Hey! I'm Cecilija. I'm a professional gardener with a Visual Arts degree, and my partner Aidan is a qualified teacher who works as an educator at the War Memorial. We have a beautiful doggie, Lottie, who is a Border Collie X Kelpie. She's well trained, playful, and super cuddly. We're after a little spot where we can relax with the pup, have cups of tea, a glass of wine, and preferably grow some veggies. As housemates we're tidy, we both enjoy cooking, and are always up for a chat or a hang. Although we enjoy a chin-wag, we'll respect your space too. We also have a fairly solid houseplant collection to bring to the table. Hope to hear from you!

Hi there, I’m a 35 year old high school teacher with a 4 year old border collie. I live fairly quietly, love to walk, bike ride, do yoga, travel, eat simply & healthily and, when I have my own place, I love to potter in the garden. I keep my space clean and pick up after myself. My dog, Banjo, is well trained and exercised every day. I’m very good at keeping yards clean with a regular poo patrol and would really value living with/among folk who are relaxed with dogs & willing to give him the same boundaries that I do. Banjo has always been allowed to spend time inside with me and sleeps inside at night. He is left outside while I’m at work. If we sound like okay housemates to you, let me know and I’d love to pop by! Many thanks, Suzi
I currently work as a graduate consultant for a private IT company here in Canberra. In my own time I'm a big musician, who specializes in music production. I enjoy graphic and interior design, collecting vinyl records, and meeting new people. I was born and raised in Canberra, and have lived here for the past 19 years. I'm also a uni student, currently aiming for a double degree in IT and Music. My partner Finn & I have been together for almost a year now. Finn is a trans man from Nowra, NSW, and has been living with me in Canberra for about 3 or 4 months. He is currently studying at CIT enrolled in the childcare course. Finn has a large interest in interior decor, the arts, and gardening. He is a very sweet and extroverted person who is always happy to make new friends.
The flat has a huge bedroom, with a queen sized bed, a single bed, a built in robe and still room for a desk. There is a self contained kitchen, with fridge, microwave, electric cook top and oven. You will have a bathroom to yourself, as well as a small sitting area. You will have your own entry and off- street parking is available. We are opposite a nature reserve, where there is lots of walking and running tracks.
I'm a Yoga teacher, dancer, photographer, nature-lover. I'm very tidy, thoughtful and responsible. I am independent with a full life, but I also enjoy the buzz and colour of communal living with good-hearted and gentle people. I like to live in places with beautiful light and near to nature.
Good sized room with build-in wardrobe, heating and cooling, Unlimited internet, central belco location, outdoor entertaining area, garage for storage. It is $172 per week plus bills ($20 internet per month and around $100 each every 6 months for electricity and gas). The room has air conditioning - heating and cooling, and the house is very well insulated in the hot summers and cold winters. The room has a built-in wardrobe with shelves and hanging space. The room can fit a queen bed with a bedside table and drawers, and I had a single bed, large desk and cube storage shelf. Room can come with single bed and cube storage unit as seen in images.
I am fair enough to do my share of chores, bills and toilet paper runs. I am outgoing and love Harry Potter and all things sci-fi. I can carry a conversation with anyone but am respectful of boundaries. I am Aboriginal. I will answer a couple of questions about that but for the most part, I don't normally discuss it much. I'm looking for a place that is northside as I work this way. People who are similar in age would be nice but I can't live with a couple. Utilities included would be awesome but I just need access to parking for my car. And I occasionally smoke. Mostly at work but never inside.
Hi, I’m a 22 year old registered nurse whose moved to Canberra a year ago. I am easy going, clean and tidy but not overly pedantic. I am social but also respect others personal space. Ideally I would like to move to north side of Canberra but I am flexible :)
Hi My name is Maddie I have just finished working in regional Queensland and moving back to Canberra for work. I am a bit of fitness junkie and I love to cook. I have spent the past seven years studying and I am so glad to be out to meet people and work in my field. I am unsure where I will be in 3 months - I work in the arts on a contractual basis so I am mostly moving between jobs/cities. I am looking for a clean, affordable and friendly share house for the meantime. Hope to hear from you!
Hi potential new housemates I am an ex Perth girl and semi nomad who loves to travel. I lived in Canberra in 2017 and loved it and so have been looking to return this year. I will be starting a 6 month contract working as a children's physio in Holt this week and so am looking for somewhere in the Belconnen region to live during this time. I am house trained, come with many travel stories and enjoy hanging out, cooking together, dancing, acroyoga, hiking, picnics and playing outside. Let me know if you think I would be a good fit in your household. Cheers Avila
Born and raised on the Eyre Peninsula in South Australia, I shifted to Adelaide 5 years ago to complete my degree. Now that I have finished my degree I am looking to move around and explore different opportunities. I am moving to Canberra with a new full time job. Initially, I am moving on my own to meet new people but will eventually move my pupper, Lynch and my thug cat, Paxton over and shift into a place of my own, so I am only looking for short term accommodation that is preferably furnished. I have lived with housemates throughout my degree and love to do activities together, whether its going out on a Friday night, having a pizza and wine night at the house or going on a hike on a Sunday morning. I get along with anybody but do love to keep active and love animals so if anyone is into social sports or has a pet we will get along great!
It is a nice and spacious house, close to Belconnen Mall, Belco Markets, Jamison Shops, and the Uni of Canberra. The house has 2 cooking stoves areas, 1 gas, and 1 electric. The house has ducted cooling, so in hot weather, the house stays nice and cool. The bedroom for rent is large with lots of cupboard space. I like the house to be kept clean, so a roster is set up for cleaning. It is essential that the future flatmate is clean and respects the privacy of the other people in the house. The No.40 bus is the nearest, although a slightly longer walk will get you to Belconnen Mall and more buses to choose from.
I've just moved back to Canberra, I work full-time in childcare, I play soccer, enjoy a good night out. Pretty easy going, clean up after myself, would be cool to have house mates keen to hang out occasionally but also respect each others space and privacy!
A bit about me I study primary teaching at UC and work in childcare part time. I am easy going and always down for a chat and a sneaky glass of wine but also respectful if people need their space and some quiet time. I am looking for a sharehouse with friendly people who’d rather be friends then just people who live with one another.
Hey there ! I’m Georgia, I’m an easy going, friendly and reliable gal ! I like playing sports , travelling, being outdoors, socialising and having a few wines but also am happy keeping to myself. I’m looking for people who are clean and tidy, easy to get along with and can have a few laughs!
I'm a guy you can kick back and lunch and/or a beer with. Pretty much always approachable and friendly but I like time to myself as well (balance is good). Work in HR in a program management role which I enjoy. I dabble in music production and guitar. Also love gyming but not cardio 😉 As for what I'm like to live with: Clean and tidy - I like a house that's running smoothly. Work full time so no money dramas. Bills get paid when they're due. Respect boundaries but don't want a roommate that is a complete stranger - we don't have to be best friends though.
Hi, I am moving back to Canberra and I am looking for somewhere to rent. I am clean and quiet. I do enjoy occasionally chatting to my housemate - possibly bonding over trashy tv, a walk, a cuppa or a wine. I also like to have my own time and space too. I like to cook, but I don't cook every night (joys of cooking for one) and will always clean up after myself. I am easy going, kind and always pay my bills on time. I like rock climbing and scuba diving. Ideally, I would like to move in around the end of April (moving from out of town back to Canberra), I have 2 - 4 weeks to find a place once I moved back. It would be great to have my own bathroom but I am flexible. Preferably only one other housemate, but again, for the right house, I could be swayed. Looking forward to finding somewhere great to live.
A furnished master bedroom with two-way bathroom, new kitchen / bathroom, two toilets, two vanities, floor board though out * every bedroom has large wardrobe, double bed, desk, and ceiling fan * Two way bathroom, with separate toilet * New floor board through out, no dirty carpet * Ceiling fan for every area / room * Ducted Gas heating * Quiet secluded location * 24 hour Rinnai infinity hot water * Carport, plus storage shed. * Just a short stroll down the reserve to bus stop * Close to Belconnen Town Centre * Walking distains to Belconnen Westfield
I'm friendly, clean, neat, sociable and respectful of the privacy of others. I've lived in flat/house shares for a few years now and I am now a fully "trained" housemate. I'm working part-time as a therapist and relatively new to Canberra. I have an assistance dog who is ridiculously well behaved. At times, I work from home auditing cases. Please note: I'm only looking to rent as a co-tenant or as a head tenant. I'd be willing to discuss all agreements upfront, even an occupancy agreement with the proviso that I be given a 4 to 6 weeks notice period. Hey guys, the rental market is brutal out there! I'd love to hear from you. In my spare time, I paint and have an active social life on weekends. I tend to go for hikes with my dog, visit friends and I am involved in many side projects that keep me busy. I tend to watch too much TV and Netflix too. I'm looking for a long term stay.
I am a 25 year old female who is looking for a place to stay long term. I am currently working 4 days a week and studying 1 day a week. I work and study on the North side and am hoping to be closer to both locations. I am clean, respectful and give people their own space, however, I am also happy to have a chat and watch a movie! I am an active person who likes to exercise and volunteer in my spare time.
I'm very easy going, considerate to live with and enjoy chilling at home or seeing friends outside of work which I do full-time in the APS. I do have an indoor trained cat that I would love to bring with me! Looking for a flexible person/s to live with who enjoys a chat or to just relax watching movies.
Hey I am from the Philippines but i've been working in Australia for almost 2 yrs now. I am a chef based in Adelaide and was recently assigned in Canberra (Woden to be specific) for work. Interests are food, music, movies, little bit of working out. I am looking for a room to rent in Canberra around 2nd week of april, I am bringing my car with me so a parking spot would be needed. I am a easy going person who loves to hang out with friends whenever I have free time but I also value my own private time. I love to cook during my rest day fron work and I really value cleanliness around the house. Cheers!
I'm a fun easy going guy, I'll keep to myself when necessary, but would like to have fun and make friends with my flatmates. I'm a tidy and usually not too lazy kinda person and i enjoy cooking and watching tv
I am currently in my last year of study. I will be a primary school teacher by the end of the year!!! I love both quiet nights and having drinks with some friends. I have lived in Canberra for most of my lif and ready for some more independence now!!!
Hi there, i’m a calm going guy Who works in government IT, spends time at work, have dinner at home watch a movie or talk to friends over the phone and go out to see friends or places on weekends.
