Hi I'm Jade, 26 and I'm ideally looking for a room in the eastern kind of area although I am pretty open as long as public transport is easily available. I'm originally from Essex, UK and here on a working holiday visa. I have not long completed my regional work (it was awful) and need a cute and comfy place to call home to enjoy my second year while I try to figure out a way to stay here forever. I will be looking to move in at the beginning of January when I get back to Sydney after a long holiday back to the rainy and freezing cold UK. Seriously though why am I going in December?! I'm currently working full-time in the CBD in administration and pretty much every day will meet with friends or attempt the gym straight from work. I'm a clean and organised (some might say a little obsessive) non smoker, part time drinker here to make friends as well as house mates. Peace. ✌🏼️
The room is in a houseshare and will be available from 17 December 2016 1 January 2017. The house is close to Bondi Junction train station and all the shops. Perfect spot for someone looking for temporary housing. Huge backyard and patio to relax in after work or on the weekend.
One bedroom in a fully equipped unit within walking distance to Bronte Beach and Bondi Junction. Shops and restaurants on the front door. Family home with fully equipped kitchen and laundry room. Plenty of buses at only 20 metres to Bondi Junction, Bronte Beach and airport. Very convenient location.
Respectful Australian guy looking for a room in an established home or to collaborate with people who want to make a new place. My work focuses on understanding how distinctive environments and organizational cultures impact creativity and innovation for community wellbeing. Not interested in a partyhouse. Rather, I appreciate a friendly and relaxed vibe - ideally making a sanctuary, balancing private and shared space. That said, my interests range from a love of exploring nature to storytelling, conversation and an occasional social drink or cooking a meal for friends. Simon
Me in a nutshell - Easy going, social, reliable, friendly and like to keep a balanced lifestyle. I work full time in financial services, enjoy Pilates, running, travelling, paddleboarding, a few drinks and coffee. Ideally it would be great to be able to move somewhere and have it feel like home. I am always up for a chat, meal or wine however appreciate my own time and space. I have bedroom furniture so an unfurnished room would be best. I am a social smoker (strictly outdoor only) so I'd need a place to be ok with that.
We are looking to fill 1 room in our Bronte home. It is 3 bedroom 2 bath flat close to Tamarama and Bronte beach. The house has views of the ocean and hardwood floors. The room can be furnished or unfurnished depending on what you have and the house fully furnished with all appliances ready for you to use. The room does not have a build in wardrobe but there is plenty of space for one. About us: We all work full time and enjoy my weekends with friends, the beach and going out. We all like to have a good time but work hard during the week. We are looking for someone to share a home with who is clean, helps out with the chores and can have a beer or two with us. Ideally this person will be looking to stay longer term. The room is available now or can be in 3 weeks. We are flexible with move in dates but prefer someone sooner than later. Rent is paid monthly. We look forward to meeting you!
I'm a media advisor working in the CBD, currently commuting from the Blue Mountains. Looking to be closer to work, and hopefully start studying my Master's Degree. When I'm not working or studying, I enjoy yoga, Pilates and running. I'm quiet and pretty easy going and am always up for a chat over a glass of wine. I also make an excellent cup of tea.
Hey! I'm Adam. 24-year-old from the US in Australia on a working holiday visa. I'm doing career work in Real Estate and I'm trying to find a short-term room to rent in Sydney, no longer than 6 months. As a roommate: I'm extremely flexible, relaxed, clean, and courteous. I've lived in many shared houses in the states (including an 8-person house in Uni!) , so I know the dos and don'ts of being a good roommate. I'm not a party animal, so I won't be blasting tunes or banging around at 3 am, but I do like to have a good time. Good beer will be stocked in the fridge. I will say "yes" to any adventure around the city that is proposed. I'm currently living out of a backpack, so clutter around the house will be at a minimum. BONUS SKILLS: I can play 3 instruments, so if you're a musician, let's jam. I do funny impressions, but I'm still too shy to try my Australian... I'd like to live with sociable people who I can feel comfortable grabbing a beer or just kicking it at the house with. If your housemates tend to stick to themselves most of the time, that's cool too. I will be grateful to anyone that saves me from the toil of hostel life, but preferably good people who can show me the best this country has to offer!
Hi I'm Alice, 21 years old and a young professional working 30-40 hours per week. Looking for a room to rent in an existing share house/apartment. Ideally looking to live with males/females or a couple. I'm easy going, friendly, fun, and trustworthy. I like my personal space and time at home but also like to socialise and always keep my house respected and clean and tidy. I'm into the gym and my music, and do a lot of reading, cooking, and watch movies but also like to go out for drinks now and then. Looking to live with people long term who are respectful of personal space and tidy, but someone who I can socialise with. I'm Aussie by citizenship but originally from England and lived in Sydney for 2 years.
Easy going, respectful and understanding of house shares. 26 year old Australian, just returned from the UK and looking for a place to call home. I'm clean and tidy, enjoy a mid week sneaky wine or dinner but mostly enjoy down time during the working week. Enjoy the beach, netball and BBQ's over summer. If I sound like the right fit for you, please do get in touch. Thanks Cassie
My name is Holly! I'm a chef in Berrima, NSW! I'm starting a new job in Vaucluse in December/January and need a temporary home/long stay home depending on how the job goes! It will be Monday - Friday work. I'm easy going, love adventures, a bit of a clean freak and love to cook at home. I don't smoke. However, I don't care if someone smokes..and well, who wouldn't want to live with pets?! I just don't own any myself. Max budget is $300. Need a place where I can park my car and preferably an ensuite...happy to go without. No share bedrooms. Looking for furnished room so I can make an easy move! I love reading and live music. Let me know if you have something! Thanks!
We have recently moved to Sydney, found full time work and looking for a more permanent home near the city to base ourselves. We don't mind sharing a room if it is private. We are both very clean, tidy, sociable and respectful. We both like to relax and go for drinks and dinners at the weekends, but tend to go to bed pretty early in the week so fresh for the early mornings.
Hello wonderful people, I'm a 26yr old male working professional looking to move with a view to stay long term. I'm an open minded and easy person who loves life and is looking for great adventures! I'm going to do my internship in Sydney for six months starting from January 2017. I love laughing and having fun. I like to keep my home tidy and cozy so it's nice to come home.
I'm a 3 time world champion professional inline skater from the south east coast of AUS living in Sydney for the last 10 years. I work for a company that allows me to travel around schools teaching skateboarding and inline skating. I've lived in Bondi for the last 6 years but feel it's time for a change so I'm hoping to find somewhere closer to work but also not too far from the beach. Cheers CJ 👍
Hi, Im Bre, a 35yo Professional, Hard-working Female. Looking for a large room, would prefer own bathroom but not essential. I work long hours but looking for somewhere quiet, down to earth and relaxed. Love the beach and harbour, so its proximity may be handy also but not essential. The only catch is I need undercover parking for a car.
Hey, I'm Hayley :) I recently relocated from Perth to be closer to friends and family. I work as a Personal Assistant at KPMG in Barangaroo. I am a happy and chilled out person with a sense of humour and love sharing a Netflix binge or some reality tv viewing with my flattie(s). I live a balanced lifestyle, love Pilates and Yoga, cooking and eating well. My weekday evenings are very chill and my weekends are usually spent at the beach, with friends or seeing live music. I am independent but social and love a big night out every couple of weeks but also love my down time. I enjoy living in a nice place that I can make a home. I am organised, house-proud and extremely clean and tidy - probably the best housemate around :) I am flexible with move in dates as I am looking for a long-term home and would prefer to wait for the right place / people. Location would ideally be in walking distance to the beach and public transport to the city. Ideal housemates would be good people with similar interests who enjoy a glass of vino and some banter and like to share an occasional meal. I come with bedroom furniture (currently in storage) but happy to contribute anything needed for a new house if need be.
Chill, clean, friendly and love the outdoors. Over the whole party thing, so not looking for such a place, though dont mind the occasional night out. I work full time as a mechatronics engineer.
I am a part-time student studying a Bachelor of Science (Chemistry) at UNSW, and have permanent work. I am looking for a place to live long term. I am easy going, sociable and clean. I am respectful of others and enjoy time to myself or with my friends. I am looking to live with like minded people, that are keen to live in a friendly, relaxed environment, but do not have issues with cleanliness. I grew up near Wollongong, so I enjoy outdoor activities, particularly surfing and bushwalking, so living with people that enjoy these would be a bonus (but not essential) :) I am looking for a private unfurnished room. Feel free to ask me any other questions.
Canadian-Australian couple in Sydney for a few months with work and looking to share a place with some lovely interesting folks. Both into music and nature, we get out into nature a lot and also enjoy cooking and relaxing at home in the evenings. We both enjoy a calm, clean and chill space and make a point to respect the privacy of our flatmates. We'd love to spend time with the people we live with, optimistic that we could have shared interests!
So I'm making the move from Christchurch, New Zealand to Sydney for a job opportunity with the bank I work with. I'll be working full time in the city Mon-Fri. Likely to work late a few nights a week I thoroughly enjoy a healthy amount of banter and am capable of providing it whenever necessary. Not a stranger to a beer, my arm is easily twisted when it comes to sharing in an after work beverage. I like breakfast food, Netflix and motorcycles... not necessarily in that order or limited to those exact things.... Keen to meet new people and make the most of it, so get at me if I sound like your type of flatmate Not looking for a place that's smashing out a slab a night and blasting tunes till 3 am, but don't want to end up somewhere with flatmates that lock themselves in their room the second they come home either. I'm tidy, polite and have a good sense of humour, so if I sound like your type please get in touch -- Moving to Sydney around 22/11/16
I am from Spain and I am 25 years old. I am a friendly, clean and tidy person. I like a lot all type of sport, travel and party. I don't smoke and don't have pets. If you have something like this, let me know please. Regards Eneko
Hi there! Olly and I are from England and recently moved to Sydney. We transferred here with my company where I work full time and Olly is currently temping whilst looking for full-time employment. My work hours are relatively long, I'm usually out of the house from 7am to 7pm. We both love the beach and improving our surf technique is high on the agenda! We enjoy eating out and going to bars on the weekend and chilled and relaxed evenings during the week. Olly enjoys cooking so we are more than happy to share dinners and BBQs with flatmates and friends. We're both very friendly and enjoy meeting new people. We also enjoy exploring so if we're not at the beach we're often out and about in Sydney on the weekend.

I am a fun and low maintenance guy to live with. I am a young Australian PhD researcher at UNSW. I grew up by the beach in the Sutherland Shire, and am looking to move out closer to work in the Coogee/Randwick area. I love the beach, and love my sports - being a huge football and cricket fan, and like to keep myself active I'm neat and respectful, would love to live with people who are capable of being independent, though also would enjoy sharing in the occasional drink or meal!
Hey I'm working full time in the eastern suburbs. I often work long hours but love to unwind on my time off cooking with a nice glass of wine. Love to get out and about at the weekend and catch up with mates. I'm quite easy going and do like to be social but don't want a party house. Ideally like to find a like minded housemate or somebody that wanted to start a share together maybe..
Hi, my name is Olivia and I'm from Sweden, currently living in Stockholm. I will be studying communication design in Sydney from February 20th for 2-3 years and I'm looking for a place to stay.
