Hi future housemates! I am Clare. I am seeking a decent sized room to place a queen bed with space for a table/chair/desktop computer which I use for study purposes. I have a houseful of furniture which is going into storage and I will only bring what I need with me. I've had a lease on a large house propery for two years which is ending soon and I am returning to the 'room only' accom option in a share house for the next year or more. I am a Transgender female and have a 'youthful' personality for my age! Although I like to socialise, I am generally quiet at home. Sportswise, I like Bikram Yoga, Badminton and Swimming. I'll be studying a Bachelor of Health Sciences at the University of Canberra next semester. I am okay with the occassional group meal and chatting with other tenants or being independant depending on the vibe in the property. I am a tidy person who cleans up after themselves and is respectful of other tenant's privacy. I can drop-by for an inspection and meeting most days/times, so let me know if you're interested. I'd prefer accommodation that is located in the surrounding suburbs of UC with easy access to public transport routes (ACTION buses). Thanks! PS: I am flexible with move dates around the 5-6th Nov. Either a few days prior or after that weekend is fine by me.
Come chill out in this big 3 bedroom house in the heart of Belconnen. Enjoy a coffee on the back deck overlooking the pool. Or enjoy quiet time in the lounge or study. Shops and buses are an easy walk away. Westfield, Jamison centre, Civic and New Acton are an easy drive. The house offers lots of furnishings (with room for some more), ADSL2+ wifi and Foxtel. Bathroom is shared with one other person. Your room is currently being used for laundry, so come and make it your own
Study full time at the University of Canberra. I like keeping active and doing activities on the weekends. I love watching sport and t.v., going out for breakfast or lunch and a good coffee. I like to have games nights with my friends and watch movies. I'm pretty studious so most of the day I'm studying either at uni or at home. I work casually enough to pay the rent and occasionally go on holidays.
I'm an easygoing person who enjoys spending most of my home time quietly. Am more than happy to join in house activities but tend not to party at home. Not much of a cook (can make a great pumpkin pie) but enjoy cleaning. I currently work in Hospitality as a barista and have hours that range from 9am to 11pm. I'm studying at UC doing a Bachelor of Human Nutrition only in first year. I enjoy scifi pop culture, Anime, Historical Drama, politics, and TV shows that make you think. In my down time I like to do crafty things such as beading, sewing and other needle crafts.
I'm a 31 year old ex-public servant, currently looking for casual employment whilst I wait to commence study next year (Psychology). I am a single mum, however, my 2 year old daughter, Arabella, currently resides with my parents in Kambah. Although there is no formal care/visitation arrangements in place with my folks, it is expected that I go to Kambah to fulfill my visitation requirements, and it would be only on a very rare occasion that I would have to care for Arabella at my own abode. Other than that, I like to get out to see friends as much as possible, get out to gigs when I can, go out for dinner etc, but I also love just vegging at home and watching movies/TV series/Netflix, doing my crosswords, reading, listening to music etc. I am also a bit of an amateur musician - I sing and play a little acoustic guitar. This is a hobby I really want to get back into after years of being a bit lazy about the whole thing. NB: Please note that although I am a smoker, I am strictly an outdoor smoker.
This house really is the perfect share house, you will not feel cramped or infringing on someone's personal space here with: -each bedroom having a locked door with a key for privacy -two bathrooms one my housemate and I share and another (less appointed smaller one) with a toilet and shower in the laundry - second toilet that is stand alone -massive kitchen with gas top that is fully pimped out with -retarded amounts of gadgets for those who love cooking -large dining area -large lounge room -large backyard for those who like gardening -people who smoke outside are welcome, we have a large front deck and a small covered one out back -we have a small garden shed -locked storage under the house that is as large as the entire house The perfect person is someone who has a stable job, pays rent on time and honours their commitments. We like to share work around the house but also relax and drink wine and talk smack. Jaded professionals who work standard hours who worship cats will have an advantage and will thrive living in this environment.
I'm currently still completing year 12, and intend to do further study at UNI. I've been working at a cafe for 3 years and enjoy it very much. I can be a social person, chat about mutual interests and enjoy getting to know people. I also enjoy my alone quiet time as well. I can confidently say I am mature for my age, due to growing up with a single parent and three younger brothers. Also meaning I am no stranger to cleaning up my own mess as well as assisting to keep the household tidy. I'm into reading and watching a few different TV shows, also a huge cat person, so wouldn't mind moving into a house with a cat or any type of animal! I've been in Canberra for majority of my life and intend to stay here. I'm not planning to move out until later in the year however, and just want to extend my feelers out to see what's available. Thanks!

Originally from Melbourne, moved to Canberra working full time in a large company servicing Genotyping Technology which keeps me busy during the week. Enjoy the outdoors; climbing, hiking, skiing etc. Keen to go explore the country, especially the Blue Mountains, so if you're keen then come adventure with me on the weekends. When doing a chore, I like to clean all the mess in an area, and not just mine. So I am looking for a designated and flexible week-by-week roster. Often I am too busy during the week to share meals, so I tend to solo cook after work. But if I do come home early, I always keen to share the experience :) Looking for flat mates my age, i.e. Full time workers who can keen themselves busy. I am curious about people, so I enjoy getting to know people from different backgrounds and ethnicities. I am straight and accept everyone from all walks of life.

Hi there, My name is Clare, and I'm looking to start a share house or join an existing one with at least one other female in a peaceful home, ideally in the inner north suburbs of Canberra. I'm keen for a sense of community at home, so prefer to live with people who are happy to share a meal or cup of tea from time to time, but am also aware of respecting people's need for space/ down time. I work full time in the government in a social justice role, and in my spare time catch up with friends, see bands, listen to music, exercise. I am good with paying bills on time and pitching in for chores. I like watching SBS/ABC occasionally ... Looking for 6 -12 month lease. If this sounds of interest, please drop me a line with a little about yourself. Thankyou!
Hello! I'm moving to Canberra from Brisbane for 3 months for work. I just finished uni, studying economics. As a housemate, I like to socialise with the occasional wine, but definitely am not a party gal. I don't smoke or have any pets, but I do have a boyfriend who would visit occasionally (he lives in Brisbane, so not that often). I enjoy keeping a clean home so if you do too that would be perfect. As i'm only coming down for a little while i really need the room to be furnished, with a bed at least. Let's chat!
Hi My name is Thibault and I am a French student. I have been in canberra for 4 months so far and I am starting a PhD in physics at the ANU in october. I already live in a sharehouse right now but the lease is ending so I need to find a new place. I have been living with flatmates for the last 3 years so I am used to it. I am easy to live with and clean (without being a cleanliness freak). I am often working late during the week, so you may not see me a lot but I like spending some time with my flatmates during the week-end. I don't have pets but I like animals. I don't smoke but I used to, so it's not a problem for me if you do. Finally I am a musician (guitar and drums) and I love jamming session so I would love to move in with other musicians.
What makes you great to live with? Well it must be something! I get asked allot to move in with people I have lived with previously. Joss H (housemate 2015) Said I am " Fun, easy going and relaxed. Love to laugh but also very responsible and well mannered". I am currently back home in Western Australia working as an Events Manager however am heading back to the east coast to attend Canberra University and work part -time. I currently live with friends who are married one of which works in Brazil so one minute its a girls house and for every second month its a mixed house (I'm adaptable). I love to have fun but not in the drink all night kind of a way! My old housemate Emma D always calls me up for a laugh and a good dance around the house. I am hard working but love cooking communal dinners to catch up but have a household where everyone does their own thing. I attend the gym most days and am a big coffee and brunch girl( ill find any excuse to get us out of the house and drinking a hot cup of the good stuff) . If you think you could live with an outgoing, caring human, send me a message. Looking forward to hearing from you.
This is a newly renovated house and so everything is new. A bed is included and a large cupboard to fit all of your stuff in. There is a very large backyard which is great to relax in. This house is about five minutes away from Westfield Belconnen and has a bus stop about a few metres away from it which will take you straight to civic. The $170 includes water and internet bills however it does not include the gas and electricity bills. When those bills come they are split between the tenants of the house. We have solar panels so those bills are not very expensive.
I am moving to Canberra from Perth in the week beginning 7 November 2016, so happy to move in any time from then (flexible as I will be booking short-term accommodation for when I arrive). I am a 21 year old accountant (will be working in the CBD) - I have lived in Perth nearly my whole life. My interests include cooking and swimming, and generally spending time in the outdoors. I am friendly and approachable around the house but am also able to provide my housemates with space (we all need it!) at times. Please let me know if you think I'd be a fit for your house!

I'll be moving from North Queensland to Canberra in early 2017. I'll be working full time as a teacher so you won't see me much during the week. I've been living by myself for the last 2 years so I know how to clean up after myself. I also have lived in shared accommodation with both guys and girls. I'm looking to live with someone who wants to be friends but can also respect the need for privacy and personal space. I offer the same to any potential housemate. If you clean up after yourself, we'll get along just fine. Also, I'm up for the occasional beverage on the weekends but I'm not looking for a party house. I'm just getting too darn old :P

Now, I'm holding Working Holiday VISA for being familiar with Canberra in advanced, also I have a very stable PT job just right in Canberra Centre. I'm very easy going. Mostly, I would only play guitar and watch street dance video while being at home. Please inbox me if you think I could be a good member in your house.

Hey guys, I am currently working at a Primary School in the Belconnen region and would love to move in with my partner into either a granny flat, share accomodation or anywhere that involves friendly housemates. I will one day be looking to invest in an outdoor dog at some point in the future, so I am hopeful of finding a property or teaming up with someone to live where pets are considered. My partner and I are open to all types of accomodations and would be happy to either team up with others to create a new house share or join an existing house share. I am looking for a 6-12month lease, most likely 12 but would prefer only signing the 6 as to not feel locked into anything. Thanks! Contact number is 0447789680.
