Hi, I am a teacher looking to team up with another 30-40 yr old female in a new house. I don't really have a preferred location in mind, so I am open to options. It's more about 'who' rather than 'where' at this stage. I am an energetic person who enjoys yoga, meditation, reading and spending time with like minded people. Don't go out much anymore, I'd much rather dinner, a few quiet drinks and good conversation. I have some furniture, but I have recently given a heap away so I travel light! I am a clean and tidy person, who enjoys cooking for more people than just myself. I have the world's friendliest cat, who will demand little more than cuddles and scratches. I can move at any time, so if you're interested in teaming up, send a message!

Hi, We're a couple (25 and 30) with a well trained golden retriever, and our fur baby (cringe...sorry) must come with us. We're laid back and chill, but we also know how to clean and we are sociable but not loud. We're focused on doing well at work and uni and meeting some really cool people along the way. I'm from Newcastle, my husband is Mexican-American (California). He makes great tacos, enchiladas and nachos, and he's really into science (doing open foundation to get into diagnostic radiography) but used to work as a comedian (don't worry though, he's not annoying). I'm working part-time and thinking about finishing a grad dip in psychology. I love movies, laughing and anything creative...save subway artistry. We are looking for a room in a share house with an ensuite or a granny flat. If you feel like getting in touch, just give us a bell or send us an email : )
Location, location, location! Only minutes from the Tafe and the cycle path into the foreshore. A really cute cottage with great garden potential. One cat or small dog will be considered. Secure front and back garden. Strictly smoke outside only. The house is fully furnished though the huge bedroom is unfurnished. Can easily fit a QS bed plus a desk or lounge.
I have a full time job in bar work. I am reliable and dependable. I can provide references as I have lived in a previous share house. My fourteen month old Kelpie is a beautiful and loving dog who will practically claim anyone after an hour of knowing them. I am a confident, easy going and bubbly girl. I also have my own car so I am able to transport myself from place to place. I'm always keen for new experiences and love meeting new people. I completely understand the importance of living in a tidy environment, however also understand how unacceptable intrusive behaviour is. Available to move in immediately.
Beautifully presented 3 bedroom townhouse in a prime location. All three bedrooms have built-ins and ceiling fans. The kitchen is neat and tidy. There is an internal laundry, a 3rd toilet, main bathroom with separate bath and shower (would be your own private bathroom) single garage and private rear yard, comes complete with a park and water views from both lounge room and upstairs bedrooms.
24 y.o. female, full time worker. I have a cat that will be coming with me- she's an indoor/outdoor and generally friendly. I enjoy being social, but also like my personal space, and am respectful of others needs. Always keep my spaces clean. I enjoy a glass of wine at the end of the day and love baking.
Hey! I'm Renae, I'm 21 going on 22 and I'm a part time student studying Natural History Illustration. Outside of University I work part time across 2 jobs in Graphic Design and Hospitality. I enjoy live music, community engagement and the arts. Idealistically I'd love to live in a place where I have enough space for my queen bed, a desk, and my art nook - and ultimately find a nice group of people to hang out with as well. I am very clean, and conscious when living with other people of their work/study/sleep schedules so I try not to get in anyone's way or be too loud in the evenings and mornings. I'm conscious of living sustainably, so I'm not going to put recyclable objects in the garbage bin - likewise, I have a plant based diet so I don't eat meat if that is something worth mentioning. - I should probably also mention that I like baking, so expect to get lots of pies, scones and muffins.
I'm a 23 year old male from Sydney. I like to keep busy, and whilst not studying/working, I enjoy going to the gym, going to live music, having a beer and going to the beach.
I am full-time working electrician, clean, social, non smoker. I am very laidback and get on with most people. I can equally enjoy hanging out or keeping to myself. I have a staffy who is an inside/ outside dog. I am an active person and love getting outside and exercising most days.
Full-time student studying psychology and working part-time. Looking for a place around town or closer to the university. Easy going and laid back, interested, in sports, going to the gym, cooking, going out, and making friends.
Casual worker/PhD student. Pretty easy to get along with, don't drink or smoke, but not a teetotaller. Enjoy having a quiet coffee, reading a book or checking out something on Netflix.
My flat is on top of the landlords business and is a 3 minute drive from Newcastle town. Lounge, dining and kitchen are combined in an open plan with doors that open onto a balcony. Foxtel is in the lounge room, there is air-conditioning. The bedroom is a medium size and will easily fit a double bed with room for a desk. The wardrobe is on the small side so you may need extra storage for clothes if you have a lot! I am really looking for someone who is clean/ cleans up after themselves, as i had issues with my previous roommate regarding this. I expect you to respect my furniture and any of my belongings in the shared areas.
Our quaint home is located in a quiet street in Maryville, and has a lovely green backyard with beautiful big trees. The house is old but makes up for that with charm and character. The house has a clean, environmentally conscious, no television, fun, spacious, respectful, communal, peaceful, life loving kind of feel about it at present and we are keen to keep that flowing.
So I'm 2nd year student at UoN and I also work 2 jobs. I'm pretty chilled, easy to get on with and happy to socialise (drinks optional) but will sometimes keep to myself. Always down to meet new people (and said people's pets if they own them aha). Not a clean freak but I do my part to make sure things a neat and reasonably tidy. I respect others space and privacy and would ask the same in return. Hoping to find some cool housemates and aim to move in December after I get back from Melbourne (11th). (Puppies not included sadly)
Heya, I'm a full-time working dad (Monday-Friday for the government) to a quiet and polite 9 year old gal. My daughter is with me 6 nights a fortnight so I'm essentially looking for two rooms, open to all options but a team-up would be cool (obviously in a 3 bedroom house you would be paying less but only sharing with 1.5 humans :)) - I already have wifi which is movable. I have two cats too who are quite friendly and are litter trained. Other than that I'm pretty chill, like a wine, the beach (am there a lot in summer), reading, and binge watching the odd tv series. I eat fairly healthy and don't mind what kind of diets people have. Only my room and car are messy - so you wouldn't be living with a slob :) I do smoke casually but always outside and it's pretty irregular.
I am a first year graduate civil engineer (working full time), relocating to Newcastle for 6 months in December. I am originally from the Gold Coast, but have been living in Brisbane for the last 6 years. I am a tidy and quiet housemate who is keen to relax and join in on any weekend trips and adventures. I have lived an awesome share house for the past 4 years and am hoping to find another one to move into!
We've got a decent size room with a ceiling fan, ensuite and dimmer lights (bow chicka wow wow) in a renovated and awesome place in an even better suburb. It's available at the start of January. It has floorboards throughout and has an old feel but is very modern. Our backyard is perfect for friends over for either drinks/ dinner/ whatever you would like! The room has it's own ensuite with a double shower head. You are only sharing with two other legends in their 20's. We would like another to fit in with us. It is a perfect place to call home. If you have any questions or want to have a look, let me know and you're more than welcome!
Our house is situated in Maryville a super cute and quiet area minutes walk away from Beaumont street. The room available is a spacious size with an ensuite. You will be sharing with two other females 21 and 22. The house is quite large and has a decent size backyard with a deck which is a ripper for entertaining the boys. The house also has ceiling fans and air conditioning. We are very close the Maryville tav which a nice spot for some trivia and a beer. We have the house furnished so will only need to bring what you need for you room, although if there is anything else you want to use we are open to changing up things and there will be plenty of space out on the deck or in the lounge room for other items you may bring.
I am a 32 year old working professional looking for a roommate to rent the 2nd bedroom of my town house in mayfield east. Looking for someone clean & tidy. The bedroom is large with double built in wardrobes, has a private balcony and own bathroom. This townhouse is only 3 years old and is fully furnished with a queen bed, chest of draws and 2 bedside tables provided. utilities are split, or can be added to the weekly rent. On street parking only. Will update photos of room furnished shortly. Unfortunately due to strata, no pets are allowed. Please message me if you are interest in viewing.
Room in a three stroy town house in "lego-land" on Throsby Creek in Maryville. We are not a party house but enjoy the occasional glass of wine and chat around the kitchen/loungeroom. We respect each others space and work together to keep the house running smoothly. Looking for female to rent in Wickham. Three story town house dwelling with your room on the top level. Sharing with two others. Big room with plenty of storage and cupboard space. Own balcony. Very central to Honeysuckle and CBD. House situated on one of the best bike tracks in Newcastle. It's a sweet location: close to the water, walking paths and minutes from the beach/town. We have the NBN connected and pretty much everything set up in the house. The room is unfurnished but I have a spare double bed if you needed it. You would share the main bathroom with one other. I believe you need to feel comfortable and relaxed in a house so if you think you can keep that going here let me know!
Hi, my name is Mark (32), a recent homeowner and setting up a new sharehouse in Wickham. I have 1 large upstairs bedroom available with a walk in wardrobe, private en suite and wrap around private balcony. The single lock up garage is also available to you. I also have a single room which is big enough for a queen bed to complete the make up of the house. Sorry no pics of this room yet but just think, simple double room with built in wardrobe. Downstairs is a large living area and full kitchen with new appliances that flows to a nice courtyard out the back. The place is freshly painted with new carpet, split system aircon, and fast NBN internet and Stan included in the rent. I've just moved in myself so it will take a little time to make it feel like home with a few more furnishings required. I love the location most of all. 30m from Throsby Creek and easy access into the CBD, Honeysuckle, city beaches via the bike bath, Beaumont street or towards the Fernleigh track. I'm seeking two friendly working people to call my place home. Both full-time professionals would be ideal who like to socialise when we are home together and who respect each others privacy. (no smokers)
3 large bedrooms each with an en-suite bathroom plus an additional bathroom downstairs. All common areas (kitchen, lounge, living) are furnished. Very modern units that make the most of open spaces and natural lighting. Outdoor BBQ, fans, remote operated lighting. Mayfield - Worth visiting.
Working full time as a barista/waitress. Relatively quiet, but do enjoy a night out. Have a dog, Kara, who's very friendly once she knows you and a good guard dog. Enjoy yoga, reading, hiking, good food and going out.
Hi, I am looking for an unfurnished room, preferably either near the Uni or the beach and town. I am 23 and looking for housemates in their early twenties. I am a very clean and tidy housemate. I respect others belongings and space, and always clean up after myself. I'm very friendly, and have been living in Newcastle for the past 8 months. I am studying architecture, and work in hospitality, and am originally from the Blue Mountains. I love to explore the Newcastle area, and enjoy socializing. I have been living in a share house, but my landlord want access to the house over the summer, so am looking for a new place. Thanks :)
Hi, My names Mel, I love the outdoors, keeping busy and socialising. I hope to live with a good group of people who you can chat and socialise with as well as respect eachothers space and tidy up yourself.
Pretty easy going, have a fair amount of furniture if you want to team up, pretty flexible, will be a student i.e. not to noisy, don't mind conversing of a drinks.
I am a 25 year old girl, and I work full time as a house keeper. I am currently living on a boat and I am looking for a place on land! I am clean, easy going and very well traveled. Originally from England, I have lived abroad for over 7 years, 6 years here in Australia and one year in Papua New Guinea. I have been in Newcastle for roughly a year and I am looking to stay! I have a cat, who is very well trained, super friendly and nearly as well traveled as myself. I like to take it easy on my days off and indulge in my hobbies, which are embroidery and needle lace. Not really a party animal but I do enjoy a drink or two in the evening :)
I'm an active hard working individually who likes to paint and go to the beach when I have free time. I'm 20 but have lived out of home for 2 years. Happy to move into an already existing house share or to look for a place with other people.
I'm friendly and easy going, very clean and tidy, looking for somewhere to stay after I sell my house. I am moving into a unit in November 2017, so will need somewhere from about January to November 2017. I have a dog (10 years).
I'm an easy going person looking for a relaxed and social atmosphere. I work full time and play oztag and waterpolo so I won't be in your hair all the time. I keep communal areas clean and respect housemates boundaries. I enjoy getting outdoors and having a drink on the weekend.
Hi I'm pretty easy going, enjoy being social and also enjoy my own space. I'm tidy in shared areas and respect other peoples' space too. I love being active and enjoying the beach, walks, kayaking, snowboarding, painting, photography. I currently work as a training manager and will soon be embarking on full time art study for a year and will be working part time when that happens as part of a career break (I get my normal job back after the year). I'm really excited about this new opportunity. Looking for a friendly, chilled out, tidy home with lovely flatmates. Preferably in Newcastle CBD but not essential for the right home as long as transport is near by and easy :) Will need parking (street parking is ok). I also have a 2m kayak I'd like to be able to store if possible (it fits in a normal garage just fine on it's side). I have a house full of furniture, whitegoods, BBQ, kitchenware etc if anything is needed. I can store these elsewhere too, no issues. I don't have any pets, but am totally ok if you do. Cheers :)
Hey there, Apologies for the zoomed in view of my face. Not an ideal first meeting... I'm just about to graduate in Melbourne as a Criminology/Sociology graduate and am looking for a new place to live for my next challenge of a Masters of Teaching. Originally from the UK and just love the Australian lifestyle. A busy body between friends, work, uni and sport but like to chill when I'm home.. and attempt to cook! Looking for a place that is clean (a self confessed clean freak) and for housemates that are considerate and friendly. Not much more to say. Think I'd be pretty easy to live with!
