My name is Beth. I'm 24, work about 15 hours a week in an office. Just finishing up my studies and looking for a full time job. I am cheerful and easy going. Like to socialise but also spending time on my own. I have a lovely cute 18 month old Maltese who is house trained.
**AVAILABLE IMMEDIATELY** These photos just don't do this pad justice! Main bedroom available is 3.5m x 3.7m including built-ins, which is nice and spacious for a queen bed and bedside, as well as a desk should you like one. Bedroom has a nice view of Newcastle, looking out west. Plus, carport car park. Win! 5 Minute walk to the beach or to Darby Street. Rad 2 bed apartment, freshly painted bedrooms and lounge room. Mostly furnished house, you'll just need a bed (or I can organise furnishings). Washing machine is also provided, which will be great if you like your clothes clean! Couch is also brand new, and as you can see in pictures, is big enough for a double bed pull out also. Bathroom to be renovated within the next 6 months, as well as kitchen within 6 months after that. I like nice things, so it will be nice and schmick for my tenants. Happy to negotiate the rental amount for the right tenant too, provided that its paid on time and you keep it nice and clean! And you can bring your cat or small dog, provided they don't eat skirting boards or furniture, and you pay for any damage they cause.
We are a couple looking for a share house in Newwy. I work full time in realestate and have a second job as a waitress on week nights and James is a musician and works at a cafe when he's not Gigging. We're very laid back and love hanging out with mates, although are both considerate and mature enough to live peacefully with others. We have an 8 month old black Labrador who is the most dosile dog you'll ever meet- so we're looking for somewhere pet friendly.
I have lots of sharehouse and hostel experience. In my old age I have learnt many things! I have tried to lease some three bedroom and two bedroom places but the real estate agents always want another person to sign on the lease. Ideally I am looking for someone to do that with me in a good spot. I will be new to Newcastle (from Sydney) so wanted to get involved in lots of sport and hit the beach up a lot. Wanting to be maximum 10 minutes drive to the beach (better than 50 minutes where I am now).
I'm David, a PhD researcher at the University. Looking for a new place to call home, I'm easy going, enjoy the occasional drink or meal with housemates. I'm pretty busy during the week with work but kick back when I can at the weekends. If I sound like someone you could get a long with, give me a shout. :)
Hi my name is Georgia, I'm 21 years old and have just moved down from the Gold Coast. I am currently studying a bachelor of biomedical science. I live a healthy and active lifestyle. I am looking to move into a share house with friendly and clean flatmates who don't mind a quiet drink and a chat
Hi! I'm from Amsterdam, The Netherlands and I will be doing my internship in Newcastle for 6 months, therefore I'm looking for a cosy house with social flatmates. I might need to be a bit serious during weekdays but in the weekend I would love to go to the beach/to bbq/to meeting new people/to party/club/bar/jogging/swimming/sipping wine/cocktails...
hi, I am currently up here in newcastle (from VIC) looking for accomodation before i start a new job in Feb. I've viewed a few places through realestates and i was planning on just renting a place myself, but there aren't a lot of options close to the city, so I thought I would try on here. I am starting working for a company called ALS as an engineering consultant and I am looking to rent a room for the next year close to the city. I spend most of my free time surfin, here in aus and overseas, keen to get back into some yoga up here and enjoy a healthy life style. I'm 33yo so I prefer to cook a good meal and share a bottle of wine with my house mates rather than go out partying with them. feel free to give me a call if you have a room spare. thanks Simon
Hey guys,,Im looking for a room for the next few months till i get anuf money togeather to get my own place..Iv moved over from perth and have my own company i work 6 days a week so im going be very busy in 2017..Im very neat and tidy and also luv to cook,at least 3 days a week ill be going gym after work and trying to get into yoga for my lower back and also enjoy a drink on the weekend to be social
I am currently studying at The University of Newcastle in my final year. Over Summer I am living and working in Sydney. I enjoy scuba diving, surfing and kitesurfing. I like the water, I am very clean and enjoy cooking. I am looking to live with other like-minded people. I am going to be moving back to Newcastle in February.
Hey! I'm a super clean & reliable, health conscious person who enjoys fitness; not into partying although I am a social person when it comes to outdoor activities. I don't drink. I love cooking. I surf & skate & am not home much because I enjoy being outdoors. I study at UON and work part-time. Looking for somewhere close to Bar Beach or Newcastle East beaches (within walking distance). Looking to move anytime in mid to late Feb preferably the week starting the 27th but can move earlier if I find the right place :) Message me if you think your place sounds fitting (preferably in Newcastle East, Cooks Hill, The Hill, Bar beach, Newcastle.)
Moving to Newcastle from Sydney next year to study my Masters in Architecture at UON (starting in Feb), and looking for a relaxed household to call home from around late January to mid-February. While I'll probably be spending a lot of time in the studios at uni, in my spare time I also like to lift weights and surf (poorly), go for rides on my motorbike, watch horror films and hang out at local coffee shops and bars. I'd love to be a part of a home with similarly-minded active, creative people, who like to share the occasional beer or glass of wine, maybe get a pub trivia team going Thanks!
Am very tidy and clean. Am from India. I will be joining in TAFE Hunter Campus Newcastle 2300 in January 25th. I will reach in Newcastle in 16th of this month. So what i wanted is a well furnished room with Air conditioning, unlimited internet, laundry facilities, fully furnished kitchen. can i get cooked food if possible (optional). KIndly let me know the details as soon as possible.
I'm a busy professional - investment adviser, with the same firm for over 10 years. I travel a lot to Sydney most weeks for meetings, and to see my 6 year old son who lives with his mother in Sydney. I enjoy walking along the beach, swimming, exercising, good food, fine wine, great company & movies. I also like to keep fit & healthy. I'm neat & tidy, and like to keep the place clean. I'm easygoing, considerate, and happy to help out.
Hi! I'm a full time art student and work weekends. 6 months+ is preferable but short term is ok until i find something long term This move has sprung on me rather quickly so i will have bond, but only when i get it back from my current place (our lease ends 27th jan) I love to cook (so theres always yummy leftovers because portion control is for suckers) not a big party person (being 30 i prefer red wine and cheese platters to beer bongs) but do enjoy a good bevvy filled banter in the yard and a cheeky night out once in a while. red wine is the nectar of the gods and cheese platters complete with crackers, dips and cured meat selection are dinners of champions who can't be bothered with real food. chocolate is a constant. disney isn't just for kids. quite happy to be anywhere on the scale of keeping to ourselves or becoming BFF's. (although some sort of happy interaction is pleasant and i'll be new to the area so friendly locals are always a nice find) i have a very clean indoor/outdoor cat. gypsy, she's a beautiful ginger kitty, v. small. she kinda hates everyone (not mad just very very shy). so won't be all up in your business. spends most of her time asleep in the shade or on my bed at night. not a clean freak but if things start growing in the sink and fridge that's not cool.
Hi all, Am a 35yr old male, moved down from QLD last year. looking for a place to call home. I an respectful to people & there personal space. Every easy going and I like a clean kitchen for some reason. I work full time Monday to Friday as an regional manager in low residential engineering firm. I don't party on school nights but like to have one or two with dinner or after work drinks when there on. Like to let my hair down on weekends with a good BBQ and any sport on the box and don't mind a Sunday sash, here in there. like to have a movie Marathon sometimes also. My interests are: 4x4 Camping Rugby league. ( Broncos supporter sorry) and I am a Queenslander again sorry. Lol Anything outdoors really. Good movie A nice meal at a restaurant (save cooking right) Fitness Spending time with family & friends.
I'm an easy going housemate who has been living in share houses for 15 years, Including one with 10 people, 3 animals, and at times, 3 children. I think if you can keep the peace there, you pretty much can anywhere :) I always treat my flatmates like family. Ie, equal parts helping each other out, but with total respect and not taking the piss. If its raining and i'm home, i'll bring in your washing. If I've got milk, and you need milk, you can have some. But at the same time, If you never clean, and eat all my food every day, that would suck. So I'll probably talk to you about it. I'm active and health conscious, so would like to live with other active people. But i wont judge you if you drink coke and eat maccas ether. I'm moving to Newcastle to study Occupational Therapy. Although i don't have a job yet (as i'm just finishing up my business in Sydney), Ive got plenty of money saved and have never been unemployed in my life, so I know i'll pick up work quickly. I will have no issue with paying rent. (I also am self employed as a energetic healer on the side) I love to meditate, swim, go to the live gigs, grow vegetables, cook, draw. I want to live with easy going people that would like to share a chat and a meal from time to time, but respect my need to study too.
I'm very easy going/tidy. I'm pretty social but I also like my own space every now and then! Abit about myself - I have lived out of home since I was 17 so I'm used to the dynamic of a share house and I enjoy hanging with older people. I surf so I'm looking to be close the the beach. I also dj/produce music and I'm studying art :)
Hey! My name is Sam, I'm 18 and super clean. I love surfing and playing sports. I'm looking for a place where i can get a lot of study done, but also have a laugh and an occasional drink with other flatmates.
Hello! I'm moving to Newcastle in Feb and am looking for a place to live. I'm 25 and working full time. I like sports, hanging out with friends and going for adventures on the weekend! I'm easy going, cheerful and considerate and am looking for similar housemates to live with :)
Easy going, relaxed (though busy) person about to start work as a junior doctor at John Hunter (shift work) late January. I like keeping fit but also enjoy social eating and drinking. Looking to join/create a share house or find a roommate with somewhat similar lifestyle that doesn't mind a bit of conversation! Would like to stay close to the beach/Darby st/city. I'm currently in Cooks Hill so able to do inspections whenever and I have quite a bit of furniture (fridge/washing machine/table and chairs) I could contribute or leave. My only need is a wardrobe. If you're interested get in touch!
G'day :) my name is Gizem and I'm 25 years old. Now, I am living in Germany and writing my master thesis in the building faculty of the German University in Stuttgart. During the exchange program of my university I will be a student of the University of Newcastle for 2 Semesters (15th Feb. until 15. Dec.). I am looking for a furnished accomodation for a maximum budget of $ 175 per week. Apart from that, I am looking for flatmates who are likewise curious about new cultures and are open minded. I chose the Australian Uni because I heart many positive points about this country. I am very looking forward to experience all of this by my own. In Germany, I also live in a shared flat so I am well up in living with other people. I would really looking forward hearing from you as soon as possible. Thanks mate :) Warm greetings from Germany, Gizem
Hey, my name is Emily, I'm 24 and moving to Newcastle to work at the hospital. I'm looking for a relaxed, social share house. I would love a place with a yard to have a little veggie patch. I enjoy having a few beers, playing guitar, scuba diving and yoga.
Hey gals! Looking for a short term FEMALE ONLY flat. I'm an architectural graduate from Uni of Newcastle. I've worked in Armidale, NSW after graduating and then moved back to Malaysia. Now I'm returning to Newcastle in hopes to reestablish myself here. (If you have architect friends whose firm needs a graduate, buzz me). I'm staying for a short term for the time being (bcos this depends on where I get a job). Really looking to stay somewhere near the beach so that I could wake up early and go for walk/swim :D I envision my life in Newcastle would be having a good job and be able to create artworks as a hobby. I've a few friends around Newcastle too. As a person, I am laid back, I love good food and good company, I enjoy visual art and some say I'm pretty cheeky and charming. I use to live with a landlady for a year in Armidale, and we had a very good relationship and we enjoyed each other's company. I would be a good housemate that has common sense in keeping the house clean (like taking out the garbage, pulling out the bins and not leaving the dishes out for a week) and I can't stress this enough but I would really appreciate you would be too. I don't drink alcohol and am not a party girl. Well, party outside but coming home to a calm house is ideal.
I'm full of excellent banter, love a cheeky drink and am always up for a chat. I'm super clean and tidy And have memorized every episode of friends hahaha. I love music, animals (but don't have any), drinks, mates, the gym, sports (watching/playing), beach and sun daily. Making me the ideal roommate ✌🏻
Happy for team up to rent a new place or join current residents. Moving to Newcastle for employment. I work in sports which means i work odd hours and weekends. Very social personality and have no problem holding a conversation. Easy going and (self proclaimed) fun flatmate.
My name is Jerome and I am looking to move from Melbourne to Newcastle for work. I currently work at John Hunter Hospital and will look to move on the 31st of January. I have lived out of home for eight years. As a tenant/housemate, I always clean up after myself and care for the property as if it were mine own. In my spare time I like to surf, cycle, eat fries and spend time with my friends. I enjoy living with people that are professional, positive and funny. Please feel free to get in touch if you have a room available or would like to team up. Jerome
Hi, my name is Summer! Originally from Adelaide, I am packing my bags, moving interstate to complete the same degree available at Flinders- the uni a mere 15 minutes from where I currently live. But hey, I love adventure and the idea of exploring somewhere new! I would like to think I am pretty laid back. I love having a good time with friends whether that be out somewhere exploring or in the comfort of my own living room. I am a sucker for a good TV show, and as much as I hate to admit it, I am completely Netflix obsessed. But come on, who can resist Millie Bobby Brown and the rest of the gang from Stranger Things?! I am super passionate about writing and love discussing/sharing opinions and facts about history. I also love the beach, having a kick of the footy, the concept of traveling (I haven't actually been outside of Aus before) and books! I am looking for a house to share with likeminded people, who are independent, but happy to spend the weekend hanging out and having some fun!
40 High school teacher Quiet, respectful and collaborative flatmate. My job requires me to be gone 7am to 4pm. Can and willing to contribute to the household in any manner conducive to harmony and functionality. Varied interests and hobbies.
