So for one week it's $240, all bills included + one week bond. We can negotiate terms :) We abolutely love the house, it is spacious, has two levels. Downstairs there is Aga's room, open living room area connected with dining room and kitchen and separate laundry room with toilet. Your room would be located on the second level, up the stairs. . The room is furnished with queen bed, desk, wardrobes etc. You wold be living next to Dennis, how is also renting from us. He is very nice, works in the bank whole week. Aga is out of the house most of the days as well. Her parents are visiting so it may get a bit crowded in the evening, but house is spacious so I don't feel it that much. You would share upstairs bathroom with Aga and her parents, depends on your schedule but I haven't had issues with 'queues' to the bathroom so far. The house is 3min from light rail, 3 min from parramata road and all the busses and it is 8 min from the Lewisham station. We also got off-street parking. Summer Hill is a great suburb in the Inner West with its own IGA grocery store, Liquor Land, and many cafes and restaurants but best of all: the location! From our house you have parramatta road 100 metres away for busses, and in the other direction you have the train line directly into the city (50 metres away). It takes about 20 minutes to get into the heart of the city so its a quick trip. All the restaurants and stores are also a 5 minute walk from the house.
The Apartment: Pretty much a brand spanking new apartment built in the last 3-4 years. The complex is called Luna by Meriton (go on their websites and you can see photos of the facilities) and ours is a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment. There is the possibility of leaving the room furnished but that is something I have to further discuss with my current housemate.
