I am currently renting a two bedroom apartment in Kingston, ACT and my lease runs out early December. I have a bubbly personality and am very tidy. I like to keep to myself at times but I also don't mind having dinner together sometimes. My budget is around $200/week. I am a German citizen and have lived in Canberra for the past 5 years. I am on a Working Holiday Visa at the moment but am transferring over to a Student Visa in November. This allows me to work no more than 20 hours a week. Since I will be Studying full time and working in hospitality I would be out of the house quite a bit. It's $740/month which is around 170/week. It would only let me set it as weekly rent. The house is fully furnished now, just used the photos from when we first moved in. The room is decent sized with a built in, and is unfurnished. The house is pretty large so there's room for anything you want to bring with you (a couch is really the only thing we’re missing though) and the backyard is pretty large as well. There's also a separate study and a bunch of living space to spread out and cram. Just down the road is a bus stop for the number 40 bus which runs pretty close to UC and stops at Barry Drive (right next to ANU). The house is just around the corner from Jamison Centre and within walking distance from the Macquarie shops. Bek (pictured) is 5'3" for reference.

The property has a big fenced backyard and barbecue perfect for entertaining. There is an Xbox, wii and record player and the animals are always after affection and cuddles. The house is perfectly situated just off Belconnen way meaning it is conveniently easy to get into the city yet not too close to be a noise nuisance. It is in safe area across from a primary school and a short walk to Woolworths and the Bottle-O, as well as a short drive to Westfield Belconnen. You’ll be living with one couple and a male in their mid 20s-early 30s; along with two playful dogs and a Birman cat. As a public servant, high school teacher and a full time worker, they are all quite busy throughout the week. im quiet and keep to myself but i don't mind a chat. i work at a chocolate shop so you'll always have access to goodies from my work. i enjoy baking so there will always be snacks in the house. my cat is adorable and loves lots of cuddles. she is friendly, litter trained and he has never damaged anything. i have a stable job and rent is always on time and i don't mind pitching in around the house with anything you'd need. i have a handyman father who can do almost anything. any questions just ask.
