Hi! My name is Mandira, I'm a psychology student at the Australian National University. Looking for a roommate to move in with from February onwards. Probably somewhere near The ANU Campus. Please contact me if anyone's interested. :)
Great location - 5 minutes to the Turner shops, ~10-15 minutes to Lonsdale St (less if you cycle!) and and a few more to Civic/ANU. Spacious ground floor two bedroom apartment with a large outdoor area (great for bbqs in summer) and reverse cycle air conditioning. It has two nearly-identical bathrooms, separate laundry and a large open-plan living/dining area. It's a good sized room (approx 3.3m x 2.7m) which comfortably fits a queen bed, gets plenty of natural light and comes with built-in wardrobe. The apartment is fully furnished with the exception of your bedroom. As with most rental properties in Canberra, electricity and internet aren't included, but you're welcome to use my netflix account :)
I have lived in Canberra for a year. I am from Lebanon but lived all my life in the Emirates. I am studying Biotechnology at ANU. In my free time I love going out with my friends to the movies and I am obsessed with watching TV Shows.
I'm a 24 year old male International student, enrolled at ANU for masters. I am looking for a new place to live in North Canberra. I am quite chilled out and easy going, i like to go out on the weekends, would not mind a glass of wine and beer with my house mates, i follow sports, music, gaming, i love pets as well though i do not have one here. I like cooking also, a vegetarian so would prefer vegan/vegetarian housemates so we can share some good meals! :)
I'm Katie! I'm moving to Canberra for postgrad study after a very exciting gap year abroad. I'm looking forward to starting a new life in Canberra and meeting lots of new people. I did my whole undergrad in Brisbane and I'm ready for a change! Ideally my housemates would be interesting, friendly, open and sociable. Of course I value clenliness and respect too but that sort of goes without saying :D I like to have a good relationship with my housemates and would much prefer open doors and friendship to quiet, formal interactions. Please let me know if you have any rooms available :D
I'm a part-time worker (who does full time hours) and a full time student at ANU. I'm as busy as I am easy going - so while I may not always be around, I can be sociable and get along with just about anyone. I enjoy cooking and baking. Don't worry I always cleanup after - and share too! I also enjoy a good Netflix binge, game sesh and reading to unwind. I come fully house trained and with a PS4.

I'm a young, friendly and tidy professional who works full time, exercises regularly and has a steady social life. Pretty standard. Ideally, I'm looking to share with 1 or 2 others who are similar.
A private single bedroom in a pretty spacious apartment is available from 3rd DEC 2016 . The room is well furnished with a single bed, 2 wardrobes, and an amazing window on the roof, which guarantees the light during the day. Could also be a star- watching tool if you are feeling like being romantic. There is an extra built- in little storage room for your luggages, that way it won't take any space in the bedroom. The room is on the second floor of the apartment with one bathroom, which you would share with only one more flatmate. The ground floor is the living room with a lot of space for you to socialise and a kitchen to cook in. A washing machine and a dryer are available. The kitchen is clean with a dishwashing machine, that way you could spare your hands and save time. The apartment locates in a rather good place. The community's safe and quiet. You walk out of the apartment, turn right, walk onto Northbourn Ave and go straight without a single one turn for about 15 to 20 minutes and you are on campus. O'connor shops in 4min walking distance. If you are not feeling like walking, there are also multiple buses for you. Feel free to drop me a message if you are interested in this !
Hi, My name is Anthony. I am staring a new job in Canberra around the end of Oct/ start of Nov. I am moving from Darwin and I'll be new to Canberra. I'm more looking at teaming up with people as I have a reasonable amount of furniture. A little about me; I'm pretty chilled and layed back. I love to go out and have a good time but also have quiet weekends every now and then binge watching tv shows and relaxing. Love to cook and have people over for gatherings/bbqs. I'm a pretty neat and tidy person. I've previously lived with roomates so I know how to respect peoples space. I would like house mates who like to be social every now and then. I'm open to most areas of Canberra If its relatively close to the CBD.
I'm an undergraduate Education student from Brisbane. I'll be in Canberra for 3 months over the summer on an internship. I've been share housing for 3 years in a range of places - from the very large (7 people - was quite the experience) to smaller arrangements. I'm friendly, easygoing and open to social or quiet share houses. I always clean up after myself, respect common areas and my housemate's privacy. I enjoy cooking, sightseeing, reading and volunteering. Feel free to drop me a line if you're looking for a team up!
This is a a great property that is a ten minute walk from Civic, 5 minutes from Braddon, and 25 minutes from ANU. There is a ton of natural lighting with two deck areas. The Kitchen has modern appliances. Most importantly, your future roommate (me) is a great guy.
I'm Gemma, 22 years old student and public servant. I study Psychology and Linguistics, I have an interest in politics, philosophy, literature and film. I have travelled a bit and have plans for a couple of trips in 2017. I like to keep active, I'm a massive dog person (points if you have a dog) and I read a lot. I also love a good Netflix marathon (House of Cards, Stranger Things, Daredevil, Offspring and any movie with Meryl Streep or things that explode). I'm always up for chats about what was really in the suit case in Pulp Fiction and most other fan theory discussions around Tarantino. I also love to bake and most weekends you'll find by Sunday there will be a slice, biscuits, cakes, delicious treats around the place to share. I'm pretty easy going, I like to live in a clean house where everyone does their part. Ideally we wouldn't have a chores roster or anything so much as everyone would clean up after themselves and we'd take turns in doing the really annoying chores like cleaning the bathrooms etc. Head up - I'm not a gardener and I kill most anything I plant in the ground.I prefer for everyone to be responsible for feeding themselves, I have done the group food thing and I'm not a fan of it. I'd like to live with people who are pretty busy themselves but also happy to share a meal and a wine every month or so. I'm in the Inner North of Canberra at the moment and will be in the place I'm in until January 2017, if you're keen on setting up a share house or if I sound like a house mate you might like to live with, please message me.
Relaxed and friendly law student from Melbourne, looking for a share house to join while I undertake a 3 month internship working full-time in the public sector. Always up for a drink after work and am very sociable but at the same time am respectful to other people's privacy / study time / 'me-time'. I am a tidy person and enjoy cooking a meal together every now and then. Love the outdoors, live music, reading, wining & dining and keeping active. Ideally looking for not just a room to rent, but a social place to live with other young professionals.
From day-to-day, I love to cook, be healthy, practice yoga, go for runs, watch movies, read, and listen to music. Less day-to-day, I enjoy travelling abroad and road-tripping at home. I'm from Canberra, but have lived in the USA as a dual citizen; currently studying human rights and development studies at the ANU while working on the side. Also passionate about the environment and responsible consumerism.
I am a PhD student at ANU. Mostly involved in my research work. I am extremely flexible, highly respectful towards other people privacy and disciplined in terms of cooking, cleaning and maintenance. Please message me if I suit your needs. Many thanks Irina

So, im urgently looking for a place to live. I like to make music, read literature and do sports. Im also a social person and easy to get along with. Im looking for accommodation in the period 1-11-2016 till 3-1-2017. In case you have something for me, please let me know!
The home: A two bedroom ground floor apartment with two bathrooms. The second bedroom is available and has it's own bathroom - it's not an ensuite, it's the main bathroom - however, it isn't being used by anyone else. The house is recently moved into and has been newly furnished. Front loader washing machine, new appliances. Apartment is a short walk to the city and only a few blocks from Lonsdale street Braddon. Lots of public transport options and a secure underground car spot is included. There is a small cage in the basement for extra storage. Bills will be split evenly; electricity is relatively cheap as it is a modern apartment and internet is unlimited and $30 each per month. The room: Is fully furnished with a bed and bedside table. You may be able to fit a TV if you would like also. You have the main bathroom as your own, and the room has a whole-wall built in robe so there is plenty of storage space. The room is currently available and there is no pressing move in date - I can be flexible. Me: I'm a mid-late 20s professional who works 5 days currently. I'm looking to come home and relax so I'm hoping to find a cheerful housemate who likes the easy life. I'm a decently tidy person who appreciates a clean kitchen space and a fridge full of wine and chocolate. I'm very friendly and enjoy a good chat, especially to unwind as I cook, however, I'm a fan of personal space so you won't be bombarded. If you're interested please send me a little about yourself and we can organise a time for you to look around.
Hello! I'm moving to Canberra from Brisbane for 3 months for work. I just finished uni, studying economics. As a housemate, I like to socialise with the occasional wine, but definitely am not a party gal. I don't smoke or have any pets, but I do have a boyfriend who would visit occasionally (he lives in Brisbane, so not that often). I enjoy keeping a clean home so if you do too that would be perfect. As i'm only coming down for a little while i really need the room to be furnished, with a bed at least. Let's chat!
Love being close to everything? After a super low maintenance flat with fast internet and relaxed roomies? We're Sarah and Dave, two twenty-something professionals, who are looking for a third housemate for a cosy Turner flat. We're both fairly busy work-wise so the new roomie would be relaxed and respectful, clean but not obsessive. The room fits a double bed and a bunch of bookshelves, and includes a built-in wardrobe. The outside balcony is lovely in the warmer months and the lounge area is cosy in the cool/cold/bloody awful months. Visiting partners/guests are always welcome. The flat is just off Barry Drive on a quiet street facing the park. We're directly across the road from the City-Lyneham bike path and it's a 5-10 minute stroll to Civic, Braddon, ANU, and a bus stop with regular services across the city. Rent will be paid fortnightly. Electricity and internet bills are split evenly. Anything else you'd like to know? Send through a message with a bit of information about yourself and we will get back to you :)

I'm a third-year at ANU who loves cooking, yoga, dogs and tea. In general I'm a pretty quiet and clean person, but I also like to hang out with my housemates and a bottle of ginger beer when we're all home together. Most of the time I'm studying or working, and I also do some volunteer work and like to visit my family in Sydney and Melbourne when I get the time.
After a great couple of years in my current sharehouse my friends are moving interstate and I'm looking for a new place to call home. I work full-time and play sport after work so I'm relatively busy but always happy to share a meal or just hang out. What I lack in time to devote to the house I make up for in killer puns and a Netflix subscription I'm happy to share. I can also bring a Gumtree-chic couch for the house (if there's room) and a thriving basil plant. I'm looking to move in late November. Send me a message and we can see if we're future housemates!
Hi I'm Ori, I'm been living in Canberra for little while and looking for a new place. I'm a clean, neat and tidy person, great cook and non-smoker with a professional full time job and can move in straight away. I'm looking for a nice place with great people. Really social and outgoing, I would love to live with similar people who might watch a movie together sometimes or share a glass of wine in the evenings occasionally! Message me on here and I'll get back to you.
I'm working in a media agency in the city for 4 months now. Loves to go on a stroll or a jog by the lake on weekends. I'm easy to go along with, and loves to keep things neat. I respect privacy and their need for their own down time, as I tend to do the same. I sometimes watch anime shows online, and loves to hang out with a glass of wine or beer every now and then.
