Hi! I am Lisa-Marie, a 22-years old Dutch graduate student in the field of pharmacy. I am looking for a nice place to stay in Newcastle, as I will perform my MSc research project at UON. I would really appreciate a clean house with chill flatmates to come home to at the end of a hectic day, but most importantly I would love roommates who are open for a nice chat and a glass tea / wine. Ofc with respect for eachothers privacy ;) little bit about me: when I am free I love to meet new people / hang out with them, explore new restaurants / bars, go to the beach, bake, dance or do yoga.
Hey there 👋🏼 My partner and I are looking at moving out together, either into a house that's already being rented or joining forces with someone else looking for a place. ✊🏼 We both work fulltime, enjoy our own quiet time during the week, but also enjoy a wine on the weekend. Love cooking and making a mean feast, eating is probably both our favourite hobbie. Hit us up if you're interested 😎🤘🏼
I’m 30 years old, work full-time as a support worker and am an honest, respectful person. When I’m not at work, I’m at the beach or catching up with friends. I’m a social person and easy to get along with. I have a beautiful staffy that will come with me. He is 3 years old and very friendly. I’m looking for a place with a fenced yard & friendly housemates.
I work 4 days a week as a remedial massage therapist, and am in my second year studying a bachelor of exercise and sport science at UoN. I am a very relaxed housemate, I'm clean, neat and quiet; but I also won't bug you about not washing the dishes or making noise at weird hours. I am a keen gardener and come with a whole stack of herbs, succulents and bonsai included, I also have three bantam chooks which I would prefer to keep with me but I can rehome. Hit me up if you want me to live with you, I promise I'm not a dickhead.
Work full time in Marketing Wanting a place for me and my dog, Muffin :) I am very laid back person, clean and love getting outdoors. I go camping a lot and also have a part-time side business. I am looking for a place with a good size backyard for my dog.
Hello fellow humans, My name is Chez and I am currently a full time student at tafe, also seeking work and planning on going to UNI next year. I am very respectful and considerate and always clean up after myself. I am extremely friendly and very easy to talk to. I like to spend my spare time spending time with my friends and family, I also really enjoy my alone time playing my console and also love competing in gaming comps. I am looking for an unfurnished room in a house, unit or apartment that I can move into by next month (October). I hope you consider me for any existing or upcoming rooms. Yours sincerely, Chez
Hello! My partner Eamon and I have just moved from Sydney to Newcastle for something different and a bit of fun. We would love to move in with like-minded, similar aged people we could hang out with but if you’re not into that we’re more than happy keeping to ourselves! I work in hospitality and Eamon is a carpenter who can fix almost anything... it’s very handy to live with a handy man. We’re clean, respectful, tidy and relatively quiet house mates and pretty cool people in general... We look forward to moving in with you! Caitie and Eamon.
Hi I am hanna working full time (also international student from japan) and I am looking for an accommodation, I planning to study at Tafe newcastle from November and I am planning to move on November 3-4. I am looking for an place where I have my private space, and inclusive of bills and internet in Newcastle area. I am friendly, quiet, I do the chores, I don't smoke, I drink occasionally and I do love animals. I also love watching tv most especially, series and specials, movies, listening to music and I do love outdoor activities
I'm looking for a room at the end of October to move into. I'm a pretty clean and outgoing person who is happy to either keep to themselves or be social and hang out with housemates. I'm not a big house partier but I am happy to go for beers/a glass of wine on the weekend or with housemates. I work part-time throughout the week during the days and occasionally I work at functions in Hospitality throughout the night. I am open to a team up or moving into a already established share-house.
I'm tidy, friendly and always pay rent on time.
We are a couple who has spent the past year living up on Hamilton Island and working down in Perisher. We are looking for somewhere more permanent to call home for a while. We love the beach, home cooked meals and adventure. Dave has worked as a snowboard instructor and a zip line guide, and enjoys a game of footy and a cold one. Olivia enjoys swimming, rock climbing and yoga, and together we make some delicious dinners. (Dave mainly just stirs the food but he does a good job!) We are easy going and chilled out, just looking for a nice place to call home.

You will be sharing with two easygoing professional individuals. Looking for a respectful housemate.

I'm Jess, I'm 22 and work full time in Bunnings Trade. Born and bred in Newcastle but wanting to move further into the city. I'm looking for a cosy household with a great housemate dynamic. I'm considerate of others, tidy and love to cook/bake cakes on a regular basis. I'm very much a home body and tend to keep to myself, staying in most nights, but I do enjoy the odd pub feed and frequent wine nights (cheese platters included of course)! Moving with me will be a lot of potted indoor/outdoor plants so I'll definitely make the house greener! I also have two adorable house trained ferrets who will be moving with me. They're desexed males (don't smell) and people have a lot of misconceptions about them, so feel free to ask me any questions about them! If I sound like housemate potential feel free to send me a message.
I am a 22 year old Artist from Chicago who will be living in Newcastle for a few years on a working holiday visa! I am a vegan who is very clean and loves plants and mirrors! I am ideally looking to move in by October 1st! I lived in Maryville for a month in April so I already have connections but am always on the look out for more friends :)
I'm Julia, 26 years old and am looking for a room in a shared house in Newcastle area from mid of October. I'm doing my PhD in human physiology at the University of Newcastle. I am very open-minded, friendly and tidy. I would love to have housemates with whom I can have a chat or share a meal/drink with :)
I’m currently living on my own and looking to move into a share house in October. I am currently working and studying full time - needless to say I’m pretty busy. When free I love to spend time with friends, get outdoors and explore new places, read, and just relax! I’m fairly active, quiet, laid back but also a low key neat freak. I’m open to pets.
I like to cook, chill out to music, going to the beach, and trying new things. I’m moving from around five hours away, and will most likely have a part time job or two while attending uni full time. Just a typical soon to be uni student looking for a place to live. I’m realiable, respectful and honest and some say I’m too nice but there’s nothing wrong with that. I like to decorate so someone whose open to letting me add my little flourishes would be great☺️
Place is right on the water across from Carrington. Spacious house with a big open plan kitchen. Will be sharing bathroom with one other or have your own if you are a couple. Professionals only. It is a nice and clean place that enjoys an evening beer or wine. It welcomes happy people. Xx

Hi, I am Russ, I am an engineer moving to Newcastle for a new job. I am 29 and looking for a room in a shared house. I’m clean and tidy, easy going, respectful, usually quiet and I keep myself busy, but do enjoy socialising over coffee or a wine and eating out with friends. I enjoy cooking (usually something like Indian, Chinese or Korean) reading, exploring places, travelling and chats. I am originally from Perth but relocated to Canberra for university, and now to Newcastle!
My name is Emma, I'm 22 and I'm studying a Bachelor of Pharmacy full-time at UON. I'm currently working casually in retail to help support my studies. I'm pretty easy going and friendly, and am a tidy person. I spend my free time playing video games, listening to music, hanging with friends, and exploring places around the Newcastle area. University/studying is my priority. I enjoy casual drinks/catch ups with friends every now and again but I am definitely not interested in a party house. I'm looking for house mates who share similar values and a place that I can focus on my work. If there's anything else you'd like to know please don't hesitate to ask :)
G,day. April here. Im residing back to Newy ( Novocastrian born and bred), to study Bachelor of Nursing and working part time to and from Syd in the Fashion industry. Terrible at 'selling' myself in bio's, so ill simplify it with dot points. * Well accustom to housemate etiquette * Always up for the following- outing activity ( live gigs, beach, bush walking/running), A Netflix or movie binge, Cooking up a barbie or a feast for family and friends, atc. * I can vacuum til the cows come home if i have the right soundtrack. Includes all matters of cleaning actually. * I own a set of wheels, so car pooling/ lifts/ late night early morning pick ups/ roads trips are A-ok!. Looking for a place with in roughly 15km radius of Newcastle city. Reasonable size room and built in wardrobe would be great! unfurnished is a-ok , though if it has a bed already thats a plus. Dont get the chance to go out alot but enjoy live music when opportunity arises. Dont have any special diets or restrictions. Pets are a huge perk. Looking for a pad that has easy going, just legendary chums and people. Cheers
Hey there! I’m an ex-RAAFie, genuine all-round fun guy, just moved out of a place in The Hill, looking for somewhere to share with some like-minded people! I love dogs, cats too, so if you’ve got either, that’s all cool with me! I’m pretty bloody tidy, always clean up after myself. Can cook the basics, but don’t mind ordering take out, or checking out local restaurants 👌 I’m a non-drinker and non-smoker, I can keep to myself or am happy to have a chat!
Hello, I'm happy to co-habit with people who clean up their own mess, and just try to get along well. I'm easy to get along with, I buy my own groceries, and help out with taking out the rubbish and keeping shared spaces clean. I prefer a clean house, but I'm not a neat freak. I don't smoke, and I'm able to tidily organise my belongings in the kitchen and shared spaces. I let people sleep at night - if it's late, I'll have my shows down low, or check to make sure it's not inconveniencing people if friends come over for a late night hang out.
I’m pretty easygoing, I’m clean and I was a chef for 15+ years....yummm! I’m an Aussie citizen now, but originally from Ireland. Studying to be a dietitian at UON . Work at Maitland Private Hospital. Enjoy walking my doggo .. Dougal and yoga
Carrington is a pretty good thing, the house holds a fair bit of character, older but central to all kinds of needs. A mere minute walk to Carrington Place, the bowlo, hairdressers and most importantly the bottle shop. The room has a high ceiling, spacious with built ins and opens up onto a deck with a green backyard. Rad bathroom with dj-booth shower and bath. Plenty of space in the lounge room for couches etc.
This is a charming Islington cottage with floor boards throughout, a leafy garden and front and back verandahs. We have 2 resident chickens and a small dog (sorry he doesn't want a dog housemate). We are looking for a housemate who would like to make this their home, would appreciate the property and help to take care of it. The house is fully furnished and lovingly decorated with all appliances etc. It is extremely close to public transport, cycle ways and beaumont street. It also has a secure lockable fenced yard. The available room is the largest in the house, fully furnished with comfortable queen bed, wardrobe, dresser, curtains, desk, fan and is reverse cycle air conditioned. We understand that this circumstances change but we are ideally looking for someone who is keen to move in and stay medium to long term.
