I am clean, tidy and lots of fun. Am just as happy going out as staying in. Don't mind a drink and being social but also happy chilling in front of the tv. Not normally home weekdays between 8 & 6 as am at work. Love to travel and am a travel agency manager which is handy for everyone!
Hi, I'm Becky. I'm a professional working in disability / social justice and I'm moving to Newcastle from Melbourne to work, and to possibly do a Masters in Public Health later in the year. I'm a photographer and I love camping, animal spotting, yoga, and cinema. I'm a friendly, social, relaxed, clean and considerate housemate. I've over 10 years housesharing and I've made some great ongoing friendships from it. I'd love to find a home with people who have their own lives but who are social and open to a drink or occasional shared meals and adventures. I have friends in the area but would like to meet more locals. I also hope to find a place where there is a possibly of introducing a dog some time in the future (I don't have a dog yet but plan to get one once settled).
Hi! I'm an exchange student from Sweden arriving in Newcastle on 11/03/17 for one semester of full time studing. Easy going, social and responsible. Looking for anything furnished with friendly inhabitants! :-)
It's in a central location to the Newcastle cbd, honey suckle and Hamilton. Close to public transport. Close to Newcastle beaches. The available room is upstairs and private with built in wardrobes and there is also additional storage room.
Hey I'm Kimberly. I'm looking to live with fun, nice and social people! I don't want to be there to just rent a room. I'm a very easy going, neat and tidy person! Always respectful towards anyone's privacy and down time etc. Gender isn't an issue. Would prefer to live with people between 18-25. If you have/know of a place just message me with a bit about yourself and the place etc. xx
Hi I'm Hayley, I work full time, I'm an easy going person who enjoys a good chat however I also appreciate my own space and am respectful of the space of others. As long as the common areas in the house are clean I'm happy, but funky smells coming from rooms are gross. I've been living alone for the last six months but would love to find a place with a housemate or two as a way to mix things up a bit and a way to meet new people. I enjoy going to the beach, for hikes or visiting family on the weekends and even having social drink here or there, as well as reading, attempting to draw and sitting and watching a good movie or tv show. I also have a cat that I have recently adopted so she will be coming with me. She is very affectionate and has previously been socialized with other cats, however any dogs would need to remain in the yard. I'm hoping to find a housemate or two who I hope to get to know as friends. I'm preferably looking to start a new share house as I have some furniture from my time living on my own. Feel free to message me with any questions.

Hello! My names Eamon (19), I'm from the Central Coast and am moving to Newcastle to be closer to UON. I can have fun and love to socialise and make new friends but I'm also respectful of other people (I won't throw parties without asking other housemates). I'm neat and tidy and respectful of other people's belongings. I would like a place where all the roommates are friends and get along well as its where we will spend most of our time. I'm also looking at whole houses to rent so if anyone wants to teamup I have a few places I'm looking at near the uni saved.
Hi, We're a couple (25 and 30) with a well trained golden retriever, and our fur baby (cringe...sorry) must come with us. We're laid back and chill, but we also know how to clean and we are sociable but not loud. We're focused on doing well at work and uni and meeting some really cool people along the way. I'm from Newcastle, my husband is Mexican-American (California). He makes great tacos, enchiladas and nachos, and he's really into science (doing open foundation to get into diagnostic radiography) but used to work as a comedian (don't worry though, he's not annoying). I'm working part-time and thinking about finishing a grad dip in psychology. I love movies, laughing and anything creative...save subway artistry. We are looking for a room in a share house with an ensuite or a granny flat. If you feel like getting in touch, just give us a bell or send us an email : )
G'day Mate, My names Dan and I am currently studying a sound engineering course at Tighes Hill TAFE. I am From the Hunter Valley region and would like a change of scenery. I have been offered a job as a sound technician in the Newcastle area but until I am based there they will not accept, hence the urgency of residents. My main interests would be socializing with mates, having a few beers, swimming at the beach, lots of fishing and absolutely anything music related. Cheers, Dan
I am in an unusual position l work full -time an hour north of Newcastle l live in the residences attached to my practice and so really only want somewhere to escape to maybe one night during the week and on weekends. I prefer it to be near the beaches preferably one with an ocean swimming pool.
The location is probably the big plus here, we have a peaceful house looking for a new flatmate. Clean and friendly, we enjoy cooking and sharing some time together. We both work odd hours so catch up when we can. Otherwise we do our own thing. Large spacious air conditioned living areas, two sunlit garden courtyards and huge gourmet kitchen and dining area. Would suit a young female professional. The room is private, carpeted and has a fan, double mirrored built in wardrobe and a large bathroom. We are hoping to find someone who is looking for a comfortable home. We are very easy going, enjoy a laugh. The bike and walking path is at the front door. we are on the water and have access to park lands. 15 minutes walk to town and 10 min bike ride. Very close to transport, the beach and city. Would suit a Uni student or fully employed woman. Internet included in the rent and other bills split.
Modern townhouse with easy access to beaches and the city. The room has carpet, large mirrored double built in wardrobe and is furnished with a double bed and side table and desk if needed. The bathroom is shared with one other and has a shower and bath. The waterfront townhouse has a huge downstairs air conditioned living area. Fully equipped modern kitchen, laundry and two courtyards. Bills are shared. we cook for ourselves as we work different hours. We are two fully employed professional females looking for a similar female flatmate to fit into our peaceful household and prefer someone looking for long term accommodation.close to beaches and city. Internet and a security garage space is included.
We have a beautiful room in a very happy household sharing an executive townhouse close to the beach and city. The room is carpeted with a double mirrored builtin wardrobe. The room is furnished with a double bed, side table and desk if needed. Or can be unfurnished if needed. It has a large bathroom that is shared with one other female. The house is fully furnished with a huge air conditioned living area and two garden courtyards. We are on the waterfront at Maryville and the bike path and parks are at the front door. There is one cat in residence, sorry no other pets allowed. We are looking for someone who is respectful and tidy, but also friendly. It's not a party house and would suit a mature person, employed or someone serious about study. The house currently has two young professionals. Internet and garage space are included. Other bills are shared.
Looking for a cool place to move in to around February. I work random days through the week and on the weekends and I am also studying some maritime qualifications which keeps me pretty busy and I try and get out doors to the beach as often as possible. I'm relaxed, tidy and easy to get along with so I'm looking for similar house mates. Hoping for a place somewhere in town within a short driving/walking distance to the beach so Cooks Hill, Hamilton, Carrington, Maryville, Wickham anywhere kind of in that area would be great. I have a few surfboards, paddle boards, camping stuff etc so be good if the place had a garage or somewhere to keep that sort of gear.
Originally from Sydney I have been living in Newcastle for the past year and have enjoyed every minute of it. I am a young professional that works full time within the region. I'm fairly quiet in nature and laid back but love to share meals, drinks and generally socialise. In my spare time I enjoy TV, the beach and keeping fit (though my arms currently in a sling!). I am a clean person that respects my own privacy and others equally.
My name is Beth I'm 25 and I am cheerful and very easy going. I am currently in my honours year of psychology so I spend most of my time concentrating on my studies. I like to socialise but also spending time on my own. My hobbies include Yoga (at yoga loft) swimming, walking, drawing and vegging out in front of the tv. I am super tidy and not a party animal, my party days are well and truely behind me. I have a very cute 3 year old Maltese who is house trained and very well behaved (you wouldn't even notice she was around).
Hi, I'm a seasoned housemate and pride myself on living in clean, respectful environments. Currently studying Occupational Therapy at Newcastle University and work part-time for myself. I am the proud owner of an eight year old Alaskan malamute, name Mia. She is too friendly and difficulty not to dote on. I'm looking for a place that I can relax and retire to. My work is contractual and often done during uni holidays, where I can be away for weeks at a time. I'm not a partier at all and enjoy keeping fit with Mia or hitting the gym regularly. I'd like to live in a house that is friendly and welcoming. I am currently in the Middle East for work and looking for a place to move into on my return.
Only a beautiful 20 minute walk along the water to Newcastle CBD or 2 minutes drive. Big, beautiful, light filled house with a big yard. Security bond is required. Please no couples. Preferably a young uni student or worker who's easy going and reliable. Great atmosphere in the area and a very friendly community. I'm just after someone who will be clean, respectful and friendly. I have excellent wifi too; so a total bonus for a student/worker who needs internet at home. Also, I have a gorgeous pupper named comet who lives here with me. However, I am not approved for other animals sorry! P.S. Duration of stay may be extended depending on how well you and I both enjoy living together!
Fully furnished modern house in Mayfield East, walking distance to Tighes Hill Tafe, shared off street parking. 10 minutes from Newcastle CBD. Large room with huge built-in wardrobes, bathroom with rain shower is shared with 1 other flatmate. A 6 month lease will need to be signed with Leah Jay.
Quiet street with friendly neighbours. Walking distance to public pool. Woolworths and Aldi only a few minute drive. ~5 min drive to Beaumont St. ~10 min drive to beaches. Beautiful two bedroom house with two living areas, large kitchen, separate laundry and second toilet, storage shed for bikes/surf boards etc. spacious backyard (I own a labrador- so only enquire if you like dogs- she's not an inside dog).
Large room available in a great spot in Maryville, 10 min from the city. Old house which has been recently renovated with an open plan kitchen and living room. House is completely furnished besides the available room. It has a good sized yard with both grass and concrete perfect for BBQ’s or smallish gatherings. The house also has a large single garage and features gas for both cooking & hot water. I have unlimited NBN getting installed early January, also has a sun/study room at the front of the house. It’s in an awesome location only 10 min walk to Beaumont Street and Hamilton Station, also has a bus stop 10 metres from the front door to get into the city.
Heya, I'm a full-time working dad (Monday-Friday for the government) to a quiet and polite 9 year old gal. My daughter is with me 6 nights a fortnight so I'm essentially looking for two rooms, open to all options but a team-up would be cool (obviously in a 3 bedroom house you would be paying less but only sharing with 1.5 humans :)) - I already have wifi which is movable. I have two cats too who are quite friendly and are litter trained. Other than that I'm pretty chill, like a wine, the beach (am there a lot in summer), reading, and binge watching the odd tv series. I eat fairly healthy and don't mind what kind of diets people have. Only my room and car are messy - so you wouldn't be living with a slob :) I do smoke casually but always outside and it's pretty irregular. I have all the needed household items from toaster to a fridge and washing machine!
3 bedroom house in Maryville Quiet location Sharing with shift worker $270 a week rent plus bills Choice of two rooms Close to shops and transport Five minutes drive from the beach Close to pubs and clubs Stones throw from Beaumont st
Easy going roomate, working fulltime in Maitland. Moved to Newcastle last year, still meeting people/ making friends. Likes to keep a clean house, loves to cook and chilled drinks on the weekend.
I'm a 24 year horticulturalist from Melbourne recently moved to Newcastle as my girlfriend is studying physio at the uni. I have recently got a full time job at the council as a tree worker. I enjoy Surfing, Spear fishing and camping. Aisha is a full time physio student that works as a barista on weekends.
I'm easy going and low maintenance, always up for a laugh and good conversation and I respect privacy and personal space. I have just moved from far north Queensland and am looking to start a whole new life here! I love the outdoors and exploring, live music and anything creative! Looking for an easy going household, so if you have something you think would suit me please get in touch😆
I have recently graduated from a Bachelor of Science in Sydney, and am looking for a place to live in the Newcastle area for 6 months. I am an energetic and fun-loving person who enjoys hiking, climbing (novice), cycling, dancing, and going to the beach. I also like relaxing with a glass of wine or a schooner, and I love seeing live music. I am relaxed and easy to live with, but still pride myself on being clean and tidy. I have my own car and bicycle.
Hey I'm Mitch, I'm a very easy going dude that is looking for a comfortable place to live. I'm clean, tidy and organised by nature but wont be a Nazi about it 24/7 haha. I am very sociable and have a great outgoing relationship with my friends/family but I'm not looking to join a rundown party house at all! Beers and Wines by the beach and maybe some eggs Benedict on the weekend sounds good to me. I also like to train at the Gym 4-5 times a week and go for Jogs with my doggo. She is a very obedient outside pet that is loved by everyone who meets her. She will reside with me so pets need to be considered but I can assure she is not a problem at all. I currently own a property in Beresfield but due to a split with my partner we are now going through the process of selling and I plan to rent for at least 12 months provided the place is comfortable and flatmates are friendly :) Location needs to be close to Newcastle preferably but may consider other options. I work full-time (40+ hours) and study part time Via Correspondence. So with work study and Gym Mon-Fri I will be out of your hair haha but when it comes to the weekend I'm very easy to get along with! :) And I am not lazy in the slightest so Yard/pool maintenance is not problem what so ever. Let me know if I could be considered. Cheers.
Hi, I'm Madalyn. Looking for someone to live with who is easy to get along with, clean and tidy. I work full time as a registered nurse. Looking for like minded people who like to socialise on the weekend either at home with wine and a good cheese board or head out too.
My name is Chloe. I am 24 and work full-time as a marketing coordinator for a fluid power company. I also study my bachelor of communications via correspondence. On the weekends I like going to the markets, exercising, and going to the beach etc. I don't mind a wine and social activities.
I'll keep this short and sweet :) I'm looking for a room to rent in the Newcastle region (preferably close to the beach). I'm 27. I work full-time Monday to Friday. I love getting to the beach and the gym! I love a drink and socializing with friends. But I also like some quiet time! I'm respectable & clean
Hi, I'm Sarah. I'm studying my Masters in Social Work and working in mental health with an NGO. My current real estate (Nextview Property) are happy to rent to me again so If I can find one or two others to live with me, we're good! I'm an amazing housemate and have an indoor rabbit named Margot that spends her days getting pats. She is smart, litter trained and more of a cat-dog. I'm very clean, considerate of all my housemates, responsible, active, enjoy a glass of wine, hanging out and gaming. I am open to living pretty much anywhere from Wallsend to Newcastle.
Hi, I am looking for a place to live close to Newcastle. I have a 5 yo English staff so it needs to be pet friendly. I work full time as an electrician. I am pretty quiet mid week as I start work quite early. I am open minded and get on with most people. I am past the party all night stage but do enjoy going out and occasionally drink on weekends. I don't smoke and like to stay fit and healthy.
Mate, where do I start? This house has got soul. It's a spacious single-storey place in early 1900's style that the owner has added to over time in keeping with its theme - wood and stone with tiled and carpeted interiors. Just some of the perks of living here: * Front porch and pergola at the rear * Huge kitchen * Shower and bath * Lush green yards * A thirty-second walk from the main road w/ a bottle-o, grocer, bakery, pubs, and the best tacos in Newy * On-street parking and a bus runs just around the corner * Park/running track along the river * A short walk over the bridge from Wickham/Honeysuckle * Foxtel * NBN/wifi Most of the house is furnished except for the vacant room, which is at the front of the house with built-ins and a window. There's room in the kitchen to put an additional (medium-sized) fridge if you'd prefer to keep your own. The backyard is shared with a house on the same property but it is quiet and private. Smoking is permitted outdoors. Bills/utilities included in rent.
