I am a young professional, a non-smoker and a clean individual who enjoys socialising but also enjoys some privacy. When I am not working, i enjoying going for my dance classes, the beach and karaoke :)
Chilled out. Well travelled and educated. Considerate of others and often up for a laugh/chat. Like to be friendly at home but not obligated hang out. Tidy- prefer not to live with clutter. Love to live with house-proud individuals who value nature, conservation and expanding their horizons!
I'm that perfect mixture between quiet and social, you'll get your alone time but also a nice chat and someone to drink with if that's what you want. I'm clean and respectful and a strong believer in taco tuesdays (vego tacos) what more could you want than that I'm looking to live with open minded people who are also clean (i'm not a neat freak its just nice having a clean space ) and aren't afraid to have a goof
Hi I’m Matilda, I’m 25 and from Newcastle. I’m about to start to full time work as a Registered Nurse so looking for a place with people who may also work shift work or full time workers themselves. I have a pet rabbit named Wilbur and I like to drink wine.
Hey guys, I'll be looking for a place near Stockton from around the 9th of February. I'm a pretty chilled guy who likes to socialise but will also give people their space. I'm a shift worker so I will keep some weird hours and may need to sleep through the day sometimes. I'm a bit flexible on my budget, but would prefer less (obviously). I've lived in Queensland up until now, so I'll be keen to meet some new people. If you want to know more about me or have a room you think might be suitable, hit me up.
I’m from the Byron Bay area, and am looking to move to Newcastle, as I am about to start my second degree, studying medicine. Currently, I work in marketing for a beekeeping company. I love getting outdoors to bushwalk, surf or rock climb on my days off, though also thoroughly enjoy just cosying-up at home with a good book, gardening, cooking, crafting (avid knitter), or just hanging out. I am looking for a (reasonably) quiet, clean home, with likeminded housemates who are respectful, open-minded, considerate and caring (like me!), and are up for a chat, and an occasional shared meal (and who also appreciate space and solo time).
Hey, my name’s Rach and I’m looking for a friendly household to move into with my best mate Lupin. Lupin is a four year old chocolate Labrador who’s really well behaved, yet still a puppy at heart. He has a sassy side-eye that I can cop sometimes, otherwise he’s an absolute delight. I’m studying teaching full-time at UoN and I work part-time. I love to cook, I’m pretty active, I’m clean and tidy and I definitely do my fair share of cleaning in the house. I’m looking to move into a house that’s pretty relaxed with housemates that are friendly, love dogs and don’t mind a bevvie and a chat as well as having their own space!
I recently graduated from UoN with a master of teaching. I'm part of a small community circus and love the outdoors. I'm a clean and tidy housemate. I tend to go with the flow so if you're a social butterfly or prefer to be on your own rest assure I can fit into either vibe.
Neat, respectful and easy going. Happy to keep to myself and/or be social with others. I enjoy cooking and don’t mind doing the dishes! I am relatively quiet and enjoy my own company, so there’s no risk of any wild parties or anything of the sort happening. I do however like to chat to people and love having good people that I get along with around me if having me be a bit more of a social butterfly is preferred. I’m pretty chilled either way :) I do smoke, but no more than maybe five or less in any one day and would always do so outside in a well ventilated area, I also have a good habit of disposing of cigarette butts appropriately and promptly once finished. I am currently, and have been for the last seven years, working as an AIN, and often am working on a rotating roster, so shift work is inevitable. I am happy to move out of where I am now and into a new place ASAP! :) look forward to hopefully meeting nice people and living in a comfortable, relaxed and cosy feeling home Kindest regards, B.
Hey, I'm Rachel and I have been renting in shared houses for almost 2 years now. I'm a full time Nursing Student and I also work a casual job at a gym. I enjoy doing things like being active outdoors and exploring, going to the gym, cooking, staying inside and relaxing and going out for drinks/food. I'm tidy, respectful of others and enjoy socialising but also like my me-time. I would like to share a place with people I can become good friends with and not just brush shoulders with in the hallway. I'm looking for a maximum of 3 other like-minded roommates that would be keen to find a place with me or kindly offer me a room in their humble abode. :)
Hi! I'm Aaron, a 29 year old Engineer relocating from Melbourne for a new job in the Newcastle region. I'm an easy going kind of guy, I've lived harmoniously in house shares for almost 10 years now. I like playing sport, gaming and noodling on my guitar. My ideal share would be a tidy house with other full time workers or students. Happy for a social house over the weekend but would prefer it pretty quiet during the week. Love animals and have no problem with non human housemates.
Super easy going gal who loves to have a laugh and share memes. I work full time through the day and teach pole dancing a few nights a week. Respectful of people’s space and love to have a wine + cheese over a movie some night :)
Hi there! My name is Charlie. I am a 21 year old teaching student working part time in hospitality. My best friend Josie (21) is a communications student who also works part time. We are best friends originally from the country looking for a house to rent late January/early Feb*** We are quite reserved people, both in relationships, who really enjoy music, film and art. Looking for a place around the Islington/Maryville/Carrington area as I primarily ride my bike and want somewhere close to uni, work and the shops! ***I am currently living in Carrington, and need to reapply for my house. We are looking for someone to apply with us ASAP - but also to apply for other houses with us as back up. (Also interested in team ups, or finding the right person to move in with hehe)
Hi there, I am a 3rd year Medical student at UON, who likes motorbike riding, skateboarding, and reading in my downtime. I’m the kind of housemate who will take your clothes off the line if it starts raining, and will share a beer when I can see you’ve had a rough day. I enjoy socialising, and and am pretty friendly all round :) I work at the hospital and have a steady income. The motorbike makes off-street parking is pretty important in my search for a home. Ideally sharing with 1-3 other people would suit me well, and I’m open to other locations– but preferably am looking for somewhere nice and neat in the downtown/Merewether/Hamilton greater area. If you have a room and think we'd get along, shoot me a message and we can meet or talk meet in person! Cheers, Alex
Hi I'm Miriam, I'm 22 years old and I'm an international student from Germany. I will start studying at UON in february as an exchange student. I'd really love to live in a friendly, easy-going, welcoming house. I'm always down for a chat/movie night/drink but I also enjoy my own space and spending time alone. I'm really clean when it comes to tidying up as well as making an effort in the house to keep everything nice and clean for others and respect people's space. Let me know if there is anything else that you’d like to know! I look forward to hearing from you 😊
I’m easy to get along with and to talk to, I’ll be studying at uon in a degree of communications. I’ll also be working casually on top of my study. I’d love to live with a welcoming group of people who are both social and like to chill on their own. I love to cook (I’ll be nice and share😉) , write and read.
Own my own business and study. Work 6 days per week, long hours. Am very clean, respectful of those around me, very friendly and always up for a chat however, would not be home often other then to shower, have dinner and be on my laptop/sleep.
Hello, I work full time for the government and have just recently moved to Newcastle. I'm easy going and have lived with boys and girls before. I enjoy chatting to my house mates but also respect individual's privacy. I want a place with my own bathroom and car spot and would prefer to live with one maybe two other people.
Clean and polite professional working full-time. I work away from time to time, enjoy to cook and am pretty easy going. I live an active lifestyle, play sport during winter and enjoy cooking and a social beer.
Im a Dutch student coming to Newcastle for my internship, from 14 February to half June/begin July. I like to meet new people and learn from them, but I'm also a person who needs her own space. This I do by going running and by it explore the city :).
Hey, I'm a 29 YO professional that's been working for about 8 years but am pursuing some postgrad study full-time at UON this year. I'm quiet, tidy and easy going, love to cook, happy to share a meal and a drink I'm moving up from Sydney for the year so looking for a room and somewhere to study etc. for 6-12 months depending on availability. I've got a partner in Sydney (she's staying down there for study) so I will probably be away most weekends. Preference is to move in around mid-Feb but happy to move earlier for the right place
I am clean and quiet. Looking for a place where it isn’t a party house. I am also looking for a place that is furnished (mainly just need a bed) as I am not from here and have no belongings besides my clothes.
Hey im trevor, Bit about myself - very active love to get outdoors, i enjoy most sports and love rugby league, im very social and enjoy company though i do respect privacy. Im looking for a place that is a home not just a room to rent. I work fulltime at audi newcastle 8-5 monday to friday so living in town would be ideal for me. I currently live in toronto so i want to get closer to work and start to enjoy the newcastle lifestyle more. I enjoy cooking aswell and health and fitness is important to me. I also enjoy a beer or 2 so if you enjoy that then we will get along fine and i do enjoy a night out. Im a very tidy person without being overthe top. I'm a 22 year old male currently living in Sydney's North Shore, I'm a bartender/barista at a fine dining restaurant and I'll be looking to do the same up in Newcastle. I study Industrial Design in Newcastle and want to move up to complete my final year. In my spare time I'm usually trying to do something creative, but when I'm not I like to read, go out for coffee or drinks, see live music or just chill out at the beach. I'm looking for a decent house and flatmates with a nice vibe and lifestyle.
The house itself is pretty modern and has been recently renovated, so everything is fairly new. All of the common areas are furnished and we have timber floors throughout most of the house and air conditioning in the lounge room. The bedrooms are quite spacious with high ceilings, ceiling fans and fairly thick blinds. We have a decent sized backyard with small patch of grass and relatively small gardens so maintenance is minimal, though we have a few pot plants to add some colour. Unfortunately though, we aren't allowed pets. We are nestled in a quiet corner of Mayfield, close to the city and the local shops. We don't have a driveway or garage, but there is plenty of on-street parking. Please feel free to message me if you have any questions.
Our Carrington cottage has a room available which is perfect for the student or busy worker. As an added bonus, we have really easy going private landlords who help us out around the place, doing any repairs we may need and they mow our lawns. Room is not furnished and a little smaller but think about the money you’ll save each week! I currently fit a queen bed, bedside table, clothes rack and dresser. Room also includes separate study nook overlooking the trees and park. About the house: Quirky, free standing house, fully furnished with plenty of room in the house, courtyard and newly grassed area with barbecue for summer and a shed at the back if you have more furniture! 5 minutes walk to Carrington cafes and pubs, 15 minute drive/20 minute cycle to the beach. Unfortunately no pets. Bills are separate, and split equally. Room may be available earlier if we are accepted for a place sooner.
Are you in your mid twenties/early thirties and looking for a homely share house in “Carrodise”? Well you’re in luck- there are two rooms available in this fabulous house! The House: Doesn’t look like much from the outside, but is super roomy on the inside. Open plan kitchen/living/dining area (with aircon), laundry, spacious deck out the back, garage and one large bathroom. Upstairs has two bedrooms and another smaller living area so we aren’t short on space! The Rooms: Room 1 (AVAILABLE NOW) is upstairs and $155/wk. It’s medium sized and can fit a queen bed, a desk and a set of shelves. At the back of the room you have a little walk in wardrobe - plenty of storage! Room 2 is $165/wk, downstairs and the biggest bedroom with loads of built in storage space. Easily fits a Queen or even a King bed! Both rooms will come unfurnished. The Logistics: - Rent is paid fortnightly (excluding bills). - Internet ($20 each) and electricity paid monthly, water paid quarterly. - You’ll need to provide a bond (4 weeks rent) plus 2 weeks rent in advance. - You will need to be willing to sign a lease. - Pets are allowed pending approval by our Real Estate. A very sweet Cocker Spaniel used to live in the house. I love dogs and cats so would happily welcome either!
I'm moving from Melbourne to Newcastle and looking for a place to stay! I have been in share houses for the past 5 years, I am easy going and like to keep common areas clean. I work full time as an engineer and will be spending my weekends exploring Newcastle and NSW. Looking for housemates that are happy to hang out around the kitchen on a weeknight but also respect each others space. I am currently looking for two available bedrooms - one for myself and one for my friend who I would like to move in with. She is also an engineer moving to Newcastle.
Hi! I'm Indiana, 20 years old and about to begin a teaching degree at the University of Newcastle (Callaghan campus) mid year. I'll be packing up, leaving my full time office job and moving from my hometown in the Northern Rivers in mid to late May or first week of June. I am a respectful and tidy person to live with, quiet and low key but enjoy good conversations and the occasional wine. I've been raised to always clean up after myself and to contribute to housework, which is what I'm looking for in potential housemates as well :)
Aaaaalllrrighty then! Hi guys i am a genuinly happy good person. I have a relaxed approach. I am friendly, polite, respectful and honest! I am genuinly fun to have around! (Hard to believe!? I know right! 😉😁) Lol It's more than once that i've been told i am funny. I am handy to have around too because i like fixing stuff. I work full time as a traffic controller atm after being in construction all my life. I have a couple of awesome children that i adore however i don't get to see them all that often. I am a bit of a sports nut and when the weather is great i like to get out and about. I don't mind sharing ammenities and i am very clean amd hygenic. My main concern would be finding a suitable, naturally lit room away from common areas that breathes. Kind regards and thank for reading! 🤗🙂
