Aidan and I are both young adults looking to move out of home. Both of us are tidy and able to cook and clean. I have a part-time job in Tuggeranong. We have our own personal furniture (bed, bookcase, set of draws etc.) but can pitch in to buy things such as cooking utensils and other furniture if need be. In our spare time we (mostly Aidan) play video/computer games, read, and other quiet things. We are also interested in camping, indoor rock climbing, and hiking etc. We are looking to move out around the beginning of March, or possibly sooner, depending on how things turn out.
Hi my names Jye :) i'm an 18 year old from Griffith NSW! i'm a full time concreter and play footy, so i will be out of the house a lot! i'm very relaxed and enjoy having a laugh Can't wait to hear from you!
I have recently accepted an offer to work full-time for the Department of Veterans' Affairs as an ICT Graduate. I have just moved from Brisbane to Canberra, and am looking for accommodation. I would preferably like to move into a place as soon as possible. I am twenty one years of age, and have recently completed my undergraduate Bachelor of Information Technology, with a major in Software Development, from Griffith University. I am an easy-going, considerate and sociable person, and am a strong believer in cleanliness. I have a passion for travelling and enjoy playing computer games in my free time.
I am currently working as a Security Technician Apprentice in Canberra, and am looking for a share house in the southern suburbs. I leave for work early in the mornings and would be gone for most of the weekdays. I am friendly and would enjoy the occasional meal/conversation with housemates, but also like to spend time to myself. I enjoy gaming as well as outdoor adventure activities in my spare time. I am house trained and capable of cleaning up after myself. I would prefer a furnished room, with one or more housemates. I do not currently have a car, meaning a bus stop near by or within walking distance of shops would be convenient. Please contact me if you are interested or if you think you have something that would be suitable :^)
Easy going, neat & tidy. Happy to socialise but also respect people's privacy and personal space. Recently moved back to Canberra after living in Sydney for 3 years. I have previously lived by myself and also with a roommate.
Recently moved in from the UK, love to travel, usually keep myself to my own room but always down for socialising and doing fun activities. I am a 22 year old who works full-time in the health field. I am clean and tidy as well as respectful for communal spaces. I am reliable and happy to pull my weight in relation to household chores. I am quite sociable and happy to have a glass of wine and a chat after work. I am also respectful of personal space. I am looking for a short-term lease (up to six months) at this stage and would prefer a room with my own bathroom/ensuite. I would prefer close to The Canberra Hospital but happy to consider rooms on the northside. I have no pets myself but I am an animal lover so it wouldn't bother me if the household had pets.

I have just moved back home to Canberra after a jaunt in Sydney and looking for a great house and housemate(s) to move in with! I am quite social, and enjoy having a drink and chat over dinner at the end of a long day. Having said that I also do like to have quite time, and am just as content to hideaway with a book or my new favourite tv show. I am clean, tidy and respectful of common areas. Love to try and cook, with varying amounts of success. Looking for flatmates with similar outlooks and interests! Moving date is flexible as currently living with family, but for my sanity the soon the better! :-)

But since a contract is a contract I can't guarantee I will be staying for at least 1 year but minimum 6 months is fine with me. But I hope you understand how this IT contracts work in Canberra. I am vegetarian, non-drinker, non-smoker. I would prefer a covered car park? I am yet to start gymming and swimming, but am into adventure and used to do snorkelling and scuba diving in Melbourne. It's 3 bedroom house less than a 5 minute drive to the Hyperdome (10 minutes by bike). (prices and move in dates are negotiable) There's a bus stop right next to the house and there's also an IGA and Gym that's just a 5 minute walk away. All rooms can easily fit a queen sized bed in it and a small desk if you wanted, otherwise there' and open study available. Common areas are fully furnished, but there's still plenty of room for additional stuff. Eg a second couch for lazy days. There's also plenty of space at the back of the garage if you have more stuff. There's an air conditioner in the living room to keep you cool in summer. And a dishwasher for if you ever get too lazy to wash them yourself. I like to keep the house tidy and would prefer a rotating cleaning roster of the house every two weeks or so.

In terms of my hobbies, I really enjoy playing sports, games, and getting outdoors to hike and bike.

Hi there! I am a 22 year old female, I work full time at the Canberra Hospital. I am very easy going and love a good yarn and a few glasses of wine, but also love my own time just watching Netflix in peace. I do have a retired show dog called Mouse, she is a toy breed so pretty small, she is house trained and loves sunbaking and sleeping, she also pretty much attached to me so there is no option to leave her behind. I am a smoker but NEVER in the house and always clean up after myself. My living situation at the moment is less than ideal, I commute from Murrumbateman to Woden everyday and the time and petrol is just getting the better of me. So that's it! please don't hesitate to message me! G x

Hi everybody, we are looking for like-minded housemates for (ideally) a minimum of 6 months with a stable working rhythm. The house has great character, with many stain glass windows, a lot of art work around and a wide open kitchen/dining area with a wonderful open pantry to share. There is a communal table and a big living area with electric fireplace - it feels very cozy. There is a pretty good view over the garden looking at Mount Taylor Nature Reserve. It is a beautiful neighbourhood and it’s only a 5 minute walk to the Nature Reserve. Kambah Village shops (Woolworths, Post Office, Bakery, Pizza, Bottle Shop, Medical Practice, etc.) are a 15 minute walk (2 min by car), Hyperdome Shopping Centre is 8 min by car and it's just around 25 minute drive to the city/ANU. Buses every 15 minutes. The room available is $140 per week plus bills (around $20/week). A 4 week's rent Bond (Access Canberra) and 2 weeks rent in advance will need to be paid (negotiable). The room will be available on February 10th. *Couples welcome
I am a quiet girl, so I don't really socialise much. I catch a bus to and from work at the moment so I don't need a car space just yet. I work 5 days a week usually till around 4:30-5 so i wont be home much during the day. Looking to make a few friends around my age as well so I can go out more and be more social. I currently live in queanbeyan but have to find somewhere else to stay.
Masters student at ANU (International Relations), looking for accommodation for at least 6 months but could be more as it depends on when my wife and son arrive in Canberra later in the year. I will then look to move out at that point. Happy to live with a wide range of people of all ages and backgrounds but I'll probably spend most of my time either in my room or out of the house at uni given my studies. I'll most likely come out of hibernation on the weekends and to try and get to the gym or somewhere with fresh air every couple of days. I understand there are hiking trails near ANU? I've been known to get excitable and shout (various things) at the TV when the All Blacks are playing. However, this year I will do my best to maintain decorum. The suburbs that I've listed are just a representative sample. I don't actually mind living in most places in Canberra as I understand it isn't all that far from anywhere else in Canberra.
