Hi, I'm going into my final semester of uni and work part time. I have previous share house experience and am friendly, clean and considerate. I enjoy socialising while also being respectful of people's space, and I'm clean & quiet :) Looking to move in late June when our current lease ends. Hobbies include writing, reading, and both going out with friends and staying in with Netflix and a warm blanket!
Hello, I am relocating to Canberra to begin a 3 year researcher position at ANU. I am a Spanish national and have lived abroad in shared places in Florence, Auckland, and Melbourne previously. I am a social person but also respect people's privacy. Am a clean and tidy person, willing to pitch in for all household chores. In my down time I enjoy running, sports, and going out for good meals. As a bonus, I can cook Italian and Spanish dishes very well.
I'm an International Relations student from Madrid and I'll be doing an internship in Canberra from July 1 until September 30. I've been sharing rooms/flats for the past three years and what I like the most is to share a good meal with my flatmates or a glass of wine from time to time. I'm quite outgoing but I also respect others' personal space. I'm tidy and I clean up after myself, message me if you're interested! :)
I work full time in the APS and am studying a masters in my spare time! I am very easy to get along with and am clean, considerate and mature, and I don't have any weird habits! I'm also a non smoker if that is important! I like to clean up after myself and I hope you do too, but I'm not a crazy clean type! I'm a good cook with winter dishes my speciality! I'm an experienced sharehouser (is that even a word!?) and am considerate with noise etc I enjoy the occasional dinner party/bbq, a few friends over for drinks or games night etc but not looking for a party house or nightclub to live in as sleep and relaxation as important haha I'm happy to hang out and chat, watch netflix etc but also like some me time to study! I like to play squash, go bushwalking, and thinking about mountain biking, and archery atm but am open to getting involved in other things :) My move date is also flexible as I'm on a monthly contract in my current place.
We are both two very tidy, educated and respectful young professionals from Colombia. Diana, has lived in Canberra for the past 11 months and Carolina for the past 2 months. We both have stable jobs, savings in the bank and are looking to start a more settled life here in Canberra. We are both incredible house proud and like to live somewhere clean and tidy. We are quiet and respectful people who enjoy the simple things in life like cooking dinner at home or going to the gym. We both are non-smokers and have no pets. We are both looking for somewhere stable, quiet and close to public transport to support our goal of settling down in Australia.
Both of us are going to join ANU as master's student in July 2017. Indian by origin, can decently cook veg Indian cuisine. Fun-loving, easy going and don't intervene in others' matters unless it involves us. Sincere and regular in terms of payment of dues and bill clearance. We are a bit cleanliness cautious so we try to maintain my immediate surroundings as neat and tidy possible. Comfortable with smokers, party animals, late night comers etc. Love pets but am tying to avoid stay with one. Looking for a 2-3 sharing housing.
I'm a 46 year old professional from Sydney working for a company in Braddon. I'm planning to stay only 4 nights as I will be travelling to back to Sydney for the weekend.
I'm a 30 year old woman from Slovenia. I am moving to Canberra to work as an astronomer at the observatory. I am looking for a private room in a shared house, preferably with a garden, from mid June. I like to spend my time outside - hiking, cycling, snorkeling, whale watching, stargazing etc. but I also like to read in the garden, play cello (a silent one!), take photos and enjoy interesting conversations. I would very much like to live with people who would not only be my flatmates but also friends who would join me on my adventures, share a meal and go out together now and then.
Hey Flatmaters, i'm Anthony, looking for temporary residence whilst I reestablish myself back in the Berra. I'm an experienced house-sharer, considerate of others, clean, respectful, social, enjoy a chat. About me : enjoy the outdoors, travelling, going on hikes, photography, nature, reading, seeing live music, catching up with friends... If you think we'd be a good fit get in touch! Cheers Anthony.
I'm joining ANU as a Post-Grad student for the Semester 2. I'm great to talk to, friendly and responsible hence there won't be any dues on rents, bills, etc. Like to keep the place I live tidy and would expect a roommate to be the same as well. My favorite pass time would be to watch movies or TV shows that are trending. Love to shop around and get a few drinks once in a while. I'm a dog-lover and love to babysit them for friends or family. Can cook pretty well and a food-lover. So I'm pretty sure I could be the best roommate you can get :) I'm looking for a place close to ANU which would not take me more than 15 mins on commute. Preferable roommates are students and non-smokers. Smoking outside the premise is fine:)
Hello! I am a young professional in my late twenties. I am often described as thoughtful, playful, and tolerant by those who know me. I consider myself very tidy, clean, and respectful. I am looking to share a house/flat of mixed gender. Preferably 3-4 people (including myself). I love animals, so pets are not a problem. (That said, I do not have any pets of my own and won't be bringing or acquiring any). I love good food, outdoors, exploring new places, trying new things, exercise and lead an active lifestyle. Well maybe not as much as those who live in lycra and compete in sports... but I do enjoy the fresh air. I also enjoy being a home body, and would be happy curled up on the couch with a glass of red, playing board games with whomever is up for a chat. I am a clean and organised person, but I don't go nuts with cleaning rosters. I believe we're all capable of pitching in with the cleaning when needed and when it's not inconvenient to do so. That said, I'd prefer not to live in a pig sty. If I sound like the right flatmate to you, shoot me a message, introducing yourself and the other tenants. Thanks! P.S. I do want to be part of a home, not just living with flat mates, however I have a preference to do my own cooking. Happy to participate in house dinners once a week i.e. someone different takes a turn to cook every Tuesday, rather than three different people cooking three different days per week. P.P.S. I am a non-smoker, but I don't mind if you smoke, so long as it's outside and not in the house. P.P.P.S. I cannot live without a dishwasher. They are the best thing ever invented and I will use it religiously.
I am looking for a quite flate mate who wants to share their house with me. I love to be nice and tidy and also keeps my space condition neat. I would prefer furniture if possible as i am moving from QLD. Rent from $150 /wk including all the bills would be ok for me. I will tell you a bit about myself before moving in.
We are future Masters Students at ANU for this fall and we are looking for accommodation for two, we are awesome Fun loving Gregarious Love to party Always serious about studies and credible Love to stay with someone who can be flexible at times and can eat delicious Indian FooD :)
We're two friends looking for a house or some fun housemates to team up with. Sophie's from Canberra and Simone's moving back to Canberra after a year in Sydney. Both of us work full time and are keen to live with laid back housemates who like hanging out after work, heading out on weekends and who also don't mind a few quiet nights in between.
Currently looking for a room or to team up with some like minded fun people. I have been living in Reid for the last 18 months but the landlord is selling the house so time to move! I'm 25 play a lot of sport during the week and go to the snow over the weekends. I am outdoorsy and social and enjoy a wine or beer with housemates. I have been in share houses since I was 18 and like to think I know how to behave in one by now :) I would like to live out of the inner suburbs with a little bit more space like Hackett or O'connor.
We are a geeky, quiet couple who like playing video games, cooking up a good dish, watching Netflix, anime and copious amounts of youtube. Ben is often working on some kind of project often involving robotics or programming, and Shannon is often drawing, illustrating and enjoys creative projects. We both enjoy video games, board games and occasionally going to jazz club. We both are self-employed and run our own start-ups as well as aid other businesses around Canberra. Ideally, we would like to get a 2 Bedroom apartment close to the city with either another person or preferably another couple. But are open to getting 1 or 2 Room in a sharehouse elsewhere. Feel free to message us for a chat or meet up for coffee. :) Ben: Flatmates autocrops the picture... no face for me.... :( Shannon: I AM THE RULER OF FACES NOW!!!
I am Sushmitha from India. Joining ANU for sem 2 as a grad student for applied economics. I am 23 years old looking for an accommodation close to ANU campus. Would prefer only female roommates. I am very socializing, friendly, kind and organized. Love music, movies and food. I cook quite well too. I am a vegetarian but I do not mind my roommates being meat eaters. I am helpful and fun to be around- so I will be a great roommate! :)
Hey yo! Joel here! I'm originally from Malaysia and am looking for a place for me to settle for at least one year while I get my masters done. I'm studying Masters in International Law in the ANU. I will also be working and studying to be admitted into court. Hence, I will be fairly busy in 2017. In terms of being a flatmate, the thing I value most is cleanliness - I like keeping things tidy and clean, especially the bathroom. I respect privacy and hope to receive the same. Having said that, I am a rather social person. I love the idea of sharing a conversation over a meal, or even perhaps doing something interesting over the weekend. I'm pretty open minded and respect diversity in any form. I may occasionally sing in the shower though, so I guess that is something to be aware of. =)
I'm moving back to Canberra for work after 9 months in Sydney. I'll be working in Deakin Mon-Fri. I can cook, I can clean and I like wine. I enjoy living in a busy house - I'm quite social. On weekends I'll be out and about or travelling to visit friends. Essential - walking distance to decent coffee :) Would prefer close to the city, don't mind North or South. I love animals so a pet would be amazing!
