The room is pretty cosy but you can put a double bed in there and still have space for a bedside table or desk. It also has built in robes. You will only have to share the bathroom (pictured) with one other person Sarah - it has a bath and shower. All bills are included and this also includes household shared items like washing detergent, toilet paper, cleaning etc. For the price this place is really fantastic - It may be a bit rough around the edges but it has a heap of space, huge garage an awesome balcony with a waterlily pond. The kitchen has plenty of storage and is easy to cook and maintain. We have a second fridge in the garage for overflow so there is always plenty of room for everyone's stuff. Got a washing machine and outside clothes line and yeah everything functions quite well. Real estate is responsive and when we have needed anything fixed it was hassle free. There is also off street parking - though parking is only ever an issue on bin night. But we have a long driveway that fits two cars. Our ideal roommate would be someone in their mid 20s to mid 30s and working full or part-time. Would be happy to chat to some students though preference is from someone working since with us two working we do want a quiet household during the week. The room is available from the 19th of December, with the possibility it will available earlier.
Hey, I'm Jade! From Perth, WA. I've just spent the last 2.5years living abroad in Whistler, Canada. I love traveling and going on new adventures so thought "Why not check out the east coast of Australia?". I'll be arriving in Newcastle in the new year and looking for some cool, fun, and relaxed people to live with and help me settle into my new home. I am super easy going and currently looking for full time work. Super excited to see what Newcastle has to offer!
Hey future pal, A room in The Hill is up for grabs now! Super close to all the fun things including beers, markets, parks, beaches, gym etc The two-storey unit is fully furnished aside from your room/s. The bedroom is small with only a half cupboard so you will also get the small awkward spare room to use as a cupboard/ however you please. My previous housemate had a queen bed and bedside table in the bedroom, and a clothes rack and chest of drawers in the spare room :) Plenty of parking on street and usually parks in the visitors car park. Looking for a housemate that is happy to chat with an occasional housemate bev, can wipe a bench and have a laff. Similar age 22-35ish. Room is too small for couples sorry and no pets :( Feel free to send me a message if you’re keen! Nitty gritty- Bond $820 Weekly rent $200 (one week advance) Bills are split evenly - on average $40 a month for electricity each and $30 unlimited internet each month
My name is Eleanor and I'm 22 years old. I'm currently studying physiotherapy full time and also working part time. My current lease is running soon so I'm looking to move in somewhere in December. I love to ride my bike, skateboard and go camping. I enjoy spending time with housemates but also like my own space. Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks :)
Location location location! Within a 1 min walk of Darby St (and from my best guess within 300m to over 50 bars/cafe/restaurants/pubs), as well as being super close to the beach. With views of civic park from the balcony, this place is excellently positioned. This town house itself boasts a huge kitchen, living area and a decently sized balcony for entertaining. Fully fitted with all appliances and furniture at your disposal. The bedroom is not furnished, however comes with a built in wardrobe and ceiling fan.
Hey! I’m Liv, I’m 21 and I’m currently in need of a new pad as my awesome housemate is unfortunately moving to Sydney and is giving up the place we’re staying in at the moment. I'm wanting to move hopefully before the end of November and I'm flexible with stay lengths. I work in The Junction making Newy's best doughnuts and also study online. I love to get out and about whether it’s to the beach, the gym or to get a coffee with some friends. I’m quite a social person, I definitely enjoy the occasional night out for drinks on the weekend when my work schedule allows me to and I'm always up for a chat but also know that personal space is important as I definitely enjoy mine sometimes!
**4 BEDROOM PROPERTY BUT ONLY RENTING 1 ROOM** Rent for a month over December/January (start and end times flexible to some extent) The house is a large old style terrace house across from King Edward Park in the centre of Newcastle. An easy walk to Darby st cafes and the CBD, as well as down to either Newcastle beach or Bar beach. Sit on the balcony in the evening and watch the sunset over the ocean after a day exploring Newcastle and the surreal surrounding beaches, natural landscapes and national parks
I am an international student of UON, I’m looking for a bedroom rental near the train from CBD to Broadmeadow or close to new space campus. I want to move in late November /early December. easy-going, clean, quiet My maximum budget is 200. Any information pm please, cheers!
Potentially looking for a new place to live, around 6 months or so. I work Monday to Friday, usually big days in the valley. When im not working, i like to keep busy, so im not often home. I keep things tidy, and tend to clean as i go. Dont smoke, drink occasionally. I respect other peoples privacy and things. Fairly chilled out, happy for a chat, or can just keep to myself.
I'm nearing my 4th year of studying secondary PDHPE teaching at UON, I love getting outdoors (beach, hiking), hanging out with mates doing whatever comes to mind; playing cards/board games, watching movies, going out to eat, going to gigs, having a jam (I tinker on the guitar), op shopping, and having an occasional bev and a boogie. Looking for a household that likes to get out and about, open to cook together sometimes etc, and have room for some plant babies and growing vinyl collection :)
Hey guys, I’m Jess I’m 20 and a uni student studying social science criminology. I’m looking for a temporary house preferably a sublet for someone going overseas for a few months over summer. I’m looking for a place close to the beach from the 8th of December to late January or start of feb. I play soccer and work part time so I tend to be pretty busy, but I’m looking for a house that has a good vibe and is interested to hang out at the beach on days off or go for some beers.
