Another novocastrian returning after spending a few years in Sydney. Good at cleaning up after myself, always pay my rent on time, fairly quiet and easy going but always happy to have a chat over a beer or cuppa - gin and tonic is my weapon of choice. Not adverse to communal activities but don't mind flying solo. Bit of a nerd so you will most often find me gaming or reading in my spare time. I also have a small dog (jack russell - 12yo) Max who is also pretty chilled, rarely barks, is fully house trained and loves a snack, cuddle or wrestle. Financially, I am currently only doing irregular work for a friend until I can find something more suitable up here and get established but I receive benefits to assist and am eligible for rent assistance in the meantime. I usually work in retail alcohol both digital and brick & mortar stores or pouring beers. If you think I sound like a suitable candidate for your household please don't hesitate to contact me. I'm also more than happy to provide references. Happy hunting!
Im starting a job in Rutherford but would prefer to live closer to the coast. Im an ex-Chef and also handy with tools. Im not a neat freak but I do like to keep things tidy. I am a green thumb (herbs and veggies for my food) and love "nerding out" to a movie or tv series often enough. Im pretty tolerant of most things and am adaptive. Im single with no attachments and am going to be focusing on work. If you know local fishing spots id be keen to meet you ;)
20 yo. ~ part-time uni student ~ part-time waitress. Looking for a homey feel close enough to the ocean and town and kind people to share a home with. I’m no partier but always love a good time. I’m just definitely more refined to the casual-beers-at-home-amongst-friends thing. Cheese platters are very good too. let me know if you’re interested, would love to hear from you.
Looking for someone to share a beautiful, large, fully furnished home in Tighes Hill available mid-April. Big bedroom (unfurnished) with huge built in. Leafy, amazing little garden, polished floorboards and high ceilings. Live with one female, (In my 30s, work as a stylist, spare time skater) and an excited, slightly neurotic kelpie. Looking for an easygoing, friendly, respectful, honest, tidy flatmate to share with. $200 per week plus utilities. This is what my current flatmates review ... In 6 weeks I will be leaving hands down, the raddest housemate and best vibes home I have ever had. While this is sad news for me it could be an amazing opportunity for someone else. Big room with built ins, goregous old house with bulk sweet plants and unique style comes with special doge and the best house mate/ drinking buddy/ counsellor and skate coach a human could ask for. Situated in the thriving hub of Tighes Hill with ample parking. The back yard is a little forest perfect for drinking your woes away. Enquire within ✌
Considerate and clean, a bit introverted but also sociable, good food and animal lover looking for a friendly and respectful place, closer to uni than my home currently is. I've just moved back home (near Clarence Town from Wollongong) and am studying at UoN full-time. I'm doing a year in the Bachelor of Arts course, enjoying a chance at electives!, and aim to transfer to Occupational Therapy in 2019. I'm interested in travel, nature, good food, music and well-being, permaculture, cycling, art and animals. Why am I good to live with? * I have always paid my rent and bills on time and without issues. * I will respect your space but would also like to have house dinners sometimes. * I like a clean home where we all feel comfortable and respected. * I've shared with quiet a few people in my travels and am open minded and considerate of who I'll be sharing with next. * Sometimes I pet-sit for people so you might get a break from me every now and again ( : What I'm looking for: The people I live with is the most important aspect of house hunting for me... I like people who inspire or encourage a good lifestyle or connection with others, I'm not looking for a party house or a place where we can't communicate with each other (the good and the bad). I'm looking to get along with my future housemates and have time together as a house, every so often, for people who can live independent lives, cohesively. I don't mind living with people who are very different to me, often its quite fun being around others so different and getting to enjoy new things, however like minded is what i'm ultimately aiming for. I hope to feel comfortable and at home where I can have friends over occasionally. I'm happy at home currently and so am not in a rush to find a place, i'm just looking for a good fit, for new people and perspectives and for a place closer to uni than i am now. Feel free to ask me anything or for references. INFJ (personality type- but that's all just a bit of fun really, i'm sure we are all more than just a 'type', though i do enjoy the quizzes sometimes) :-)
First off, the house is huge! Lots of room, lovely yards and undercover outdoor entertaining area. Please note the photos listed are before I moved in. The house is fully furnished (except for your bedroom), LGBTQ friendly, close to public transport and Beaumont st is a short walk away. Not a party house (okay, maybe on the very odd occasion), I work weekends and have very little spare time so a quiet vibe is what I'm about. Obvious things like sharing household chores and costs (toilet paper, washing detergent, yard maintenance etc), being tidy in general and respect for my belongings are expected, but otherwise, I'm pretty laid back. There are two bedrooms to choose from, if you'd like to rent both for extra space I'm open to that.
I'm a classical pianist and piano teacher, moving back to Ncle after a few years in Sydney. I have a cat, not a lot of furniture (I'm a regular purger of 'stuff'), and two motorbikes I'd want to keep off-street. Fairly quiet, (except for playing the piano), I prefer books and the garden and outdoor activity to being indoors watching TV. I don't watch commercial TV (hate ads), nor listen to commercial radio, but will happily binge a good show on Netflix, or listen to ABC radio or music while about the house. Currently I'm also applying for places to rent on my own, into which I'd bring a flatmate, and once I'm back north I'll be looking into the investment property market.
Hey there I'm Quinn :) I'm 25 and working full time in health. I've just moved over from Adelaide so I'm looking for a fun and friendly place to call home. I'm easy going, sociable and appreciate a good laugh. I've lived in shared accomodation for the past 5 years with some really cool people so I'm properly used to sharehouse etiquette and am very respectful of personal space. I’m no party animal but I enjoy going out for a drink or two over the weekend and am equally happy to chill out in front of the TV or with a good book. I like to keep active by going for a run or the gym or basically anything outdoors. If you think we'd get along, feel free to swing me a message.
Hey I’m Victoria, I’m from Canberra moving to Newcastle to start a job on the 9th of April - looking to move down on the 30-31 March. I am looking to team up with 2 female housemates and find our own cool place to call home. I’ll be working full time Monday to Friday so prefer to live with somone who works similar hours. I’ve got furniture to fill a whole house including a spare bed so want to bring everything with me if possible!!! Everything is brand new appliances, TV the works. A bit about me; - I love a beer after work and even more on the weekends. - I’m a keen snowboarder so hoping to switch it up for a surfboard. - I’m loud and try to be funny but you’ll spend more time laughing at my clumsiness than my jokes - I’m mad about live music.. faves are sticky fingers and jungle giants - I have a puppy named Braxton he’s a small English Staffy and the best trained dog you will ever meet because I’m a tough love kinda mum. (He will be coming with me) - I’m super clean freak so don’t mind me when I clean up after you Overall I’m pretty keen to get down and find a sick place and make some new friends soooo.... Hopefully you read this and think wow what a cool lass, let’s team up and find a rad house we can call our own ;) Open to live anywhere that’s cute, happy to pay more for the master room.
Hey my names Ty, i’m 21 years old i just moved to newcastle recently and would love to hear from people either wanting to team up or someone who has a room to rent be good to hear from you! i’m easy going, laid back easy to have a convo with. don’t mind having a few beers over the weekend usually out with mates but don’t make noise i’m looking for a stable place to live to get a job.
I'm generally happy, easy going, clean and like to have a social drink sometimes on weekend. I like to get outside and explore when I can, I eat healthy in fact I love to cook I have a cat, he is almost two and is social (with other cats), friendly, affectionate. and playful. He has a scratching post so doesn't attack furniture and is toilet trained.
Hi! I’m looking for a short term rental while I look for a whole house with a friend :) looking to stay until the first week of April, ready to move ASAP. Ideal for someone leaving their room behind while travelling, or while you search for the perfect housemate. I work 30 hrs a week in a pub and spend the rest of my time cooking, riding my bike and hanging with my girlfriend. It’s likely that I’ll spend 2-3 nights a week at her house anyway, plus working nights, so I won’t be around too much! If you have anything around Maryville, Wickham, Islington, Hamilton etc for $120-$170 a week let me know :)
I'm just a fun loving guy, tidy and relatively organized, love to take pride in where i live. Pretty outgoing, pretty happy with being on my own. Born and raised in Newcastle, never actually lived anywhere else, massively into cooking for others. I like to go out here and there when I can, few drinks around town, see whats on, usually catch me at some music gig in town. I don't play an instrument myself but I do like to listen to my music out loud, but it doesn't have to be loud to enjoy it. MASSIVE animal fan.
Looking to move away from rural Gloucester as I’m studying at hunter tafe a few days a week. Looking for a place to stay as work is being transferred into Newcastle as well,. Clean, respectful, private, social, beach, adventures, relaxed. Prefer a place with good street parking or off street, as I have to travel a lot.
I am a young lad who goes to uni and also has a part time job so sometimes I might get busy but at the end of being productive I like to relax and refresh by doing fun activities like going for adventures, swimming and the likes. I do like a few drinks sometimes to just relax . I am a social, nice person with a good sense of humour and my other strength is I respect personal space and boundaries.
Hello. (: About me. My name is Jess, I'm 26 and am working in the Childcare industry. I'm currently employed part time but work 4-5 days almost every week. I'm very clean and respectful of other people's belongings. I can't stand mess and things not being where they're supposed to be, so I'm always tidying up. I'm looking for an unfurnished room as I have my own bedroom furniture but no house furniture. I'm looking for somewhere that will feel like a home and not just a room in a person's house. I have quite a fun personality. I'm bubbly and outgoing and quite social but I'm also respectful of people's privacy and don't live a loud lifestyle at home. In my spare time I enjoyreading books, binging Netflix, going to the movies, shopping and out for food. (: If you'd like to know anything else, feel free to ask. (: About Gizmo. Gizmo is a 16 month old black and white, short hair domestic cat. He is neutered, completely house trained and an indoor/out door cat. He is quite friendly with others and loves all humans. He gets along well with other pets once he gets to know them. A bit shy at first as most people/animals are. I don't drive so parking isn't a necessity. (: If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to ask. (: (If Gizmo is a no go, please shoot me a message just to know. Nothing is more disheartening than having your messages read without a response.)
I'm 23 year old guy, studying mechanical engineering and work in a bar. Easy going and very easy to get along with, enjoy socialising and having a good laugh, but also respect people's space. Enjoying having a beer and a BBQ on the weekend or just chilling and watching TV. Tidy, clean and always happy to help around the house.
I am a 27 yr old male from Sydney originally but looking to escape the madness. I am clean, respectful and easy to get along with. I am a self employed carpenter during the week, and on the weekend you'll probably find me at the beach or on the boat. Currently In between houses while my girlfriend and I search for more permanent accomodation. Hit me up!
A beautifully furnished room with huge built in wardrobe in the centrally located suburb of Maryville - 1 min from bike path to beaches, 5 mins from Maryville Tavern. We are a layed back professional couple (early 30's) with 2 cute and friendly French Bulldogs - dog door access to a backyard. We keep a well presented property and although have one full bathroom, there is a second washroom fitted within the outdoor space. Great outdoor deck area for relaxing, outdoor laundry facilities include washer and dryer and BBQ available for our new flatmate(s) to use whenever. Only looking to rent 1 of our 2 spare rooms. A young professional/ couple would be extremely suited.
I've been living in Newcastle for the past couple of months, my lease is up and now I'm looking for somewhere new to live! I'm looking for a place with a good location and some fun/sociable house-mates. Outside of work I try and stay active, (gym, skiing, bike riding). Otherwise, I don't mind the occasional beer/wine, I'm easy going, tidy and I'm an okay cook. If you think we'd be a good fit send me a message
I'm currently living on-campus at the university and am looking at moving off to somewhere quieter and more my own space. I'm currently in my second year of secondary teaching and i am also working casually averaging 4-5 shifts per week. My boyfriend Alex lives back home in Dubbo and is planning on moving to Newcastle to further his studies once he finds a job, so it would be just us 2! We are both super tidy people, love quiet nights in and always helping around the house. We both enjoy active lifestyles going to the gym & footy for Alex. We are looking for a peaceful home whether it be renting a room or whole property. Message me if you have any questions. Cheers!
Heyo I'm Anna, I currently work full time and have just started studying part time. In my spare time I enjoy keeping active, food and beer things and live music. I'm clean, tidy, respectable and enjoy socialising.
I'm very well share-house trained :^) I spend my time making coffee at Suspension, watching Netflix, planning my next adventure & gardening. I'm not a big drinker/party-er but on the occasion that I get the urge, I'm lots of bloody fun I promise. Vegetarian that doesn't mind being around carnivorous folk as long as the remnants of last night's animal isn't smeared all over the kitchen from the night before 8-) So on that note I should probably mention I'm very clean and tidy and like to decorate my living space with super cool bits and pieces until it is an actual fairytale sanctuary but I'll probably leave stuff lying around and get to it later coz as a human I sometimes feel lazy and just want to chill out and come back to the mess in a few hours, lol. I love animals so am keen to bond with any potential fury friends you may have and additionally I find it really easy to find common interests and get along with just about any (good) human I meet. Kind of like a chameleon (Gemini ;) I'm queer and need to live with other queers or some super cool open minded queer allies. That's why you should select me to b ur new roomie^^^^ :D
Super chill; I'm studying Ancient History and English teaching, nearly done. Value a good party, a good day at the beach, an adventure; but I also know how to watch a whole show in one sitting. On college my room got mistaken for one of the girls' rooms cos I actually make my bed. Childhood cleaning habits have stuck with me; thanks Mum x Interests include, but are not limited to: op shop stuff, sunsets, bike riding, beach, music, alcohol/partying, skating, hummus, Star Wars, adventures, Milo, rock climbing, the couch, sometimes running and memes. I am also working at a restaurant on Darby street. I am very laid back, friendly, and feel that I am easy to live with, never having had any issues with past housemates, and looking forward to new ones. Cheers, Oscar

I'm a newly graduate lawyer who enjoys watching other people's dog have a good time. I don't use plastic bags at coles, would prefer to ride my bike to work and even at 5 ft tall I am convinced I don't need anyone's help reaching the top shelf. I like small coffees and singing badly to Ed Sheeran I'm looking for a room from April until September (even just a few months somewhere in between) so if you're going on exchange or travelling in general and need someone to rent your room I'm your girl.

I wouldn’t get in your way at all, would just stick to myself but also very happy to chat 😋 I’m working full time and studying, so I won’t be home too much, I like going to the gym and keeping up my fitness. I enjoy going to the movies and the beach.
Hi, my names Meg, Im a pretty easy going person that likes to spend time with friends and family and going out every so often but also enjoy down time to myself to relax and study. I like going to the beach, watching bulk series in one setting and having a good laugh at myself.
I love to cook and have a fairly clean house . Happy to do some cookups with housemate's and friends , and can learn some songs to please as I enjoy playing cover's. I also restore furniture and I guess Id call myself a jack of all trade and master of none :) I thrive in a positive atmosphere and also have a lovely Kelpie cross Labrador . She is house trained but can sleep anywhere and happy to keep her outside if need be . I'm looking for a place with a bathtub if possible , I do get some backpain and I find relief from a bath better than painkillers.
Hi I’m Chels, I am currently Studying marketing full time online. I also have a part time retail job. I love binge watching tv shows like ‘Queer Eye’ all the way to ‘Mind Hunters’. Every now and then I go to local gigs and markets, so it would be cool if I had a housemate that would be keen to join. I like a good chat, but also like my own personal space after a big day.

I've been living out of home and on my own for the past 3 years, I have my own furniture and internet. I'm currently looking for someone who would be interested in moving in with me and sharing the rent! In my spare time I love going for ocean swims, doing yoga and meditations, having a drink, catching up with fam and friends, watering my plants.. napping... the list goes on. I'm super tidy and respectful and I love being able to come home to a clean, happy and calm environment
