Hi there! We're looking for someone to join our sharehouse in Turner. Large furnished house, modern and clean, double garage, extra off-street parking, big open-plan living room and kitchen, central heating throughout, air-conditioning in living room, separate laundry with washing machine and dryer, bright garden, NBN connected. The $210 ensuite room (available from 21/12) is huge, light and airy, fits a queen/king bed with side tables, has built in wardrobes and a walk in robe. Room is available unfurnished or furnished (price negotiable). We are 10 minutes walk to the city, 10 minutes to Braddon, 10 to O'Connor Shops, 5 to ANU gym, 1 to buses. Perfect location!
From Sydney, I'm looking for a quiet place to set up within walking / cycling distance of ANU - for 6-12 months to start with, but could potentially stay longer. I've worked in the non profit sector for a few years and will be starting my postgrad in February. I'm more on the quiet side but I love a good chat. I enjoy trying my hand at cooking and gardening, and am quite active - I love football and exploring my surrounds.
Hi! I'm 27, work in the arts and am a fan of cats, brunch, cooking, theatre, books and board games :) I'm moving to Canberra around 10 January and am looking for somewhere in the inner-north with housemates who are keen to strike a good balance between socializing and alone time, are chilled out and are keen to share a meal or two.
I am a PhD student in mathematics at UNSW Canberra since September 2019. I generally love to play racquet sports like table tennis, badminton and squash. I am looking for flatmates that like a quiet lifestyle (like me) and do not have pets (cats are fine though). In the last three years, I have spent one year in Italy (Padova), one year in France (Bordeaux) and one year in India (Bangalore) - but this time, I am in this for the long haul. I am looking to shift around January 15.
My name is Jamie. I am moving to Canberra to do my Masters at ANU and am an officer in the Australian Army. I am honest, respectful and trustworthy. I am into fitness and living a healthy lifestyle. I am easy going, clean and enjoy quiet time as well as the occasional glass of wine and hanging out with friends. I am new to Canberra so I’m looking forward to discovering this beautiful city and meeting new people
Relocating to Canberra for work. Full time IT professional. Enjoys the simple things like good food, a nice stroll, reading in the sunshine, music, podcasts, puzzles, crochet and classic TV shows. Looking for a quiet place with private room, short stroll to the city and fun things
Hi there, i am a 31 year old non smoking Aussie. I have **TWO INDOOR BURMESE CATS** who i love and adore. I have recently moved to Canberra from Northern Australia and have been offered a job within the Woden area. Ideally I am seeking to share a place with one or two others MAX. **I have two beautiful Burmese cats who are INDOOR only as as a result am seeking to share with others who are respectful that they cannot be let outside as well as people who enjoy having cats around the house as my two are very affectionate and love to follow people around the house and be pat.** Ideally, I would like an ensuite room or at the least, my own bathroom and a room large enough to fit a queen bed, desk and personal belongings. I am also keen on teaming up with one of two others to find a place together :) I like to get outdoors, am active, love a few drinks with friends on the weekends, love to travel and like to eat well. I also love having a little veggie and herb garden where possible :) Given my ripe old age, I like to keep a quiet home and don't like having parties in my house. I love a happy safe home and am seeking similar in a housemate(s).
(I have a labradoodle puppy called Xisco but I am leaving him with family in Brisbane until I'm permanently settled). - Love playing and watching football/soccer, tennis, AFLW, frisbee, and almost any team sport - Outdoorsy, love a hike and my brother’s got me into rock climbing recently too - Laid back and respectful - Neat and hygenic - Love a beer garden and pub trivia - Casual/social drinker, especially with a board game, but don't binge drink/go out anymore (too old, liver too dead) - Not a reality TV fan but will watch it with mates for fun - Nonsmoker but don't mind if you do outside - 🏳️🌈and in a long-distance relationship - APS grad - Value honesty in sharehousing - Extroverted but value alone time and like to play on my PS4 to switch off - Will travel interstate to visit family occasionally - Want to explore the coast and mountains while in Canberra, as well as the live music scene - Love movies, books, podcasts
Hello, I'm Ben. I consider myself to be a fairly regular 26 year old male. Love getting along with people and open minded. Canberra born and bred. Bit of a Jack of all trades. Trying to get back into keeping active after joining the public service. Do a bit of gaming (Won't chew up too much bandwidth though). I also enjoy a drink and being social, although I'm usually the quiet one in a group. Clean and tidy around the house especially in shared areas. More of a 'clean up after myself' type rather than 'everyone has their turn' but I'm flexible and will fit in with established practices. Not much of a cook but willing to learn. Will do my fair share of housework. Would love to find a place with flat mates that appreciate a really friendly vibe. Would prefer to have a 'trial period' but would love to find the right place to stay at for longer. Cheers,
My names Li, I’m a design student from NSW looking to move to Canberra in January. I’ll be studying at UC and preferably wanting for a place nearby but I do drive so distance isn’t a huge issue. I’m super flexible on furnishing, bond, bills and open to teamups with other students and young professionals however I will need a minimum stay of at least 3 months as well as parking. I’ve been in shared accommodations for a few years now so I understand the importance of respecting space and understanding boundaries. Most of the time I’m either studying, working or binge watching The Office but I’ll always be around to hangout if you need a friend.
Hiiiiii! I’m Recent BioMed & Economics graduate working full time in the public service in Tuggernong. Pet: I do have a pet bunny named Burfi who stays in his little home at all times! Hobbies : Love to bake, a volunteer Tutor for children on the weekends and also picking up a masters soon. Looking for: a friendly and tidy atmosphere for a minimum 6months to max 12 month stay with utilities included. Require a car spot. If there’s a chance I could have my own bathroom would love it! My rental rate is negotiable !
