studying master in Urban Planning in Copenhagen. I have listed an ad that I am coming with my girlfriend but she is having some complications with her visa so she cant come at the moment so I am looking for a place for myself. I am calm and not very party person but very sociable and I have lived in many shared apartments therefore I know how important it is to respect other's roommates privacy and also have some fun and good vibes :) I enjoy photography, art, plants and healthy cooking :) I love the beach and summer so I am very much looking to live in Sydney for a while. I am also planing to find part time job to save some extra cash for traveling after. I am hoping to find cosy room somewhere in eastern suburbs with cool and relaxed roomates :) I am coming to Sydney next Saturday (28th), so I am open for meet ups any time after that date. Ondrej
Live for the ocean and like to be active. I like a mix of quiet time and fun times - though not party party, more dinner and drinks. I work full time in sports marketing and travel for work from time to time. Originally from QLD though have been in Sydney for 3 years
I’m a recent graduate from the United States and recently moved to Australia for a working holiday. I’m a former Army veteran, very respectful, clean, and kind. I’m excited to embark on a new chapter and embrace a new community. I will be working full time and am looking for a furnished place in Sydney near the beaches. I love to be outdoors and exercising. Only interested in private rooms not shared.
Hi lovely people! My name is Joline, I'm a 26 year old from Stockholm, Sweden now living in Sydney. I'm currently working at a café in Glebe (yes, I will bring heaps of free bread home for my flatmates). I'm now living in Waterloo but looking to relocate before the end of August at the very latest, but I won't have any trouble to move pretty much ASAP. Preferably somewhere in the inner west. So here's me: I'm happy, very friendly and easygoing. I'm pleasant and quiet as a flatmate, but I also love beer, red wine and hanging out with my housemates for a night in (or out.) In my spare time I love doing heaps of different things. Like a lot. That includes: shooting film (mostly 35 mm), yoga, reading, drawing, meditation and working towards my goal of becoming a graphic-/web designer. I also love animals (especially dogs) and just being in nature. Come spring I'm going to study in Sydney, I'm currently here on a WH Visa that I'm going to convert into a student visa. I absolutely adore living in this city. I'm happy to look at places all over the Inner West and Eastern suburbs. Especially though I would love to relocate to Redfern, Erskineville, Newtown, Enmore, Stanmore, Marrickville or Bondi. But everything is welcome :) My budget is pretty small at the moment and I'm looking for places at around $200-250/week. I'm looking for a room of my own, not a shared room, and I would love to be able to stay for at least three or four months if you're subletting. That should be all. So yeah, if I sound like your kind of flatmate, hit me up! Lots of love Joline
I spend most of my time at work as a corporate finance professional (60+hours/week), going for walks in nature and reading/studying. I've lived and worked in many different cities over the last 7 years where I've shared homes - valuing being respectful, considerate and bringing a positive energy to the environment. Moving to Sydney for a promotion and to further the career.
I'm a very open-minded and smiling girl 26 years old woman from Denmark. I'm just about to finish my master thesis in Psychology and communication and coming to Sydney in the beginning of Sep on a working holiday :-)
We are two outgoing and adventurous friends from London, on a working holiday for a year. Need either a room each or twin room. We're super easy to get on with and can guarantee lots of laughter and entertainment, equally we are sensible and mature. Looking for a chilled out place to live and some funky new friends. (p.s if you have any animals we will look after them all the time as loveeeee then.)
My name is Lindsay. I'm a 27 year old Canadian who has been living in Sydney for coming up 9 months. I'm originally from Vancouver, BC and I work full time as a Chartered Accountant. In my spare time enjoy going to the beach, working out, travelling and indulging in great food and wine. I've lived in various shared accommodations throughout my 20s in Canada and Australia. I am extremely clean and tidy and look for the same in perspective flatmates. I'm not a party animal - I'm quite quiet during the weeks but enjoy being out and about on the weekends.
I have tons of stories to tell about the word since Australia will be the 5th country I am calling my home. I am always up for a nice walk, day at the beach, nice dinner, or a big night out. Besides that you can usually find me hanging upside down on any type of aerial equipment. Looking for fun and respectful roommates to enjoy this new chapter of my life :)
I'm a 27 year old full-time professional who is quiet, cleans up after himself and helps with the housework. I respect people's privacy and will chat or give space when required. I love the beach, live music and the gym. I'm hoping to live close to a train/bus line so I can get around easily. I would like to live with people around my age who don't mind going for a quiet beer/wine or a gig. I will need an unfurnished room, my own car spot and an ensuite/bathroom. Please let me know if you want to know more or have a place that I might be interested in. P.s. I'm on the left in the picture.
I'm easy going Kiwi hospitality professional who is considerate and very tidy. I have a 7 year old Golden Retriever who is fully house trained and loves other dogs, his name is Charlie and he is a snuggly legend. I am looking for somewhere long term in the Eastern Suburbs area. It would be great to move into a place with a back yard and another dog as they would be great company for each other. I usually end up becoming good mates with my housemates. I enjoy surfing, snowboarding, reading a good book and having wines with friends.
Hey there, My names Melissa and I work as Cabin Crew therefore am home 2, max 3 days a week. I am looking for a warm, clean home, close to the beach so I can enjoy my days off in the sun and the surf. I am looking for a room with own bathroom please. Home with balcony or backyard highly preferred! Also if you have an animal, you have got me! Big animal lover and hate that my job doesn't allow me to keep my own pet. In my spare time you will find me doing Yoga, Outdoor walks/ hikes, at the beach, drinking wine etc. Before i became Cabin Crew I was a dancer so also love creative arts. I have traveled the world and love to exchange stories and reminisce of younger days ;) I am 29. My job can be exhausting and very social so as much as i am looking for new friends in my house mates i also value a bit of private time to unwind. My days off fall mid-week too. I am flexible with moving date as its just a friend taking over my current room here. I also put length of stay as 6 months minimum but obviously if it all works well I would stay longer! Look forward to hearing from you :) Oh I also have mad outdoor settings if you have a backyard and need awesome wicker lounge sets plus also a outdoor dining table. But if not required can store at my family home. xxxx
I am 27 years old ethusiastic woman ~ artist. I would like to live with a good vibes people, great would be close to the beach. I am always busy, chasing my dreams, wanna learning surfing soon. My hobbies are never ending story, there is still something awesome or new to do. Maybe soon your neighbour. Natali
I'm easy going, respectful and flexible. Originally from Brisbane, I have been living in the Surry Hills / Paddington / Darlinghurst area for around five years now. Although I am currently living with some beautiful people in a great location, I feel it's time for a change of scenery, and hopefully somewhere a little closer to the water with some fantastic new flatmates! I'm looking for a home in a clean, tidy and light-filled share house around Bondi Beach / Tamarama. Preferably with some easy going, considerate and friendly people who enjoy a glass of wine or meal occasionally (or frequently), but also have their own thing going on and are respectful of each other. I work in Walsh Bay for an international multidisciplinary design firm, with surprisingly normal full-time office hours. I try to stay healthy and active so hope to have easy access to my gyms (Flow Athletic and Women of Treign) and most of life's necessities within walking distance. I enjoy cooking, travelling, meeting new people and exploring Sydney - it's outdoors, restaurants, bars, exhibitions, lectures and all the amazing things this city has to offer! I currently have my own bedroom furnishings, as well as a dining room table and a few other homely things (e.g. a ridiculous number of cushions, festoon globe lights, kitchen equipment etc) that ideally I'd be able to contribute to the house, or I can potentially put into storage if required.
I'm a young tech professional working full-time in North Sydney. I prefer a modern place within 30 mins transit from North Sydney station. :) Love a good walk or picnic or beach hang - anything to deepen my tan! Cheeky wine and cheese nights are definitely a thing, and so are hilarious nights out. I'm hoping to make new friends around my age (25-35) who share a similar lifestyle. I'm very clean and organised and am generally quiet but can definitely turn it up if the occasion calls for it! The above scenarios are just some examples of said occasions ;) Can't wait to look at some new places and meet new faces!
Heeey! I'm Nikolaj from Denmark. I am a student at Copenhagen Business School, and now on exchange at UTS for one semester, wanting to travel east coast/NZ/asia after, and rest of aus and islands during the stay. I am an open and outgoing person, who has a big interest in people, nature, sports etc. I further take great pleasure from the creative industries. I have lived with roomates for a couple of years now, both single and shared bedrooms. I am a tidy person to live with, and I enjoy doing things together as well as respecting privacy when needed. I am very flexible and enjoy many things. Dont be afraid to message me :) Looking for a single room, rather close to the beach so I can go surfing on the reg ;)
Hey everyone, I just moved from the US after graduating from university and am looking for a place to live with some fun people. I'm pretty easy going and sociable, but I understand others' privacy as well. Also more than happy to do whatever cleaning is expected. For fun, I play pickup basketball, go out with friends, or whatever sounds good at the time. If I'm feeling lazy, it'll probably be reading a book or watching a movie.
