Hi! I have been living in Surry Hills and working as an architect in Sydney for 6 months now and I absolutely love this place! I'm Dutch and have always lived in shared houses and would love to continue doing this. Except for my awesome flatmates, my current house is a bit shitty. So I am up for something new. I work full-time, so you will only see me in the mornings, evenings preparing and eating dinner, or in the weekends hanging out and grabbing a drink (if not exploring NSW). My move in date is very flexible. Please, send me a message! Cheers!! Olaf

Hi! We are Horacio & Cecy from Venezuela and Barcelona. We are moving to Sydney next June 26th and we are in search of a double room :) We are looking for nice and clean people to share our space during our little adventure down under. We are a cook and a photographer, interested in live music, films and going outdoors. We care about the environment, and we try to live a zero waste lifestyle, therefore it would be ideal for us to find flatmates that are also interested or are at least willing to try it. We offer respect for your privacy, order in the common areas and companionship, along with some homey meals, tea and beers to share from time to time.

Hi , I’m looking for a room in existing share house or would also be interested in teaming up ! preferably other girls in their early 20’s but not a party house, really want somewhere where we can be friends and housemates ☺️ Also hopefully somewhere my boyfriend can stay over a couple nights a week. Ideally I am looking to move in around June / July (date is flexible) I will be working full time. Please message me if you have/ know of anything suitable or are looking for a place too🙂. Thanks, Olivia
I am making the move from sunny Queensland down to Sydney as this is where most of my work is. I am freelance in TV and so usually would be working longish hours during the week or sometimes working from home. I am looking to move early July and am keen to find somewhere soon as I have a gorgeous old dog and want to find a happy home for us both. I am happy to pay a little in advance to secure the right place. I would love a decent sized room in a house with a fully fenced dog friendly garden. I am easy-going, clean, optimistic and the usual when it comes to being sociable - love a glass of wine and a chat - but also like my own space and respect yours. Interests wise I love swimming, walking, being by the beach - in and on and by the water, I love playing squash, live music, drinking wine with friends, laughing, films, theatre, doco's and am a sucker for crime dramas. I am looking for somewhere with warm and friendly housemate/s, a relaxed atmosphere but not a party house, and housemate/s that will be kind to the dog! Storm (the dog) is a grand old lady, gets on really well with other dogs, loves human company, never barks, sleeps a lot and is generally adorable. I would arrange for a dog walker to take her out in the middle of the day when I was at work. I will be in Sydney on Sat, Sunday and Monday (26th, 27th and 28th May to look at places so please do get in touch if you have something that might work. Thanks so much
We have a beautiful new home a short walk to Bronte Beach and Bondi Junction. Transport and amenities one minute walk.It is fully furnished with huge built wardrobes. Air conditioning, tv and foxtel included . Room is $550 for one person and $600 for 2 people.
FLEXIBLE On move in date and rent as I am looking for somewhere that I love and lucky not to be in a rush! ME: I'm a 30 year old who works full time in infrastructure comms, hours being 9ish-5ish, with the occasional late night and some regional travel. I'm pretty social and get out of the house most evenings if only to go to yoga or something. At home, I alternate between being social and hiding in my room with a book. I stay up quite late most nights, so you may hear me creeping to the fridge to stare at the contents before convincing myself it's way too late for a snack. WHAT I'M AFTER - MUST have my own bathroom or ensuite. - Must have decent sized built-in wardrobes. - Ideally some kind of parking solution. - Prefer not to live with a couple. Also, would really appreciate air-con but as long as there's decent insulation not a big deal! YOU: Gender or sexuality wise - no preference. I just like friendly and genuine people as I am the same. (Fair warning - am rather grumpy in the morning). I'm looking for somebody considerate and straight to the point (blunt even) so that little household issues don't turn into hurt feelings and instead get resolved easily. I.E. if you think I'm being crap or my tv is too loud or whatever just tell me and vice versa. - A non-negotiable quality is the desire/willingness to keep shared places clean, particularly the kitchen. Open to a cleaning roster if that's easier, or maybe even a cleaner. (Victim of post-traumatic share stress disorder on this issue) - Ideally somebody I can talk to/joke around with so that we can have a comfortable balance of doing our own thing and interacting. GUESTS : - Not open to a "party house" but definitely need everyone to be able to have friends over for a gathering occasionally or an unplanned overnight guest (common sense/consideration being key.) FOOD SHARING AND FURNITURE: ◦ Happy to share any bulk food items - I cook pretty well but it's not a hobby of mine. Would consider a room with a bed in it depending on the quality of the bed, as I plan to buy a new one. PETS Love animals but would only consider a breed that doesn't shed if living indoors.
We are Shannen and Naoise and we have just moved to Sydney. Were looking for a new place from the beginning of July. So a bit about ourselves and hopefully why we will make great housemates: Naoise is originally from Perth but has been living in Ireland for the last 12 years. He is a Mechanical Engineer so he is very handy to have around the place for fixing things. He is quite adventurous and likes to get outdoors try new things (skiing, mountain biking, camping surfing etc). Naoise has a great sense of humor and is always up for a good laugh and doesn't take himself too seriously. Shannen is Irish and is a Neuroscience graduate. Recently she has been working in virus detection. Shannen loves to bake so there will always be treats in the house. She is also one of the most kind, caring and friendly people you will ever meet. She has a warm and bubbly personality. We aren't exactly party people but we do enjoy meeting new friends and having a drink or two on the weekend. We have been living in shared houses with other people for the last 5 years so we are used to sharing space with other people. We are both quite active and are looking forward to get out to the beach and enjoy the famous Aussie weather. If we sound like we could be your perfect housemates please contact us. Best Regards, Shannen and Naoise
