Easy going, like to keep things nice and tidy. Live an active and beach lifestyle, super chill, and enjoy social drinks on weekends. I'm studying at the university of Newcastle and also working part time. Ideally looking for a place close to town and very short drive from the beach.
I am looking for a potential sharehouse in Cooks Hill, Newcastle, the Hill etc. with one other person, either 2 or 3 bedroom, shared or 2 bathrooms, I have a large budget but rental companies won't rent to me as an individual! I am a shiftworker so I work a rotating roster which gives housemates and myself a chance for alone time. I am fairly active but love to chill out in the backgarden and play with my pet rats (absolutely LOVE any kind of animal) and don't mind a cheeky beer. I don't even own a TV so I keep myself busy in other ways! My perfect housemate would be someone who keeps the common rooms tidy, is relaxed and social but not a partier in the house, wants to be nice to the environment that loves animals and can be respectful when I have to sleep during the day after nightshift (only 2 days every 8). I have a fully equipped kitchen set up (microwave, fridge, coffee machine and cooking utensils etc.) brand new washing machine and that's it! No lounge or tv but some floor cushions! These items don't have to come with me but the option is there. I compost all my veggies to use in gardens etc. active recycler and nature lover, love the outdoors and am obsessed with travel.
Hi there, I'm Michelle, a 26 year old female. I'm currently teaching full time at a high school in Newcastle. I've lived in Sydney and overseas previously, and have been living at home while finishing studying at UoN. I've been house sitting in Merewether for 5 weeks, enjoyed it too much and am looking to move out again. I spend my time at the beach, getting outdoors, listening to music and watching debatably bad 90s shows on Netflix. Love travelling, adventures etc. Enjoy a variety of things from a good book, good glass of red, going to gigs and the occasional night out, but also like my down time. I'm a tidy and considerate person, and would like to live with some like-minded, friendly people.
Hi there. Im a 20 year old female uni student, looking to move out into a 2 bedroom apartment/house within close proximity to Merewether/Cooks Hill area. I want to find a suitable housemate first before going ahead and applying for properties with real estates. If you're a friendly female between the ages of 18-25, and are clean, organised, likes to be active, willing to learn to surf and are motivated in general, i'd love to meet you and discuss the future possibilities of being roomies. I'll be looking for a modern property with 2 bedrooms, between $280- $380 ( split in half ) a week Send me a message if you're keen and would like to have a chat! (i'm a fast replier) Looking forward to hearing from you all :')
I'm from not so sunny England and loving life in Newey! I'm looking for a place to stay at short term until my current employment ends in early June. I'd certainly be keen for a short term arrangement between 4-6 weeks if possible. I've lived with dozens of people over the years and consider them all good friends. I like to think i'm a tidy and respectful housemate (i've only got a backpack after all) and will be making every effort to be outside enjoying Australia while i still can!
Clean, friendly and laid back. Currently living in sydney but want to make the change back to Newcastle. Studying zoology online full time. I'm quite social and don't mind a drink or two with mates :) Feel free to ask if you'd like to know more!
Hi, I have been working full time as a training manager until this year when I started full time study in visual arts as a means of a career break. I've been working part time too as a consultant/trainer. I'm friendly and sociable and love a good laugh, but am respectful of other people's space and enjoy doing my own thing too. I'm house trained and can operate most appliances like vacuum cleaners and dishwashers ;) I enjoy staying active and some of my favourite things to do include kayaking, SUP, boxing, beach and photography. I am looking for a home that is clean, tidy and super quiet at night, close to town with a lovely flattie who is friendly and respectful of my space. I also need a car spot (street parking ok) and it would be fabulous if there was room for a 2m kayak but not essential. It would be perfect if Hunter Street was within walking distance, but as long as good public transport is near by this is ok too. I'm looking for a room that will fit a queen bed, tall boy and desk with a built-in included.
My name is Kiera, female, 24 years old and I am a non-smoker. I am a nurse (EEN), I work part time and study part time. I believe I have a cheerful disposition, respectful, reliable, neat and tidy. I love a dip at the beach and going to the gym when I have time. But I mostly just work and study. I am looking for an unfurnished bedroom (I would prefer a built in wardrobe) , the start of May. I’m looking to stay at least six months-12 months.

I am a 30yr old professional looking to move from Brisbane. I will be working long hours, but enjoy having a wine, cheese and crackers, and netflix. I like exercising, enjoy going on walks and cooking. I am clean, not a big party person, but excited to explore what Newcastle has to offer!
I'm an engineer currently overseas for work, returning to Newy (homeless) in May. Hoping to change the homeless part and at least know I'll be moving in somewhere before I get back. I enjoy living with people and like to think I'm a decent housemate. Clean, sociable, works full time, etc. I've lived in Newy for over a year and tend to frequent the beaches in the summer. My interests include kitesurfing, exercise, beer, festivals, the list goes on. House will ideally be furnished (except for the bedroom) however open to teaming up as it's probably about time I bought some of my own furniture.. Looking for anywhere in the city or close to. Cheers!

G'Day! I am a 23 year old student currently in my final semester of Design in Melbourne and I am planning to chase the warmth and head up to Newcastle more or less straight after I finish (around July - August). I love the beach, skating, surfing, exercise and the odd frosty on a hot day. I am a pretty easy going guy, clean, sociable but also enjoy time to myself to unwind and relax.
I enjoy making a home out of any place. I'm a nester and appreciate a clean environment that smell fab. I'm flexible and comfortable in any environment. I keep my space and public spaces clean. I have centerlink so rent is reliable, I'm currently looking for work however that won't hinder my ability to pay rent. Hey! We're Sophie and Jacob. We are both studying full time at the University of Newcastle and working part time. We're both laid back people who are easy to live with but also clean/tidy and respectful of other peoples space and values. We are very interested in starting a new share house in Merewether. We both enjoy being outdoors, going to the beach and seeing friends, but we aren't party people. However we do hope to become friends with potential housemates and enjoy a glass of wine or beers with them. Message us for any specifics you'd like to know or if you're also interested in starting a new sharehouse.
