Westfield Garden City shopping centre is one of the largest shopping centres in Brisbane and includes major super market chains and other retail chain stores. Excellent transport with regular and direct buses to many areas. If further help is needed in this regard you are welcome to request. Excellent references and recommendations from past tenants. Can be provided on request. Deal with owner and no agents. Owner is very understanding, helpful, listens and provides individual attention to requests. Leases are very flexible. No penalties for breaking lease. Whatsapp, viber or skype available if needed for vedio chat. Please request contact details if required. Tips: - Rents in places with pools, gyms, spas, special security etc may include hidden additional fees for these in the rent and you will not need them all the time. It is a waste of money. They can be obtained for cheap outside when you need only. - If you rent together with others or in apartments you may have to pay internet, elctricity and water on top of rent making your budgeting more difficult as you will not know what these fees are until bills appear. - It is better to deal with owner as they will be more responsible and care more. May be willing to help when needed. - It is better to have a flexible contract in case you are unhappy and need to move without penalty. - A share-house will help you to make lasting friends, help you to learn different cultures and give greater control of noise etc as all house mates will be in the house and you could discuss with them rather than those in outside surrounding apartments over whom you will have no control. Also all inclusive rent in a share house will give you a fixed rent and help you to budget more accurately. - Share-houses are comparatively cheaper and good value. May have less stringent conditions. - If the owner is in charge and lives closeby your needs will be attended to quickly and you will feel more comfortable.
Hi, I’m planning to move into new accomodation soon. Looking for a CLEAN and QUIET place with COVERED PARKING. The room should be furnished with at least a CHAIR, DESK and BED. Budget for BILLS and RENT is $165. Please read listing carefully before making contact. Happy to answer any queries you may have. Thanks! Kevin
THERE IS NO FURNITURE IN THIS ROOM. Close to Garden City and the South East Busway, so it is easy to get around if you don't have a car. If you do have your own transport, both the Gateway Motorway and the Pacific Motorway are close by, so the Gold Coast is only 45 minutes away and the CBD is 15 minutes in heavy traffic.
University teacher and researcher new to Brisbane seeks furnished home base near Griffith uni Nathan from late June until late September. I'm in my late 30s, and like drinking coffee and spending time outdoors. I'm respectful in shared living situations.
I'm working as a full-time in a chartered accountant firm in CBD. I'm okay with my housemate(s) to have puppies or kitties as I love them too. I don't have my puppy in Australia but I have one in my homeland. I would like to chat on and off, and establish good friendship with my future housemate. I usually love cooking so I'd like to share a bit of my food whenever I have more than I could consume, but due to the busy work I don't cook that much nowadays. I'd prefer my housemate(s) do not smoke because I am a bit allergic to the smell. Drinking occasionally is fine as long as the house is kept clean or cleaned up after. My hobbies are mostly outdoor, like hiking on weekends or travelling during holidays, wondering around the old town to see culture things. I love scuba-diving, but haven't done that for quite a while. I used to go linear salsa dance but not very often recently. Museums on weekends with friends are also some nice thing I like. Overall, I am a very easy-going friend. (I started to see what are the elements of a places that will be essential to me, then I realised putting on more details will help the people to assess if I'm a suitable housemate so I hope you don't mind reading more things below: The key things I look for in a house are some furniture and good housemates: - a good size desk (maybe I should say, "large desk") is important tome , because I sometimes have to work at home too. A proper desk is much appreciated; - Bed or soft mattress is not a must. My back doesn't like to stay on soft mattress so I'm happy to even sleep on the ground if there is carpet and it's 2nd floor (ground floor in QLD is a bit humid); - I do have quite a bit of things/boxes so I would appreciate a medium-large size room or area; - housemates around my age 28-48 will be great; - I would feel inspired if the owner or housemate have puppies and kitties and I'm happy to help taking care of them whenever I can. - dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer preferable; - own bathroom is preferable but not a definite must, as long as if the share people are clean and we can set rules that we both agree upon.)
My husband/best friend Sam and I are new to Brisbane area - relocating from the Sunshine Coast and United States. We are easy going and and do our share to keep things tidy. We mostly keep to ourselves but are also up for a chat or a drink on weekends. We have a 2 and a half year old medium sized dog who will be joining us in Brisbane in August - he is fully house trained and always up for a pat. I work for a software company and Sam is a mechanical engineer.
Hello I am an easy going professional who works in Health + a little bit of study on the side. I enjoy all the typical millennial shenanigans. I will tidy up after myself, will contribute around the place and "play by the rules". Set out your 'few' rules and I will follow them. In my Industry I've worked with many people across all generations and cultures, so I can fit in many diverse households. I will be looking for a new place come June. Please read my bio below. ** 8 - 10 week "try before long stay" - which I feel is a win for both parties** [REQUIREMENTS] -Good people with a max of only two others (couple accepted) -Own space (private bed) with minimal distractions and that freedom -Internet + most utility bills and body corp fees (if any) included in the rent I pay [REQUIREMENTS] I can assist and return the favour by paying you off financially :)
Hey! I'm Josh. I'm a Training Store Manager at Aldi. I'm looking for somewhere to move to from my current location. I work full time with Aldi and I'm studying online to be a personal trainer. I'm clean and keep to myself. My girlfriend has her own place, and I stay at her house half the time, but I do like her to be able to come over and sometimes sleep over (but again - she does have her own house, so she won't be there super often). I'm a very respectful person and the odds are that you probably won't see me much, as I'll be all over the place!
