Hey! I'm 28 years old and originally from Melbourne. I've been living in Newy for a little over a year now and love it! I have a lot of creative interests and hobbies, but generally speaking op-shopping, collecting/selling vintage clothes, surfing, listening to good tunes and thinking about/getting tattoos that I can't afford takes up most of my spare time. I work part-time and also sell vintage clothes online and at markets. I like to think that I am a creative, friendly and open minded person and I am looking to live with like minded individuals. Although I no longer work in the industry, I am a qualified chef by trade and these days I enjoy cooking for the household and friends and am no stranger to cleaning either :) Ideally I'd like a room in an inclusive household that I can call home, with people that I can call friends. I'd like to live with people that are community minded, open, friendly, easy going and perhaps live and think outside the box a little. My lease is ending soon so I am after a new place, but I am ready to lock something in as soon possible or at least line it up for down the track, whatever suits. If you think I sound like a good fit, or are thinking of trying to start a new share house send me a message, hope to hear from you, Sam :)
I’m a teacher from Austin, Texas taking a year off to travel and play Rugby. My travels are winding down so that I can play Rugby for the Hamilton Hawks in Newcastle. I love to cook and I’m easy to get along with. I’m happy to listen or tell you a story or keep to myself. Besides Rugby, I like painting models, reading, and going to live music.

The house is on a quiet street. It has a great front verandah and nice backyard, with existing vege plots if you want to garden. The house itself has great natural light and is airy. There is a separate lounge room, separate dining room and kitchen so you can shut doors between rooms if you have friends around. The bedroom is big. Ideally it would be best to share with just 2 of us and that way we have a spare room for friends/guests.
A beautiful room with huge built in wardrobe in the centrally located suburb of Maryville, the property has a large modern kitchen and large modern bathroom with bath. It is located - 1 min from bike path to beaches, 2 mins from Maryville Tavern and cafes such as Baked Uprising. I am a laid back professional male (early 30's) with 2 cute and friendly French Bulldogs - dog door access to a backyard. I keep a well presented property and it always remains clean and tidy. Although there is only one full bathroom, there is a second washroom fitted within the outdoor space. Great outdoor deck area for relaxing, outdoor laundry facilities include washer and dryer and BBQ available for my new flatmate to use whenever. Only looking to rent 1 of my 2 spare rooms. A young professional/ student would be extremely suited.
A real gem of a place in a tranquil street right on Throsby Creek. Ideal for an avid walker, kayaker or cyclist who likes a quiet home life but also enjoys having a vibrant social scene close at hand. You'll be sharing with 34yo homeowner (Ush) and her two lazy dogs plus one other super lovely housemate (Brett) amd his dog. All we need to complete the household is one more sociable, tidy and empathetic person with a wicked sense of humour. Will suit professionals in their 30’s/ 40’s with standard working hours. The available room is enourmous, fits a queen bed comfortably with room to spare and has a large built-in robe. No additonal cost to have it furnished with a queen bed and desk. The house has two lounges and a large deck in the back garden plus a front verandah which is lovely in the morning so there is a lot of space for everyone to find a quiet spot (but we may all end up in the kitchen having a chat over dinner). The bathroom is shared between two, you and Brett. The house itself is fully furnished so if you turn up with your clothes and a toothbrush, you'll be pretty much sorted. Available from July 1st when our current housemate leaves, but viewable with notice from June 4th. We will hold out for the perfect housemate even if your available date is a bit delayed. The 'property features': -Fully renovated with modern kitchen and bathroom and beautiful traditional paneling and fretwork features, hardwood floors and sash windows. -Spacious and bright shared bathroom for the two housemates. -An open plan kitchen- dining- living area, great for chats while cooking dinner. -Separate light-filled lounge room (the TV lives here) with garden access and the dogs sleep there at night. -Sunny outdoor areas, with covered deck and modest garden catching the afternoon sun, and small front yard with verandah, a perfect breakfast nook. - Internet: included in rent! (unlimited NBN) - Utilities: electricity, gas and water bills are split 3-ways. We have natural gas for heating and cooking. Bills work out around $80 a month with normal use (estimated based on 3-4 adults living here over the last 3 years) - We share the cleaning of the bathrooms and common areas and vacuum our own rooms and wash our own dishes promptly as we go to keep the place neat. -Non-smoking (inside or out- not negotiable) Location: Steps from the Throsby Creek bicycle path to town. Kayaks available at the house to use anytime. BYO bicycle. 3km to Honeysuckle eateries and bars. Quiet cul-de-sac street with on-street parking. Under 2km to Hunter TAFE and to Beaumont St.

Both moving from Darwin to Newcastle in mid June. Both working full time; Kirsten’s an Exercise Physiolgist and Steve’s an electrician. We are looking for a 2/3 bedroom house, preferably a garage and parking available. Please feel free to contact if you know of a home similar. Thank you 😊
I'm a chef, and studying nutrition part time. Clean and tidy housemate, pay rent/bills on time, respectful of other peoples space and privacy. Interests include cooking, fitness, waterskiing, binging on Netflix, and a few cheeky arvo beers. Looking for a place thats social, but also respects people needing their own space from time to time.
Available to move: early/mid July Hello there, we are a super chill couple recently moved back from Sydney (originally from Newcastle). We LOVE music, design, travelling, Star Wars, camping, video-games and keeping fit/healthy. Our living attributes include being very tidy, respectful and environmental. Andy (27) is a super nice and social guy. He is the type of traditional bloke who will pass you on the street and say 'G'day'. He hangs off the side of high-rise buildings like Spider man for a living - repairing, cleaning, installing, taking Snapchat selfies of the view etc. He is a bit of a dare devil - enjoys rock climbing, spearfishing and free-diving. He loves his Toyota Chaser and will insist on cooking you Portuguese chicken wraps. Mel (27) is darn sweet but very shy at first. She is a freelance graphic and textile designer who works from home. She loves her space during the week, but totally comes out of her shell on weekends. She also has THE best cat in the world - Mishka who has turned every cat hater in her path into a cat lover - seriously. Mel is a soccer and indoor plant fiend. We are looking for a place with at least 1 car space and is open to allowing a pet (Mishka - aka your new best furrend). Our ideal housemates would be super cool, cultured, love a drink, going to gigs and social events, good music (we love playing and collecting vinyl) and hopefully become our friends! Our ideal housemates are clean, sustainable and have an interest in recycling/minimising waste. Being tidy and respectable of property is a must. We would be very interested in starting a share house.
Hi, my name is Rhys, I am 36 years old and I've recently returned to Newcastle after living and working overseas and in Darwin for the last 5 years. I currently work full time 8-5, Mon-Fri in the environmental field. I'm a bit over the party scene but enjoy a few drinks occasionally. I like playing a bit of acoustic guitar and heading out to see the odd live gig. Also enjoy getting outdoors on hikes, to the beach and exploring around in and around Newcastle. I'm looking for easy going, friendly, clean and respectful housemates who are also a little bit social and just all round cool folk.
I have a lovely house full of furniture I can bring or store. I can cook. I am clean, tidy and keep to myself but am happy to have a chat and a glass of wine. Would prefer to live with people I consider friends and not just Flatmates.
Hey! I'm a 2nd year bachelor student of Law in University of Groningen (Netherlands) and coming to Australia for my exchange program abroad. I'm very neat, friendly and can cook some amazing Mediterranean food. I would really like to share a place close to University of Newcastle since I'll be attending there the 2nd semester. I'm very tidy so there won't be any problems with dirt or clutter. Also I don't mind if you have a pet (as long as it's not a spider or smth). Looking for the Joey(s) to my Chandler ^.^
Hello, my name is Kirra, I am 20 years old and I have just moved down to Newcastle from Townsville, NQ. I have lived on my own for 2 years now and I am very clean, look after myself, I like to stay very active and I am very easy going and social. I have a beautiful little cat named Bailey, she is very well behaved, makes little to no mess (only her hair) and is very good with other animals, especially dogs.
I'm working as an engineer in Newcastle from Monday to Friday but on weekends I'm generally horse riding, dancing, running or hanging out with friends. I'd like to live with other young working people who are fairly happy go lucky and keep a tidy house. I'm keen for coffee dates at the local café and wine and cheese nights, docos and cards when we feel like it.
Hi I’m Nick. I’m an electrician that works in the Newcastle area. Currently living south of the lake the commute is too long and so looking to move closer. I enjoy being social and going out but also enjoy reading and relaxing. I’m all round pretty easy going and funny and would like to find some similar people. I’m very clean and don’t really like clutter or dirty kitchens or bathrooms so I would be a good housemate in that way. Hope to hear from you. Thanks.
Non smoking, drinking any other sort, clean living connected to nature vegan. Play Sqaush, mountain biking, bushwalking. I'm honest, transparent, spiritual and have a love for life. No time for ego's and materialism, I'm all about love and acceptance.
I'm incredibly easygoing and enjoy a laugh and a coffee and a chat! I am tidy and clean up after myself straight away, especially in the kitchen (where I love to do cook ups!). I work in high schools and am also studying at UoN at Callaghan. I love being outside either exploring, swimming or walking at the beach, or out bushwalking with friends. I grew up in Sydney, but I only moved to this awesome city last year after living in north Queensland for many years. I don't smoke anymore and I am looking for a smoke free 😁
I grew up in Newcastle and now working full time at Rutherford as a flight instructor. I work full time with Wednesday and Thursdays as my days off. I'm very easy going and tidy, and generally like to check out new places popping up around Newcastle on my days off. I like to keep things clean and don't have a lot of stuff, as I try to get out most of the time on my days off. I don't smoke and enjoy the occasional drink, mostly craft beer but again that is usually outside of home. I like animals so don't mind if there are pets (prefer dogs). Any questions let me know.

This house is close to the center of town, while situated in the quiet streets of Carrington and is a great find! Hi, we're after someone to rent out the last remaining room in our 3-bedroom house in East Mayfield. The house living areas are furnished as per the photos. The kitchen has a fridge, cutlery, crockery etc. The remaining bedroom has an extra large built-in robe extending across the wall, block out curtains, blinds, ceiling fan, double bed and mattress (can be removed if you have your own furniture). The bathroom and kitchen are renovated, and there are large windows throughout and brand new reverse-cycle air conditioning. Unlimited NBN is included in the rent. The house is located on Maitland Road, with a bus stop right outside the door and a park across the road. It's a walk to supermarkets, shops, cafes and pubs. The CBD is 10 mins away, uni is even closer and the Mater Hospital is 3 mins away. The neighbours say hello and look out for each other and there's a partially grassed area out the back.
