Hey there I'm Arshia and I'm from Melbourne. I'm a Masters student at ANU looking for a private room for at least the next 6 months. I have a pretty laid back personality and I like living in a clean and tidy place so I will happily contribute to chores to make sure it stays that way! I'm a social person who loves the occasional night out (or in), but as I work part-time and study full-time, I also enjoy having some down-time and privacy. Look forward to hearing from you!
Hi hi everyone! I'm Millie, I'm 22, have just finished up my undergrad at Monash in Melbourne, but I'm from Tassie originally. I am currently working the Xmas period in retail but plan on moving to Canberra sometime in January before starting a grad job in the public service in Feb. I'm a tidy housemate, and have done the sharehouse thing for a few years now! I've spent some time cleaning up after other housemates so I definitely have an appreciation for tidiness (but not OCD) and I'm very respectful of other people, especially in the shared spaces. I am a relatively quiet person and just love to relax after a day at work with or without a wine, watching an episode of whatever is on or reading a book. I do love to occasionally have some friends over and light some candles with the record player on in the corner, but I'll always give my flatmates a heads up and it rarely turns into anything rowdy! On my days off I love to take a trip to the beach to go surfing or venture into the mountains for a nice long day hike. My last housemate had to hide the peanut butter from me, so that may be one of my downfalls... It's just so yummy and self-control can be pretty absent some days. I'm coming up to Canberra January 6th - 10th to do a little scouting and inspect properties and meet people, so if anyone has a spare room and would like to meet, shoot me a message! I then have the one-way ticket booked for Jan 25th, but I'm happy to start paying rent at any point in January. P.s. I don't have any pets but absolutely don't mind if you do!!!
Law graduate heading over from Melbourne to start in one of the APS Graduate programs in Canberra. I am a clean, respectful and environmentally conscious person who knows how to balance my downtime with a good wine and cheese night :D
Split level, airy, top floor apartment. Large room with private en-suite on the lower floor, two other housemates have their bedrooms on the floor above. In built cupboards. White walls ready for decorating (with picture hooks). Living room has a lot of natural light and a big windows, leading onto a balcony. Dining area, kitchen and laundry all good size. We do not pay for water, we split internet and electricity between the three of us on top of rent. Unfortunately not looking for students or couples.
Hey! I'm Steve and I'm moving to Canberra to start a grad job in the public sector. I'm a laid back and highly sociable person (while being mindful of personal space) so would love to find a flatmate that is down for nights of UberEats, movies and Cards Against Humanity. When not working I enjoy eating burgers, drinking old fashioneds, and heading down to the gym to train for and coach in powerlifting. Bonus points if you enjoy bad dad jokes as much as I do!
Hello! I'm a public servant looking to move as my current lease is up. A little about me: I work regular full-time hours. When not working, I enjoy cooking, cycling, hiking, swimming and hanging out over a tea or beer. I am a friendly, easy-going housemate, hoping to live with like-minded people. No bedroom ghosts please :) However, I also value personal space and do enjoy my down time. I also value tidy shared living areas and shared cleaning. I won't go crazy over a dirty breakfast bowl, it's more the idea of having respect for shared living spaces. Any questions, and I'm happy to chat! Cheers, Grace
Hi there, I'm moving to Canberra in Feb 2018 for a new role in public sector. I'm originally from Sydney and am looking for a place for 6 months. I'm pretty outgoing but like my down time too. I am super clean and am looking for someone who is too! Preferably would like to share with one other person - happy to have a wine after work! I love sports and reading crim fic novels. In my free time I like to chill with friends, try new cafes/restaurants and workout/go for walks. I'm currently in Sydney but happy to meet over Skype and go from there :)
Hello! My name is V, I'm 30 and recently returned to Canberra after working overseas. I work full time in the public service, love to travel and I'm learning Bahasa Indonesia after work. I'm tidy, reliable, cook rarely but read a lot of cookbooks and frequently flick through the ALDI catalogue for wine related special busy. I'm looking for a share house/apartment that has a good vibe with professionals around the same age.
Hello! I've recently graduated and have moved out of my old share house to try something new for the new year. I have loved living with friends over the past 2 years and am looking for similarly easygoing, fun and relaxed housemates. I'd love to live in a place with some nice communal areas and lots of natural light. I'll be out during the week with work but am always keen for a glass of wine and a chat at home. While my inability to cook has been my housemates' favourite joke, I'm planning on using the couple of months before I start work to pick up my game! I'm pretty flexible with move in dates. Send me a message if you have anything that suits.
I'm Easy going, 17 and just got offered a 12 month traineeship with the APS in Canberra. Moving interstate from Brisbane, Queensland and looking for somewhere to live for at least 12 months, as I do not know anyone in Canberra, I would prefer to stay in a share house, then live alone. I have extensive experience living with people other than family, as I attended and boarded at a boarding school for three years. I mostly keep to myself, however I'm always down for a chat, great to get along with and can socialise with people of all ages. I know how to cook and clean up after myself, and I also understand the concept of personal space. Flexible with rent, bills and internet.
Hello! I'm originally from Sydney and will be moving down to Canberra sometime in January to start a graduate program with one of the government departments! I am clean and tidy, easygoing, and respectful of personal space and privacy. I appreciate my down time but am up for catching up over a meal or a drink! :) I enjoy good conversations about society, culture and politics, watching indie and foreign films, hanging out in nice parks, visiting art galleries, running, cycling, and drawing.
Hi, my name is Josh and I've just graduated. I will be moving to Canberra to start my job as a full time software developer. I'm a considerate, clean and quiet person, who respects others and their property. I also like to be sociable and hang out, have a chat or a drink with my friends/housemates. I enjoy books, music, playing instruments (don't worry I have headphones), going to the gym having a go at cooking and some video games now and then when I get the time. I'm new to Canberra but I'm looking forward to finding/forming a nice place with other people where we would all get along great. I would prefer to live in Braddon (or close by) and I'm looking at an early Jan move/start date. If you're interested feel free to send a message through on the website and we can start discussing.
Hey I'm Ella! I'm a student from Brisbane currently on exchange in the US, but i'll be taking a break from uni to start an internship in Canberra from Jan 2018. I'd love to move into a sharehouse or apartment with other students or people in their 20s. I love travel, food and my two pugs (who will sadly not be joining me in Canberra). I'm a fan of a night out, but also enjoy a movie or wine night at home. Ideally looking to move in with a sociable bunch of people who enjoy making the most of their weekends, but like more of a relaxed vibe during the week.
I'm a New Zealanders and I'm moving to Australia to study a Master's in Environmental Science at ANU. I love travelling - I grew up in Uzbekistan, Georgia, and Armenia and I'm currently spending the "summer" interning in northern California. Hobbies - cooking, reading, tramping and hiking, fitness, Netflix. I've flatted for 5 years so I'm very tolerant and respectful, and I'm tidy and pretty quiet. I’m looking for a room solo until about June/July when my boyfriend will be moving over from NZ to join me. So I’m interested in short-term single rooms or longer-term rooms that are suitable for couples :)
I was a 2017 APS Graduate and have lived in Turner, Canberra for almost a year. I’m originally from Melbourne but really enjoying Canberra so far. My current lease is not being renewed so looking for somewhere new in the same inner North (preferably Turner, O’Connor, Braddon). I am looking to move in with other people in their mid 20s. It would be great to live with people I get on with socially as well and don't just keep to themselves. It would be bonus if the people I live with enjoy/tolerate my dad jokes and dry sense of humour. I would say I am fairly easy going, I am clean (although I must confess that my room isn’t always spotless), and respectful of communal areas and other people’s space. I certainly do not mind a party (preferably at someone else's house) or just a casual sunday drink, but it's sometimes also great to spend a Saturday night chilling on the couch and watching a movie. I would love to cook and share a meal with my housemates once in a while as well. Please feel free to message me to ask me anything :)

Hello, my name is Jacob and I am a school leaver who will be studying nursing in Canberra in 2018. I am a very clean person and like to keep my spaces neat and tidy, I'm not shy of a good conversation and I enjoy the company of others. I am hoping to find somewhere to live as soon as possible, if you have ANY questions please don't hesitate to ask, I will be more than happy to answer them to the best of my ability. Thank you.
Jens and I are 23 and 22 years old, both from Germany and both studying Physics. Jens has graduated already and started his PhD in Astrophysics at ANU in September. Therefore he will be living in Canberra for at least a few years. I am doing my Masters in Physics and came to Canberra to write my Masters thesis in a research group at ANU for about six months. We both like sports and the outdoors a lot and love to go mountainbiking, hiking, skiing, swimming, surfing,... Both of us have lived in shared flats before and like to consider ourselves as pretty uncomplicated as well as clean and tidy. Of course we are always up for a chat or sharing a meal with our flatmates :)
Hey, I'm looking for a room in Braddon, Turner, Acton, Reid, or Civic. Ideally, I’d like a place with a decent sized bedroom, my own bathroom and car park. However, even more important is finding fun, friendly and sociable housemates! A bit about me: I moved to Canberra from Perth at the start of this year for a grad position in the APS. Next year I’ll be working in the same department and I’m also considering doing a Master’s part-time at ANU. I’m 24, a non-smoker, pet-free, I don’t take drugs, etc. I’m also very neat - I’m happy to send a photo of my current place! I’ve lived in a number of share houses over the years (with guys and girls), so I’m pretty sociable and easy to live with. I’m a big fan of social sport, cooking, casual drinks, music (I come with headphones), and solid TV series (think Game of Thrones, House of Cards and Veep). Let me know if you think I’d be a good fit! Sam :)
Hey, I’ll be moving to Canberra early January next year to study postgrad at ANU and now looking for a permanent accommodation in a shared house/ apartment. I love travelling, hiking and working out. I'm tidy, clean and likely to keep things organized. Please let me know if you're interested to live in a shared house with me, preferably in the inner-north Canberra locations.
I am a third year uni student studying law & economics, while working part time. Very clean, easy to get along with, and I'm not very loud. Independent and will largely keep to myself during the semester, but I'm also quite sociable and fun to hang out with. I am also a non-smoker.
Hey everyone, I'm a 21 year old male from Brisbane that's looking to move down to Canberra to start work in the APS. I'm a pretty tidy and chill guy who enjoys watching sports, travelling, socialising and meeting new people. I am looking to move in with people around my own age and who share similar interests and have a place available from ~1 year. As I am relocating from Brisbane and commencing in February, I would like to be moved in and settled by January sometime. Send me a message if you think that we'd be a good match or have any questions! Thanks!
