Hi everyone! I'm a friendly and creative artist looking for a place to call home until March next year. I graduated this year with a degree in film/media arts and I have an interest in many things, including writing, playing guitar and drawing. By nature I'm easy-going and have no problem keeping to myself (my hobbies can keep me quite occupied), though I also like to hang out and do fun stuff with people- I won't shy away from socializing if that's happening. When it comes to daily life, I keep my surroundings tidy and respect others' space and privacy. I work most weekends and some days during the week, coming and going regularly- and quietly. You won't have any housekeeping dramas with me, that's a promise. If you're looking for someone to share a place with and you think I might be a good fit, let me know and I'd be happy to be in contact! Cheers, Jolinda
I'm bubbly, caring, clean and fairly easy going. I work full time in Belconnen and am looking for an unfurnished room/house in the Belconnen area. I do have a one year old cat called Pumba, who is an absolute sweetheart and loves cuddles. He's completely house trained and knows his boundaries so you have no need to worry about him scratching your furniture or anything. I'm looking for likeminded people to share with who don't mind being social and having a drink or two and enjoying the occasional weekend BBQ. If you think you fit the bill send me a message!!
Suburban living. The room is a large master bedroom with built in wardrobes and an ensuite. It comes with four piece timber queen sized suite and bedding - or bring your own. There's also room for a TV and small desk. The house is on a quiet street with friendly neighbours. The lounge, dining room and kitchen have natural light all day from north facing windows. The kitchen is fully equipped and has an informal dining area. The floor to ceiling windows look out onto the back yard. The back yard is huge. There is a 12m by 6m swimming pool deep enough to dive into. The shed has lots of storage and room for hobbies. The back deck is great for year round entertaining, or a quiet Sunday morning breakfast. Walk to Hawker Shops or Weetangera shops in minutes. Westfield is a easy 20min walk. Drive to Civic and the Parliamentary Triangle in less than 20 minutes. If you have a friendly cat or dog, who will be happy spending its time in the back yard, then we can work something out. Rent covers the room and use of everything already in the house. Bills are extra. Bill-inclusive rent can be negotiated.
This room is temporarily not available until further notice. $150 per week plus $25 on water, electricity and Internet Access (ADSL 2+) per week = 175 per week If you are into short term arrangement, it will be $190 per week. In Winter, we will split the heating cost from those who do not use heating. Room include bed, mattress, desk, chair, study lamp, Built in robe and fan. Shared with two professional workers.
Leaving home and leaving college temporarily, I'm happy to do washing and clean the place as I have lots of spare time. Looking for full-time employment currently so I'm set to rent my own place after a few months of saving :) Until then I am part-time. My social life is a little dead so no huge parties or anything

I am always here to help, if you need a helping hand. I consider housemates more like friends. My hobbies include fitness, movies, music, and socializing. Contact me if you want more information :) I am very easy going.
I am a PhD student starting work at CSIRO, i am a relaxed, tidy, easy going guy looking for flatmates in a similar vein. I'm a keen bushwalker and soccer player, from sydney originally.

Hey! I'm currently studying full-time at UC and working a hospitality part-time job. I have been living in Canberra for nearly 2 years coming from the Central Coast. I like to be social and chat but also like privacy and can respect the same for others. I am clean and willing to pitch in where and when it is needed. I'm easy going and enjoy having or good laugh or listening to some good tunes.
Hello! Working part-time whilst studying in IT looking for other roommates to share a house with. I'm a chill housemate, neat & friendly always up for a drink or two. In my spare time I would either be on the PC, Playing guitar or out on the motorbike.
I'm a part-time bookseller, currently looking for full-time work. I'm social, enjoy meeting new people, and am happy to join in with group activities. I can bring my own furniture, and don't need a furnished room. I can provide a television and video game consoles, if that interests anyone. I also have a small board game collection, and make excellent pizza. The moving date is not set in stone, I am happy to arrange to move in earlier or later.
I'm an easy going person, happy to have a night in or a night out! I don't smoke, not the biggest fan of drugs for myself, but wont judge you! I've only been to Canberra once, so you might get some stupid questions from be about where things are, or be asked to tag along to all the tourist things! I have a dog named Mia, she is ~3 and is a rescue. Not sure of her breed she is pretty big, but she is a sweet dog. The only thing she wants is a bit of attention and maybe food! I'll be available to move in from November!
Hi there thanks for checking my profile, I am making a big move from sunny Brisbane to cool Canberra. I am very chilled and easygoing guy, always clean after myself. Love chatting with my flatmates and the occasional drink as well as hangout once in a while. I am a software professional and I am working for a Canberra based office and will be moving from Brisbane start of November. Looking for a place to move into with friendly and responsible flatmates ideally a bit close to the city(no particular suburb). I am fairly active and and keep myself busy most evenings either having dinner with friends(although I do not know many people in Canberra yet), going to the gym and I love latin dancing, have been doing that for years and end up going to some of those events few nights a week. I try to play a few sports but but almost bad at all of them(still play for fun)! When I am home I love to watch movies, some TV shows, cook sometimes, relax and have a conversation and work some times. I am not a party animal but like partying once in a while. Please message me if you think I am someone who you would like to live with and have a comfortable room to share :-) We can have a chat and go from there!

Hi, I am an international student studying accounting at University of Canberra. I love to make new friends but I also respect their privacy. I would prefer to stay very close to the university since it's my first time here. I am from India and I pretty much adjust to anyone, except smokers.I don't smoke neither do I drink. I don't have any problem with you drinking if that's the case.
Hi! I'm a 24-year old male currently living in Sydney, looking for a place down in Canberra as I have recently accepted a graduate position with an animal health organisation; I'd be looking to move down quite soon (mid/late October - early November). I'm a pretty laid-back person, and not much of a party-er. Things I enjoy: tennis, bushwalks/hikes, baking/cooking, skiing, jogging, sleeping in, reading (mainly fiction), playing the keyboard (don't worry, I only play with headphones) and days at the beach. Let me know if there's anything else you'd like to know!
Hi! My name's Islay, and my partner's name is Jacob. We're looking for a 6 month to 12 month (or more) place that is within around 15mins drive to the city (if possible)! We're laid-back, chill people who are looking forward to a fresh living space. A little about us: We both study at ANU - I study science (biochemistry and cell/molecular biology) and Jacob studies engineering (renewable energy and theoretical physics [he's definitely the smart one!]), which is what takes up most of our time during the week. On weekends, we both work our respective jobs. We're a busy couple, but in our down time we like to cook together, take walks and watch movies (usually sci-fi). Please let us know if we sound like the kind of people you'd like to share with. We're always up for a chat :)
Jens and I are 23 and 22 years old, both from Germany and both studying Physics. Jens has graduated already and is going to start his PhD in Astrophysics at ANU. Therefore he will be living in Canberra for at least a few years. I am doing my Masters in Physics and I will come to Canberra to write my Masters thesis in a research group at ANU for about six months. We both like sports and the outdoors a lot and love to go mountainbiking, hiking, skiing, swimming, surfing,... Both of us have lived in shared flats before and like to consider ourselves as pretty uncomplicated as well as clean and tidy. Of course we are always up for a chat or sharing a meal with our flatmates :)
I'm originally from central NSW, moved to Wollongong for uni and then came to Canberra in 2015 for a job in the public sector. I'm a seasoned veteran of the sharehouse, I'm super tidy and respectful of others' spaces. I haven't had any conflicts with my previous housemates to date and while I'm probably a bit more inclined to do my own thing than most I'm by no means a social hermit. I'm happy to accommodate your friends if the sentiment can be returned. I love traveling (actually I'm returning from a trip to the USA at the moment, hence looking for a place), also enjoy cycling and motorcycling, reading, Netflix binges, craft beer appreciation sessions and stimulating conversations about history, politics, society or pretty much anything if you're knowledgeable and passionate about it. If you think you could live with me or you have any other questions, please don't be shy! Cheers
